Great food but felt a bit mugged

By Nodrog67 |

Visited last night and realised quickly this was a high end restaurant, furnishings and decor really great. Food was great too but when the starters came an extra (expensive) one was added and when we said we didn’t order it, the waitress was a bit sniffy about it. It seemed like she wanted us to say, we will just have it. Also, when we ordered the food (we got a starter each but decided to share 2 mains between 4 of us as well as rice and noodles) the waitress said that wasn’t enough food as the portions were really small. So she suggested the ribs and we said yes (stupidly). The ribs were 88 dollars and the portions were very generous. Half the food was wasted as we couldn’t eat it. Again, lovely place but just feeling a bit mugged and a bit stupid for being conned by her. We told her we were not big eaters and she just did not listen.

A Failed Duck Hunt in Vegas

By albinwells |

On a girls' weekend, we decided to visit Mott 32 again, with the goal of having another one of their tasty (if quite pretentious) Peking Ducks. We made a reservation several days in advance through the hotel concierge. Saturday night was packed and there was more noise than dinner normally warrants. We were told by our waitress that Peking Duck had to be ordered in advance -- she seemed to think we were obligated to check their website first. Then, seeing our sad faces, she ran off to get the Manager, who simply repeated what she told us and then disappeared, without making any other suggestions. The soup was clear broth with three lonely wontons, the "crispy" wagyu shortribs were rubbery, the beef with broccoli included two ingredients that apparently spent the cooking process ignoring one another and avoiding all seasonings. The salad was quite good, but my summary of the experience includes our going down the hall to another restaurant to actually get dinner.

Part of a strip helicopter flight package

By Dean S |

We booked this as part of a helicopter flight over the Las Vegas Strip. This came with a set menu. However on arrival it appeared the menu had been oversold and we found we weren't offered what had been advertised. We could not resolve this issue and it detracted from the experience. We were told it wasn't the restaurants fault the menu advertised was incorrect. Unclear on the relationship between the helicopter company and the restaurant although it shouldn't be hard to get this correct. On the positive side, the food was excellent, with very good service. Did feel slightly expensive though

Lovely Dining Experience! I will return!

By Ron R |

This is an excellent restaurant—wait service, ambiance, and meal! I really enjoyed the diversity of the menu and the wine list. The General Tso chicken, the mushroom soup, and the fried rice with sausage and asparagus were my favorites at the table!!

Get your Soup dumplings today.

By Benjamin S |

Bar seating and regular table serving available here. The bar is located at the entrance area and does get noisy (it’s Vegas). With family or looking for a more quiet or romantic setting, try to get table seating in the back, you can watch chefs in action through a glass window and it’s way more pleasant for conversation. While the menu offers a broad variety of Asian food. It’s the long bao dumplings that you should get, it’s the best I have had anywhere in the world. My recommendation here is to get the soup dumplings with a couple of drinks at the bar. It’s a great snack as a pre show small dinner or before enjoying Las Vegas nightlife, even before heading to bed.

Subpar

By Alaskanjim |

It was ok. The duck was extremely tough and chewy; the cod was overpowered by a smoke and char— maybe too much heat. The wild mushrooms appetizer was nice. There was a wait to get seated and our waiter was unattentive. I’d say the whole experience was subpar

Love the decor but..

By HonestMcHonest |

Truly fun decor - but the film reel which seems to have Anna Mae Wong over and over gets old - alas the food is not all that good - service is friendly but overworked

Overrated

By frankie m |

You can go to your local spot and get the same food and save lots of money. Not worth the price at all.

Great dinner!

By John-Paul D |

Unbelievable dining experience. One of the best meals in all of Las Vegas. Food, service, ambience, everything about Mott 32 is perfect. This was my third time here and I feel like it has gotten better each time.

Greasy, tasteless but the service as good!

By Connected Barry |

Stopped into Mott32 for a solo feed after a 5 hour drive. Read great reviews and was waiting all day to have some great Chinese food. Started with Prawn toast......as I bit into it the toast the grease was dripping out!! I was recommended the Prawns with garlic and spring onion and I asked for the fried rice with iberico Pork. The prawns came well presented looked great and the rice along side. Portions were large enough for 2. Main prawn dish was tasteless and missing any rationale for the $38 price tag. The rice looked good but once I started the grease was also the strong tasting factor. The server was very good, attentive, the floor staff were polite and prompt. Music was very good and decor comfortable and welcoming. Overall I felt let down by the food given the location, reviews and price. Let’s see if they can get the food to the right level of expectation!!!!!!

Best Roasted Duck

By Stephen |

Best Chinese on the strip. Make sure to put in an extra reservation for the roasted duck in addition to your seating reservation. The roasted duck is the best in the world. I have traveled all over the world Mott 32 is the best.

Must preorder the Peking Duck & Pork!

By Ann0426 |

It was suggested that I preorder the Peking Duck and their special pork when I called to confirm my reservation. I am glad I did because both were superb. Our waiter suggested the apps and side dishes. What came to the table was not what was ordered but we enjoyed anyway but language could have been the misunderstanding. Overall the food and decor is very special.

Real Chinese

By 419pat |

Went as a group of nine and had a private room in this top notch restaurant. Had an amazing meal that was loved by the whole table. Not your normal Chinese eating experience, truly can’t fault any part of the whole evening. Highly recommend the duck and the dim sum.... all washed down with a few bottles of fantastic wine.

One of the nest Asian restaurants I have ever visited

By MrPKI |

The food is delicious with very fast service and a great infused experience. The staff are friendly and very attentive to your needs. The cocktails are different, but fun to try. The Five O'Clock in Hong Kong was a great appetizer drink choice. We would definitely visit again on our next trip to Vegas. Reservations are strongly recommended as it is a popular location.

Excellent duck combs in Vegas

By fernando rendon g |

Excellent place for Chinese food, Elegant, tasteful. The specialty comb duck is a delight I recommend. Must be ordered in advance High prices and especially in wine. Calculate 100 usd per person without alcohol or mid-range wine

Overpriced

By David H |

Overpriced - 3 out of 4 did not enjoy the food. Wine list is an absolute joke - obviously sell very few bottles of wine! Really surprised at what a poor dining experience it was

Disappointed

By SunloverMiltonKeynes |

Visited for our anniversary and have been to the Dubai one which was amazing……Las Vegas was nothing like it….poor service and limited food choices for vegetarian (Dubai have loads)

Do not recommend, Scam Peking Duck

By Relax04207419706 |

Start with the good, ambience is good. Waiter & waitress are friendly and provide good service. 3 fail dishes. I will be specific on each 1 of them. Totally unacceptable, escpecially for the 1st fail. 1ST FAIL: Your signature dish "Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck", absolute failure by using gas to roast the duck. Where's "APPLE WOOD". This is a scam. First, The duck skin taste like "NATURAL GAS". Second, roasted time is not enough to completely get rid of the oil under duck skin. Complete Fail. 2ND FAIL: "Pearl Meat Soup, Sea Conch, Black Chicken, Matsutake Mushroom". This soup will trigger your vomit reaction. I know the restaurant was using dried pearl meat, but the cook either doesn't know how to prepare this dried ingrediant or the ingrediant itself was bad. The pearl meat taste really stinky. 3RD FAIL: "Yeung Chow Style Fried Rice, Prawn, Iberico Pork, Asparagus". it's not authentic, but that's fine. The really issue was that whoever cook this dish, didn't obtain the basic on how to cook fried rice dish. This dish is severely under cooked. It's hard to chew and swallow. This Las Vegas location shame this brand. Do not recommend.

A must visit!

By Emjamo |

Fabulous Asian food- really lovely and helpful staff and the food was amazing - hot, fresh and really tasty- can highly recommend the Dim Sum dumplings!

Incredible Birthday Dinner!

By Stacythewitch |

We celebrated a birthday at Mott 32 and the food, service, and atmosphere was 5 star! We had the Peiking Duck which is their specialty, and it was amazing. The duck is carved tableside, which adds to the ambiance. We had bbq Iberico pork, so delicious! Other delicious dishes that we had were, lobster fried rice, Iberico pork dim sum, Szchuan crispy chicken and sesame prawn toast. The service was wonderful, but keep in mind the fact that they have no heating lamps, so the food comes out immediately when it is done. So when we ordered all the food above it was delivered in the order that it was done cooking. Also, we ordered the Peiking duck ahead of time, when we made the reservation, so it took 20 minutes instead of the standard 30.

Superb!

By Virginia K |

Beautiful restaurant interior which is a good start! Food matched and did service, all excellent. I would highly recommend the blackened cod it was superb, it was served in chunks (lots) unlike the uk when we normally get a slice in a leaf, it was excellent, best I’ve had. Mixed rice & cabbage / pea bowl complemented perfectly. Generous portions unlike some restaurants. Not cheap but good value vs some other restaurants. Would highly recommend.

I am a little picky when it come to Asian food.

By Seetheworld |

The design of the restaurant is beautiful. I think I choose it for the aesthetics. The menu looked delicious and had some vegan options for my friend. I really wanted to try the Peking duck, but it was pricey. So I just picked a two appetizers. The soft shell crab was over fried and a little tough. For the price point all the dishes should be perfect. The service was great though and it was not busy.

Stylish and delicious Chinese restaurant

By travel550 |

One of my favorites in Vegas. Their soup dumplings, Iberico pork, and sea bass are absolutely delicious. Chic decor and professional service add to the very enjoyable dining experience. Food is definitely better than Wing Lei at Wynn.

Poor service ruined our meal

By Vacation772454 |

We should have known to cut our losses when we waited over 20 minutes just to get water and menus, but we were determined. Service picked up with regular & frequent water refills. But then our waitress forgot to put in over half of our order, and then she disappeared for 45 minutes. By the time she came back and we alerted her to the missing dishes, the kitchen was closed and they had to scramble to throw something together for half of our table. Of course by then the people filling our drink glasses were long gone. We left there after paying a bill of over $300, plus a very generous $100 tip (you're welcome, we know COVID has been tough on servers) hungry and thirsty and dropped another $75 on burgers because we were starving. Horrible experience all together.

Very Disappointing..... Would not go again.

By Sergio1954 |

Very disappointing as far as food. The venue itself is nice although VERY dark. Luckily they have a small light on the table so you can see the menu. Service was good, but getting our food took a long time. We ordered 2 different kinds of dumplings and the duck spring rolls for appetizers. Have to say, there was nothing very special about them - not a lot of taste. For entrees we had the lobster fried rice ($78) which had absolutely no taste - and not sure how much lobster was there - kind of blended in with everything else. Lamb chops - there were 4 which were good -- but no rice or anything to accompany - and for $68 - expected more. Last was shrimp and noodles - again no taste - just average. I would have expected to have some type of soy sauce, or chili paste or something to put on pretty much everything we ate except for the lamb chops. VERY average -- that is why only 3 stars. I would not go there again and I would not recommend. Noodle Asia at the Venetian probably has food just as good although the atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

A different but enjoyable dining experience

By AKGonTOUR |

Looking for something different, we had seen that this place had received lots of good reviews and accolades. We were booked in quite late, 9pm, and on arrival had to wait for our table. We were placed in the bar, and were called through a little while later. A bit disappointing that we could add our drinks to our table. We were a bit confused by the menu. The waitress said that it’s designed to share, but didn’t really say how many dishes we would need. I took a stab at ordering and hoped for the best. The food arrived quickly and we weren’t disappointed. It was clear to see why they have won so many awards. There was also plenty to go around. A little more helpful guidance at the start would have really helped, but we got there in the end. A very enjoyable meal.

Get the roasted pork!

By Jason B |

I had the 48 hr applewood cooked duck as well but I would have rather had 4 more plates of pork it was so good.

It wasn't a meal, it was a ballet!

By Dina Mitchell |

42 days to prepare, sells out quickly and preorder is advised. Peking Duck has long been my favorite food in the world, and it's been years since I've had it. If this wasn't the best I've ever had, it certainly was among a very short list of being the best. Meaty, joyful and delicate. A delight! I just knew the 36-Month Acorn Fed Barbecue Pluma Iberico Pork would be the first thing I thought about the next morning, and it was. And the Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings, they bursted with layers of juicy goodness. This was my first time at Mott 32 Las Vegas and the staff executed the entire meal brilliantly. The hostess, the bartender and our server Valentino were all exactly how servers should be, knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, and not pushy. Each corner of the restaurant was thoughtfully designed. The old black and white movies on the wall was creative and fun. I hope I don't burn out on this place because it has just shot up on my list of favorite restaurants in Las Vegas and I plan to be back, a lot!

Atmosphere good, food solid nothing outstanding

By Alan H |

Space is interesting, nice, service good, price for the Dim Sum a bit high for what you get, we order 3 different ones all good, but not best thing I ever ate. They were out of all BBQ dishes for some reason, so maybe other menu items might have improved my thoughts. Had a noddle disk that was good. Order a Soup that seafood/rice, just so/so. One of those places not sure it is worth the price, not sure I would go back, but someone I would say try what you order could change the experience.

Never again, very average food for a very long wait

By jmLondon845 |

We never tried this restaurant before and we wanted to spend a nice evening out eating Asian food not too far from the Wynn. We selected this restaurant based on TA reviews. We didn't like the decor, the atmosphere. The room is huge and noisy. We selected a few dishes, Crispy Szechuan Chicken,Assorted Wild Mushroom in Lettuce Cup, grilled sea bass and free range chicken . We waited for ever to get our dishes and called our waiter 10 times. When we received the dishes, we had a huge disappointment. Bad evening. Never again. Expensive for what it is. Much better other Chinese restaurants around.

Every dish better than the one before!

By mgd1429 |

There were a few in our group less than thrilled that we were doing Asian - they were hushed quickly!!! We were lucky enough to have a private room for seven. Our table had the lazy susan - it was a hit. We ordered a sampling of apps and a sampling of meals and everyone just tasted everything. I am not joking - EVERY DISH WAS BETTER THAN THE NEXT! This is a MUST do for fine dining in Vegas!

Amazing Decor and Experience

By leep116 |

Being from LA and frequent Hong Kong, food was solid but not the best cantonese food I've ever had. The duck and the cha siu have to be reserved ahead of time. Dishes were generous portions. Decor was amazing. Service as well. I told of server I loved our tea at our end of the meal. She brought back togo cups and poured the rest out while giving us 2 additional portions of the tea bags.

Kitchen non-functional, dinner ruined.

By Andrea M |

My husband and I made dinner reservations at Mott and had tickets to a nearby Cirque show. Front desk was kind, waitress was too. We ordered and almost an hour later she informed us there was a problem in the kitchen but our food would be out soon. 10min later a waitress refilled water and we asked how long until food arrived. This gal informed us food wasn’t ready because of a kitchen problem and she didn’t know when it would be. She sent the manager over and we let him know we had 45min until our show across the street. He apologized that the wok’s weren’t cooking effectively and food would not be ready. We politely voiced concern for not being kept informed as we had very little time to eat now. He offered a complimentary coffee at our next visit. I declined and asked if he could help get us seated elsewhere in hope we could still eat before the show? He walked us to a nearby restaurant but no one came over to take our order so we left. It was very disappointing to be dressed up for a special dinner, not be kept properly informed and then offered a coffee at a later visit. What a joke! We won’t be back.

Great Atmoshphere

By Joe J |

Amazing service, atmoshphere, and food! I love this place! I visited Vegas 2wks ago for vacation and I always try to eat at least once at a high-end place. This was perfect! We made reservations 10 min before we showed up for 7pm on a Thursday. You must try the marinated cucumber appetizer! This is perfect if you are on a diet and it taste great! For dinner I had the chicken claypot and it was sooo tasty. The portion sizes are large for your money. The fried rice comes separately and the size is meant for 2 people, so just keep that in mind. Rice does not automatically come with any of the entrees.

ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I'VE EVER HAD!!

By peggy947 |

If you are looking for a dinner that you will remember for a long time, GO HERE! I honestly cannot believe how jaw-dropping delicious every single item was. I loved that they have it "sharing style" as that is exactly what you want to do - share how wonderful your food is with everyone. We came here for a dinner party of 10 and we were lucky enough to book their private room. If I could give this place 10 stars - I would. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough for the memorable meal we had. Everything was the best we could possibly want. Our waiter (Valentino) was so patient in dealing with us and he was really kind. I wish I could remember the names of our additional servers and the Sommelier, but everyone was honestly the best. I wish we lived closer as this restaurant would be a MUST VISIT every single week. Bottom line - GO HERE if you are looking for one of the best meals you could ever have...EVER!!!

Nice! But…🤔

By Eduardo P |

Great quality and taste of the menu offer. Nice cocktails! But… awful service. I felt that if I was alone this evening (I mean without my fiancée), I would receive a better attention from my hostess, Ashley. Since the very beginning I ordered an ice tea , and I had to remember to the manager for it. Second, I ordered some sugar… same situation! Finally, I felt that she almost forgot me during my evening: only 3 times she was at my table to look if I needed something. So, it’s amazing that is a top restaurant with an awful and forgettable service. Anyway, thank you to the manager who try to subsitute the terrible service and attention of Ashley.

Best Peking Duck

By mjbinkc |

Went for a late dinner and had the Peking Duck. It was the best I have had outside of China. The service was excellent and the food impeccable. The pork dumplings are a great appetizer. This is a definite must while in Vegas.

Great experience!

By DutchImport |

Great experience! We had the five course menu and it was excellent. Every course was very tasteful The sea bass and the sirloin was exquisite. The service was friendly and humorous. The only thing that was slightly off was the rock music but we had some fun with that with the staff. All in all a good place to go!

Overpriced average Chinese food

By Layla Jane A |

It’s okay food that is highly overpriced . We pre ordered the duck. It should be made clear that you do not get a whole duck but rather they carve a small portion of the duck for you . That is really inappropriate when the menu says a whole Peking duck for the table. The duck was okay. I have made Peking duck at home on multiple occasions and have had it in plenty of places in NYC from fancy to non fancy … it was just okay and not worth the price. There was hair in one of the sauces and that really turned me off. The server had long hair that was down and it grazed my plate when she leaned over too. Pork buns were good.. a little sweeter than necessary. Duck mushroom spring roll good. Soup dumpling okay. I wouldn’t return .

Excellent food!!! This place is now on my list to visit every trip!

By D'Auna L |

I have walked by this place a thousand times, but never stopped to eat. What a mistake! It was delicious! There were 4 of us and we all ordered a plate and shared. My favorite was the mushroom egg rolls! Everything was fantastic! I can’t wait to go back!

We are making fun of you

By C d |

Honestly, the quality of the food was so poor...I had the vegetarian "chicken" dish and it was nothing but fried tofu that was so salty and so dry with fried chili. Fortunately we had other more digestible dishes, but really not extraordinary... The service also leaves something to be desired. The music was so loud that we couldn't even communicate with the waitress. If you want a good Chinese restaurant you have to go to Wing Lei.

Best Duck Ever

By cobi714 |

Mott 32 is a must stop experience in Las Vegas. Their duck is by far the best duck I have ever eaten. The wait staff, bar tenders, and hostesses were super accommodating. Nathan Grates has done something special here that you must try.

Not your typical Chinese restaurant

By Viki C |

Interesting dishes, well prepared and delicious. Entrees are large and we shared 2 between 3 adults and it was plenty. A little expensive but it's Vegas.

High quality Asian food, Vegas prices

By lovetotravel |

Outstanding food presentation and attentive service while dining at the bar. Expext to pay Vegas prices, the ambiance is extremely well appointed

good food, not good atmosphere

By bettykid |

The food was amazing and the service was awesome. But the ambiance was not good. This restaurant was in the middle of the casino. Some of the seats are in the middle of the facility and some are are next to the casino floor. We were near the casino floor, there is no wall between. There were people smoking in the casino so our meal was smokey. There was loud music in the restaurant and there was louder music in the casino and they competed with each other. There were also loud sounds from the slots next to our table, the effect was a lot of competing noises that made our meal not enjoyable. But they made me an amazing cocktail!

Very tasty Chinese restaurant in the Venetian

By kls42 |

We looked for a quiet place for dinner with friends and the Venetian concierge recommended Mott 32. Since the restaurant was crowded we were seated in a private room with a lovely round table and great ambience. Service was excellent. All the many choices were shared and they were all nicely presented and very tasty.

Great spot!

By Arash R |

We loved this spot. Absolutely great! We weren't too impressed with the service, but the food was great! The cocktails were creative and fun. We were very impressed with the Asian style frog legs. The decor was beautiful, the ambiance was great. We'd definitely go back!

Amazing food and service, will be back

By J. G. |

I have always done the classic steak dinner in vegas. However, I am a big foodie and have begun to come out of my shell when it comes to vegas food. Mott 32 did not disappoint. Had peiking duck and Iberico pork (both must be pre-ordered 48hrs+). It was spectacular. Plus the vibe was amazing. I was between here, Sushisamba, Tao, and Wing Lei. I am glad I chose this place. Food came out fast, service was great, and so were the cocktails. I read through a lot of reviews, the negatives were mostly around the duck not being available due to not being pre-ordered. So I really think this place should be rated higher on TripAdvisor.

Exotic flavors

By MarkVegas65 |

What a fantastic dinner. The service here is impeccable. Started with Dim Sum, great flavors. Next up on the tasting menu was the Sweet and Sour Pork with Dragon fruit and aged black vinegart, wonderful tastes that exploded. The next course we split Grilled Sea Bass and Australian Wagyu Sirloin. Fresh, perfectly cooked. The main lobster fried rice with oyster mushrooms and edamame was the final course before dinner and capped the tasting perfectly. We were done at this point but desert was next and the White Chocolate Panna Cotta with lychee sorbet and dried raspberries rounded the night perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend the tasting menu!

By travelkittten1983 |

If you can, definitely do the chefs tasting menu. It was phenomenal and not necessarily things I would’ve ordered. The portions were obscenely big though. We were starving when we got there and still were only able to finish half our food. If they allow the option to split one with two people it’s still more than enough. They swapped out or white chocolate Pana cotta for ice cream for dessert which was a bit disappointing, for a higher end restaurant I expected something a little bit nicer than ice cream on the chefs tasting menu but the appetizers and main course items were fantastic. The decor & vibe is really fun but if they take you into the red room, ask for another table. They seated us in a booth that had subwoofers under our seats, it was shaking so bad with the beat we actually felt nauseous, like we were on a ride at a theme park. The maître d’ mentioned that they’ve tried to disconnect those speakers with no success and were aware it was an issue so not sure why they put us there to begin with. A real shame because that room is stunning but impossible to eat a 5 course meal when your body is vibrating.

The Real Deal

Excellent choice. Food authentic Cantonese. Service superior. Absolute must if you like Chinese food. I wish they were up the street.

Peking Duck

By cmsmith9395 |

The was the best meal we have ever had in Vegas. The peking duck is a must! Next visit to Vegas we will do it again!!

Excellent Chinese restaurant inside the Palazzo

By KevinVickyHolly |

We had a great experience at Mott 32. The restaurant is inside the casino of the Palazzo. There was a lot on the menu that took my fancy as I love Asian food and it didn’t disappoint! The pork buns and general taos chicken were delicious. The schezwan chicken was great and not for the faint hearted with lots of dried red chillis! Service was great, constantly topping our wine up throughout the meal. The only downside is that our meals came out at different times to each other however this wasn’t too much of a problem, I believe the food just comes as it is ready. I heard a rumour that they are opening a Mott 32 in London, I hope this is true as I would love to return!

You won’t be disappointed

By YLee03 |

This was one of our best restaurant we’ve ate at during our many stays in Vegas. Although we had a reservation a few days before we arrived since their is a party of 9, they still took almost an hour to seat us. They did make sure they went above and beyond for the inconvenience so we would definitely be back for more amazing services and delicious food and drinks. Also, I would recommend this restaurant over and over and over again to friends and family. First off we ordered pretty much the whole menu. Everything was really good but what really stood out was the shu mai with quail eggs and the duck!!! The drinks were all good so can’t go wrong with that either. The setting is gorgeous and the little room they had use in was definitely unique and very catchy with a feather chandelier right over us! Make sure you make time for this restaurant! You won’t be disappointed and our server was so so so so amazing and sweet.

Good service but disappointing food

By Procaccia |

The restaurant offers a welcome refuge from the noise and blinking lights that one has to suffer to reach it. The service is good and courteous, but the food is not good. We were five for dinner, and we sampled a number of dishes, including beef, shrimp, various vegetables, a fish soup and what not. None of the dishes were horrible, but none was not good enough either. The chef has a tendency to add sugar and lots of salt to the dishes, making either too sweet or two salty, or both. The cut of the beef was excellent, soft and juicy, but the taste destroyed by the sugar. This is not a good Chinese restaurant.

Drinks out of this world

By Gurjit K |

We didn't eat here but were enticed by the fantastic doorman to have pre drinks here on one night of our trip. We were absolutely blown away. It wasn't busy the night we came out, the bar was relatively quiet but the restaurant seemed to be more lively. The fact it wasn't rammed with people actually made us stay longer. Every cocktail was crafted with care and love. Service was incredible and just what we needed. I think we got through most of the main showstopper drinks on the menu. Thank you

upscale chinese on the strip (Palazzo)

By abmilw |

If you want Duck/Pork - order in advance. This is one of 5 or so world wide locations. High quality fresh ingredients. Lots of items to try: meat, chicken, seafood, vegetables. 3 areas in restaurant: bar area, modern/upscale area, and red couch room (that's not official, but my terminology). Wait staff ok, a bit rush-rush, but friendly. Some items similar to Nobu like miso sea bass or black cod. Wish had a bigger group or bigger stomach to try more items. Everything pretty decent. Dressy casual/jeans fine.

Authentic Chinese in Las Vegas

By Foodie_Bakabon |

Chinese restaurant on the Palazzo Casino floor in Las Vegas. We have them in Singapore, Canada, etc., and they are taken care of all over the world. Las Vegas also offers high-level food. I recommend it.

Not Great!

By dellap |

I have been to 5 star and 2 star Asian restaurants. Mott 32 has a number creative dishes, but I couldn't find anything I liked. The two I tried, were either too hot or too sweet. I ending up paying close to 100 usd just to throw everything away.

Make sure you pre-order the Peking Duck.

By Ann0426 |

It’s our 3rd time here through the years but it is our go to place for authentic and gourmet Chinese cuisine. The Peking Duck is a must but order weeks in advance because they can produce only so many. It did not disappoint and their pride and attention to detail is almost ceremonial. We also wanted the Iberico Pork which we’ve experienced 2 years ago but they were sold out and I forgot to place my order weeks ago when needed. The soup dumplings were an explosion of fresh pork and ginger. The fried rice with prawns and Iberico Pork was the tastiest ever. There are so many great options for Asian food but Mott 32 keeps us coming back.

We scored “a duck” . Nessun Punto

By BigFootMidlands |

We were delighted and excited to be able to order the duck entree. Only 2 of us and the waitress advised that it was plenty of food, not to order anything else as it should feed 4. We were embarrassed by the size when it arrived but couldn’t wait to tuck in. They encouraged us to take a photo before the carving began. They served us a small starter portion each which we devoured, by this stage the normal sized adult duck had been returned to the kitchen. It’s almost $150 dollars so we presumed this was to keep it warm. We asked for “more please”. They served us a small plate of bones? Thus of course had to be a mistake? Not according to the manager - that was all that was left, the duck after all was only 48 days old and perhaps we’d never eaten duck before! I asked him to put the duck back together. Where were the legs, the thighs, the wings? The second breast? What a scam!!!!!! This duck was preordered and prepaid .. supposed to feed 4. We left disgruntled, insulted and hungry. If you order it - don’t let it out of your sight.

Great food and Service

By DallasFoodFinder |

Mott 32 does a great job at modern American Chinese food - creative ingredients yet approachable. Even your finicky "I really only like fried rice" friends will have no problem finding something on this menu, and your foodie friends will likewise be delighted. Staff was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. And if you are sitting in the main dining room, the space is beautiful and you won't remember you are in a Vegas casino resort.

Good dinner but be careful

By spktravels |

Service was top notch, friendly and efficient. We preordered the Peking duck which the chef brought to our table and then carved it. While it was very good I have had better in Beijing as well as in a local Chinese restaurant. We had to make the crepes ourselves. They were too small to properly add a reasonable amount of duck. Our server asked us how we would like our left over duck served. We said duck soup. It arrived and was absolutely delicious. However when I received our check I saw that I was charged $40 for the duck soup. This was completely unexpected. In summary good food but overly expensive.

Good food. Average service.

By British Man |

Booked table for 6pm. Didn’t get seated for 15 minutes and no food or drinks for 40 minutes. Menu was less than clear and over priced. Staff were pleasant but seemed more interested in prioritising certain guests. Food was decent but a rip off. Music was more suited to a club than a restaurant. Not impressed.

Great Experience

By GWM160 |

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker who is local to Las Vegas. It did not disappoint. Server provided some great recommendations. Started with some dim sum, followed by shared plates. All around excellent.

Excellent Dining Experience

By Traveler31116474572 |

Joined several friends for dinner at Mott32, made sure to order the duck and pork ahead of time. Excellent meal. Our server, Jason, was on top of everything and gave us some great recommendations. Highly recommend trying the crispy squid, cucumbers, hot and sour soup, and traditional soup dumplings. The duck skin with sugar was *chef's kiss*. The Peking duck and barbecue Iberico pork are mandatory (make sure to pre-order) - these are some of the best dishes I've ever had. Service was excellent, table/dining space were perfect, and was really happy with the wine pairing suggestions we got.

Food was good, but not good enough for the price

By WSUCougFan |

This was easily the most disappointing restaurant experience of our February 2023 Vegas trip. The food was good, but they really are on board with the "Less for More" idea. The a la cart menu was annoying - you literally get nothing extra without paying a large amount of money for each individual side dish and beverage. They couldn't even bother to give free refills on soft drinks. Overall, the food was good, but some was unusual - the crispy beef had an odd texture. And prices were ridiculous, i.e. the market price for the whole King Crab is currently $1100 per plate. Lobster was apparently a steal at only $350 per plate. Obviously, seafood was off the menu for us.

Excellent food and ambience

By Lv2rdtrip |

Mott 32 is a beautiful restaurant with excellent , upscale dim sum and Chinese food. Be sure to order the duck AHEAD of time, as they sell out in advance. The fish was amazing, melted in your mouth and there was this golden garlic put on it.....simply amazing. Good drinks with the best lemon drop I've ever had. Dessert was great too, the lychee sorbet was like eating a fresh lychee. Definitely will return

Great Food - Beautiful Restaurant

By Patty B |

We ate at Mott 32 back in 2019. It was great then and even better this visit. We started with drinks, I had the Forbidden Rose cocktail, delicious and very nicely made with swirling colors and frothy egg whites which I love. WonTon soup was very good as were the dumplings and spring rolls. We shared Tso Chicken which was so flavorful with white rice. We were attending a show at the Venetian Theater, this was so convenient and unrushed. I would recommend this restaurant. We really enjoyed everything.

Delicious Chinese food

By Santan2020 |

I really enjoyed the food that we chose. I enjoyed the fried wok lobster. The lobster is cut up and the pieces of meat are in the shell. They give a pointed tool to dig out the meat. It can get a little messy on the hands. Our server did give us a hot wet towel after our meal to clean our hands. Shanghai noodles was another good choice. I got the beef added to the noodles. The dim sum was very very good. I will go back to this restaurant again. I highly recommend this restaurant. One more thing, the food came out very fast as well.

Wow, wow, wow!

By Jasper R |

I’ll start with the service. Perfect and Personable. No other way to describe it. They made an amazing night even better. Food: where to start. Not a bad dish anywhere. Seriously. It was all mind blowing. But I will offer some serious highlights. Soup Dumplings, Cucumber salad, Wagyu Short Rib and Clay Pot prawns. The panna cotta dessert was sublime. Great cocktails too! Tip/Advice if you want the famous duck or iberico pork you either need to eat early or pre order 48 hours before to be guaranteed. It’s in high demand and they don’t have huge quantities. This is without doubt one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Wonderful restaurant

By Liv |

We had the most amazing meal at Mott32. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was great & the food was absolutely incredible!

Horrible

By Amanda015 |

Had reservations. Seated 35 minutes late. Food was sent to wrong table. Got it an hour later. Had 4 kids who did not eat until 11pm. Worst experience ever.

Great restaurant!

By DutchTraveler020 |

Had dinner at this restaurant and was very happy about the experience. Excellent service, really good wine and tasteful Peking duck (the signature dish) and other dishes. Plus a nice and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Although it’s located at The Venetian it doesn’t feel like another casino hang out. Great restaurant!

Disappointing

By Mike J |

I walked into the restaurant for takeout at 4:45. The rude host informed me that every night they decide if they will do takeout at 5:00? What? I went back at 5:05. The rude host informed me that she needed to check with the bartender. Oh joy! On a Sunday night with no one there, I was graced with their service. $32 for broccoli beef and $15 for hot and sour soup. Got back to my room and the cheap plastic fork tynes broke into the barely cooked broccoli. LOL 80/20 broccoli to beef ratio. I am being generous. The soup was inedible. Never again.

Warning- reserve your duck ahead of time

By Nicole C |

We were so looking forward to our dinner. Made the reservation two months ahead of time and arrived on time. We were going to this restaurant specifically for the Peking duck. We tried to order the Peking crispy duck only to find out that we were supposed to “pre-order” a duck. And, it was suggested that you do that two to three weeks ahead of time. Argh. Apparently it is noted on the website but not noted when you make a reservation or on the online sample menu. Overall the food we had was good, service was good but experience was mediocre because of this.

Wonderful food, terrible service

By ArianneZa |

Excellent food but ,for those kind of prices ,an unforgivable service .probably worth a visit if this episode was just a bad luck.otherwise better to skip it.

Highly recommended

By Robert M |

A friend recommended Mott 32 and am I ever glad he did. The food is excellent. The staff were friendly and very attentive in a non-intrusive manner. Worth a visit.

We loved it!

By Dwight E |

I am by no means a Chinese food expert but know when something tastes good and the food here is very tasty indeed. Services was also excellent. Our waitress was very attentive but not intrusive. She had some great suggestions and intimate knowledge of the dishes. The soup dumplings were delicious as well as the Japanese Kobe Beef A5+ with grilled leaks. The meat was melt in your mouth tender. Note if you want the BBQ dishes order them when you make your reservation because they will sell out! The decor was pleasant with a calming vibe. Nothing good in Vegas is cheap so be prepared $$$.

Weird - movies I think starring

By HonestMcHonest |

Weird - movies I think starring Ida Mae Wong show on walls that I guess are supposed to be like Old Macau - pretty good service - lousy but pricey food

Absolutely Fantastic!

By Leslie S |

We were here with another couple and we were all blown away. First the service was exactly on point. Timing was perfect and suggestions from the server were delicious. Speaking of the food, nothing short of exceptional and I am picky about food. There is nothing but positive to say here. Try the dumplings. Might be my favorite bite in a year. Also the Kung Pao shrimp was perfect. The meal is going to be expensive so be prepared but in my opinion, it was worth every penny and that is highly unusual.

Rude waitress

By Pablo S |

Our waitress Karen was incredibly rude. She was doing faces the whole time and practically threw the utensils on the table. The AC was turne off at about 9 o’clock and they were hurrying us up to leave. I will never come back.

Pricey Chinese in elegant surroundings

By pillowsofwanderlust |

This restaurant has 8 locations worldwide; the Hong Kong outpost was Michelin-starred. The Vegas branch in the Palazzo is very elegant and the menu is expensive. You definitely are paying in part for the ambiance. I had reserved here hoping to order the barbecue Iberico pork. Alas, I did not know it had to be preordered, along with the Peking duck for which the restaurant is famous. So I ended up ordering the Peking style spicy crispy duck rack, which is the hacked up Peking duck carcass, fried with salt, pepper and chilies and served with a soy-chili sauce. It was tasty but of course very bony. No wonder some other reviews mentioned the paucity of meat served with their Peking duck; they repurpose it for others dishes such as mine and a duck fried rice dish as well. To start, I ordered some dim sum--the siu mai with quail egg, Iberico pork and black truffle, and the signature crispy sugar-coated charcoal pork buns. Both were tasty fancied-up versions of traditional and less expensive dim sum. The Yeung Chow style fried rice with shrimp, pork and asparagus was under seasoned. The Australian Wagyu beef in the sautéed string beans was diced so finely its quality could not be discerned. so both of these dishes were not superior to similar ones I've had in far less elegant surroundings. The sweetened mango soup with tofu pudding dessert, however, was very good, especially since I prefer a chilled dessert instead of the warm red bean soup so often served. This restaurant is definitely pricey but oh so elegant. Should I return I would preorder the duck or pork, and there are many other items I'd like to try. Fancy, but surely more authentic than other fancy Chinese places in Vegas like Mr. Chow's.

GREAT SERVICE VERY GOOD MEAL !

By NYJETS69 |

Dinner for 2 at Mott32 , really nicely decorated dining room with a view of a very busy kitchen including ducks slow roasting . The service couldn't have been better , our waitress recommended a reasonably priced bottle of wine and knew the menu well . She helped us pick two delicious apps , the pork buns and the hot & sour dumplings and showed us how to properly eat dumplings . For entrees we got the short ribs and low mein with chicken , both very good , pricey but would go back .

Delicious High End Chinese Cuisine and Anna May Wong slide show.

By Dr Wendell W |

We’ve enjoyed Mott32 in Vancouver, and looked forward to Mott32 in Las Vegas at the Palazzo in the Venetian Complex. The Peking Duck has to be ordered in advance. Beautiful presentation. Very pricey at $138 for just two courses. You have to pay extra for duck fried rice or another dish using your duck. But it was delicious. It was too much for just two of us, so shared it with some other guests. The prawn toast is one of the best we’ve had ~ juicy prawns, hot, crispy toast. The hot and sour Iberico pork soup dumplings were superb. A special touch we really enjoyed were the continuous slide show of old movies showing Anna May Wong. The staff was surprised we knew so much about her. She was the first true Chinese movie star, and not treated well by the movie industry having been passed over for a lead role in t he e Great Earth for a Caucasian actress made to look Asian! The restaurant was beautiful, and the staff very nice. This is definitely a restaurant to go with others to enjoy the wide array of delicious and well prepared foods.

Enjoyed the dinner

By Traveler65 |

We had dim sum here before the pandemic so wanted to try dinner. Reservation (through OpenTable) is a must because of the reduced seating during the pandemic. We also preordered the Peking duck and the Pluma Iberico “char siew” two days previously. Both were great. Also added “swimming” shrimps, garlic fried Dungeness crab and pea shoots. Dessert was milk pudding with sesame paste. Service was excellent.

Jon vs Peking Duck

By Jon T |

This was my first time at this restaurant. After many, many years residing in Asia, I've come to find my Asian Palate and can enjoy subtleties of foods. The MOTT 32 was right on track. The ambiance was superb; the wait staff great (more on this); and the food properly prepared and presented in a truly great manner. One of the best parts of the dining experience was CARMEN, our waitress. She has a most pleasant manner, well versed in suggestions of dishes, and attended to all our needs without having to ask for help. If you're going to eat at the MOTT 32, try to ensure she's your waitress. I made a point of noting her to the management upon our departure. She's the "face" every successful restaurant wants at the one-on-one level with the diners. When we return to Las Vegas, my wife and I will make it a point to dine here again, maybe not the duck again, but other offerings on a generous menu. What a joy this was!

Plan ahead

By julescookz |

We had reservations and had planned on a late evening dinner. So the reason for this review: PLAN and ORDER ahead. There are literally thousands of restaurants in Vegas. This one was in our hotel and is advertising their Peking Duck. Well guess what. You have to order this meal at least 1 day before your reservation or they run out. The service and manager did come out and explain, however we should have been advised when we made the reservation. The small plates we tried were good, just overall left feeling very disappointed.

Take your time and enjoy the unique offerings

By oppyga |

Ambiance, service and food were excellent. Our server made the experience for us explaining the menu and answering our questions. We eat at many fine restaurants. The menu has a lot of variety. My wife and I shared 2 dim sum dishes as starters; the scallops and soup dumplings. For dinner we shared the House Special Iberia Pork, glazed cod, Asian eggplant side (amazing) and white rice.

wow

By drugs 2017 |

what a wonderful experience. Had the Peking Duck that had to be ordered at least 2 days in advance. was wonderful, almost but not quite, as good as any we had in China. the dumplings were outstanding and the general Tsao's chivkenwas unique and the best we have had anywhere. Service was excellent also. we cannot wait to return- and easier to get to than the one in Hong Kong!

Good but won’t go back

By Autumn-2005 |

First visit, the restaurant was on our must try in Vegas list. The ambiance was nice, service was fast, presentation was good. Cocktails were delicious. We ordered an appetizer crispy squid and received sea bass. Waiter apologized for the mistake however noticed that we were charged the higher price for the mistake (almost double). The appetizer was really good however we were disappointed that waiter didn’t adjust for his mistake. My son had broccoli and steak, steak was good. I ordered blackened cod which was ok . Nice restaurant- Probably wouldn’t return though.

Authentic and Exquisite

By Gregory S |

We enjoyed the Peking Duck. It was perfect to share among four people. We also ordered some Dumplings and Brocolini. All three were well prepared. The service was first rate. This restaurant is worth the price.

Authentic High End Chinese Cuisine

By NYTravelerBD |

Our dinner at Mott 32 was one of the most memorable - and best - of my life. The barbecued duck was prepared absolutely perfectly, as was every item that we ordered, including vegetable chow mein, fried squid and Alaskan crab fried rice. The service was excellent and the decor is beautiful. This is a fantastic choice for a special occasion meal and I'd love to return some day.

Duckless

By itdancer |

I guess I expected more. I ordered the duck salad not much duck on it. Also ordered the duck egg rolls again not much duck. I didn't want rhe whole duck as that would be too much. The bill for the 2 items was $35 The music was Too loud for a dinner environment.

Sisters’ Birthday Celebration

By Candi2012 |

My two sisters and I selected Mott 32 to celebrate our January birthdays about a week ago. We were NOT DISAPPOINTED! The food and drink were superb! We ordered waaaay too much, but we wanted to try so many items. To make our dining experience such a delight, we were fortunate to have two exceptional people taking care of us. Valentino was our waiter and Claudia was our busser. Both of them provided impeccable service and we could not have had a better experience! We are recommending Mott 32 to our friends who want a great dining experience the next time they are in Vegas.

Best service and food ever

By Cindy K |

Chance is the most informative waiter I’ve ever met. I’m very picky and have several allergies. He picked my food and it was awesome. There were 6 of us, so we had a variety of foods. All were absolutely fantastic. Mott32 is wonderful.

Absolutely amazing!

By SavTrav500 |

I don't know where to start: 1. Food is amazing! Chef was nominated for James Beard award and should have won. Amazing elevation of classic Chinese food. Smoked black cod was so good our party ordered another plate. Pork bad buns had the most amazing pastry. Creative hot and sour soup dumplings. 2. Service was great: we were not able to get a reservation and ended up seated at the bar. Bar staff was attentive, letting us order from full menu. Selection of cocktails creative and high end wines by the glass. I enjoyed the French burgundy. Pricey, yes but unusual to have this level of wine by the glass. Bar staff amenable to conversation which made for a pleasant evening. 3. Ambience convivial. People at the bar were friendly and our party of 4 were able to sit together because others were friendly and gladly shifted seats.

Great food and great bar staff

By Jennifer C |

Wonderful food. Not over seasoned and amazing flavors. The bar staff were incredible, knowledgeable about everything on menu, jovial, and provided quick service. Worth going to more than once!

Excellent Experience

We have reservations and were seated promptly. Our server team were fantastic, very pleasant and accommodating. Our dinner choices were absolutely fantastic.

Good food at Motts 32 Palazzo

By TX0810 |

Ate her during our vegas trip over the Mlk weekend. Located in the Pallazo casino, Motts 32 Chinese restaurant. Just a note, most restaurants we tried to eat at required a reservation and most were booked at least 2-3 hours for the next seating due to limited capacity, so just a heads up if your really wanted to try a certain restaurant is to reserve it ahead of time. Anyways we got seated and service was good and fast, quick refills and food come out hot and delicious. Ordered seabass and it was great. Only negative id say was they were fast in clearing the dishes as you finish them, seemed weird and rude but i chalked it up to covid and needing it cleaned and sanitized. Pricey but same as the other casino restaurants. Food was good, will probably come again but so many other restaurants to try first.

Avoid at all costs

By VFP |

Do not spend your evening here. The food is awful, and extremely overpriced. (I paid $30 for veggie fried rice with 5 shrimp added). The drinks are also extremely overpriced. The fried rice, chow mein, and pork buns were not good. Go to Morimoto Asia instead.

Really enjoyable

By oren3417 |

This is a high end restaurant. The service is really good as it should be in places like this. The food was so tasty. Everything I took was delicious. I was surprised that total bill was $124 (before tip) and that included 1 bottled of mineral water, 1 cola, 2 starters, 1 main, 1 sidecin, 1 dessert. Very recommended.

Vegan Smoked 'Con'

By aluminimfredo |

My wife and I are not snobby eaters by any means, but when you go to a highly rated restaurant that has $$$$ and a Michelin star chef, you expect a certain level of quality. This November, the Venetian Casino is celebrating 'World Vegan Month' by many of their restaurants introducing special vegan options. We decided to go to Mott 32 because of the interesting options offered. We ordered the vegan, 'smoked cod', which sounded delicious as the options for vegan fish substitutes are less common than chicken or beef. As soon as the waiter brought the dish and removed the lid to unveil our dinner, I knew I had seen this 'cod' before and my suspicions were confirmed after my first bite...this award winning, highly rated restaurant that is led by a 2 star Michelin chef, literally took Gardein fish less filets and dipped them in a hoisin style sauce and charged me $32! They are advertising this as their plant based signature cod and on there site they say, "Mott 32’s food is inspired by honest home-cooking and the regional culinary cuisines of Chinese, but presented in a modern and high-end way." So a $4 bag of Gardein filets qualifies as 'high end'? I found an image of the Gardein filets and decided to show it paired up with the pic of the Mott vegan cod we ordered...something smells fishy!!

Mott 32 expensive and bad!

By Pacozea |

Never come! The worst experience! Everything is ending! They have nothing! Even the desserts run out. The kitchen closes and they care very little! Do not come! There are many Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas and this is the worst experience!

Good food

By IDM |

I would say it's a good/very good restaurant. Nothing WOW to deserve 5 stars but quite good. Dumplings were very good. One of the best I had. On the other hand, main meal like general tso chicken, chicken broccoli etc was good but not sure if worth the price. The wine selection was quite overpriced. They should have better price variety.

Duck is amazing

By Aljosa Camdzic |

We were lucky. We didn't know hou have to reserve duck one week beforehand but ladies at the table next to us gave us their duck, they were full already. The duck was amazing, if you go there the duck is a must!! We had arround 8 courses and 3 deserts at the end and I mus say it was all amazing. Really great food and the service was amazing. Our server was amazing and made our experience even better.

“Fuzz” in my 600$ Lobster Dish

By Joseph G |

We ordered a 588$ lobster dish. For that price point, I would have figured the food would come out hot. I was closer to room temp. On top of that, I pulled a 2 inch long “hair” (staff called it a fuzz) out of my mouth. I ruined the experience. This was our 4th time at the restaurant. I would have thought that the manager would have been more concerned. Our waiter said “the manager will be out shortly, please kindly do not eat any more of the lobster dish until she speaks to you” It took her 17 minutes to come out and call it a fuzz from a dish towel and she would offer a 18$ free dessert. I was greatly disappointed, we 900$ for 2 people with the tip, and I felt sick after pulling this “fuzz” out of my mouth.

Fantastic Experience in Service, Food, Drinks and Wine

By Robert |

The whole experience started with the great follow up with Amber (front desk) and Valerie, prior Group Sales Manager who is helping out during Covid-19. Very professional and courteous in every way. I brought a very special bottle of wine to the restaurant a few hours before dinner while verifying it was not on their wine list. They charged a perfectly normal Corkage fee which allowed me to celebrate a nice dinner with my wife. Raquel Jacobs, the sommelier, did an incredible thing by calling me ahead of time to ask whether I would be ok with decanting the wine before we arrived. I concurred it needed decanting and was impressed she called me in advance to inquire about it. We had a great time talking about wine considering it is a passion of mine. She was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, attentive and engaging the whole evening. I ordered the Peking Duck ahead of time and it was well worth it. If a restaurant serves duck, it is one of my criteria involved in my rating. Mott 32 gets 5 out of 5 just based on its Cantonese style of Peking Duck. But that is not the only reason they get 5 out of 5. Our waitress Carmen was attentive, educational and excellent. Service was fast and all the food was superb. The Soft Quail Egg, Iberico Pork, Black Truffle Siu Mai and the Crispy Sugar Coated BBQ Iberico Pork Bun were both hedonistically great, especially the Crispy Sugar Coated Bun. The menu was long and diverse and anyone could find something they like. We will go back every time we are in Las Vegas.

Good duck

By PaigeT |

Nice Chinese restaurant and it’s famous for its roast duck. The restaurant is dark inside but the decoration is nice. Good for family and you will need to reserve the duck in advance.

Authentic and outstanding food and service.

By EyeCandy C |

I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants all over the world. This place is now top of my list. Salted egg prawns was great! Will always come back every time I’m in vegas. And will make sure to preorder the duck next time!

Evening in good company and with excellent food

By Liz |

Exceptional evening Excellent food The lacquered duck well executed and very tender Maybe if they had given us a little more... Excellent wine list

Tasty!

By Astrid N |

Popped in for cocktails and some dim sum. Robin took great care of us and we loved the drinks. Highly recommend the soup dumplings and siu mai! We will be back!

Glad I gave it another shot..

By RPMCanes |

I tried this place a few years ago and was not really impressed at all. This time around, I rounded up some coworkers who were up for getting the roast Peking duck, and boy am I glad I did. It was scrumptious, as were the dumplings, king crab fried rice and Wagyu string beans. Only issue is that it was extremely dark in there. Next time I'll remember to get a table at the front of the restaurant.

Superb Experience

By RacingGal626 |

My husband and I wanted to try this restaurant inside the Palazzo Las Vegas, as we heard good things about it. From the moment we walked in and were greeted we felt like royalty. Our names were requested, and that is how our server addressed us for the remainder of the dinner. "Mr and Mrs....". The atmosphere makes you believe you're in a city in China in some secret place that only privileged people can go. It is like an indystrial, mysterious alley with interesting light fixtures and old black & white movies played on the wall. Its dark and romantic if you want it to be. There are single private booths off to the side for couples. It is also good for business gatherings as we saw several groups if business men enjoying the wine. The menu is vast. The wine list is even more impressive. Our server, Valentino, was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. He was so attentive and took the time to make sure we were taken care of. We ordered several specialty drinks which did not disappoint. The "It's 5'o clock in Hong Kong" and "The Hanami" which our server recommended. The Hanami is pictured here. Flavors out of this world! The $18 per drink price was well worth it. I would have ordered more but didn't want to get too intoxicated to enjoy my dinner! Exotic flavors and hand crafted ingredients. The food was more than excellent. You can tell the chefs care about the taste and presentation. We started by sharing the Shrimp wonton soup. The flavor of the meat in the wonton was so good. My husband ordered the Stir Fried Shangainese Noodles and requested both beef and pork which the chef was able to accommodate. I had the Wok Fried flat noodles with black Angus beef and bean sprouts. That is my go-to dish and it far surpassed that of any other Asian restaurant. Portions are sizeable. We finished off with some hot tea. No room for dessert! We will definitely be going back to Mott 32 the next time we are in Vegas.

Terrible communication with their reservation and poor customer oriented attitude

By VShell16 |

We pre-orderered their peking duck from their website 5 days ahead and received a confirmation email of our 8pm reservation. We checked in at 7 PM and confirmed our reservation for the Peking duck in which they said yes. We waited until 8PM to be seated when the waitress told us the Peking Duck was all sold out. They said the note is only an indication that we “requested” but not an indication that we will get it. No where on their website or confirmation said that we would not guaranteed to receive our meal. The waitress kept finding excuses. Finally, it escalated to have the manager come over and he showed no apology and sympathy, acting like it was not a big deal and kept on finding excuses. Left the place empty stomach. Their operation, service and poor communication of this place earned them this bad review!

Liars and Thieves

By Brent C |

This place is shady AF. Someone on staff stole my bag, the restaurant denied it, and we used the Find My Phone app to show them it was still in the restaurant. Then the manager miraculously finds it like it was just sitting there the entire time. Even security knew this was a common thing to happen. Liars and thieves.

Great food

By Trudyhiggy |

Really nice restaurant, friendly staff and great food. My husband said it’s the best Chinese food he has ever had! Was very good food, good service, if anything each course was brought out a bit to quick, felt a bit like they wanted you to eat then get you out quick! We actually expected the bill to have been a bit more so was pleasantly surprised! Would recommend anyone to go here when in Vegas, especially as a lot of fried food restaurants!

Enjoyable evening

By BexyQ |

The service was exceptional. Most of the food was amazing. And the wine was great too. When the waiter tries to persuade you out of ordering the chilli chicken dish, listen! It was ridiculous. But the rest of the food was outstanding.

Stunning Food in a glorious room

By Michael U |

Opened in December 2018, and quickly making a name for itself as one of Las Vegas’ premier Chinese Restaurants, Mott 32 began the new year with an all-you-can eat Brunch available from 11am until 2pm every Sunday. Deemed “bottomless,” with a “free-flow beverage package” available for $35 supplement, it is inside the Joyce Wang-designed space that guests are invited to take seats amidst 11,400 square feet of luxury, murals and gold-threaded wall coverings even more opulent in the daylight while a trained violinist keeps pace with classic and contemporary music. A glorious and multifaceted expanse, with service led by Nathan Grates all but guaranteeing guests a wonderful experience, it is after perusing some thirty items that diners are invited to self-select or defer to servers, though no matter which route is chosen all are encouraged to begin with the Dim Sum sampler comprised of King Prawn Har Gow, delicate South Australian Scallop Dumplings, Iberico Pork Buns and an umami-packed Turnip Cake. Cutting no corners on the $58-per-person menu, though two items were oddly unavailable throughout the Brunch’s third week, it was while sipping a Sparkling Sake Cocktail that three Soups arrived, the Sweet Corn containing an impressive amount of Crab Meat while Hot & Sour as well as Wontons in clear Consommé built around Shrimp. Adding Fried Wontons and Marinated Cucumber, the latter ideal for cleansing the palate between more unctuous bites, fans of Pork will be delighted by slices of Belly with crisp Skin, though when considered next to Barbecue Pluma Iberico Pork scrambled with Eggs and Black Truffle or Sweet & Sour Loin with Dragonfruit the choice of which to eat the most of becomes difficult. Back to Prawns, both Bean Curd Rolls and Cheung Fun successful in their traditional approach, suffice it to say that Mott 32’s Prawn Toast is nothing short of dazzling in terms of texture and taste while Shanghainese Noodles with housemade Scallion Oil and Fried Rice also benefit from the kitchen’s attention to detail. Entirely waiter service, glasses of Moët & Chandon Champagne or fragrant Aurora Cocktails replenished as necessary with guests never needing to wait at a Buffet line, tongues will definitely need cooling after a plate of Cold Free-Range Chicken or Poached Pork Dumplings, and less-so for lightly tempura’d Tofu. Not offering the signature Applewood Peking Duck at Brunch, but adding an ample amount of shredded Flesh to Rice Vermicelli Soup, two additional highlights are the Pan Fried Glutinous Rice Cake, or for those less adventurous cubes of tender Short Ribs in rich gravy surrounding a fried ball of creamy Potatoes. Toqued by Chef Alan Ji, and attuned to Las Vegas’ unique landscape that necessitates accessibility for Americans alongside people hailing from different parts of China, Desserts are distinct but identifiable whether one favors the sweetness of Guava Pudding, subtlety of Water Chestnut Rolls or Donut-like deliciousness of Fried Rice Balls with Pumpkin Paste. FIVE STARS: Those who’ve been to Mott 32 know it is good, albeit expensive, yet for all the love of Spring Mountain Road none of the Asian spots there are serving Iberico Pork or Dayboat Scallops, let alone Truffles and Wagyu. And with the new 11a-2p Sunday Brunch the Venetian stunner offers an impressive array of made-to-order plates for just $58 and all you care to enjoy, complete with live music in a truly gorgeous room.

High End Chinese

By MDDdolphin |

Located in the Palazzo, there is no charge for parking unlike most other Strip properties now. The interior is beautiful with several dining areas that vary in style. Ambient noise permitted comfortable table conversation. We allowed our server to suggest appetizers for the table and were pleased with the very tender BBQ pork and soup dumplings. Our fish entrees were expertly prepared, moist and tasty with subtle sauces. Service was appropriately attentive. Be prepared for a bit of price shock, particularly if you compare to what you might expect to pay for similarly identifiable dishes from neighborhood restaurants. Recognize that the preparations and ingredients here are of higher quality and you are on the LV Strip. Mott certainly compares favorably to other high end Asian restaurants in the casinos. We will return.

A Huge Disappointment -I reserved

By edie |

A Big Disappointment-I reserved Mott 52 for my Vegas trip after hearing a rave review from a colleague about the Peking Duck, one of my favorite dishes. I reserved 10!days before arrival, and there was NO notification on their site, in the reservation confirmation or on the menu that they make ONLY 26 Peking Ducks per night, and that in order to get one, it had to be pre-ordered the day before. The manager attempted to make amends, but there is no substitute for the item which is supposed to be their signature, which they have pictured in every elevator in the Venetian and Palazzo hotels, and can’t figure out how to provide to their guests. The mewl they provided was ok, but it was not the reason I went, and until (or unless) they get their act together, I won’t be back

Wait for them to get their act together

By BillLongBeach_CA |

Don't go there yet. Give them another few months to get their act together. 1) First, and most importantly, there is a huge architectural problem with this restaurant which seriously diminishes the experience. The front, bar/lounge area, where they have placed a large number of dining tables, is open to the casino, separated only by decorative ropes. If they seat you in the bar area, ask to be reseated in the main dining room. If they can't reseat you, just leave. We did not. This was our biggest mistake. The bar area is wide open to the casino. Wide open. Lights, noise, lots and lots and lots of smoke. Here are words you do not want to hear at the end of dinner, which were spoken by one of my companions: "Ok! I've reached the limit of my cigar and cigarette smoke tolerance, let's go!". The restaurant really, really must wall off the lounge area if they intend to seat dining customers there. It is an unacceptable eating experience if you are seated in the lounge area. They have to change this if they are going to succeed. Period. 2) We ordered three items off the BBQ menu and one off the vegetable menu. NONE were available. Not. One. No Peking duck. No pork anything. No pea tips. So they have supply chain problems, and need to get on top of that. If they do not have their signature dishes then...?? So, we ordered other stuff. It was fine. PF Chang's fine. But fine. 3) Quote: " I'm sorry we don't have any Peking duck tonight, but we are known for our dumplings". You are not known for anything until you prove yourselves. The soup dumplings were ok but if you want dim sum right now in Las Vegas, just get off the strip and go to anywhere in Chinatown. 4) There was enormous confusion among the host/hostess staff on check-in, as others have noted here. We had a reservation. We were early. We were seated 40 minutes after arrival to a table that had been vacant the whole time, in a sea of vacant tables that had also been unoccupied the entire time. So they haven't worked out their system yet. No one offered us a drink. No one came to check on us. We went up to the bar and got good service there. This was all in the smoke filled bar area as noted above. 5) the current wine list is unapproachable: cheap but good stuff at a 200%+ markup, or really expensive but not worth it 'show off to my girlfriend' stuff. I'd recommend to the manager that you model your wine list off any other establishments with a following on the strip like STK or even the Zen at the Waldorf Astoria to better hit your market. With all the negatives there were some bright spots. Excellent bartenders. Avoid the specialty cocktails and juts order some classics and you'll be happy. Excellent secondary staff--the folks who bring out the food, clear the plates and keep bringing the water. They were great. Overall though a big disappointment. I'd chalk it all up to new restaurant syndrome except for the huge problem of seating diners with reservations in the smoke filled lounge. The restaurant suffers from its location open to the casino. If you're eating at the Venetian choose anywhere on Restaurant Row over this place unless they change their physical plan.

}: Over Price {:

By toto l |

It is one of the elegant Chinese restaurant also over price restaurant in Vegas , located inside the Venetian Resort , my last visit was March 11 2020 not impressed at all , now in 2021 nothing change , now so pricy , decor is fabulous and elegant , it is for four of us for Xmas dinner , and truly is most expensive dinner I pay in Vegas , I am in the restaurant business and hospitality field over 50 years , for high end Chinese dish 100% for sure you will not find it here , the price is double or triple what you get in another Chinese restaurants , okay if the quality is good , but Mott32's dishes very average , not a place for Asian people to dine in , how can you charge a 3 pound lobster for $430 ! unacceptable price , a 42 days aged duck for $188 , very disappointed to say dinner so so , every thing not justify the price , closed to $1,5000 , I am a Piza Gold member , I have no problem to pay the bill , there is a lot of competing choices in Vegas for $1,500 , but it is not a bad place to try it out , but stay away from the seafood dishes , over all to me Mott 32 just Meh ! you pay you don't get !

Extremely rude hostess. Not worth the money.

By Jillian S |

To put it simply, the hostess left an extremely bad taste in my mouth even prior to arriving for our reservation. Not only was this for my fathers 60th birthday but it was the day after my wedding where we wanted to celebrate and have dinner. From the moment the hostess answered the phone until I decided to hang up on her due to her speaking over me, I knew that this was going to be an unpleasant experience. If it wasn’t last minute I would have cancelled altogether. Whoever she was wasn’t accommodating at all regarding my bridal party who sat a few tables across the restaurant from my husband and I. Not sure as to why they wouldn’t sit us next to each other, like every other restaurant we went to that week. My family and I own a restaurant... it’s not that hard. Especially if we were told it’s for a wedding party. Covid or not.. I’d think you’d be accommodating. Everyone else was. Hostess simply didn’t care and it was obvious. To be honest, If it wasn’t my wedding weekend, she would have gotten a big taste of it herself from me. She got lucky. Not sure what was going on with the kitchen. For a Saturday night in Vegas they didn’t have MORE than one thing we had wanted to order. The server came back 3 times to tell us they were out of it. That was disappointing. The busser was cleaning and wiping down the table as we were still sitting there. Made us feel like we were being rushed to leave. Definitely was not worth the $1,000 we spent as a family. We were supposed to go to Mr. Chow but they were closed. This was definitely the worst alternative. We won’t be back.

good but not outstanding

By Lifou T |

Having been to Mott 32 in Hong Kong a few years ago, I was looking forward to visiting the LV one. It definitely wasn't as good as its Asian counterpart. Food was average - the black cod standing out (but in a negative sense) among the dishes we ordered.

Disappointing

By Chuck S |

We went there to have the duck and they were completely out of the duck and all BBQ items. We ordered some pork buns and they were out of those also. We tries some dumplings, which were boring, as well as the sauce. We also ordered the duck spring rolls which were nearly empty, had no flavor and were over cooked. The service was poor and the waitress had no interest in how our experience was. I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant, especially since we planned our evening around this reservation.

unexpected Brunch alternative !

By stephespinoza |

Always looking for a new brunch experience we happened upon this and were pleasantly surprised ! the setting is fabulous in the well designed dining room, waitstaff dressed to the nines were very attentive and kept the bottomless sparkling wine flowing ( paid extra for but worth the price ) All asian dishes in a brunch setting - we are lucky to have found this place. We were delivered a dimsum platters individually - with great presentation : Gold leaf and caviar topped one of the dumplings, a black bun was filled with barbecue pork and the chive dumpling topped it off - tasted as good as it looked . After the first course we ordered off of a menu from different categories – seafood, meat, soups and vegetables and desserts . A strolling violinist kept up with the DJ spinning in the front room - music was great. The Shanghainese menu was authentic and varied. Would go back again ... not your typical shrimp cocktail and standard fare brunch . Recommend !

Terrible service

By Anish |

Hey so the service and the experience was no good and it’s not an award winning restaurant by any standards very dissatisfied in the service The waiters are not experienced and quite rude and couldn’t handle taking orders Then orders starters did not clear the table yet brought all the mains out no space on table left the dirty plates on the table and was no space to eat Had to complain to manager then he re did everything but it something not needed I would not recommend and definitely will not be going again

Fantastic Fusion Flavours

Visited twice last week on business. Enjoyed both visits and the mix of dishes on offer. Dim Sum was excellent. Service excellent. Really enjoyed the shin of beef and battered sole.

Forget about trying the duck

By Jose H. |

Of all the restaurants in Las Vegas we decided to try Mott 32 while staying at the Venetian because of the much hyped up Peking Duck. However, unless you pre-ordered this thing 2 days prior you can forget about it. Since we missed out, the server suggested that we try the duck spring rolls, unfortunately they were rather greasy. In fact, all the food was. The food left a lot to be desired. Too bad, it’s a beautiful restaurant.

Headed to the Strip to try their Dim Sum & Drink Some Happy Hour - and it was impressive! Be sure to google the history of the name of the restaurant too.

Top Chinese Food - Out of this World!

By Deborah H |

The ambience, service and food at this restaurant are all stellar. We were welcomed as honored guests and provided with complimentary champagne, an appetizer and dessert. Their food is unbelievably wonderful, I have never tasted duck salad as good as they prepared it. As they have an extensive tea list, a staff member came over to carefully explain all the wonderful choices. The service was terrific, with multiple members of the their serving team making sure we were happy at all times. It was a dining experience we will never forget.

Go for drinks, at least!

By Manasvi K |

Quick service, good food and drinks!! Good ambience. I went there just for dessert and drinks but would like to go back for the chinese food!

Enjoyed My Meal at Mott32

By ManhattanWilliam |

Overall, the atmosphere is lively and I found myself comfortably seated at the bar. Listening to the conversations of the weekend guys picking up the weekend girls was enormously entertaining. As to my meal, I started with the pumpkin and scallop soup. I liked the flavor of the soup but I think it would have been better without the scallops that didn't improve upon the flavor. For my main I had the "house special" black cod which had the flavor and sticky consistency of Chinese roast pork. It was delicious. Overall, a very nice and satisfying meal.

Dim Sum Awesomeness

By pq1 |

Great restaurant and beautiful ambiance. Soup dumplings were great. Sweet pork buns were good but the star was the triple cooked waygu beef. So yummy! Highly recommend this place if you want great Asian food.

Great service and dessert!

By Linda W |

A beautiful restaurant and our service was prompt and unobtrustive. Loved the rice noodles with Wagu beef chunks and the sea bass. Our dessert of coconut ice cream with frozen grapefruit topping was luscious.

Homage to 32 Mott Street

By Wanderlust |

We went here for the dim sum and it was worth the trip from our hotel. The pork buns stole the show, we ordered a second helping. I ordered the marinated cucumbers based on a TA review and I ordered a second helping of those as well! The dragon ball jasmine tea was a great accompaniment to the meal. At the recommendation of our waiter, we ordered the entrees and shared them as they were big enough for our party of four. There isn’t a large selection of dessert. We tried the Bamboo Green Forest which could be compared to a frozen key lime pie. The atmosphere here is an experience on its own. The decor was fun, we were lucky enough to get a booth with a privacy curtain. The bathrooms were well maintained. The wait staff were extremely attentive. Tip - If you want to order the Peking Duck, reserve it while making your reservation. It sells out quickly, along with the pork belly.

Very disappointing experience, terrible service

By Bill |

We were celebrating our anniversary. The manager, hostess and waiter were all made aware. The waiter came to take our drink orders 25 minutes after he gave us the menu. We were almost finished our appetizers and the wine still hadn’t arrived. We asked the waiter who rudely answered that the sommelier was busy serving other tables. 5 min later, after we were finished our appetizers, our white wine came.. it was WARM. We asked for the manager who said there must be something wrong with the cooler thermostat. We had the Peking duck which was excellent but were served 2 tiny portions. When I looked up the rest of the duck was being brought back and we never saw the rest of it. We were offered 2 desserts which they charged us for! They did however take them off the bill when we told them. Instead of making our anniversary special, it was beyond disappointing and extremely subpar. The service was terrible and we felt ripped off with the Peking duck.

They could do better

By brett l |

Service was great, atmosphere was great, but our Peking Duck was okay and everything else was just fine. Expected more for the price.

Highly over rated ... very pricey very average food experience and cage like atmosphere

By holly h |

This was a highly over rated asian restaurant. We saw that the restaurant was voted best in vegas two years in a row so we really wanted to try it. The soup dumplings and pork buns were very good but otherwise the food was average , drinks were odd and it was super expensive for what we got. i also did not find it the most elegant atmosphere ... it is like sitting in a cage in the casino with loud club type pop music in background . I can say we would never go back ... I do NOT recommend

Underwhelmed

By Mel |

We went to Mott for drinks and appetizers. The bartenders were great and lovely. We had a couple apps that were average and what you would get at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant. All the duck and barbecue has to be ordered at least two days in advance. Restaurant is beautiful inside but the food as not impressive.

Balance of Flavor

By RGK23 |

What a great dining experience. Totally loved the hip sophisticated industrial interiors. We went early for happy hour. The baby octopus salt and pepper was crisp, juicy and tender. But their hot sour 'xio long pao' was definitely a treat. What a great take off the traditional soup dumpling. The skin was nice and thin and the burst of spicy sour soup followed by that morsel of meat...yum. For dinner, their specialty, 42 day old Peking duck was tender and juicy. The skin crispy and fat nicely rendered off. A sprinkle of brown sugar on the skin, hoisin and the thin light Mandarin pancake was such a great taste of sweet and savory. The smoked fried black cod with soy was also another favorite. Such a balance of flavors, the smoke and sweetness from the soy over lightly fried but crisp fillets. Light coated so the sauce doesn't over power. It was truly and enjoyable evening and will definitely go back.

Wow…absolutely incredible

By JMM |

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a month now. Our visit to this restaurant was one of the big highlights of our Vegas trip. The service from Iven was top notch. He steered us in all the right directions and gave us his honest opinions. The Sommelier Kyle, was incredibly helpful and walked us through the wine menu to the perfect choice at a great price. I ended up buying a few bottles once I got home because we loved the wine he chose so much. The iberico pork- wow. That was my favorite dish of the evening. Iven perfectly paired other dishes so we would get a well rounded menu experience. We loved this restaurant so much that we made reservations for our family arriving the next week. They went on and on about how great their experience was with a special thanks to Iven and Kyle. Thank you to the entire team at Mott 32 for making our anniversary visit so special and memorable. We will be back!

Excellent I recommend

By Maxxi71 |

I would say the level of Chinese that you can hardly taste is a very pleasant surprise We took various pitti noodles, spicy chicken and delicious duck Prices in line with wines around 120 USD but it's worth it

Disappointing after hype

By Robert S |

I should say first that the service was impeccable. For that they deserve credit. I had the deep fried prawns. They tasted as though it was time to change the oil. I found that hard to believe. My elderly mother ordered a lobster. It came broken down and re-assembled to look like a lobster, which was cool but the shell was covered in some kind of sauce which made it very difficult to handle. The real sin however was that it was under cooked. She's not a complainer but I could see my mother was disappointed. All together a pretty major let down. If we consider the price, which you really can't, you know it's ridiculous going in, highway robbery.

Fabulous dinner at Mott 32

By hedgefamily |

We had a fabulous meal at Mott 32 in Las Vegas. The setting and atmosphere were great, the service really good and most importantly the food was wonderful. Really wide choice of food and the server was very helpful in helping us choose what and how much to order. Separate gluten free menu had good choice as well.

AMAZING

By Fred L |

We saw some chef friends had visited here and knew if they were there and loved it we would have to try it ourselves. Whenever we go to Las Vegas we plan our dinners and make reservations ahead of time so we are sure to have wonderful dining experiences. We ate here our first night and at the end of the meal we made reservations to go back again and canceled at another place. We have NEVER don that before.

Pricy but exceptional

By Michael U |

Opened in December 2018, and quickly making a name for itself as one of Las Vegas’ premier Chinese Restaurants, Mott 32 reintroduced Brunch for the first time since 2020 on Sunday with an all-new format. A “bottomless” affair pre-pandemic, now instead offering dinner items alongside authentic Cantonese breakfast dishes a la carte, it is inside the Joyce Wang-designed space that guests are invited to take seats amidst 11,400 square feet of luxury, murals and gold-threaded wall coverings even more opulent in the daylight. A glorious and multifaceted expanse, with educated servers all but guaranteeing guests a wonderful experience, it is after perusing some thirty items that diners are invited to choose “Fire” or “Ice” Cocktails including the likes of creamy Gin-spiked Tea or a citrusy Tang-Tang featuring Tequila and Szechuan Coconut Crunch. Still featuring classics such as the 42-day Peking Duck, available as part of a Salad or on its own at a fraction of the nightly cost, favorites such as marinated Cucumbers and various Dim Sum styles come executed at a high level with Spicy Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings well-deserving their signature status. Cutting no corners on Ingredients or upgraded décor it was while sipping a Champagne that delicate Cheung Fun arrived alongside piping-hot Sweet Corn Soup containing an impressive amount of Crab Meat. Next bringing the heat with Szechuan Style Pork Dumplings, adequately reined in by a fragrant “Lai-Chee” or hard-hitting Lucky 8 "Shot,” fans of Noodles will find the Lo Mein springy amidst lightly applied Soy before perfectly cooked Brassicas lead up to delicate Desserts in both solid and liquid form.

Birthday Celebration

By happyfamily4680 |

Chose this restaurant as it had good reviews and we wanted a quality Chinese meal. The menu was limited and very expensive. It was delicious however and we enjoyed what we had but we were served very quickly and had little time to enjoy the ambience before they brought us the check. I know they have service times and were very busy but we had made a reservation and waited ages to be seated but then felt rushed throughout dinner.

Birthday roasted Duck Dinner

By Diane E |

We are local Vegas people and always looking for best restaurant. My So took me to Mott 32 for my birthday dinner. You do need to make reservations especially,if you order duck which we did . Servers were great and everyone was so attentive- Duck was amazing and they will carve it right there- if you want the whole duck you just have to ask -other wise you only get the prime carve meat served with Chinese pancakes and cumbers sliced onion w/sauce we also had side dish of rice We would go again as service was 5 star as well as meal

Outstanding

By Karen T |

We were invited to Mott 32 for a business event and stayed for dinner. At the event we enjoyed appetizers of Wagyu beef, spring rolls and dumplings. For dinner dishes of Iberico pork, lobster, beef short rib, grilled shrimp and more.nothing was left. The flavours outstanding. The service complimented the food and experience. If you have the budget highly recommend you take the time to check it out.

Delicious food!

By mac1005 |

First time here and the food was delicious! I would definitely visit again. Staff amazingly attentive and restaurant very clean. Food was hot, fresh, and came out quickly. Highly recommend!

High expectations, low actual results.

By DrJS |

The food quality is generally average and uneven. The service must be of a poor level! Our waitress made a mistake with our order, but she showed no sign of apologizing at all. When we finished all the other dishes, we had to wait an unpleasantly long time. The correct dishes took more than 30 minutes to appear. This restaurant seems to use high prices to make gimmicks to attract customers, but service and quality are their secondary considerations. I don't think this business model will last long.

Loved!! get the roast pork

By Lamururira |

I had been to the Mott 32 in Hong Kong and loved it, made sure to visit the one in Vegas. While it's not as stunning as the one in HK the food and service as just as great. The roast pork which my husband reserved when making the reservation was worth the visit alone. The option is the Peking duck or the roast pork... I don't love duck, but this pork melts in your mouth!! Everything we ate was tasty and all the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. There was traffic on the strip and we were running late and called and the hostess was super gracious. I highly recommend.

Great Spot on the Strip for an Experience

By Jill S |

Last minute reservation, no problem. Taxi dropped us at the wrong door, no problem. Two non-adventurous eaters, no problem. One non-meat eater, no problem. Great food, great atmosphere, fun to hang out with good drinks and great service. #getthemockmeat #dimsum #happybirthday

Wish we could eat here everyday!

By RoverTrex |

The restaurant is easy to access within the Venetian and is a great place to eat before an Eagles concert in the Sphere (twice - check!). The atmosphere is amazing it is like you are walking into a china town setting but all within a restaurant - including the "back alley" that leads to the restrooms. This time we were lucky enough to sit next to the Peking Duck room - amazing to watch the extensive number of chefs involved with that one entree and their attention to detail. Best General Tso's Chicken anywhere!!! Amazing unique options like the salt and pepper Sea Bass and Chinese broccoli that is off the charts. Exceptional service from a team of highly skilled staff. It is on the pricer side but we have never found another Asian restaurant that is better anywhere we have traveled. If you have reservations the wait time is very minimal and gives you time to take in the ambiance.

Got to try Mott 32, shame we didn’t try it sooner

By Kelly B |

Last night and we fancied something special so thought we’d try Mott 32 To be honest I thought it was going to be a bit poncy and fussy and over priced Very surprised the service was excellent our server Teaoni was wonderful, she took time out to explain the food to us and recommended an amazing desert Didn’t feel out of place here at all, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and had we tried it sooner we would have been back The cocktail I had “5 o’clock in Hong Kong” was lush and very potent The dim sum we had spring rolls and pork buns, we weren’t sure what to expect from the buns, but they were out of this world as were the spring rolls We then had the Yeung Chow rice and sweet n sour pork, there was loads of it and again gorgeous Teaoni recommended the desert and got me with coconut ice cream, my favourite and it was amazing Cannot recommend this place enough 10/10

Disappointing

By Lily G |

We went to Mott 32 for a U2 pre-show dinner, the restaurant is included in the package so paid in advance. They are aware of the start time of the concert and the timing we have to eat, so the meal is a single U2 pre-show menu with a succession of several dishes. Between the reservation and the meal, several weeks passed, we received during this period 5 emails confirming the date and asking about allergies, we responded each time that one of the people does not eat gluten. When we arrived, the waitress asked us again about allergies, we told her again. The dinner began without problem then an interminable wait of more than an hour during which the waitress came to see us several times to tell us that the dish was arriving but the wait continued. When the dish finally arrives, we call on the waitress to explain that we did not have the previous dish planned on the menu, she tells us that as there is gluten and one person does not eat it, they have decided to remove it for all guests (they send you 5 emails but are not able to plan a replacement dish in advance, or to serve at least non-allergic people so you wait 1 hour for nothing in the end, little their it doesn't matter anyway you have already paid, you are tourists so they don't plan to see you again in their restaurant and as you have a tight schedule so as not to miss the start of the concert and with this interminable wait you have very little left of time, they know that in an emergency you will be satisfied with it). And during the waitress's explanations, another waiter brings this famous dish containing gluten which should have been served before so you end up with all the dishes at the same time. Then comes dessert, 1 plate with 1 scoop of ice cream...for 2 people. The chef defines himself as "the future of Chinese cuisine", if the future of Chinese cuisine comes down to that, we will eat Italian, definitely Italian!

Party of 12

By Jerard77 |

We enjoyed minced duck w/ lettuce cup, s & s pork, general tao's chicken, prawn stir fried noodle, yeung chow rice, fish filet mandarin in broth, hot & sour soup dumplings, and pork buns. Our server Valentino made excellent recommendations and yet wasn't pushy. We very much enjoyed the food and the service from Valentino made our experience even better. We look forward to returning to Mott 32!

Do not order Abalone and Sea Cucumber

By William C |

While staying at Venetian, we had dinner at Mott 32, and since it is touted as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the US, we assumed that they could prepare the subject seafood well. By writing this review we hope others would not make the same bad choices as we did. Abalone and sea cucumber are classic Chinese seafood but it is laborious to cook them well. For them to be tasty, they have to be cooked with many other natural ingredients the flavors of which get absorbed. The braised South African Abalone that we ordered was hard in texture and tasted nothing but the oyster sauce. The Chef has to bear in mind that MSG is an ingredient of oyster sauce and artificial taste cannot replace the flavors of natural ingredients. The same goes true with the braised whole Japanese sea cucumber that we had. The oyster sauce could not mask the blankness of the sea cucumber. These two dishes alone cost $166, a far cry from their qualities. In making these dishes half-heartedly, Mott 32 is doing a disservice to its reputation. We also had hot and sour soup dumplings and snow pea tips. The former was good but the latter was too oily. We ended our dinner with black sesame in boiled egg white which was superb. Overall, a disappointing evening and a let down of an otherwise pleasant stay at Venetian.

Stunning Chinese Cuisine at Mott 32

By Peter S |

As always Mott 32 never fails to impress. Perfectly balanced dishes served by attentive and helpful staff made for a very pleasant evening again. This is one restaurant in Vegas that stands out for its incredible point of difference in offereing beautiful Chinese food in a wonderful ambiance.

Top Restaurant

By Dirkk |

Very tasty food combined with a beautiful interior and good service. Ordered Peking duck a little too late, last time it was also good.

Authenticity available across the globe

By Malc |

Mott32 was a pleasant surprise. As someone who spent half his life living in Hong Kong, I wasn't sure of what to expect walking in. I was knocked out of the park. The flavours were highly authentic. I presume this is to cater to the sizeable Asian consumer base that visit Las Vegas. They did a great job of representing Hong Kong tastes. We ordered a few dishes, but the lobster mapo tofu and the crispy rice in fish soup stole the show. Highly memorable. The ambience was pleasing as well; the decor was enjoyable to be a part of. The service was very warm as well. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant!
