Climb the mountain!

By jjarvis |

Dive into this incredible buffet 10 bucks. 5star I love Indian, and they do it really great here, and you cannot beat the price. Small place in the ghetto, sahara and valley view, not too ghetto, but still, its not pretty on this corner, but inside, you forget about it quick when you start salivating at the door, and running to the buffet like a wild animal ready to eat yourself silly. Take a breath, its ok, this place will give you everything you need. Every indian spice is in something, the quality and freshness is stellar! Hightly recommended, just see the other reviews, dont take my word for it, try it and take you own word, its amazing!

Some of the Best Indian Cuisine I've ever had

By jiff3 |

Service was great, food was fantastic. Tell you the truth, it was the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent Indian food

By Jay L |

This is some of the best Indian food we have had, excellent spices and tastes. The service was good and they took care of us well. Highly recommend this place.

Not sure how it got 4 rating.

By sanju_222323 |

Might be I was there at the wrong time (Wednesday afternoon). I am an Indian and know very well how Indian food tastes. It was not even 2 star worthy food. Right from the beginning, everything was just okay or bad except Punjabi Kadhi. I don’t believe reviews of Indian restaurants by non-Indian cause their taste and our taste of Indian food is different. Chicken tandoori- it was rubbery and feel like yesterday food. Chicken chilly- it was rubber pieces which I did not eat at all. I cook much better chicken chilly than this Palak Paneer- by look it was like nobody touched it for days. Pakode was good. Mutton was tasteless. How can you cook mutton tasteless? Hardly a thing or two out of 20 things, I liked. Same goes for dessert. In fact, I ate lots of oranges. Service was again very slow, server did not fill up the water frequently or took our used plates. Again not sure how it got good rating across platforms.

Good food

By Chiranjibi P |

Great Nepalese/Indian cuisine. Lunch Buffet was highly satisfying. We tasted variety of food items in the affordable price. Highly recommend.

Average

By Paul R |

They do not have Buffet and food is average. Not to the level of expectation. Veg Biryani was just mixed with yellow colored rice.

Go for the food not the atmosphere

By Simply S |

Some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Got the eggplant and tandoori chicken. Loved the Indian MTV while we ate! Staff was pleasant and polite.

Best Indian Food in Vegas

By Prateek C |

The restaurant is lil bit away from the strip but it is totally worth it. If you love Indian cuisine, you have to be here. The staff and manager are uber friendly and you'd want to be here again.

Very Good Indian Food... Service may be weak point

By alsterling |

We were not extremely hungry. I ordered the chicken Tandoori tiki, (hope I got that right... as I don't have my handy-dandy Asian Indian food guide close by...) and my wife, ordered the okra, which comes with basmati rice. We also ordered garlic nan, and for a specialty beverage, the mango lassi; a mango-yogurt drink. I'll say up front; "Everything was very good, and the mango drink was very much like what we drink, Brasilian style, mixing papaya, mango or passion fruit, with various forms of yogurt, ice cream, or condensed milk. I bet I've passed this place twenty five times over the past few years when in Vegas on business. The building is old looking, near the bus stop at the front of an older strip center, and in an older section of West Vegas. But once you walk inside, see a relatively nice interior, and see the many regulars we saw, you're probably going to have the same high level of confidence we had. While service is stereotypical-etchnic restaurant-slow and spotty......... the food does deliver. It will never be as good as homemade, if you cook Indian at home, but then, as a Brasilian family, we rarely find stateside restaurants that meet our standards. That's to be expected. But having enjoyed Indian cuisine over the years, I'm comfortable recommending this restaurant. I've added Mt. Everest to my "black book" of off-strip restaurants. If it's good enough for the many Indian clients I saw there tonight, then I'm sure it'll be good enough for you. Remember that Indian clients could go anywhere in town, but there was a good number of couples and foursomes dining in tonight. This alone told us it must have passed their test for authentic and good-enough-food/preparation quality to compete with their own home cooked meals. So as they say in Vegas....... "I'm in......" at least for this Indian restaurant.

Dinner for 11

By pradeep p |

Normally we don't go for an Indian meal when on holiday but, my wife's brother-in-law thought it would be nice as mum & dad were with us. Checked Tripadvisor and Mount Everest received good ratings. We didn't make a reservation, On arrival it took them a few minutes to get the tables organised. The waiters did not complain about rearranging the tables. Once seated, we ordered soft drinks & then proceeded to order starters and the main courses. Ordered a mixture with rice, naan bread + roti. Starters took about 10 minutes to arrive which were devoured pretty quick. Main courses arrived after 15 minutes. All the food was well cooked and were very tasty and full of flavour. Only had to order an extra naan. Overall, the food was excellent. The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. The restaurant had a mixed customer base from business people to families. If you are in Las Vegas & want to try an Indian restaurant, visit the Mount Everest. as you will not be disappointed., Great food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Worth a try.

Menu photo does not show all that you get with Thai; no lunch buffet

By Fred T |

We went for lunch and they posted that no more buffet. I ordered a Thai sample platter. There is a photo of it in the menu. However, they served more food that what was shown in the photo. First came a plate of several kinds of meats and fried veggies and one samosa (that was missing from the photo). Then came the main meal of several cups of food around a larger cup of rice. It was a mixture of veggies and meat; also naan and one desert. It was more food than I could eat, so I had some good leftovers the next day. The food tasted fine to me.

Indian/ Nepali Food

By Raj |

This was our 1st visit . We were the 1st customer at 5 pm after their buffet time .They did not show any facial expression or any greetings when we enter to the restaurants . The foods we ate were on average standard and restaurant was clean. They need to learn how to greet and attract customers. They also need to be on clean and nice attire . Thanks

Fabulous Indian Food!

By donovantravelers |

This is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. Mount Everest is clean, reasonable, has good service and tasty authentic food! We like the Veggie samosas and Aloo Tiki for appetizers. All of the curry dishes are delish as well as the Chicken Tika Masala. You can get your entree as spicy as you like(1-10). The garlic naan is a must for dipping. We come here about every six weeks and have never been disappointed.

Brilliant Buffet

By Anish M |

Everytime I go Vegas, other than casion this is a must visit place. Love the lunch buffet here. Especially the gajar halwa. I would recommend everyone to try it out. Giving it a 4 star just coz I feel that non veg dishes and starters could be slightly better. 5 star for veg dishes though.

You know from the smell before you even leave your car ...yummm.

By Hobnob_Hobo |

I read a few of the other recent reviews with some surprise. It's true there is not a massive selection like the buffets at the casinos. But they have one whole section of veg - probably 8 or 10 different dishes. Then maybe a half-dozen more that have meat. Everything is tasty. I agree that the people running it and working are not the most outgoing and friendly - but that may just be cultural or maybe they are just working hard. They take good care of you. We go here a lot - we have a few favorite places we go for Indian, but we end up back here most of the time. Sure, it's not a five star place but I've never found it to be not clean or up to my standards.

Great lunch buffet

By lsussman |

They have a delicious lunch buffet with lots of veggie options, and at a variety of spice levels. The buffet is until 3 and on weekends too.

Not Worth the Money

By rahul w |

Not much starter option, we went there after reading reviews but its not worth the money. Service was average even the option were limited missing the taste.

Good food, good service.

By Ana D |

Service was excellent. That cannot be said for many Indian restaurants abroad, sadly. We were very impressed with the courteous staff and the very, very delicious food. It is finger-licking good!

Great Indian Restaurant

By PennStateFan2013 |

Great place with wonderful food and terrific service. Always busy, but receive food quickly and it's tasty.

Excellent!

By Robin R |

The picture shows a fancy website but when you get there you will see it is pretty simple inside and not fancy at all. But linen table clothes and a huge menu. Beer and wine well priced wine at 17.00 a bottle, if you want better there are a few choice. Friday night all tables taken and people waiting. We are 4 adults and with 1 beer, 1 17.00 bottle of wine, 4 entrees and apps our bill was 100.00. Very reasonable. You will not be disappointed. The waiter apologized for the wait for food, but we had no problem. If you like Indian Food this is your place!

Excellent

By Roderic H |

Fantastic food in a nice environment. Enjoyed the Aloo Gobi, Shrimp Biryani, and Naan bread. Appreciated the chef toning down the spices too.

Excellent Indian Food

By KedarGadre |

We ate at this place during our recent trip to LV & the entire family loved the food. We liked it so much that we went again on the next day :) Nice, reasonably priced Buffet & tasty food. This will probably be our only goto food place when we go to LV next :)

THE BEST INDIAN FOOD IN LAS VEGAS

By SeniorHoney |

We had friends in town yesterday and we recommended Mt. Everest Indian Restaurant for the lunch buffet. We travel frequently all over the world and love Indian food. The food is amazing and a fantastic selection. Their selections on the buffet are plentiful and the food is awesome and the Nan is the best ever. Our guests loved the restaurant. The atmosphere was conducive for enjoying our conversation. They loved our choice and said when they visited Las Vegas they would return to Mt. Everest.

Our Favorite in Vegas

By Aceydubs |

We're locals. And we've been to many of the Indian restaurants on town. This is our favorite. We dine in and phone order take out at frequently. Decent ticket times, friendly staff, delicious entrées. It shows they are trying very hard to be a successful business based on great food and accommodating service.

Do you want the best Indian Food?

By Blair L |

If so, please make this a stop while you are in Vegas! The lunch buffet is phenomenal, as well as the dinner, and the staff is amazing! Just thinking of the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala, is making my mouth water!

Amazing service!

By prathimavenkat |

We went with our little ones during our vacation. As vegetarians and picky eaters, it’s hard to satisfy our taste buds but this place went above and beyond our expectations. Visited twice and happy both times. Food was awesome. Clean environment. Friendly service.

Off the beaten path

By 411glennr |

We were looking for something different off the beaten path, so we found Mt Everest... The restaurant is located in a quiet part of town, and it looks like a old converted Pizza Hut. But all in all the food was good and the staff was friendly. My problem is that I’m never sure what to order, so I always seem to salivate over what the other tables are getting. ;-)

Good food within price limits

By Shina R |

This is a good place to enjoy indian food in Vegas. Their buffet has limited options but delicious food. A la Carte menu offers north indian, south indian and nepali food.

Avoid it they steal your things

By SAMUEL G |

Food was ok but we left a bag there and it was stolen. Watch out for your valuables because they’re not getting them back, we called the owner 30 minutes after and they said there was nothing there at all.. thieves…

Mad I didn't find this place sooner

By Donna W |

Mt. Everest is located just a short distance from the Strip and so worth the trip for the amazing food, great service and reasonable prices. I lived in LV for 5+ years and I just found this place...what a shame I've missed out for so long. We order a somosa appetizer and personally, I'm not usually a fan since I feel like they are belly bombs but, by far, this was the best somosa I've ever had. Period. It was perfection in every way. The crust was golden and the filling was super flavorful and it looked like a giant kiss. We ordered Tika Masala, tandoori chicken and some onion kulcha. Each of the dishes was artful in the bold flavors and the presentation of the tandoori chicken was beautiful with the white ontion, red peppers, lemon wedges and herbs. It tasted even better. I wasn't sure what beer to order since I like "Hoppy" IPA beers (Ruination and Sculpin) and they suggested the Taj Mahal which was great! My husband likes lighter beers (like Stella Artois) and they suggested the Flying Horse and he liked it was well. The ambiance of Mt. Everest needs updating, but the food is so damn good, truly it didn't matter after the first bite! The service was superb and they brought us some extra spicy heat upon request. On the way out, the proprietor met us (and the couple in front of us) at the door, thanked us for visiting and told us he hoped to see us again. It's so nice to go to a restaurant that really cares about their customers. We will be back to this gem for sure!

Delicious Indian Food

By AnilAggarwal |

We had a dinner here during our Las Vegas trip. Getting Indian vegetarian food is a big issue for us. Nice ambiance. Quick efficient service. Smiling staff. All dishes were tasty. Very good restaurant

Best Indian cuisine in Vegas!!

By MrsGarnett24 |

Our fave Indian food in all of Las Vegas! The lunch buffet is a great price and always offers a wide variety of food that is hot and fresh. The naan is cooked to order and brought out fresh from the oven.... They will bring garlic naan by request. The butter chicken is to die for!!

Good Indian food

By Aditya S |

I went to this restaurant for two reasons 1) good reviews 2) close to the hotel I was staying at Since we were two people, we did not have to wait long for seating. The seats were comfortable. We ordered 3 dishes, Chikken tikka masala (medium spicy), vegetable korma and dal and ordered one garlic naan to go with it. My wife who is from Taiwan loved the naan and chicken. In addition to reflecting her opinion, I thought the dal was very tasty. Vegetable korma was on the better side but I wish they had cut the vegetables a little smaller. The staff were very friendly although occasionally forgetful (They gave us napkins but not cutlery and they forgot to provide menus to the adjacent table).

Best East Indian food in Vegas

By shebee12 |

This place has the best Indian food in Vegas. We have tried others, but this by far is the best. The waitstaff are more than knowledgable and patient and helpful with decision making. We just stopped for a quick bite after the UNLV game and enjoyed the tiki marsala and a wondeful vegetable dish,Aloo Kauli, with potatoes, cauliflower, peas, cumin and other spices and balsmati rice. The food was served hot and delicious. It was actually so good we reordered the same meal to take to our kids for a late nite dinner. We will go again and again. Prakach, our server, was most helpful with our meal.

Great food and service

By Just_Ken225 |

After craving indian food for nearly a year.....the first place I went to upon my return was here. Great staff and amazing food!!!

Superb Indian food!!

By BeingNomad |

Being an Indian, its hard to find an authentic Indian restaurant; and i can say this was one of the authentic ones. We were here for lunch and the buffet was quite sumptuous. the variety for both veg/non-veg was good and the food had the true indian taste. the place is run by the folks for Nepal and they are quite friendly and help you with any of your queries. Do try this restaurant if you have an appetite for Indian food.

Staff is good

By ashishb |

The staff is very good, professional and very helping. I visited this place looking at the online rating and was not a complete disappointment. However, the ambiance disappointed me a lot. It is much darker with the red curtains. From the food we ordered, Chicken Biryani was awesome, Nan and Parathas were fab, but the Chhole Masala was not up to the mark (and we were totally ok with that). Overall an OK to good experience. The ambiance contributes a lot to the experience.

A very good restaurant for Indian Food

By Gadre2013 |

We had been for Lunch to this Restaurant two days. There was buffet with a very reasonable rate. All the items were very tasty. Since we liked the food on firstday we decided to go the next day too

An excellent Indian restaurant

By oldbrdrz |

We ordered our food with “mild heat” and enjoyed the chicken kadai and the sweet buttery lamb tikka masala. The amount of food was ample. Mango lassi drinks and carrot halva dessert were also delicious. Service was good and swift.

EXCELLENT Indian food!!

By manxgran |

I am an experienced cook, and usually prepare Indian food at home. We are out of town and found this restaurant on line. We knew we were in for a treat when we walked through the door, and smelled the aromas from the kitchen! The service was friendly and attentive, and the menu provided plenty of choice without being overly ambitious. My Husband had the Chicken Curry - which was "toasty" at a 7 out of 10. He didn't leave a scrap! The naan was freshly baked and delicious, and the Basmatti rice was the real thing. I had the best Kauli Aloo that I have ever had, and teamed it with garlic naan that was fantastic. Our dishes had carefully crafted layer upon layer of flavor, and the fragrance was an added delight. Another clue that this restaurant is the real thing is that there were several Indian families eating there as well.... always a good sign :) If you love Indian food, and are in the area, give the Mount Everest a try. Good value, and delicious food.

Good if you are not in rush

By arbaj |

Good food but not good service. If you are a clean freak then this is not for you. I went for dinner, their Biryani and naan is good but lamb curry was just OK. Need more server to come and engage with guests at least once since we didn’t get ask for anything during our entire 1.3 hour. I had to ask for napkin, dinner plate and such. If they focus little bit more on service and cleaning it’ll be a great dining place since food is already good.

Good food but can be better

By arbaj |

We visited this restaurant Sunday evening for dinner. When we got there it was crowded so had to wait about 20 min which is ok. They can do better in Cleanliness though. We ordered Momo (i wont recommend this, not very tasty both sauce and Momo itself. Chicken chili taste wise it was good, but I wonder why they used tandoori chicken for chilli, Since I know what real chilli looks & tastes like. Butter chicken curry naan was good. I wanted to give 3.5 but can't here. 1.5 stars less due to cleanliness, and quality of some of the dishes. However price is reasonable.

Very Good Indian Restaurant

By TibetVisitor |

We like to eat Indian food at least once a month. This is one of our two go to restaurants. We prefer this place if we are on the west side of town (it is more a central Las Vegas location). Food is always good, so is the service, even just for take out. We typically have lunch buffet here. Plenty to choose from at a very reasonable price. Not hard to find, on West Sahara and Valley View.

Best Indian food and great customer service

By Nepurr |

The best Indian food in Las Vegas. Very delicious food. Great customer service. All restaurant staff and restaurant manager/owner (Prakash) very friendly and professional. Even my kids loved the food. This is going to be our permanent Indian food stop when we visit Vegas. Restaurant ambience /atmosphere was great and restaurant was very clean.Great job all staff and CHEF at Mount Everest India Cuisine for making very delicious food for us.

Review from a Tamil couple (south indian)

By Karthi K |

Every so called "Indian Restaurants" outside india usually a money pulling rip off with no taste. This guys everest doing an extra mile to bring a better presented dish on the table. Lamb briyani was good and tasted nice and this guys doing a great job in Las Vegas. They dont have Dosai kind of south indian dishes, How ever this restaurant is a good choice in LAS.

Delicious

By Aneri S |

I can say it’s best among other indian restaurants in Vegas for indian lunch buffet. They have so much variety of vegetarian dishes. Loved the ambience and food. One must definetly visit this place.

Unbelievable Good Food

By Bhaggy |

The Mount Everest India Cuisine is located off the Strip in Vegas and has a wide variety of Indian dishes. After 4 days of Strip food, decided to try something new based on great reviews of this restaurants. The reviews were on que, the food was excellent and the service very good. Showed up at 12:30PM not knowing it was a buffet lunch, even better. Every dish was tasty and the naan was to die for, soft, buttery and melted in your mouth. However, my favorite dish was the chilly chicken, medium spicy and very tender. The décor could do with some upgrade but everything else was really good. Will definitely recommend.

Lovely authentic Indian food

By Vandra M |

Not very good kerb appeal, but when you get inside, a lot different. Had the chicken tikka massala, and garlic naan, both of which were excellent. Not many in, so we didn't have to wait long for food, so can't comment how it would be if very busy. Reasonable price...nothing like you would pay in the hotels. Took an uber, and we're there in less than 10 mins.

Best Indian food I've had in a long time

By SKidaddle104 |

So, so good and reasonably priced. Everything was very fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly. Eat here. You won't regret it.

Delicious Tikka Masala

By Creeping_Death_LA |

The lady was in the mood for some Indian food and we found this restaurant not too far from where we were located. The interior is nothing great but the service is fast. We ordered an appetizer, vegetarian tikka masala which includes rice, and garlic naan. We were hungry and this was more than enough food for the two of us. The heat level 7 was perfect in heat and flavoring. While we were eating there were many to go orders.

Probably the best

By lwflawyer |

Indian food in Vegas. Not far from the Strip. Easy to get to and worth the trip. Good environment and service.

Great Indian Food

By bs4u2c |

This was a great place to eat, the food was very good, the prices were very reasonable and a friendly staff. I would eat here again!

Average Indian Restaurant

By Yatin T |

Went in the evening a took a To-go of a few items. the taste was good but nothing exclusive about the menu. All items were the same what you would find at any Indian Restaurant. The Shahi Paneer was prepared well.

Great experience

By Aastha S |

Great food, great customer service. A hidden gem in Las Vegas. Must try out place for Indian and Nepalese Cuisine. Definitely will be going back for more in future when back in Las Vegas.

Poor service - less than average food !

By travellalone |

We went to this restaurant hoping to sample good Indian food. However, food was not at all of the standard by which even average (leave alone authentic) Indian cooking can be judged. Service was abysmal. And the worst part of our experience - there was no goat meat, and despite assurances, they didn't bring us any even after a very long wait. It would be wise to stay away from this place.

Excellent food at extremely reasonable prices

By Andy D |

Last place I wanted to eat was Indian food in Las Vegas, Being from India, I eat that practically every day at my home. We chose this restaurant only because we were getting late for a show and decided to grab some vegetarian food. Boy, am I glad I did. Food is flavorful and variety is outstanding. We ended up going there next day again when returning from Grand Canyon. Try different Kulchas, Kadai Paneer and Dal Makhani.

Excellent

By Riaz |

Very good aroma and good Indian food. The place was packed for lunch. Crowd should tell you that this is a good place. The taste was unique. Not the regular Indian tasting dishes. Naan was different and good. Spices were very well balanced. Very economical compared to the strip restaurants. Service was excellent. Clean. Why four stars is because the buffet was not extensive and the ambiance was okay and place seemed crowded, meaning more tables and chairs than what there should be. Anyway I will strongly recommend. Having said all that I have to say I have had better Indian food for the record because someone earlier had commented that this was the best food they have had. Still excellent.

Best Nepali and Indian food in cheapest price around

By pdevkota |

Awesome lunch after a long time with my wife, so many items to choose from. Almost all food were yummy. Beautiful and cosy ambience. Prices was very cheap. We loved momos the most, the best I ever had in USA.

A Bit Out of the Way But Nicely Spicy

By Harold T |

The food is delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Started with Mulligatawny Soup which was excellent, followed by Shrimp Vindaloo (Note: Shrimp, not Prawn). They offered a spiciness range of 1-10; I opted for 8. The flavor was wonderful with the 'burn' building up gradually. Never got into the truly painful range. For an interesting pairing try it with the sweet rice.

Lunch buffet

By travelingcoinman |

Was al little disappointed that the buffet was filled with bland dishes. But they did have lots of choices. Most buffets are like this one with no heat to any dishes. I prefer a buffet that isn’t afraid to spice it up a little, not hot but at least a medium heat. Service was soso at best. Ordered a mango lassi that never came and after being seated was left alone until went to the front to pay. Don’t think I’ll be back unless the competition doesn’t do any better when I try them.

Used to be great; now...meh

By Jake |

For several years, this place was my go-to Indian lunch buffet. Sure, the buffet menu was always the same, but it was delicious and filling. A year or two ago I noticed that the quality of the food & the service had declined. I don't know why. If I never went here again, I would not miss the current quality of the food & service. Sometimes nostalgia overcomes me and I return, and then I remember why this place is no longer at the top of my list.

The best Indian food in Las Vegas, take it from a local

By greg y |

I have eaten at most of the other Indian restaurants in Las Vegas, and I can tell you this has the best food, bar none. The place is often full of Indian Americans, they often have large family dinners here. Sitting next to me this evening was a family of ten ! The building is a former fast food restaurant, on West Sahara, about a mile west of the strip, so not a walking distance for a strip based tourist. The owner is here every night, and cares very much about the quality of his food. Not a bad place for a date night, either.

Nothing to write home about.

By Chris H |

Nothing to write home about. Good base sauce for the butter chicken. Excellent naan. Floor was dirty, flies kept landing on food. Portions were big.

Not Fresh food

By yesha24 |

We had taken a buffet lunch but were not happy eating at all. 2 of us fell sick after eating. The food was not fresh. Also, I told the staff that the rice was not properly cooked as well. It was all raw. Avoid

good food

By KhanVegas |

The food is your usual indian food, its loaded with great flavor and spices. The buffet line is small and simple but it has just enough to make it worth the $10.99. the staff is friendly but they only bring 2 small portions of naan for your meal at a time, so you have to keep asking for more, its not a bad place to grab a bite if your interested in trying something new.

Great find.

By Ducatiride1 |

My buddy took me here. Great food. Great prices. An authentic family restaurant. Great service too. Thank you Sujan! Great job.

Great lunch buffet

By Ken H |

Myself and a bunch of coworkers go here for the lunch buffet and it always pleases. A decent amount of options for a reasonable price. I've yet to have a bad experience, the food is great and the service is good too. I definitely recommend it.

Great indian cuisine

By Dark city |

If you're looking for terrific Indian food in Las Vegas, here it is. All from scratch, great service, and Bollywood TV!! The butter chicken was the best I've had in years. If you like Indian food and have transportation (there is no place the transit system doesn't go!), you won't be disappointed!

Primo food

By Bearwife |

This is a box shaped restaurant in a Latino supermarket parking lot, and it is a good thing there are "Open" signs on it, as it always looks closed. But within is very pleasant service and really wonderful Indian food -- the best garlic naan I've ever had, fabulous jalrezi curry, a lovely "smashed vegetable samosa" appetizer with yogurt and mint and spicy sauce, and a great eggplant and potato dish. Everything tastes like it is being served in the home of a superb cook in India. Really a standout place.

Good. Indian. Food.

By der Wurm |

Went for the food, and stayed for the food. It's always encouraging when you go out for Indian food and nearly half the people in the restaurant are... can I say it (?)...Indian. Don't be put off by the building exterior, the food and service will soon let you know you have stumbled upon a dining treasure. We family styled - and shared Tandoori Chicken and spicy Chicken Vindaloo, with Garlic Naan and Taj Mahal lager beer. An excellent meal finished off with sweet rice pudding. The muted Bollywood movie playing in the corner was a pleasant distraction - how can you not smile at all that dancing and singing? Definitely worth the drive across town to find the place. Thanks for the recommendation, Richard.

Best Indian Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Sylvie T |

This place is amazing the best indian food ever. Most of the customers are indian. I came once as well with Indian friends from UK, they loved it too. The service is superb too.

Very Good!! Always pleasant and clean. Just wish it was closer to my home.

By Redlldu |

Chicken Tikka Masala, batmasi rice & Mann bread ❤️ Very Good!! Always pleasant and clean. Just wish it was closer to my home.

Best Indian in vegas

By Roxana |

It's the best Indian food I've had in Vegas. We go for their buffet lunch. It's $10.99 I believe for all you can eat. My favorite is the chicken makhani. The staff and owners are very friendly. We are pretty much regulars at Mt. Everest.

Great Customer Service and Enjoyable Food

By VegasBling |

Our party of five arrived here at 6 p.m. for dinner on a Saturday night. Two staff members greeted us and welcomed us to sit at a beautifully set table with linens. Restaurant is clean, well maintained and had a sense of pride. We were immediately given menus and provided our requested beverages immediately. Staff gave us a complimentary serving of flat, thin bread along with a green and a plum colored sauce - wonderful! Our order was prepared in an acceptable amount of time (less than 13 minutes) and was served courteously by staff. Employees were attentive to us the entire time. Food was tasty and of a generous portion. We noted that multiple east Indian parties seated and eating at the restaurant. We all enjoyed the food and would definitely return again.

Hungry for a Indian food in Las Vegas

By zia k |

The best place for good Indian food the inside is not that fancy but the food is so delicious and juicy love it the grilled mixed kabobs are so amazing the yellow dall is good just 5 minutes away from the strip I and my wife are going to this restaurant for almost two years and the are very good people family owned restaurant

Very Busy with Locals, A Good Choice for Indian Fare in Las Vegas

By Jeanette H |

Although it's WAY off the strip, this place is worth the trip if you like good Indian food. A standalone restaurant in front of a strip center, parking is easy. We came for an early dinner, and the place wasn't full when we got there, but was close to full by the time we left, with many of the customers being Indian themselves, which tells you something about the authenticity. The food was good, the portions HUGE, the price pretty reasonable, and a lot less than what you'd find further downtown. The service was a bit slow, with several tables that came in after us getting served before us, but it could be because of what we ordered (though it was straight off the menu, nothing custom). We ate too much (we were leaving Vegas the next day, so couldn't take leftovers like we normally do) so we were stuffed trying to get in as much as possible of this delicious food. Would definitely go back, and would recommend if you like Indian food.

A very good Indian buffet

By BobD686 |

I've never been to an Indian Buffet but for a first time experience, this is way better than I expect. Lots of good chicken dishes and curry. The prices were reasonable and the service good.

Good food

By BP B |

The start was not brilliant - the waiter understood very little English. The guy who took our order was better but things were still lost in translation. We ordered one beer & two came, boiled rice came that we hadn't ordered........... I tried to explain phall but had to settle for a hot vindaloo. When my wife ordered buttered chicken, she was asked whether she preferred mild or spicy & she chose the former but it came hot - we didn't return it because she didn't want me to eat alone, whilst she waited for a replacement. In saying the above, the food was well presented and very tasty, albeit served on cold plates.

Average food

By MpV |

I think the taste of food is just average. Place was crowded on Monday for buffet. But the buffet options were just not up to my expectations. Really below average taste. May be they are trying to make food with less spices !! But for Indian food, you must use spices generously!!

Really Good dining experience!

By Ricardo S |

I had mix feelings about this place due to conflicting reviews and we always go next door to Mariana's. In an effort to try new places we came in for dinner. We were greeted and seated right away, so far so good. The servers are very young but friendly because this is my first time eating Indian it took me a while to decide. My wife ordered the chicken curry and I settled on the chicken makhani (butter chicken). An order of garlic naan to complement the meal. First of all their portions are large and we had to ask for a couple of to-go boxes. They chicken curry was good but the butter chicken was very good. I was not disappointed at all in fact I was very happy we tried this place. Affordable not cheap and we are going to try their buffet next time. We are definitely coming back!

Best Indian Food I've Ever Had

By blaizessun |

To be fair, I am not an expert on Indian food. But I have eaten at Indian restaurants in San Francisco and New Orleans and Philadelphia and maybe some other places I don't remember, so I'm not a complete novice either. The food I ate at Mount Everest was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I went with friends who live in Las Vegas, friends who have eaten at about fifteen different Indian restaurants in that town and said this one is the best. We went for the lunch buffet. The rice was perfectly cooked, and all of the sauces were hot and delicious. I thought the samosas were a bit tough and just warm. I think a huge batch had been made for the lunch rush and had maybe been sitting around too long. I loved the potato and squash dish, and I thought all the sauces were fantastic. I appreciated that the meat dishes and the vegetarian dishes were totally separated and that all dishes were labeled, so folks weren't likely to accidentally get meat they didn't want. Naan was delivered to our table promptly. It was super hot and tasty. The wait staff kept our water glasses filled and were friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here and would do it again if I were in Las Vegas.

Christmas Buffet

By D C |

I came here on Christmas day and had the lunch buffet. Overall it was quite crowded which was to be expected. My wife and I shared a table with another couple and there was a line of people out the door. With that said, the food and service were both excellent. Unlike many Indian buffets I’ve tried, the food was very good and favorable - not to mention there was also a good variety (both vegetarian and meat dishes were plentifully available). It almost seems that some other places like to water down their food for the buffets, but here, at least there was some kick. Overall, I would definitely return again. The only complaint I would have is that the place is too small.

Our New Favorite Indian Restaurant in Las Vegas

By DiscerningOnes |

We are SO glad we read the positive reviews. While we can’t comment on the buffet, we can say that dinner there was superb. We started with the complementary papadum. The mint sauce it came with was thick and spicier than we’re used to, which we preferred, and the tamarind was just right. For an appetizer, we ordered the keema samosas, which are filled with ground lamb, peas and spices. They were so flavorful. The shell was crispy, and wasn’t covered in salt like we’ve had at other places, and they were as filled as they could have been. We ordered 3 plates, which was enough for the two of us to take half home for the next day. The sauce on the chicken tikka was better than we had in restaurants in London’s Brick Lane. We ordered it at spiciness level 6, and were pleased that it wasn’t as diluted with cream as we’ve had elsewhere. The lamb vindaloo (level 7) was great. The lamb was lean, and there was plenty of it. Nice to find lamb with potatoes, instead of potatoes with lamb. Sometimes, all we taste is the heat and salt, but this vindaloo was layered with flavors. Our third plate was baingan bharta. It was delicious, with complex subtle flavors. We enjoyed mango lassi with our meal (and took home 2 to have the next day with our left-overs). They were so thick that our glasses were filled to the brim and the waiter didn’t spill a drop. The service was very attentive, friendly, and professional, without being overwhelming. We loved that they were playing Indian music – it made a pleasing background, and didn’t drown out our conversation. Even though it’s not in the best of neighborhoods, we felt safe. Our only negative comment is that they use Styrofoam take-out containers, which aren’t eco-friendly. We will definitely be returning soon.

Solid Indian good, great service

By 81FrequentT81 |

Don't be scared when you see the place. It's a standalone little building in a strip mall. From the outside at night it almost looked like the restaurant was shuttered. But it was open and we had a good meal. We were a group of twelve. The restaurant staff were extremely accommodating and friendly -- service was excellent. The food was very good. We shared lots of dishes and a few appetizers. The only improvement I can think of would be to reduce the salt level.

Best Indian buffet in LV

By billlkay |

Best Indian lunch buffet in LV. Reasonably priced, and, they have it 7 days a week. Dinner is also great; best chicken Tandoori in town. Nice people.

Dinner

By merlinsbeard1 |

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Very friendly and tasty food. Good service. The vindaloo at a 7 was seriously hot, consider yourself warned. The lamb tikka masala was great

A Great Indian Restaurant

By Himangshu |

It is at a little distance from the strip but connected with the local bus. In Las Vegas, tourists can go all over town with a bus pass of USD 8. Looking for Indian food, especially vegetarian, we landed at this restaurant in the afternoon. They have buffet in the afternoon and a-la-carte in the evening. We really enjoyed the food and the ambience. At USD 11 per person it was really worthwhile.

Great Biyani!

By Seerystal |

I've eaten here a few times before and back again for the dish I fell in love with, lamb Biyani. I've had this dish while deployed to Afghanistan. Wonderful food. No complaints. The music videos are fun to watch.

Very good Indian place in Vegas.

By NabilBKK |

Loved this restaurant for its authentic Indian and Nepalese food. It is has most classic options and one can order spices levels. Really enjoyed bindhi massala. Portions are big and half tandoori is already a lot.

Flavorful feast

By bwbwbwbw |

Lunch buffet is still a decent value despite the price increase. Authentic Indian favorites served endlessly. Careful not to eat too much. Save room for the naan.

Best Indian Food!!!

By Blair L |

What an amazing lunch buffet!!! There is only one problem- it's so good you can't stop eating! :) such a great staff, and the food is just incredible. I hope you get to enjoy this spot while you're in Vegas!

Best Indian Buffet in Las Vegas

By awalua |

When I opened the door to Mt. Everest India's Cuisine and saw that 1/2 of the customers were of Indian ethnicity I knew that the food MUST be good. What a find! I didn't realize it was a buffet, but it made it all the better. I could try a variety of food that I would not be able to order in one sitting. Everything was delicious. Also it was very reasonable. Lunch for 2 was $23.

Feel the burn ... but in a good way.

By Pamela A |

For the past few days I have been jonesing for some ethnic food. This happens every time I watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. For some reason I have been thinking about Indian food. I wanted something that had a lot of flavor and a punch to it. I checked out Indian restaurants on the internet and found this restaurant. There were some mixed reviews but overall the comments were pretty positive. I knew going in that there would be a number of items I could not eat. I am on a specific food program at the moment but figured I could fudge a little without deviating too much. I had heard only posiitve comments about the Naam and that was one of the first items I knew I could not indulge in. In fact, as soon as the waiter put the basket on the table I asked him to remove it. I LOVE bread but have been abstaining since May 16th so I continued my not having bread. It ain't easy but certainly not Purple Heart material. There was an eggplant and potatoes dish that I also stayed away from. Along with bread I am not indulging in potatoes, peas, carrots and noodles/grains of any kind. There were two kinds of rice-----a regular white rice dish and a reddish/orange rice. Again, I could look but not touch. There was a black lentil dish but I focused my eyes and stomach on the Tandori Chicken, Goat and Chicken Curry and the Chili Chicken. There were samosas for the taking. I did not take------again, breading and fried. I tried the spinach w/homemade cheese and really enjoyed it. My two favorite items were the Chili Chicken and Goat Curry. To say the food was a little spicy would be an understatement but it was a kind of spicy that I enjoy. In fact, I added some of the garlic chili sauce to everything. Some of my friends may have found the heat a bit too much while others (Sue) would have been adding every kind of hot sauce to everything------and live to talk about it. The restaurant was half full when I arrived at approximately 1:50pm. The buffet goes until 3:00pm. The atmosphere was nice and Indian music was softly playing from the kitchen area. You could actually have a conversation with someone if you wanted to-----and hear what they were saying. The wait staff was nice especially a young man named Michael. He was very helpful in letting me know what everything was (all things are labeled at the buffet table). He also advised that I come closer to 11:00am when the buffet begins. He stated everyrthing is at its most fresh and tastes even better hot off the presses. I got ready to leave around 2:50pm and all of a sudden people start arriving to eat. Although the buffet would only be open another 10 minutes they all chose to stay and eat. I would definitely return to this restaurant and bring friends with me. I would also ask for Michael.

Fragrant Food

By Sue C |

This was our 2nd time enjoying Indian cuisine. Everyone ordered a different dish so we all could share the flavors. We ordered appetizers and bread. The main meal came shortly. We all were pleased and had "To Go" boxes. Very reasonable meal for 6 folks dinner $120 with tip.

Seriously tasteless food.

By Michelle A |

After reading a few reviews i decided to try Mt. Everest. I wish I hadn't. The food is bland and tasteless I ordered the Dal and there was no flavor. I might as well have been eating soup made of water. We also ordered Garlic Naan bread. When it arrived at the table the smell was mouth watering but alas there was no taste. I wondered if they splashed garlic on the plate because it was sure missing from the bread. I would not return and if someone says this is good food they either own, work for or have never had great Indian food!.

Great Indian food!

By Bernardo F |

A nice discovery on Sahara. Fantastic Indian food at really great prices too. Is a decent space with all the usual Indian touches. Really nice service.

Food is delicious

By Websurfer51 |

Wife was craving Indian food while in Vegas. Decided to try this place based on reviews and proximity to our hotel. When we got there tbe outside was kind of dark so we weren't sure if it was open. Looked inside and saw some Indian people eating so decided to take a chance. We shared a vegetable samosa appetizer which was tasty and Poori bread which was light and puffy like we expected. My wife had the chicken kotma and i had the chicken curry which were very good. The wait staff were very nice but the inside of the restaurant was a little dark.

They're Back!

By Roving508504 |

They just re-opened yesterday May 15, and they haven't lost their touch. The tandoori chicken, sweet rice, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were all worthy of the name Mount Everest! Got it to go. They even threw in some heavenly carrot pudding. Thanks guys!

I could live on their butter chicken!

By Cindy R |

Delicious food and friendly service in a comfortable setting. Try the butter chicken and the mango lassi. I’ll be back!

Nice Indian Buffet

By rajka3 |

Went there for a Weekday lunch buffet. It was in a fairly decent location close to Stratosphere Tower and Casino. Had a fairly basic spread of Indian favorites like Potato Curry, Samosa, channa, paneer masala etc. on the buffet. But everything tasted very fresh and was delicious. Would certainly return for another meal.

Get it as spicy as you want

By Edward G |

I went there with my brother and our wives. The staff was very friendly. We ordered several entrees and then shared between the 4 of us. My brother likes it super spicy, but ordered a little less for me. It was very delicious, although it was too hot. They even have a couple beers from India.

Bona fide Indian, great curry, lamb, and chicken

By Pmrphoto |

I had chicken curry which was very nice, rice was perfect. The naan was out of this world (garlic). My buddy got a spicy lamb dish that I tried and it was fantastic. While the place is in a funky old Burger King, don't let that sway you. I loved everything about the experience. Waiter was kind, helpful and never let my glass get further than 3/4! Service was excellent!

Hands Down the Best Indian Cuisine in Vegas

By Martin G |

The selection of really good Indian Restaurants in Las Vegas is somewhat limited, but thank goodness for Mount Everest. From the outside it looks like a converted fast-food joint (used to be a Burger King) but inside the decor and atmosphere are what you would expect in an authentic upscale Indian Restaurant offering fine dining. To cut a long story short, I have eaten at Mount Everest on several occasions. The food is excellent as is the service, portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I have tried many Indian restaurants in Vegas and none of them come close to Mount Everest - highly recommended.

Tasty Food!

By mwoodgate |

I have had several Uber Eats from this restaurant. Very good food, and excellent portions. Menu very extensive and thoughtful preparation.

Great Indian food

By Cynthialofa |

My friend recommended this place to me, and I was not disappointed. I have been craving for samosa for quite some time, so that was the first thing I looked for. I love spicy food, so I ordered the Vindaloo. It was creamy, tasty and oh so spicy - I love it! I always order the garlic naan but the plain naan was not too bad at all. The place is pretty popular, and from what I hear the lunch buffet is pretty good, too. Good service, reasonable price, great food. This will be my go-to place for Indian cuisine.

Roaches in the kitchen !!!

By Keanu38 |

To my disgust I've been eating there for years . On my last visit while eating there a reporter from Channel 13 walked in with a camera man to follow up on their recent public health inspection . Where they found uncovered items in the cooler , food with the wrong temperature no soap or sanitizing in the kitchen for the dishes and the most horrific thing roaches in the kitchen . If you go on you tube you can see the whole report in the news for this place. I hope they correct it but even if they do I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAING YUCK !!!!

Probably OK for the natives

By RetiredTraveler78 |

Thursday lunch, spouse and I arrived at about 12:25 and were seated quickly by a friendly male. The booth had white linen table clothe and white clothe napkins with better than the usual flatware and water goblet. Unfortunately, lunch is ONLY the buffet for $10.99 [it is not clear if this is ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT]. A menu is only for dinner. The buffet had a "sneeze" shield with sticky notes with handwritten names for whatever was under the shield. The labels were for the Indian name of the dish; not very helpful if you're not an Indian speaker. The "wet" items were soupy and the "dry" items were dry to an extreme. The two best items, IMHO, were the chicken curry and the white rice, while the others were forgettable. The condiments I normally associate with curry [like coconut, peanuts, grated onion, etc. were absent; although the chutney was present, but unremarkable as chutney]. I would hazard a guess that those giving five stars are native speakers and are familiar with the food in the buffet. Since I'm neither, this made things awkward.

Very, very good service

By rachaelf666 |

We had a reservation for 7 - we ended up having 9 or so. They very happily added another table to ours + seats for our additional friends. We ordered A LOT of stuff and they were super patient with us. The servers were attentive and really, really friendly. When we got to the end of the night - they had put everything on one check BUT were able to just ring individual couples up for their orders. We discovered that there were a couple of items on there that no one claimed and we weren't sure were actually ordered - they had no problem removing those for us. The food was very good - I found some things to be spicier than I anticipated (but I like spicy food so that wasn't a problem.) If you're looking for something that is OFF the strip, kind of quiet, and good - definitely stop in here.

THE BEST

By JoyMcN |

Every time I visit Vegas, I visit Mount Everest and you should too. This is the best Indian food anywhere. I travel a lot and I eat Indian food all over the country. This is my favorite place. The naan melts in your mouth. The rice is fragrant and fluffy. The food is deeply complex. If you like it spicy, this is the place where the flavors are so deep the spice doesn't overpower the flavor. Get off the strip and go to Mount Everest!

Indian at Mt. Everest

By mikempink |

The buffet at Mt. Everest was average at best. The variety of dishes was limited and the usual distinctive Indian flavor were missing from most. We arrived after 1 PM and the buffet was schedule until 3 PM but we did not see any restocking of the buffet. If you arrived late, you likely did not get a few dishes. The servers never provided "hot chile" that we requested. This was our second visit to this restaurant with similar results. Will not be back.

Honest review was required

By nick s |

I found very great reviews on google but seems and turnout most of the fake. So I thought to give honest and true review. I am sitting in the restaurant right now and waiting for my order being remade as all the first time food was very ordinary. Staff is rude and specially manager. I had to go thru 3people to get my problem resolved. Also, they are attracting people with low price but the quantity you get is even less than that prices. You can not feed 1 person with one plate of food. Plz beware with reviews on different sites and DO NOT GO THERE. Now I just got my remade food and its bad then first too. I asked for spicy so they just add bunch of red chili powder and burn my mouth.

Lunch buffet

By cityboy_nz |

2nd time for lunch, always nice and good selections. I love the Naan bread and the chicken tikka masala. Service is good and drink refills come quickly. Definitely recommend this place.

Great Indian Food

Great place for lunch as they have a buffet and if you are new to Indian food that is a great way to try different dishes. Inexpensive but very tasty! Service is quick and very friendly.

Great food

Excellent cuisine. Naans were soft and tasty. Authentic recipes, well cooked I would go there again before my vacation ends.

AMAZING FOOD!!! AMAZING SERVICE!!

By raeraerow |

Nice staff. Water stayed full entire time. Food was great! Ordered tiki masala and chicken makhani. Both were amazing! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Very disapointing but then again I'm spoiled

By johnkovinla |

I found a this place to be over rated, it was not the worst ever, some things were okay but not a huge selection of things. The staff is very unfriendly and there was a hair of my plate that I got on the buffet and it was not mine. The bread was great, but it ended there. The place is not the most uplifting atmosphere in the world either, a little depressing.

Non-pretentious, great service

By I_Am_Methodical |

We travel to Vegas a lot and love to go here for dinner. There's nothing fancy about this place. In fact, the decor looks a bit tired. But, it is clean, the food is very good, and service is great. One time I ordered a dish too spicy for my pallet. When the owner's son learned about it, not only did he gave me another plate free of charge (I didn't know about it until we got the check), he even gave me a plate of yogurt and told me this would lower the heat in my mouth. I love their Baingan Bharta and garlic naan. Butter chicken, vindaloo, tikki masala and kachumber salad are very nice too. Never had the chance to try their dessert because we were always very full after our meal. From what I saw every time we dined there, 90% diners were Indians. So how can you go wrong with this restaurant?

Great Indian food

By DSKG84 |

Was visiting Vegas and was craving Indian food. This place is legit. Everything we got was delicious. Great vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

Great lunch buffet!

By Jennifer S |

Great place. Went for the 11 dollar lunch buffet. They had lots of delicious choices; among them were pakoras, saag paneer, curry lentils, chicken tikka masala, and two kinds of rice, including my beloved basmati with peas. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. They brought us hot naan bread in a basket with our meal. Service was excellent. I would love for them to add a dessert--rice pudding, maybe? Good experience. Highly recommend.

An indian buffet lunch at Las vegas

By BALASUBRAMANIAN K |

Though this restaurant is for away and the waiting time for your turn is more it is worth. The Buffet lunch is served from 1100 to 1500 hrs. To avoid waiting better go early. The items are very good and it is family and kids friendly.

Excellent choice

By Marcia Z |

For a lunch buffet or dinner off the menu, the owner of the restaurant will greet your personally and chat pleasantly with his guests. Ecxcellent food, custom cooked to order. Best nan ever.

Food Sub Par, Service Sub Par

By Nirav J |

This restaurant looks pretty old, the service is so/so. Looks to be run by a family or students. Not a very hygienic place and food is not that good. You would be better off heating up frozen Indian food.

Terrible service spoils meal

By westie2 |

We received pappadum plus delicious tamarind and mint sauces to begin our meal and after an exceptionally long wait we received our aloo tiki, deep fried mashed potatoes, which were overdone and virtually inedible. A few minutes later the remainder of our meal, chicken makahani, lamb saag, plain basmati rice and kabuli naan (stuffed with raisins and nuts) appeared. The naan was flat as a pancake and the filling was very bland. Both entrees were large and delicious though the lamb was on the tough side. We concluded the meal with a shared portion of carrot halwa which was a bit too sweet. Service, other then by the busboy, was abysmal from start to finish. The sole waiter, I am guessing the owner, sat in a booth across the room from us playing with a cell phone and never once looked in our direction to determine if we or any of the other diners needed anything. I had to call the busboy over to get our check and then it took the waiter an inordinate amount of time to process the payment.

food was tasty

By kailash v |

went for lunch buffet, they were super busy. had all vegetarian items, all were tasty. Service was ok as they forgot the items we asked, had to ask again to get it. typically Indian buffets are 7.99, but here it was 9.99 but was well worth it.

Hidden jewel worth visiting!

By NickChick |

Don't let the look of the building keep you from trying this India jewel! When you step inside, you are transported to a far away place. Restaurant was very clean. Food and prices were great. Tandori Chicken was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

The Best Indian and Nepalese food in Las Vegas

By Roytheboy123 |

If you are looking for authentic Indian and Nepalese dishes in Las Vegas, look no further than this place. It is family ran establishment and they do a pretty good job.

Tasty

By Adventurer259860 |

I really like the varieties of both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods in the lunch buffet. The carrot halwa was really tasty. I wish they had at least one type of biryani the day I went (Tuesday). tandoori chicken at this restaurant is the best I have ever eaten (I am an india and I have tried tandoori in over 50 restaurants both in US and India).

India food at a good price

By ttrr206 |

If you are interested in sampling India food at a low cost. Here is the place to go. I think the food is delicious there. You can enjoy curry goat meat and curry chicken there. At $11 a pop, you get all sorts of Indian food. I hope the selections could be bigger and the customer service could be better.

Not so impressed

By 3ddesigns |

I read reviews on this restaurant that were very good so we thought we would try. The food was OK (I have had much better Indian in the Vegas area) but the atmosphere was awful. There was no aesthetic appeal and it was very noisy. The ventilation system was so poor that I could hardly breathe. Perhaps this was a temporary thing but I will never return due to this problem.

Average food but good service...

By Narren2014 |

Whatta Meal

By 885JamesC885 |

Ubered here for tonight's meal. Ni e ride and an even better dinner. Keema samosa's, paneer pakoora, papadum with traditional cilantro sauce, lamb rogan josh, tandoori chicken, dal makhini, chau chau soup, and chicken korma. Absolutely delicious meal, rounded off with a King Fisher beer. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. But, we do have a whole meal for tomorrow. Sauces were individualized and delicious. Staff polite and efficient, but not obtrusive. The lamb meat was a little dry. Both chicken dishes were moist and succulent. I liked the spicy lemon/cilantro flavor of the soup. The garlic naan was soft, buttery, and very tasty. Definitely would go back to this one!

The real deal haven’t had such authentic Nepalese food since I’ve been there!

By Flat Stanley explores the World |

The real deal haven’t had such authentic Nepalese food since I’ve been there! We went to this restaurant at the encouragement of my son who lives nearby. From the naan to the mango drink to the lamb baryon I to the perfect rice and spicey goulash it was delectable. The owner parkesh did all he could to insure we enjoyed our meal. Tell him flat Stanley sent you and you’ll be treated first class. Don’t be discouraged from the look of the place or the area…. It’s about the food and service

Amazing place for Indian Cuisine

By Daisy V |

Hi, we got a chance to dine in this restaurant during our trip to Vegas. They are very authentic in taste. One of the best samosas in the States and delicious food. Just a little piece of advice on the spice scale, 10/10 is extremely spicy. 6-7 is good enough hot. I loved this place and would recommend to all indian cuisine lovers.

Lovely food

By Arnab B |

The food was well cooked. Goat was very soft. Even the daal was very well preparation Service was very courteous.

Very Good - but not Great yet!

By smonda5 |

This is the third Indian buffet I went to in Las Vegas in the last 1.5 years and while I enjoyed the food, it felt like they can do better. It comes up as the first ranked Indian buffet in one the review sites - which - perhaps might have made me set my expectations too high. The food is still very good - though. There were a lot of variety; however, conspicuous by it's absence was biriyani (Perhaps it wasn't on menu the day I visited - on a Sunday morning). Punjabi tadka for vegetarians was a nice addition. They also served samosa - which I've not seen in any other buffet - and they were pretty good too. I just wish they had the chutney to go with it. There was a large variety of fruits too for dessert. Among the 2 chicken dishes the tikka masala was particularly nice and authentic. On the flip side the naan served was just a bit undercooked and they served only halwa as dessert. A lot of Indian customers would not be impressed by that. Also - I wonder why was the halwa placed right between the palak paneer and the chicken curry - and not in the dessert section. Just an oversight - I hope. The restaurant is conveniently located (right on Sahara Av about 3 miles from Stratosphere), the staff was super friendly and courteous (a star for them) and at $10.99 per person lunch buffet - has a price that's hard to beat in Las Vegas. If you are not extremely fussy about authentic Indian food this place is worth checking out atleast once. The place is not large and can get crowded during peak hours, so plan accordingly.

Indian food?

By Draghignazzo |

I'm not Indian, but someone don't need to be a native to score well a kind of food. By now, probably I have eaten in a hundred Indian restaurants all over the world, and the flavors eaten here were extremely odd. Anything tasted as its supposed to be. When we complain to the manager, they just smile like understanding what we were arguing but saying that it's what it is.
