We’re convinced the only reason people haven’t left a review yet is because they’re still at Mox playing games and eating the incredible food. 👀 But honestly, if you’re a board/card game enthusiast, you won’t want to leave. We aren’t the type of people to go to the same place again while on vacation because we love trying a bunch of local places, but Mox was the exception. If we could only choose one restaurant to go to for the rest of our lives, this would be it. Not only did Mox have the most relaxed atmosphere, absolutely amazing food + drinks, and kind staff, but they also have an entire game store where you could spend forever looking through all the games you didn’t know existed. This is hands-down the coolest place we’ve ever eaten and we HIGHLY recommend making the trip if you haven’t done so already.

It was my first time visiting this place. All the employees were friendly-both at the game store and at the restaurant. The recommendation for my cocktail was spot on-it was exactly what I was looking for (I got the “Tutti-Frutti), and the food was very tasty. I enjoyed their Max house burger and a tiramisu desert, as well as a blueberry 🫐 cobbler. Price was acceptable for a nice restaurant. I recommend this place if you want a nice family dinner and exploring a great game house.

This place is cool! We love food and board games. We found a card game that we loved and played during dessert. The food was delicious as well.

4 adults and 2 teen boys. It was a great experience and we will go back. We played a new family game, checked our free of charge, called Chameleon and it was a hit. If not for the atmosphere I would have given three stars because 2 out of the 6 desserts weren't fully cooked...one of the pan cookies (we ordered 2) was still raw inside and the key lime dairy free dessert I was looking forward to did not set, yet they poured the liquid into a crust and served it anyway. I did let our waiter know and he took it away and took it off our bill. We didn't know about the raw pan cookie until we were leaving and we noticed our teen grandson who is a non-stop eater had left most of his cookie uneaten. The burgers were great, my pumpkin soup was yummy and we all loved the fennel salad. The charcutier board was nothing special. Order something else.
Board Games!!!!
Mox is a great place to play new games while eating. I have gone several times and I am impressed by the selection of board games that they have available.
