From the appetizers Aji de Gallina balls, the Jalea sandwich my beautiful fiancé ordered, and my pork belly sandwich...WoW! The dessert (some kind of Oreo pudding) & the espresso were also delicious. The decor inside is modern, clean, etc. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Visited here after reading the reviews and I must say the reviews are accurate. A small and very nice place. Had the chicken wings sandwich and my wife had the short-rib sandwich. Both were awesome. Do yourself a favour and try this place.

I checked local restaurant reviews and was intrigued by the excellent reviews Mr. and Mrs. Bun received. I brought 8 adults (non-locals) over from a hotel and although we were all skeptical of the place from the outside and its limited indoor seating, we were quickly won over after eating the appetizers ("sides"). We loved the "Aji de gallina bites" and the "sweet potatoe fries" the most. Roasted potatoes were also liked by those that ordered them. I tried the tomato soup (very nice) and ate a bowl of the "clam and corn chowder" soup (marvelous!). My entree was fantastic: "Asado con palta y cebolla frita." We were also very happy with the desserts. By the end of the meal, I was the hero for picking out the restaurant for that night and all eight of us thought the food and service were beyond excellent. This has to rank up in my Top Ten eating experiences. The service was great -- not just one waiter but 2 or 3 highly skilled staff took care of us. For groups of 10 or less, I would highly recommend this restaurant! Will definitely go back when I am in the area again.

The food was okay nothing out of this world but the sandwiches were an interesting take on peruvian food. Personally I think the bread is too think and for example for the jalea sandwich you don't taste as much of the jalea. It's too expensive for what it is and the music was too loud.

I just discovered this undiscovered gem. I'm not kidding you. I rarely write any review. I told the owner myself. Right from the moment I walked in I was legitimately impressed. The first sign they are first class was the cafe con leche, its presentation was gorgeous, the best, served w a little anise cookie on a wooden platter. The menu was unusual and captivating, clearly gastronomic but not overdone. I ordered these little chicken and rice ball appetizer w a creamy yellow pepper sauce, and it was served in a little gorgeous tin bucket, so cute but it was delicious too and substantial. The menu had accurate pictures of everything! I got a brisket and horseradish giant sandwich. My mouth watered as I saw other customers get their sandwiches served as the waitress delicately hold the top bun from tipping over w the tip of a knife. I was thinking, is this for real? It was huge, but do-able, dripping juicy, some crispness in the meat, perfect amount of creamy sauce. I didn't even realize latinas knew about horseradish on brisket! They even brought the bill in a little hollowed out book w a Hershey's kiss. Are they kidding me?! And I ate all that for $20 plus a tip! This place needs to move up to a busier location. I highly recommend it.

Visited to have some snacks late at night. I was thinking about going to go iHop or Denny's but I wanted something different I have to say it was impressively good. I would totally recommended and I would totally go back. I got the butifarra and my mother got the croissant de pollo (chicken croissant) and a chocolate cake. The place is a little small but the decoration is very nice and the presentation of the food is excellent. The only improvement that would do is increase the size of the cups. I got a cafe con leche (milk with coffee) and I think the size was too small.

Saw M/M Bun on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (Guy Fieri's show) earlier this year and wanted to give it a try. It is located in Kendall in a small shopping strip with a nail salon on one side and tattoo parlor on the other. Parking was tight but there is one stroller space and 3 handicapped spaces immediately in front of M/M Bun. The interior is fresh and trendy albeit small. A hostess met us at the door and seated us. There were about a dozen small tables; our party of 6 required pulling 3 of them together. We ordered the 4 sandwiches including their popular pork belly sandwich. Sandwiches are ala carte so we ordered sweet potatoe fries and parm rosemary fries to share. For drinks we had CocaCola and Inka Cola. Just as other reviewers noted, the sandwiches are tall stacks of goodness and the aioli and blueberry ketchup were delightful. We knew to save room for desert. As we finished our entrees, the owner showed up with a tray of no less than a dozen different hand-made desserts in small mason jars. We ordered 2 alfajores (shortbread-style sandwich cookie with dulce de leche in the middle, edge-rolled in coconut flake, and dusted with powdered sugar) and a lucama flan. Our tab for 4 sandwiches, 2 sides, 5 soft drinks, and the desserts was right at $100. Our only meh moment was the realization that pork belly is basically fat -- not quite like a thick slab of bacon. Live and learn! But the other items were really, really good!

Wonderful flavors on the Asado con Palta y Cebolla frita also my friends love the Croissant de pollo and the Seafood Jalea . I will recomend you on the hard beat .

This is a Peruvian sandwich shop but so much more. Food is excellent, service was excellent too! I had the short rib sandwich (#7) the porkbelly sandwich was amazing too!

This is not a typical restaurant! It offers a unique set of “burgers/sandwiches” served on delicious buns. The combinations are fantastic. The place is actually seved by mr and mrs bun’s themselves!!! Service is excellent. The place is discreet but it a foodie haven! Make sure you taste different desserts. You will not only support the families that serve the restaurant, you will have delicious food and will get excellent service!

After the Coopertown boat tour, we stopped by here after reading all the great reviews. We were lucky to only have to wait 10 min for a table. There was always a steady crowd of people coming in. OMG, it did not disappoint. My friend and I shared the soft shell crab sandwich and the pork belly sandwich. Both were incredible. We were full but after being shown 20 different desserts in mason jars but we decided on the quatre leche with caramel to share. I think we made the right choice but boy, would I love to taste test them all! I hope I find myself in the area again in the near future.

Good quality food. Full house for dinner. Limited drink menu and no alcoholic beverages. Excellent service. Nice way to sample new tastes

We stopped by on our 1st wedding anniversary in Sept (We are from NH) and had two of the three items Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive Ins & Dives) had when he was there ..We substituted one sandwich with the BLT Soft Shell Crab sandwich (my wife had never had SSC before and because I was not a fan of the turnip), Asado con Palta y Cebolla Frita and the Gallina Bites! All three were OUTSTANDING!! Highly recommend!! We loved your restaurant and the food was beyond our wildest dreams!! We will pass the word along that this is a “Must Go To Place” when in Miami! We will be back! Keep up the great job!!

This establishment was a pleasant surprise for my wife and I! We literally just googled nearby restaurants and found this place by chance. Everything on the menu is exquisitely enticing! Even the condiments are phenomenal! You have to try the blueberry ketchup! Definitely a must try!

I kept hearing about this place and had to try it out for myself. Wow!!! They know how to make delicious food and for a great price. I went for lunch with a friend and ordered the lunch special. Comes with a drink/sandwich/side. $13.99. I ordered the pork belly sandwich and he ordered the braised beef. I don't remember the names. I ordered gallina bites as a side and he ordered the sweet potato fries. We split our sandwiches and sides so we can try both. Holy moly! Talk about flavorful food. This place is off the chain! Delicious sandwiches and sides. We went back 2 days latter and ordered the grilled cheese and short rib sandwiches. Same effect! We said wow!!! The food at this place is great. The place is tiny but very clean and decorated nice. Only negative I have to say is that I wished they had fries or truffle fries on the menu. Great place for lunch.

After seeing an episode of DDD, my wife and I decided to try this highly recommended restaurant. We shared 2 sandwiches: the Panceta (Pork Belly) En Caja China ($11.99 pork belly cooked in caja china with fried sweet potato chips and cevichada mayo served on a homemade bun) and the Asado con Palta y Cebolla Frita ($11.99 eye of the round roast with avocado slices and crispy red onion served on a homemade bun). Needless to say the buns were wonderfully fresh and delicious. The fillings for both sandwiches were unique, but nothing special.

The most delicious Caouccino and Passion fruit mouse on a Miami cold day. The service was awesome! The place is clean and the menu is extremely varied.

Came to Mr. & Mrs. Bun on a recommendation with a friend. Was absolutely surprised and taken in by the lovely atmosphere. Small, quaint and stylish. The food was absolutely delicious and their blueberry ketchup is unbelievable. Sounds strange, I know, but it will surprise you. Everything is made in house and that is what also makes it amazing. Sandwiches are scrumptious, and smoothies are refreshing and tasty. Would not hesitate to go back and try out a few more things. :) i would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The food here was served very quickly and was a very high quality. Staff very helpful and nice. Only issue was the coffee smelt slightly but this is something we overlooked due to the high quality of everything else.

The food is amazing and the customer service is very good too. The food really has a unique flavor and the desserts are too die for.

Cute little restaurant serving Peruvian fusion sandwiches. Incredible taste and flavor. How creative and imaginative and everything is homemade starting with the bread and desserts. Nobody will be disappointing that's for sure.

We started with a new item they had the tamal wrapped in bacon. This was excellent. I had the loaded baked potato soup and it was excellent as well. For dessert we had the baileys flan and it was also very good.

A great small place with excellent food and friendly courteous service , went there with my sister and brother in law ( All Foodies :) ) as we had heard from other family members it was a good place to go to so got invited at my Birthday ...Absolutely loved it ...the ambiance, the service and the food made it all a great 1st time experience...and I promise you ,will not be the last !

Phenomenal food. Had the short rib sandwich for lunch. The beef empanada was probably the best I have ever had-period. Service was friendly. If you are looking for a great West Kendall option-look no further.

This review is long overdue. Had lunch here a few months back. The decor is lovely, the service is excellent the food is fresh but I had one minor problem...the music! It was like 3pm on a Thursday and they were playing loud club type music (the kind that is the same beat regardless of the song). It was sufficiently annoying that my husband was developing a migraine and we had to leave half way through our meal. Its also a small place so the tables are really close together which makes it hard to have a conversation without your neighbors hearing you especially since you are trying to talk over the music. That aside, we ordered the Short Rib Sandwich with Horseradish sauce-which was delicious, and the Asado with palta sandwich which was "ok". The guanabana and passion fruit juices were delicious and refreshing. They bring your tab in a cute, hinged, wooden box and they offer lots of great looking desserts but I can't comment on those because we couldn't stick around to try any.

The food was amazing, inexpensive and very tasty. The buns, deserts are home made, beer local, and the Peruvian twist is really to die for. I could not finish my sandwich after we ordered an appetizer... Great service and really great ambiance.

It is an 8 table restaurant in a strip mall in Kendall. The ffod and service are excellent. We started with the gallina balls and the baked potato soup This is not a typical soup as it has seafood and a hard boiled egg. This is a great soup. We also had the short rib sandwich and the carne asada sandwich. They both have different special sauces like chimi and Avocado. The desserts are excellent as well. This is a must try when in the area.

Fresh food excellent service I went with my family and everything was perfect...I love the pork belly and the short rib . For dessert I have the magic bar and my wife the Lucuma a pie... Great spot, great food , great service... 5 stars indeed Great experience at all, highly recommended to everyone

Really good place and excellent food. It's cheap and the services is personalized becouse it's a small place.

Very cute place. I liked: The clean small but comfortable restaurant The great menu options The lemonade The price and I LOVED the tuna bruschetta. I didn't like: How salty the sandwich and fries were.

Excellent food and service at this little place in a strip mall. The clam corn chowder was delicious, as were the sandwiches.

We went to the establishment as I saw them on “Diners, Drive-In’s & Dives”. We can’t stop gushing over the food we ate. The coconut tres Leche cake was moist & had a delicate crumb. The mango drink was as if you were eating a piece of mango, so bright tasting. The beef empanada had great flavor & crust was light & flaky. The barbecue chicken sandwich was tender & flavorful. The star of our meal was my pork belly sandwich. Crisp, well cooked meat. Well married condiments & seasonings. The bread was soft. If you are a local & haven’t eaten here, shame on you. Best meal we had in Miami. Sadly, going back to the Midwest tomorrow 😢 Thank you for a memorable meal.

The food at Mr. & Mrs. Bun is phenomenal! The restaurant serves a variety of creative sandwiches and desserts. I tried the Asado De Tira (Short Rib) with Horse Radish Mayonese+Chimichurri, the Roasted Potatoes with Garlic & Parsley, and the Lucuma Pie With Oreo Crust. The Short Rib Sandwich was perfect! The meat was tender and juicy, the horseradish mayo and chimichurri added a nice balance of kick, creaminess, and flavor, and the bun was perfectly soft. The Roasted Potatoes were lightly crispy on the outside and seasoned nicely with the perfect amount of garlic and parsley. Finally the Lucuma Pie dessert was sweet, lightly tart, and had a nice crunchiness from the oreo crust. Overall, Mr. & Mrs. Bun is the type of place I will try to visit every time I travel to Miami.

We heard about the Peruvian couple’s restaurant (love family owned eateries) on Triple D. My son had an appointment in Kendall so we found a reason to stop by for lunch after driving 70 miles from home. We ordered chicken fingers for my son tasting very good served with red and blueberry ketchup. The blueberry is house made and extremely well tasting with a hot, large portion of shoestring fries served in a cute metallic bucket. My husband enjoyed the Asado con Palta specialty sandwich stacked high with meat, avocado and crispy red onion on their house made bun. The meat was flavorful and very tender. I enjoyed my Butifarra of cured ham, aioli sauce, salsa criolla and some pickled red onion also on their superb bun. As a side, we liked the dark roasted garlic, parsley potatoes. The sandwiches were filling, and beverages were famous brand bottled lemonade and iced tea you can purchase anywhere in supermarkets. We were disappointed they didn’t offer their own house made beverage as above. Perhaps they serve something Peruvian, but we didn’t notice on the menu. We didn’t try their desserts, unfortunately. Visit their website with good photos with descriptions of the sandwiches and/or salads.

I had a super experience at this place. Outstanding food, service and ambiance, everything for a good price. The pork belly sandwich is to die for, a must try!

Went with my son for lunch. We started with the tamale wrapped with bacon and it was great. we each had the baked potato soup and it was excellent. It had shrimp and potato as well as an egg. For dessert we can the Oreo cheesecake and the brownie cheesecake. All the food here is great.

This places is amazing. Small place but the food is amazing. Great customer service. Food is made with love and you can feel it. Everything made in the house and taste amazing. I really enjoy this place and I would come back for sure and for more food to try! Este sitio es fenomenal. La comida esta hecha con amor y se siente. Todo esta hecho en casa y es muy delicioso. El servicio muy bueno!

1st the staff was great from the owner to all the employees were super. The samwitches were some of the best we have had. Try the toasted cheese and beef were both very good .also had the corn on the cob. Try the blueberry Ketchup. A must stop if you are in Miami.

Second visit and just as good as the first. Had their grilled cheese which is perfectly crispy and buttery on the outside while ewy gewy melted cheese in the inside. In addition to cheddar, it also has Brie. So they serve it with a delicious jam that perfectly complements the sandwich.

Went for lunch. We started with the chicharrones with truffle sauce. We both had the loaded baked potato soup. It had shrimp, crawfish, and and and egg in a great broth. It is my favorite dish there. Unfortunately they only have it on the weekend

We went to eat on a Saturday afternoon when opened and was pretty full except for our table waiting for us. Located in a strip mall on Sunset with a hip vibe decoration inside that was homey. They seated us right away and served water in mason jars. We ordered # 2 which is an eye round roast beef (boliche) slices thin but super tasty with slices of avocado & some more sauce on the side. Nice portion with great flavor. #9 Jalea mixta which is peruvian dish on a bun. It comes with slice of fish, squid, lettuce and slice red onion on a bun. The sauce that came on the side was their version of tartar sauce but super salty for my taste. Of course we ordered a side of sweet potato fries with a blueberry ketchup that is a must try. All of our buns were fantastic and I would highly recommend in trying this place. Great place to have a chic & tasty place in this part of town.

This is the best sandwich restaurant in Miami, they participated on a Food Network show with Guy Fieri. I tried his recommendation which it was well marked on the menu and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

The Asado con Palto y Cebolla Frita Sandwich was amazing! The same meat is used in the Empanada...great folks running the place....another TripleD success... truly a gem! If you're within 2500 miles of this place get there....we did!

We went after an Everglades excursion. It was delicious and the owners are super kind. We ate everything. The stand outs were the brisket sandwich, as well as the pork, not the bbq, the other. The seafood sandwich was great as well along with all the sides. The soup and desserts were also amazing. Hard to give a sandwich place 5 stars, but this one comes close! The lunch was pricey, mainly because we ordered dessert, but the sandwiches are plenty big enough to share.

Food was good. Service good. A small place so be aware of busy times. If you want your appetizers before the meal, be sure to tell them. Otherwise, you will get all your food at once.

The food is very good, original and tasty. The menu is simple however everything look yummy. The service is very good.

I just tried "bacon wrap tamales" and "fried dumplins" DELICIOUS! Sandwich: asado de tira is my favorite! Always a nice place to go in the suburb of Kendall

One of our best friend took us to this place and what a wonderful surprise!! The service is 5 stars and it always happens when you have one of the owners, Claudia, serving tables and dealing straight up with the customers. The Food is out of this World: Exquisite!!! My personal favorite is the Pancetta or Pork Belly. My kids have become addicted and want to dine there every week. The deserts are spectacular too.

I can't say enough great things about this place but I will try. Everyone before me has rated it five stars and there are many many reasons why. We discovered this place right after it opened and have consistently gone there at least one time a month. The drive out to 157 and Sunset may seem far for some but if you make a night out of it and combine it with a movie or drinks elsewhere you won't regret it. Also don't be discouraged if there is a wait to get in. They turn over tables very quickly. Quick note: they don't have their liquor license so they only serve minimal wine and beer. Honestly just drank the water all the times I have been and never really felt like oh wish I would have had a drink with this. The food is just that delicious. We have pretty much tried everything on the menu- from the sandwiches to the sides, the starters and even the only on the weekends specials. Below is my ranking of the items we have tried. It would be repetitive to say oh this is so great and that dish is so tasty. So here is me hoping you will explore and take advantage of this list: Jalea sandiwch Asado de Tira sandwich Pollo chi jau kay con nabo encurtido sandwich Panceta (pork belly) en caja china sandwich Aji de gallina empanada Roasted potatoes with garlic Aji de gallina bites Boneless chicken wing sandwich Maple cumin corn Baked potato (weekends only) A tip- if you can make it here for lunch they have a lunch special that allows you to get a full sandwich plus any side for just a few dollars more. Just writing this review makes me want to run there and grab a jalea. YUM!

Went for dinner last night. Had the tomato/basil soup which was good and the short rib sandwich which was a bit dry. The leche asada for dessert was OK. Do not expect traditional peruvian food here.

A great friend of mine brought me to this little hideaway in SW Miami and wow what a delight! The place is tucked away into a little strip mall so don’t be fooled, this place is off the chain with a scrumptious looking menu but the best part is the food is better than the pictures, way better! We went on a Saturday and luckily for me they made a special “soup/stew” deal on weekends. Friendly, small and very enjoyable crowd and staff made this little gem a great big discovery.

In a little strip mall in west kendall. We started with the galling bites and it was great. She had the grilled cheese sandwich and I had the loaded baked potato soup. It had a complete baked potato with shrimp and soup in a bowl and it was amazing. Definitely a hidden jew.

Was very surprised to find such good cooking and atmosphere in a seemingly standard mall. Got a superb tomato soup, delicious sandwich and potatoes. Very friendly service.

A small friendly resturant with a very good and different salad and soup & sandwich menu, My sandwich, pork skin, was excellent, on a small bun with tomatoes and a pickle. My friend had lentil soup and a delicious kale salad

Needed a place to eat before an airboat ride and chose this place. It was simply amazing. Great service and great food. The pork belly was the best.

We randomly found this place online during our drive home from the Keys. It's a super cute spot but extremely tiny so I am sure it gets really busy during main dining hours. After a few minutes we were able to sit down to enjoy a late lunch/early dinner. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. The menu offers amazing sandwiches, empanadas, soup & a variety of other options. My husband and I both ordered the number 7- The short rib sandwich. It was amazing! One of the best sandwiches I've had. I am happy we each ordered our own, we wouldn't have shared. We also ordered the side of sweet potato fries which were also delicious. I hands down recommend stopping here if you are in the area. It's also extremely clean inside, which is a huge bonus during travels. Enjoy!

Just had dinner here with my fiancé. The sandwiches were the bomb and the spinach empanada was phenomenal. The desserts all sounded amazing and we were sad only one would fit in our stomachs. Definitely recommend!

This place is truly excellent and well deserved all the praise. We came for lunch on a Saturday. Had a special appetizer of blood sausage, humus on crusty toast bread. Delicious. Then the short rib sandwich. Would be a regular if I lived in the area.

The decor inside this hidden gem is so cute. The food and how they plate it, I loved it, it is so simple yet it is very well put together. Their buns are amazing, if you come here need to try their burgers first. They also have filling appetizers and they are so good and refreshing (alc and non-alc) and their mason jars are adorable.

We had a nice dinner out, just the Mr. and I. The sandwiches were tasty. The clam and corn chowder; although, not very thick and more like a broth, it was very flavorful. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Food presentation is very appealing. Overall we had a pleasant time and will definitely add Mr & Mrs Bun to our list of restaurants.

Who would have told us that we would find a quaint high quality Peruvian sandwich shop in a local strip mall? This place exceeded al expectations. Very high quality sandwiches on Artisan Buns. All ingredients fresh. Service was very good. Ambiance was casual yet quaint. There is sit down service and the staff is there to please. Highly recommend! Great place for a casual lunch or quick snack.

This place had such cute decorations, tables, chairs, menus, receipt books and everything. I highly recommend stopping by! I had chowder soup, a sandwich and the Peruvian oreo dessert. It was all so amazing. My favorite dish was definitely the soup. The waiters were so kind, they stayed open late and provided great accommodations for our large group in their small restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Food made fresh and comes out hot without too much wait time. This was my first time visiting Mr. & Mrs. Bun but I will be back.

The service is great, the food is better and not expensive at all. The octopus apettizers is to die for. I will definitely come back soon with my troop

Great tiny restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. Great quality food and outstanding service. Had lunch at this place during our recent visit to Miami, FL

This restaurant has a unique selection of savory sandwiches. From the grilled cheese to the pancetta, you will not be disappointed! The soups and sides compliment any choice of sandwich. Leave room for dessert! Nutella, dulce leche, cheesecake jars are creatively concocted. Service was excellent, too! Enjoy!

After doing the tour of Shark Valley in the Everglades, we were very hungry. Not knowing where to eat I Googled places nearby. WOW, what a find. The restaurant is in a nondescript strip center but don't let this put you off. The inside is small but well designed and immaculately clean. The menu is mostly gourmet sandwiches and there are many choices with unusual ingredients. The personable owner came over and explained the menu choices to us. I chose the Asado con Palta Y Cebolla Frita and my husband chose the Boneless Chicken Wing sandwich. We also had the Fried Dumplings as an appetizer. All were delicious! Also, the mimosa and homemade Sangria hit the spot after a hot afternoon at the park. They also have a great selection of homemade desserts but we were stuffed from the sandwiches so we had to pass.

High quality food. We chose various appetizers and all of them were very very good, would definitely go back here. The attention was lovely as well.

We started with something called the breakfast pastry with and egg, their home made bread wrapped in bacon. Did you say bacon? For main course I had the baked potato soup and it was excellent as usual. Also, you cant go wrong with their dessert.

Had Sandwiches to go, the were still warm and good at home. Probably better at the restaurant but nevertheless, a nice place and very good food.

The place was small but with a very good service. we visited this restaurant because of the positive reviews in Yelp. The pork belly was excellent. we will come back for sure

Cozy place south and west of Miami, worth the drive. Hamburger/sandwiches couple soups and bites, but every item from the menu not only looks great but tastes phenomenal. We ordered a substantial amount of food and a bottle of bubbles, which gets u a free appetizer :) when times for desserts came....get ready! This could be a destination just to have deserts, large selection of 3leches,4leches,pisco,cheesecake dough, total craziness but delicious. Please give urself the opportunity to visit this place

This is a really good place when you want to eat a really good sandwiches, appetizers, etc. Is a small restaurant but the food is excellent. We had their fried dumplings with short rib and cream cheese which was reallyyyyy good and different from what I have had before. Their Pork Belly (en caja china) is just one of their best sandwiches. Their Spaquetti al Pesto Rolls where so good and different and their roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley best I have tried. Highly recommended this place. Their desert are also really good

We stopped at Mr & Mrs Bun on our way back from an Everglades tour. it’s a 10 min drive from the main road, WOW it was well worth the detour. The food was outstanding, the staff were very attentive and polite. We would highly recommend MR & Mrs Bun,

This little place deserves mu accolades! the food is first quality, excellent customer service, clan place, friendly staff. everything that we tried was awesome! the seafood sandwich is yummy.. the roasts beef also was quite tasty.. we tried a lentil, tabbouleh salad that was very good and some chicken and rice balls appetizer that were quite tasty.... save room for the desserts... very unique, very yummy... and all this at very reasonable prices... You can tell they are proud of the restaurant, because they really care about the clients and the food they serve at this place..

I visited Mr.& Mrs.Bun yesterday for the first time. I was nicely impressed by how clean and cozy the place is. At a glance to the menu I was tempted to order everything however I took Vanessa's advice to try the Aji de Gallina bites and the soup of the day (simply delicious) Definitely will return to try more of their home specialties.

We got lucky and found this golden gem of a restaurant. The menu had a wide variety of yummy choices. The service was fantastic; quick, efficient and friendly. This is a place for a return visit!

Wow. I cannot say wow enough!!! From the minute, we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome from the chef/owner. He told us about the amazing specials and offered great recommendations. I had a mango mimosa which was delicious and my friend had a sangria which she enjoyed. We started with the criolla soup and it was amazing. Delicious and so flavorful. We also had bacon wrapped tamales. So good and didn't even need the dipping sauce but the sauce was great. For the meal we shared pollo chi jao Kai. The fried chicken wasn't an overwhelming coating and the pickled turnips and carrots elevated the flavor. I had to take the desserts to go bc I was beyond full. I got the cookies and cream and 4 leches Lucuma to share the other my daughter. OMG. The 4leches was so sweet but so good. Oreo was mouselike and delicious. I can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend Mr & Mrs Bun

Creative and delicious, this place has a unique approach to sandwiches. While most of the menu appears to be heavily influenced by Latin culture, they also infuse Asian culture in their menu. This place is a bit south of Miami. I was surprised that it still listed a Miami address. Not sure it was worth the travel. Glad I did it once.

I eat here once a week. I’ve been eating here for one year, once a week. I can’t get enough. The food is consistently amazing. Owners are really nice.

We had short rib dumplings very tasty We also ordered the crab sandwich and pork belly sandwich both were delicious topping it off with dessert. Perfect little dessert to end the night. Great place I'll be adding to my list of GO TO PLACES. !!!

I love this little place. Owner by a young couple, he cooks and she oversees the front of the house. It's decor looks like it belongs in South Miami instead of West Kendall. The food is fresh and well thought out. It's mainly sandwiches. I had the Short Rib while hubby had the Butifarra. It's Peruvian cusine with a twist. Also shared sweet potato fries with blueberry ketchup. Yes, blueberry ketchup! It was so good!!! The desserts are my favorite part of this little place. They change weekly.

I had not been here in a bit and decided to go back. I love their baked potato soup with shrimp and many other goodies. We started with a couple appetizers as well as 2 of their famous sandwiches and a couple of desserts. All the food was very good and their service is great as well.

Mr. & Mrs. Bun pleasantly surprised. The featured sandwiches are traditional Peruvian and they are amazing - butifarra (ham, lettuce, onion), triple (avocado, tomato, egg), chi jua kay chicken (classic "chifa" chinese fusion sandwich), among others. Everything we ordered was fresh, authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, as is the excellent service. There is a wide selection of desserts that come in a mason jar or scrumptious looking cakes. Prices are mid-range, but the quality and atmosphere was so high, I'm confident in saying that this restaurant represents a great value.

This is the ideal place for someone who loves buns...whether it's slices of bread or burger buns...it is amazing. All sandwiches taste amazing and the service is extremely friendly.

I'll begin by saying that I don't like sandwiches so to be on the safe side I ordered a soup and it was delicious. Then my husband and I ordered different kinds of sandwiches to try and both were amazingggg . But remember to leave space for desert because everything is to die for or better yet to eat for!!!!

Went with family for a late dinner and we each tried something different. Had a bite of the “Asado con Palta”, very nice. Had a bite of the “Asado de Tira”, also excellent. My order was the “Grilled Cheese” which was also rather tasty. Excellent food all around. Had some “chicharrón “ and some “potatoes with garlic and parsley” as side which were AWESOME. Friendly staff, good food. Stop by and see for yourself.

Yes, just like the title of this review, I was surprised it was a Peruvian restaurant. The first time I eat at a Peruvian restaurant that it failed to serve ceviche, but it was a great surprise at the vast and tasty menu they offer. The Smoked tuna bruschetta and Lentil table salad were amazing, and served hardy. I have returned several times since I went there in May for the first time. They don't disappoint.

500% RECOMMENDED Amazing service, amazing food, beautiful cute place, THE DESSERTS DIOS deliciously prepared like in abuela's house.

I’m always on the lookout for good cheap eats in Miami and came across this Peruvian sandwich spot in Kendall. We ordered the Aji de Gallina bites, which were fine, and the Asado de Tira (short rib) and Pollo Chi Japan Kai (fried chicken) sandwiches. I liked both — the bread is fantastic and the toppings keep things interesting — but preferred the later. Portions are solid and the desserts at the counter are enticing, if you somehow still have room.

The hubby and I have seen this episode on Triple D many times, and wanted to visit. As soon as we got out of the Miami airport, we headed straight here. The place is in a small strip mall and not very big (it looked bigger on TV). We were able to be quickly seated. It took a while for them to take our orders (or maybe it felt like it because we were starving) You must order the Chicharrones. I swear, these were the best freaking Chicharrones that I have ever had in my life. The truffle oil, spices and lemon used were highly addictive. The short rib dumplings were delicious as well. As far as the sandwiches, the pork belly was a little dry and had a lot of fatty pieces on them. To me, it was just ok. The asado sandwich had much more flavor to them. I will say, the buns are fresh and soft. However, the star of the night had to be the Chupe de Camarones (which is only served on Saturday and Sundays) I loved this a lot more than the sandwiches. It was so fresh tasting and flavorful. It was creamy too, without being heavy. For dessert, we had the espresso which is served with a piece of biscotti-this was delicious as well. Overall, Mr and Mrs Bun did not disappoint and I am happy we checked this off our Triple D bucket list.

Amazing food and great customer service! I recommend the jalea and panceta sandwich.. And as a dessert the suspiro a la limeña pie 👍🏾

Just finished our Airboat tour of the Everglades and wanted something yummy for dinner...We found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Absolutely delicious! We started with the Aji de Gallina Bites...tasted like chicken soup in a crunchy ball form (yummy). I had the Grilled Cheese with the Roasted Tomato and Basil Cream Soup! OMG, this is not your ordinary grilled cheese (made with cheddar and brie)! Comfort food on a whole other level. My husband had the short rib sandwich with Sweet Potato fries and he was quite pleased (the sweet potato fries are amazing...no really amazing!) We are from California and prefer to avoid chain restaurants...this is a real find! You will not be disappointed!

I had heard about this place from reading online reviews so I had to check it out. I was not disappointed! Everything we had was very flavourful. Absolutely delicious! I'll have to go back on my next trip to Miami!

My Wife and I had heard about Mr. & Mrs Buns from a friend. This place is tuck in a small shopping center off 157th Ave . in Kendall not super easy to see . But since going the different types of Sandwich, sides , soups and salads are excellent also there creative dessert are perfectly size and delicious too. This place is a must place to go in Kendall. The staff is very friendly as well.

AMAZING food
I eat at this restaurant weekly. The food is amazing and prepared by its family owned staff. I especially like the pork belly sandwich!
