Nice and fun

Casual dinner with a couple of colleagues. Located in Chinatown the restaurant offers menu formulas for 2 or 4 people absolutely convenient, we ate abundantly in 3 with the menu for two. Good meat and fun environment with K-pop videos in the background.

Philly's Most Delicious & Memorable Korean BBQ

By SEY |

Near Chinatown, Mr. Pig offers tabletop Korean bbq in a modern, spacious setting. Everyone is greeted by the waitstaff upon entering the restaurant and the overall feeling is of warm hospitality. We began with Mr. Pig's kimchi seafood pancakes which were delicious. Following our kimchi pancakes, our server/griller set the table with a bunch of sides along with rice to go with our beef/chicken combo for bbq. After a swipe of the grill plate with half an onion, our server grilled the onion, mushroom and peppers followed by the chicken and beef choices which he also cut in manageable pieces. Everything was grilled to perfection. Afterwards we were left to enjoy our bbq. The exhaust system must be great because there is no smell from other tables nor was there any smells on our clothing. The quality and taste of the food was above par. Moreover, it's a lot of fun. Thank you Jae S for giving us the best experience and great memories.

My first tripadvisor review, wooooo!

By Journey40076504469 |

Trying to find a website for this place and ended up here on tripadvisor. I am shocked there aren't reviews already. My experience was amazing so I had to be the first to review this place. I was down in Philly for a Phillies/Mets game (we lost by like double digits, it was horrible) and was starving so we decided to check out a local Korean BBQ place. Mr. Pig was the only place open so we headed there. It's been over a month since the game but the experience was super memorable. Great selection of meats, drinks with real grapes (skinless), staff was attentive & food was delicious. Prices were reasonable and well worth the cost. The reason I'm trying to find a website for this place is because I'm coming back down to Philly and wanted to check it out & share with some friends but alas... no website. Anyway, if you happen to be near this place, check it out.
