Food and staff are amazing Highly recommend Prices are very reasonable Good to go for lunch or dinner

Wonderful place! Good food! Ana Brazilian served us very well! Golden girl! We ate the picay, rice and beans and the delicious rosti potato! Approval! Note a thousand!

We arrived and it was busy crazy! They have indoor/outdoor dinning and carry out. We decided carry out. We ordered the Chicken Catupiry Rosti, Brazilian Coconut Shrimp Platter, and Mix of Chicken Drops and Cheese Balls. The manager that helped us was so nice letting us order what we wanted on Sunday Brunch hours. And when we needed to change our order up a bit after ordering she was very kind and understanding. The food was amazing. The Rosti had crispy outside and soft inside the creaminess of the soft cheese on top and the chicken inside...WOW! The Brazilian Coconut Shrimp with white rice, crispy toppings, and farofa just mouth watering yumminess! And for cheese stick lovers the cheese balls are the most amazing! You’ll never want a cheese ball from anywhere else! Overall great staff, great food, and great place to have a meal with a date or family!

Amazing!!! How many words can I pull out of a dictionary to describe how you HAVE to come here!! There should be a law that states you can’t leave Orlando until you stop by here first! Seriously, the Rosti Potato filled with all of it’s meat goodness is something you have to experience! I see why Guy F put his stamp on it. We sat there watching people come in all night for orders to go and some stayed. This place is worthy of every great review. I am just one more!!! You MUST come and experience this yourself!!

Great Brazilian food a little different flavorful. Tastefully decorated with me potato heads all around restaurant

While in Orlando, I decided to visit Mrs. Potato, which also happens to be a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives place. The actual dining room was quite small. It also had a large patio, and being a beautiful day that was where my server Nathanial seated me. The menu was extensive with the main focus on potatoes. You could get most potatoes either as baked or rosti. A rosti is a Brazilian dish that has crispy shredded potato (like hash browns) on the outside and soft filling on the inside. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Rosti. The Rosti was quite large taking up most of the plate. The shredded potato on the outside was nice and crispy. The filling was fresh and hot. The cheese was super ooey gooey and the meat was bite-sized, well seasoned, and tender. The onions and peppers were also very good, I only wish there more of them. The garlic sauce on the side was also a nice touch. Nathaniel was attentive. The place even had entertainment. The strip mall is beside a forest, and while I was finishing my wine a racoon walked past the patio on the sidewalk, stopped, took a look at us and then carried on his way. It happened so fast I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. Nice end to a lovely evening.

Great option in Orlando for wanting to eat real food! A delight, excellent service, a wonder! A fair price!

Now THAT was fun! The Brazilian-style cuisine served in this friendly little place is DELICIOUS. The servers were amazingly attentive, and kept bringing me little "tastes" of different items to help me decide. They do a rather unique dish that they call a "Rosti," which is essentially a skillet of shredded hash brown-style potatoes, with a meat filling (many options on that part), and is then cooked until the potatoes are golden brown & wonderfully crisp! Terrific! I also enjoyed the cod fish croquettes, and if you like spicy, just ask for a side of some of the most amazing house-made hot sauce I've ever had. My only criticism was the heat. It was very unpleasantly warm in the restaurant, and my enjoyment of the meal suffered as a result. I hope they fix that problem, because I can't wait for the autumn to go back again. By the way, they also have a large screened patio dining area, so if it's comfortable outside, that's the spot!

Good attention but the food was not tasty. Photos of the dishes do not look like reality. I was very disappointed.

Visited for lunch on 08/11/23. Ordered: Chicken Drops and Cod Fritters Carne Seca Rosti Chicken Catupiry Empanada Kids Burger and Fries Banana Empanada All items were full of flavor and very well prepared. Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. This will be added as a must visit each time we come to Orlando!

Typical Brazilian food.....very unique taste, great service ...enjoy some "pastel" really pays to try!

I love food network and the episode of diners drive ins and drives reviewed it. So dad and I went there and it was the truth we had chicken catupry empanada and beef empanadas.but the main attraction was carne seca which was a hashbrown cake with Brazilian which I want them to sell that and they would make a fortune.the food was unlike I have ever had before.that carne seca i would go back please allow 25 minutes for the cake to cook but it was worth it and the empanadas were delicious so please goooooookmkkkkm

The service was great and food was even better! A very small place that stays at capacity. Our server is adorable and very helpful for first-timers. Casseroles and comfort food are a staple for me and this really hit the spot. We had three varieties of the rosti (stuffed hashbrowns) and all were phenomenal ... chicken with cream-cheese-like, sausage, and beef. Lucky we saved room for dessert because the churros and dulce de leche were delicious. Everything looks as scrumptious as the pictures. You will not be disappointed!

Great food. If you are missing Brazilian food, this is a great place to catch-up. Pastéis, picanha, etc. service is also very good.

Saw this on Diners Drive In & Dives so thought we would give it a try while in the area. Excellent food! We tried a few items on their menu. We tried the cheese balls and chicken drops combo appetizer, carne seca empanada, cheese empanada, shrimp empanada and we had to try the famous chicken catupuri rosti which was Devine! The food was so delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend. Thanks Guy!

This evening we had the pleasure of dining at Mrs potato restaurant located at 4550 South Kirkman road in Orlando, Florida. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely waitress who seated us at our table and was so helpful in explaining the menu and even had a tablet with pictures of the food on it. We placed our food and drinks order and within 5 or 10 minutes our starter was out, the waitress even explained the dipping sauces that accompanied our food as this was our first time eating Brazilian - American food. We opted for cheese balls & chicken drops as our starters and they were so tasty & hit the spot after a long day of shopping. We had a wonderful Brazilian coconut shrimp dish that was mouthwatering and so delicious. The other choices made were Philly cheese steak Rosti & calabresa sausage rosti and it was all devoured. It’s no wonder Guy from Diners, drive ins and dives raved about the place. The owner of the restaurant even made time to come over and speak to us, it has a great atmosphere and brilliant staff. I would highly recommend you try this restaurant for yourself some time.

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out this place after seeing it on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I've lived in the area for 2 years and never realized it was right down the road. I got the barbeque chicken rosti, a kind of stuffed hashbrown. It was delicious, the chicken was tender and flavorful. I tried the garlic sauce which complemented the potatoes perfectly. It was a little pricey, I think next time we will just split one, but it's worth the price to try it! We will be back!

Brazilian-American Fusion. Small but welcoming establishment. Service was great and the waitress took the time to explain the various menu options. We tried the chicken drops (both the garlic and sweet chili sauces were good), chicken empanada (salsa that came with it was a perfect pairing), and carne seca rosti. My daughter (8) loved the burger and fries (I may have stolen multiple fries as they were fantastic). For dessert, we all shared the banana empanada with ice cream. Would love to return and try the chicken parm and steak gnocchi!

This unique restaurant has a very pleasant screened in area for outside dining. Featured tgere was a,table with six varieties of soup with a fresh collection of fixings to further stylized the soup. The empanada had a wonderfully flakey crust, but the stuffing was a bit lacking. When the potato rosi arrived, I was already full! Still I managed to eat half of this monster sized entree.

Really good food - very different and delicious. Service was great as well. Of course tried the potato dishes and all went delicious.

My first two visits here were top notch and I gave rave reviews. The one yesterday was full of disappointment. I've noticed two price increases since my first visit last year. That would be ok, but the quality of the meal is no longer top notch. The pictures on the wall show the carne seca rosti (a Guy Fieri fave according to the menu) loaded with meat. I've had one like it and it was amazing, which is why I am a return customer. The one I received yesterday had almost no meat at all. It was a pile of hash browns with very minimal meat filling, nothing like the robust serving pictured on the wall. I made mention to the waiter and he said he would check with the kitchen, but never mentioned any follow up. Guy Fieri would not be impressed. I know my friend visiting from out of state wasn't. I will no longer recommend the restaurant to friends or drive over an hour to stop in. Very disappointed.

We loved this place, from the empanadas, to the rosti stuffed hash browns, to the caipriaha drinks! We would make this our first stop every time.

I never try Brazilian food before but this spot is worth it to stop by, guarantee i'll coming back... I love their empanadas and the servers are lovely too

The food is great, although a bit on the pricey side for potatoes and chicken, when you consider you can have some seafood for the same price. We can't get ourselves to give more than 2 stars, not just because of pricing, but the service was horrible. They were friendly, but both of our experiences were bad. We had never had an experience where a waitress came to our table to take our order, then never came again until the check was given. She was friendly in taking our order, but it may be a good idea to pass by every so often. Being it was our first visit, we let her know that once we began our meal, we would have a good idea on whether we would order more, but we honestly were never even given the chance. The place was empty so we're not sure what the excuse was. Although they were relatively friendly, don't expect them to earn their gratuities. After some time, we agreed their food was good, but would only consider doing takeout after a few months, we called to make an order. They advised us the pricing had changed. We told her their website's menu showed pricing different than she was sharing by $4 each plate and she said "those prices are wrong now". We advised her to cancel the order because it sounded like their "new pricing" was too high at almost $20 a pop. Despite the order cancellation, about an hour later, we received a call informing us that our order was ready and waiting to be picked-up. It sounds like being on TV helped people get to the door. Keeping people coming may be the issue.

Took my mom here when she came to visit me. It was my first time there as well. The food was delicious but the service could have been better. The waitress took our order in a timely manner but she did not come back to check if the food was to our liking for a long time. At which time I needed a refill on my drink and took a while to her the refill. When we we ready for the check we waited another 15-20 min for it even though they were not busy. The food was good so will definitely be back but will take my order to go.

Nice cozy casual atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food was great. Really enjoyed everything. Will come back again another time.

This is a charming little place in Orlando where unexpected great food is served. We went looking for some good Brazilian meal and were surprised to find much more than that. The potato specialty dishes are nothing like we had before. Basically loaded hash browns for all tastes and likes. The soup bar was a delicacy and the prices are affordable as dishes are a great money value. Our kids loved it and dream with coming back though we live thousands of miles away. We would totally recommend this place.

Just by the name of this place I knew I needed to go— little did I know just how much I would enjoy it!! First of all, Mrs Potato was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, so if that doesn’t give you an idea of how good their food is I don’t know what will. When you first walk in there are dozens of potato head figures set up, and it just gives you a goofy, good feeling. And yes, their specialty is POTATOES. Our waitress was seriously so amazing, and she did a great job explaining what some of the menu was, since they have a Brazilian background to them. I wanted to try at least 6 different options because they all sounded good. The empanadas were just fantastic, I will be dreaming about those for a while, especially the shrimp catupiry one- YUM. I got one of the potato dishes rosti style, which basically means the filling is wrapped in hashbrowns, and man was it good. It’s not really the type of dish I’d usually choose so I probably wouldn’t get it again, but I still went to town on it and would recommend it. I have a hard time even explaining how good this place is, there was not one thing I tried that I didn’t immediately fall in love with, I mean what a restaurant. All the workers were great too, I am just absolutely blown away.

We found this restaurant on diners, drive ins and dives. The food was cooked to order and well prepared. Every item that we ordered exceeded our expectations. The service was great and the staff suggested menu items. The family wanted to make a second visit but we could not fit into the schedule. I recommend everyone stop by and give them a try.

This is a relatively small location and felt kinda cramped with others. The menu choices were appealing, however, the food was just average as well as the service. Could have just been one of those nights. If in the area, worth a try for the options they have but would not have as high expectations as the current #19 rating on Tripadvisor.

Great place!!!!!! Come one and all. We came here because of Diners/Drive-Inns/Dives We will be back !!!!!!

Mrs. Potatoe has the best risto. I had never heard of the place before but my daughter seen it on tiktok. The food was so good. The risto was so crisp and tasty. The restaurant was very small inside but they did have outdoor seating as well. The only negative I can say is the table got black marks all over our hands, arms and shirts. Was very strange. Never had this issue before.

The ultimate burger was fanatic. The empanadas were fantastic, The basically stuffed hash browns were fantastic. The price was modest not expensive. Our waiter brought us samples of food we did know but wanted to try. Overall great atmosphere for a rather small place.

Small casual Brazilian restaurant serving potato based menu, located at the end of the strip mall. Their house specialty is the Rosti- stuffed hash brown! Serving portions are huge and prices are wallet friendly. We had the beef & cheese empanadas, Grilled steak Paillard & the Picanha. Staff were very friendly forthcoming and welcoming. Dining experience is very pleasant, coupled with the quality of food served, which were delicious. Will be back for more!

We first visited this place 5 years ago. It was good then and even better now. So glad it survived covid. Our server was awesome, we forgot his name. He refreshed us on the menu and we ended up ordering mixed cheese bites and chicken drops with garlic and pepper sauces, a carne seca empanada, and cabraesa sausage rosti. We've shared a photo of the rosti cut open to see filling. Everything was delicious, had great seasoning, and perfect texture. We will add this to our regular places to visit while in Orlando.

It was muchooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom I loved the food and drinks I could eat here every day of so good that this restaurant is

I ordered the broccoli cheddar baked potato and it was not good. I expected a broccoli with a cheese sauce. It was actually just shredded cheese on top of the broccoli. When it was served the cheese was cold and hard. The potato was dry so I asked for some sour cream to put on it and was charged $3 for a small paper cup. My daughter ordered the gnocchi after the waiter said he liked it because it has truffle sauce. He didn't mention it was $2 extra for the sauce. It was very over priced for what you got. Then we were charged a "processing fee"of almost $6.00. We wouldn’t go back.

We saw Mrs. Potato on the Food Channel's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and decided to visit for brunch during a recent visit to Orlando. We were not disappointed. Even though we showed up right as they turned on the "Open" sign, they were ready to go and took great care of us. The food was hot and very tasty. We started with an empenada and it was so good we ordered a second one! We then shared a 4 Cheese Potato Rosti which was superb and don't forget the Garlic Cream sauce to go along with it. Well worth your time to visit and have a meal or two. We will defintiely go back.

Read the TA reviews and was impressed with all the ratings so this was flagged as a must stop while in the area. I called to verify hours and realized it was a DDD visited restaurant from Guy Fieri. We are not strangers to visiting Guys places and this did NOT disappoint. We ordered a variety of items, chicken balls, cheese balls, empanadas, rostis and one rosti baked. If you like potatoes, visit ASAP!!! Very unique and authentic. A treat for home sick Brazilian’s or anyone who likes to venture into new flavors. Enjoy!

st now My family & I came to Orlando for a vacation; my husband and I got an evening away from children while my mom watched them at the hotel. We remembered seeing Mrs Potato on DDD & wanted to try it out. We tried an empanada first & it was AMAZING!! Then we each ordered a baked potato; which we were super excited to try. However when they came out the outside edges of potatoes were really hard. We let our server know & he apologized and they remade our food. Then the owner Rafaela came out and apologized for everything and she went above & beyond for us to make it right. Not only did she give us a dessert for free (which was amazing) she also gave us one of the rosti hash brown potato meals to take to my mom who was stuck with the kids, completely on the house. She is an owner that cares about her customers and her business. We appreciate everything & will definitely be back and we will also refer our friends as well!!

Saw on Triple D and drove 45 min to try for lunch. Not disappointed! Two different style potato dishes with chicken and pork. Both delicious, with special condiments that complimented each well. Very attentive staff too, felt very welcome and appreciated.

A must try. My family of five all loved what they got. Perfect meal after leaving universal studios.

Today was my birthday and I this was the restaurant I chose, I wanted to visit it and show my thankfulness because of the waitress that spoke up and did something when she thought a little boy was being neglected. The food is AMAZING!! The staff are friendly and the restaurant is sparkling clean! I am sooooo glad this is where I chose to celebrate by birthday with my family!!! I will def. be back!!

The food was fresh, hot out of the kitchen, and of course delicious. Our server Matt was so sweet and knowledgeable about the flavor combos that went well together and serving size suggestions. My spouse and two kids cleared their plates. We will definitely be back to try a new Brazilian delicacy. This was like the familiarity of comfort food with all the flavors of Brazil intoxicating your taste buds.

The high rating is definitely justified!! The place was really nice, unassuming and seating outside was great! The service was fantastic and the food was awesome! The empanadas were delicious and so light. The rostis were amazing too! Can’t recommend this place highly enough, it was easily the best meal of our holiday!!

I was in Florida for 2 weeks and ate here twice because both times I was pretty hungry and their rosti tastes really good. I sat outside and saw same raccoons walk from across the street over yo the parking lot. There was a cat just sitting there looking at them like " what the hell are you guys doing over here? Go back across the street to the woods where you came from. " The cat did not seem very welcoming to the raccoons, and I don't really blame him. That parking lot was his place to hang out and he didn't really need a bunch of raccoons coming over and acting all tough. He didn't start anything with them; I could just tell that he wasn't very happy about them being there. Fortunately, they left after Just a few minutes and went back to the woods. Anyway, I really like the Philly steak rosti. I mean it. It's good stuff and you should definitely eat it.

I never thought that Brazilian cuisine had such a soft spot for spuds but when a friend told me the was a local restaurant named “Mrs. Potato,” I quickly decided to investigate this tribute to the tuber. Because of the pandemic, I decided to play it safe and order through Uber Eats. The hero of the menu is the potato rosti, which is basically a giant hash brown cake stuffed with an assortment of fillings. I selected one with a chicken, bacon and ranch core. The dish is gigantic and can easily feed two regular people ... or one of me. The pairing of fried potatoes with anything is bound to be a success and the Brazilian rosti delivers. That said, this spudtacular concoction felt like a one-and-done novelty item. Once you’ve tried it and checked it off your list, there is no immediate need to repeat this journey into the depths of the potatoesphere. Maybe in a few months!

Food was good. Went with wife and small kid. Kids meal steak was a hit with my picky kid. The yucca flowers tastes like miniature French fries with some sort of sunshine flavor, very nice. The caipirinha was wonderful, they should do it without alcohol as well as it would also be good without. Everything was delicious.

Nice little gem in Orlando Had several things off the menu and everything was good. The inside seating was very small, but they have outdoor seating as well

Tried this place because I saw in on TV. Good food and service, food was slow from the kitchen. Small place. I had the beef empanada (fantastic) and the Chicken Catupiry Baked Potato. Pretty good, too much food for one person. I'd go back.

We visited as a couple and sat in the covered outside - it was a lot quieter than inside and seemed more relaxed. The restaurant is on the end of a shopping complex by Publix, and you'd have to know it was there to notice it I feel. Now, the service really was very good - all the girls we saw were super friendly and chatty, and seemed really proud to work there and tell us about the products. We had the beef empanadas for appetisers, and the pastry melted in your mouth it was so good - we were recommended some homemade garlic mayo to go with it, and rightly so, as it was delicious! I had the baked potsto with beef strogonoff for entree and he had the chicken rosti - these were amazing! I have never in my life seen a baked potato so large!! The only 'downside', which isn't really terrible, was that it is quite expensive - but we were so full we didn't eat for the rest of the day, so if you think of it this way it isn't bad at all!! (It just felt a lot paying $38 for a lunch)

Definitely not what we had expected. The food was bland and overly salted. The loaded fries tasted like they were from a bag, sprinkled with shredded cheese, and a few bits of bacon. The chicken drops were dry and tasteless. The real gem is the Pastel (Brazilian Empanadas). The Rosti potatoes barely had any filling.

Excellent service and food. This restaurant is a little off the tourist path, but well worth it! The Rosti is amazing!

Hidden GEM! A must when in Orlando Fantastic flavor in every dish we tried. Hidden at the end of a strip mall. Easy parking lots of seating and fast service All is homemade. Delicious and delightful

We loved everything about Mrs Potato. Wonderful staff. We loved visiting about Brazil. And the food was so great...try the empanadas and hash browns that are stuffed with a variety of ingredients. The garlic sauce is addictive...so much that our friend asked for a container to go.

This was a delightful find! It is just in a strip mall so not much to look at from the outaide, but inside, you feel as though you are part of the family! One of the owners, Claudio, waited on us. He was so friendly and offered his recommendations. We loved the music, jazzy remixes of pop songs. Try the cheese balls and rosti! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Orlando!

On an episode of Diners, Drive Ins and Dives Mrs. Potato was highlighted. So we decided in Orlando for vacation to give it a try. Make sure you know where you are going. Mrs. Potato is in a strip mall and easily missed. Due to the season and day/ time we were immediately seated. We split an appetizer, Rosti Potato and Churros. The food was very good and worth the wait. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The menu offers more than potato dishes. Glad we tried Mrs. Potato

I saw the place on TV and wanted a rosti ever since. Well worth the drive out of my way. My server Eduardo was excellent! His recommendations were perfect and also brought me samples. The Carne Seca rosti is delish! I ordered the chicken and the broccoli ones to take home. I would drive out of my way AFAIK to return here!

Very good! So glad we found this place! The Rosti was delicious so were the appetizers! We had good service as well-definitely coming back!

My family and I ate at Mrs. potato while staying in Orlando for our family trip and it was our BEST dinner we had. 10/10 recommend. We will be back!

In a strip mall with (no surprise a Publix)..at the end of the strip is Mrs.Potato. We went based on Trip Advisor reviews. The prices are reasonable and the food delicious. We shared a cheese empanada and also shared a Rosti filled with chicken stroganoff. Sooo good, cannot wait to come back.

We ordered take out and we were very impressed. Delicious food with large portions. Really enjoyed our meal.

Down here not meeting friends until tomorrow and wanted dinner that was not a chain. Only about 15 min from Universal, Potato wrapped around meat, mushrooms and cheese. The portions are both huge and made to order. Flavors blended perfectly. Be sure to leave room for dessert. The calories are worth it and I don’t say that easily.

Perfect, the best food in Orlando, spectacular service, wonderful cozy place, the attendant ANA is two great professionals

Mrs Potato is much more than delicious potato dishes. We had the delicious Brazilian empanadas “pastel”. The cheese and shrimp was simply to die for. It makes for a great starter to be followed by the Calabresa Sausage Rosti potato. The restaurant has an excellent selection, we tried 2 but my favorite was Banana Dulce de Leche Roll. Highly recommend when in Orlando

Family of 6, aged 4 to 76, we all enjoyed our meals and service. Simple, inexpensive offerings, elevated enough to be interesting, and served in generous portions. You really can’t miss.

Very enjoyable dinner with family. Food was very unique and has a Brazilian theme. Potato rostis were very flavourful and well cooked and went well with the hot sauce side (although not too much as is pretty hot). Small tasting options for the Rostis/Jackets before you ordered which was a great idea. Steak was excellent. Desserts (chocolate mousse cake and chiros) were yummy too, but the kids wanted more chiros !! Restaurant is relatively small but with good outside seating (where we were located). Service was brilliant and the menu and options really well explained.

Trip advisor reviews helped us find this hidden gem!! It’s a bit of a hole in the wall diner and is a little cramped inside, but the Mr. Potatohead decor was cute. The food is amazing! 10 of us went and nobody disliked their food. The loaded baked potato is the size of a small person’s head. It’s huge! My husband and I split the loaded Yucca fries and Chicken Catupiry Rosti. Both were SO delicious!! I would get those again. The Brazilian cream cheese on our Rosti was creamy and savory. We still had Rosti leftover. This place is super reasonable too! The waitresses are so sweet and attentive. Karollyne did a great job for us. On the wall, there’s a picture of food critique Guy Fieri, and certain menu items are starred as his favorites. Our Rosti was one of his favorites and it didn’t disappoint. Also, the bathrooms were pretty clean and above average for most bathrooms. Definitely recommend you take friends and family here! You’ll be super glad you did.

This review is another entry in my tour of the places in Florida Guy Fieri has eaten at with his show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The show first aired in 2006 and it is on its 42nd season of Guy's road trips across America where he highlights some of America's most underrated and delicious local eats. Mrs. Potato appeared on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives during season 26, episode 12 in May 2017. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall on Kirkland Road very close to Universal Studios. Opened in 2012, Mrs. Potato is a Brazilian restaurant featuring empanadas and potato rosti's. Guy visited with N'Sync member Joey Fatone and Robert Earl, founder of Planet Hollywood and they sampled the carne-seca rosti and the chicken catupiry baked potato. The Mrs. Potato in the restaurants name is owner Rafaela Lopes. She came to the US as a child. When she grew up she wanted to open a restaurant and she decided to share what she missed from home, In Brazil, potato houses are common but here is America, potatoes are you usually found in the supporting role as side dish. Everything on the menu at Mrs. Potato is potato based. They have a specials menu which had a gnocchi on it when I visited and the regular menu with appetizers, pastel, potatoes both baked and rosti, burgers, and Brazilian cuisine. A rosti is hash browns fried in a bowl shape and stuffed with meat and cheese. A Yelp check in nets you a complimentary Brazilian soda. Mrs. Potato has a small indoor dining room and more seats outside under a covered patio. I sat inside and while I waited to order I checked out their Guy Fieri memorabilia and their adorable collection of Mr. Potato heads. One wall is covered in their awards and write ups in the local publications. They even have a Yelp wall. For my meal I ordered the loaded rosti which was the hash brown bowl with sour cream, bacon, cheese, and green onions stuffed inside. It was my first time trying a rosti and I enjoyed it. The potatoes were crisp and the inside had gooey cheese and all of the delights that I like piled on my loaded bake potato. My only quibble was that at $17 it was kind of expensive for a potato dish with no meat. I can see from old menus posted on Yelp that their prices have increased like many restaurants after the pandemic. I am glad that I got to check them out and if they were closer to me I would be back to check out the empanadas.

The food was great. I am a big eater but I could barely finish it. The service was terrific. A little place but very friendly.

Location: easy to find and park Venue: small inside but not busy. Cafe vibe with lots of mr potatoes figures around the walls Service: attentive and helpful Food: not that inspired… truffle fries good size and okay. The beef pastel was bland and dry. The rosti is big… you don’t need one each. The vegetable one was bland. The chicken and bacon so so as was the speciality cured meat one. Their chilli sauce helped add flavour.. wasn’t on the in store menu unlike online… it’s not so much a sauce but various little chillies. This is a different experience… but personally wouldn’t go back.

Discovering this gem at the end of a strip mall brought back all the good vibes of Brazil - friendly people and great food. Enjoy a can of Guaranana, a wonderful empanada, and anything potato.

The first time we stopped by in the evening and the line was out the door. We came back two days later around 3pm and walked right in and found a table. So glad we came back. Not only is the food great but the service is outstanding. Felt like we were apart of the family. The cheese empanadas were great as an appetizer. The potato rosti was very good as well. Probably could have shared one. It is very filling. Can’t wait to go back.

Our server, Matheus was the only good thing about this place. It’s a small and tight space. The food was not fresh and my potato was really dry. I would not come back and didn’t like the e xperience

It was awesome. We heard about this place through Food’s Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, so we were eager to try. The food was tasty, delicious and full of flavor. Even the kids burger was juicy and fresh tasting. We arrived an hour before closing and they treated us like royalty. We sat outside because the weather was nice and because the inside seemed a bit smallish for our rather large group. We had a party of 7. We all ordered something different and everyone said their meal was fantastic! Our waitress explained the menu to us and even showed pictures so we could visualize the food choices. The dessert, banana tres leches, was AMAZING! Every bite of every thing we ate was a work of art. Would definitely recommend and will make a trip back to Mrs Potato when we are in the area. A definite gem. You can tell the owner takes pride in her work!

Found this restaurant here on Tripadvisor, looked it up on YouTube, thought it was worth a go. So very glad we did - the empenadas for starters were amazing, while we were considering the rostis, the waitress told us they were quite big, and would we like one to share? So we did, and it was quite enough for the 2 of us. First visit was a philly cheese steak rosti, which we liked so much we went back the next week and had a BBQ chicken rosti. Such a different offering, all cooked to order, and very attentive and helpful staff. You have to know it's there - it's tucked away a bit - but you will be glad you made that little bit of effort. Lots of locals came in to collect phone orders while we were there, which is always a good sign. I will definitely go back there if we are in the area again.

Cute restaurant! Great food! The servers were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop. You won't regret it.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of mr potato heads everywhere.. also didn’t even know they were on Guys TV show.. Food is delicious. And the appetizers were great too.. don’t mind the location in a strip mall.. it is worth it.

We're visiting from out of town and we decided to order food online for pickup. We tried the Carne Seca Rosti, Chicken Catupiry Empanada, Banana Empanada and the Dulce de Leche Churros. The Rosti was definitely the star of those 4 items. Crispy outter hashbrowns filled with lots of tasty meat & cheese. It's a large item - plenty for 2 of us to share! The Chicken Empanada was ok - although the chicken was moist, it was somewhat bland in flavor. Glad to have the WONDERFUL garlic sauce to dip it in on the side. The Banana Empanada was good & different, but I wouldn't order it again. There was a little different taste to it, maybe it was the type of cheese they used? The Churros & Dulce de Leche were also good, crisp & the sauce was tasty. The food is unique, but once for this 2 week Orlando visit is enough.

Generally speaking I don't buy my dinner in a strip mall: HOWEVER, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted wo wonderful. The wait-staff was perfectly attentive and helpful. Generous portions. DO NOT PASS UP THE BANANNA ROLL DESERT.

The Carne Seca Rosti was to die for, so full of flavor. Chefs kiss. Our server Caique was friendly and quick with his service! We cannot wait to come back next time we're in Orlando!

We were quickly seated by a courteous waiter. I ordered the chicken catupiry rossti, another in the party had the chicken catupiry baked potato and empanadas, i think one was jerk chicken meal with yucca fries, and of course the different one (my husband) got a steak dinner. We finished our meal with banana dolce de leche roll which is cheesecake and banana crunchy roll with vanilla ice cream. Yum yum We went here because it was on diners, drive ins, and dives with guy fieri.

We ordered the Philly cheese steak rosti and the carne seca rosti and they were both delicious. The potatoes were creamy on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. Very unique! Loved the garlic aioli. I hope to go back and try one of the desserts too.

Ugh, where do I even begin? Their potatoes and hash are HUGE and you'll be getting full halfway through! They have lots of tasty combinations and you can even make your own as well. Located in the corner of the strip mall which gives you plenty of parking space. Service is sorta slow but so worth it in the end. I'm always raving about this place, just wish I had one near my house!

Meat and potatoes allll day! I didn’t know it could be so good. Tried the Seca Carne, definitely recommend (along with Guy Fieri) Restaurant was on Diners, Drive ins and Dives for a good reason!! Portions are huge, enough to share. The empanadas were fantastic and also big. Whatever cheese they put in the items makes the dish. Found out from our server this food is authentic to the south of Brazil. Lots of Europeans there hence the meat and potatoes being the popular food choice. We will be back

The food was excellent!!! The flavors were on point and the portions were very large. This is a small restaurant but they also have an outdoor seating option and the service was great.

sopped in for lunch and the staff was super friendly and helpful , my waiter was a young man and he was so helpful and on point and gave everyone around awesome service, also the young lady with colorful hair came to my table a couple of times and she also was very friendly and like one of your friends. The rosti I had was phenomenal and along with the garlic mayo it was just so good. I wish there was one of these where I live so I could go on a regula baisis . Thank you to the Chef and staff for such an amaizing lunch

My friend and I were bored so we googled some restaurants to visit. We found this one on TripAdvisor and drove 50 miles to give it a try. It was much smaller than we expected and had a very mom and pop feel. We were there early evening on a Friday and got a table easily. Maybe half full. We saw the menu beforehand and knew we were going for the Rosti hash brown pie. I loved mine but my friend thought it was too greasy. The service was ok. Our waitress was new and forgot our empanadas and never offered refills or ketchup. She did give us a free churro but charged us and it took a while to get it removed. It was a little awkward. Overall, its a split decision. I liked my food but my friend didn’t. It was a fun place to try but I probably wouldn’t drive 50 miles back.

First, the empanadas are unbelievably delicious. Our entire group just raced over them. The server brought out the garlic aioli to try with them and it was so yummy. Eggs and olives all delectably woven into the beautiful little bed of flour and meat ( or whichever flavor you choose). I personally ordered the BBQ chicken potato and was sad I couldn’t finish it because it was such a large serving. The other diners tried different Brazilian cuisine and raves about the taste, texture, and overall wonderful meals. The location seems almost off-putting but don’t let that deter you. We sat on the veranda and the atmosphere was so temperate and enjoyable. The server and hostess were both accommodating and very quick. We were all so happy with our visit. Try the house made hot sauce. I’ve never had something so hot but still so flavorful.

Was amazing always on point !! Make a smile on my face.. brought some to my husband and baby they both loved it my 1yr obsession with it lol

Located at the bottom of a business park, this small place makes a difference. Tasty products and portions in the norm. Friendly and helpful staff.

I came here cause it was on triple d and was not disappointed food was great got an empanada filled with beef and the beef stuffed potato rosti. The empanadas were delicious great flavour the rosti I have never tried before but it was also amazing great crust on potatoes and seasoned perfectly

Second trip here recently. Ordered the Carne Seca Rosti, Carne Empenada, and Chicken Catupiry baked potato. All was good except the chicken catupiry baked potato. Wasn’t made like the one on Diners, dives, and drive ins. Chicken wasn’t shredded, more like ground up? Not much of it to speak of, and no mozzarella and put under broiler. Very disappointed.

Rosti is a new word l learned. A very tasty word it is. The empanadas were delicious. The service was great. The place is cute and came with a raccoon floor show.

This was my first time to this restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It is a small place that seats about 30 inside and more in an outside. It is located at the furthest point of a long strip mall where the cell service was very spotty. There were six shelves loaded with Potato Head figures (18 per row). They appeared to have a very good take out business and several locals were dining the night we were there. Note that the menu is very diverse and not a potato only menu. Our order was the Chicken Catupiry Rostini ($17), BBQ Pork Rostini ($13), Grilled Chicken ($9) and the Kids breaded chicken with fries ($8). What I Liked: - The BBQ Pork Rostini was the bomb dish of the night, excellent - The Guy Fieri tasted Chicken Catupiry Rostini was very good with a good mix of flavors. Ask for the house sauce which was excellent. It was an interesting mix of small peppers and onion balls. The garlic sauce was very good - The Kid’s meal fries were very good What I Did Not Like: - The price point for the Chicken Catupiry Rostini ($17) was out of bounds - The grilled chicken with small salad and veggies was a salty, rubbery piece of meat - The Kid’s meal boneless chicken was over-cooked and salty fries were good Table service was spotty and the time to get your order was inconsistent and long

Another triple D place checked off my list! This was a winner. The service was extremely friendly and the prices mid. The portions were huge. We had a baked potato and a couple of rosti’s . The cheese in the chicken stroganoff tasted like a canned cheese but other than that everything was delicious! The homemade hot sauce with delicious Brazilian peppers was so tasty. Would definitely return if in the area.

My daughter found this little place looking online. And it was totally amazing. We each had an empanada, shared philly cheese steak rosti & churros for dessert. All the Food was delish and service was great. If we are back in Orlando we will definately come here to eat again!

We were excited to try this restaurant after seeing it on Food Network and because of the high reviews on trip advisor. We specifically ordered the two featured items from the tv show but both items were a huge disappointment. Hardly any meat on the baked potato or in the rosti, we really had to search for it. We felt like we were just eating hash browns and a baked potato. Prices are high, which is fine if the food supports the pricing. But, to pay $25 for a fancy hasbrown dome and a large potato wasn't really what we were expecting. Staff was nice which is why I gave 2 stars rather than 1.

Great experience staff was somewhat quite but knowledgeable about the menu. Appetizers were okay but the main course was definitely good. The Carne Seca rosti was really good.

The restaurant is very small with limited indoor dining and some outdoor dining space, but the food and service were amazing! Don’t let the small space keep you from trying this place. Since it was our first visit, our server offered to explain all the menu options and made a couple of recommendations. So many delicious sounding choices of appetizers, burgers, empanadas and potato main dishes on the menu but my husband and I decided on their specialty Rosti potatoes. I got shrimp and he chose the Calabresa sausage. Imagine a hash brown potato pie filled with various combinations of meats, cheeses and/or vegetables—hot and crispy on the outside, yummy goodness inside! Amazing! One Rosti potato is enough for two people to share….or as our server recommended taking home leftovers and eating with fried eggs for breakfast. I also enjoyed looking at all the Mr. Potato Head figures that are on display. Definitely recommend if you are in the Orlando/Disney area!

Wife and I had planned a trip to Orlando around our anniversary, a couple days before we were to leave we watched diners drive ins and dives do a show on a place called Mrs Potato. Wile we were in Orlando we decided to try it out. We were blown away with the flavor of the food! Not only was the food incredible the service was just as fantastic! We had the owner come and speak with us as we explaining to her we were visiting Orlando for our anniversary, she gave us a desert on the house! I would make the 5 hour trip again just for the food and service!

The service here is splendid and I love the atmosphere. I tried one of the decisions that Guy Fieri had it did NOT disappoint!!! Lovely local place to try out!

We saw that triple D went there and thought it would be good to find out what Brazilian food was like. Get the spice profile. We asked our server to guide our choices. She was so delightful and proud of the restaurant. She gladly indulged us. She started us off with freshly squeezed juice. The pineapple with mint was refreshing and tasty. Great combination! She recommended empanadas to start and that we split the sausage rosti. Great! I got the shrimp empanada my husband got the beef. The shrimp were tender but it was essentially a fried doe pocket filled with cheese. I was offered garlic mayonnaise to put on my fried fat filled pocket. My husband raved about the beef pocket and there we found the Brazilian spice profile. The rosti was a delightful dome of perfectly crisped potatoes with more onions than sausage. No real spice at all not even in the small sample of sausage. The ambiance fits the triple D standards. It’s a small restaurant in a strip mall shared with a low end tax preparer, a salon with windows framed in blue lights, and check cashing establishment. It’s a little star in an otherwise dingy setting. The menu highlights Guy’s favorites. Maybe if we had ordered them we would have come away with a different review.

Just enjoyed a culinary treat here at Mrs Potato. Ordered a shrimp empanada appetizer- filled with lots of shrimp and cheese, and special garlic mayo, serving size more than generous. Sooo good. Split a chicken Rosti - their signature dish. Really delish food and very different. Finished with banana roll with Ice cream. That was worth the drive in itself. Our server let us taste 2 soups from the soup bar and there is no doubt they were made from scratch... lot of flavor.

Perfect in spice, in taste, in care. I met restaurant in 2018 and we returned in 2025. We brought friends to meet and it was a success. And besides Rosti potatoes, there is Brazilian food too!

This place specializes in baked potatoes and Rosti Potatoes. There are a ton of selections on the menu and I'll be willing to bet they are all good. We got selections from the Rosti selections and were not disappointed. The menus use many Brazilian specialties and all I can say is they are delicious.

My wife and I were visiting Orlando and we were tired and hungry after a day of shopping at Disney Springs. None of the Disney fare seemed very appealing, so we looked on TA and found Mrs Potato - it was a bit of a drive but SO worth it! Thais welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful, and walked us through the menu - she was basically the “Ambassador” for the restaurant (which doesn’t seem like much when you walk in, it’s a small location). She brought us several samples, to help narrow our choices and, with her assistance, we settled on the loaded fries (shared) and the Chicken Catupiry Rosti (also shared) to which we added broccoli and bacon. Both of these came out freshly made and hot -they were both delicious and we had about a third left over when we tapped out. We saved room for a couple of light desserts so we tried the churros (two small churros with either dulce de leche or Nutella for dipping) and the flan - which was absolutely the best I have ever tasted! It was also small, but sweet and rich and the perfect consistency. Thais brought some Brazilian coffee, which was strong and in a small cup like espresso, which perfectly complimented the desserts. We are hoping to find time to return and try the empanada before we leave, but will need to walk off some calories at Disney first. If you haven’t tried Mrs. potato, you have to go soon - Guy Fieri loved it on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives and so do we! The food was delicious and we had some of the friendliest service we have ever had, also appreciated how thoroughly the staff was about cleaning between seatings.

Not much else to say, the title speaks for itself, amazing food and amazing service, I come here every time I come down.

HUGE portions, very sharable. The super friendly and helpful waitress brought us samples of a couple meats and the delicious soft, Brazilian cheese. Many great topping choices on this unique menu. Definitely recommend!

i bought a potato and opened it and it was really crappy inside and i ate a cheese ball and i took a dump and it hurt and no potatoes it was goofy ahh and potatoes no good.

Delicious! First time experience, everything was wonderful and service was also great! The large potato is big enough for two.

Had a baked potato (chicken with catupiri) nothing special. My wife had picaña - was very good. Good service.

Cool place to visit for something different. Portions are huge. Service was great. Had couple off small issues but they were handled quickly and with a smile.

Really enjoyed our visit. Had the chicken drops, beef n cheese empanadas, and 5 different kinds of rosti potatoes. (Think stuffed hash brown cake) Churros for dessert and Brazilian espresso. Will go again. Something different. Staff was great.

Best brunch ever!!! Mimosas flight was amazing, french toast and tomato confit was delicious! Highly recommend

This place was as good as Diners, Drive Ins and Dives said it was. We got the Carne Seca Rosti, Chicken Catipury Rosti and Calabress Sausage Rosti. Tremendous. The staff wea exceptional

Be hungry!! The food was fantastic and the Rosti was enough for two. The cheese balls were very good with garlic sauce and sweet chili sauce. Would highly recommend this place.

This is a must try!! I wish I could give it a higher rating than 5. The place can be a little sketchy but the Rosti potatoes make up for it. I would definitely go back.

This is a cute small clean place. Stopped in for dinner and wanted to try many things. I will be back for round 2! The menu has a great variety and the food is flavored well. We enjoyed our meal and would go back. Food tasty and everyone was very friendly. Don’t miss this one.

We came here for lunch and were not disappointed! The truffle fries were delicious, the beef empanada was really good too! We had the Philly cheesesteak Rosti style potato and it was so good! Definitely a different style dish but did not disappoint- probably some of the best hash browns we’ve had! Perfectly cooked and still crispy.

Stopped into Mrs. Potato on our latest trip to Orlando and it certainly didn't disappoint!! Food was delicious...our son's big appetite was no match for his loaded baked potato! The fried babana cheescake coukd very well be the best dessert I've ever had!! The service was second to none...friendly smiles and fabulous service not hard to find at this place. Thank you!!

Visited this restaurant and was impressed by the food and the service. The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area which is great when the weather is nice. First visit so we tried the Rosti which they are famous for. And we were pleasantly surprised they tasted great. Tried the chicken one and the sausage one. Loved the sausage rosti as it is an unusual food for us. The service was great they explained everything and were very nice to deal with. All in all loved that restaurant and would definitely recommend it

Small Brazilian restaurant located at the end of a strip center outside of the touristy spots in Orlando. Was traveling from out of state and wanted to visit this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Small restaurant but the servers were delightful and courteous. How did the beef empanada and the famous Rosti which did not disappoint. What a delightful gem of a restaurant. I travel all over the country for work and thought this was one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. It’s not fancy or large but very unique and absolutely worth a visit.

Our waiter was incredibly helpful at giving us an overview of what we might enjoy based upon our personal taste perferences. Great service! I HIGHLY recommend the fresh squeezed juices- especially the strawberry. I couldn't believe of amazing it tasted! The stuffed potatoe we had was also very very good. The cheeseballs were the cheesiest we've ever tasted and we're from Wisconsin- the cheese state! There was nothing special about the fries or the ice cream but I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The next time we are in Orlando, we plan to return!

At Mrs.Potato you can eat really good Brazilian food and be very well treated. The employees are just amazing! Small family businesses are the best!

We had the most amazing experience at Mrs. Potato. Our waiters name was Mathew, and he was a gem. He helped guide us through the menu from beginning towns and was super nice and accommodating. We started with the empanadas. They were the best I’ve EVER had! I had the chicken catipury (awesome), my mom had the shrimp (amazing), and my brother had the Italian (good). They were super flakey and delicious! Put their house spicy sauce and garlic sauce with the pico de gallo salsa and it was pure magic! We are even contemplating going back today just for them! Next we had the Rosti. I ordered the carne seca, and my mom ordered the shrimp. Both scrumptious! My brother ordered the chicken Park which was surprisingly delicious, but the fries..... OMG they were AMAZING. We should of ordered the fries as an appetizer, they were so good. We read reviews and decided to overcome the carb comatose by ordering desert. DO NOT MISS DESSERT EVEN IF YOU’RE FULL! We had the banana roll, which was hands down the best dessert I’ve had in a long time. What a great way to end the meal! I cannot recommend this place enough! The potato heads that line the wall are a cute touch. It might seem like a hole in the wall, but once you’ve experienced it you will want to come again and again! Thank God I don’t live down here, or I would order this everyday!

This is the unassuming end spot in a strip mall. Inside is a small cafe/diner atmosphere with a wall of Mr Potato Heads. The food is amazing! We started with 2 of the empanadas that were flaky and crispy. We ordered 2 or the rosti one with the brazilian pork sausage and the other with the shredded brazilian beef. Potatoes were crispy and the fillings were so good. We ended with the churro for dessert. THis was plenty of food for 4 adults.

We decided to visit Mrs. Potato after seeing rave reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites. We couldn't have been happier with the choice. The staff was super friendly and very informative about all of the menu. We ordered emapanadas for appetizers, which were superb and very generous portions. We also ordered the Rosti style, which were also delicious and very large portions. It's a very relaxed, casual, and friendly atmosphere which we greatly appreciated in this bustling city. You can't go wrong with Mrs. Potato!

Always great! Very consistent. We go to Orlando several times a year and we always make it a point to stop at Mrs. Potato. We always end with the banana foster empanada for desert. One of the best comfort foot places around.

Good Services offer the best service, which I really like and everyone must try this in Orlando. its delicious food.

My husband found this restaurant while watching DDD and since we were in Orlando on vacation, we decided to give it a try. Wow!! So glad we did! Every baked potato and Rosti that was ordered (six in total) was delicious and extremely satisfying! There was definitely something for everyone, even the picky eater. In addition, our server, Eduardo, and the owner, Rafaela, were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Wish we would have saved room for dessert! Next time!

Made a quick right turn into the plaza where this place is located. My wife and I were not disappointed. I had the carne seca empanada and I wish I would have ordered 2 of them. They were great...but when I got my rosti, I was glad I only had 1 empanada. The rosti was large and thick. My wife had the loaded rosti and I had the sausage rosti. We will definitely be coming back, they have dinners that look really good.

Are in Orlando for business and tried this place the first night we were here. I had the Sour cream, cheese and bacon Rostti, oh my! It was so good. I didn’t get the young ladies name that waited on us, but she was extremely helpful. Tried it again a few nights later. This time got the pastel with red beans and rice. Had churros for dessert. Nathan was our server this time and he was great too! I did like the Rosti a little better than the pastel, but that flaky crust was still pretty amazing. Love this little restaurant!

Amazing food!! The fries are the best I've ever had--very uniquely done. Everything had amazing flavor, and the staff was wonderful! Even the kids' meal food was simple but delicious. I VERY highly recommend.

This was the best cheese balls and chicken balls. Also, had the sausage rossti and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Service was great. Has the banana empanada as desert and it delicious as well

Great food and outstanding service. We enjoyed the soup bar- my favorite was the meat and vegetables- and rosti. Will visit again when in town.

We came here in 2016, and now we're back. And the food is still delicious! It's much much better than a burger every day.

Mrs Potato's team is super polite and helpful! Excellent food! Great option to get away from traditional American food!

Excellent place! Amazing food with fair prices. We had the rosti potatoes, and they were amazing. The kids meal is great as well (we ordered white roce and black beans, with beef).

Food was delicious and the service could not have been better! I had the chicken roasti and my husband ordered the carne seca roasti. Both were great. I am only sorry that I was full and could not order dessert

We went due to the interesting menu. The wait staff was amazing and the atmosphere was fun. However felt like the hashbrowns while good, there were too many. The filling was sparse. The chicken drops were suggested as an appetizer and they as well were dry. Now their homemade hot sauce was super yummy. Next time might order something with more sauce.

It's a Brazilian restaurant that serves potatoes in so many ways. It was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives - another one to add to my list. We had a wonderful lunch and shared several different dishes including rostis. Everything tasted delicious. We decided to stay for dessert - OMG! We will definitely come back!

As visitors from the UK, we were hoping to find somewhere that sold "jacket" potatoes. We had searched online beforehand and discovered Mrs. Potato. The menu seemed quite extensive with a massive choice of fillings for both baked potatoes and Rosti. Mrs. Potato is easy enough to find. The address didn't show on my free downloaded satnav map, but I put in N & W coordinates from Google Earth which worked fine. The restaurant is at the end of a rank of shops in a retail park that includes a Publix supermarket. Starting from International Drive/Sand Lake Road it took around 15 minutes (probably could do it in 10) We went in shortly after 11.00 (when it opens) and there were already other diners there. We ordered our jacket spuds and it was suggested we might like to try some empanadas as a starter while we waited for the potatoes. Empanadas - wow! Like light pasty - really nice. The potatoes arrived and were massive. The menu says 1.2 - 1.4lbs and doesn't lie. Wish we had room for a pudding as they looked tasty too. The staff were friendly and helpful too. All in all a great discovery which we are happy to recommend.

Found this place by accident - didn’t realize it was a DDD destination until we arrived. It was a chilly Orlando night but we opted to sit outside instead of waiting 30+minutes (dining room is quite small) . There was a soup bar that night - we opted for a very generous bowl of kale potato soup with a myriad of add your own toppings (cheese, onions, chopped egg, etc). Soup was hot and delicious. As first time visitors they offered samples to us as we were unfamiliar with Brazilian food. Ordered chicken drops and cheese balls and shared a Rosti as a main. Overall food was good, glad we tried it once but on the heavy side (lots of deep fried and butter). Very friendly service.

I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and since I love potatoes, I had to go try it out especially after seeing the reviews and pics others posted about it. The Rosti potatoes are amazing! We had the Carne Seca, Calabresa, and the Philly Rosti potatoes. All are worth a try and you have to eat their signature cream cheese also. The best part about the potato was the crispy edges and the fact the leftovers still taste great when heated. We will DEFINITELY made our way back there the next time we are in Orlando!

Absolutely outstanding! We had bobo de camarão and sausage dish with hash brown and three empanadas, palmito, steak and carne seca they were fantastic! My favorite was the carne assada Wonderful service, and Mrs. Potato is a great person that we enjoyed talking with her immensely! We recommend and I hope you have the time to enjoy this delicious food.

We loved our dining experience at Mrs. Potato! They had quality food, reasonably priced, in a casual atmosphere. What's not to love! I went with a good friend that has often teased me about how much i love potatoes. She knew this would be an ultimate experience, without a big price tag. Our wonderful waiter, Matheus, helped us navigate our way through the interesting menu. We sampled some Brazilian meats first, to help us decide what we wanted to order. We started with the cheese balls and chicken drop appetizer, served with their garlic sauce and sweet chili sauce. These sauces were also good with the entree. I ordered the baked potato with the ground beef, red onions, peas, and garlic sauce. My friend ordered the Carne Seca Rosti with sauteed onions. We sampled each others, and couldn't decide which was better. Both were amazing! We finished off the meal with a banana empanada, and banana fulce de leche roll, both had a side of ice cream. Absolutely delicious! This was such an interesting dining experience, we plan to return with friends.

I visit this restaurant with my family. The food was good and the server was excellent. All of us enjoy the food. The Rusti was big and flavorful. If you are in the area and look for something delicious and different this is the place to visit.

Tried this after seeing good reviews on TripAdvisor. We ordered the chicken drops and cheese balls and those were good. There were some others on here that reviewed the garlic sauce as good but I could barely taste garlic? We then ordered to roti, and we're both sitting here miserable a couple of hours later from all the oil. It's a good concept but everything was deep fried, and I suspect the oil is not a very high quality because we're both sitting here with belly aches. The strawberry lemonade was not even sweetened... How can you not put sugar in strawberry lemonade? We asked the server about it and she said we don't put sugar in those drinks (so we know it wasn't a mistake). To top it off I got halfway through my soda, and there was a large square piece of paper floating in my drink. The server apologized for it but didn't take it off the bill? Ugh. Sorry totally not worth $73.

We saw this place on Diners, Drives and Dives and decided to try it out. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing! Highly recommend a Rosti!

This place is really unique! We checked it out last weekend and it was delish! I ordered the Rosti & had several meals out of one -- (yummy reheated in the air fryer!) You can easily split one of these huge mounds of hash browns that are filled with a variety of items ( i chose the marinated chicken) and covered with cream cheese- ridiculously good! They also give you a garlic spread that adds even more flavor to this dish! The Brazilian bread bites ( with cheese) are also a strong recommend! Come hungry!

Went there because it was on DDD. Well, Guy is not always right. Chicken drops as appetizer was cold, flavor was just ok. We both had the rosti, a loaded and a chicken bacon ranch. Loaded was ok, but it reminded me of taking a big pile of Denny’s hash browns, mixing them with cheese and not very crisp bacon then put it on a plate. The chicken in the other one had a lot of grizzle. If you go there, I suggest you get something else.

Unbelievable. The most delicious bite of hashbrowns (Rosti) I have ever had in my life. If I lived even a half hour closer I would be here every week.

Loved the rosti, empanadas, and caipirinhas. So good. Everything were tried we liked. I recommend anything with the shrimp.

We thought we’d give this a try after seeing they had been featured on diners, dives and drive ins. There was a nice choice on the menu and we both decided to order a rosti. There was about a half an hour wait for food but this was explained when we ordered as everything was made fresh. The rosti tasted like a hash brown with meat and cheese and was tasty. The meal was very filling and we struggled to eat our evening meal later that day. All staff were friendly and professional and I loved that the restaurant was filled with mr potato heads and played the tv episode they featured in on a loop. Lovely experience.

And we were not disappointed. I had the Philly Cheese Steak Rosti. And also had the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were great along with great friendly service. The place is small, neat and clean. Place was full for lunch. We also saw they have a soup special in the evenings that we will try out some time. Lots on the menu to choose from.

We heard about this place from DDD so we wanted to check it out. Restaurant is in a strip mall close to universal with a nice patio. We got the chicken drops and cheese balls mix and match and the carne seca Rosti. All the food was great and the staff was very friendly. Great lil date spot to try something new

The Breaded deep fried brie cheese is insane! And the Truffled gnocchi with shrimps is delicious! One of my favorite restaurants in Orlando!

I saw all these pictures of dishes covered in a grid of butter. When Mine arrived it was plain. I asked about the butter and was given one small container of butter. The potatoes were dry and very hard to eat.

Nice neat potato restaurant.the rositi is pretty good. Really can not go wrong if you are in the mood for a potato. Great customer service and nice location

We ran across this as a Guy Fieri diners dives and drive ins. Service excellent, they explained the menu gave samples. I tried a Rosti potato with red onions, Portuguese sausage and cheese inside. Delicious and very filling. My wife had the veggie burger and assisted me with mine. Would go back again. Pricing very reasonable!

This is a small restaurant hidden in the corner of a strip mall. Service is excellent. They arranged a table to fit our group of 10. More seating is available on the screened patio. Everything was DELICIOUS! We voted the carne seca rosti the best out of our group. They aren’t open on Sunday otherwise we would have gone back as soon as we could. The rostis are good size and are yummy warmed in the microwave the next day. This place is definitely a gem!

This restaurant is worth trying for the sake of novelty. The empanadas were good I thought, the Rosti is a stuffed hashbrown portion that can be shared. If I was going to go back I would just get empanadas. They are pretty expensive but like I mentioned it was a Novelty meal and it’s worth trying if your not worried about price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had never had Brazilian food but we will have it again! We tried the bacon, chicken and ranch rosti and it was fantastic. The decorations are Mrs. Potato head which is fun for Toy Story fans. You can eat inside or out on the patio.
Biggest Potatoes I have ever seen!!!
Lots of flavor and huge portions. Not too have on sauce, so you can still actually taste the potato! The empanada was flaky and amazing! The garlic sauce...perfect on all of it!
