The Best Ever!!

By MALUV2Travel |

Coming from Boston where we tend to be coffee snobs, I must say this was the best latte I’ve ever had in my life!! We also had several of their “toasts” and one in our party had a taco. Excellent coffee, delightful staff and delicious food!! You can’t miss here!!

Great location - great tacos - great time traveling

This place is about as cool as it can be. Very low key, retro '70's ambiance, great tasting wholesome food. The two staffers I interacted with (at 7:30AM) were friendly and welcoming. The proximity on the Beltline is also awesome as is the building itself - an century old rail station. If you want the full experience, go check out their website too - it's a journey into and through the quintessential '70's.

Yowza what a surprise!

First time eating here today so we had no idea what to expect. Went with the wife around noon and after looking through their sparse but great menu we decided on a Muchacho taco for me, AL Pastor taco for wife and avocado toast to share. Man what great chow! My muchacho was flour tortilla with egg, chorizo, Pico de gaĺlo, roasted poblano and cheese...very good! Wife's al pastor was also delicious and very flavorful on corn tortilla with spiced pork, pineapple, onions, cilantro; really great flavor though it doesn't sound like it. Something else that didn't sound appetizing to us but turned out to be fantastic was the avocado toast: thick sourdough toast with avocado slices, arugula green leaf, sliced radish (I think!); look I'm a Checkers burger guy so I normally don't eat this kind of stuff but I/we was/were seriously impressed! To drink I had the orange Jarrilo in the bottle and my wife had the Blue Matcha Latte which was very "healthy" tasting but in a good way...kind of like a smoothie but with healthy crap in it! Anyway, seriously I personally left feeling very satisfied and so healthy I immediately went home and had a coke, some ice cream and a donut, because I felt I earned it! Oh and prices were really realistic. Definitely will return and def recommend.

Gave me life after a red-eye flight

I landed in ATL at 6:00 and this place was open earlier than others. Great and strong iced coffee. Ordered tacos based on the staffs suggestions - one Migas and one Muchacho - and they were hearty and delicious. Just the breakfast I needed to break into the day without sleep.

Great Start to the Day; gracious Muchado

Finally the stars lined up so I could meet some of the family for coffee and more. Great coffee - even the medium roast. Still feel the bite. Grain bowls - nice. Worth the walk to the head to see the Golden Eagle bar, beautiful in silence. Soundtrack is worth lingering for. Can't wait to experience the Golden Eagle.

Nice chill spot

Went here with a girl friend and had such a nice time sitting outside! The food was lite and healthy. The drinks were great as well. Interesting combinations! A must try!

Not worth it

It’s false advertisement the burritos not big and the food is GREASY it’s just by the belt line and they it anything

it really was that 70s vibe for me

When I walked into this restaurant I felt like I was in a movie: from the vintage decor, to the technicolor pallet, to the Party Wagon parked out front. The photos ops are endless. Muchaho tacos were tasty but it really was that 70s vibe for me . Here is what I tried: Cheesy "Yuda" w/ guac and queso, Street corn ribs Tacos: barbacoa, baja fish, chicken mole, al pastor, pork belly Surfer Burrito  pinto beans Fries  Drinks: Baja jacket, Vibe Check  Salsas: Roja, Habanero

Good stop on the belt line

Stopped in Sunday for lunch..fish taco, great! Surfer carne asada burrito, great! Pork belly taco, not so good..refried beans on some of the tacos, awful.:/ (Just being honest.) Solid guacamole appetizer and chips. The ceviche was good, wouldn't order it next time. Super cute place with nice indoor area and great outdoor patio space right on the belt line. I will definitely try again and recommend. Just avoid the refried beans.

Loved the Media Noche

I stopped into muchacho to wait out the traffic. I was overjoyed to know they serve media noches. Delicious!!!! I also had a breakfast taco with chorizo. Yummy. Friendly workers.

Golden Milk Latte

Had a really tasty golden milk latte and a delicious soft taco bacon and egg sandwich. Sat outside - really enjoyed this eatery. Very friendly service!

Tacos for breakfast? Why yes please!

By aestahl |

Love the vibe in this place... throw back to the 70s with a side of delicious. Tacos for breakfast are the best and Coke straight from Mexico... doesn't get any sweeter. Highly recommend going here, be aware that it's small and gets CROWDED quickly. Service is exceptional. Everyone is friendly and stand up polite. Would go back for sure!

Brick Chicken is a must

By Maria G |

We ate at the Golden eagle restaurant which is behind Muchacho. We sat outside and enjoy the lovely meal of brick chicken and garlic knots. The inside is 1950s cocktail lounge. The outside is lovely and peaceful. The chicken is enough for three people. It was delicious!

Tacos, yes. Customer service, no.

By Maddy H |

The breakfast tacos are delish, ill give them that. But I would not say they are worth the hour that they take to come out. Every time I am there I find my self waiting an absurd amount of time for my food. With NEVER a 'sorry' or an update. Today I sat next to a girl who was waiting over an hour for avocado toast. No customer service was displayed when she finally got it. It was there first day back open, but this has happened every time my friend has dragged me there before they shut down. Its cute, its trendy, but needs a customer service revamp desperately!!!! (especially since today my order was wrong when I got home)

Great breakfast/brunch - sit outside on the beautiful patio! Very chill.

Muchacho is cool. Great decor. Great outdoor seating (it reminded me of living in Austin - gravel under your shoes, umbrellas above you, and tons of tables outdoors). Great service. Great coffee and food! What's not to like? I stopped by Muchacho on a Sunday morning (my last stop in Atlanta before heading back to Nashville). I got there around 8 and was one of the only people there (when I left half an hour later, there were maybe five tables of people - but there are so many tables!). I ordered a cortadito (like a Cuban), which was great. I also ordered the salmon toast (big thick piece of soft toast with smoked salmon, cream cheese, pickled onions, and capers. It was delicious (if a bit hard to eat). I also got a guava pastelito as well, which was flaky and delicious. All in all, a great little breakfast on a pretty patio. Great last stop in ATL.

Quick Bite

Nice atmosphere. The food is subpar. No real taste to speak of. Fries were not seasoned well enough to be called spiced fries. Food was very fresh which isn’t a bad thing. Would recommend to friends as a nice atmosphere quick bite spot.

Great Tacos and Welcoming Atmosphere

By Taylor J |

Great taco place with a fun, casual atmosphere. There’s a wide range of options, so everyone can find something they like. I recommend ordering two different tacos to try more flavors — three if you’re really hungry. The cauliflower al pastor was especially good. Service was friendly and quick.

Anthony a good waiter

By Eleanor S |

We three old women aged 72, 82 and 83 wandered in late at night after a movie, about 50 years older than all the other patrons, and somewhat deafened by the music. Our waiter, Anthony Served us with non-condescending attention, and made us feel at home

Bomb breakfast tacos

By MAV |

This place was great! It was rainy and chilly when we stopped by, but with the huge amount of awesome outdoor space, it must be even better when it’s nice out. The breakfast tacos were delicious, as was the coffee, the staff were super nice and attentive, and the decor, mugs, etc were all fun. Great find, highly recommend

Cute L.A. Vibe

By OCTX214 |

Wanted to try a different coffee spot this morning, and found Muchacho online.. I’m glad I did! Great cappuccino, super friendly service, decent breakfast tacos. I had the Buckeroo, and the Reggae. Both were good, enjoyed the Buckeroo better. Both were better with salsa. They weren’t completely bland without, but I could tell they were missing a little something. The Avocado salsa was my favorite, but they were all tasty. We went early just in case there was a crowd (not sure of crowd size on weekends). Took a while to get food, but I’m sure that’s just because they cook to order so it was no big deal to us. I’d definitely go back, I liked the laid back vibe.. may be a different crowd during the evening. But, I appreciated the quietness and the no crowd on a Sunday morning. Enjoy!

Bad vibes

By The Q |

They are very rude here and will ignore you. This employee lied to me and told me that my order was not ready. I then proceeded to ask another employee and he checked and it was sitting there the whole time. It is not my fault that she is working Easter, her actions where totally unprofessional she had orange hair with a cap. I just left the store at about. 410pm. Too bad I didn’t get her name. I will never be coming here again. It’s giving bad vibes, especially on what’s supposed to be a holy day. Anyway be blessed and choose somewhere else to grub. 0/5
