If you like hibachi you will love this place! The food is perfect every time. The sauces are all from scratch made right in front of you. The show that the cooks do are out of this world. If you want a good laugh ask for Tiger. He’s the best!! This is our #1 place to eat in Vegas!!

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The chef, who was also the owner, put on a great show too. He was funny and incredibly gifted as a chef as well. I can't wait to go back.

We are from Germany and we love Hibachi. We are regulary in the U.S. and we are always vistiting Japanese Hibachi Restaurants. But this was the best of all! The quality of the beef was gorgeous, the sauces unbelievable! And the service was great, so friendly and polite. We will come back soon!

this place is great. look no further! i am a regular here and wouldnt go anywhere else! all the cooks are unique and great!

A small restaurant off the strip but definitely worth a visit.they have regular seating in the restaurant but the teppan cooking is where to go. Chef/owner Tiger is the best.excellent culinary skills and a top showman. I am a chef so I recognize good food when I taste it and his food is excellent.the sauces he creates are to die forwhich compliments all is food perfectly.his filet mignon and lobster was both cooked perfectly and taste was unbelievable.the 3 of us in our party ALL enjoyed the food and I'm sure the other 7 with us on the table did too. A good way to meet new people and share in the experience. Will definitely go back on my next trip to vegas

OMG...How do I even describe this place? First, we walked it from the street not knowing this was the best food in Vegas & were seated right away. You have to ask for Tiger as he was not only extremely entertaining & engaging, he is an awesome chef.He was a bit colorful at times & I could see how some could be offended by his performance, but what heck...you are in Vegas! Every course (& there were many) was cooked to perfection & the flavors exploded in my mouth. this was hands down the best dining experience I have ever had. We got so lucky finding this place. I can't wait to go back!

I just had my 3rd visit to Musashi Japanese Steakhouse and I brought my parents for their first trip. This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas and now it is my parent's favorite restaurant also. It is reasonably priced and you will leave stuffed. The food is incredible (the best fried rice anywhere) and their sauces they make (right at the table) are the best. I have been to many other teppanyaki restaurants and this one is the best by far. I followed Tiger (owner) from his time working as the head chef at a chain teppanyaki in Las Vegas. He got tired of not being allowed to make the changes that he wanted, so he left them and started his own restaurant. He has perfected his craft and has taught his other chefs very well. We had his brother-in-law this trip and he did an outstanding job. I have had Tiger cook for our table many times at his previous employment and on one of my visits to this restaurant. He is by far the best Tappanyaki chef I have every had. His skills, interaction with the guests and his sauces are all top notch. I had the steak and prawns and the meal was only $29.00. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better deal in Las Vegas for dinner. Do yourself a favor and stop by this fantastic restaurant the next time you are in Las Vegas, you will not be disappointed. I will be eating here every trip I make to Vegas and now my parents will be doing the same.

We love Teppan and where we find one, we'll visit it. Quietly set back from the strip our expectations have been fully met in the Musashi. The food is very fresh, excellently prepared, and the tricks of the chef are very entertaining.

We had a fantastic meal at Musashi. It is off the strip and prices were reasonable - we had a full steak, prawn and scallop filled dinner for three (including drinks) for about $170. The humor is a bit raunchy in a fun way, but would not be appropriate for children.

LONG overdue on this review! If you are in Vegas and you want a experience and AMAZING Tappan this is the place to go. We have been here at least 10 times over the past few years. We have brought our 11 & 14 year old kids the last couple of times. This visit was actually Thanksgiving day and we were lucky enough to have Tiger be our Teppanyaki chef. Let me just tell you it was an experience, his knife skills and showmanship is unparalleled. Everything he does looks effortless and is done with such precision. Eating here is like being brought into a good friends house and having them cook dinner, Good conversation amazing food and a hell of a show. the rest of the staff is amazing as well and are right there to refill drinks or get anything else thats needed. The unique thing about Musashi is its not like your normal Tappan experience from the soup containing meat to the salad having apple sauce to the multitude of custom sauces made right on the grill. Everything is cooked to PERFECTION however its requested. The entire meal we couldn't stop talking about how everything we ate was better then the next. This time being even better then the last. They also have sushi that is VERY good if that is what you want. How this place isn't always packed is beyond me, people have no idea what they are missing out on. I always recommend this place to my friends. Plenty of parking within the shopping center so that's not an issue either. I guarantee you will leave feeling happy Fat and Full thank you for an unforgettable thanksgiving

Musashi is to die for. High quality food, great ambiance, and a great value. This is my second visit and I wasn't disappointed. Awesome Chef!

We chose this place based on reviews at tripadvisor and were apprehensive as it got very good and bad reviews. We found both to be accurate. We have to say that we had a wonderful experience with great food here. Due to our seating time, we lucked out with the two of us getting a private seating. Our chef, Young(sp?), was great and very personable. He put on quite a show for us. When he found out we were from the big island, he made a volcano for us out of the onion (not sure if this is part of his typical routine or special for us -- we think it may have been special as the staff even seemed to take note of it). The other tables seemed envious of our chef. The food was excellent and portions were quite large -- we took home plenty. The chef modified our choice of "doneness" slightly to suit the high quality of the fresh meat & let us try it to see if we liked it that way -- it was perfect. The chief also made a bewildering array of sauces for us (he said he would do 6 but did 7). The hostess was a delightful young lady who was extremely helpful. She offered tips to us prior to seating. When we were ready to leave & trying to get an Uber, she came over and assisted us, even connecting us to their wifi when we were having difficulty. We also witnessed the "bad" at the next table over. There were a few young ladies at one end of the table. At the end of the meal, the chef fashioned a napkin into a phallic symbol and flashed it from under his apron and flopped it around their faces. NOT APPROPRIATE!!! This guy should be disciplined & fired if he does not clean up his act. Thank God we had Young.

We went looking for a habachi restaurant and were pleased to have found this just a block from our hotel. We got there for 5:30pm and were quickly seated at a grill. We were served a salad with a light dressing, and then a mushroom soup. By then the chef was ready and he began. He was very polite and very conversational - I had read reviews of rude jokes and comments but he was far from that - he made us all feel very welcome and entertained with his habachi skills. The food was good - in my opinion a little too oily and most things tasted the same, but once he had prepared all the sauces and made suggestions as to which combinations worked best, the tastes soon changed and began more more flavoursome. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would go again.

Make sure you sit at a teppanyaki table. The chef will come out and provide brilliant entertainment in cooking the meals on the hot plate in front of you. There will be juggling, flames, cutlery spinning and (sometimes) audience participation. On top of that, the food is fantastic. I had some of the best rice I've ever tried when I visited!

I went to Musashi with some coworkers while attending a conference in Las Vegas (one of the others had been before), and I was rather impressed with the overall experience. The quality of the meats was first-rate, and the sauces were perfect accompaniments to the food. We had a great and entertaining experience with our cook throughout his preparation of our meals as well. Musashi is definitely worth the short side trip off the Strip.

I was recently there with my family, the hostess was very kind to explain to us the different dishes, specialty and helped us choose the right plates for all. Her selection was excellent, service was what you would expect. Actually the only thing we didn't like too much was the internal aspect of the restaurant, as it seems a little outdated.

This is a Japanese steakhouse, but don't get it confused with Bennihana or another chain. This restaurant is a great refreshing change from the strip. Lots of locals so you know it is good. Give their fresh, yummy food a try and their staff is delightful.

Went here on Mother's day, had such a great time. I have read a few bad reviews about the service, but I experienced the exact opposite! First, we were sat down by our server David. He was really nice, easy to talk to and was great at recommending dishes. So to begin our meal he brought out a delicious salad and soup. This beef soup was so flavorful and my favorite dish overall! As appetizers we got the calamari tempura(good), and a bacon, shrimp skewer(great).Since it was Mother's Day all the moms got a complimentary Saki. Which I had never tried, bit strong for me since I don't drink but definitely much appreciated. For our entree, I got the shogun special and finally our chef came out to prepare our meal. Whats so great about this place is that it is not all about the food, its also about these chefs showing their passion, and doing what they love, right in front of you! Of course all those amazing sauces were both fun and delicious. There was not one I didn't like. My favorite was prob the yum yum w/ hot sauce! My Steak , was delicious as well as my chicken teriyaki. The chef even let me try some shrimp someone else had ordered!! I don't remember his name unfortunately but he was from Guadalajara. Overall, fun, unique, and the staff makes you feel at home. I will be back probably try their sushi next time!

Read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to try this restaurant on our first night in Vegas - a Monday night. I figured we wouldn't need a reservation and we just showed up to this out of the way, hole in the wall kind of place. It took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we were there. When they finally did, they said it would be an hour before we could be seated. I said 'no way' and they then quickly accommodated us rather than have us walk out. We waited at the bar for a few minutes and had a delightful chat with the bartender. We shared our dining table with a family of five celebrating and they were gracious and pleasant dining partners. Our chef was personal and entertaining. The food was outstanding, especially the sushi! Expensive but a great birthday treat for my daughter!

We were visiting Las Vegas and looking for a place off the strip for some Japanese food. We saw positive reviews for Musashi Japanese Steakhouse so we decided to give it a try. Let me tell you the reviews don't lie. The food and service was probably the best that I've ever had at a Japanese restaurant. Our hibachi chef was very meticulous and he made fresh garlic and teriyaki sauces in addition to the normal sauces you get with a hibachi meal. The food was cooked perfectly and our drinks were refilled frequently. I would highly recommend.

We went here after a recommendation from our Uber driver. Was not disappointed. The waiter that served us was really great in explaining everything. Wanted to try the teppanyaki experience but the waiting time was too long. Would defo visit again when I’m back in Vegas

Our friends made us eat here. Just because it's on tv doesn't make it great. My feet stuck to the floor from something. The whole place needs a good power washing. I expected the aroma to stick to me because of the hibachi but the other sticky surfaces bother me. The cook was entertaining and the food good enough. I'm sorry that I just couldn't get past the crud in the corners.

I've been coming to Musashi religiously for the past 5 years! Tiger the owner is amazing and is always working to create new reciepies or improve old ones. The tepan show is great and if you go after 11pm it's even better. When you're looking for a true Las Vegas expierence that you'll never forget, go for a late dinner and ask for the adult show when you make your reservation!. John does an especially good Adult show. If you have the opportunity to have Tiger cook for you, don't pass it up. I guarantee it will be one of the best decisions of your life. Sushi wise, it's some of the best sashimi that I've ever had. just ask the chefs what's good and they are very honest as to what's the freshest and best cuts. Be sure not to leave without ordering at least 1 Pornstar roll. After having a couple of these, I cant stop thinking about them for the next few weeks!

Been to every chain Japanese style restaurant known out there in several states. This is by far the best. The sauces are unique with a heavy touch of garlic unlike others. Fresh meat and veggies. This is my first 5 star rating. Great Job! A must while in Vegas!

By far the best hibachi I have ever had. Our table had chef/owner Tiger. Not only was he talented with incredible skills on the table, but he was historical cracking jokes and playing with the food. This is an absolute must do in Vegas.

This place is small , unassuming and tucked away in strip mall 1-2 blocks off the strip. Apparently it is the place to go judging by its past clientele. We were lucky to find this gem by accident. We were able to watch the chef prepare our sushi which looked beautiful and was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient . I would come back to this place every time I was in Las Vegas. Will post pictures later.

I go to Vegas multiple times a year for business, and always make a point to gather at this great restaurant with my friends!! All the chefs are great, but it's always fun if we are lucky enough to have the owner, Tiger as our chef! The food is always cooked to perfection and the homemade sauces are to die for!!! Additionally, if you are enjoying multiple adult beverages with a group of crazy friends, as one tends to do in Vegas...and want to experience the "adult" version of Teppanyaki, speak up and you will never forget what happens next! Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants that is "off the Strip".

Located not to far from the Vegas Strip this is a great cook in front of you Japanese Steak House. The three of us had a variety of different menu items and all were very good. Service and pricing was good too.

This restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the service, the chef and the meal was absolutely amazing. I have travelled extensively and I can honestly say that this was the very best meal I have ever had. We booked this restaurant for our wedding dinner and it did not disappoint. I cannot wait to return to Las Vegas for another opportunity to eat here!

We had Tiger take great care of our party of eight and it was the best Teppanyaki experience I have had anywhere in the world. He made homemade dipping sauces in addition to the standard offerings and cooked the food to perfection. For a great night in Las Vegas this should be on your list.

restaurant has a tepaniaki area where we stayed and dinenr was very nice with a Knife Show from the chef. food is good beside portions are not so generous as expected. Nice choice of beers also availlable

Our driver from the Hard Rock recommended Musashi and glad he did! Tiger cooked for us and did a great job with the food and jokes haha......will definitely go back when in Vegas!

Jason cooked us up some of the most memorable Hibachi in memory. Off the strip (thank goodness) and back to reality with a phenomenal Hibachi experience. The Miso soup was unbelievably authentic and the Hibachi sauces (cooked in front of you) were unique and extremely tasty. A great place to visit when in Las Vegas.

This place is awesome! You MUST make a reservation and request Tiger to cook for you. He is funny as hell and a great chef! Had the kobe steak.... it was perfect. You will not be disappointed.

Reserve a tepanyaki table, take a group, order one package per person, and share it all. You won't be disappointed and you'll be stuffed to the rafters.

We visit Musashi everytime we come to Vegas (twice a year). The food is amazing and the show they put on is always fun. The sauces are all made in front of you and are amazing. The kobe beef is the best beef you will EVER have. We can't say enough about this place we just love it so much. We have taken different friends there over the years and they all end up loving the place. You will never go wrong eating here!

From the the drinks to the food this was by far one of the best Teppan experiences ever for us. The food was flavorful, well seasoned and cooked. The helpings were more than enough, we even had leftovers the following day. We will definitely make a return visit the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Every time I'm in Vegas I visit Musashi. It's always good but when Tiger is your chef it's awesome. Great show, fun conversation and just really good food! Can't wait to go again!

The tuna nigiri was super fresh and flawless, and the portion of fish well outweighed the rice, which is one of the marks of a good sushi establishment. Spicy tuna roll, spicy scallop roll, spider roll, and XXX roll were all excellent. Be forewarned that the spicy tuna roll is really spicy.

Food was waaay better than Benihana!! Little divish hole in the wall place but worth it! We had reservations for 12a hibachi and had to order from the late night menu, which provided many choices, just not the full menu. Not sure if it was the time of day or if it's a regular thing there, but the cook was very entertaining in 'adult' ways...if you know what I mean. I would reconsider taken children after a certain time, but I am sure they are aware. We had a great time!!

Here's a word of warning - this is NOT a place for you to take your kids, grandparents or church group. That all said, if you are hamhocked on a Saturday night with a bunch of adults (and you are in Vegas, so you should be), then this is a must stop. the food is fine, but the show is outstanding. Request the owner as your chef, then be prepared for an hour of insult comedy, sexual innuendo and yes, shrimp suggestively positioned on your plate. Chef has great hibachi skills, but his sense of humor is the star here...

We love this place! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff is fantastic, and the food is amazing! No one's glass was ever half empty and the waitress was very attentive. My son was concerned about paying $29 for steak and shrimp, but I told him it would be worth it. Of course Tsutomu did not disappoint and my son said it was the best shrimp he has ever had. My non-seafood eating daughter even at the little crustaceans and loved them as well. After 2 hours we were stuffed and loved the show and were very happy.

I had the teriyaki rib eye. Very tender and very good. Service was good. Did not have to wait for a table.

I travel the US with my job and eat at every Japanese Steakhouse I can find. Without a doubt this is the best one to date. Big John was our chef and did an amazing job adding different flavor to our entrees. This is something I've not run across in my travels. Most Japanese Steakhouse are tasteless. Not the case here folks. If your are in Vegas and want great food and a free show go see Big John..

The food was wonderful and our chef was a lot of fun. We will return every time we are in town. I am not even a fan of Asian cuisine, but I loved every bite.

We, Wife and I decided to ditch the our kids and took grandkids to the tepanyaki restaurant. We were greeted Japanese style greeting and grandkids were amazed that I spoked Japanese. Menu itself is not unique a typical Tepanyaki menu. My wife was embarrassed the way fried rice was made, X rated or certainly R rating show. Good thing grandkids didn't understand the meaning, I am hoping they didn't. Otherwise they do have few more steak and sea food source than nationally know steak house. If you like tepanyaki style cooking go Musashi.

This was a very fun night off the strip. We arrived at 10pm for a very late dinner. We were fortunately seated right away and the chef started cooking about 15 minutes later. Someone in the crowd we had at our table was celebrating a birthday, so we were treated to the "Dirty show". It was lewd, crude and rude, but it was hysterical. The chef was very talented and memorized every patrons order. He offered suggestions and made several sauces to try the different foods with. I had the Shogun (Chicken and 10oz Filet), my wife had the Samurai special #3 (NY steak and Salmon Filet). All the foods were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The steaks were bursting with flavour and obscenely tender. Everything from the piping hot fried rice to the bean sprouts and other vegetables was cooked amazingly. This will be on my list for the next trip!

This place is expensive but very small portion. My jaw drops when I saw the $30 plate has tiny portion. The teppanyaki has 2.5 hours waiting while the tables are nearly empty. Maybe just 1 chef available for Teppanyaki.

I've been to a few hibachi restaurants in the past, however, this time the chef (nice Korean guy) took extra time and effort to give us a great experience! My 2.5 year old toddler was both scared and excited to see all the frying and steaming going on the grill. We had a small group in our party, but the chef still put on a show as if there was a dozen group of people in front of him.

We love to try different hibachi restaurants as we travel. This one not far from the Vegas strip didn't disappoint. We both ordered the filet mignon and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Will definitely return there on another Vegas trip

We visit this place every time we travel to Las Vegas. The service, food, and drinks are outstanding! Not recommended for young children. Prices are reasonable for a teppan restaurant. Highly recommend!

Food if prepared by owner is very good, and the variety of sauces unique ... otherwise don't bother... wait time is long... and often the service is VERY POOR... we had a reservation for 6 we waited at the bar for 30 minutes and then they sat walk-in before us, and we had to sit by a sink... We have had both good and bad experiences here... more bad then good... better food then most Japanese style steakhouse, sadly the service is so poor and non-responsive that the great tastes are lost in the frustration of the poor service... save yourself an uncomfortable meal go Elsewhere

I came here a few days ago by recommendation of quite a few people in Los Angeles. I was seated promptly and served some drinks i ordered. I got the Geisha Special with a washington and a Ninja. I had heard exclusively from a friend of mine who plays golf with a cook there named tiger and he told me to def go there and try it out. It was absolutely amazing, from the freshness of the sushi to the vibe it was great. totally loved the place. And Definetly ask for the Full SHOW!!!!

Unbelievably Good Food, prepared right in front of you. The New York Strip with Prawns was awesome. Our cook put on a great show & had a lot of fun with us. They have some great sauces too, to have with your traditional Japanese foods you can have as appetizers or as entrees. We had a group of 10, we all had a great time. It is also priced very reasonable, you could spend $20 a head or $150 depending on your tastes. My tab with a New York Strip, appetizers & several beers was less than $50.

This restaurant is off the strip. It's definitely popular with Vegas locals and is especially fun after 2 am. Everything is amazing - especially the filet and the Kobe beef. The chefs are funny, and the crowd is always interesting.

Food; Amazing! Drinks; Amazing! Service; Amazing! A plus If you love good food and racy adult content.

Ok a Japanese steak house you want well this one is it!! Lots of stars have eaten at this location you can see the pics on the wall. Nice atmosphere and the show was different lots of new twists and the sauces some he made himself on the spot. Salad was great with apple ginger sauce and the filet was awesome. Everyone had a great time. This is as good if not better than the best ones we have been to , a great choice and the prices are reasonable. Had a blast!!!

Musashi is Okay. The steakhouse show and food is Beni Hana quality. That is, it is fine for a cheap (by Vegas standards) date. Don't take anyone there if you want to impress them.

This is the second time coming to Vegas I have made it a priority to eat here. I know now that the food is great and all the chefs are wonderful; HOWEVER, if you ask for the owner TIGER, you will have an evening you will never forget. In fact, I can't go to another Japanese steakhouse without being disappointed after Tiger. Seriously. You have never seen a chef that is more creative (makes up to EIGHT extra sauces in front of you that are to die for), energetic (hands move so fast it's better than a workout), friendly (telling stories and fun facts the whole show), and entertaining (some of the regular cute tricks but a few more up his sleeve that I haven't seen before). My husband lives in Vegas and takes his high performers here as a treat and it is highly sought after as a reward. Yes, you could go somewhere ON the strip, but those IN THE KNOW (celebrities, locals) come here. It's two major streets east of the strip on Paradise...easy in and out. Don't forget....ask for TIGER!

Delicious food and good show watching the chef cook the teppanyaki! We found this place on the recommendations of friends, it’s a bit off the strip but totally worth it!! Good vegetarian options as well.

It was very late when we arrived in Vegas on Thanksgiving night. We found many places off the strip we closed for Thanksgiving but we really were too tired to get dressed up to go to a restaurant on the strip. We checked for any restaurants close to our La Quinta Inns and suites and found Musashi. Well it was PERFECT! We chose to order off the menu and we were delighted with the service and the food. Next trip we'll try the table top dinner show.

I have been here at least 20 times and have NEVER had a bad experience or meal. The atmosphere is great just be sure to make a reservation because it's hard to just walk in and get sat without waiting. OH and don't be that guy that doesn't tip the hibachi chef, they put on a good show for you and cook you a great meal so show some appreciation by simply tipping them. Their bar/drinks are really good too if you don't like the drink they will remake it for you with a smile. Absolutely love this place!!

Awesome experience at a great price. Sit at a teppanyaki table and the chef is great entertainment. Loads of fun and the food was fantastic.

Our favorite place to eat in Las Vegas, especially after getting off from work at 1am. The lunch special is the same food at half the price (without the after hours adult teppanyaki references).

We make our hotel reservations, then our air, and then our Musashi dinner reservations! Eatiing here during our in Vegas is a must. We don't eat Teppanyaki anywhere else because nothing can compare. The menu is quite similar to other Japanese Steakhouses, but the food is custom made, including the sauces. Their fried rice is yummy, it is all just outstanding. I haven't had the sushi as I am not a fan, but I have heard from friends that the sushi is delish as well. This is not far off the strip and a short cab ride away from most any hotel. Do yourself a favor and go. You will not be disappointed!

I have been to a few Japanese Teppanyaki Steakhouses before and none of them measure up to Musashi. In the past it has always been an experience with mediocre food. The food at Mushashi was cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious and our chef was very entertaining and talented. Being slightly off the strip I would have probably never ventured there, but it came highly recommended and no regrets here. I will be back no doubt.

Had read great reviews for this japanese steakhouse and did not disappoint. Reviews had mentioned if we had "Tiger" as our chef we would be in for a real treat, he was working the grill next to ours and so seen some of his flare, but our chef had a great show as well. Lots of interacftion with my wife and I, others at table did not seem as interested, to our benefit, lol as he was dazzling with the cutlery, throwing eggs into his hat, shirt, sliding them down his spatula, creative with sauces and extremely good food. I ordered the Meat special which included Kobe beef and my wife the house special and we shared great tastes of diffrent flavors, especially enjoyed the fried rice and of course melt in my mouth Kobe beef.

Although I've seen mixed reviews for Musashi on trip advisor, yelp, and urban spoon, I have to say my experience was very good. Our chef, Jason-San (jk) was very skilled, and inquired as to our personal tastes and preferences for the preparation of our meals. The food was fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared. Chef Jason prepared interesting sauces on the hibachi for each of us, and was careful to prepare the vegetarian dish prior to any meat hitting the table. The filet was moist and tender, and the shrimp were large and very fresh. The fried rice really was the highlight, maybe the best fried rice I'd ever eaten. Close to the convention center on Paradise, you should give it a try, I'm glad I did.

I was expecting a bit more after reading all the other reviews but only found it to be an ok experience. The atmosphere is very dark and not realy that nice. There is "adult hurmor" used while preparing the food. I did not find it offensive but also did not find it necessary. I found the food to be very bland as compared to other Japanese steakhouses. Note: onions and carrots are added to the fried rice. That is unusual based on places we have dined. My only kudos were for the sauces, they were amazing and very much needed to add flavor to the meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not return on my next visit.

Yong was awesome. We traded stories all through the meal while he cooked a fantastic meal. Strongly recommended. Great atmosphere

If you're going to Vegas, you need to stop here. Even if you don't eat sushi or think you don't like Japanese food, you need to try this place. The chef is amazing and puts on one heck of a show. The steak and rice and all the sauces they whip up in front of you melt in your mouth. The price is also excellent considering all the food you get and the awesome show. Cant wait to go back!

Went to this restaurant since it was near our hotel. Heard it was featured on TV before. There are photos of celebrities who visited at the entrance. We did not call for reservation and got seated right away ( we were there about 5:30pm). The sashimi is not fresh, 10 pcs for $50! Rib eye was not what i expected for $23 bucks. The takoyaki balls were hard, it's just flour with a piece of octopus inside. Not pleased with the service, different servers come to your table to get your order, not even a 'thank you come again' when we headed out, they just stared at us.

We're from out of state, but every time we are in Vegas we'll come here for teppanyaki. Yes this place is a bit of a dive, it's not fancy and it's not trying to be. BUT that said the teppanyaki has always been great every time I've been with family and friends. The place is always busy when I go. And for the price ($45 for ribeye and lobster meal) is quite reasonable, it comes with shrimp starter, soup, salad, vegetables, fried rice and entertainment. We were so stuffed, we couldn't finish our food. If you want to have a tasty late night meal with some fun, cheeky chefs (depending on the tables vibe, I think the chef knows to feel his audience out - I've had hilarious over the top x-rated with a bachelorette group to systematic g-rated with my parents - just depends on who I go with) with a group of friends or adult family members and you don't mind the "divey" atmosphere head on down to Musashi and have the teppanyaki. They have a good sake selection as well, I like the cloudy one.

GREAT experience - plain and simple. Well seasoned food, nice portions and attentive service (a sometimes rarity in Asian cuisine restaurants).

This is one of the best Japanese Steakhouses that I have had the pleasure of visiting. The sushi was awesome and fresh. I really enjoyed the Beef Shabu-Shabu as it was very flavorful and a great value. Everyone was friendly, the wait staff were excellent, and the bill for everything was very reasonable. Its a little off the strip, but well worth the effort to visit.

With homemade sauces made to order, this place blew me away. I loved it and can't wait to come back. The "baby" hibachi chef (he's only been working there 5 years) was not only a great chef, but was very nice and funny and want way above the call of duty. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Owner very active and cooks at one of the tables. Always enjoy going to this restaurant. Excellent service.

My husband and I just went to Musashi the other day because we were visting Vegas. We went there because I saw it on the Food Network. Tiger cooked for us. He is excellent and the best Japanesse food that I have every had. The sauces he made were very good.

Went to this restaurant with family after seeing Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. This restaurant was within walking distance. First impression was an old looking restaurant with supplies sitting in booths. The Steakhouse cooking stations were standard, clean too. As for the meal experience, we were very disappointed with the cooking procedures. We have been to many of these "cook in front of you" Steakhouses. This was the first time that we were served rice, veggies and bean sprouts at the BEGINNING of the meal. We did not get served the meats/seafood until the end of the meal. We were already full and had to take it home. Very unorthodox and did not enjoy our meal because of that. Will look for another place to spend our dollars.

We were looking for a good Japanese steakhouse while staying at a casino on the strip & decided to try this one. I am so glad we did. The chef was EXCELLENT with both the entertainment value and conversation. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. I had the filet mignon while my sister had scallops and prawns. Everything was cook and seasoned just right. There were also so many original sauces to choice from that each bite was special. Truly a fantastic evening.

I suppose if you flew into Vegas from cow-town Iowa … and you’ve never experienced the clowning antics of a teppanyaki (ie, Benihana) chef, you’d be mesmerized by this joint. So much so that you won’t have enough sense to know the food ain’t that good. Ended up here due to missing last seating at Lawry’s Prime Rib, at one end of Howard Hughes Drive. Knowing that the other end of HH (a quick, quiet drive at night passing through a small business park) terminates at Paradise Road across from a small strip mall called The Park-- a mall that houses about seven restaurants including Mushashi -- led to its unfortunate choice. The venue is divided into three sections: The teppanyaki/griddle area, a sushi bar as well as a section for off-the-menu dining … sporting ugly plastic booths & tables such as you would find at any ghetto McDonalds. So much for ambiance. To keep it short, the Japanese ribeye dinner on my side of that plastic table was meager in portion, bland in taste … and priced too high. I glopped on the soy sauce to try to bring the meat back to life. Still, the patient was declared DOA. Service was slow and barely attentive. The only good news is that this joint is open very very late night. RECOMMENDATION: You want Benihana? GO to Benihana. It’s housed inside a beautiful space at The LVH (formerly The Las Vegas Hilton). It’s just a few blocks north of this joint, right up Paradise Road. Happy Motoring !

You must request Tiger for your chef. He makes the experience what it is. He's hilarious and will entertain you throughout. Have some hot saki and relax, this is where the local celebs come!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner because he saw it on tv and it had great reviews. We walked in and were definatly shocked that it wasn't as nice as we expected. We were sat and it took a little while for the waitress to ask us if we wanted drinks. Our chef was absolutely HYSTERICAL!!! It was definately an adult show but since we love any and everything inappropiate, we LOVED him!!! I would recommend the Kobe beef! It was heavenly!! The lobster was aslo remarkably good!! We would definately go back there!!

Immediately upon entering the door we were greeted by a very funky smell. That's never a good sign. It's also not very appetizing. The place was pretty empty but we were told to wait, as they didn't have a hibachi chef for us. We decided to head to the bar. The bartender was somewhat cocky and also didn't know half of what he was spewing out of his mouth. For example, his excuse for not having Ramune was because he claimed it was Korean....um, yeah...okay...Every 12-year-old on the planet knows better, but no biggie. I ordered a Mai Tai, which he didn't know how to make. Dude, if you ever see this review, it is made with RUM! I think he made me a Screwdriver instead....as for the place itself, it was dimly lit (probably a good thing), and really shabby. It was like being at a basement party in upstate New York with a hibachi theme. Our hibachi cook was very nice, entertaining, and did a nice job preparing our meals. A better hibachi restaurant should poach this guy. Would we ever return? Extremely unlikely. It was just way too dirty. The bathroom was gross too. The only thing to dry your hands with are the toilet seat protectors (from the wall dispense), CLASSY! The restaurant never got busy while we were there, so it should have been clean, and well supplied....two stars is generous.

My son chose this restaurant randomly, and we were not deceived at all!! We LOVED the fresh salad with home-made apple and sauce. Sushi, fried calamari and teriyaki chicken were excellent. We had 6 or 7 bowls of Miso soup!! Soo good!

Went to Musashi to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a great time. The cook was so much fun, the food was delicious and everybody had a blast. The scallops are to die for, as are their sauces. We had so much to eat but we enjoyed everything!!! Will definitely go back to this place again in the future!

Reservations needed! Very popular spot, especially for their after midnight specials! People are very nice and very accommodating. We had a party of 13 (a whole large hibachi table) and everything was executed perfectly. The chef was great, the food was great and at the end the waiter did a magic card trick for our guest of honor (we were celebrating her 40th birthday and this is her favorite place!). Some special fun surprises if you're up for it!

The food was really good and the portions were very filling. The prices are reasonable and the show was funny. The only complaint I had is the the restaurant could use a good cleaning and an overhaul of the decorations as they were old, dirty, and broken.

This place is hidden off the strip and is average price for a hibachi style dinner. The food and hibachi chef were above well above average. The experience would be better is they gave a facelift to the place IMHO

This is such a great place. Open till like 4am. The food is amazing and the service is great. If you are in Vegas its a must.

Tripadvisor doesn't have a category between "Average" (3 stars) and "Very Good" (4 stars). I would give it a "Good" rating. We decided to go for sushi rather than hibachi experience. We thought that sushi was very fresh and tasty. It was pretty expensive for what it was, but I guess if you look at prices through a "Vegas lens" it's not too bad. Decor of the restaurant was very meh. It looked like one of those cheap Chinese-run sushi places that there are many in most cities in the US. Nothing fancy at all. We looked at all the great ratings this place had on various sites and thought it's going to be a dining out experience in Vegas. We dressed up for it and, let me tell you, we were certainly waaaay overdressed for the occasion. Place is also located pretty far from the Strip in a small mall. Taxi from the strip (Aria) cost us $25 to get there. All in all, if you are looking for a unique Vegas experience - skip it. If you just want good sushi with no frills - this is your place.

BEST tepanyaki restaurant I have ever been to, whether it be in Los Angeles, Orange County, North CA , this place continues to be my number one. With leftovers, the food tastes even better the day after !

If you're looking to have some laughs and a great dinner. You must try this place. Good food and sushi if you don't get to sit at the grill.

I have now gone here at least 3 times on business. They make the sauce in front of you!! So awesome, food is very good but i am just amazed when they start making the sauce for each individual, he can make it as spicy as you want!! Doesnt look like much inside or out but its great. Make reservations!!

We went with about 15 people for a business team dinner. The food was good I thought, I had filet and lobster tail. Some of my colleagues weren't impressed with their food though. Our cook was excellent, fast and funny, but the cook on the other side was slow and not entertaining. It was very hot in the restaurant the whole time. Just an average place. Not bad at all, just average.

This is one of, if not the best, Hibachi style food that I have ever had! The restaurant was tucked away in a small strip mall and appeared very unassuming.

We had so much food , so much sushi and the service was awesome. Please try this restaurant you can't go wrong.

I have been at many Hibachi restaurants - this one is a step up - a cut above the rest. Besides the great Hibachi chef we had who put on a show, the food was great and the overall experience was just great. It doesn't look like much when you walk but looks can be deceiving and it is definitely a hidden gem off the Vegas strip.

This is simply the definitive teppan restaurant. You will not enjoy a better experience anywhere. We have enjoyed this restaurant since Tiger opened. Besides the varied and excellent menu choices, you should study the beverage list which includes Japanese craft beers and unique choices of sake. The ladies in our group enjoyed "Banzai Bunny " which is a sparkling blueberry flavored sake. They also have choices for the more serious sake afficianado as well. Tiger is very responsive to the wishes of the table. He puts on a great show and responds to the mood and tastes of the group at the table. Tiger is probably the top teppan chef in the USA. Skill wise and performance wise he is second to none. All of the teppan chefs are superior. Make a reservation, come here with a happy heart and a fun group. Interact with your chef and you will have an experience that you will remember forever. You might even find yourselves seated with a celebrity. We did.

By far the greatest Teppanyaki restaurant I have ever been too. All the sauce are made in the grill. The chef is the owner and he's "R" rated. But he is very funny and never makes people feel made fun of. I had the steak and lobster. Unreal

We actually ended eating here for Thanksgiving dinner, talk about an untraditional holiday. We got three rolls with salmon--the Washington Roll, the Salmon supreme, and Sex on the Beach. For all three the salmon was super fresh and had an excellent taste. We also ordered pork gyoza which I enjoyed but the wife not so much, and Beef Negimaki which were ok but the wife liked more than me. I would stick with the sushi or sashimi here. The service was friendly and efficient. I thought that the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a very good experience. If I stay in that part of Vegas again I would definitely consider returning.

Love Japanese food and the sushi here is delicious. Not fancy surrounding so if clean and nice works for you with great food, you will love this. . Miso soup is delicious, wahami salad is good, and then the lobster and fried banana roll is dynamite! Absolutely fabulous! And the Buddha rolls were wonderful, too. Loved anything we tried. Service is casual so just relax and enjoy good food at a reasonable price and away from the crowds.

I was amazingly impressed by musashi.. after a long day in vegas and hungry i found it impressive that the restaurant was opened late and catered to walk ins.. the food was excellent and the chef was very crafty, once in vegas i highly recommend you visit musashi.. 10 on 10!!!!!

This is one of my favorite places to dine at when in Las Vegas. We (be it with friends, mom, husband - whomever I visit Vegas with) do not leave without dining there, usually for dinner. I've mostly only dined at the Teppan tables, which makes for an entertaining dining experience, but this past visit, while waiting to be seated, I shared a sushi roll from the sushi bar and found it to be very good too. Make sure to bring your appetite because the food at the Teppan tables is quite plentiful and you will want to try everything that will be served (the course usually includes miso soup, side salad with yummy ginger dressing, fried rice, veggies and your protein of choice). If you're anything like me and have a smaller appetite, you can share an order for an additional $5.00 fee, and I still found it to be plenty of food for light eaters. Reservations highly recommended!! Keep in mind this place is always lively. It's great for a fun group outing, and also fun enough for a date night. And in true Vegas form, if you are lucky enough to get Chef "BJ" (Jerome) stay tuned for a hilarious and "adult" experience - it's all in harmless, good fun!!! :) (Disclaimer: I visited this restaurant for my bachelorette party and it made for an unforgettable memory.)

The chef was outstanding and was much better than any other Chef that I've had at a Japanese Steakhouse. His name was Kim. I found the food to be okay and this would be very close to 5 Stars if it was just a little bit better. It was cooked well but I just didn't didn't like the sauces.

I found this restaurant on trip advisor. We were looking for a good Japanese steakhouse on the strip or close by. I have eaten at two on the strip which were expensive and not good (shibuyu in MGM). I was a little scared when we walked in to Musachi. It is very dark and the sushi bar area was empty. The food was great and the chef , fantastic. Most of our party had steak and prawns. All six of us enjoyed this place and will be back.

I love this place for friends, dates, whatever. Pretty solid staff, food is always tasty though I wouldn't say excellent. If food was slightly better it'd be 5 stars. As is, I'd do 4.5. Good value.

We got the beef hot pot. We each got our own, but easily could have shared. The broth used to cook us so flavorful and delicious. Mid priced but you get a lot of food. I wish there was something like this near my hometown.

I have eaten here before and always liked it in the past. I had my wife and kids in town with me while I was attending a trade show so I thought I'd "treat" them to what is normally a good place. It was my son's birthday and he likes Japanese food so this sounded right. We had some sushi while waiting for our reservation, which may have been our downfall because it caused us to miss the cook that I usually get. We were a little late with the sushi, so they put us in with a later bunch at the grill. Our cook came out and introduced himself, then took our orders and started the show. It didn't take long for it to go wrong however. While attempting to use a squirt bottle to add some sauce to what he was cooking on the grill, the cook "massaged" the bottle in a very suggestive way causing it to "shoot" all over the food. Some of the guests laughed at the obviously pornographic suggestion but I was horrified. I had a 20 year old daughter and two teen aged boys with me. My wife was speechless. It proceeded to get worse however. The cook brought out a mold from the kitchen which was shaped like male genitalia. He filled it with rice and pointed it at my daughter which of course promoted more laughter from some of the guests. If the cook wasn't armed with some very long knives, I might have went after him. Then this idiot proceeded to talk to my daughter all through the rest of the dinner, trying to impress her with his former acting credentials. My son, (the birthday boy) actually got his meal served last. Of course I wanted to speak to the owner after this was through. And, of course he was busy cooking. I called a few days after that when I got home and a lady answered the phone. She promised me the owner would call back. I'm still waiting for the call. If he calls and I get an apology and a refund, I'll let you all know.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is amazing, the chefs are entertaining and you will leave satisfied in every respect.

This place got such good revues that we had to try it. At first, I was almost afraid to go in. Located in a strip mall and the place was kind of dark....and red. Everything was very old and lots of employees hanging around, doing nothing. We wanted a Japanese Hibachi Table service, so we decided to give it a try! Although I was turned off by the surroundings, I have to say that the food was quite good. The chef we had was very talented and mad some sauces we'd never experienced at other Japanese Steakhouses. We were a party of 4 and everyone was quite satisfied with their food. The place had concrete floors and old furniture, which was a bit of a turnoff for me, but as I said....food was quite good!

Visited Musashi Japanese Steakhouse while on vacation with my wife. We chose this restaurant due to the excellent reviews and were not let down. The show performed by the chef as well the home made unique sauces make Musashi different (in a better way) from your typical Japanese Steakhouse. Will definitely visit again our on next trip to Las Vegas.

We decided to celebrate my birthday by having dinner here on a Thursday evening! We arrived in the parking lot just after they opened and as we were getting out of our car another car parked directly next to us and the male driver ran inside the restaurant. I told my family...that's probably our chef...and he's running late. Turns out ...I was right. The bad news was he looked hung over and had the personality of a bored librarian! We were seated at a table with four other people even though we requested our own table. The server was attentive and took our order but our hung over chef was a huge disappointment. His "entertainment" consisted of a few bangs on the grill with his spatula and then he asked if we had seen any food movies! I thought part of the dinner was supposed to include some " razzle dazzle" cooking skills but all we got was a tired chef who actually had the nerve to criticize Benihana as he was cooking. The quality of the food was excellent but the total experience was pathetic. We will not return to this restaurant and I would not recommend it to anyone! I wish I could report better feedback but sometimes you gotta hear the truth! And...our meal for four was nearly $200! Not worth the money at all!

We were a group of guys going to Musashi. We all ordered the teppanyaki which were a huge experience - both visually and food-wise. PROS Fantastic food Cooking the food was actually a great show Decent price level Open until 4am CONS - none

We had dinner at this resaurant. We went with family to meet there while we were in town. We've eaten there many times. The teppan shown was great. Our chef prepared our meals to order. We each ahd something a little different, Overall, the food is very good. Their sushi is very good as well.

This was the typical Celebrities Visit Us place. Over priced experience for what should have been around half as much in cost. MAYBE the better experience would have been eating at the tables where the chef tosses foods around and entertains you? However, that portion was booked and we ate at a table.

We used to go to eat at Mushashi every time we went to Las Vegas. Our favorite cook was Jason. When we made reservations on 5/4/15 we learned that Jason had quit but we went ahead and tried it anyway. We went there at 1AM to have a late night dinner. The people eating at the Tepan tables looked like drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes. I understand this is Las Vegas, but felt like we were going to be killed in there if we had looked at one of the other people sitting at the table the wrong way. When we ordered our food and after a one hour wait the cook finally arrived (who we later found out was the owner) we asked him what had happed to Jason. the cook/owner immediately acted like he took offense to this and was bad mouthing the former cook while he was cooking. We had ordered the late night seafood combo which cost $20 each. When we got our food the cook/owner only served us enough seafood to be considered a child's plate. I felt so ripped off that had paid $40 for 2 plates of fried rice with sauce and a measly amount of seafood. I used to leave their stuffed. The cook/owner also did not do any tricks, no entertainment, and no onion volcano he just talked bad about the former cook the whole time saying how he was better, When I called the owner the next day to complain, He said that the portions are smaller on the late night menu and they do not entertain late at night, but yet the table that was next to us has a full show going on. I had requested a refund for the bad experience, but he would not give me a penny back. I will not be returning to this establishment after this bad experience

The sukiyaki beef was very good. Staff were friendly. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good resto off the strip.

I've been eating at Musashi for about seven years now, it is simply the best restaurant I have ever been to. The food is excellent, the sauces are amazing and the show is funny. Tiger and Young are excellent cooks who will make you laugh. I've sent countless friends to Musashi and never had a single one be disappointed. It's worth getting off the Strip to have a special meal at Musashi!

Grand Finale roll was the best sushi roll I’ve ever had (and I eat a lot of sushi). The hibachi was the best I’ve ever had (oh h the garlic). I can’t recommend this highly enough.

My husband and I are locals and we visit musashi as often as possible. It's open late for the Vegas locals and is often not very crowded during earlier dinner hours on weekdays. Don't be worried if its not busy at 6pm. I promise you if you Go back at 1am and it will be packed! the portions are huge and chefs make custom sauces on the grill in front of you. So delicious! The later hours host a more adult humor show. So, if you plan to bring kids go earlier in the evening. This place puts behinana to shame. It's a Vegas must!

This is a delicious place off of the Strip. It's in a strip mall area though. Looks are deceiving. It was one of the best meals we had in Vegas. The miso soup was the best I have ever had...weird, right? It had truffle oil in it. And the chef's antics were quite entertaining!

I must begin with an apology, because I took so many pictures.. amazing pics; of all of the delicious food, the menu, the classic decor, a few videos of the impeccable teppanyaki chef Jason.. But I lost my phone the next day. All I can hope for is that I can properly describe the amazing deliciousness for you... Musashi is a hidden gem on Paradise road and just about Flamingo. It's tucked in the left side of a wonderful shopping center, filled with all types of delicacies. If you want to just sit at a normal table, or eat at the sushi bar I don't think you need a reservation, but if you are going to partake on the most wonderful part of the experience: which is the Teppanyaki Masterpiece.. We sat down on the corner of the grill, and our chef Jason began his performance.. What a treat.. I'm saddened that the photos are gone and I can't show you a visual example. But here goes..... Jason made us all smile with creative onion volcano to a adult, but sweet fire fighter toy to put out the flames.. There's something magical about watching a Teppanyaki chef in his craft... The pride, the precision, the showmanship...It's second to none. Musashi is actually an old favorite of mine, introduced thru a perfect friend..My visit this time, as perfect as the last. The ingredients are so fresh. The vegetables are as though they've fallen from a glorious garden in the sky. Each one is juicy with flavor, and just the right tenderness, Chef Jason gave us, I believe a total of 10-12 sauces made fresh on the grill in front of us.. Fresh sesame seeds with garlic... ss with chili...wasabi mayo.. ginger based.. and of course rooster sauce among others. The tricky part about eating somewhere like Musashi is this: you never want to stop. We came with empty stomachs, and I was full just from dipping veggies, which by the way did not need anything. Chef Jason grilled up lobster, scallops, three types of steak, fried rice, veggies and calamari... Yeppp.. doggie bag... but the taste was so good, that ate the rest as soon as I got home. I enjoyed an exceptionally made bloody mary from there fully stocked bar. And sat and had the best dinner I've enjoyed in a very long time. I was lucky enough to be seated at the grill next to charming family of young children and a mother. I was beyond impressed by the beautiful 6 year old princess looking girl cried, and when we asked why she replied, " they ate all of my sashimi".. all I could say is wow... The beest part of the night and story is that charming family was Chef Jason's. They had all come by to partake in his gift and spend some quality dinner time. It was so nice to enjoy such a beautifully prepared meal with such incredible company. The restaurant has a romantic ambience to it with photos of Tiger (the owner) with different celebrities that have realized how much of a jem Musashi is. There are about a dozen large picnic style tables and a quaint sushi bar tucked directly in the back of the restaurant.. Around a couple turns and curves is the bar, where we waited until we were seated for dinner. Once you enter the Teppenyaki Kingdom of Magic... (totally my own words.) It is simple and clean. With crimson walls and enormous frames of the most intricately designed kimonos I've ever seen. I was told two of them are from a wedding... There are so many things my photos would've shown you... I guess all I can tell you is that the food is to die for. It's not cheap, and you can tell your money is well spent. It's the finest cuts of meat you've ever seen.. Filet with marble that just melts in your mouth... the lobster and scallops also mouth watering. The service note worthy, you have to try it yourself.. You will thank me later...

We really lucked out last night when we had the pleasure of watching the infamous Tiger cook our dinner! Guests opposite us where locals who had booked 11 times previously to see Tiger at work, this was their first successful time and they were delighted with the show! The quality of the food was excellent, and the sauces hand made in front of guests were a really lovely touch. The comedy and fun of the Tepanyaki show was hilarious and we walked away with full tummies and a smile on our face. It is a quick 5-10 minute taxi ride to this restaurant from down town Vegas hotels, and an experience not to be missed!

The cooks are great. I have been here with family, friends, and my boyfriend. We always have a good time and the staff make sure that we do. The food is to die for. Taste: all of the flavors you can imagine. Textures too!! Highly recommend to visit here if you haven't, and go again if you have. I know I'll be there again!

We went expecting the usual tepanyaki and that's what we got. Food was well prepared with the added benefit of some custom, made-in-front-of-you sauces. I particularly liked the spicy yum-yum sauce. We both had the Katana special (chicken and shrimp) with fried rice. Topped off with a Sapporo beer and we left happy. Other reviewers have mentioned a particular chef named Tiger. Maybe if we return we'll ask about getting him to be our chef. The one we had seemed a bit lackluster (like he was counting the hours until his shift was over?).

There is nothing I can say but amazing. The service, the show and the food are awesome. Find it in the strip mall next to the Moroccan place. There is a reason so many people in the food industry go there. Open late, and always great

I was first introduced to Musashi's for my birthday last year and have loved it ever since! I'm local so I'm used to having to entertain my out of towner friends and I always add Musashi's to the list of places to go when they're in town. I never actually go during their normal business hours. They have a midnight to 4am Happy Hour where the tepanyaki side ranges from $11-$18 for a soup, and your whole mean and the standard tepanyaki (Cook it in front of you-show). The owner, Tiger, is the best by far so if you make reservations and your in town for a special occasion ask for him. If your a girl, such as myself, and are in town for a birthday or ESPECIALLY Bachelorette Party request the "dirty" show. You'll be laughing all night. Its such a good time with excellent food.

Musashi is a small teppanyaki restaurant located just off the Strip. Good for tourists and locals alike. It’s open all night as far as I can tell. We were there until about 4:30am. I’ve eaten at a couple other teppanyaki places that were better. Most places make the show about the food and cooking it. Here it’s more about the props from the local sex shop. I mean it’s Vegas and it’s after hours so I can’t speak to what kind of restaurant they run during normal hours. The staff was very prompt and friendly. The food was good but a little scarce for the price. My bill was about $25 for the chicken but my friend’s was closer to $85 for the shrimp, steak, and extras. It was a nice night out but as a local I probably won’t return. I think they could do better but then again this is Vegas and they have to play to the clientele.

Vegas blogger mentioned this place and said it was excellent and off the strip. It took us less than 10 minutes to get there from the strip. We made a reservation earlier that day. We sat at the bar because we got there early and had some incredible drinks. We had hibachi reservation and shared it with some other people. The chef had some great jokes, the food was absolutely wonderful and the service was excellent.

We had a great dinner here teppanyaki style. The chef was very entertaining. Food was delicious. We brought a Japanese exchange student with and she was impressed as well. Thumbs up.

I've been to Musashi and had my socks blown off by the quality of the food, sauces and showmanship BUT I've also gone and had a rather bland/average experience. It has never been 'bad' per se, but if my initial experience hadn't been so awesome... I'm not sure I would have gone back. Tiger is great. The man knows how to create some interesting dishes/sauces and his Teppan skills are unmatched. However.... if you get one of the other chefs, you'll probably be left wanting more. The non-teppan side of the restaurant is rather ordinary and I probably wouldn't go back if that was all that was offered. So basically I sum it up like this.... 100% worth a visit if you can ensure that Tiger will be your chef for the evening. Otherwise it's kind of a ho-hum experience.

This is a late review due to only just joining Trip Advisor. My husband and I visited this restaurant in May 2012 whilst travelling round America on our honeymoon. With a few days in Vegas we asked our concierge in the Ballagio if he could recommend a good tepenyaki restaurant. He recommended this place and said he and some of the hotel staff regularly go there. We were a little nervous when the taxi driver didn't know where it was and when we pulled up we were very put off by the run down condition inside (this was a year ago, it may have changed). It was also very quiet. We almost didn't stay. We were shown to our seats and were sat at a table to ourselves around the chefs cooking area. We ordered a drink and thought we may as well give it a go. How pleased we are we did!! Our chef came out (I wish I could remember his name) and he was excellent. He was very friendly and chatty - probably helped by being the only two at this station. His cooking skills were amazing, it was like watching a show just for us. He asked many questions about our food tastes so he could taylor the food to us. As I don't like spice, but my husband does, he made me a tray of my own sauces which were out of this world. The food was superb, one of the best meals I've ever had. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening topped off with magnificent food and service. If it hasn't done already, it could do with some TLC in terms of decoration. But don't let this put you off, it's definitely worth a visit.

Made a reservation at Musashi because it was the only one offered a Hibachi Table(the full experience) when you Google Hibachi in Las Vegas strip. We were 1.5 hours late and they still accepted our reservation at 7:30. And WOW, I think we got the Chef (I think Chef Tiger) in the Photos on FB. Never had so many sauce flavors( Spicy) on the side. The chicken Hibachi and Vegetables were the best ever ( and we eat a lot of Hibachi), they even throwed in the Shrimp to go along with the Jokes. The Chef is very funny and will keep the whole table entertained throughout the meal. Highly recommend this place.

We booked reservations for their Teppanyaki for 2. It was one of the best meals ever! I had the Musashi Special and couldn't eat it all. The Salad was fresh and nice, Miso Soup was the best I've had the broth had nice strong flavor not mild like some. The rich, seafood and steak were great, all the sauces were spot on most made from scratch right on the flat top in front of us. I would strongly recomend this restaurant and the price was reasonable.

I visited this place last night . I had the teppanyaki . Of course the prices are higher but mind you, you are also paying for a show - and you definitely get one!! We had "tiger". He was so funny and amazing and extremely talented And the food was amazing I will definitely come back now

I would highly recommend the kobe beef because these guys really know how to cook meat and I don't mind paying a lot more for it than I would in the butcher store because it's very difficult to cook it like they do. Fried rice always very tasty and the yumyum sauce is good too. The entertainment is also top noch but maybe not for everyone.

This was a wonderful restaurant. Staff very friendly. Food awesome. Our sushi chef was friendly and fun made dinner exciting as well as tasty! We will definitely return to this restaurant.

All 10+ dipping sauces are made right at the table. Most Japanese restaurants cut and discard the fat off the steaks...NOT HERE! The chef dices the fat and caramelizes with a sauce and spices. Taste better than most steakhouses steak....No Kidding!! Owner's Brother-in-law is one of the head chefs. owner's wife was there as well and very friendly people. They really appreciate you business and make you feel welcomed.

We had reservations an hour before Floyd Mayweather walked in. I guess they must have got the call from his people, because they waited to seat us to make sure they had room for all his people. He came in sat them, then they sat us. We weren't served anything till after we sat through and watched the whole money team go through their 3 or 4 courses of food. By the time they were finished eating, we were getting served soup to make up for them ignoring us. I know its all about the money and Floyd is who he is, but just communicate with your guest about what's about to go down. Tell us we will be pushed aside and served 3 hours later.

This was my second visit to Musashi. It's incredible! The atmosphere is fun. The food is outstanding! The humor is over the top! We had steak, and lobster, and scallops and everything was perfect! This is dinner and a show in one. The later you go the more adult the jokes/performance gets. I found it to be all in good fun and me and my group laughed our butts off. In addition to the jokes and the food - watching the skillful preparation is itself awesome! Be prepared for some adult humor. If adult humor offends you just let them know before your meal starts that you're not much fun and you'd like them to dial it back.

I saw this restaurant on the travel channel and decided to try it out. I am glad I did. The food is great. Steak was super tender and so was the shrimp and lobster. The chef take the time to render the fat from the meat to crispy pieces. He also took the time to crisp up my boyfriends salmon skin. The show he put on was a funny one there was a kid at our table so it didnt get raunchy, but it was still funny

This is our favorite Japanese steakhouse in the country!!! Been to loads of them all over and in many states. Musashi's chefs take the best care of you suiting you culinary desire! They have amazing food with spectacular sauces! Maybe my favorite place to eat in Las Vegas!

Always a good time for Late night teppanyaki. Their after midnight menu is perfect for eating that late, half the portion, half the price. So many choices of side sauces too. Love the knife show & with late night, you can get a little adult humor too! Our favorite is Tiger, he Rocks!

Musashi is truly my favorite Japanese steakhouse of all time. It's hidden inside a small strip mall on Paradise Road off the Strip. Upon entrance, you'll see all the famous celebrities that have been to this place. One tip, you MUST ask for Tiger as your chef. He makes the experience completely worth the price of admission. Speaking of price, it's comparable to the major chain steakhouses. Homemade sauces, a great chef and fantastic service are the reasons we always come back!!

I will say I am twisted by this review. First and foremost please call ahead for hibachi seating. We went as soon as they opened and was told no seating, and then was told they could seat us at 6, since there was only 2 of us. Needless to say that didn't happen at 6 after waiting for 35 minutes we were then advised that they can seat us at 6:30. We decided to wait at the bar. The bartender was awesome I can remember her name though. Then we were seated at 6:50. We were seated at a table right next to Tiger. He was awesome. Unfortunately our chef was lame, but being able to watch Tiger in action kind of made up for his lameness. Now even though the service was inadequate the food was awesome! To make sure you have the best experience please book in advance. That way you will avoid typing up a long story like me! Enjoy

So the food was great but the chef and other employees were absolutely inappropriate. The chef made a couple of dirty jokes and we thought he got the hint when none of us were amused BUT then he told me he would bring out a special ice cream for my 30th birthday. Before I was even finished eating my dinner they brought out a SPECIAL ice cream. They made a penis shaped ice cream with a whipped cream penis and ice cream balls. My friend was so uncomfortable she actually excused herself. You would have thought it was my bachelorette party! It was unbelievable, I wish I would have gotten a picture of it but my husband destroyed it pretty much right away. I also heard the conversation of another chef and he also was inappropriate. I got the feeling that was just the atmosphere they cater to. I know we are in Vegas but this was really the only raunchy experience I had on my vacation. Made for a unforgettable memory, that’s for sure. Don’t bring your parents or mother in law here!

Visited Vegas 8/10/15 and searched for Japanese restaurant and stumbled across Musashi. It is off the strip, but definitely worth the drive! The food was delicious! The chef made some interesting sauces for our hibachi chicken. The atmosphere was exciting! The prices were reasonable. Yung was our chef and he was AMAZING! Will definitely visit next year!

We tried Musashi after seeing it on one of the travel channels. Maybe it was just too early in the day but the atmosphere was dead and the food was slightly above average. The one thing they had working for them was the different kinds of sauces that they made right at the table. Now that was above average.

There's a reason why celebrities' and famous athletes' pictures are all over the walls! They know this is the best Japanese restaurant in Vegas….possibly anywhere. We like to think of ourselves as very experienced as far as Japanese Hibachi restaurants are concerned, and this one takes the cake! The owner, Tiger, was our chef and WOW! From the second he came to our table, the show never stopped. We counted over eight sauces made right in front of us and we were in awe because each one was spectacular. Funny thing is: the steak and shrimp were so delicious they didn't need anything on it, but you couldn't help yourself…the sauces were fantastic! I ate them straight! Tiger made my daughter's birthday dinner one she will never forget….he engages so well with the patrons at the table that we didn't want to leave. We were told about this place by Vegas locals and they were so right….the ones at our table came every week. WE WILL BE BACK!

We love Musashi and eat dinner at least once every time we visit Las Vegas. The sauces are made on the grill in front of you although I rarely use them because the flavor of the food is fantastic!

Omg is a perfect way to describe their food. Very impressed. I've had sushi all over the world. Nothing as good as this place. Please make time for this restaurant. You won't be sorry.

Chef was amazing! Food was excellent. They make a half dozen sauces or so that are all mind-blowing and delicious. I caught 4 shrimp in my mouth, in a row. Very impressive. We had a fantastic time and the service and food were great.

THE SUSHI IS UNBELIEVABLE, Japanese teppanyaki restaurants Is fun , FUNNY , I eat here at lease 3 times per months . Is family operate GREAT PLACE. FOR KIDS TO EAT ; however if you have an all adults dinner bachelor , bachelorette party ask for the X rate version TEPPANYAKI cooking . Make sure you ask for Tiger he is the owner and cook HE WILL DEMONSTRATE THE ALL ADULT VERSION COOKING . Also best place to find athletes and celebrities . this is a must stop and eat place in Las Vegas .

Just FYI this is not a family restaurant, it's great for some fun adult entertainment with friends. It's like dinner and show right at your table! We were in Vegas for my friends bachelorette just last weekend (4 girls total), we were also here 2 years ago for our birthdays and since I was the planner I wanted to top our last trip...with this restaurant choice...boy did I do just that!! I wanted something more local and off the strip and this place was more than PERFECT!!! They're also open really late until 3-4am which is great for after clubbing hunger! Our chef who was also the owner was hilarious and a great entertainer with lots of dirty jokes up his sleeve and fun humor, he asked our table if we wanted a bachelorette "X" rated time...and we all yelled yes yes yes!! (including the rest of our table who weren't in our party) and he sure did give us one!! the food was AMAZING...BEST Teppanyaki I've ever had and best value by far!!! there was so much food we couldn't finish all of it but wanted so badly to keep tasting the SENSATIONAL flavors and sauces he made. We had the scallops, steak, shrimp, and fried rice...each meal came with about 10 different sauces, soup, salad and veggies as well...we also went through a few bottles of lychee sake, delicious!! in the end we boxed all our leftovers up for after clubbing munchies. Our total bill was only $140.00 (before tip) for the 4 of us. My friend (the bride) was so impressed with my choice she couldn't stop raving about it!! I am going to tell everyone I know about this place... and I will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! Just a warning...if you're someone who doesn't like ridiculous naughty humor then I suggest you don't come here (it's Vegas for crying out loud, loosen up!)...but if you're easy going and you're out for some great food, great times, a ton of naughty fun then THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! Perfect for bachelor/bachelorette parties.

My usual teppanyaki restaurant is currently not cooking on the grill due to vent hood issues so when my brother wanted his birthday dinner at a teppanyaki place I went online to get some suggestions. I read about Musashi and most people seem to like their food so we gave it a try. The prices are fairly expensive and the food was mediocre. It took so long for the cooking of everything that by the time the vegetables were cooked no one cared or ate them. I had the Musashi special (prawns, scallops, lobster & filet $49.50). The apple ginger dressing on the salad was overwhelmingly ONION! The soup was extremely peppery. While the seafood was cooked nicely the nasty white sauce that was on it was off-putting. Since I didn't know that was how it was going to be cooked I had no chance to decline. The filet was OK - nothng special. The sauces that I've seen people rave about were not offered to us. We got the standard ginger sauce (not bad) and a mystery other sauce (nasty and bitter). The chef did make me a spicy sauce but it just OK. The fried rice was OK certainly not something i would rave about. The best part of the meal was the chef and the show he put on for us. We had kids with us so we got the "G" version (the couple next to us said that normally the show is more of an "R" rating). He was very personable and made everyone smile. Overall I find this restaurant to be mediocre and forgettable especially for the price.

Teppan Japanese cuisine is always fun. Starting with Benihana in the late 60's I have been a fan for many years. Unfortunately it does get rather repetitive and the greatest joy comes from introducing someone who has never seen the "Volcano" to these great restaurants. Then you find Musashi and owner and master chef Tiger..... HE does things and creates sauces on the grill that no one does anywhere else. A gem, a pleasure...a find

This place was amazing. It was rated the best hibachi in Vegas so we were excited to try it. The service was so good everyone was so nice and friendly. My friend told them it was my birthday and they went above and beyond. They gave me a free beer bong and dessert and even sang to me. They made it really memorable. Everyone at our table was really friendly too. I got shrimp and scallops and they were so delicious. The sauces were good and I usually don’t like hibachi vegetables but these were the best. My friend liked her steak and chicken. Definitely will come back next time we are in Las Vegas!

If you like sushi and teppan this is the place to go...Tiger puts on a great show as he masterfully creates your meal and sauces to match...I take all of my out of town guests here and recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality, well priced food served with flare.

Best tepanyaki I've ever had. Food is very flavorful and ingredients are quality. Often when I go to hibachi, I don't upgrade to the filet because it always tastes the same as the New York strip- a little tough. Not at Musashi! their filet is tender and very flavorful. their hibachi made sauces are fantastic. Go for happy hour or after midnight!! it's half price between midnight at 4am...sooo good. we had three sushi rolls for $14 total, and it was some of the best I've had (and I am fairly well traveled). I will definitely be hitting Musashi every trip I am in town!!

We had a great experience at Musashi! We had been so busy during the day exploring Las Vegas that once dinner rolled a rounded we had no idea where we would spend out Valentines night in Sin city We somehow decided we wanted Hibachi at the last moment , researched and drove to Musashi's. Upon arriving there we were of course told they were booked through to closing. However as luck would have it a couple had cancelled shortly after allowing for us to fit in. The host was quite accommodating and seemed genuinely eager to assist us from the onset. Now, to the magnificent display by the chef and the delectable dinner we we were served. We have been to many Hibachi restaurants and this one is definitely one the best we have been to. The portions and performance did not compromise the taste of the meal. Definitely will be visiting Musashi on our subsequent trips!

I've eaten here several times. I have NEVER been disappointed. Any of the chefs are great. Although I'm partial to the owner, Tiger. They make their own sauces from scratch right in front of you. They have the dirty or clean versions of dinner. I suggest the dirty... Lol. You leave full and very satisfied. Avoid the chain restaurants like Benihanas, go here. You won't regret it!

The chef and food are amazing but we had to wait 3 hours to eat, not fun. A large celebrity group took priority to our group which was an awful experience.

I first tried Misashi's 5 years ago during a couples' annual trip. A friend suggested it after seeing it advertised on the Travel Channel. We travel to Vegas 1-2 times a year, and the trip isn't complete without a visit! My husband went on a guy's trip last December, and they went twice! My favorite is the multitude of homemade sauces made right on the grill...I can't get enough of it. Tiger, the owner, is so entertaining! The food is so good, I refuse eat at any other Japanese steakhouse! Seriously....
Late Night Food that Hits the Spot
Usually when I fly into town, I don't land until almost midnight. I'm not going to hit the bright lights that late as I am tired and HUNGRY. Sushi at Musashi is very good and reasonably priced. My friends and I have made it a tradition to pick me up from the airport (they are locals and love this place too), and we hit the sushi place until 2am. It's mellow. The bathrooms are clean. The staff doesn't hover. It's my kind of spot.
