What a nice surprise to find this special place. The only reason we found it was because there was a heart design projected on the brick wall that we saw from a distance. It was a slow Monday evening close to 9:30 so, it was quiet. There are comfy u-shaped outdoor seating areas that are separated by brightly colored curtains. The inside design is really cool too!...lovely ambiance. We ordered the spinach fritters, garlic shrimp, beet salad and veggie frittata. Flavorful! The shrimp were on the small side-with big flavor. We didn't order anything from the full dinner menu so, not sure portion size on those but, for a feeling of getting away from it all..I felt like I was back in Oaxaca for the evening!..I highly recommend for a light bite and a sangria. The waiter was from Ecuador and was fund and accommodating. I am surprised there aren't more trip advisor reviews. Probably need to make reservations for the outside tables on the weekends!!

5 star service and food and 2 star price ,great

When I do go out to eat this place is always a choice. I came here last for my birthday and a great time. The tapas were delicious. Octopus, cheese, lamb. The service was great and the atmosphere delightful. When they first opened a bunch of us gals wuld go for dinner but everyone is too busy so its me and my guy. Only thing I dont like is the menu changes they had a hummus platter that was delicious no more :(. But there are still great choices

We attended a wedding in this restaurant and were very happy with the beauty if the venue, the service and the excellence of the food. Everything was delicious and the tapas portions were just the right size.

The setting is great--old factory conversion with very high ceilings, brick walls, dim lighting, and an outdoor courtyard. The drinks are good, too. As for food, the chicken and shish kebabs are great. The fish varies in quality depending on the night. As a whole, this is a great place to go with friends for an evening of drinking and eating.

An old factory transformed into a Restaurant you want to visit. I went there for a wedding, and all was done very well, the staff was courteous, and efficient. the atmosphere is great. Food was sublime, did I really use that word, OK, it was wonderful. They took the old boilers and transformed them into booths, and the ceilings are as high as you can imagine. Go as soon as possible, and add to the pleasures of life.

Lovely venue for a wedding....very good food and service for a wedding of 125 people. The cocktail hour featured delicate creative food.

Went here in May or June with a large group - Other than being a little unprepared - the white wine we selected had to be chilled - and only told about apps they were out of once we ordered them, everything was great. This is an old warehouse (Singer Sewing Machine I think) fully restored with a phenomenal result; outside seating as well, and sits in the newly re-vitalized hip Williamsburg-Greenpoint section of Bklyn. We all shared the following and loved everything:(TAPAS) Spanish ham tomaquet, Anchovy toast w/eggplant and goat cheese, guocomole, Chicken fritatas, Shishito peppers, Garlic shrimp and a flat bread that I cannot remember; also the grilled skirt steak from the main menu. Great p-lace although a little pricey.

My Moon is a Turkish owned restaurant. It's something special. Built in a building with a fascinating and rich history the, architect/designer maintained the Barrels turned into Booths, the high ceilings, the incredible metal and cooper work, the gorgeous wood and even the chairs are constructed from old wood (i think from this industrial shop). The food? FANTASTIC! a nouvelle Mediterranean Turkish flair, it was delicious and literally an explosion of sensuous flavor in my mouth. I can't wait to go back!! How lucky am I to live in the neighborhood!! Also, the waiter was lovely and the owner was friendly and enjoyed speaking with us about our honeymoon in Turkey. The outdoor seating is exquisite too. really, My Moon is one of the most special places I know of in all five boroughs of New York City.

Lovely place with high ceilings, like an old warehouse. Greeted warmly on Valentine Day and seated at a table with no tablecloths. Received a free welcome sparkling wine. It was dry but flat. Bread was focaccia and good. Ordered a beet and goat cheese salad, all of which were tasteless. Ordered the seafood paella for two which cost 33% more, $60, because it was Valentine’s Day. The paella rice was tasty, but had few tiny mussels, tiny clams, some calamari and shrimp. It was a small portion and was not soccorat. Also, service was spotty at best

What a great space for a wedding! Everything seemed to proceed smoothly and the food was delicious! Loved the small plates concept from the passed hors d’oeuvres to the dessert. All looked great and flavors were delicious! Having several rooms or spaces to mill about was great because you could join the excitement of the dancing or have conversation over dessert. Would love to try it as a restaurant now.

We love My Moon, the perfect place for our first romantic date two years ago and the place we chose for a final dinner before my dear friend returned to Asia. We have been here three times, and each visit was superb. One would not have thought that an old warehouse could have been transformed into such a romantic setting, but the soaring lines that sweep up to its high ceiling, the bold iron semi-circular booths and the soft-yet-dramatic lighting combine with other unique features to create the perfect atmosphere for an intimate conversation or a sophisticated dinner party. Additionally, the design allows diners a nice amount of privacy even while being in the midst of My Moon's theatrical space; it is rather like being ensconced in a nook of a cathedral, an industrial one at that. The wait staff are attentive, gracious, sincere and knowledgable. On our last visit, November 27, our waiter was especially welcoming and helpful. All of his suggestions were spot-on from wine to appetizers to dessert and even after-dinner drinks. While everything was excellent, the grilled squid, pumpkin soup, mushroom and raisin compote (which accompanied chicken sausages), char and chocolate soufflé were particularly mouthwatering. I don't believe one could go wrong with any of My Moon's epicurean dishes. My thoughts return to the grilled squid which is served as an appetizer; would that it were a dinner --it was the best I've ever had, tender and flavorful. Dinner portions are perfect and everything arrives at exactly the right time. The wine selection contains something for everyone. We have stuck to the reds, and the Compaignon that we had on our last visit was terrific, smooth and delicately fruity, but not sweet. The after-dinner moscato was a delightful way to toast the evening's end with fizzy subtlety. My Moon shines high above others in its class. It is a very special place that we will never forget. Be sure to seek it out in Brooklyn's Williamsburg.

We had very nice experience to My moon restaurant. Our waitress (Christal) was really attenfif to our wish. the place is really cosy and it's a real pleasure to outside like inside. The food is really good and not so expensive. I will recommand this place to everybody who want to enjoy evening with friends or even in couple.

It was a factory of some kind before its incarnation into a hip and stylish Williamsburg restaurant. I was there on one of the hottest days of the year...because the ceilings are so high, A/C did nothing. So we moved outside....not much cooler but we had a fun evening. Great for people watching. Food was unremarkable.

my wife, originally from the NYC area, and I had never been to Brooklyn before ! (well, each of us had passed thru' it previously) -- our niece invited us to her wedding which was held there this past weekend. what a blast! though not exactly sumptuous in regards space, what was there sufficed just fine. I think there were 140-some at this event, and the staff took care of us quite adequately. though we were the token "hicks from the desert" guests, I provided two valuable services every wedding must have. I happened to be at a nearly B&B where some of my wife's family was getting ready -- and I decided to accompany the father of the bride the 4 or 5 (OR ?) blocks to My Moon. he was really nervous and I tried to be a calming supportive influence ("yes, you look good!" "no, i'm not just saying that, well, yes I am but I MEAN IT!" etc.) -- and someone at a wedding has to get drunck enuff to just go up where the band is playing and jump in and try to perform with them. (they did tolerate me a couple times). my review might be considerably different if we (my wife and I and perhaps family/friends) were there as a small group for a meal. but being in the swirling semi-chaotic not-too-frenzied wedding goings-on, we had a memorable time (I remember SOME of it …) for which this establishment deserves credit for being a more-than-adequate location.

I just spent a wonderful evening at MyMoon with my wife and our parents. I will confess I am rather biased about this place. My wife and I held our wedding here in April and as we live in London, was our first chance to come back for dinner. Everything from the food, the venue, the ambience is just of the highest order. The staff are attentive and on point and the owner surprised us with some complimentary bubbly for our return. Pleasure to meet and chat to him. Just above and beyond! I save a special mention for Lee, the events director. What a sweetheart of a man he is. He was just amazing for our wedding, nothing was too much trouble and bent over backwards to make our day perfect and he succeeded. It was such a wonderful surprise to see him tonight. So glad he was able to join us for an overdue catch-up as he is such great company. Food: Tonight, we shared a selection of tapas, mains and desserts - everyone dish was of the highest quality. Three visits, three home runs. MyMoon really feels like home and we'll definitely be back for more! Can't wait to see everyone again soon. MyMoon is the perfect venue for a wedding, a large group gathering, a family meal or a romantic dinner for two. Outstanding food in a beautiful and impressive setting. If you are thinking of getting married here, do not hesitate. Unbelievable value and service. Lee is a pleasure to work with and outstanding at what he does. 5 stars does not do this man justice for the job he does and the way he does it. He is an absolute diamond. Thank you MyMoon, for the delicious food, impeccable service, the handshakes and hugs, for making us feel so at home, for the best day of my life and the memories that will never fade.

We were at My Moon for a wedding (about 100 guests) and a reception on Labor Day weekend and it was just lovely! The ceremony was in the outside courtyard on a perfect evening with the cocktail hour in the courtyard. Apps were fabulous and plentiful. We had a choice of salmon, steak or eggplant and I tasted all three! Each was delicious!! It was nice to be able to go in or out throughout the night. Such a fabulous spot! Would like to return for a regular meal.

We loved delicious mexican foods in there. And the place was very authentic and chic. You can go with your friends and also romantic dinner to go or business dinner.

Just celebrated my sons wedding there and it was a total hit. Atmosphere, food, service.... A solid "10" all around.

A small group of us were walking by in search of a refreshing beverage amidst the tall buildings on what was a stunning April's day. Along the streets, an opening appeared - the courtyard of my moon. The front menu stated that it opened at 5pm, though the clocks read 4:30. I proceed into the courtyard via the ajar gate way to ask a passing waitress if three thirsty dwellers could sit in the courtyard and enjoy a sip in the sun. Not only was the answer a yes, a barman (Max) was summoned immediately and the host guided us through the empty restaurant to the bars top seats. Max caught us with his wit, the staff welcomed us with warmth and my moon blessed us with her charm. We will return once more for dinner someday. 10/10.

I contacted 'My Moon' to host a birthday dinner party for 40 guest with 36 hours of lead time. The manager, Stephen, I spoke with soothed my concerns, changed the pre-fixe menu to suit my guest and even printed out a personalized menu. As the party time approached, i was skeptical everything would work out (I only gave them a day's notice) but it was absolutely PERFECT. Everyone had a great time and the manager on duty, Rahjid (sp?) was amazing. We were a big, boisterous bunch but he never lost his cool and answered our every need. I'm still getting compliments, a week later, on throwing a great party. Honestly, I think everyone was just so in love with the space and the service but I'll take the credit. I can't thank them enough for pulling this together last minute and making it a memorable night.

We stopped in here on a Saturday evening with no reservations and were pleased to find four empty seats at the bar. No tables were available without a reservation; which was fine as we were interested in something light for dinner. The bar was great with welcoming and friendly service. We enjoyed a glass of wine while we pondered our small plate options. We started with the cheese plate and croquettes. The cheese selection was lovely and croquettes were gone in a flash. Next we enjoyed a pitcher of red sangria with sausage and potato. The sausage was a particular hit with the two gentleman in our party; so the ladies feasted on the potato tossed with a light cheese sauce.

MyMoon holds a special place in my heart. The service is excellent and the place is simply romantic and beautiful.

We attended a wedding reception at My Moon. There where about 95 guests and I would say that is the max they could hold. Food was outstanding with many choices to pick from. Staff was friendly and helpful and the drinks just kept flowing. Dance floor is small and use of outdoor space is limited due to noise and neighbors but would recommend for a wedding or just for dinner.

I was there for a wedding. Perfect weather, so we could be inside or out. Incredibly efficient staff handled 120 people easily. The food was terrific, the desserts light and tasty. Highly recommended.

We stopped in here on a Monday eve on a whim for dinner. It was 6pm and there was only a few tables filled. We were promptly seated and asked for our beverage order. We ordered shortly after. The items were ordered were delicious; paella for 2, salmon and steak dishes all expertly cooked and presented. Owner was very hospitable and thanked us for coming. We'll be back!

We had our daughter's wedding at My Moon Friday night. I cannot say enough about Lee, the food and the wait staff. Everything was perfect. No matter what we asked, Lee replied "no problem, we can make it work." And he did! Our guests raved about the food, the ambiance, and the service. It rained up until an hour before the ceremony. They had all the outside benches and tables dried off and ready for the ceremony. Wonderful venue!! Thank you!!

This was a unique venue for a wedding. The setting is romantic with room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner individually plated then dancing.A delightful fun evening.

A bit late in posting this review but had our wedding reception for our NYC friends here and was so happy with the staff, service and atmosphere. They were so accommodating with our small group of 20 as we didn't need full service. Our food was delivered out to our specifications including the champagne toast! I know they also host larger weddings and receptions. Would highly recommend!

The venue is very unique and appealing to the senses. The food had good flavor and generous portions. The pork belly with parmesan polenta is fantastic. The price is high for the area.

Our meeting organizer booked this venue for a business dinner for 30 people. The service and food were wonderful! Wonderful place.

Another great meal here. Happy hr 4-7 weekdays outside in courtyard is a steal. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced and close to ferry.

Beautiful venue. We had dinner outside the five of us on June 24th.The atmosphere is the highlight of this restaurant, romantic outside setting. Did not take a look inside. Nice tapas, checkout the calamari, and lamb rack entree was also good. Dessert and wine were delish, ask waiting staff for suggestions. The manager came out to talk to us at the end of the night and explained more about the restaurant, nice gentleman.

Nice food selection , fun drinks, large space for groups, friendly wait staff, Great outdoor space with fire pit.

What a fantastic venue. service, and surprisingly very good food. It was amazing that they could serve 80+ guests so quickly. Everyone raved about the drinks, service, and food. And a very cool place to boot...

The best thing My Moon offers is a massive outdoor front patio that is the place to be on a beautiful afternoon and moonlit evening. Very well appointed, you can sit on various levels and have an okay upscale Mediterranean style meal. I have never been impressed with the food here but have loved sitting under the sky, drinking wine with friends. The atmosphere has contributed to some fabulous evenings with friends. The inside area is also attractive and is on a massive big investment scale that is the trend in Williamsburg and My Moon was first. The wait staff has been okay but if it were not for the setting and nice interior of the bar area this place is just trying too hard, commercial and a little pricey for me to want to be a regular. Could be a good first date kind of place.

Dined here late in the summer and sat outside. It was the perfect night to do so. Although, the interior is beautifully decorated as well. The food was good, the service was a little awkward and not very personable. The menu offered a nice, varied selection. We shared the braised lamb and octopus dish - I really like the octopus. It was tender and season well, but the presentation needed some help. The lamb was also very good, braised nicely and its accompaniments enhanced the dish. Again, the vibe was a little awkward - maybe have some music playing outside?

This place is very stylish and and it is also being used as a galery. It has a great outdoor space for long summer nights. Check out the belly dance nights in winter. It's lots of fun. The food is very good.

As we've just passed the one year anniversary of our wedding, I figured it was time to put up a well-deserved, long overdue review of MyMoon. This is an amazing venue, with the staff to match. We were looking for a beautiful, non-traditional setting with terrific food and service, and a team that understands the wedding business. After months of searching, we walked into MyMoon and immediately knew that we had found our place. It is absolutely stunning, with first class food and service, and a top-tier bar (especially if you happen to be a scotch drinker). They also have handled so many weddings (it's nearly impossible to go there for dinner on a Saturday or Sunday during wedding season), that their approach is almost flawless. Over the months leading up to the day, we worked with Ruggero to plan all of the minute details. He was so knowledgable, professional and friendly (as were the bartenders and wait staff) that we found ourselves coming in between planning sessions just to say hello and have a drink or dinner. On our wedding day, everything was executed superbly. We can't imagine having picked a better venue. Being in such a special environment, and knowing that everything will just work, is invaluable. Thank you Ruggero and MyMoon for helping create such wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime.

Great space with great mideastern/Moroccan/mederterranian cuisine

The location, indoor/outdoor spaces were wonderful. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding! Lee and rest of staff were amazing. Highly recommend for any occasion from a couple’s date to big celebration.

This spot is a great place to unwind after an busy day at the office or after a day of leisured he tapas are terrific, the space open and friendly and the ambiance is very romantic and has an upscale feel to it. Everything was terrific from the welcome at the front door , to the food , the decor and the service. The food was to die for and the service was superb. Great wine list, amazing cocktails, very clean bathrooms and dinning area and what an amazing outdoor space. I cant say enough good things about this place, you must go whether it be with family, friends or for a romantic evening....go, youll love it.

The place is designed in such a way that combines big space with cosy atmosphere. The food is very good and the menu correlates with the design - big selection of food that allows to make up your own line of tastes. We had a great evening and enjoyed the service very much - we happily recommend my moon as one of our top 5 restaurants for the non-restaurant critic type of people. Enjoy

Ambiance is very nice. Staff was very courteous and attentive. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Food was awesome. The chorizo tapas was delicious. I had the sea bass which was cooked to the right temperature. I would definitely come back here. About a 20-minute subway ride from the grand central terminal, so not bad of a commute.

The restaurant is a little dark and some dishes were great, but some were a little bit off track. Probably much nicer in summer with outside patio.

This restaurant is breathtaking. I'm not certain if I would even call it a restaurant as it's so much more. We went for our tapas style meal around 9pm on Christmas Eve and it exceeded our expectations. The beet salad was so fresh and the dressing was delicious we both wanted to lick the plate (but we didn't). Brussels sprouts with cheese were perfectly done as was the octopus (a must if you love seafood). My martini was excellent and very creative. If you find yourself in Williamsburg this place is a must visit. Preferably with many people so you can try everything on the menu!!

I have eaten at My Moon twice and both times it was a great experience. The food is great, the service is great, and the outdoor seating area is excellent when it is warm out. The inside of the restaurant, as well as the outdoor seating areas are beautiful and decorated nicely. There are murals near the restaurant that are always very interesting, making My Moon a great staple of Williamsburg Brooklyn!

We went on recommandation. Excellent. Good food and association. Don't miss the chease plate :).

John and I were married here July, 17th, 2024. We have been together 11 years and were looking for the perfect venue for 50 people and children. We stumbled across My Moon in Williamsburg, and fell in love with its rustic and charming authenticity and serenity. We met with Lee Chappell an amazing and patient coordinator. He helped us plan everything from the walk in to the tasting to the final walk through. This place is a hidden gem. The food and drinks are excellent and we will definitely go back there again.

My son-in-law arranged for us to have dinner at My Moon for Mother's Day. From the moment we arrived, everyone was confused; because the "boss" was not there. Our waiter was clueless, we never received menu's and were asked "were we ready to order?". No drinks were offered to us, when we asked for menu's we waited a while to receive them. He offered no specials to us and was totally clueless about the items we were ordering on the menu. Our young grandchildren were with us and my daughter asked to please have the children's dinner brought out as soon as possible. We waited over an hour to get any food and it was not great. Our waiter never returned to our table to give us our check, my son in law had to chase down another waiter so that we could pay. We were not the only people who received this awful service; the table across from us left and the looks on other guests was not pleasant. We have dined here before and had wonderful service, delicious food and drinks and were just so surprised at how disorganized the entire staff was. It was a total disappointment and we will not recommend to anyone else or ever return. On special occasion's maybe a bit more attention to details and having a staff knowledgeable should be considered.

Nice place with a beautiful external area. You can book days before and make your event there, excellent for small groups, such a happy hour for companies and special celebration dinners. They can customize a open menu for your group. If you are not a group, still a nice place to have a couple of wine and and enjoy the end of the day. Good food and excellent drinks.

Beautiful space, great for drinks and tapas. Entrees were decent tapas much better choice. Paella off a bit.

Lots of fun, nice ambience and the food is pretty authentic. Service can be grand or horrible, so watch out for that and let management know right away. Nice bar and the outdoor space is fantastic.

Went here during the summer as it is one of the few places in Brooklyn that offers great outdoor seating so you can sip your cocktail and enjoy the warm weather! All of the tapas we ordered were delicious, the drinks are very good and the scene is nice as well. I like that the crowed is a bit more posh and dressed up because frankly if you're going on to a nice place during the weekend you should ditch sneakers and such and put a little effort into your appearance. Nice for a nice evening for two or friends' get together!

We came here as wedding guests and, overall, the entire experience was fantastic. The venue is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor (covered and open) spaces. The staff was friendly, the food and mixed drinks were very good and the space was very accommodating. My only complaint was that I ordered a $45 pour of Scotch, neat. The bartender promptly poured it over ice, shook it, and poured it... essentially ruining one of my favorite drinks. That's not neat - that's straight up. I expect bars with whiskey selections like this to train their bartenders better. I let that one go, but was a little blunt with them the next time I ordered a dram.
Worst turkish food ever....BUT, amazing cocktails and gorgeous space, with that converted factory look, brick walls...
Worst turkish food ever....BUT, amazing cocktails and gorgeous space, with that converted factory look, brick walls vaulted ceilings. huge outside area with middle eastern vibes. I would come here for a drink before a big night out. There is no such thing has hummus without a pita. The bread is huge and gross.
