Quick lunch

By Debbi N |

Needed a casual, quick lunch. Went in and immediately was greeted and brought to a table. Hadn’t even looked at a menu. I ordered a French Dip with a salad, and my husband got the Chicken Parm sub. The salad dressing was delicious, the salad was fresh, the Dip was fresh & delicious, from the bread to the meat. And the waiter, Meli, was friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. Will definitely be back!!

Best Pizza

By PSalzillo |

We usually order pizza to go and have never been disappointed. We strongly recommend Franco's pizza, it has prosciutto and arugula, simply delicious! The margarita pizza with ricotta is a favorite too. We have been getting our pizzas here for years, since our kids were little, now they are in college and every time they are in town they want Naples Pizza.

Overpriced for PIZZA

By Missy E |

Our family has long been a fan of Naples Pizza (before it moved too), but ordering two pizzas, and four salads, two glasses of wine, waters, and having it end up over $100 seems too much. There are plenty of other pizza places that we'll go to now before this!

Excellent Italian needs customers

By DaveG873 |

We had dinner at Naples Italian Rest and Pizza inSan Antonio. It was not very crowded and those missing lost out on excellent dinner and service. Our waiter was very friendly and came around right when needed. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana which was large and tasty. She was full and had to bring the Sid spaghetti home for lunch. My son and I had lasagna which was excellent. Full of sausage and fine sauce. Grandson had personal pizza he enjoyed. Hidden gem could use larger crowd.

Great pizza

By Ellen L |

We really enjoyed the pizza. The crust is thinner which we prefer. We were going to order two small pizza's but our waiter pointed out a large that was half and half would be less expensive. We also enjoyed the pear salad. Service was very good. We will definitely be back.

The Devil is in the Details

By bobemac |

This is a pleasant looking new restaurant in a nice location off NW Military Hwy. The servers were all friendly and above average in helpfulness. Their house Italian bread is so addictive that you've got to resist. The fettuccini Alfredo was rich and tasty like expected. The chicken was MIA in that there was not as much as there should have been. The Spaghetti and Meatball was a mixed bag. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce was tasty but watery, and the meatball tasted like it came from Sysco Foods, not homemade and missing the typical spices, onions, and parsley etc. The pizza looked good and that we have to be another day.

Good pizza but expensive and slow

By Jeff C |

I've eaten at Naples three times now and have had the same experience every time. The food is very good, especially the pizza. The servers are pleasant and accommodating but very slow. It always seems that they are one or two servers short of a full staff. My primary reason for three stars instead of four is the price (see receipt in photo). My wife and I each a glass of house wine, she had a Greek salad and we split a large pizza and the bill was $50.72 before tip. That's about $10 to $15 more than I would expect for a small neighborhood pizza parlor. The house wine is $8 a glass compared to $6 for most comparable restaurants. I really want to like Naples. It has potential as a great neighborhood pizzeria but it's hard to justify spending $60 (with 20% tip) on pizza for two.

Good food and service

It is located at corner of NW Military and Huebner. The waiter said it moved in the last couple of years. We shared a wedge salad which was fresh and very large. We had the Franco’s shrimp could have used a little more sauce but very tasty. The gorgonzola pasta was very good as well. The house merlot was perfect. We will be back to try the pear and pecan salad and pizza. The neighboring table recommended the pear and pecan salad. The portions are large enough to share. This is a family owned restaurant which I enjoy supporting.

Wow!! Better than you Nona’s!! I YKYK

By Thomas D |

Ok. Here me out. This place is family run. The owners are n the kitchen, on the floor and making sure that every meal is top notch. I had the Chicken Marsala. The wife had the Gorgonzola Penne. Our friends enjoyed the Penne Rustica. When I tell you that this was the best Italian meal I’ve ever had, I’m telling you… This is the best Italian meal I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten in New York, Boston, Detroit… All of the Italian hubs of the United States. This place competes with any of them… It is truly a hidden gem.

Everything is great at Naples

Vacation dinner

By Sarah S |

Had dinner here while on a quick weekend vacation with kids. Great food and great service. Had pizza and spaghetti and both were great. The cannoli was tasty also.

Saturday Night Out

By Alanhimmelstein |

Went to Naples with 4 other couples for dinner. We shared a large Caesar salad and a medium barbecue pizza. The pizza was quite good and the salad, while standard was also good. Will go back again.

going strong after 6 years..

By richardintx |

I neglected reviewing Naples, but will fix that now. When I first moved to the area, I stopped in for the lunch special, but have now been back close to 100 times. Generally, I'll call ahead, but have eating in too... both with good results.. Usually, my family wants the large cheese pizza and Chicken ceasar salad. It never fails to please and it ready when they say. What more do you want ?

Deliciousness

By Jordan R |

This is definitely our favorite pizza in all of San Antonio. Our friend really said it best when we took her here for her first visit "this is magic pizza." We have been coming here for years and will keep coming because the food here is always consistently delectable. The sauce balances perfectly with the crispyness of the crust and the gooeyness of the cheese. All of their ingredients are fresh and pizzas are made to order. The house dressing on their salads is pretty darn good too. It is true this place is a bit pricey for pizza, but you're getting the best quality pizza and it is definitely worth it. We live about 30 minutes away but never mind making the drive.

Hidden jewel

By MCM |

It is a Restaurant that deserves been recognized. Bets pizza in the zone, and absolutely the bes Lassagna in San Antonio. The place is very simple, informal, but the chef, his staff, and waiters are the best. Great option for take outs. Call in advance, and they have it all ready dor You. A shame is so hidden.

Sat Lunch

By MattSWine |

4th of July Sat so we wanted something a lil lighter because we were going to be eating burgers off the grille for diner. Hadnt been here before but figured we'd grab some salads and bruschetta. Holy Moly! The Pear & Pecan Salad was AMAZING! It had a lump of goat cheese with fried breading on the outside - incredible. And the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful! Similarly, the bruschetta was superb, with simple and very flavorful ingredients. One of our sons had a kid's meal cheese pizza, and it was also very impressive. Service was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Consistently good

By cak1102 |

Very good food, although the meatballs are a little mushy. Pizza is a star in my family. Homemade bread is excellent. The Sunday brunch is outstanding...quiet, civilized environment and very friendly, helpful servers. We go here often.

Excellent Lunch Choice!

By Shari M |

I eat at Naples every week because I work close by. Consistently fantastic food and excellent service by the professional waitstaff keep me coming back. The eggplant parmigiana is a must try! Each time I go, it is hard to decide what to get because it is all so good! Their complimentary bread is the best!

Best pizza in town

By Debra C |

We went to San Antonio because I needed surgery that I couldn't get in Yuma. During my post operative treatments I asked the therapist where the best restaurants were as she has lived there all her life. She was absolutely right about Naples Pizza. We have had pizza all over the world and even make our own from scratch, and I can say this place is one of the best. We went back several times and it was always great. We never tried any of the other dishes so I can't comment on them. My therapist didn't know that they had moved back to their original location since she hadn't dined there for some time, but they are now back where they started from and are planning to expand next door. At the time they didn't have their liquor license so we brought our own wine. We will be returning in April, I hope they have reasonable prices for their wine by then. If not we will not return no matter how good their pizza is. I will not pay $40 dollars for a bottle of wine with a pizza.

Casual, Fancy, Any Occasion!!

By livluvmza |

Naples was actually place I just stumbled on. We needed a nice but casual dinner for week night. This place is amazing! After looking at the menu for the first time I already had a meal picked our for at least the next three times I came back! Gluten Free is what really makes it a win for us. Canolis are great here and prices are just fine. Pleasant and highly recommended!

Great pizza at an affordable price

By Richard H |

My friend and I ventured to this place to sample their pizza and were not disappointed. The crust was flavorful and crispy. It reminded me of pizza that you can find in the New York/ New Jersey area. We had a large meatball and mushroom pizza that was excellent. Lots of seating and parking is available. A great meal at an affordable price.

I haad another burned pizza from Naples. Did a dine in for a vegetarian pizza and the crust was so burned. I had ordered a take-out a few months ago and received a burned pizza. I had to drive back for a new pizza and there was no compensation. If you go in at 2:30 pm you are given dinner prices.

Great thin crust pizza with lots of cheese

By Laurie A |

I enjoy thin crust pizza and Naples nails it. There is always plenty of cheese. You can customize the pizza with many ingredients. Easy to place an order for takeout.

Oldie but Goodie Back @ Original Location

By BigHenry911 |

Naples Italian Ristorante & Pizza 14602 Huebner Rd #126, San Antonio, TX 78230 @ (210) 479-2670 So this place was here for about 20 years, then moved for a short period to try greener pastures and whole... Realized it was time to come back home. It has been back over three years now. We were in the mood for pizza and remembered it had been several years since eating at some of our favorite pizza joints. We were the only customers around 2 PM, but not because their pizza wasn't good... Onto the food: Calamari (7.5) These were not overly crispy... Not bad, but have tasted better... Sushiana's Japanese, Papasito's Mexican, and Stone Werks are just a few of the best around. Wings (7.5): My family loved them... I thought they were okay... I mean, who can really rival Plaza Pizza and Wings in Schertz. My daughter ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Panini (7): She loved it. I thought it was okay. Really juicy due to the tomatoes, but did have a good taste. Panini was crispy just right. My wife ate Meatballs (8.5) (appetizer): She was all over these puppies... I was almost jealous... Lol! My younger daughter and I shared Medium (more like a large) Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza (9): Man this baby was guuuud!!!! It was runny, cheesy, hot, and tasty... The crust was crispy with every bite. Bottom line, I'm coming back!!!! Soda (9): Rootbeer without Ice was very good. The service with Gregory was great... He did charge me a higher rate after 3 PM on the appetizers, but nothing he could not correct. I truly like this place and we will be back. Another place worth trying which is a hop, skip, and a jump from here is Trilogy Pizza. Very satisfied, "Big" Henry #BigHenrysReviews
