Good breakfast

By Mark S |

Be prepared to wait. Great selection of breakfast. Interesting omelets. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable.

Great Breakfast

By Pherder503 |

Excellent breakfast, great place to go with the family. The service was great. The Guadalajara skillet was all I could eat.

Nat's has always been our "go to" place with family

By Jeannie T |

We have been going to Nat's ever since Nat and Jean owned it. Ever since our 3 boys were little and we would go after soccer games. Nat never knew a stranger. We have continued this tradition every time the kids come to town from Canada and Tahoe. We love the success Victor is having but we also wish we were the only ones who knew about it (hence no wait Hee hee)

We eat breakfast here every time we're in SoCal. Great food and excellent service as well as large menu.

Best basic diner breakfast in the valley.

By rickpoet |

My wife and I are brunch addicts and as a result we are constantly on the lookout for the best spots to satisfy our weekend morning cravings...Nat's is one we've been going to for years which we will always return to. There are plenty of more "specialty" brunch places in the Valley (such as Hugo's Restaurant, Studio City - http://www.HugosRestaurant.com which is excellent.) But if you want the basic diner experience, in it's absolutely best form, there's no better place to go than Nat's. It's always busy on the weekends so expect to wait...but the wait is made extra-tolerable by the retro toy-store next store that is super-fun to wander around in. They'll even call your name in the toy store if your turn comes up in the restaurant which is a nice and thoughtful detail. Let's start with the coffee, as that's how the meal usually begins...it's not specialty coffee, organic or otherwise...it's basic diner coffee...but it's really good...strong enough to make you feel like you're really drinking coffee, unlike the offerings at many other diners which often come across as "browned water." Get the coffee. The breakfast menu is extensive with every variation of egg, omelette, pancake and waffle you could want. Most breakfasts come with your choice of bread which can include one of their superior home-made muffins. Our favorite is the Morning Glory which is basically a carrot muffin, Sometimes we go to Nat's just out of a craving for a Morning Glory muffin. A couple of times they've run out which was initially disappointing until another muffin choice was brought and turned out to be excellent as well. Homemade muffins. I repeat, homemade muffins. The omelettes are done right and more importantly the hash browns are done right...always cooked through and appropriately crispy on the outside. Frequently at other places the hash-browns are crispy on the outside and underdone on the inside giving you that "from freezer to plate" experience...not hear...Hash-browns always perfect. Whereas this isn't by any stretch of the imagination a vegetarian restaurant, it certainly (as does any place for breakfast) have plenty of options including a veggie chorizo which is an exotic occasional vegetarian breakfast alternative. They have a full lunch menu as well. Nat's is definitely the best basic diner around...well worth bringing friends, family, visitors for a great brunch experience...and to add to your repertoire of regular spots to satisfy your own cravings. They're not open for dinner...so check website for hours before you stop by,

Soooo good

By Sean C |

Was swinging through San Fernando Valley on a brief, 2-day visit to an old friend last week. He took some time away from work so we could have a farewell breakfast before I got on the road and brought me to Nat's. Menu offers solid stand-bys as well as more imaginative offerings. And you can choose grits as a side! Or excellent refried beans (as I had). Also you can choose toast or one of their fine baked-on-premises good. I went for a carrot cake muffin (no frosting, FYI). It was great. 10 am breakfast crowd was a melting pot of old folks, valley Hollywood types and families Big thumbs up for Nats. Good stuff. Closes at 3 pm.

A diner the way, they are meant to be.

A diamond in the rough, on the corner where Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys meet. This place is the perfect marriage of comfy old school breakfast, with yummy reliably good food. Don't miss their home-baked bake goods, the honey-nut muffin is delicious and the turkey chili omelette. The secrets out though, so expect lines on the weekend, but go early and bop around the cool toy store next door. It's like a field trip and a satisfying eating experience all in one. It's totally worth the wait. Limited parking, still worth it. Recommend parking on Hazeltine or Burbank and walking over. The portions are generous and the food is cooked with care. The gentleman that owns the place used to be the busboy, many years ago, how cool is that! And most of the waiters have been there for years. In short, it's the total package if you want to just eat some decent food.

Excellent Breakfast!

I had the green omelet with broccoli, asparagus, spinach and avacado, my favorite. friends had eggs cooked to order. the muffins are warm and a tasty treat instead of toast. service was on top of it. No one had a low cup of coffee. parking can be tough at times.

Lox Benedict

By Les L |

Visiting my daughter from out of town and she said she heard good things about this place. She heard right. It is a small diner atmosphere that is comfortable and homey. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. We did eat on a Monday around 10 so there wasn’t a wait to be seated. We both split the Lox Benedict and a bowl of cheese grits. The eggs were done perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and not to rich. It was a wonderful breakfast and the waitress was attentive and sweet. Definitely recommend.

Great food and service

By mdklein41 |

Nat's is always busy. WHY?? Because they do a great job. The menu is vast and they will adjust the meal to suit your taste. The waiters and waitresses are wonderful. This is one of the only places where you can get fried matzo. They will make it like you like it. Just ask.

Outstanding Breakfast

By photog_gypsy |

We are visited the L A area for 7 days eating all our meals out. Our son who lives local suggested Nat’s for breakfast. It was our favorite breakfast on this trip. Parking lot is small and we had about a 25 minute wait but totally worth the effort. Once seated- fast friendly service. Our omelettes were cooked to perfection. The muffins served with our omelettes were outstanding. I look forward to my next visit to L A to visit my son and to go to Nat’s to eat a lemon blueberry muffin.

Not a sleepy diner

By Stacy M |

Tasty food and great service. Very generous portions. A steady buzz of eclectic people. Even the vegan amongst us was satisfied with with her meal.

Family friendly diner

By Priscylia W |

I was at Nat’s with a group of friends, including 2 children below 5 years old. We really appreciated the great selection of breakfast and friendly staff at Nat’s. The best part was, without a doubt, the muffins which are freshly baked on site with a wide range of flavors to suit every taste bud. We also liked that the food was not overly salty / sweet. The only thing which could have made the breakfast even better was a hot cappuccino / cafe latte (Nat’s only had coffee which came with free refills).

BEST BREAKFAST IN THE VALLEY

Great breakfast. Great service.

By lakotalisa |

I have lived around the corner from Nat's for most of my life and I had been there once around 16 years ago and was not that impressed. I decided to give ti another try and am glad I did. I have been going there now for the past year and have never been disappointed. I love the Chilaquiles (red sauce). Every morning I wake up and think of those eggs mixed with lots of melted cheese and that red sauce. Too bad I cannot put their homemade jam on them. But I can add some homemade chili sauce. The prices are not Dennys but not that bad. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of people order the Eggs Benedict and Nat's is famous for their huge omelets stuffed with the sausage of your choice. The only really bad thing is the parking. We also have been there for lunch and had the turkey and meatloaf. Personally I would stick with the breakfast. A Valley institution, Nat's is still going strong. Well worth it.

Excellent family diner

By MelvinPusfinger |

We had lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon. This place is open for breakfast and lunch. It closes at 2 PM. This is everything you would expect from a small family owned and run diner. No frills, but everybody was very friendly and the service was professional. We would recommend the vegetarian omelette which comes with anEnglish muffin. Also the tuna melt with fries. For kids, they have chicken strips and fries. Very good value at $7.50. A bowl of fruit for kids will set you back $3.75. We found the prices very reasonable. And the food was tasty. The restaurant/diner is in a small open air mall. Free parking outside. All in all are very good dining experience. We would definitely return.

Family Run Diner Delights

By BraGenie |

We tried this Diner style eatery at my son's suggestion, and it didn't disappoint! Fresh baked goods, along with perfectly cooked eggs and sides made our brunch fantastic. Great food and homey atmosphere.

Delicious Breakfast

By Ani K |

We had a terrific breakfast here this morning. Loved my California Benedict, with tomato and avocado. Fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffee. Worth finding street parking and the wait.

Clean, Friendly Service

By petite0ne |

Visiting from the east coast we did not expect to find the excellent breakfast diner experience we had at Nat's. The service is fast and friendly and the food is deliously prepared. We look forward to dining again at Nat's on our next visit.

You can tell by the crowds

By Robert L |

The good news is that breakfast a Nat's Early Bite is always great. The bad news is that it's hard to get a seat without waiting. Every time I've been to Nat's, there has been a wait. Sometimes as long as 30 minutes. However, when you do get seated, it's well worth the wait. My favorite by far is the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. If that isn't to your taste, there's plenty of other delicious goodies to choose from. It's not high-end, but you can't beat the food.

Great neighborhood breakfast spot!

By movietitle |

Love having breakfast here! Good food, good prices, good service and it's kind of fun place to be on a busy Saturday morning! Lots to choose from on the menu and they never disappoint. You may have to wait for a table, but good place to people watch until they call your name! Nothing out of the ordinary in the way that the prepare or or present your food. It's just good quality food done very well at resonable prices.

Best Old School Breakfast in LA

By Brian M |

Great story of how the owner started the place and sold to a loyal worker. The food is VERY NICE portions plus very good breakfast all day. Pancake 👍 Crunchy French Toast 👍 Muffins 👍 Eggs👍 Biscuits and Gravy 👍👍 You will not regret eating breakfast here. Parking is TIGHT. In a small strip mall AND don’t let that scare you. Usually a wait - 20 minutes or so. Old school booths. TVs around. Can get bakery items to go. Order to go. DO IT!!

Best breakfast ever

By Krautly |

First time in CA. Found Nat's on trip advisor. Had good rating so we crossed our fingers and gave it a try. What a pleasant surprise! Rene gave us fabulous service with a smile. Great prices, great food, don't miss it!

Great Local Place Very Busy !

By fact51 |

Great Sunday breakfast after nearby super car Sunday . Everything local and from scratch . Great muffins . Waitresses fun and happy ! Would go back again in a heartbeat . You can tell it's a very popular place . There's a reason for that .

Great place for quick lunch

By pjkiss |

Was looking for a place close to the hotel for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed when we found Nat's. We had the roast beef and turkey sour dough melt sandwiches and they were both great!

Delicious

By janetr996 |

My nephews and I needed a quick bite so we decided to go to this restaurant. They told us the wait would be 25 minutes, but instead it was only 10 minutes. Each of the four of us had a breakfast. My Spanish omelette was the best I’ve ever had and everyone seemed to be taking a taste or two of my side of beans. Everyone’s meal was hot and served to order. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The prices were fair and the portion sizes were large. We will definitely be back to eat at Nat’s and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Good neighborhood breakfast spot

By cgirod |

I have seen this place for years and never stopped in. A friend recommended it, so I met her there for a late breakfast. I got the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. It also came with hash browns. The food arrived quickly and was good, just what I was hoping for. It wasn't too greasy, and they split the biscuits and put them on the grill, exactly how I would do it at home. The service was good. This is not the place to go for ambience, but it's a good place to go for breakfast. I'll go back again. Also, there is a store next door that sells all kinds of cool old toys. The only thing I didn't like was the parking. It's in a small strip mall with a small parking lot. I parked a block over, but the parking there was limited to one hour and I was fearful of the Los Angeles parking patrol nailing me with a ticket. It didn't happen this time, but be warned. There is a bus line that goes down Burbank Blvd that has stops a couple blocks away in each direction. If I hadn't had other errands to do, I would have taken the subway to North Hollywood, then taken the bus. Next time :-)

The better diner in Woodhills

By Mary Kay S |

Great atmosphere, friendly service. The food was made with care and had a lot of taste. We had eaten at a nearby diner a few days before and were greatly disappointed. But Nat's was exactly what you want in a diner for breakfast. I had "Vic's Benedict which was poached (correctly) eggs with hollandaise over spinach tomatoes and their homemade spicy turkey sausage. The potatoes on the side were nicely grilled and tasty. Coffee was great (it had better be right?) and the price was average and acceptable.

Great concept, well-executed, with delicious food at a fair price.

By Sara W |

This local dive is full of pleasant surprises. The menu offers something for everyone, the service is top notch, the price is fair, and most of all, the food is DELICIOUS. They serve a full breakfast menu all day, which includes American and Mexican favorites. Maybe you'd prefer a freshly baked muffin and giant glass of milk? Or homemade deli meat piled high on toasted bread? They even offer a "fitness menu" and you can order steamed veggies and fish. Go now! (note: this place is about the food, and very authentic. If you're looking for glamorous ambiance, look further.)

Great way to start the day!

By Vivienne H |

While visiting in Sherman Oaks we came across Nat's. Though not a fancy space, the food and service are fantastic. We usually try a different place daily while on vacation, but found ourselves returning here day after day. Our selections are too numerous to list, but everything we had was wonderful. The homemade jams are fantastic. There are many Mexican specialties. The one thing that needs a bit of improvement are the muffins. They seemed a bit dry but still tasteful. Really reasonably priced. Would be a regular if we lived in the area. They have a small parking lot which is often full, but there seems to be adequate street parking in the neighborhood.

1st time

By Kevin H |

This was my 1st time here today. I saw a few pictures of the food and wanted to give it a try. I order the chicken fried stake and eggs. Was not very impressed, everything was tossed on the plate and made it look and taste terrible, I will give this place another try, maybe the 2nd time around will be better. Service was good and friendly.

Good value, friendly service

By Jodi |

Since we found Nat's Early Bite, we've come back at least twice in the last two months. They have a decently sized menu of classic american and mexican favorites as well as a few jewish dishes and house baked muffins. The service is always friendly and timely. So far we've tried the biscuits and gravy, Chilaquiles (meh), iced coffee, burger, omelette, French dip. The food isn't amazing, but it's a solid option and we will go back again.

Great family dining

By Freddrexel |

A place for great food and friendship. Based on 25 years dining. Great ham, steak and pork chops. Run by a worm friendly family. Have the Tiger Woods Iced Tea.

Yummy Muffins!

By Suzi H |

Great place for breakfast, large menu, good service and good food. They offer a large selection of fresh made on the premises muffins... I love the Raisin Bran muffin, my hubby's fav is the Blueberry!

Awesome hidden place

By Alycia602 |

First time here, I had a scramble with mushroom, spinach and sausage and my boyfriend had the ribeye and eggs. They were quick and food was very good. The table salsa replaced my usual use of Cholula. Pancakes were a good size. Portions are very good. I definitely recommend for anyone including families. Service was outstanding by our waitress, Veronica. We plan to come back and try other menu items.

Walking Back in Time

By Frank P |

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Food is hot, well prepared and quality ingredients. Your water or coffee cup never gets empty. Good service. Small parking lot for many business but in neighborhood parking available. Busy place, looks small when you enter but there is a second room you may not notice at first. Solid place.

Breakfast Gem.

By WeWorkWeTravel |

This place it's the jam. Non commercial, no frills, all business. Which is awesome. The service was kind and friendly and the food was fantastic. If your in the area don't pass this place up. Eat local, it's worth it.

Great Breakfast in my Backyard!

By LA_Travelers_1 |

So I moved to the Valley about 2 years ago and have yet to find some good, solid restaurants close to home. I figured I use Tripadvisor when I go on the road - why not at home? So I went searching for highly rated restaurants nearby and found Nat's which is just down the road. I went to their website and saw an extensive menu. So my husband and I decided to go this past Saturday morning. Nat's is a great diner with warm, friendly and attentive service. We had about a 5-10 minute wait before getting our table. We sat at this table just to the left of the door. It can be a passthrough area for people going up to the counter for takeout. So Nat's has a little sign on a string they put it that says - "please go around." It was a cute and novel way to solve this issue of people always going by you. When I asked the host (Victor) if he could put it up for us - he smiled and jokingly said that there would be an extra charge as we had the cordoned off VIP seating with the window view. The waitress and busboys were efficient and always around in case you needed anything. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs with a strawberry cream cheese muffin. They have a large selection of muffins and they are all homemade. Victor even offered us an extra muffin (the morning glory) that is their most popular which is a carrot muffin because we were first timers. My husband ordered bacon, eggs and pancakes. The food was delicious and plentiful. The muffins are very good and I would definitely get it again. I was very happy with my meal at Nat's and am thrilled to have found a great breakfast restaurant to add to my rotation. Nat's also serves lunch as well. I told Victor that I had seen the good tripadvisor reviews and he was not aware of it. So I pulled up Tripadvisor on my ipad and showed him. He had the warmest smile come on his face and I could sense his pride. Thanks tripadvisor reviewers for helping me find a great breakfast in my backyard!

This is an excellent pick, get here early, limited parking, but the food was very good. Service was fast and atmosphere was great on Cinco de Mayo.

Good food and lots of it

By BearTravels33 |

Went to Nat's based on reviews on this site and was not disappointed. As noted, parking is a challenge but we found a spot on a side street. Typical coffee shop decor but you are there for the food! My mom loves pancakes and Nat's rates pretty high with her - fluffy and good tasting. I had the chorizo scramble and took half of it back to the hotel. Even though they are busy, the wait time is minimal. Their muffins are delicious!

Good old fashioned, (Jewish) style breakfast/lunch eatery. Worth the wait.

By Fred G |

An old style, family run diner reminiscent of the Jewish deli's of our parents' generation. Not a fancy place, but comfy. With really, really good food. Not designer food, just good food. Eggs, french toast, waffles, home baked pastries. Crowded, yet always very good service, constant refills. Like they appreciate every single customer! They are only open for breakfast and lunch, and close around 3-ish. Have not tried their lunch fare yet, but their breakfasts are as good as it gets. Very reasonable pricing. You can wait up to an hour or two, even on weekdays -- but once you get seated, you will understand why folks come from all over to eat here.

A homey nook where one can find breakfast favorites made from scratch. Great-tasting turkey alternatives for those who don't eat the usual breakfast meats, i.e. pork sausages, hash, bacon.

One more chance...

By Dana W |

Three visits so far, two were great but one was a big disappointment. If there's a 20 min or more wait to be seated, come back another time. Trust me, your food and service quality will suffer.

Local 'in' spot for breakfast

By Inkedsiamese |

We dined here for breakfast in March '15 and were not disappointed. This is definitely not a chain restaurant. Located in a small nondescript strip mall where the locals eat. Busy but with a fast turnover, so don't expect to be seated the minute you walk in. It is well worth the short wait. Great service and food at a great price. We'll eat here again.

THE consistent winner in the Breakfast Derby!!

By Jivan17 |

Located in a nondescript little grouping of stores like you see all over The Valley, Nat's Early Bite is not a particularly beautiful venue, Some people might even be put off by the 'unimproved' quality of the place- Don't let looks deceive, that's all I'll say on that. The whiteboard lists a stunning assortment of combinations - all generously portioned and all righteously delicious - this is diner food at it's finest! Although they list other items on the menu, Nat's is all about breakfast; and because it's LA, breakfast could easily be @ 4pm; but if you want delectable blueberry pancakes at 4pm, Nat's can hook you up! The many kinds of muffins, biscuits, tortillas, are all made in-house. There are probably a dozen variations of egg dishes, and don't forget to ask for the 'hecho a mano' salsa, like your Mexican abuela used to make- Although I claim no expertise in matters of coffee, allow me to say that Nat's has some of the tastiest I have ever had the pleasure of drinking.....and in one of those old school, heavy-as-a-brick style diner mugs......matter of fact that is most definitely the theme at Nat's- solid traditional dining just the way you may remember, with prices, by the way, that are super reasonable and service that is always fast, friendly and professional. I was there once with about 8 people and our server, Rene, got every single, nuanced order correct without writing down a thing- remarkably talented young gent - in my personal pantheon of service pros for sure!

Nat's a neighborhood gem.

By Joe B |

Nat's. Great coffee shop. Very good "deli/coffee shop" type menu. Excellent service. Highly diversified clientele. One of those neighborhood "finds."

The quintessential breakfast spot!

By Mark J |

I frequently eat breakfast at Nat's and for some reason have never written a review so here goes! This is about as good a traditional breakfast spot as you can find. A very simple restaurant lay-out, hearty standard food (eggs, bacon, toast, home made muffins, pancakes etc.) and efficient, professional service. Looking for cutting edge? Look elsewhere. Lunch is served but I've never tried it after all these years. Highly recommended.

Proper American breakfast

By Bettscockburn |

On my last day of my trip, we finally got round to a proper American breakfast. I loved it. Staff were pleasant and really attentive. From tater tots to biscuits and gravy which I had never tried. I recommend. I had habaneros rancheros I really enjoyed this. My friends picked it out for me they chose well. All of their breakfasts were delicious too. They made sure to let me have a taste of everything at the table.

Awesome local breakfast

By kickithilo |

Found this place one block from where we stayed at a cousins house. Small parking lot always full. Located in a small mini mall setting. The food and service were fantastic. Served quickly and efficiently every time we went. We stayed mostly with the breakfast specials. All were delicious with abundant servings. Open at 6:00am when nothing else was.

Good, basic diner fare. Nice break from the chain restaurant scene.

Always a good breakfast...

By Rebecca M |

Always a good breakfast option in a city where it's hard to find a place to go to brunch!

Very Good Breakfast

By Mohsman |

This is a very good breakfast place. It is pretty large, but the parking lot is small - just FYI. My salami and eggs with hash browns and a muffin was very good. They have a great selection of muffins. The pancakes and eggs were just ok. The fried eggs were very good. I can see why this place is popular.

Great Breakfast

By nicenurse1 |

Nat's Early Bite is the go-to restaurant for breakfast.Eat there every Saturday after a weekly 3 mile hike. Food is fresh and delicious, they make their own salsa and jam (which you can buy to take home) The service is slow but that is due to the popularity of the place. There is AWAYS a long line that extends beyond the door--this place is never not busy. once you're seated, the staff very friendly and accomondating. Highly recommend but be prepared to wait--but its totally worth it!

Love Love Love

Tortilla Soup is tops!! Real Turkey. Spotty service depending on wait staff. Parking is horrible but who cares...It's Nat's!!

It should be on your places to eat

By Stuart M |

I really enjoyed the breakfast food here. The crunchy french toast was very good as was the 2 egg breakfast (eggs, hash browns, bacon and one of their great muffins). The muffin I had was a morning glory and I really enjoyed it. Service was on top of things and delivery of our meal was quick. When you walk in and eight cops are eating there, you know the food is good!

Busy Place

By CyndyJoPo |

Our boys took us to this restaurant for Saturday morning brunch. Their menu was quite extensive with breakfast food, salads, and sandwiches. We had to wait about 25 minutes to get a table as this restaurant is small. Everyone enjoyed their food. I would return.

I've been here for breakfast twice and have to say the food is great. Muffins and pancakes are delicious. Veggie omlet is very good, with fresh orange juice. I haven't tried their waffles but they sure look good. There's always a wait but it sure is worth it.

Excellent Breakfast place with excellent corned beef hash. Attentive and friendly service. Baked goods were so-so, but breakfast specials and homemade jams were very good.

Great Breakfast

Nat’s is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. More specifically, Corned Beef Hash and Eggs with there great Hash Browns. It’s a bit pricey but the portions are huge. I have been going to Nat’s for over 25 years.

Best Breakfast Spot (and the locals agree)

By TCBU |

While visiting Sherman Oaks last week, we tried several breakfast places and this was the winner by a long shot. Located in a non-descript center, it is clearly a favorite of the locals (always a line out the door). Excellent food with generous portions and a good value. Pumpkin pecan pancakes and their homemade sausage were outstanding! They manage the flow of customers well...waitlist moves pretty fast.

Great breakfast.

By Carolyn B |

We were taken by local people to this restaurant for a great breakfast. It was terrific, good food, service, fresh squeezed orange juice at reasonable prices. Would recommend for sure.

Another Great Experience

By Curt K |

Every time we come to Los Angeles we have breakfast at Nat’s Early Bite. Every time we always have a great meal and exceptional service. This time, I ordered an omelet and my wife had an Egg Benedict with Home Fries. the food and service was great once again. this is a favorite place for us and will return each trip.

Every time, Outstanding

By as4beatles |

I go there for breakfast only. The staples are the usual; eggs, pancakes, waffles, ham, bacon, sausage, muffins, potatoes, toast and coffee. Every dish is perfect, cooked to perfection, the prices are very affordable and the service is extraordinary.

A local tradition for great breakfast

By Cynhoff |

There s always a waiting list there. The food & freshly baked goods are excellent! They also sell homemade jams. Make sure you check out the specials each day.

Local gem for breakfast!

By James K |

Nat's is only open for breakfast and lunch. We arrived with a party of six and were seated immediately at 8:30 AM. By 9 AM a 30-45 minute wait. Don't let the slightly beat up stripmall location turn you off. The food is all home made with large portions. The conrned beef hash eggs benedict was superb. Great prices too.

Great food and service

By greg h |

I'm hooked on their cilantro sausage scramble. Tastes even better with their home made salsa. Breakfast plates come with toast or muffins. I always opt for their home made muffins. Yum! Great service too.

My favorite breakfast spot in the valley. Low key but great. Really great. Homemade muffins, they have grits, great prices, just amazing! Take my word, it's worth it, and it's usually packed because of it!

Great food

By Slee0220 |

Little hole in the wall, was recommended by a friend has lunch there food was better than I expected. Lot of the food is homemade or made fresh on location. Came back 2 days later for breakfast, one if the best breakfasts I have had in along while. Definitely be revisiting on my next trip the LA

Fun place to eat

By Valleyblue |

This is your basic greasy spoon restaurant that serves excellent and reasonably priced breakfasts. Great service and delicious food. The downside is the VERY LIMITED parking available. You will likely end up looking for street parking, but street parking is available. Be sure to check out the cool, retro toy store right next door after your meal. It's a wonderful trip down memory lane, especially for those of us over 50.

Great Neighborhood Coffee Shop

By alanmhersh |

Wonderful coffee shop that has been going strong since the 1950s. Excellent bakery as well. There is usually a 20 minute wait on weekends but it is worth it. The food is delicious and you get a lot for your money. Great people watching. While you are waiting for your table, brouse through the antique toy store next door. The restaurant will call you in the toy store when your table is ready. Check the board in the restaurant for the daily specials. Great place for breakfast.

I've been eating at this place since I was a lil girl and now bring my children here. It's got the greatest breakfast potatoes ever...and they make sooo many things from scratch. (Sausage, Hash, Muffins, Cookies - Oatmeal lace are the BEST.) No store bought crap comes outta this restaurant. If you're going for breakfast on a weekend expect to wait, but it's well worth the time!!!!
