Fast service with a smile!!

We had fish and chips and the hot chicken sandwich! Everything was a great tasting. The fast service was perfect for a lunch break during a conference!

Thanks to Nine Fine and New York New York

By Travellingphoenix64 |

This is a quick shout out to the staff of Nine Fine Irishmen AND the concierge at the New York New York Hotel. Thank you thank you thank you! During a recent birthday trip to Las Vegas with family, I wanted a certain table booked on the main floor for our celebration. My wife and I love this restaurant and especially the house band, SinERI Ra. Being familiar with the layout of the restaurant, I requested a table that sits on the main floor off to the side of the band stand. I was very grateful that my request was honored. We had an amazing time! Thank you.

A lot like an Irish Pub in Donegal

By AllyG520 |

Fun location for dinner. Be sure to get reservations so you don't miss it. The beer-cheese dip to start is a favorite!! You'll still want an entree, but wow what a great way to start. Elevator to help you get upstairs, but sadly no one to help you get down.

Great Irish Fare on the Vegas Strip

By Alex |

Great atmosphere and reasonably priced for the Vegas strip. Service was friendly and professional. I started with a basic house salad which was very good. Then on to my main course which was the largest Chicken Pot Pie I had ever been served. It was great. The blend of the potatoes, carrots, onions and peas in tomato bisque, topped with a big fluffy pastry crust cooked perfectly, was simply outstanding. For dessert, you absolutely, positively have to get the bread pudding. It was the perfect temperature covered with bourbon caramel and whisky crème. Probably the best bread pudding I ever had. A great selection of Irish whiskies and beers.

Not authentic

By s66blade |

Chicken curry is not chargrilled chicken with curry sauce poured on it. Whoever thought this was an authentic Irish pub has never been to Ireland.

Food good, service terrible.

By NatBradford |

Food was superb as always, generous portions and good atmosphere but the service was terrible. We were seated straight away, our server came over obviously fed up and annoyed, I asked to order drinks but they didn’t have Guinness, and ldidn’t have rose wine - not his fault but was rushing me to order or he’d have to leave, I was trying to decide what to have and he was so rude and not helpful. Food got taken to the wrong table before being brought over, we got no cutlery, had to ask for napkins 3 times before finally getting up and getting them ourselves from the bar. No server to check on us during our food, asked a different server for a to go box and our bill because id had enough and he rudely replied all your own server, when I said I hadn’t seen him for ages he then went onto help us. TLDR: food good, service appalling.

Fish and Chips!!

By Jantravs4fun |

amazing Fish and chips, it was a huge portion, you could definitely split! this was in New York New York, Friday in Lent and looking for a good fish lunch and found it by the luck of the irish☘️

Well done, enjoyed.

By CaribooCol |

Good spot for an enjoyable dinner and a couple of pints. Service, food, and cold pints were great. I had the Bangers & mash while my wife had the Shepherds Pie, both were delicious.

A fun vibe in the late hours

By Sean W |

Friendly bartenders, well-poured Guinness, a fun and lively band and a cool atmosphere at night. Best craic on the south strip for me.

Decent portions and great food

By SRM1967 |

Saturday afternoon and fairly quiet, the front bar on the strip side was closed, even closed later on at 8pm. Old world fake Irish bar, nice enough interior. Comprehensive menu with some Irish old favourites; fish and chips had three large fish fillets, shepherds pie and chicken burger great, Irish breakfast was good and very filling. Refills on the fizzy drink, not on the menu so no prizes. Not overly exterior the sizes . Service friendly and super efficient

Gotta Go Back!

By eespeck |

First time to Nine Fine and it won’t be our last! Fun environment, great food and plenty of it, and service that was well worth a nice tip (friendly and helpful). Gotta go - because we’ll be back!

Good food and atmosphere

By Rob S |

We really enjoyed our dinner at Nine Fine Irishmen in New York New York. My son said it was the best burger he had in Vegas, my wife love the Shepard pie and enjoyed my beer batter fish. Wait staff and very friendly.

On point Bangers & mash!!

By JoAnne-Griffin |

We have lived overseas and often visit various pubs for fish and chips or bangers and mash. Hands down the best we have has stateside. Made reservations and they were able to get us in early. Great drink, food and service.

Service awful

By Shirley C |

We are an Irish couple. There is nothing Irish about this bar. Food was okay. Ridiculously over priced. $6 for 2 slices of toast! The hostess outside was so rude. She gave out to people who came in without checking with her where they should sit but she wasn’t even at her station. She was over chatting to the bar man. No feeling of an Irish warm here. Much nicer Irish bars around.

Great Lunch

By Love2travelthree |

We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Lots of good people watching on the sidewalk. The food was very good. We had the cheesesteak and the corned beef sandwich with a few beers. Diane was our server and she did a great job. We will return and try other menu items as it all looked good with many choices to choose from.

Enjoyed our meal at Nine Fine Irishmen!

By Lindsey H |

Had supper there with my spouse before the Mad Apple show. We enjoyed the Irish Nachos, Irish soup, side salad and Fish and Chips. There was a lot of food and it was all delicious. Service was great and food came out quickly.

Lively Atmosphere, Okay Food

By PookyCake |

During a quick weekend trip to bid farewell to The Mirage, I made it a point to patronize some long-standing eateries on my “must try” list. One such establishment was the New York New York’s Nine Fine Irishmen. On my list since 2017, I’d heard from a few people that the cuisine here was very good and worth checking out; hence, why I added it to said list seven years ago. In any event, I came here with M as part of an early dinner before my departure back to Canada. I was excited to come here – especially because I’d heard such good things from quite the cross-section of people! One thing I really enjoyed about this Irish pub was its atmosphere. Walking in, you really do get a feel of authenticity: The dark wood paneling; the music; the flooring and lighting patterns; the pictures and busts of the nine Irishmen this pub is named after . . . it all feels genuinely Irish . . . and for good reason. The whole pub was apparently constructed in Ireland, disassembled, shipped across the Atlantic, and put back together in the New York New York. I don’t know about you, but I really like that touch of authenticity. This is not just an Irish façade – it’s the real deal. Service throughout dinner was good, if not a little cheeky at times (decidedly Irish, perhaps?). Anyway, it was fun and totally fit in with the chill vibe of the pub. For dinner, I decided to order the Shepherd’s Pie ($26). After all, when patronizing an Irish pub, why not get something that screams Ireland? Overall, I thought the Shepherd’s Pie was “okay.” Its presentation – in a steel bucket – was certainly unique, but such presentation also allowed the execution of the pie to be rather lazy. The mashed potatoes were good, but it seemed a little thin on carrots, peas and onions. The beef, while plentiful, was at once under seasoned and overly salty. I didn’t finish the pie, opting to save room for dessert: The Guinness Chocolate Cake ($13). Made with genuine Guinness, chocolate ganache, and served with vanilla ice cream, this cake was the clear highlight for me. It was soft, moist and oh so satisfying. I almost got drunk from the Guinness (haha kidding). FOOD: 3/5 SERVICE: 3/5 ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 VALUE: 3/5 RECOMMENDATION: The atmosphere is genuine, the vibe is fun, and the food is pretty decent. While I wasn’t totally enamored with my Shepherd’s Pie, I’d gladly return and try a few other dishes. If you’re staying at – or visiting – the NYNY then I recommend checking this place out. Photos added. Great food and service

By NitroDog |

Located in New York-New York Hotel & Casino. My wife and I had no reservations and were seated within 5 minutes. My wife ordered the Meatloaf Dinner that was huge and I had the Caesars Salad with added chicken. The food and service were excellent on this visit.

Great service

By rhjrjs |

Sat up at the bar. The bartender was great, attentive, and friendly. Food was awesome. The wedge salad was excellent. Love the atmosphere. Will for sure return.

Fine indeed!

By TravelEnthusiast |

We stopped in prior to a show at NYNY and we’re glad we did! Sat up at the bar and enjoyed a drink and shepherds pie which was delicious and uniquely presented in a metal bucket. Service was great and the ambiance was traditional Irish pub - beautifully done. Will make a point of returning next time we’re in Vegas.

Delicious

By Martin B |

Service was very good. Corned beef on Rye was delicious best food I had while in Las Vegas to be honest.

Nice little spot

By audrina o |

This place was a must do stop for an Irish person in Vegas. Lovely inside and out and our waitress gave us all the history behind the building which was great. I was delighted to see McDonnells curry sauce on the menu. I don’t live in Ireland, so, I was happy to see a taste of home. However I was highly disappointed when my chicken curry was put in front of me….. I could tell from the colour of the sauce it wasn’t what it said it was even before I tasted it. It was nice enough but, please don’t say you are making something specific and it not be it.

Bad experience

By KB |

Awful service, food was meh. I ordered a shepherds pie which was bland, and came in a weird pot with a small ratio of meat to mashed potato. Nothing else on the plate, it could do with a side salad or veggies. $26 for a pot of a handful of ground beef and mashed potato? My husband ordered lamb and guiness stew which was runny, and again served in a weird pot on its own with a couple small pieces of dry bread. Again, needed a side something. Very overpriced and would not rerurn or recommend based on this meal. We have been to many "Irish" restaurants in the past, so have a lot to compare this one too, ans this is the worst one we have ever been to.

Nice Place To Sit Outside And People Watch With Cold Beer

By therealS1 |

We sat outside and enjoyed the cold beers and ciders. The bartenders were friendly and the people watching were great. A live band was performing adjacent to the bar which added to the fun.

One of our favorite spots in Las Vegas

By S4136XSdavidb |

Staff is friendly, helpful. Can be crowded, Excellent food and drinks in a transplanted Irish pub. Always fun and lots of drink options.

Not in my Irish family.

By SHColllins |

Ordered chicken pot pie. Terrible! Just a pot of glob with a puff pastry on top. Too dark and dingy. Liked the NY waitress. Wouldn't go back.

Nice food, ok service.

By susan2909 |

The food was good & service was quick. Instead of my light beer i got a regular beer, not ideal. The menu is nice, pity the prices seemed to increase overnight on f1 weekend. Nice outdoor terrace to watch life go past on LVB.

Yum!!

By Loretta L |

Oh my!! Breakfast was wonderful!! Staff was so sweet, happy & helpful (Thanks Stephanie) Will definitely go back when in town!

Nice dinner in noisy Las Vegas

By SN |

Great, super friendly staff and good food. Nice authentic Irish pub atmosphere, and a nice and quiet break compared to the noisy and colorful bling of the casino just outside. Large selection of food, recommend the burger and salmon.

Good spot to eat and be entertained

By DaveH36 |

Very Large Portions, so heads up if you are not "starving" Food was top quality Pub Food. Service was steady, no issues

Just trying to get something to eat

By TDWest22 |

They were opening in one minute and told us and the couple behind us they were closed. Could not sit anyone. And not very nicely. The two ladies were more like security guards than Hostesses

Good food , beautiful bar

By John D |

Waitress who seated us was rude, so we moved to the bar. Bartender Tom (?) was very nice and made up for it. Food was delicious, bar is very cool.

The Perfect Spot to Unwind in Vegas

By Matthew L |

After a long day of walking the Strip and trying our luck at the tables, my wife and I returned to the New York-New York Casino looking for a place to relax and grab a bite before heading back out. We decided to try Nine Fine Irishmen, and we were not disappointed! Here is why it was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip: Authentic Atmosphere: We were seated upstairs quickly and immediately loved the design. It has a true Irish Pub feel—lively yet comfortable. Great Service: Our waiter was prompt with drinks and helpful with the menu, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Delicious Comfort Food: The menu is traditional Irish fare. I had the Shepherd's Pie and my wife ordered the Bangers and Mash. Both dishes came out hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty. Relaxing Vibe: It was exactly what we needed. We were able to eat, have a few drinks, and just enjoy ourselves in a fun environment. If you are in the area and enjoy Irish Pubs, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Irish pub in Vegas

By Corrado R |

While staying at the New York New York Hotel, I dined at this pub inside the New York streets. The atmosphere is real british, and the food as well. I had fish and chips with a Harp draft beer. Portions are generous and the taste is good; prices are on the high side.

Fish and chips go to

By CKLB |

This restaurant is located in New York New York hotel & casino. The atmosphere is unique and is nice. Overall not a great place to have a business dinner because it can be loud. However if you are looking for a lively atmosphere then this is the place to go. Food was good we all got the fish and chips. Took a little longer than normal but we didn’t mind. They have a good selection of drafts. I have been here once a year for the 3 years and not much has changed.

Nine Fine Irishmen

By TerrasTravels |

Wow! This is my third time here and it does not disappoint! The ambience is so cool! You literally feel like you are in Ireland. Service is always great. I’ve never been there and had bad service. Always great service! I believe our waiter‘s name was Colby or Cory He was awesome! My friend had the lamb stew and the butter cake dessert and I had the fish and chips and they were all amazing! This is one of the best places to get fish and chips in my opinion on the strip! They are so big!! The whiskey apple martini is amazing as well!

Nice quiet spot at upper bar

By 2018CDN |

We only had drinks at the upper bar, so I can’t comment on the food. But Chris the bartender was fantastic. Very personable, and made our night.

Try this one!

By AZ_Margie |

Great spot inside NYNY. We sat in the area behind the bar, away from the busy casino traffic. Service was great as was the food. The fried pickles were superb. I had the the chicken pot pie which is not what you get from the grocery store freezer case! Big, flaky, delicious crust on top. Service was terrific and food was brought to us piping hot. Too full to have dessert! Highly recommend.

Waitress with personality of a dead wasp!

By Sue S |

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a cold drink. Food was average but the attitude of our server left a lot to be desired. If she spoke 10 words to us throughout our time there would be a slight exaggeration. When we paid, we left a tip but it reflected the poor service and rudeness of our server. She had the cheek to come back to the table with a ‘suggestion’ of a suitable tip as she felt that she was entitled to more. Well, my tip is this: 1. Smile 2. Get a new personality- your current one is non existent 3. Talk to your customers. Don’t treat them like something unpleasant you trod on We appreciate that it isn’t an easy job at times but a smile and engaging with your customers goes a long way. Scowling and complaining that you haven’t received what you think you deserve doesn’t help your case. We won’t be returning- plenty of other restaurants on the Strip

A know it all manager blew a good review

By Frank K |

Server was awesome. Food was very good. The so called manager who made sure to tell us he’s been boss for a whole 7 months and our comp didn’t work. That’s funny went to our host and she said he didn’t know what he was talking about

Not sure NYNY and MGM wants us to stay at their hotel

By Glenn |

Staff did not want to listen to the issue we had at the Irish Pub. Had reservation for a specific table at Nine Fine Irish Men that was take away so that some MGM Executives could have their Christmas party. MGM Executives did not show up until 10:00 pm and the table I wanted was not used for 1 hour, Overall MGM, NYNY and Irish Pub staff just seem to not want our business.

Outstanding bar and food

By TomC0310 |

Such a nice bar and the food is really nice aswell. On a Saturday night the outdoor bar is open where you can watch the band playing. We had a meal twice during our 2 week stay in Vegas. Food was simple but very nice. Gluten free menu available. Simply could not fault the food whatsoever. Would definitely return !

Better than Irish Stew

By Katharine Y |

While looking for a place to eat prior to a show at New York New York hotel we spied a menu for Nine Fine Irishmen that offered Sheperd's Pie. As this is my favourite meal and it was a cool night in February, we waited for a table at this very pub themed restaurant. The Sheperd's pie did not disappoint! I think it was the best I have ever had (did I mention this is a favourite of mine?) Huge serving, only problem is I could not do it justice. Wished our hotel had a fridge and microwave to take half in a doggie bag. My suggestion to most average eaters would be to order one to share with a partner and then add a salad. Maybe a larger person could have done a better job of making the meal disappear. I did truly enjoy the dish and did my best to find the bottom of the pail (yes it was served in a pail). I will be dreaming of this meal for years to come! Hope to visit again just for another try!

Busy pub in NYNY

By SergAndTat |

Ate there on several occasions. Did not find anything exceptional, just good food. Service was fine. One time we turned back - place was packed. Love choice of seating - outside, or in on first/second floor

My wife is Irish and she was Impressed

By Docsports |

Since my wife is Irish this was a must go for us when we visited this area. Very atmospheric and pleasant. My wife got the Shepard's Pie and said it was just like her mothers, gave me a taste because she could not finish the whole thing, and it was very good. I got the Bangers and Mash and it was also very good, though I thought hers was better. Good sized portions and I thought the prices were reasonable. Service was very good, though they were busy, and everyone was nice and helpful.

Horrendously expensive, Dublin is cheaper

By leigh from leigh |

Horrendously expensive!!! 1 small Chardonnay and I beer, $30!! Makes London look cheap . Service could have come with a smile for this price

Horrible Service, Patronize ANY Establishment Other Than This One!

By T T |

The service was extraordinarily terrible. We were sat at a table that ended up being part of the bar and the bartender informed us that we had to move as we had a minor with us, which we questioned when 1st seated. Once we were moved to another table, we selected our order and when we provided our selections, were were told we would have to leave as we were only ordering desserts and drinks, as it was nearly 10pm. This establishment is an absolute disgrace and SHOULD NOT BE PATRONIZED. I have traveled globally and would never expected the worst Customer Service in the world would be right here at the New York, New York in Las Vegas. Pathetic!

Get the Shepherd's Pie!!

By Katelyn R |

Oh my goshhhhh. This place is super cute and authentic feeling. The decorations are spot on making you feel like you traveled abroad. I was back and forth on what to order.... I got the Shepherd's pie (get it with cheese on top)! It was absolutely to die for. My husband got the fish sandwich and that was very good as well, but i think i was the true winner. So so worth the time and money.

Very good food, great live band

By Joe H |

A friend of ours has a cousin who plays fiddle at Nine Fine Irishmen Pub on Sundays and fills in other nights. We arrived in Vegas on Monday evening and walked to New York New York in search of when Myron was performing - and he was there, subbing that night! Not only was the band exceptionally good, we enjoyed our food and drinks and I got a couple photos with Myron to send to my friend. You can hear the band from anywhere inside the pub. I got closer for a few band photos. I highly recommend this restaurant and their live band.

Fun place, live music, and good Irish beer and whisky.

By Janet E |

NYNY was located across the street from the NoMad. We went to have a drink and check it out. It was late so we had to go inside to get in. No food only drinks were available. Band was playing and people were having fun. Music is really loud so I had to put my ear plugs back in.

Food, Drink & Musoc - Irish Style

By themntneer |

We were needing a pint of the Black Stuff and an Irish meal. Bangers & Mash together with Fish & Chips hit the spot. Honestly, both were great and couldn’t eat the 2nd piece of fish (so much food). We finished eating before the 9pm live music started, but did return next night for some live Irish music. Great time!

Not worth a visit unless Sin é Ri-Ra is playing.

By Michael Niels R |

Nine Fine Irishmen unfortunately disappointed on several fronts. The service was very bad - when we asked for an extra chair, we got a no, and even a bit with an offensive tone, as if we were completely wrong for asking. And that's even though there were around 30 vacancies that could not be moved because it didn't quite fit into the line-up. That had never happened in a grown up Irish bar! So unfortunately I have to say that even though the place looks like an Irish pub, it feels like plastic if you have experienced a real Irish bar. The price of a beer was even $16, which is way too much, but that's just Vegas. The only bright spot, which was also huge, was the band Sin é Ri-Ra, who really deserve five stars - they were amazingly good. Unless the band is playing, it's definitely not worth a visit.

Awesome Atmosphere

By Brenda L |

Prices are great, service wonderful, music appropriate, atmosphere 6 stars, and food delicious! Hubby and I split a corned beef sandwich (we each have health issues so this is the best way to accommodate), and each had a Two Gingers. Do you know how hard it is to find this?!! Anyway, located within New York, NY, you will come across this before you find the deli. It's worth whatever you are expecting. Sorry I don't have better defining photos.

One word in English or Gaelic--"DELICIOUS"

By GCSMaryland |

Authentic is this Irish pub/restaurant located in New York, New York hotel. I felt I was back in Ireland the moment I walked in. Immediately assisted by Evelyn, Maritza and Liz take great care of you. Having been to Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland 3 times, I longed for the Shepherds Pie again. I know this dish well as I have it every time I visit the Isles of Ireland or U.K. The most delicious comfort food to warm the stomach. Upon entering the pub, you notice immediately the fixtures similar to pubs in Ireland. The furnishings have come across the great "pond" to America. The wallcoverings are copies, of course, of Ireland in the last century. Just a delightful place to visit; but, the reward is the food and efficient servers. We has Justin, I believe. Our Shepherds pie came out hot and hardy in a little authentic pot just like in the old country, Ireland. If looking for a real Irish experience, go to Nine Fine Irishmen and Evelyn, Maritza and Liz will take good care of you. You will LOVE it. Just go!

As Close to the Emerald Isle as Vegas Can Be....

By tombri1 |

Located in the New York New York, this is a fantastic restaurant to visit while in Vegas. This was actually our second time here, and the food and atmosphere have been consistently great over several years. The Shepherd's Pie and the Lamb & Guinness Stew are stand-outs, and the Grilled Salmon is also fantastic. For dessert, the Guinness Chocolate Cake is amazing! Part of what you're here for are the drinks of course, and the Irish Old Fashioned will certainly deliver. I can also recommend the Stone Wall Sour if that's your thing. Make sure you go on a night with the band there to really get the most of it. Slainte!

Can’t go wrong here

By MorkandMindy47 |

Great food and service. Friendly clientele and super Irish band played non-stop, it seemed. Lots of fun and good for people watching!

Good Irish food

By ERFSU82 |

This place has a great Irish vibe, with delicious food and excellent service. We had a larger group and were able to get right in with a reservation. The menu has a good mix of traditional Irish dishes. The chicken pot pie was delicious.

Worst Irish Pub ever!

By surfercharlie |

I am Irish and have been to hundreds of Irish pubs in the U.S. and around the world. 9 Fine Irishmen is the worst I have ever visited. The hostess was rude. Server was ok, and support staff was good. We were seated right in front of the bathrooms, literally. No table should be located where we were seated. I need to explain we live in beef country, and are well versed in meats, especially beef. My wife ordered a ribeye steak. It was definitely not ribeye. No doubt it was a low quality sirloin. However, it was appropriately cooked. My "lamb" was beef. Its really not hard to tell the difference. I will say the portion sizes were on the large size. Prices were a bit high, but its Vegas. We will not be back.

Good but expensive.

By luis fernando O |

Great food and the Pint Guiness very good. But it's expensive. Go to Mandalay Bay by the sidewalks and meet the Ri Rá Pub. Cheaper Pint and food of the same quality.

Good food and ambience

By PaulandWendy C |

Great spot for dinner after the show. Food was excellent and the portion of my fish and chips was so huge, I could not finish it! Live music was great but a little loud for conversation.

Excellent Food, Service Not Great

By Gizmo311 |

Went back to Nine Fine Irishmen again on our Vegas trip this summer. Food was pretty decent, as always. Their atmosphere is actually pretty close to what you might expect in a pub in Dublin. We were a little disappointed this time with the service however. When it was time to check out we wanted to use our MGM gift card and the waitress couldn't figure out how to do it, so instead of asking another employee or manager, she just said "it won't work". We checked with the hostess to see if they accepted them, and she said yes, and even the MGM website states that NFI accepts them. Luckily, we were able to use the card at Bellagio the next day (with no problems, at all.). Just a little disappointed that the waitress couldn't be bothered to find out how to process a gift card. We gave a nice tip anyway, even though she wasn't even the person that brought out the food, and never checked on us during the entire meal. We'll probably be back in the future at some point, because we do like Irish food. Turnover at Vegas restaurants is pretty high so poor service issues usually tend to 'sort themselves out' over time.

We popped in after a walk around the strip, polite staff and food was delicious definitely recommend pop in after a few games at the casino

Please consider customer service training for your hostess

By Aggiegal19 |

I wish I could list zero stars based on the hostess tonight. We have stayed at NYNY for 15 plus years and have had five star experiences here, but the past three years have been horrible because of service. The food is still good, but sadly - when you have a reservation with a confirmation email and the hostess tells you, that’s great but it’s not on my sheet. It’s just sad. She then refused to look at my husband’s phone to review his confirmation email and said they have issues after the hack. She would not even be polite to understand that we waited hours later than normal to eat to have a reservation. She sat us at a table out front and we waited 17 minutes with no server acknowledgement or even water. When we finally left, she smirked and wished us on our way. Maybe it’s time to go back to the Park MGM.

Must try!

By Wendy J |

Wow - this place knocked it out of the park! The decor, food and service made us want to come back the next night! The menu had great selections and the service was highly attentive. We were seated near the bar & enjoyed hearing the bartender’s Irish accent.

Worst attitude bartender

By Lee m |

Terrible attitude of the bartender…..Avoid. I went with my wife on the first Saturday in march for some drinks after a rugby game, the place was busy and we waited at the bar to be served, I asked the bartender could I get a drink and he came back with a shocking attitude about what the hell did i think he was doing stood behind the bar if he wasn’t serving drinks, I told him we had been in one minute and his attitude stinks, he made the drinks and we went to listen to the band, but my wife was upset by the guys attitude as he was staring over at us, we decided to leave and waved bye to the bartender who then told us to fk off, I couldn’t believe it and told him where to go. Will never go again…

Not with the price

By Usamargaritavile |

Had one best selling items for dinner, Sheperd’s pie. Basically a 6oz ground beef in light sauce with mashed potatoes on top. Not what I would expect or that it’s $34 for a $10 meal.

Nice meal

By Brendon P |

Nice meal and great servers. Nothing exciting to write home about but just a decent portion at a decent price. We tried the burger and cheesesteak.

Good Food & Service

By Gizmo311 |

After going to NFI last summer, we were looking forward to trying them again. This time we had a 2 for 1 MyVegas reward, which made our bill a bit more reasonable. The service was great...they were not busy when we got there so we did not have to wait for a table. The Bangers & Mash and Shephed's Pie were both delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Vegas and staying on the South Strip.

I’m embarrassed that I bragged this place up

By Gerry K |

Nine Fine Irishmen was my favorite bar in Vegas, but I’ll probably never go again. We went there last Monday with another couple, just for drinks and maybe some snacks because I had been talking the place up and wanted our friends to enjoy it We arrived at the podium where 2 hostesses were on station, we asked for a table with great ambiance and were told to go to the patio facing the strip. We went, took a look but it’s March and very cold outside at night. We go back and ask about seating on the patio area that is in front of the bar and were told we could sit there but no one was serving in this area and we would have to serve ourselves. We agreed and sat at a table, served ourselves and had a good time. Then at 9:00pm they started seating other people in the area and serving them but would not serve our table. We finished up and started to walk out, but our friends stopped at the hostess station to ask why they refused to serve us. I watched the whole thing and our friends were very pleasant, smiling and politely asking why no one would serve us. The hostess waisted no time getting on her walkie-talkie and called security saying she was being harassed by angry white people. We were all told to leave at that point and quite frankly I was glad to go. Las Vegas premier Irish bar had just racially discriminated against us for being white and asking for an explanation for not being served.

Staff were super rude!

By Jess |

As an actual irish person i wouldn’t recommend this place, the staff were super rude towards us as soon as we walked in.. Lack of communication between outdoor & indoor staff. When we were outside they told us to go in & pick a seat inside, the lady inside told us to ‘check in’ before we sat anywhere, stood there for 5 minutes waiting & then just walked out..

Peaceful atmosphere and good food

We're looking for something different to eat and one of our friends mentioned Irish food. So as we were coming back from a show we stopped at 9 fine Irishman. The wait for a table was not terribly long even without a reservation. The interior of this restaurant is set up to remove you from the hustle and bustle of the casinos. You feel like you're in somebody's house or basement and away from all the lights and noise. We were seated just before 8:00 and found out the live music started at 9:00. So we made sure to mention to our server that we wanted to be out of there before live music started to avoid the noise. Once seated it took a while for our server to find us. I don't know if that was a lack of communication or that we were nestled off in a secluded corner. Between the three of us we ordered bangers and mash, Irish cheesesteak which was heavy on peppers, and braised short rib. All the food was good and the service was okay. We would definitely give this place another visit

Amazing!!

By Joe C |

Although we have visited NYNY on many occasions over the years, we had never visited the Nine Fine Irishmen until May 2023. Firstly, the place looks fairly small from the outside (within the Casino) – but actually inside it is pretty big, with a large outdoor patio on the Strip/Brooklyn Bridge area out front. The bar/restaurant is superbly decorated, and with the live Irish band and dancer, you could easily be fooled into thinking you were in Dublin, not in the middle of a Vegas casino. Our server was super friendly, and we opted for a Melting Cheese & Bread appetizer, which was incredible! For entrees, we opted for Fish & Chips, Sausage & Mash and Irish Stew. Every one of these dishes was stunning, one of the best Fish & Chips we have ever had – and we are from the home of Fish & Chips in England! The gravy that accompanied the Sausages was stunning with hints of marmite and the Irish Stew also was given a 5*. We cannot believe, we have walked past this amazing place so many times and never tried. We will certainly be back in the future, and we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Just be aware, it can get loud and busy, so if you are looking for a quiet meal, this isn’t the place, but if you want atmosphere and fun, then head right to this place!

I have had problems dining here for the last three visits. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. On this visit my wife and I ordered the Beer and Cheese Dip for a starter. Some of the bread was stale and it was over salted. We also had the Broccolini. We ordered their New York Steak to share. We were given a very fatty Rib Eye steak that I refused. I know the difference. It went back to the kitchen. 30 minutes later our New York Steak arrived. It was very good. The savior of this meal was I got my 10% military discount and MyVegas Reward with MGM. If I paid full price, I would not have been happy. Management at MGM needs to look at these reviews on TA and other sites. I am being very kind on this review.

Better not!!

We actually wanted to eat and drink there - but the beer was so crazy expensive there. It's $14 and the glass wasn't even chilled. We went to the Hardrock Café - it costs 8 dollars and very nice service !!!

Irish Pub in Las Vegas

By Leigh |

Stopped here for lunch, one of the restaurants I wanted to try. Sat outside, service was quick and very pleasant. My husband had the fish and chips, I ordered the bangers and mash. Good portions. 2 large portions of fish, husband said it was good not heavy, 3 sausages, good amount of mashed potatoes, said it included mushrooms, braised cabbage and gravy. There were only 2 mushrooms and a sprinkle of something called cabbage, looked more like Kale and was not braised. Gravy is from a mix, I could tell the moment my plate arrived. It tasted and looked like package gravy. Then 1 1/2 hours later I was in the washroom for 4 times in 2 hours with diarrhea. Nothing tasted off, but something upset my stomach. We would go again, but I would have something else.

Visit if you want food poisoning or an allergic reaction

By TheVanDykTeam |

We’ve been here in Las Vegas now for nearly a week and I can honestly say, this is the worst experience ever The order was taken by the waitress for drinks and food, the onion rings arrived and for some reason we also had fish in them with batter. So when we asked why we had fish in them. The reply was oh sorry it shouldn’t be there!! Then then mains came, chicken curry, and chicken burger. The chicken in the curry was raw! When we asked the waitress, she replied oh yes it is raw. No apology, absolute joke Do not eat here if you have allergens or don’t want food poisoning

Nice food but chilly on the patio at Christmas!

By starseeker |

Nice decor and Irish atmosphere. Inside the New York New York casino. We had the Shepherds Pie with extra cheese on top. Very nice! Two other couples favor the bangers and mash. With a pint of Guinness beer of course! We had lunch on the outside patio overlooking Las Vegas strip. It was a little chilly even with the overhead gas heaters but there was no room for our party of 6 Inside.

Many Photos Added. Very Good Visit

By NitroDog |

My wife and I made a 8:30pm reservation and were seated immediately. We had the myvegas slots deal (BOGO). We ordered drinks and split the Wedge Salad. Very good. We also each ordered a New York Strip Steak cooked medium-well. They both came out well done. I used some HP Sauce and I was fine. My wife used A1 sauce. The service was excellent and I will return again soon.

Five fine stars!

By Rastiloo |

Enjoyed a few drinks and food at None Fine Irishmen in October 2023. Service was great. The beer and cheese dip is very tasty and serves as a meal! Bonus: there are washrooms in the pub so you don’t have to venture back into the casino. Great spot!

Great service and outdoor seating

By stevebintley |

This is a great pub with expansive indoor area but some wonderful outdoor seating which is a brilliant place to while away a few hours with friends. The staff are all friendly and very attentive at getting additional drinks if you’re sat within the main pub area and the prices aren’t too bad given the location. There’s an outdoor bar with a small amount of seating at which is lovely and if you’re happy to order and collect from the bar yourself you can sit further out on the pavement; great for people watching! A favourite spot on the strip for a more relaxed vibe and I recommend!

Good food-Not good Atmosphere

By desvw1029 |

This was by far the darkest restuarant we have ever eaten at. We had a pretty crappy table, there was no light and we had to use our phones to see the menu. The food was good, excellent meal. But it was a claustrophobic experience for us. I think they may have outdoor dining and I would do that again, but not inside. I get pubs are on the dark side, but this was extreme.

Pot pis is disgusting

By Neil W |

Absolutely not the pleasant welcoming staff you get in Ireland but hey, they are crap, ignorant staff. Crap food

Excellent food, great people, cool atmosphere

By gsgman777 |

All the food was excellent and the employees were wonderful!!!! I highly recommend this place, great atmosphere and great food! We had the pot pie, meatloaf, pork chop, soup salad and nachos and didn't have any complaints.

Rude!!

By Tanya c. |

We’re are staying in the hotel so thought we’d give this bar a try as it’s on site. We were told that drinks were only at the bar , upstairs or downstairs and outside as the tables are for food, which wasn’t a problem. We bought drinks for 6 adults and took them to the bar upstairs as it wasn’t so crowded. After about 10 minutes, the barman asked one of our party to vacate the chair as he had customers that wanted it and they were priority as they paid for their drinks at his bar . It’s the same pub!! Just one bar upstairs and one down. We paid 88$ for 6 drinks that too be honest weren’t great . The Guinness was terrible , the staff rude and drinks expensive. The friendly welcome of an Irish pub is something this place certainly doesn’t have.

Always A Favorite

By Kuvasz1988 |

I always enjoy my visit here. The atmosphere is tremendous and the food is great. I love the live music and I make it a habit to get to listen to it at least one night!

BEST chicken sandwich ever

By CRClouse13 |

I just had the biggest, best hot chicken sandwich ever. This SOB was huge Fries were great and the celtic breeze drink hit the spot. I would definitely come here again. This place rocks, great atmosphere as well! 5 out of 5

Nice Dinner after Cirque Show

By cjmretired |

Went to the restaurant after seeing the Cirque show Mad Apple. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Very nice atmosphere and good live music. Our two meals were excellent. I had the salmon and my wife had the pork chops. Both were cooked to perfection and came with nice side dishes. Price was reasonable and would return again.

Great pre game spot

By ElitePhx |

Our waitress was fantastic! Very friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. Pot pie was decent and would have been 5 stars if there was just a little more chicken and potatoes. Fish and chips was great. Kids mac n cheese was just ok. The Irish margarita was great but the old fashioned wasn’t to my liking (I drink old fashioned often). Service here really made this a great experience prior to heading to a golden knights game. I would go here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat/drink prior to the game

Mixed review on this one

By Chug48 |

Was looking forward to eating here since my last trip to Vegas and was under impressed. I preferred the fish and chips… the fish batter was so undercooked it was mushy so I basically didn’t eat any of it. My daughters Shepards pie was just ok. My wife and son had Irish cheese steak and a burger and they enjoyed those. Service was good, atmosphere we didn’t get much of as we were in a back corner against a wall in a nook. Definitely not the best experience and with so many places to try, won’t be back of NFI.

Don’t Be 10 Minutes Late!

By walester |

Arrived at 5:25 pm for a 5:15 pm reservation for two. Hostess would not seat us because we were late. Made us stand to the side while they seated 5:30 reservations. Not a very hospitable or welcoming experience. Skip this place and go to the excellent Asian restaurant just route corner.

Great place!

By Timothy L |

Great place. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were able to get a table with no wait. Our waitress was friendly and professional. The atmosphere and the layout reminded me of a visit to Dublin several years ago. The food was fantastic! I had the lamb and Guinness stew, and my wife had the fish and chips. The servings are big, my wife couldn't finish all of hers. There was going to be live music, but we were done before it started. I highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat here if you're in the area!

Bad, BaD, and BAD experience with waiter with attitude! Can't believe it!

By Rick P |

We had a family of 5, including a 9-year-old boy. As we walked to the Irish restaurant, our son saw a hotdog place and wanted one, so we bought it for him. This is what you do for a 9-year-old. We arrived at "Nine Fine Irishmen" and asked for a table for 5. They saw us and seated us right away. Great experience so far. Then our waiter, David, showed up with an attitude and said, "Either the boy and the hotdog go, or the whole table has to go." David left for a minute and came back, demanding our decision while we were still discussing our options. He interrupted us, insisting he needed an answer immediately because they needed the table. I couldn't believe that a supposedly good restaurant could have such an attitude and tell a family of 5 to leave. I told him I didn't appreciate his attitude but respected the restaurant's policy. He quickly said, "I will go and get my manager." Two minutes later, the manager came to our table, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I am going to have to ask that you all leave as we need this table." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. We were not loud, not drinking, just simply looking through the menu as a typical American family of 5 would do. This restaurant came recommended by my brother, but as I told the manager, in all my 60 years of traveling, I have never been treated with such disrespect. In the end, I explained to the manager that I wasn't upset about the restaurant's policy on bringing a hotdog, but I was furious about the rude, disrespectful, and terrible attitude from both David and his manager. I will never consider going to this restaurant again after how my family was treated.

Well heck yeah, start with a drink

By Ellen N |

As we travel more we find we love to try the Irish pubs and fair. With Smithwicks on tap, hubby started there and I picked the Michael Collins Martini, featuring Bailey's and vodka and butterscotch. A great selection of aps, we love crisps with beer cheese, and plenty to share for 2 or 4. With a slight chill in the air for Vegas, Sheppard's pie with ground beef hit the spot. The layer of potatoes is a little thicker than most, but plenty of filling as well. Hubby opted for the lamb and barley stew. Not as think as a traditional stew, more of a tomato based soup, but didn't matter it was amazing.

Ripped off by barman

By Jim S |

We headed down to 9 fine Irishmen late last night. A lot smaller than I remembered it being. Watch out for the barman, he conned me when I went to pay for a round. I handed him a $50 note and turned to talk to someone, he slapped a $20 note on the bar and shouted that I owed him $36.50. Doubted myself so handed over another $20. Checked the wallet and I had given him a $50 to begin with. F*cking raging!

Don’t eat here

By terry hall |

This is very overpriced for what you get. Then when you get it - the fries are soggy, and the whopper is terrible. Just not a good product at all. I would not eat here. It seems like a good place to maybe have a beer, but that’s it.

Delicious beet salad and shepherd's pie

By diswix |

Lively location on porch in shade. Beet salad with chicken delicious and good value. Shepherd's pie best meal here. Totally recommend

Excellent service

By MartyParty4 |

Great stop for lunch! The absolute best server. All recommendations spot on. Would return for another beer and fab food.

Far from Irish

By Alco |

This place is terrible , the grumpiest staff I have ever met. Ireland is associated with hospitality, this is most certainly lost on the staff. We popped in for a drink before a show in NYNY,we were grunted at by the bar man , pints slapped down on the counter , about 3/4 full and flat. A pint works out at approx $18. There were seven of us and we all felt the same way , we were not welcome. This is the furthest thing from an Irish bar you will ever come across. Atmospherically dead.

Photos added. Excellent Pork Chop Dinner

By NitroDog |

Located in New York-New York Hotel & Casino. My wife and I had a reservation for 8:30pm and were seated immediately. My wife ordered the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with added Salmon. She really enjoyed it. I had the Pork Chop Dinner on Mashed Potato's with Green Beans. Excellent! The service was great. Live band starts at 9pm nightly. Management should be very proud. It was so good, I will be returning next week.

Fine pub dining

By Sheldon G |

Very nice Irish pub experience.. Fine home cooked food .. Bread Pudding was authentic and delicious ❤️ Full bar complemented the interior decor 😃

Strange place

By ColCol1888 |

We went in a couple of times during our stay in NYNY, they closed early the first night due to a lack of customers, so went went back when the live entertainment was on and it was still lacking in customers, we were having a drink just before the entertainment started and the staff went around all the empty tables and placed reserved signs on them, we stayed long enough to realise that these seats weren’t reserved for anyone and seemed to be a way of keeping people out, no wonder the place was empty and if that wasn’t enough to keep people out, the women at the front with the angry face and poor attitude certainly would have.

Tight seating but great food.

By Gina J |

This was a nice Irish Pub. The Fish and Chips are great. The seating is tight and it seems like they try to get every table filled. We sat in a room where there was a table for four and then one for two. They sat a nice couple with us and even though it was very nice, we didn't feel like we could be ourselves with the company that was trying to have a nice little lunch, I'm sure they wanted alone. They have two floors which is nice, but they had a table right outside the elevators where people were getting on and off. There was no privacy at all. That is the only downside. The food was great.

PUKE

By susanne b |

This is the worst meal I have ever had. An insult to Irish cooking. Irish stew... Really, I am laughing. A few pieces of chewy lamb,a few veg and a watery puddle. I felt like walking into the kitchen and showing them how to do it. Plus...who serves Shepherd's Pie in a bucket. ??Disgusting. And Bangers and mash. Oh Dear. Even the Vlogger , Danny the Medic said the same thing. We should have asked for a refund. Hint for NIC get an Irish Chef.

Many photos added. Great dinner.

By NitroDog |

My wife and I had a 8:30pm reservation and were seated immediately. We started with the Beer & Cheese Dip Appetizer. It was good, but the bread was not as fresh as you would expect. We both ordered a New York Strip Steak. Both were cooked perfectly (Medium Well). The service was fantastic on this visit. The band started at 9pm and they were very good. I will return again very soon and management should be very proud (expect for the bread with the app). Photos added.

not hot

By harry c |

why is the food in the usa never hot? it was the same here, luke warm everything. we had already had to wait over half an hour for the meal, they offered to to it again but we told them to microwave them. initally they refused but eventally they did. the wifes ribeye was definately not what it appeared to be, lacked marbelling looked and tasted more like a sirloin.

Very Good

By Saoirse M |

We stopped in for a quick dinner before our show. We got a table on short notice and our dinner choices were delivered to us very quickly. It was very tasty and very reasonably priced. 10/10 from us.

Photos added. Another great visit. YUMMY!

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for dinner with a 8pm reservation and we were seated immediately. We both had an Iced Tea. We shared the wedge salad, Irish Nachos and the New York Steak. The service was fantastic. Our waiter recognized my Veterans MGM MVP card for a 10% discount. (Excellent). I will return very soon. Photos added.

Mark has the worst attitude in customer service I have ever come across!

By caroline |

The attitude of the bar staff was absolutely shocking!! Especially mark, shame on you! How you could work in hospitality is a wonder!!! Will not be back. Have never come across such rudeness ever!! Do not recommend. Go elsewhere on the strip as service anywhere is 100% better.

outdoor seating is great

By MIKE B |

we ate here twice and both time i had the fish fry. The second time i told the waitress to hold off on giving me fries. The fish was AWESOME AND A BIG ORDER ! Hot, fresh, perfect breading! Service is great too. They seated us right away and with the outdoor live music we could not have asked for better dinner selection or location!

Good food and beer

By Traveler3 |

We stopped to eat before seeing Mad Apple. We were seated quickly. A little slow to take orders and to checkup. Food was all good. Fish and chips were huge portions. The cod melted like butter and was perfectly cooked. Chairs at our table were not real comfortable.

Casual Lively night out!

By Diane Willis |

Loved the vibe here! Was casual and comfortable with Irish pub atmosphere. The food was good and the Irish beer was tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere and casual dining.

By Jonty52 |

Great Irish feel in the pub. Live music and a traditional Irish dancer. We all had the fish and chips. Huge portions. Our wives shared one portion. My friend and I had a portion each. Two large fish fillets in each portion. Very tasty. On the downside the Guinness and Carlsberg were poor. No life about the Carlsberg. Guinness was watery. Head disappeared after the first mouthful. Overall a great experience.

Good music, awful Guinness

By Alan M |

Staff were lovely, band was good, but the Guinness is awful…..sour as get out, though the locals don’t seem to notice too much lol

Great inside vibe but just okay food

By ScottRoby |

Located inside NY NY, it is really a charming pub when you walk in and you have great promise as to what is to come. However, we all agreed that the food was just okay and a little different than normal Irish pub food. The fish and chips were large in portion but on the oily side. The chicken pot pie was tomato based versus cream based. And the shepherds pie also had something different about it. I have been to many Irish pubs and it is one of my favorite kinds of places to eat. This one was not one of the better ones.

Superb place for this "real" Irish pub

By boss32 |

Knowing the incredible history of this Irish PUB we absolutely wanted to eat there........ Good idea! The interior decoration is extraordinary, it feels like we are in Dublin, all the period accessories are sublime, the frontage transports us there. The dishes are of the same ilk........ don't hesitate to choose the specialties they are very good. The staff is welcoming and friendly

Nice ambiance, good service, unauthentic Irish food!

By Peeteega |

Very nice interior, very good hostess and service staff, an d our Beer Cheese starter was very good. We were very disappointed that an authentic Black and Tan wasn't available due to the bar no longer carrying Bass Ale. It went down from there. Our food selection (all three of us ordered the same entree) was terrible. All of us are very familiar with Shepherd's (or Cottage) pie and their poor rendition was way off. The minced meat was immersed in a tomato sauce rather than typical gravy. There was minimal presence of veggies mixed in except chunks of uncooked potato. As mashed potatoes top the dish, the inclusion of potatoes in the meat portion was non only unnecessary but the hardness detracted even more from the dish. I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking basic, good quality, authentic Irish fare.

Great service and food at a reasonable cost!

By tom |

Our server (Stephanie) was great. She was friendly and helpful about the area. The food was all very good- Irish nachos app was a hit. My son said it was the best Philly Cheesesteak he’s ever had. My wife had the fish and chips which were crispy and flavorful. The fries tasted like fresh cut. I had the ribeye and garlic mashed. The steak was fairly thin but good flavor and pretty good for the price point. The garlic mashed were very strong on the garlic side but if you like garlic they’re right up your alley. I would definitely go again and recommend to others. Later in the night they also have live music.

Great food with the Irish vibes

By froney |

Great staff and live music was superb. I had the fish and chips which was made with haddock and was not greasy at all, and very tasty. We had steamer clams to start with and were amazing, and came with bread to dip in the wine sauce. Great place to eat in the New York New York hotel.

Great Irish pub

By LARRY C |

Incredible Fish n Chip - VERY large portion. The bread pudding - best I ever had. Fried pickles also a treat. Unique atmosphere.

Fish and chips just as good as I remembered.

By Wpwillie |

Both of us ordered the fish and chips. We ate there some 10 years ago and I thought it was the best fish and chips I have ever had. This time it was just as good as I remembered. If you have a light appetite you might wanna split the dish with someone else. We sit outside on the patio and it was just perfect.

No service at all

By Melvin W |

I thought I would go down to Nine Fine Irishmen for a couple pints of beer and listen to the house Irish band for a few and enjoy the beer. I arrived after the kitchen had closed and really only wanted a pint or two anyway. The bar was full so I asked the two young ladies at the front desk if I could have one of the little two person side tables. They said since the kitchen has closed they thought it would be ok...so I sat at one of the little tables and soon a server a big burly guy showed up and asked what I wanted to order. I told him I simply wanted a beer and he said if you only want beer you have to sit at the bar the tables were for food service only. Well the bar was full and the kitchen had already closed. So I really had no other choice but to leave. I guess the rude server didn't want my money or tips.

Save Room for Dessert

By Linda A |

Pretty sure it's impossible not to smile when enjoying Irish Music and Irish Foods..... Anything you order from their menu is delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Always need to save room for their lucious desserts.

Overpriced and cold food

By Richard W |

Good service from server and the member of staff who showed us to our table, via the lift. Food was average and mostly lukewarm. Explanation was that we were a large party (six!!!) and that the food came from downstairs. Very expensive for average food.

Enjoyed lunch

By angelskye30 |

We had a bogo coupon thanks to MGM My Vegas Slots. I ordered the philly and my husband ordered the fish and chips. His fish and chips was delicious and I ended up eating half of his because I did not like my sandwich. There was so much cheese mushrooms and onions (even though I ordered it without) and not a lot of meat. The beers were cold and the beer cheese was hot and delicious. Service was fantastic. I would go again and try something different.

Average Irish Coffee

By jordansbulls |

Went to NYNY to the Nine Fine Irishmen Pub for an Irish Coffee. It was ok for an Irish coffee definitely had better including mine.

Pass

By Lynn L |

We were excited to try some “traditional” Irish food. However, it was less than subpar. First, the hostess was so rude, “pre-checked us in” but forgot about us. So when I went T back to check on our reservations they deleted our reservation, but “got us in”. The BBQ wings were cooked to perfection. Very delicious. However, my lamb stew was chewy, over cooked and every veggie was very mushy. Now, I know when you “stew” things you won’t have the crunch, however, it was so gross. I was highly disappointed. My husband’s rib eye was cooked to medium and was dry and leathery, however the garlic mashed were delicious. For the price, and location I expected more from the food.

Great food in NYNY casino

By John D |

Irish pub inside NYNY, ice cold beer and great food, fish and chis are delicious , sat at the bar and had excellent service service from Gerard. will return, great time

Somewhat disappointed!

By tmcb53 |

I saw several recommendations for this restaurant on the Las Vegas sites I follow on FB. Since we were staying at NYNY, I suggested we have dinner one evening. The pints were cold and refreshing. The fish and chips was a huge serving and looked pretty tasty. My friend and I ordered the corned beef sandwich as we are always searching for the perfect rueben styled sandwiches. We were both disappointed. The main issue was that the meat was tough and a little too fatty for our tastes. We had better corned beef rueben sandwiches at the Greenberg's Deli, also on property.

Great food

By Robert L |

I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much in the way of food but this place was an outstanding place to go for a drink and great food, seriously great food. The braised short rib with it Guinness gravy was just magic. Everything we had there was fantastic and staff is great and friendly. If you're staying in the area its a great place to grab a bite. Food is always expensive in Vegas but we paid $129 which wasn't terrible for what we all had. Solid place, check it out

Pub food

Do try this

By stitcher1951 |

We ordered the fish and chips and cheese dip with assorted breads. It was a lot of food and we split the fish and chips!! The fish breading was crispy and not oily at all. I posted a picture so you can see how big the fillets are. The cheese spread was very good and it came with a variety of breads. I liked their tarter sauce but i didnt care for the cole slaw. I like cole slaw to have just a little tang to it. This didnt I cant stop without mentioning what a wonderful server we had! Her name was Celeste and she was friendly and efficient!! They are lucky to have such a great server❤️ We will dine here again

Great Irish meal with friends

Hanging out in NewYork New York Casino innLas Vegas you should give this restaurant/pub a try. Guinness and meatloaf was a great way to start off our vacation

An affordable Vegas restaurant?

By wicomet |

If you’re looking for a solid place to get an affordable dinner on the strip, hit this Irish pub up. They offer your traditional Irish fare, and the ambience is classic.

Cute little pub inside New York New York hotel with great food!

By Stephanie D |

My husband and I had lunch here recently and it was excellent. We both ordered the fish and chips, and they were very tasty. Personally, I didn't care for the slaw as I thought it was lacking spices, but my husband enjoyed it. The fish/haddock was super flaky, and the batter was just perfect. The French fries were similar to a steak fry, and the outside was perfectly crunchy. Our server was very friendly, and the food was brought out promptly. The atmosphere is adorable and definitely reminds me of a pub we ate at in Ireland.

Good food, average service, no atmosphere

By NickiP1970 |

Expected a warm welcome as had read reviews. Visited on our last night visiting New York New York hotel in Vegas from Belfast. Can’t fault the food, if anything the portions were too big especially the fish and chips. It was our most expensive meal of our trip but there was no atmosphere, no warm greetings and staff were average! Wouldn’t return tbh because of the staff and lack of atmosphere

Excellent and Authentic!

By R7638PSchrisk |

We reserved a table for 2pm but arrived early. They kindly led us to a table early, and we ordered my favorite drink from when I lived in England. I’ve been trying to find a place that could recreate my snakebite with blackcurrant, and finally found the place!! It brought me back in time and was the highlight of this time in Vegas. We also ordered Colcannon soup and onion rings, plus Shepherd’s pie. All were wonderful! I will count Nine Fine Irishman as a staple whenever we return- even worth the parking expense. Our server was amazing, the ambiance was authentic and our experience was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Great food

Lunch before leaving for the airport and omg it did no disappoint, we both had fish and chips all it lacked was mushy peas

The best meal and waitress in Vegas

By jefflL8073NJ |

Decided after many Vegas trips to eat there… and it was my birthday. I will tell you all I had the best service, best waitress, and a most memorable birthday meal. The food was fantastic! We were assisted by the best waitress in Vegas or the US for that matter! When she found out it was my birthday, she smiled and said desert was on her! She flattered me so much!! And my special wish did come true!…..

Won’t be returning

By sdoll |

The service was good but it was the worse meal we have had in Las Vegas. We both had Irish lamb stew. This was served in a small pail and was more like having soup than a main meal. We were given spoons to eat it with. It was unauthentic with a tomato base and the lamb itself was tough. The carrot cake was horrible with hard bits in it. The bread and butter pudding was super sweet and was a huge portion size which was off putting. We won’t be back.

Excellent meal

By Nicole A |

We stayed at New York New York and loved the atmosphere. This restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere and great live music. Portion sizes were large and food was hot! Lots to choose from and overall a great meal.

Excellent food and great Service

By jacktena |

Dined on the patio last week and food was excellent. Recommend the catch of the day, and the cheesesteak. Both our meals were excellent and our server Tracy was excellent. So friendly and kind. The bread pudding dessert was huge, enough for multiple people to share. One of the best meals in Vegas while we were there.

I had a great fish and chips dinner here. The haddock was outstanding, among the best ever with a light but perfectly cooked and crisp coating that kept the fish moist and tender. The fries were just OK, but the fish and the tartar sauce were truly wonderful.

Always eat here each and every time we go to Vegas.

By Wklstoywife |

We always eat here when we go to Vegas. I love their colcannon soup and I get it each and every time we are here. My daughter had a beet salad and the fish and chips which we split…thank goodness, so much food. Her boyfriend had the cheesesteak sandwich with a salad. Daughter and I each had a drink…an Irish old fashioned and she had a stone wall sour. Our bill for 3 people was 106.00 before tax. Love the restaurant but too much food for us but we will continue to stop every time we are in Vegas.

Traditional Irish Pub on the Strip

By John H |

We stumbled upon this pub as we were walking by New York New York and decided to check it out as we love Irish pubs. This place did not disappoint. Great atmosphere with a truly Irish pub feel and food and drinks to match. Prices were appropriate for being on the strip for both food and drink, and the staff was very friendly. Our first night, we had a few drinks and tried some dishes from the traditional Irish menu. I had a lamb stew type of entree that was wonderful. The next night we had to come back as they have a few drinks on tap that are hard to find outside of pubs like this. Each night, they have an Irish style band playing and overall just had a great atmosphere to be at.

Good eats!

Corned beef sandwich most excellent. My husband loved the Shepherd's Pie. Beer delicious! Cool atmosphere. Don't get excited about prices because it is LV.

Poor Guinness and plain cheap glasses

By Jasperyido |

Quite quiet at bar but the very big bar man chose who he wanted serve and was very miserable , I love Americans because they always give you a nice welcome with a smile but this guy looked as if he was chewing 10 wasps, the Stella was flat and I’m a guiness connoisseur and for $14 dollors a Guinness I’m sorry it was not rich and creamy and as it should stick to the glass as u drink it, it didn’t , super disappointed and won’t be returning to this place

Excellent Food - Beware of myVEGAS conditions

By Rob H |

In 20 years in coming to Vegas, this was my first trip to NFI. I had the chicken curry which was among the best I've ever had. Friends and I were there and tried to use myVEGAs coupons. Beware of their rule only allowing one coupon per table. I can understand the potential abuse, but if you have four people and two coupons from two different MGM Rewards accounts, then both coupons should be allowed at the same table. The restaurant ended up splitting up our group and putting two people at two tables for four in different areas of the restaurant so we couldn't eat together. They could have easily seated another party if they'd just put us together and allowed the two coupons. A terrible rule that should be revisited for specific circumstances.

Good Irish Bar

Went here just for drinks. Nice enough Irish Bar. Worth a visit if in the New York, New York for a pint of Guinness.

Manners cost Nothing!!

By PLS |

We did not get off to a good start with this restaurant due to the most miserable rude waitress I have ever met! We stayed because we had a BOGOF voucher and it expired that day. We wanted to use it as Las Vegas has got so expensive for everything. The food was okay but I thought another Irish pub not that far away was 100% better (see separate review) Despite the fact that we were treated poorly we left a decent tip as maybe the waitress has problems we dont know about.

Many Photos added. Excellent Food and Service

Located in New York-New York. My wife and I made a reservation at 8:30pm and were seated immediately. We shared the Beer & Cheese Dip and the New York Strip Steak. The food and service were excellent on this visit and I will return again soon. Many photos added.

Service Improved

Went to NFI again this year for dinner during our Vegas trip. The shepherd's pie and bangers & mash keep bringing us back. Service much better this year. One thing they may want to consider.....serving bread with their meals like they do in Ireland.

After gaming in NY NY, we found this spot. Sat at the bar. Quick service and good food. The staff was interactive and friendly.

The most un-Irish bar experience you can get, terrible bar man

By perrycurtis2 |

This place is a beautiful Irish mock up bar that looks like something straight out of Dublin. Unfortunately the big fella behind the bar was so rude from the start it ruined the experience entirely, he was so cocky and rude he made us feel really unwelcome. In the end I left my position at the bar to walk down the other end to use a different barman because he was so rude. It was obvious he was trying to ignore us and then he started shouting down saying he couldn't hear me when he realized id gone down the other end to get drinks. If he doesn't like his job he should do something else not ruin peoples nights.

Good Craic

The craic was amazing as well as the food and band playing. Our waitress was really friendly and pleasant, looked after us brilliantly. The Guinness was just what the doctor ordered

Our favorite lunch spot on Strip

By LacrosseTraveller |

Stopped in at our favorite lunch spot on Strip and once again had a fine time. Greeted by a lovely woman who called my wife and I “dears”. Very charming. Then of course a couple of cold drafts. My wife had the chicken pot pie which was amazing. Light pastry covering that came off in one piece, all the better to dip. And the chicken and veggies in cream were rich and delicious. I had the fish and chips and they were beautifully seasoned and perfectly battered. A little wine vinegar and I was in heaven. Just a relaxing great way to sit comfortably in their nice chairs, kick back and enjoy the afternoon. Will always be back.

Great for a casual night out.

We had a large family dinner here that was arranged by the manager and fulfilled all of our expectations. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the band was great.

Great pub

A great pub with good choice of whisky beers and Irish dishes. Well executed. Pleasant environment, fast and courteous service. A plus live music. Good bill by Vegas standards

Avoid at all cost

By Rob S |

Hard pass! Go anywhere else. We ate dinner here a couple years ago and it was pretty good. Today stopped in for a cold drink and a bite in the afternoon and felt like we were burdening the staff, from hostess to bartender. They couldn't have been less interested in providing a welcoming atmosphere. I seriously thought they might make me bus my own table, and do my own dishes. MGM, you can do better. This place has provided the absolutely bottom of the barrel experience for our week long visit. Scratch that. You'd have to look under the barrel to find this experience.

Great Food n Service

By Denise |

Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Due to long check in time at our other hotel, we had to change our reservation and they were great about it. We arrived and got our MGM cards and loaded a My Vegas Reward on it before eating. We enjoyed some fried pickles, onion rings, a burger and steak dinner: the garlic mashed potatoes were amazing

Great 'Traditional' Chicken Curry

By Don Hummer Jr |

Stopped here for dinner after meeting two other co-workers after landing in Vegas before a conference. Place looked great from the outside, and the inside had the feeling of an Irish pub (bigger of course since it's Vegas and needs to seat more than 20 people). Sat down, served right away (the waitress was great!), dinner was very good across the table, we all had different dishes and quite happy, and the bill came quickly when we asked for it. Food was better than I thought, plenty of large screen tvs to watch different games which was nice.

Great Fish and Chips

By GerryBaron06 |

We stopped here because my partner was thinking about getting a burger. She had eaten at an Irish restaurant which had a good burger so she figured we could not go wrong here. The interior was reminiscent of Irish bars except that they did not have the agedness of an authentic Irish bar. Most of the tables were high-tops which we do not like. We were seated at a table in a nook. Unfortunately, all the tables with a view to the TV were high-tops in the bar area, and we were not able to watch a football game while we dined. The nook was stuffy and our server opened the wooden doors that looked out onto a walkway leading out of the New York New York hotel. I had the Colcannon Soup as a starter, and we both had the Fish and Chips as the main. This was my first time trying it. It was very creamy and full of flavorful. The Fish and Chips came with two massive pieces of battered and fried haddock that were delicious. We were overwhelmed by the size of the meal and couldn't finish it. Our server, Cory, was excellent. It turns out that he is from a town near Galway where the company I work for is headquartered. He made good recommendations and made the experience pleasant.
