Never disappointed

By roma2srs |

My granddaughter was visiting and we went for dinner. When I called to make a reservation I was never informed of the new location so when I went to the old place and found a sign on the door I was really upset but we finally found it. We ordered some of our go to items, the spinach salad and the crying baby tiger and they were very good. A new addition which we will be ordering going forward was the garlic rice which was fantastic. Love to go there and try new things each time.

This secret should be shared!

By David G |

Recently we visited Nittaya's Secret Kitchen located at Lake Meade and Rampart in Summerlin. It it a cozy, very elegant and surprisingly inexpensive Thai restaurant that completely out-classes its location tucked into a typical strip mall. We started with the tempura spinach and shared the basil chicken and curried cat fish. This was one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed in Las Vegas and the bill (no drinks, the bar only serves wine and beer) was less than 60 bucks! Trust me, you will not get a better meal at one of the over-blown celebrity joints on The Strip!

Delicious

This is a gourmet restaurant that has great specialties. The spinach salad is a must try. It has deep fried spinach leaves served with a tasty dip! All items are freshly prepared and flavorful. I recommend their soups!

Unbalanced Knock off Thai and a Lying Owner

By Amanda P |

Please read 2 and 1 star reviews on yelp. Very salty very unbalanced and unattentive waitstaff. Not fine dinning. Not authentic Thai food. When I previous wrote an honest review of this resturant the business owner lied and said that they had asked me to leave as a response. Complete and utter Lie! I wasnt rude at all and I was Never asked to leave. They didnt even know I was writing a review on site! The owners response to my detailed review was Lying and saying I was asked to leave when I clearly was not even talked to much less asked to leave Thats crazy! How about take accountability for your over priced tourist food and start making authentic Thai cuisine instead with excellent customer service. If this woman is so quick to Lie as a quick response what else is she capable of lying about? Bad Business we dont need dishonesty in our local resturant scene thats scary!

Very pleasant small restaurant.

By Eugene K |

This was a very nice restaurant. Note that it is tiny. So you must make reservations. The food was very fresh and very tasty. I love Thai food, and having taken Thai cooking class in Thailand, I have a very high standard for Thai food. Nittaya's met my standard. I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic Thai Food

By Robert R |

We stopped here for lunch and sampled the lunch specials. This place is more upscale than its strip mall location would suggest, and the food is even better than the upscale interior. It should be no secret -- this place serves delicious Asian cuisine.

Nice small intimate ambiance with great food and not a chain!

By dog0921 |

Nittaya's is a treat as its in the "neighborhood", has a warm comfy inviting ambiance, is locally owned(which is a search in Las Vegas and I like to support) and the cuisine/menu is varied, healthy, dependably good. I personally think it a little pricey especially for certain dishes and the portion size but everything else makes up for that. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed. Love the garlic rice, secret dumplings, panang curry dishes, eggplant dish and the special spinach "salad".

Great Food

By 1BrownEyedGirl |

Lovely spices that blended well with the food. Nice choices and excellent service. OT is a nice intimate place and on Thursday half price bottles of wine.

Great Food

The food and service was excellent, we went there for lunch , they have a good menu and reasonable prices.

Great food

Easy to get to. Really good authentic Thai food. Off the beaten path. Intimate setting great for couples and friends. Mediate priced. I'll be going back.

Has Competition

By John A |

Met here with a group. Having checked the menu on-line I was surprised to find their pineapple fried rice was not available as was shown. Did order a variant, but wouldn't again. This came inside half a pineapple shell. Cute. In general, most in the group thought their selection was good. The biggest issue was the staff. Friendly enough but not that efficient. We had all finished when we had to flag a waitress to point out that one in the party had never received his meal. Lots of Thai options here and they will have to step up to compete

For those who eat light...

"Grazing" is a popular dining approach and Nittaya's Secret Kitchen makes it so easy. Tapas-like plates to be shared, full of flavor and variety. The 'veg' folks will find it suitable. Cool clientele as well...

Tasty treat for your taste buds. Vegan friendly!

By 1Graywolf |

Clean tasty food. Spinach is to die for. They can do everything vegan. The pit stickers in a balsamic reduction are very tasty. The pad thai was not one of my favs but I tried anyway. Not bad. Easy to find. Great service and quiet atmosphere make this a romantic date.

Best Thai Food I Have Ever Tasted!

By Jason M |

My good friend's neighbor is the owner and we tried Nittaya's for lunch not knowing what to expect. Boy were we pleasantly surprised and pleased! The food, service, and atmosphere is amazing! I have been back many times since and no longer go to Archies. Everything is delicious and the desserts are incredible! Can't wait to go back!

Thai Food for Dinner

By johnc_ong |

Went here to try some Thai food since the reviews looked promising and I was nearby. With over 1100 reviews, it definitely looked worth a try! Pricing: Above average with dishes ranging from the mid-teens to the high 20s. With the pad see ew and yellow curry we got that day, the serving sizes were pretty decent and somewhat makes a case for the higher than average entree price Food: You can customize the spiciness of your food from 1-5 if you choose. Both of my dishes, the pad see ew and yellow curry, were great! The pad see ew was the best I've had in Las Vegas with the seasoning on point, the noodles cooked perfectly with each noodle separate and not stuck to one another. The underrated part of the dish, the Chinese broccoli was also cooked very well and did not have a bitterness to it like I have experienced with some places. The yellow curry was also very good. The consistency of the curry was perfect, not too thick and not too watery. The curry itself was very flavorful, and the other items in the curry itself was cooked well and complimented the meat and rice very well. Service: The service was good. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time after ordering, we were checked up on periodically throughout our meal to make sure everything was to our liking, and our waters never ran out. Overall: Although a bit on the pricier end, I would come back. The food was really good and worth trying. They have a lot of tapas along with normal entrees on their menu that we didn't get the opportunity to try, but could be worth it next time. If you know you're going to come ahead of time, might be worth calling for a reservation just to make sure you can get a seat. If you want a great Thai food experience, Nittaya's Secret Kitchen is worth a try.

We shall return!

What a find. We decided to stop by while running errands and we are so glad we did. We went on a Monday and it wasn't crowded, not sure what it would be like on weekends. The service was Excellent. Our waitress and the bus staff were attentive without being a nuisance. Our drinks were never empty and dirty dishes were picked up timely. Now the food.... they offer tapas, starters, currys and Thai entrees. We started with the spinach salad, which is spinach tempura with an amazing sauce on the side. The spinach has the lightest tempura batter on it. The portion is huge and up to 4 could easily share it, but I wouldn't recommend it because it is so good. We also split the corn fritters, which were also very good. My husband had the seafood curry, which was a very generous serving and delicious. I had the crispy catfish, which was amazing. Although they have a dessert menu, there was no way to eat any more. We can't wait to eat here again.

Worst Thai Food Ever

By hitzey |

Worst Thai food ever. We read such good reviews about this place and were excited to try it. We started with 2 appetizers, secret stickers and volcano shrimp. The secret stickers were hard and terrible. The volcano shrimp were actually awesome and was the best dish we had there. They were very flavorful and spicy. We ordered 3 staple Thai dishes, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and a Red Curry dish. All of which were terrible. All dishes lacked taste and were bland. Absolutely the worst Thai restaurant we ever ate at. We have been to many Thai restaurants over the years. Lotus is Siam is definitely the best in Vegas if not the best all around. I would not recommend to try this restaurant. We were shocked with the high ratings and how bad the food was. This restaurant is not a good example of how good Thai food can be.

Nittayas Lunch Specials

By BaldEagleMorrow |

We moved to Las Vegas a couple of years ago and neighbors suggested Nittayas Secret Kitchen as an exceptional Thai dining experience... We went for dinner and lunch on separate occasions.....to summarize..."we were blown away".. Our lunch began with complimentary fruit/vegetable infused water, a freshly made pot sticker and then selection of 1 of 8 wonderfully prepared entrees, unlike any other Thai experience we've had...Nittayas traditional Pad Thai achieves a gastronmic experience you must have...no brag, just fact...do it...

Amazing food and service -5 stars not enough

By MooreVegasFood |

Nittaya’s has a super quaint environment eith old rustic wine cellar feels. The servers are so sweet and welcoming and service your needs quickly. The crab rolls and crab wontons are among some of my favorite appetizers. The drunken noodles and basil chicken are super yummy as well. We topped it off with the bread pudding that was so amazing!! You can’t go wrong ordering anything from here. BEST Thai recipes in vegas - hands down.

Best Thai bar none!

By Lillian R |

Who would have thought that you could find outstanding Thai food next door to a doggie bakery in suburban Las Vegas. (Yes, LV has suburbs.) At the SE corner of Rampart and Lake Mead, walk into Nittanya's and you will see a cozy, well appointed dining room with another room next to it. (There is limited outdoor seating.) We were greeted and seated warmly and promptly. Lunch specials are $11. Vegan/vegetarian options. I had Drunken noodles with tofu and baby broccoli, heat level 7. Perfectly seasoned and not greasy. My friend had the fried rice with REAL crab meat. I can't wait to get back to try the curries and some of the appetizers. Seek out this place. You will not be disappointed. P.S. Next door is a fine olive oil and vinegar store called Big Horn. Check that out too.

Fantastic taste.

By Eddie H |

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Make sure you make reservations. Food is bountiful for the price. The staff was extremely friendly. I highly recommend the lettuce wraps and the shrimp pad thai.

Up scale Thai

By Bill H |

Quality Thai meals in a place a bit nicer than the average. Drunken noodles were super. Service much better than average. Higher priced than most. Biggest negative is tight seating and acoustics.

Not all that great

By David B |

Friends recommend this restaurant. The ambiance was fine and there were a few items and on the menu that one doesn't usually see on the menu of most Thai restaurants. Among the dishes ordered was massaman curry. It was actually bland. There were 3 of us, so we ordered another Thai restaurant staple: coconut soup. We ordered the large size tureen. It was OK and barely OK. What was not OK was that the serving was barely enough to fill individual bowls 1/2 full, plus the soup was lukewarm. What I think is happening here is that this restaurant has a "trendy" feel, and is patronized by people who have little experience with Thai cuisine. So, in a word, Nittaya's is a typical Thai place that was able to convince patrons that it's "a cut above."

2nd time ... Just as fine!!

By Flat Stanley explores the World |

We came here 2 1/2 years ago for Easter since then ive been around the world again and back for more .. This time for my wife's birthday ajd this time with my young adult children. Wow! The memories came back as we reviewed the menu. This place really is a hidden pleasure as its name suggests. Thai at its best. Josh B was the bar tender but since no one waa there I asked if he could wait on us... And he did. Wow he was all over it with suggestions. He said he must have been there last time we visited. We worked with his suggestions to try a mix of what we knew and some new items. The JLohr Cab was their least expensive but id the best on the list (trust me .. Again I've been around the world many times). We atarted with some tapas: Chicken lettuce wraps (yummy!) Charred Shishito 🌶. Not bad but won't get again, Spinach Salad (it's not what it sounds like...tempura spinach with to die for sauce). Secret Stickers (tiny but DELISH!), For mains I had (once again) the Drunk Noodles... Great!! We plot everything the staff humored our efforts with extra plates. We shared chicken ginger salad, Green Chicken Curry, Kao Soi noodles (heavenly!) Mind you it was a Monday and id made reservations. Had a perfect table in the corner by the bar. Again ask for Josh and dont let them tell you he doesn't wait tables. My wife proclaimed this is her favorite in Las Vegas. (She's been around the world also! ;) .. Good thing I picked right for her birthday. Price was steep.. See my receipt. But I paid it with a smile.... Albeit disappointed no mil discount that just goes against Nittaya. But she was cooking tonight so I guess that makes up for it.

Hidden Gem near Summerlin

By Dawn G |

I live here locally but love to find neighborhood eatery's while traveling. Nittaya's is a quaint, small, romantic restaurant with significant ambiance. I'm watching my gluten and dairy intake and found scrumptious dishes here made to my specifications. Who knew that I could still eat Thai food served without my allergens. So, if you're up for something nice, that's off the strip, try Nittaya's. To avoid a long wait, reservations are recommended.

I thought I knew good Thai food, now I’m spoiled!

By wendy w |

A eye for a unique dining experience with the most delicious takes on traditional and reimagined dishes that I have ever had. Exceptional service and attention to diner experience. Ideal for a multigenerational family evening or a night out with pals. Definitely made me feel like I was on vacation more than just a few hundred miles from my backyard. Strongly recommend the catfish dishes, the spinach “salad” and the fish bouillabaisse. Nice wine list and great cocktails too.

Tried something new and LOVED it! Expensive drink menu

By FarmGirlAL |

Great time and would return! Amazing food with lovely presentation! The desserts are dilicious. Quaint place, great atomsphere

Great Thai food

By Mark S |

This is a must do if you like Thai food. It's away from the strip and everything I've ever had is delicious.

Superb food

By Brandon H |

Enjoyed this restaurant fully. The chicken curry is fantastic with just enough rice. The pad Thai chicken was a great meal as well according to my wife. This is an off the path treat I would highly recommend

Dinner was great

By lovingsomeyoga |

The food was great, the service was perfect and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend this place to couples, groups, and families.

Lunch with the family

By Hendersoned |

I highly recommend this place I have eaten here a few times. the ambience is nice the food is outstanding there's many non-traditional Thai things on the menu. (Not the same old pad Thai) We had red curry, chicken satay (wow!) cilantro beef skewers (spicy!) pot stickers (perfect) Bangkok fried rice (inventive And tasty) and white rice (white and ricey). Closer to two $$ than $$$, weekday lunch special is a great deal. Love it!!!

No hype. Get your plussed up Thai on at a place quickly becoming no secret

By Flat Stanley explores the World |

We live in the area. My wife had had an interest in this place for at least a year.. whether local or tourist you will remember the first time you dropped in. The cost may be prohibitive for some but I found it commensurate with its quality and service. We dropped in fairly early (6pm) and walked right in without reservations. I've spent time in Thailand and eaten at world famous restaurants around the area. My wife got enamored with the tapas slogan and the thai. What the heck is that ? I find all the reviews on point. I tired the salmon green curray, as suggested. Spinach "salad" is as advertised, the primo.

Great meal- worth going off the strip

By WVUFAN1 |

Took a client out to dinner and he picked this restaurant. One of the best meals I have ever had in Las Vegas. The pork belly appetizer was exceptional. Great drink choices also. Only thing they will eventually need here is more space as it is apparently not as "Secret" of a place anymore! Thumbs up.

Early Dinner

By Natnan3 |

Amazing food. Cozy atmosphere. Great service. Small tapas with unique flavors. Reasonable pricing on great entrees. Don’t forget to save room for dessert like mango with sweet sticky rice. Well worth a trip away from the usual places.

Yummy Thai Food

By lamitam2017 |

Delicious food, great service. Make sure to make reservations, it gets very busy during dinner hours.

AMAZING FOOD

By 121lela54 |

This isn't your every day Thai restaurant. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and and food all has a little different twist to it. Try the deep fried spinach chips which were so incredibly different and delicious. They will spice up any dish to your liking. The curry dishes were awesome as well.

Good curries

By NetteNorway |

This was quite a drive out from the strip and we half regretted making it on the way out, but once there we were very happy. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but just simply good thaifood. We all had different curries, and they were all great. Worth the 25 min drive? I don’t know.

Not that good, and really poor service

By Jeffrey St Charles |

This is a very disorganized, sloppy restaurant. Most food was disappointing, thought the cashew shrimp was pretty good. The address listed is wring, not updated to the new nearby location. I think the happy hour offerings with big discounts on wine and drinks could bring me back. The food, not so much. And def not the service. Go to nearby Pin-Kaow instead for better tasting Thai food.

Top of my list

By LVagabond2014 |

Delicious and beautifully plated dishes. Loved(!) the edible flower. Excellent service: special thanks to "Poom" and her assistant for looking after our table (party of ten). Modern, upscale decor is very appealing. Seats, a bit too soft, but not a big deal once settled in. Overall very clean, including restrooms. As the other reviewer noted, indeed, this is a small place. We had to shimmie our way around, but we didn't mind it so much since we sat at our table a good deal of the time, and provided for a more intimate setting. Our wine (Cannonball) was good, but at $30/bottle, it was a bit steep for us. Still, that didn't ruin our evening, and we would love to return and try their other dishes.

Delicious hidden gem!

By pgfoodie |

We tried this restaurant for dinner tonight for the first time....and so happy to say it was delicious!! Our waitress was Leah and we asked for recommendations. She nailed it.....the spinach salad (not) was my favorite. It was their version of chips and dip. It was on the tapas menu and I'll be back to have it again. We also had the corn fritters and garlic spare ribs and all was yummy.

Eating out at Nittaya's Secret Kitchen

By flashdogg99 |

This restaurant is small in size but packs the people in. The food selections are very high quality but the portion size is moderate. There is a large authentic Thai food and wine selection. The prices are moderately high and there is usually a wait to get in unless you go early.

Excellent food and service

By NitroDog |

My family dined here for a late lunch on Sunday. Excellent food and service. We started with appetizers. Yum! I had a shrimp and veggie dish and the others had a tofu dish and a cornish game hen dinner. We finished the meal with two great desserts. I forgot my camera, so no photos of this visit. I will return.

Awesome.. hidden gem

Pre-Valentines dinner

By Cassi W |

What a great find!! How could this delicious little gem have been hidden from us?? We are so lucky we found it!! Everything: delicious. But here are the details: tempura spinach salad a must. Volcano shrimp, sweet and spicy. The avocado salmon was my favorite. This food is like art... A masterpiece the drunken noodles so tasty. I think we ordered a little too much, because we were so full but wanted to keep eating!! Dessert didn't happen, but we will plan for it next time. Can't wait to come back!!

One of the best around

By Bbklaf |

This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at (and I'm including Koh Samui in Thailand!) In addition to offering many small plates, I would say the menu includes a number of dishes that are sort of a "fusion" of Western or other styles with Thai cooking. Our favorite is the kale salad where the leaves are lightly battered and fried tempura style and then served with an amazing dipping sauce. The golden packets are another starter that should not be missed. While the prices are a bit on the high side, the value is still there and the food is memorable. Highly recommended.

The secret is getting out!

By KimG |

When I️ started eating here first not many people knew about Nittayas. The ambience is perfect, low lighting, quaint cozy atmosphere. The food is fantastic. The avocado salmon curry is a must to try. I️ also REALLY like the beef citrus salad they have. NOTE: you can order double meat for a little extra. Prices are good considering it’s more of a speciality type restaurant. Highly recommended

Great Surprise !!!

By Cashews_12 |

So glad we "Were let in on" this SECRET. Great ambience and a top notch, friendly, professional staff compliment the creative cuisine we enjoyed at this bistro. Nice to have this level of dining in Summerlin and at a reasonable price. You must try the spinach tempura. "Delicious" was the comment from all in our party as we tried several well prepared and artfully presented dishes. Can't wait to return.

Thai it up at the Kitchen!

By SUSAN T |

Courteous servers can tell you what's in the tasty dishes, which arrive at the table promptly. Perfect Thai tea. Corn fritters (unusual choice) were very good with a light sauce. Ate too much, such a treat to find authentic Thai food on the west side.

Top lunch venue

By Pete C |

This was a treat, waiting for an appointment and was early, $11 for standard lunch, rice with chicken and ginger, lots of shiitake mushrooms, yummy.

Flavor explosion!

By idahomvp |

First visit today. Order 3 appetizers plus 3 main dishes. All were wonderful, very attentive staff, and one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Small, cozy, a little gem. Must try when in Summerlin.

Great food, fair prices

By Tim T |

The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The menu is diverse and gives you many different takes on standard dishes. The service is a little slow but that may be intentional since everything there is low key. Still when I wanted to pay I had to wait a while to get the bill. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Do go when you have a little extra time, the food is well worth it.

Won't spread the secret.

By Cathi M |

My sisters and I were excited to visit Nittaya's restaraunt last week. We had heard wonderful things about the food. There are only a few tables and the atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress was kind but the service was not that great. We waited a long time for our drinks and food. When the food came, it was one thing here, one thing 5 minutes later and so on. The food was good but not great. My bill alone was close to $50.00 and I did not drink. If I am going to spend that kind of money, I will spend it at Joes Stone Crab or somewhere where I know the food is outstanding. Won't go back.

Very Good Thai food

By Neil S |

Visited Nittaya Kitchen. Had the tapas portions between 3 of us and it was very good. We had in total 7 dishes which were very good.Reservations are a must as it gets full quickly. Would recommend this restaurant.

Lunch with the family

This is very close to home, I love this place the food is outstanding it's a small cozy restaurant make a reservation if you're coming for dinner it does not have a lot of tables the service is very good the food is outstanding.

Decent, but overpriced for its quality

By Michael U |

Sharing a city with one of the most highly acclaimed Thai restaurants in the United States cannot be easy, but compared with Lotus of Siam’s largely traditional menu Chef Nittaya Parawong and her Secret Kitchen have been successfully doing things different since 2010. Small, intimate and innovative with a style described as “Thai Tapas,” think small plate Appetizers adjacent traditional Curries and Noodles, it was as take-out that eight items were selected on Wednesday alongside iced Thai Tea and Coffee. Opting for spice level 3 of 5 across the order, relatively bland “E-Saan” Sausage and tough “Beef Jerky” exempt, Nittaya’s “World Famous” Spinach Salad remains impeccably light yet vegetal without a hint of oil even before adding Citrus Dressing. Raised in Restaurants overseas, both the Drunken Noodles and “Pad Z-EW” springy with bold yet balanced spice, Nittaya’s Curries run the gamut with a choice of Proteins including Duck with Pineapple and Peppers or particularly nutty Panang. Opting for shareable Desserts, though tempted by Pineapple Bread Pudding, sticky Rice hits all the right notes thanks to its smooth texture and Pandan glaze plus creamy and sweet Sauce.

Overpriced average Thai food

By Fred T |

Four of use went out for lunch to celebrate two birthdays. My wife had tapas and wished that they were half as much food for half the price. I had a green curry and it was just so-so. The other couple complained about the salt level in their dishes. We all found the prices of $18 to $25 per dish to be expensive; the tapas were $8 to $11 each. Service was OK.

Nittaya's ia a Secret Delight!

By juliepsheridan |

The Secret Kitchen is all about secret family recipes from Thailand. The restaurant offers Asian cuisine served tapa's style and a regular Thai menu. The restaurant serves beer and wine. The service is outstanding an very attentive. The desert menu is delightful. Try the old style rice pudding. This is one of the BEST Thai restaurants in the Las Vegas area. I know I am hooked. They do have carry out service. The restaurant is small, clean and very romantic. I suggest you make a reservation on the weekend. Absolutely marvelous!

Yum!

By Hoai My W |

I'm not one to fall into the trap of trendy restaurants. However after hearing much ado about this place I went. I ordered papaya salad, deep fried spinach appetizer, and pad Thai. There were three of us there for lunch who we ate it all and probably could've gorge ourselves on more. The free water that is served with our meal was infused with various fruits which compliments the meal perfectly. This is my new favorite guilty pleasure despite it being trendy.

Great Thai Food!

By Robert R |

This place is a real gem, featuring great food and attentive service in a comfortable atmosphere for reasonable prices. We showed up for an early Thursday night dinner and scored the last available table. The place remained packed the whole time we were there. It may be time to rename the restaurant to "Nittaya's Kitchen".

Fantastic Thai!

By Fulhouse |

Some of the best Thai food we have had! Super flavorful and beautifully plated. Don’t miss the “spinach salad” appetizer...crispy fried spinach leaves with a tangy “salad dressing” dipping sauce!

Unique Thai dining experience!

By Drlstewart |

Everyone who knows me knows I am a Thai food junkie. Thai food has become so popular but so many of them leave you feeling underwhelmed either by the ambiance, service or the quality of the food. Nittaya's is on par for all these things! First and most importantly the food quality is beyond imaginable. When someone really invests their time and heart into the dish, you can't help but enjoy it! The presentation, freshness, and flavor of each dish is superb! The ambiance is so unique, you'll not find another experience like it. The setting is in a quaint space, with a relaxing, beautiful earthy and rich interior and always a great playlist going in the background. I come here alone for lunch, with a date or with a group of friends and it always just feels perfect. And to add to the great food and ambiance, you have to appreciate the standard from the owner that all the staff provide a pleasant experience for their guests. The staff are usually the same people and they are all so very genuine, accommodating and knowledgable. The bartenders are always great and the bar seating is a nice place I like to have lunch when I'm solo. Everyone I've taken here has had a great experience! If you love Thai food and dining in general, you won't regret trying this place! Tip: Call ahead for reservations especially on the weekends or Thursday nights, as Thursday nights are half off bottle of wine nights! The place is small but sometimes, you just need a quaint place to enjoy your time and food! Enjoy!

You can’t imagine how good this is.

By d and n |

This is top quality, authentic Thai food. Maybe Bangkok or gems in San Francisco can match, but maybe not. All the traditional dishes (Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, endless curries) are there with flavors that make you beg for more. And then there are the “secret” dishes from family recipes of items not usually available outside Thailand (secret stickers, which has ground chicken mixed with spices and vegetables, wrappers ed and deep fried. Not oily, subtle flavor with background heat, makes your mouth water). Portions are large, prices are not. Staff friendly, helpful and work tables seamlessly. Very popular in small shopping center location. We should have made reservations but service staff found us a sitting within minutes. Atmosphere is quiet with mouthwatering dishes streaming from kitchen. We will return every chance we get

Tempura Spinach Salad -WOW

By M H |

Fabulous food. Lovely atmosphere and lucky us - right down the street. This is clearly going to be our favorite local restaurant. Our friends told us the World Famous Spinach Salad was unforgettable. Hmm, ok, let's try it. Well they were right. The tempura batter was crisp and super light. Done perfectly and actually best eaten with fingers although you will definitely be spooning on the accompanying delicious sauce. Our entrees were also excellent. We had a red and a green curry dish along with the green bean pork. The prices were very reasonable in my opinion considering the lovely decor and the quality of food. Would be suitable for a special occasion. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. It appears to be a good idea to arrive early as we were there around 4pm and by the time we left on a weekday as a matter of fact, they were quite busy. There are two dining rooms so they do have a fair amount of seating. We noticed they have some regular wine specials too Great experience

Love this place!

By Gordon G |

My wife and I have been going to this place for years! If you love great Thai food, good wine and superb service in an intimate setting then this is the place!

With growth there’s change

By Foxbite |

Nitttaya’s was once the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. That was when Nattaya herself was cooking. This was substantiated by my Thai friends visiting from Thailand. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is still very good but the food is a gamble. I recently ordered a shrimp dish that had a strong smell of old shrimp. I sent it back and ordered Pad Thai (my favorite dish) which was very different from the past. The noodles were chopped up and the taste was also different from the past. Very disappointing!

Yummy to the tummy

By Hoai My W |

Best Thai food in Las Vegas by far. It is pricey and small so be prepared to wait during peak times and bring your wallet!

Always a hit

By Debbie D |

We've been going to Nittaya's for years now. It's a cozy, charming spot with great Thai food. You have to enjoy the flavors of Thai cuisine, Lemon grass, Thai basil, curry, etc. If you do you'll find the food and service here are excellent. Add to it the beautiful orchids they garnish dishes with and a small, but well chosen wine list make this one of our favorite restaurants.

One of Vegas Best Thai Spots

By MooreVegasFood |

I absolutely love Nittaya’s! I’m a local who has eaten here several times but this past weekend, I recently visited their new location (same parking lot but now facing E Lake Mead instead of Rampart). The place is a lot larger but still just as zen and nice. The service was a tad bit slower than usual BUT they are still so very friendly and catering. The food is truly delicious and tastes like somebody Thai’s grandma made it. The food is made with love and soul and you can taste it all throughout. A MUST for vegas locals. P.S. THE CRAB WONTONS ARE THE BEST IN TOWN!!

BEST THAI FOOD!!!

By D M |

This place is such an OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. From the atmosphere, to the service of the staff to the food. This was such a delightful experience. The food was beyond amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and had so much flavor. You can tell that it was really made with intentions of a great, authentic delivery. I loved the tapas. When I went there with friends instead of ordering a heavy meal, we just ordered a bunch of tapas to try more of the dishes. The servers were so friendly. I even went two days in a row when I recently visited Las Vegas and the server even remembered me and what I had ordered. The decor is exquisite! Very classy.

Delicious!

We ate here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and came out very fast. The staff was friendly & helpful in helping us choose our meals. Highly recommend the spinach salad - it was so unique & we all loved it!

Highly recommend

By hapagirl G |

Very flavorful, very well presented, good service. My husband is very picky about eating at new restaurants and he loved this place. The tables were really close though, so try not to eavesdrop and concentrate on your own table's conversation. We started with the garlic edamame, chicken pot stickers, and chicken satay. There were three of us and the tapas came out in fours, so we had to ask each other, you want that last one? I had the green Massa curry, my husband the cashew shrimp, and my father the Cornish hen. For dessert we had the coconut creme brulee and the mango sticky rice. Everything was excellent. Service was excellent too. We sat right by the door to the kitchen so we were able to get multiple refills of our ice tea easily. No kidding, my husband is super picky about his food (especially if it's ethnic), and if he liked this place, then its worth visiting.

Never fails to impress

By roma2srs |

Went here for dinner with my husband, son and granddaughter for dinner. Everything was exceptional. When the plates come out they are so beautifully arranged on the plates. We ordered the lemongrass soup and the soft shell crab which I had not had previously and although they were tasty they were not my favorites and I will not order them again. Also new to us were the tamarind shrimp, crying tiger steak and the five spices bbq ribs and they all were fantastic. I have never seen my husband pick a rib bone so clean. t. For dessert we had the banana chocolate beignet and it did not disappoint. Whatever you order the spinach salad (whether you like spinach or not) and the crying tiger steak are a must

OK, but nothing special

By DoingWhatWeLove |

Compared to other restaurants we have been to in Las Vegas, this spot was above average, but compared to others around the US that we have visited, it was subpar. The ahi tuna was drowning in a mayo sort of sauce. The spinach salad was good because each spinach leaf is deep fried—and frying makes everything taste good. The waitstaff was lovely and helpful, but given the quality of the ingredients and their preparation, we think it was seriously overpriced.

Spectacular Restaurant

By Ted R |

We moved from Las Vegas 8 years ago and on a recent visit another couple of friends invited us to dinner her, WOW I don't know how they do it, but it was even better than we remember. Great service, great wine list and unbelievable food. If you are ever in Las Vegas this place is worth the drive to the upper West side.

Great Restaurant

By JaxnSteve |

We have now eaten here 3 times and each time has been fantastic. The food is delicious and the service is very good. We have had several dishes, potstickers, eggplant with basil, calamari, spinach salad, house salad, softshell crab, fried rice with crabmeat.. Everything is so fresh and tasty. We plan to go back again soon. The dressings that come with the salads are just delightful. I really love this little restaurant and highly recommend it.

Good Thai food

Very nice place, cosy , The service is very good and very kind. The food is fresh, very tasty , much like the food in Thailand. We are the fried Avocado which was great starter. Shrimp Phad Thai which was really great and Massaman curry which was very good. Absolutely Value for money. We had great dinner.

Best Fusion/Thai Food in Las Vegas

By DaraTheExplorer |

I have a new favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas and it is even in my Summerlin North neighborhood. All items ordered were delicious. I highly recommend Tempura Kale Chips, amazing, and the Pineapple Boat. Staff was exceptional.

Good Thai experience

By downslopewind |

Wasn't hard to find using Google Maps. Service was friendly but a bit inconsistent on timeliness. They did not have a high chair for our toddler, which was a bit of a pain but we adapted. Food and wine were solid and tasty. Perhaps a bit spendy. Their corn fritter app was excellent as was their northern Thai pork curry noodles.

This place should not be a secret!

By PAUL K |

This place is buried in a small strip mall off the main street, and took a little effort to find, but it was well worth it! It's small, so I would recommend making reservations, especially on busy nights. It was 7 pm on a Sunday when we went, so it wasn't too busy. We thought the ambiance was amazing. The music was audible, but very low key and did not distract from conversation. The lighting is low and it feels very intimate. It was very enjoyable. However, the best part about it was the food and service. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and worked together as a team so there was no point where anyone was too busy to take care of us. The food was absolutely fabulous! I wouldn't call it traditional Thai, but rather a cool Thai inspired menu. I don't generally recommend any one dish because they all looked like they'd be delicious, but definitely get the Thai donuts for dessert! As a note, it's a little more expensive than a traditional Thai restaurant. Expect to pay around $15 to $20 per entree, $5 to $10 for appetizers, and $5 to $10 for dessert, plus drinks. However, it is well worth the price!

Best kept secret in las vegas

By boocnew |

I was taken here by my friend for our monthly luncheon and both of us being asian we are hyper critical about asian food. I was amazed by the ambiance and the decor in this little space. The menu was simple and yet had wonderful fusion. The plates arrived and the presentation was that of a 4 star restaurant. We ordered the spinach salad and the vietmanese spring rolls. Super yummy! Our lunch came and the flavors were beyond description. I tend to have to add patis or soy sauce because some asian food is bland but this was a stand alone entrée! Bravo to a chef that does asian correctly! This has now become my weekly lunch secret spot for only myself and a small select few that I chose to invite to share amazing food with.

Top Quality Lunch

By Tomwaite |

We heard about this spot and went in for lunch with another couple. The setting is very comfortable, cosy and busy. Service staff were friendly, fast and outgoing. All our needs were taken care of in a professional and attentive manner. We each ordered a different entree and a few starters/soups, etc. The quality, spice, flavor, and heat of each item was exceptional. Great place for lunch or dinner!!!

Nittayas Secret for a reason

By Sherri A |

This place is tiny and gets very crowded so make a reservation. The staff is the best especially the nighttime bartender. I've been here probably 10 times and sometimes I try something new but mostly I get the Salmon with green curry. Never has it disappointed me. I recommend it highly.

a huge menu with something for everyone

By cosmiced |

We all put this restaurant as one we would definitely go back to even before I tell you that it's mostly Thai food, but what a menu!!! I can't remember the last time 'I said "this place has everything" but there's lots more I look forward to trying next time. Service is great and friendly and in its own way really quite charming. Everyone we take their agrees - we're coming back for more!

Secret in Summerlin

By Lindainvegas |

I've visited this restaurant several times, and love the cozy atmosphere, and great bar tenders. I'm not very familiar with Thai food, so have asked my waitress to make recommendations. I've only been disappointed once. (The chicken was dry) The sauces are delicious, and the wait staff is very helpful in customizing the "heat" of the curry. The décor is upscale, with tablecloths and attentive service. The room is small and intimate. Great place for a small group to be able to converse over a yummy meal. There are a couple tables outside, but they are against parked cars, and the location is close to a busy street. However, it's is not a high traffic parking lot, and it is possible to enjoy Vegas' beautiful fall weather.

Christmas Eve dinner

By Hendersoned |

We bought a whole bunch of things to share everything was really good we love the Hong Kong fried rice and the chicken satay and the vegetable egg rolls. Two shrimp orders, go here it’s tremendous!!

Thai Treasure

By shoebox22 |

As I'd never had Thai food, a good friend from Bangkok introduced me to the owner and this treasure trove. Now its our go-to for a lovely meal. The spinach salad, with each fresh spinach leaf individually fried in a light tempura batter, served with a Thai vinaigrette, is a must every trip and enough to share. Try the Crying Tiger Steak or the Fresh Off the Pineapple Boat Rice and don't forget the Coconut Crème Brule or Fried Banana. If you're planning an evening, be sure to make reservations as they have wine specials with tapas and can fill up quickly.

The best place in vegas!!!

By shai w |

I really love this spot, love to eat there the salmon avocado and papaya salad! Try the doughnuts for desert. The flavor of all the dishes is out of this world and I tried most of the items in the menu. Reservations are recommended!

Great Thai restaurant in Summerlin

By JoT764 |

Visited for my birthday as it came recommended on Trip Advisor. Service and food were all very tasty and big portions. Our young kids loved it too. Easy parking and reasonably priced. My pulled pork in curry broth was divine and my 5 year old loved his chicken fried rice. Chicken massamqn cooked a bit milder for my daughter and hubby liked his seafood dish. We shared a couple of tapas to start, equally tasty. My only complaint is the website which requires flash. Please please offer a non flash site! We very nearly didn't come as we couldn't view menu etc on iPads.

OMG

By Joanne G |

Ok since I've only lived in Las Vegas six months, always looking for new places to eat. Nittaya's was recommended to us as the best Thai food in Las Vegas....well I must say the food was outstanding. If you get the chance to go there, a must try, is their famous spinach salad. They lightly tempura the spinach and have a semi spicy sauce on the side with cashews, lemon, onion, and not sure what else....but it makes you want more. Also had the green curry and Pad Z-U noodles.....everything was terrific. Would definitely go again. Price is a teensy high $$ but the food is worth it. Nittayassecretkitchen.com you won't regret it

Always consistent

By Donna W |

This is a lovely restaurant that locals go to for a nice meal and good service. The food is always high quality and the prices are reasonable, especially for lunch. The drunken noodles are very tender and the basil chicken is to die for as well as the tofu curry. You can order any heat level you like but an additional spice tray can be requested to pump up the heat level. The coconut ice cream is a must and bottles of wines are half-price on Thursday evenings. They just completed an expansion as they were turning away a lot of people each night...to be sure you get in, make a reservation for dinner.

Great food, great service! Wonderful place to eat lunch or dinner. Whenever I'm in the summerlin area, I try to find time to dine here.

5:15 on Thursday, no tables, really?

By Jessica K |

We arrived at 5:15 on a Thursday, there were literally 5 tables with people at them (we needed a table for 2, the rest of the restaurant was completely empty), and 2 of the tables were cashing out when we arrived... We were told that the earliest we could get in was 7:45... As we are looking around at 5/6 of the restaurant empty or currently cashing out, we were told "we are so busy". Thanks, but no thanks. We were recommended Nittaya's by some friends, we ended up walking across the parking lot to Oh, La, La the French Bistro, which was AMAZING... Will be back there

WORST THING I’ve ever seen happen in a restaurant

By Eliza C |

BY FAR THE WORST THING I’ve ever seen happen in a restaurant! And this isn’t Denny’s folks! Nitaya’s- SO WRONG!!!!!! So, we have 14 people in our group and we go out to eat as a family for birthdays. Over the years have had some great and not so great experiences. The great ones we will always go back to, but this time we wanted to try something new. Nitaya’s Secret Kitchen was recommended to us, and though very small, we thought the atmosphere was nice. We sat down, everyone ordered, 3 people ordered the same dish, and then a variety of others. They brought out 2 first, which were eaten before the next 4, then 3 other entrees came out, and several more minutes and the last, except for one. It was the steak, which as I said, 2 others had also ordered. It was awkward for the group to start eating while waiting for the others, but we finally all started eating except for the one. Who waited, and waited, and waited. And we asked, and asked and asked AGAIN! The waiters were walking by, serving other tables, “yes, yes, we know, it’s coming” they kept saying. Finally, AFTER EVERYONE WAS DONE, they brought her food. Well she didn’t want to keep everyone waiting for cake while she ate her food, so she asked for them to package it to go. They took another REALLY long time, but brought her a brown bag. Now imagine, you’ve come to dinner, from work, are starving, and looking forward to STEAK. We light the candles, sing happy birthday, eat cake, and then a waitress comes out with another plate, this time FRIED THAI DONUTS. Compliments of the chef, for the PERSON WHO DIDN’T GET TO EAT THEIR STEAK while everyone else was eating. DONUTS! I was mortified, and felt even worse. Remember, we’ve been there for a couple of hours now, already had cake, and this was their way of compensating. So of course we had to ask for the check, and on there was every charge, for everything, including a charge for cutting the cake, and an automatic gratuity. I asked if they were going to do anything for the person who didn’t eat, and the waiter said yes, of course, we gave her DONUTS! What the !?*??!! So I said really, imagine that our family member was looking forward to steak, very hungry, she had to eat cake instead, and then you brought her donuts! How would you feel? Next thing you know, out comes a waitress, snatched the brown To-go bag off the table, and after another long while, comes back with the meal removed from the bill! We asked “what are you going to do with her meal?” They replied, the owner will take it home and eat it! WHAAAAAAAT????? REALLY?????? I REPEAT, WORST MOST EMBARRASSING THING I’ve ever seen, in any restaurant, EVER!!!! Please do not patronize this kind of owner! WRONG!!!!!! You don’t treat your worst enemy this way 😡😡😡😡😡

Nittaya’s

By Raymond S |

Great Thai food in this local, quaint restaurant. Interesting twists on some of the Thai food that made it awesome. Very friendly wait staff.

Home Fresh

By latu190 |

I had just tried the famous Lotus of Siam for the first time and I was ready for a quick turnaround comparison. Not that the food was bad at "LoS", but the one difference I immediately noticed was the Nittaya's food tasted fresher and like it came out of someone's home kitchen (belonging to a real Thai Chef!). The food is amazing!!! The restaurant was nicely appointed and I really liked how they laid out their menu. This is a gem that I will go out of my way to go back to (if your staying on the strip, its about 25 minute ride w/o traffic to their restaurant). Sorry "LoS", Nittaya's Secret Kitchen beat you food, service, and the quality of the restaurant (not too mention you don't need a police escort if you go at night).

Worth the effort to find it!

By LisaT08055 |

We wondered about the wisdom of renting a car during our visit to Vegas . . . until we decided to drive out to the suburbs to find Nattaya's Secret Kitchen. The drive was totally worth it. My husband lived in Thailand, so he has certain expectations for Thai food. I can only judge from the other Thai places where we've eaten. We both give this place two thumbs up. Nattaya's physical appearance could best be described as a small, toned-down California wine bar. It's cozy and warmly lit. The actual bar area is dominated by wine. I'm not even sure if they sell cocktails, but I do recall seeing sake on the menu. I would recommend that you dress "business casual" or "resort chic," as you might feel out of place in shorts/T-shirts as well as anything too glitzy. They wouldn't say anything, but you'd feel like the odd duck in a relatively small space. We sampled some of the wines while waiting for takeout to bring back to the rest of our group at our hotel on the strip. We had the bad timing to arrive just after a large group (like 20 people!) who took up almost every space in the dining area. We thanked our lucky stars that our group opted for takeout rather than coming up to Summerlin with us because there's no way that they could have seated us, but it meant that our sizable order was going to take a while. They warned us in advance that our order would take 45 minutes. We felt that we had to tough it out because we'd driven quite a way to get there and other people were waiting on us. That 45 minutes was well over an hour, probably closer to 75 minutes, according to the time of the series of texts I exchanged with our starving friends back at the hotel. I don't think this is the norm for them. The large group in front of us was definitely a factor. I might not have even mentioned it except for the fact that we observed the waitress taking their orders and then we watched the group finish their meals and some of them left before we got our food. This observation would indicate that we would have encountered a similar wait whether we were dining in or getting takeout. This isn't really a take-out kind of place. We weren't able to order ahead because their website requires flash, meaning it is not mobile-friendly for our phones. I could see the locals grabbing food to take home once they already knew the menu offerings. That said, the food was worth the effort. The spinach tempura was amazing -- not sure how I lived without this my whole life. My pad see ew was excellent, and prepared as savory instead of sweet, exactly as I like it. My husband didn't care for his sum tum (green papaya salad), but he normally prefers it Lao style, so take that with a grain of salt. He loved the green curry. No one liked the very sweet fried tofu, but the spring rolls were a big hit. Everyone agreed that we'd gladly try more on our next trip.

Hidden gem

By 1cyclist |

Stopped in on a Wednesday night while in town. It was very crowded but we were seated quickly. The "fried" spinach salad was surprisingly delicious. My husband cooed over the coconut soup. My cashew shrimp was ok, the shrimp was a little over done. Overall, would go back again when in town, but would make a reservation.

Did we forget to say .. " Yummy "

By raydioinc |

3 of us friends sat outside , inside was busy outside side patio was perfect at sunset , not too hot out great service with Raul , made the time to chat with us and explain stuff on menu we had 5 different appetizers .. all great along with the main dish of green curry Soooooooooo yummy !! Will tell all friends and will get back to eat once again at this excellent gem for Thai food

Delicious Thai

By Christina K |

I loved the atmosphere. The service was good. We ordered too much food. It was nice to share and try different items off the menu. We didn't have anything we didn't like. The spice level can range from nothing to fire...your choice.

The best Thai food ever

By Peter A |

This is probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had. It’s very unique and always fresh and homemade. Nice wine selections and friendly good service. If you like Thai food you gotta go here.

Better than average but NOT Very Good

By normanf230 |

Nice flavors from a limited menu. I asked for the four level (4 of 5) spice and it wasn't as spicy as a barbecue chip. Food was fair at best. The coconut ice cream tasted like ice milk and I don't think a coconut and the serving we received had ever been in the same room. The rice was mediocre - how do you mess up white rice. The ambiance was like being in a high school cafeteria - not a place to take a date. The only exceptional thing was the wait staff but even they blew it at the end as it took forever to get our check.

Top scale Thai food

By The Happy Traveler |

Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen is a great place to meet friends and family for a top quality upscale Thai food experience. The food and ambiance are set for a perfect dining experience. We started with the chicken pot stickers and chili lime squid chilled salad which were both delicious. Then we had the eggplant panang and drunken noodles. The eggplant was cut perfectly and the baby bok choy was perfect in the panang sauce. We really liked they way they cut the noodles in the drunken noodles dish. All items were made with fresh ingredients, presentation was very appealing and service was friendly and laid back. They had a variety of deserts so we tried the Thai donuts with caramel sauce which were still warm as they are made to order. They were light and fluffy. This is a great place for any occasion and delicious quality fresh food!

Wonderful food, the best town Their avocado salmon curry is to die for. Always take my out of state guests here and they all are fully satisfied

As good as it gets

By roma2srs |

Every time I go to this restaurant which is not often it never disappoints so I don't know why I don't go more often. Went to lunch with a friend and we had tempura spinach salad (world famous and a must), crab rolls which were absolutely fantastic and bacon wrapped shrimp which was not my favorite. I found the taste of the bacon overwhelmed the shrimp. Service was great and very attentive. Even at lunch time this place was packed. Have to remember to go more frequently.

Fabulous Food

By NatlParkTravelers |

We tried Nittaya's Secret Kitchen after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and were very pleased. The restaurant is in a strip center but once you walk in you don't feel like you are in a strip center. The restaurant feels very upscale and is painted dark so you feel relaxed and calm. Our server was very helpful with recommendations. We had the green curry which was the best curry we have ever had and the drunken noodles were out of this world. We also had the fried spinach appetizer that was awesome. Not to miss. We will definitely revisit.

Best Discovery for Thai!

By PatrickFilbert |

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The food is amazing, and customer service and seating is alway squared away. Went here for our 25th Anniversary and we went hungry. The food is the best Thai I've had in the last several years living in Las Vegas. The tempura spinach is a must try and the fish and curry dishes are spectacular?

Great Thai Fusion

By mail4cindyr |

We really enjoy the spinach salad appetizer and fun drink menu. The foods are a trendy spin on Thai favorites. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean.

A Great Find

By MojaveMax |

I was introduced to this restaurant by a good friend who is a foodie. A wonderful find on many levels. A small independent establishment serving outstanding Asian food, leaning heavily to Thai. Ordered several dishes and ate family style. All very good and better. Will return.

Great food... good price too!

By GinaF100 |

We came for Lunch based on recommendations. The food was great and portion size was more than adequate, we even took the remaining home as we could not eat it all! The lunch menu has a good selection of dishes and you have the option of ordering from the full menu as well. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive giving great customer service. This is a hidden gem that is worth a visit!

Upscale Thai

By vicvegas2014 |

Enjoyed lunch with friends. Ordered from the lunch special menu and supplemented with the spinach salad. Not really what I would characterize as a spinach salad as it is comprised of fresh spinach leaves which are fried in a light tempura batter and served with a wonderful dipping sauce on the side. Really delicious. We all enjoyed our lunch special choices. Very nice service and ambiance.

Special Dishes

By LeeDiMc |

We recently moved to the area and Nittaya's was highly recommended. It did not disappoint! The tempura spinach salad lives up to its reputation. The wine selection is impressive as are the tapas portion sizes. We will be back!

Sub Standard Service

By DiceyLasVegas_Nevada |

We were seated at this restaurant for 25 minutes before we were served our drinks...water must be asked for. That was the beginning of non existent service. The wait staff was atrocious and should be schooled in the art of customer service. The food was ok, a bit spicy, as the servers never questioned our taste level for hot peppers. I would not recommend this restaurants..as the insulting service does not complement the mediocre food.

This is a cozy, well designed

This is a cozy, well designed restaurant. The service is good and the food is delicious! I am planning on going there on a weekly basis!

Dinner

By robert w |

This is a small, classy restaurant. Located at a shopping plaza. We had a vegan dinner. The food was tasty and good but I would have liked to have more food. We had a coconut based ice cream desert which was very good but again too small. Good food, not enough and very pricey.

overrated food

By vegas rocks |

beautiful atmosphere but the food is good but overrated. I have had much better curry, pad thai & pad see ew noodles elsewhere. The prices are the highest for thai food at 65% more than at other thai restaurants.

Not that good Thai Food

By Michelle Russell |

I went to pick up my order on November 19. I ordered Papaya Salad, Larb Chicken, Thai bouillabaisse and Garlic Basil Lamb Chop. First of all the price is VERY EXPENSIVE compare to another Thai restaurant. I expected the good quality but Papaya salad tasted very fishy and Thai bouillabaisse didn't taste good, the seafood was not fresh and smelled funny. I got stomachache few hours later and was in the bathroom all night. It's not a good place to go for Thai food for sure!!

Great food especially the spinach salad

By MLE0904 |

This was our first time here and we will be back. Thursdays are half price bottle days so we got a decent bottle of wine for an ok price. They even packaged what we didn't finish. The tempura spinach salad is amazing and I could make a meal of it. The fried rice was flavorful but no once spice overpowered it. The tiger steak was cooked perfectly with a not too spicy sauce. The lemongrass creme brulee was sweet and a light dessert. I am not sure what "authentic" Thai food is but this was amazing.

This place rocks!

By Msulli2 |

Nitaya's is one of Las Vegas's best kept secrets, but the word obviously is getting out. We went and had we not made a reservation, we would not have gotten in. The small dining room was packed. Our dinner was awesome, as it always is. The flash-fried spinach is still my favorite, the the lamb chops are a can't miss as well. Best to order family style so everyone in the party can get a taste of the amazing food. If you're visiting Las Vegas, do yourself a favor, get off the Strip and visit this place!!

Dinner

By Elizabeth S |

Have been now three times and love Nittayas more each trip. Particularly love the green curry hanger steak entree with avocado, eggplant and Zucchini. For appetizers the secret pot stickers and naked shrimp in the lettuce wraps are terrific. The bartender Josh can always help guide you to find something to suite your tastes.

Quick lunch

By John B |

Excellent little restaurant. By little I do mean small. It's a squeeze to move around when it's busy. As it was Friday 20th when I dropped in for a quick lunch. It packed out, I managed to squeeze in at the bar. The servers were rushing around like Blue ar....ed flies. I had a chicken drunken noodles which were excellent. I started with a plate of Thai pot stickers but you do get a salad and one pot sticker with your meal. A lunch time special is excellent value at $11. Time I went back for an evening meal. Thursday night bottles of wine half price.

Thai food gem in north Las Vegas

By WSF382 |

Wow - what a find in the suburbs of north Las Vegas. If you want something off The Strip, and don't mind a 20 minute drive north, this is a great place for dinner. Go on Thursday night when select bottles of very nice wine are 1/2 price. This place has a nice quiet atmosphere and the food is very fresh. We had a curry, the steamed veggies and Pad Thai along with the seared tuna appetizer. All VERY good! The prices are pretty normal for Vegas.

Not coming back ever !!!

By Fernando L |

I been here many time probably like 20 times, and they don't care about the customers at all, today was my last time coming here, I went there today and I decided to try something new in the menu because I always get the same stuff and today when I got my dish I tasted and I didn't really like it, so I asked the waiter if she will change it for my regular dish that I always get and she told me ohh well I will have to charge for it, and I was surprised of her reaction she never said sorry to hear you didn't like the dish etc nothing, plus to charge for a dish it was bad flavor, I told her again is not that I changed my mind is that I tasted and I didn't like it at all she said yeah I understand but you have to pay for it, I was with 3 other friends so I didn't want to argue plus we were celebrating one of my friends birthday so I end up paying a almost 40 dls lunch, this is really bad I used to have a restaurant for like 10 years and I will never make a customer pay if they didn't like the dish I will be more than happy to change for something else, I just want to let everyone knows what to expect from this place.

Great lunch specials!

By bandie101 |

My friend suggested Nittayas and said she thought it was the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. I can’t say she’s wrong! It’s a cozy restaurant with a great menu and fantastic lunch specials. She had the drunken noodles and I had the green curry chicken. Yummmm. Service was great, the ambience cozy and comfortable. The strawberry and cucumber infused water was delicious.

Gourmet Thai Food in Summerlin

By Kevin C |

Nittaya's Secret Kitchen is an intimate little restaurant with first class Thai food, the best we've had in the Vegas Valley. We ate there in a group of ten, and everybody raved about the dishes they chose. My wife and I had Home Style Shrimp Pad Thai, Beef Curry, and two appetizers, the Curry Puffs and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Skewers. Her Beef Curry was a little spicy for her taste, but I thought it was perfect, so we shared the Pad Thai as well. Be sure to specify how spicy you'd like your dish, on a scale of 1 to 5. Service was fine, and overall it was a great time out.

Great Meal

By PJBrewer |

Small place. Nice and cozy. Five beers on tap and an extensive wine collection. I ordered the Coconut Curry Seafood. It was fabulous and quite a nice portion. I will definitely be back again. DELICIOUS!

This place has really changed

By Foxbite |

My wife and I started going to Nittaya’s when it first opened. We go there at least twice a month when we are in town. Since it opened the restaurant doubled in size. We had lunch there today. My wife’s Basil Eggplant was good but my Pad Thai was not. I send my Pad Thai back because it tasted like it was reheated. The noodles were too soft and over cooked. The second order was not much better and it was so sweet that it tasted like desert. I left most of it there. However, the service was very good! My wife and I noticed that the food quality has changed. I am very disappointed, since I really enjoyed this restaurant over the years. We have been going there for years and recommended this restaurant to many friends and associates.

Upscale Thai, good appetizers and dessert

By Kathy R |

Overall pleased. Son-in-law eggs were really tasty and fun. the coconut rice and mango dessert was very nice and not too big. The atmosphere is upscale and was a bit overcrowed but this is a tame crowd so pretty quiet. However, we could have used more attention from the waitstaff, she was nice and did a good job but we only saw her twice because she was stretched pretty thin. Our meals were good. My basil eggplant was good but not great. Too much grease, not enough basil and a bit bland. Husband's Drunken noodle was a bit too spicy without being labeled as such. My Tulle (linden) tea was barely drinkable as the water was not hot enough for this type of long steeping tisane. It is expensive for thai food but this is better than typical thai restaurants. We will go again.

Can't get enough

I consider this restaurant offer their cooking as the best Thai food I had ever been to Definitely not shy with spices.

Great Inventive Thai Food

By Eddie N |

This place came recommended so thought I would try... called to see how busy they were since I was told the place is small... good thing I called... they were busy... so they made a reservation for me... for about 45 min later... better than going there and waiting ... right ... The 2 of us shared a large warm Sake, Spinach Tempura Salad, and a Coconut Seafood Curry... Excellent quality and service... will go back again and try some other dishes... like the pineapple rice for one...

Surprise of a find!

By Vegasthompson |

We were driving looking for a place to try and happened upon Nittaya's. We had four of the tapas and were really impressed! The bacon wrapped shrimp with pineapple puree could have been a meal on it's own. Also, the edimame was the best I've ever had -- loaded with garlic and hot peppers it was very tasty. We also had the vegetable rolls (perfectly done with a very light fried wrap) and the garlic jasmine rice. We will DEFINITELY be back here to try their entrees!

Take out

I had heard about this place so got food for the house. The shrimp panang curry was very good!!! Not too salty or heavy. I will return! It's pricey though for the area.

The Best Thai food!

By Christy D |

The food here is simply amazing!!! Everything we’ve ordered has always been so delicious… And the famous spinach salad is truly unique and crave worthy!

Oh no, another disappointing lunch

By Lifeisonetrip |

Cannot understand why this restaurant is so very busy at lunch, yet they are understaffed and manned by employees that are totally overwhelmed. Once again, the service was bad. Entrees were served before salads. And the place is very busy and loud. You cannot have a decent conversation. I found a new place that serves very good Thai food and they seem to have their act together.

The food is quality Thai food

By amyrose25cherry |

The food is quality Thai food with fresh ingredients. I had the avocado salmon curry and the fish was cooked to perfection. The servers are very good, they are able to recommend great wine pairings for the food. My husband loved the crying tiger appetizer. I highly recommend trying it!

The Truth!

By Klaus A |

We eat here often and found it quite by mistake back in 2011. We probably come here at between 6 and 10 times a year. So, first visit here we actually met Nataya. Yes, she is a real person. She grew up in Thailand and her mother taught her how to cook. While we were chatting with her the subject of "fusion" came up. She actually got a little pushed out of shape by that. She told us all her dishes are prepared in an authentic Thai fashion and it is NOT fusion. We believe her. The Kao-Soi is the best I have ever had. I always ask for a 5 hotness. Also, be sure to ask for some Prik Nam Pla. It is a traditional Thai condiment and it is served. However, it is not on the menu, so you must ask for it. It very spicy and slightly sweet. My wife loves the Salmon green curry. We take friends here often, and it becomes a favorite of theirs as well. We highly recommend this place. Thursday evening is half price wine by the bottle.

Good food, good service and enjoyable ambiance!

By Dave D |

Went for an early dinner after arriving home from Chicago; seated quickly and had drinks & water quickly. Wine was good - Smashberry Red Blend / Santa Maria, CA - though not my favorite. We started with the Tempura Spinach Salad - I enjoyed it but felt it was a bit heavier than I anticipated for a salad (it was Tempura) but hte dressing was fabulous! We shared the Lemongrass Soup with Shrimp - Delicious! And the Drunken Noodles which I thought were delicious also, but my wife was not as big a fan. I'll be having these for lunch tomorrow! Finished with a Ginger-Lemongrass Creme Brulee - subtle but delicious blend of flavors. Will definitely be back!

Hidden gemc

Went for lunch with my sister and it’s a true hidden gem. Everything we absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend the World famous spinach salad. Salad like you wouldn’t know it and a MUST to order. We ordered a couple of tapas dishes and a couple of mains. Everything was lush Can’t wait to go back again.

Best Thai In Town

By TravelingFoodieTales |

Hands down best Thai in Vegas. The spot is super small, but so cute! Must order the Fried Spinach Salad ... Thursday's are half off bottles of wine 😍

Nice New Location

By Loren L |

This new location is very welcoming. Great menu selection and excellent service. We did not feel rushed and were able to take our tie ordering and eating. They handled our dietary needs with caution and good recommendations. Definitely great taste and flavor to all the dishes. Enjoy a gret evening out.

Great Little Hidden Thai Gem

By Tom B |

I have only been here once, but oh, what a nice lunch it was. Tucked away in a tiny strip mall near Rampart and Lake Mead Blvd, this place is a true gem. My sister and I shared a plate of perfectly cooked pot stickers. They were fresh and the pork based filling was tangy, not hot and had the right amount of garlic, ginger and onion with a nice soft doughy noodle shell. Just right. I had the pan fried chicken noodles done with wide flat Pad Thai style noodles and freshly cooked chicken, egg and Thai spices. I always order a 1-2 out of 5 on the spicy heat scale and add my own extra spices which ends up being a 4-5, but this time I just enjoyed the flavors at the lower end of the spice spectrum. My sister had the red curry chicken which was a perfect balance of coconut curry sauce laced with basil and the usual fresh veggies over fresh slightly sticky steamed rice. There is something about the way they cook things here and the seemingly fresh-off-the-farm taste and flavors that makes the Secret Kitchen special. It feels as if the vegetables, meats and spices are grown fresh out in back of the restaurant. Chef Nittaya has created a special place here. Next time I must try the Tempura Spinach Salad.... sound interesting? It looked great and very different on the table next to us. Must. Go. Back! Note: This place is small, intimate and nice. I'd think twice about bringing kids under 14; maybe only for lunch?

Some of the Best Tai food ever

By GoBinWi |

This place is not easy to find but it is worth it. Amazing Tai food, friendly staff and great service. It is worth the trip, but make reservations, not a huge place.

Too expensive, but still good

By Samantha H |

This was a good place for some delicious sampling. The chicken/fried spinach thing was amazing, but overall it was too expensive for the small portions. Yummy, but there's better thai for cheaper.

The best Thai around!

By CanadaSupersue |

We visit Nittaya's at least once every time we come to Las Vegas. This trip we visited twice and we were not disappointed. The service is always fast and friendly and the food it always delicious. The food is great value compared to other places in the area. If you like Thai food with a little twist do yourself a favour and get to Nittaya's.

Great Thai food in an out of the way ploace

By mfcMinneapolis |

Nittaya's must be good because it is always packed. They have a slightly different twist on Thai food. It is much more upscale than your normal take out place. Linen napkins etc. They have 1/2 price bottles of wine specials each night. A very extensive menu is a bot overwhelming at the start. The apps are great. Their spinach salad is unlike any I have ever had. It has a light tempura batter with a kickin' dressing on the side. All of their curry's, fried rice and pad thai are great and very large portions to share

Second Restaurant in the NW?

By vagabondpilot |

We have eaten many times at the Summerline place and love it. Very friendly and the ambiance is great. Last time was in January since we no longer live in Summerlin and we've been told another restaurant is being opened in the Centennial Hills area, which is nearer to our current location. Sometime in April 2020.

Can’t miss

By Rick M |

Wonderful atmosphere and service, and the food is among the best Thai food I’ve had in the entire world. The little spinach fried salad was a fascinating surprise. Every dish was incredible.

Wonderfully different!

By Carolannfrances |

This place was a total surprise! A MUST is their spinach salad, which is quickly fried with tempura coating. It is fairly large and great as an appetizer for four. Seared ahi was really good! Drinking noodles were fabulous. This place is on our list for more visits.......often!

Very taste

By mtesdall |

The spinach Salad was amazing. Red curry chicken dish was yummy as well. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Best Thai place in Summerlin

By Kim |

We are from Seattle where you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Thai restaurant. But baby let me tell you!! This place was head and shoulders ABOVE any place we have in Seattle!! The best part was they had fresh house made donuts for dessert!

Awesome thai food

By Bart C |

It is a beautiful cozy restaurant with great service and really authentic, delicious food. WE sat at small table in the bar area and ordered several small plates/tapas and an entrée, everything was delicious.

A Hidden Gem

By normanf230 |

Nittaya's is located in an off beat shopping mall. I assume that is why they call it a Secret Kitchen. This is the second time we visited here and I truly believe it is better than the first. Friendly staff, great food at a very reasonable price. We will visit again!

Good Dinner at Nittaya's Secret Kitchen

By SusieRussell |

My son took our family to Nittaya's Secret Kitchen to celebrate his son's birthday. I had never heard of the place. The food was delicious, Asian flair, very nice varied selection of foods I had never tasted before. Fried Spinach with a delicious light sauce, among many other things. They have a wonderful selection of Tapas. They serve wine and beer - no hard liquor. The restaurant is fairly small inside, nice decorated, has a nice bar area - the server was very knowledgable and pleasant. They do not do anything special for birthdays, including they do not sing happy birthday, but we were able to bring in our own birthday cake for my grandson. It was a very enjoyable experience at Nittaya's and will most likely go back again for their Tapas.

Creative Thai-Themed Dining

By Owen P |

This cozy little restaurant is a neighborhood treasure. It serves Thai food, certainly, but not the basic recipes of a typical Thai restaurant. The dishes are very imaginative, fine quality, and nicely presented. It's a bit pricey, compared with many Thai eateries, but not too out of line and well worth it.

The place is beautiful, the food is OK

By Raymond H |

We went for the happy hour. It worth to go there just to appreciate the exquisite interior design taste of the owner who recently redecorated her restaurant. The same lady owner is the chef. The crab cake were the best I had for a long time. The rest of the tapas were just OK. The service was frendly and competent.

Our favorite Thai place in town

By Klaus A |

We love love this place! We have probably been here 5 or 6 times a year for the past 5 years. We discovered it by accident when we moved here and have enjoyed it ever since. My wife always gets the green curry salmon. I tend to explore the menu more. If Nitaya is cooking and you order a 5, you will get a 5! I love it. Then, I also get a side of the Prik Nom Pla, which is super tasty and very hot with a sweet oil. They have a great kauchoi too. Highly recommend the spinach salad. If you can, ask for Leah as your server. She is the best and always has good suggestions. I would give this place a 6 if it was an option! Best Thai in town. I suggest reservations as it isn't a huge place.

Really secret

By MaryW |

This is a little Thai bistro sort of near Summerlin in a parking lot on a hill. It is hard to find. That's not just my directionally-challenged self talking. My business associate met me here and she got lost and called me for help. Tha th with GPS. I'm tempted to say that "Nittaya's Secret Kitchen," is REALLY SECRET. Once inside you are greeted appropriately. It did take a minute of standing there awkwardly while other patrons ogle you. It is a all space. And it is busy. The decor is like a quaint village restaurant. But it is loud and chatty. The crowd are mostly 30-40s, Yuppies. (Do people still call them that?) Food. It is good. I got the obligatory spinach "salad" to start, which is not really salad, but a deep fried appetizer. Tasty and inventive. The fried avocado was less successful, a bit greasy. The lamb dish I ordered was cooked well, maybe a little cloying, but that's not a deal breaker. The side of rice, which is shared, was perfect. Dessert was not memorable (literally, I do not remember what we had!) Overall, cool spot, with the right company. I don't think I would go here alone, except to sit at the bar. The "cool kids" phenom is strong with this one.

Amaaaaazing Thai!

By JennDunne |

Have been meaning to come here for some time and only regret last night was my first! This place is fantastic. The service was friendly, courteous and professional (we sat at the bar). The food was exceptional. We tried a couple of appetizers recommended by our charming bartender. The salmon avocado curry and absolute delight. Easy to believe it is a local's favorite. Will return many, many times!

Simply Mmmmm !!

By raydioinc |

2nd time here ... simply yummy food With friends and service was wonderful , fast and food was hot and tasty Massaman curry dish is in my opinion a version of Panang .. go for it !! Soooo good !! Along with other dishes you will enjoy all

Superb!

By Julie W |

Reservations are encouraged on Fridays and Saturdays as the word is getting out about this place--but, staff were wonderful and found us a table even though we showed up at peak time (8pm) on a Friday. The food was spectacular; fresh and cooked to perfection. The Seared Ahi was excellent, the Crying Tiger dish was fabulous, and the Angel Wings were too good for words. This was, by far, the best gourmet Thai food I've tasted in the U.S. A true gem, and worth checking out!

Gluten Free Curry- Amazing!

By BobbyFranEpicTravel |

This is a wonderful spot for delicious Thai food. We reserved an outdoor table and were immediately seated upon arrival. I inquired about gluten free options and was given a wide range of possibilities. Some additional substitutions were also offered. I ordered the Veggie Rolls which came with a great dipping sauce. I also ordered the Tofu Massaman Curry which was the best I ever had. My husband had the chicken pad Thai which he loved. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be going back again!!!!

Honest review from a Thai

By Pam N |

This place is made for people who don't know what Thai food is supposed to taste like. Pad Ka-Prow tasted like ground taco meat with bell peppers, not seasoned at all. Priced like they're in a fancy hotel, so I was expecting heavenly goodness but taste below average. It's unfortunate because we wanted it to be a really good Thai place that's close to us. They're just at a good location to sucker the affluent. So disappointed...sorry, not sorry for being so blunt.
