I have never paid so much for so little in my life. It would be nice if it was actually good. What is suppose to be fresh, isn't. It just really sucks. Sorry

Nobu Vegas @ Hard Rock Hotel has nothing to do with Nobu NY. Simply poor food quality. Black Cod signature was embarrassing Either bad purveyor or not enough demand. Regardless, you don t want to pay premium to get leftovers.

I can't believe every person has not given this place a five! Yes, it is pricey, no doubt. Portions are small, but delightful. Know what you are going for, sampling unique cuisine. But everything was done first rate. The food is truly exceptional the service was outstanding. As soon as my glass was empty it was replenished. I bet our table was serviced over 20 times by multiple people in the hour we were there. My friend got the pineapple saki, and I ended up having 2 small servings because it was fantastic! I don't give 5s lightly, but this was truly a 5 star experience.

Great sushi! Nice travelzoo offer for 6 course dinner which was very nice. Ambiance is LOUD at dinner!

U wont get out below 200 dollars and still feel hungry, however ur meal will be served with a big show and shu-shu. The sushi served is for the average customer nothing special unless u wanna really invest in the totally overpriced specialities „that is only available in vegas“ . In addition, i wouldnt know why this restaurant is placed in a bottom end casino like the hard rock. If u feel liked getting ripped, go there. Otherwise sushi samba at the venetian is a much better and more affordable address.

It's been 3 days since my wife and I had dinner at Nobu and I keep mentioning going to the one in our town every day!!! Everything about our experience was top shelf. I had the Wagyu Nigiri and almost lost my mind. Paired with a nice glass of Hibiki, it just doesn't get any better than that. My wife had the black Cod which is her absolute favorite. I also had various other cut rolls and all expertly prepared and tasted great. Don't miss out on Nobu!

cod was great! nothing else was good. Sent a roll back due to freshness, drinks not good, too tart or too whatever.. we wont be back.

We were able to get a reservation a day ahead of time for 9:30PM on a Tuesday night. If you're stressed for time before a show, make sure you call several days ahead to get a reservation. Especially for a weekend. They do close at 11pm. We did the Nobu experience and had our waiter, Scott, picked the items for us. There are 3 price ranges to do this. You start out with the cold items, then the hot items and sushi at the end. Just tell your waiter what you like or don't like and they make the menu accordingly. The black cod with the miso topping is their signature dish. Be sure to get that. You can order anything you like, but experiencing the several dishes is the way to go. If you're lucky and get Scott and Tyler as your waiters, you won't be sorry. Just sit back and relax. I wouldn't recommend taking small children here. We plan on going back in December.

Ironic to say seafood is pedestrian, but it most certainly was. Overpriced and one of the very few disappointments on our trip.

They had excellent servers. The food was good. I've had better but we went more for the experience. I had the miso soup and tempura sushi.

In for business and had a fantastic meal here. Four diners let the Chef Special become the order of the evening, and the selections were great. They asked how many serving types we would like and if we wanted another course, they just added that on. The service was very good and attentive, but the meal, was awesome. I will do this type of ordering here, again.

This dinner changed our lives. I dined with 2 of my girlfriends and we had the server cater a menu for us so we didn't know what amazingness was coming our way which was wonderful. He asked us a few questions to determine what we liked and then brought plate after plate of yumminess. I cannot recommend this place enough. Our servers were delightful and the dinner was to die for! Would do it all over again!

We made call ahead reservations which was nice but when we got there it was not crowded. The atmosphere is wonderful and the wait staff were extremely attentive. The food was fabulous. We had, lobster sushi, salad, fish and beef. All the menu items were excellent. The only downfall is that this is an expensive restaurant so be willing to pay the maximum price.

Flavors were delicious but the portions were tiny. We ordered six plates to share amongst the four of us, giving us a couple tastes of each. We each had one drink, as well. We left $450 shorter and all of us still hungry. The flavors ARE delicious, but not worth the price.

Another great Nobu experience of fine food and atmosphere. The welcome was warm and by the manager, a former colleague from Nobu Dubai. We sat at the sushi bar and asked for the chefs to surprise us with a selection of items. The food was absolutely superb with 4 courses and a lovely dessert. I highly recommend the restaurant.

For what was served and at the speed in which it came was not good. I gave it a chance. Other places in Las Vegas do it better.

So many of the dishes were wonderful but the service was less than terrible! Except for what seemed like my personal sushi chef (because I was seated right in front of him) the wait staff could NOT have cared less that I was there. The sushi chef saved the day. Ordered a martini the moment I sat down...waited until half my meal WAS EATEN and asked three different people about it. At the sushi seats you order the cold dishes from the sushi chef and the hot from the waiter. Ordered miso soup and eggplant with rice. Twice. finished my sushi orders, waited...and waited...and waited...asked again...eggplant arrives...really wanted my soup first....ask about the soup....eat my eggplant, finished with food...soup will be right out...cancel it...soup arrives...really kind of unbelievable. I hate to say it but if you are a single woman - don't go here -- go somewhere they wait on you.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Nobu. Staff was very attentive. We each had the $50 saki flight which was very good. We had the price fix menu if 9 courses at $150 each. There was not one course that wasn’t good. The sashimi and sushi that came with it were excellent. We really loved the dessert with the green tea ice cream and molten lava cake. I especially liked that the molten lava cake was not too sweet.

As always, the food was spectacular! It really is my favourite Japanese restaurant. However, for the first time, at this location, the service wasn't excellent. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken, but we had to ask for a menu. As well, we did not get the same level of service we had gotten used to. While you always seem to have one main server, there is a whole group of people that are constantly taking away plates we are done with, asking if we need another drink, filling our water glasses, etc. This didn't happen with the same precision. As well, our main server didn't seem to be as aware of what was needed. We had to ask a buser for another drink. Had we not been to Nobu on numerous previous occasions, we likely wouldn't have notice the difference in the level of service. I suspect that this will be a "one-off" situation. We will still return for the food!

When you’re paying about 500 USD for a meal you expect all aspects of the experience to be up to par. I can definitely say that this experience was quite disappointing. I would not recommend the tasting menu for a variety of reasons. Each dish was brought out late, in 20-30 min intervals, with drinks also being prepared late. The music was awful and the servers were not up to fine dining standards. The food was good - but not worthy of tasting menu prices. Sushi and Sashimi were great, tempura and beef dishes were okay at best. Our waiter was unprofessional and we could barely hear him over the loud music, which seemed to annoy him. If you want a place to have a few drinks and some very good sushi, I can recommend it. If you want a dining experience, and expect a high level from every dish, I would not recommend it. Basically, If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, this is not the place.

We went to Nobu before a concert at The Joint at the Hard Rock. This Nobu is a smaller location but don't let that fool you. The food is all Nobu and the service is five star. Every recommendation we got on food was spot on. This was a special meal all the way around. One recommendation: The restroom is outside of the restaurant, across the casino floor by The Joint. If there is a concert that day/night, it will be crowded. So take care of that business before going inside Nobu!

The black cod was incredible. Overall, great service combined with excellent food. The wine list was also extensive. It is very expensive, so tough to say that it is a great value.

Went there for an evening out with my wife. Food was delicious, even for a guy like me who doesn't eat uncooked seafood 😀 Many choices to pick from. Service was great. Definitely would go again. As a side note, The HardRock just has a younger, more vibrant atmosphere that I really liked.

Some of the finest, if not the finest food you’ll ever be served. Service all but impeccable. Not for a timid budget ! Pay a babysitter and bring home McDonald’s if the sky’s not the limit !

We were going to have dinner with clients but they bailed. Enjoyed appetizers and drinks at the bar which were fine but the presentation was definitely not like the restaurant. Servers were all friendly and explained everything well.

Food was fantastic as was the service. I had the black cod miso and a yellow jalapeno roll, both were pretty much amazing and delicious. Portions small and very very expensive. Black Cod was $40, I think the roll was $12. Wine is great, but very expensive (about $14 a glass and up). Great dining experience, but be prepared to pay for it.

I was really looking forward to dining at Nobu’s yesterday. Unfortunately, our 6 person party got a rather small table and service was very slow. That’s probably because of the Consumer Electronics Show which brings loads of people to Vegas. It was also hard to have a good conversation because it was really loud. The food was good, but seemed overpriced. Given some of the better reviewers from other people I am likely to try Nobu again on a less busy day.

We went for a birthday dinner and we're very impressed with the amazing omakase. The sake flight was quite good as well and a nice compliment to the dinner!

Having been to Nobu before, I knew it was both tasty and expensive. But this time we didn’t feel the price was warranted. We enjoyed the food but weren’t as blown away by this location. Servers were very attentive, replacing our plates and refilling our water frequently. Loved the rock shrimp and black cod. Excellent. Sushi roll was average. We both thought the banana dessert had a strange-tasting sauce, but the ginger gelato on top was good. Next time, I’ll stick with Bonefish Grill and Seasons 52 which have excellent seafood for half the price.

The food is excellent though not quite sure it's worth the price. We had the black cod miso which I have had before and it's a favorite, seared scallops, jalapeño yellowtail sashimi and grilled octopus all were good. We had the toro/scallion, spicy scallop and rainbow roll which were all good too, though there are better sushi places. My only issue and why it's not 5 stars is the up-sale by the staff. Our waitress was great but we couldn't stand the constant suggestions of trying different dishes etc. I recognize the concept of the restaurant but at some point enough is enough and just let us order what we want. We will definitely be back.

Went for a birthday dinner with friends and we had a budget. Waiter was phenomenal! Extremely knowledgeable and super passionate about Japanese food. We had never eaten Japanese Food, so we literally gave him a $ amount we wanted to spend and he picked out all of our food. He asked up some basic questions and the courses just kept coming. We did not think we would like raw fish, but OMG amazing. I wish I could remember the waiters name...he was from Hawaii...not sure that narrows it down. This is a great restaurant sure not to disappoint!

If you have unlimited money, Nobu can be a great choice. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is great, the food is very good and very creative. Those things said, I don’t think it warrants the hype or the price. Definitely not your typical sushi place, but I’ve had better sushi elsewhere. The portions are small and the prices are outrageous. Do it for the experience, but not for necessarily a great meal.

NOBU is of course, one of the nicest sushi restaurants. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, I felt. The service was very good. It has a nice lounge area you can eat in, which we preferred to the dining room area.

It is always a pleasure to be spoiled by Nobu's staff. I will either chose the Signature or Seasonal meals and let the food come to me. The service is always wonderful and this time Max was truly pleasant. They will make sure that you don't miss your show if you have plans. Otherwise, you can relax and enjoy.

If you are looking to escape the craziness of the strip, venture to Nobu (at the hard rock cafe). One of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Phenomenal service and a great atmosphere.

My husband and I were staying at the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace while we were in Las Vegas for a concert. We weren't necessarily planning to eat at Nobu, but the restaurant was right there next door to the hotel and looked intriguing. We were able to get a reservation on fairly short notice and ate there with friends who were also in town. Although it's expensive, I would highly recommend the chef's signature Omakase (meaning "I'll leave it up to you") tasting menu. You get a seven-course meal tailored to your tastes. If you don't want eel, for example, or you dislike raw fish, you don't have to have it. And if there is something you do like, such as salmon roe sushi topped with a quail egg, the chef will be sure to include it. The food is not just Japanese, it's a kind of Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, so it's full of surprises. The first course was thinly sliced raw yellowtail topped with jalapeño peppers with a bit of soy sauce for dipping -- just delicious. Another outstanding offering were the tiny crispy tacos encircling tender beef or bits of king crab. The wagyu beef with grilled onions was another simple yet delicious dish. The large platter of sushi, including the salmon roe, came toward the end of the meal. We absolutely loved everything so I can't really single any particular dish out. Put yourselves in the hands of the wonderful chef, and you won't go wrong. We also got a flight of sake at the beginning of the meal, which fun to try. We ordered a couple of bottles of Conundrum white wine to go with the meal, and everyone thought it was a good choice. With all that, I have to say this was probably the most expensive meal I've ever had on the spur of the moment. If you don't want to spend about $200+ per person, you can order a la carte or sit at the sushi bar for a bite. If you are anywhere near Nobu, I would suggest giving it a try. We all agreed it was not just diner, it was an experience!

So the food is just spectacular (if you like/love japanese). They offer standard Japanese Sushi and Sashimi as well as an inventive menu. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Liquor and wine lists are substantial.

What a meal! This was our first time at Nobu and we definitely made sure we tried all the highlights. I had the tasting menu while my wife went ala carte. We left incredibly satisfied although I did feel like the sushi rice was a little dry. We made sure to try the A5 wagyu and the Black Cod Miso and they did not disappoint. We had the A5 tataki style. Next time around we should try it on a hot rock. Tataki was fine but we've had the hot rock before and enjoy that more. Shout out to our server Brittany who really knew her stuff. It helps to have a well trained server to really enjoy your meal.

Jeffrey our waiter was AWESOME, he made our night! Every plate and every drink had a story for him to tell. We decided to go with a No Limit Tasting Menu, so once we were full, we stopped. There were lots of plates, and did not know the names of every single one My favorite were: -Toro with truffle -wagyu a5 -Toro Nigiris -Ecuadorian hot sauce -Chocolate filled buns as dessert. The Lychee martini and the Akashi white oak and Sherry Cask single malt whisky were amazing, you get your imported ice with Nobu logo. Will i come back after 400 usd a person? YES i will to get my favorite plates and try new ones. Great service, great food and great atmosphere

The food is really great but the wait is just excruciating Reservation at 8pm 30 minutes wait to be seated and people around us very unhappy about the wait too Seated in a nice place but a lot of wait to get a waitress to take orders and more wait between dishes We know Nobu from Dubai and aspen and love it As I said food is really great but you should do something with the staff

With an 8:00 pm show deadline, we still decided to make 6:00 pm (when they open) Nobu reservations. We did a seven course dinner with a bottle of wine. Although we usually pick our selections, due to our time constraints, we rolled with the chef's selections. Each course was outstanding and the wait staff attentive. Usually a two hour+ time frame for dining is best at this restaurant but our waiter kept the dishes timely but not forced with our shorter window. As a bit of advice, get some practice with our chopsticks before you go....it enhances the experience.

As there are many terrific restaurants in Vegas you just about can’t go wrong anywhere. Such is the case with Nobu in the Hardrock Casino. The larger Nobu is in Caesar’s palace and is difficult to get a table in without significant advanced planning. If you don’t mind winding through the smokey Hardrock then the pearl in the oyster is waiting for you at Nobu! We have eaten there several times and always had the tasting menu paired with saki. The service is excellent and the food is out of this world for sushi lovers who also enjoy good saki!! The staff is on par with the finest venues in Vegas as well.

Great Japanese cuisine...top of the list for your visit to fine dining in Las Vegas ...but pricey as one would expect, especially with Kobe on the menu and superb Miso cod, tartares, sashimis and so much more.

You can tell right away that this is a high end restaurant when you walk in the door. Yes, it's nice inside, but the service is what I think makes the best impression first. We were greeted and brought to our table, introduced to our wait staff and were handed menus. Opening the menu is an experience in itself; imagine you are in Toyko and dining in the city on a weekend, that feeling of exclusivity and creativity abound. While standard sushi dishes and selections are available, my suggestion would be to go for some of the unique and custom meal selections. Another reviewer mentioned that the size of your entre' will be small, that's how it is when you dine at a high-end establishment. My guest ordered the Creamy Spicy Crab and a saki which I figured would be small, so I also ordered an appetizer to start. I chose the Snow Crab Sashimi Salad and it was an excellent choice. Very fresh and tasty. With Sushi, the temperature is critical. The rice must be cool but not cold or warm. The fish should be cold but not still frozen. I've been to a particular restaurant where they didn't pay attention to such details. It's not like picking up a sushi container at the supermarket, it must be perfect in presentation and flavor. Nobu did not disappoint in that regard. I chose the Japanese Snapper with Dry Miso and it was superb. Along with dinner, I also had Sake. We had an enjoyable dining experience, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was elegant, the company was wonderful and then there's the check. While I knew it was going to be expensive, it was a bit pricier than I had thought. Not a problem really, but it was not an inexpensive meal. So for me, special occasion restaurants like this are perfect for that very special time when you want to impress and enjoy!

And it was a toss up as to which was better, they were both excellent. Another successful request for uni with quails eggs, excellent. Our server kept bringing us unusual dishes and they were all so good, we frequently asked for additional orders, capped off with a dozen oysters with half a dozen different preparations. First class all the way!

Dined here alone on a solo bday trip to the Virgin hotel. Al and all the other wait staff were very welcoming & hospitable:) Yellowtail/caviar tartar, tempura shiitake mushrooms, miso soup, and chef sushi selection (especially the yellowtail w miso glaze) was all phenomenal

My husband and I did the signature omakase. The food was so delicious and we left stuffed. The service was impeccable.

We had a fantastic experience at Nobu in the Hard Rock Cafe. Our waiter was Mason Gilbert who had an incredible knowledge of Nobu and it's menu. In fact, we never even saw a menu as Mason asked lots of questions and custom made our dining experience based on tastes and flavours we liked. The food was absolutely amazing and the cocktails too!! One minor point was when we arrived we advised we were cold so the waiter (not Mason) brought over hot sake to warm us up. We barely drank this (as it doesn't taste great!) yet $16 was added to the bill for it. Having had such a great experience I didn't want to mention this at the time but none the less worth stating. Thank you Mason for making our Nobu experience one to remember!

We love Nobu and come here every time we come to Vegas. It is very pricey, if you do it right with the tasting menu, but worth it! We did the pescatarian menu - fabulous! Can’t wait for a Nobu in Seattle.

Staff way too pretentious bordering on annoying. Made a great food experience uncomfortable... staff too scripted and didn’t allow us to direct our desires, kept trying to up sell the food. Having said that, the miso black cod at Nobu is still the best ever anywhere. With the visit just for that, but beware of the pushy sales staff.....

We were staying in town and glad we went, had lobster tacos miso black cod and tempura shrimp all were exceptional nice to see some Italian wines on the list service was friendly and professional

Not a great setting for Nobu. Nobu should have been set up at The Wynn. As for restaurant design, it isn’t. Black cod was perfectly cooked. Otherwise I was underwhelmed. Some Nobu restaurants tick every box and are so good I just keep returning. But given Nobu is franchised it depends on the operator. Also, having to walk all the way through a smoky casino to reach Nobu guarantees all your clothes will smell of cigarettes when you leave. I ordered a bottle of the hot sake. It was awful.

Very beautiful restaurant and decor really grabs your attention. If you really love food you will love this place. Their concepts for dishes is really unique and delicious. You will definitely need a reservation. Remember this is not in Caesar’s it’s at Virgin or old Hard Rock-on paradise. Our driver took us to Caesar’s before I corrected him.

First of all, know right from the start that the Nobu experience is excellent in New York City, and it is actually excellent here. The biggest difference is in New York there is much more food served and for less money. We dropped $420, with no dessert and only one drink each. They sent out 7 plates total, which averages with tip $60 a plate. The plates only have a small amount of food on it to be shared with the two of us. Which would be fine, since it gives plenty of opportunity for you to try everything. However there were only 7 plates, and I could have easily tried another 2-3 plates no problem, and I am an average guy in height and build. We ate at Nobu last week in New York and paid a hair less money, but ate like a king. We were absolutely stuffed. Dont get me wrong. The food was very good here, but I am rating it average, because it honestly just isnt worth eating here. There is nothing worse than spending this kind of money on food and leaving hungry.

Made a reservation for a weeknight-not sure that was necessary, since it never filled up. But, the food-ordered family style was great. The waiter had excellent suggestions, and the cocktails were good too. Highly recommend it if you like seafood!

The freshness and quality of the food is unbelievable. The waiters were very knowledgable in each of the dishes served. This is japanese fine dining at its best.

Nobu is a hidden gem inside the Hard Rock Hotel.. The service, the food, presentations as well as the knowledge of the staff made my first experience very enjoyable.

Delicious sushi, very creative presentation and combinations of ingredients. Very little food for the price (we went for the chef’s menu) is the only downside

We were at Nobu for a private dinner. It is fine dinning and one of my most memorable meals. My husband had things he would not have tried before, I love all food. However, this was a step above. Our host had the meal planned and it was about 10 courses of everything imaginable. When they start bringing out Kobi beef, you know you are in the right place. I totally recommend Nobu and can't wait to go back.

I have several food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free and diary-free) and our waiter (Josh) created an amazing menu. Josh shared my restrictions with the chef and brought out many dishes that were phenomenal. Josh is very knowledgable of Nobu's history and the food. It was comforting to know that all my food restrictions were met without any issues.

Have loved this restaurant for years, this time- I felt let down. Not sure what is going on but like some of the other reviewers stated the portion size for the price and quality is out of control. First-the service is amazing, beyond reproach. The problem starts with the food. We had a scallop app. That was $34 and it was 1 scallop cut into thin slices. It was very good but not great-common $34?? We had a fish app. That was 6 small pieces of fish that wasn't very good. Finally, we had the black cod. It was very good but not as good as past visits. These small portions and a glass of wine each, with tip it was $180......you decide. Writing an "average" review for them is hard for me, this has been one of my favorite restaurants. Unless I hear there have been changes, not sure I will go back.

I really love the Nobu, not only in Vegas but all around the globe. I'm always rating it with 5 stars, but not this time! We had a reservation at 21.30 and we got there at 21.27. When I tried to ask about our reservation, she interrupted me rudely, not even asked about our reservation and told us to wait at the bar. After 25 minutes I asked her what was the reason of the delay and after a short but vivid conversation, she told me to speak with her supervisor. I did that and magically, after 3 minutes they got us a table...

I wanted to take my wife on a special date to the world famous Nobu. Unfortunately, what we got was the equivalent of subpar grocery store sushi rolls and over salted entrees! What a scam! Entrees arrived before cocktails. Cocktails were ok. But the worst was the food, as it was that of a Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, chain style restaurant. At the end of the day, our experience was underwhelming. and the price for this lame experience was OVERWHELMING! NEVER AGAIN!

This is about my tenth trip to this Nobu location and I visited for dinner at a very busy time. That said and unlike ever before I had this feeling that I was being rushed through my meal. I had been advised even before my seating that we would have only 90 minutes to dine. Not ideal but manageable. But once we sat down not even a menu was proffered. Instead our server said tell me what you like and our team would pick fitting dishes. Perhaps it was my pre-sensitization but I didn't particularly appreciate that prior to being offered a menu full of dishes I really enjoy. Now for the bight side of our dinner. Pretty much everything served was spot on delicious. From the Yellow Tail/Jale and Toro apps to the Rock shrimp and sashimi. All wonderful. The food here will keep bringing me back provided the service doesn't continue on its odd trajectory.

Very knowledgeable wait staff that helped us with both the beverage menu and food selections. My first time, but my friends had enjoyed the restaurant many times previously. Food presentation was great, I highly recommend the Black Cod.

Lovely decor, good sized portions on the meat dishes, ideal for sharing with an extra rice. Korean beef dish was our favourite. We ate here several times during our stay and enjoyed every meal.

Had dinner at the sushi bar last night. Ordered a Rainbow Roll (which is not on the menu) a tuna/avocado roll and a piece of unagi (eel). The sushi rolls were much smaller than I am use to getting and were double the price. None of it tasted fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for fresh sushi at a reasonable price. All in with one gin and tonic my meal cost $105.00.

The food and staff is always top notch! I love the rock shrimp and kobe beef. Never disappoints! Call ahead though because this tends to be a popular place to eat in Vegas.

Yes, the sushi is innovative and beautifully presented, but what really makes this place sing is the waitstaff, host and setting. I sat at the sushi bar, but the tables were equally inviting with soft lighting. The sushi chefs were friendly, very helpful and really listened to all of my specific preferences, as they made delicious suggestions ....not just for my appetite, but also mindful of my budget. They have a tasting menu of three courses that begins at $125, but they were willing to accommodate my wishes...and I'm grateful. Hieu, a master sushi chef, took excellent care of me, and created some hand rolls and sashimi that were exquisite. The service and care that I was given exceeded nearly any other restaurant I've visited and for that alone, I would hurry back. My four star rating only reflects that for 8 ounces of hot sake, I was charged $38. WHAT??? I was forewarned, but at my local sushi joint, that same carafe goes for about $6! Still, must endorse fabulous service, beautiful sushi and a elegant setting. Well done and thank you Nobu.

Come once a year to Vegas and always include nobu restaurant at Caesar’s. Again a great time and Billy is an awesome waiter. Really enjoyed our experience

Just yes!!! Best nobu in the world!! I’ve been to nobu on most continents and this one has THE BEST vibe, THE best service, THE BEST cocktails and THE BEST wagu!! I recommend a million times

I was expecting the experience to be overrated and it wasn’t at all; it was worth the hype. I have a gluten allergy and they had plenty of options. I had the spicy tuna cut roll, a wagyu roll, brussel sprouts, and the bento box dessert. Every bite of everything was perfect and our server was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I didn’t like how people kept interrupting us to wipe the table but maybe some people like that. It was priced in the same ballpark as any other nice Vegas restaurant

I recently dined at Nobu in the Hard Rock Hotel. It was a phenomenal meal and a great experience. I have been to multiple Nobu restaurants and this one rates. We decided to let the waiter select our meals after picking the Nobu Classic Tasting at $125 a head. We had Juan and this guy rocks - if you can get him on your table - do it. He was attentive and listened to preferences and allergies before taking us on a wonderful taste journey. One of my party was new to sushi and he started her with easier things before moving to more challenging things. But his selections were excellent and enjoyable even for the sushi pros at the table. The black cod in lettuce was incredible. The wine list is tight and not aggressively priced. The service was attentive from water refills to food delivery to wine assistance. All super. It’s one of the smaller Nobu I have been to - perhaps on a par with Malibu. It’s much more intimate than the Nobu in Caesars (which is also excellent). If you want some a great meal with super service and delicious sushi. Hit Nobu.

I'll never look at sushi the same way. The fish is the freshest you'll ever find and the sushi is like no other. Highly recommend everything about this restaurant from the staff, to the ambience, to the cocktails. They're spectacular!

The Nobu name carries a ton of weight in the restaurant world, and for good reason: His restaurants are near the top of the Japanese cuisine world. This location is no different. This is a absolutely beautiful restaurant, with a killer, but expensive menu. Ordered quite a number of entrees: from sea bass in black bean miso to Alaskan king crab in brown butter. We also tried rock shrimp tempura, and the seared scallops. All was excellent; with the king crab being the most memorable. Our only sushi items were the yellowtail, which was quiet tasty, and the Japanese snapper, which was somehow even better. Nobu is so much more than just a fancy sushi spot: The entrees and appetizers here are worth looking at for sure. Service here was excellent. Everything was brought out hot and on the spot. Glasses were kept full as well. The only drawback of Nobu is, of course, the price. From the appetizers to the drinks, everything here is pricey. But, it’s Vegas, so it’s expected... Lol. Besides, as we all agreed, we’d eat here again in a heartbeat: As this place is worth the splurge. Enjoy...

We did Omakase. There was so much food. Each dish was great. Our server was very attentive. We let them pick and everything and it was very enjoyable. This was a business dinner and all parties really enjoyed the dining. We did the Nobu champagne and that was also very tasty.

Fantastic service, and the food was awesome. We had the signature which allowed us to sample all of the chefs specialties. Every course was outstanding. We would eat here again in a second.

This was overall a disappointing experience. First off, the quality of the food (meat and fish) was out standing and the presentation was beautiful. We were a party of 4 and ordered 'Omakase - Las Vegas'. First disappointment was that each course consisted of 9 pieces - for 4 people - meant that we had to take turns on the last piece. I wonder if only one person ordered omakase, would they have received 2 1/4 pieces? Second disappointment...While omakase means chef's choice, in Japan, it's generally a chance for the chef to share his/her best skills to try and delight the customer. When our sushi course arrived, it was a rainbow roll - not exactly the height of a sushi chef's skills. Third disappointment: at the end of the meal we ordered two additional orders of Miso Black Cod...It was delicious, but in the end, for $760 worth of food for 4 people we left hungry. Overall, I had high expectations, but felt like it was a mid-level experience.

While I enjoyed my meal at Nobu and would dine there again, our experience was a bit strange. Our server came to our table quickly and offered us an appetizer (which we ordered), but it probably took 20 minutes for us to receive menus. (We began to wonder if it were a menu-less restaurant, like they only serve the catch of the day or something.) Once we had menus, our server did a great job of answering our questions and handling my gluten-free requests. We enjoyed our food, but when they cleared our plates, they took my half-finished cocktail. Had I not been mid-conversation and noticed when they did this, I would have stopped them. My friends told the server about my birthday and they brought some lovely sorbet for us to share, but there was a "special occasion" charge on the bill, which my friends thought strange since they didn't actually order anything; the dessert just came. So. Great food? Yes. Perfect experience? No. The sushi is next level, though, so I'd still likely return.

For the third time in four years, I made it to Nobu. The eel was good! I don’t eat eel typically. The Black Cod was amazing as usual! The hamachi Kama was tasty, but not for me really. The tuna with jalapeños was out of this world! The small taco was outstanding too, but I can’t remember what the protein was. The service we received was so attentive. We were cared for in the best possible way!

The food was good, but I've had much better, less expensive food. I've been to many high end restaurants, also in Las Vegas, and find this one overpriced and overhyped. Not my place, there are too many better options around.

For years we dreamt of eating in a Nobu restaurant because we liked all the cookbooks and read good reviews. Finally we were able to visit one of the restaurants in Las Vegas in december 2018. We made our reservations ahead of time bij email from Europe and ordered the full special 7 course new years eve menu with nice wines. When we arrived our reservation was lost. After some discussion we were given a table. The food was realy simple and nothing special, we could put it together at home. Maybe Nobu used to be special but they have certainly not done anything to stay updated! It was a very expensive big disapointment.

We had a group of ten and the waiter suggested that he and the Chef would decide our meal choices subject to our budget, allergies, likes, dislikes, etc. They did it all and everyone loved it. Asian and fish, sushi focused menu. Excellent food and service.

I recently went here with friends for a dining experience which I admit was quite nice. My friends were high rollers and used to getting a comp for their outrageous gambling SO I was prepared for a large bill which is UNAVOIDABLE here. However, in defense of the restaurant, the service is top notch and the sushi as well as the Kobe beef were quite incomparable. I wanted to stick to OMAKASE which is sushi bar fare at the chef's discretion. It's usually a good experience although it'll run at least $150 MINIMUM and that's BEFORE ANY ALCOHOL! However, my friends were INTENT on an a la carte experience SO there was LOTS of OTORO Tuna and Kobe Beef to be had as well as TONS of premium sake. I'm pretty sure my tab came to over $300 BUT I'm positive that it could've been even more. Reservations are a MUST. IF you ask for recommendations, they'll ALL steer you towards the MOST expensive food or sake on the menu. You have been warned!

I attended dinner last night with a colleague and two customers. We had the midrange chef assortment which consisted of two to three courses of sashimi, scallops, a cooked fish, wagyu beef and three sushi rolls. The flavors were outstanding. I the use of sauces, spices and vegetables complimented the fish selections tremendously. I highly recommend the barracuda sashimi which is served with roe, garlic and minced arugula.

I went last time I was in Vegas for a late lunch and had some simple nigiri, sushi, etc and was caught off guard by how great it was given it was literally just a quick drop in for a late afternoon snack. So this last weekend, I and some friends surprised my with a trip to Vegas for her 40th BDay and Nobu was her decision for her big night out dinner. We had seven of us and opted for one of their "dining experiences" that was on their lower end of about $150 a person before drinks. Obviously, that price point sets the bar fairly high out the gate. But the waitstaff was amazing, including our waitress. She nailed timing (had a show), the support staff kept things going and clean and the kitchen killed nearly everything. There were multiple cold dishes to start with that were all very good. The highlight for each one of us was the Alaskan Black Cod in a miso glaze. It was the best fish I've ever had! The closest thing to a "complaint" we may have had was the sushi rolls that came towards the end. They were all quite good, but kind of fell flat after the amazing food that came before. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience and everyone had a wonderful time!

Wanted to try this restaurant and wow, the food was amazing! No waiting, seated upon arrival. The interior was clean and pleasant. Bathroom was well kept. I consumed the most amazing sushi (Raw tuna) and beef. This place is excellent. The price is higher then normal but worth every dollar!

A staff so indulgent they are annoying. Servers who have been programmed to describe and up sell the menu but couldn't answer simple questions that even novice sushi diners know. A "seven course meal" served on one large plate with little flair or creativity. Basic fresh fish but nothing special either in taste or garnish. Prices twice that of far better restaurants like Hansuanna in NYC or Takashi in Salt Lake City. Ten dollars for a dollop of fresh wasabi brought to the table after we were nearly done with the meal. Managing partner Richie Notar needs to shake this place up. There are only so many novice sushi eaters to take advantage of. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to this version of Nobu.

Finally decided to dine at a Nobu location and really glad I did! Enjoyed the 7 course premium meal, courtesy of a Travelzoo deal, and absolutely loved it! It was a great mix of sushi with cooked dishes. The truffle hitter sea bass and wagyu steak as mains is as good as any fish/beef dish I’ve had. Highly recommend it!

We had a Great experience, from the entrance until the end it was everything good. The Sushi and other food was amazing!!

Outstanding dining experience. This location will do the omakase family style. The sushi and sashimi was fresh with interesting flavors. We also had the ribeye which was delicious. Service was outstanding. Definitely need reservations.

This is some of the best food I have had in 15 years. We choose to allow our waiter to pick our meal and he was fantastic. Each course was better than the one before. Quite pricey but well worth the money

This restaurant is an abomination of Nobu. In no way, shape or form should this be associated with the Nobu name. The food was not up to Nobu's standards. The ambiance was terrible. We had reservations and they tried to seat us at a cramped table. We insisted that we would prefer to eat in the bar area which was slightly more acceptable. I would not return nor would I recommend.

This was our first time at Nobu, the service was good and servers were very attentive. However, there was a lot of up-selling, the server seemed disappointed with our order (as we weren’t spending over $200). We were frequently asked if we wanted to order more and given suggestions for other dishes. The food we ordered was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Just be aware that portions are on the smaller size.

We went to Nobu for my daughters birthday. Everything we had was super delish. Highly recommend to order yellow tail sashimi with jalapeño, rock shrimp tempura, black cod miso. Make sure to save room for dessert, I don’t know the name of it, it has white chocolate mouse with fruits....it’s so good! We got lucky to get Troy as our server. He is so helpful and very attentive.

Haven't been to this Nobu in years...and I'm thrilled with the Vegas location. Our service was top notch, the food was fanulous and i really do adore the ambiance and decor of this restaurant. Just outstanding!

I really love the off the strip location as it is easy to get a table and less crowded. Went in March for a birthday dinner and the food and service is always great. Try the Açaí cocktail, specialty rolls and bento box for desert.

We were able to make a same day dinner reservation for 6:30 pm for 2. Tried sashimi, oysters and the lobster and shrimp hot dish. All wonderful ... especially the uni sashimi. The waiter mixed up one of our orders and they let us keep the spicy shrimp and brought out the correct dish. Very attentive wait staff.

A reservation had been made by some colleagues. The restaurant was busy and quite noisy. We asked the waiter to make some recommendations. The food was nothing short of stunning. It’s not cheap but definitely worth every cent.

Make a reservation as it fills up quickly. Arriving at 6:45pm for our rezy, we were seated at a comfy table with a full view of the restaurant. Our Groupn set menu was very good as such. The opener was fried 'something' that was meh, but the sashimi was terrific, sushi decent, but the scallops and cod courses the bomb! Sensible service - very informative.

I am a huge sushi fan and very picky to say the least. This is probably some of the best sushi I have had in a longtime, and definitely the best I have had since moving out of the SF Bay Area. Many dishes that are not on other menus, and they also have Wagyu with various preparations available. I cannot wait to go back for another excellent experience!

This was my first domestic Nobu experience. I've had my fair share of international experiences visiting Nobu locations in Dubai, Cape Town & Doha to name a few. This experience was bitter sweet. Location left a lot to be desired. The Hard Rock Hotel is one of the older hotels in Vegas and you could see that in the restaurant. The decor was familiar but seemed a little dated. On the bright side I managed to get a table right away on a Friday night. The staff was great. Very attentive & helpful when explaining the menu & making great suggestions. Another consistent thing with my previous Nobu experiences was the FOOD! Absolutely devine. I had a prearranged tasting menu that was delicious. The tasting menu consistented of 6 courses ranging from oysters on a half shell to steak to a lovely dessert. I heard the Nobu at Ceasar's is nicer but the food and service here was very good. I think this location is probably a more lowkey experience. But good just the same.

Not about to question the historical significance of Nobuyuki Matsuhisa or Nobu Restaurant’s role in popularizing Sushi across the globe it was with some trepidation and also wonder about how the concept had aged that dinner was booked Saturday evening inside The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the answer precisely as expected and whether that is a “good” or bad thing difficult to unravel. A “best new Restaurant” winner in 1995 and now with a worldwide empire including hotels such as the boutique piece of Caesars’ and its first floor eatery, it was in 2007 that Nobu TriBeCa was first experienced, memories undoubtedly faded since but the overall theme recalled to be disinterested service and high prices for not much Food and a look at the current menu shows the latter to have only grown more ridiculous, $20 for two King Crab Tacos compared to $18 for three topped with Lobster in the past but one example. Allowing for inflation but hoping service would perhaps show the level of care Las Vegas has proven capable of in other Celebrity Chef offshoots, personal support of The Hard Rock and its eateries as frequently being far better than most give them credit for aside, it was after navigating a floor of folks in town for Psychofest that the Restaurant was located and reservations confirmed, the fact that the room was completely full not entirely surprising though the range of patrons from dolled-up bachelorettes to guys with well over fifty visible tattoos was certainly interesting. Predictably employing a pretty staff to work below moody-lighting and thumping bass, Nobu’s look always photogenic even in the days before Instagram, it was after passing on the bottled water and Sake up-sell that the server inquired whether guests were interested in seeing the menu or allowing for Chef’s Choice, a “variety of price points” ranging from $80 to $200 described and $100 settled on as a number though this certainly is not Omakase. Truly an odd manner of ordering, the Chefs entirely removed from the decision making and this tasting instead crafted by a server who simply chooses items a la carte and builds a running tally of which guests are reminded as though participating some sort of monetary ‘race,’ it was with nine thin slices of slightly snappy White Fish for $25 that dinner got started, a touch of Aji Pepper adding heat but the Fish’s quality likely no better than what one might find at a place advertising “All you can eat.” Next presenting an equal portion of Salmon at the same price per slice, the aforementioned “race” sure to be a sprint instead of marathon, it seems Nobu’s idea of “New” still inhabits an era pre-Millennium as a flood of Ponzu and Sesame plus one peeled Tomato hardly looks novel while thoroughly obscuring the fish’s flavor, the aforementioned Tacos offered next at least showcasing their ingredients, though considering the $9-10 per bite cost one would be better off simply adding more Nigiri, albeit only slightly. Dropping a $28 bowl of lightly heated Rock Shrimp Tempura next, the Crustaceans themselves at best U-30 and in no way superior to those found on the A.Y.C.E. Buffet at The Palms, it was from a young female server supporting a large Lobster dish in her other hand that Nobu’s famous Miso Sea Bass was soon ‘presented,’ little more than “eat the Ginger last to cleanse the palate” stated as she scampered off and the $40 filet with a $2 surcharge for “Dry Miso Style” still quite good but certainly not as special as when it debuted nearly twenty-five years ago. Adding insult to injury with a $12 California Roll and Nigiri featuring over-sweetened and mushy Rice below $6 slices of average Albacore and Fluke, it was finally copping Michel Bras’ 1981 recipe for “Lava Cake” that dinner came to an end, the Chocolate undoubtedly of good quality as was the bitter-sweet Gelato but the $260 tab more a reminder of precisely why Nobu is rich than a justifiable expense to sit in a “cool” place eating below-average Food. ONE AND A HALF STARS: No doubt making a mistake in ordering pseudo-Chef’s Choice, a server barely old enough to drink and his staff of runners who could care less about things like empty water glasses or lingering dirty plates hardly someone to trust as there is no monetary “value” in the Tasting versus ordering a la carte, one must thank Chef Matsuhisa for his contributions and ability to both build and maintain an empire, though for discerning diners there is nothing to see here and there has not been for years.

exzellent service and magnificent. food! You will be asked if you want to chose á la carte or if they should make something up for you: have them do it for you! We told them what we would like to have and the chef made up an individual dinner for each of us we will all never forget! quite expensive, but a true gourmet experience!

I am obsessed! The Blacked Cod is simply Perfection! Best seafood that I have ever had! You must start with the Sweet chili style Edamame & Crisy Rice with Tuna! Waiter was excellent to help guide us through menu. Timing was great. Cocktail was unique and tasty! This is a must!

Amazing food. Hands down a great culinary effort. But the overwhelmed staff were not able to provide a fine dining experience. Management accepted way too many reservations and completely undermined the experience. 20 minutes to get a cocktail before being seated under a flickering light. A horrible way to start a $200/ person meal. Staff was professional and friendly. Again, food was amazing. Only reason this rating isn't a 1 star is because the kitchen staff is legit. But seriously, Nobu management, the way you run this restaurant would be an insult to the Japanese tradition of a meal prepared and served with precision.

I had been to this restaurant years ago, and at the time it was a meal to remember. We went back this time for dinner, and it was surprisingly disappointing. The service wasn't good (the waiter couldn't even answer a basic question about the menu and was on the rude side), and the sushi we ate was AT BEST average. I would have been disappointed even if this meal was served at a local place back home but to come to Vegas for a Nobu experience and pay those prices to have average food is not acceptable. The only good thing I can say is that the presentations are beautiful, but it didn't make up for everything else. I was sorry I "wasted" a dinner here, wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.

So I always wondered how a place can get a 3 star rating, then I found out! Good Food, HORRIBLE SERVICE! It took 3 TIMES, PRACTICALLY BEGGING MY SERVER, Before he finally brought a menu. I don't need YOU making MY food decisions. I'M GROWN, I'M AN ADULT, and I DEFINITELY DON'T NEED YOU RECOMMENDING THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS. All in All, this place is WAY OVER-PRICED, for very little food. I'm literally writing this, sitting across the street, at another restaurant because we are all still hungry... after spending $100 already! Just BEWARE!

All though it is on the expensive side. It is all worthwhile! Service is very helpful and has an expert management of Nobu's Menu. So trust their recomendations and let your palate endulge in a wonderful journey of texture and creative notes of japanese cusine.

There is no question that almost everything served here has impeccable flavor. The fish is very fresh and presented well. However considering the prices, expectations are very high. The miso soup was not good, tasted by all four of us. Also it was served just as they gave us the bill. Really poor timing.

Doesn’t get any better than this. Sushi is truly art here..and the art if that of the greats. You feel like they just fished it out of the ocean.

Nobu you made my son's 21st birthday so amazing. We loved every second. What made you food amazing was the jeffrey's service. You waiter is simply alive and energized. He really needs to be recognized. the bus person kept hitting our plates or dropping something. I thought he was on his best night so I let it go but Jeffrey brought in a good vibe. Thank you for everything.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa combines Japanese and Peruvian cuisines in a way that elevates both. If you are lucky enough to have a server like Columbia, follow his recommendations for a wonderful dining experience. He know how to pair saki with Nobu's dishes and is very knowledgeable about the chef's philosophy and about the preparation of the food. All things considered, this was great value for the money. A marvelous dinner that left us completely satisfied without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had to try NOBU. The staff is amazing however the food did not impress. Everything was so over seasoned that we did not enjoy the true flavors of our courses. Very nice atmosphere and presentation of food. Very nice setting and excellent staff.

Came here for the first time. The first thing you will notice is the excellent attentive service and knowledge of the staff. From waiters to servers. The quality of the food was superb and the flavors of each dish was awesome and unique. I did have a good experience when I ate the wavy tacos. Incredible. A bit over priced but a nice experience.

I dined here twice in the past couple weeks. Once with work friends, and once with my wife for our anniversary. The first time, we sat at the sushi bar and had primarily sushi. Everything was amazing. With my wife, we opted for a table and were treated to a meal based on our likes, dislikes, and budget (not a budget restaurant). We were treated to a couple sushi appetizers, some amazing steak, more sushi, and a simple but delicious fried banana dessert. Everything I've had there is amazing, as is the service.

the sushi nigiri, mackerel, was terrible, the wagyu also terrible, we ate only the appetizer and ask for the check , 200.00 with no alcohol, and left. will never return. Is a tourist trap

We had the best waiter. Everything that he suggested was absolutely delicious. Well worth the price.

We made the unfortunate mistake of eating here the first night we arrived to Vegas - after that no other restaurant compared! We went to other restaurants and always said, “this is good, but not as good as Nobu!!” -Location- Nobu was at the Hard Rock Hotel and was very near the main entrance. No walking half a mile through a hotel to get to a restaurant like some other places. -The Wait- We arrived pretty late (around 10pm) and there was absolutely no wait. -Service- Great service. Never felt neglected. Server was friendly and helpful. He suggested different dishes and we took his advice on a few dishes and weren’t disappointed. -Food- The best dish for us was the Toro Carpaccio. It was 6 pieces of toro with a truffle and gluten free soy sauce + truffle shavings on top + some other things I can’t remember. We also had a white fish Tiradito and a yellowtail jalepeno - both with a citrus sauce. (Our server had the forethought to break up these citrus dishes ). Lastly we had a Wagyu beef gyoza - yum yum. The server recommended two desserts: bento box (has a flourless chocolate cake) and white chocolate pot de creme. We loved both but the bento box dessert has stayed at the top of all the desserts we tried during our weekend in Vegas. -Price- Not cheap. About $25 for those dishes above (not including tax and tip). -Dress Code- We arrived straight from the airport and decided on Nobu as we were exiting the airport. So all we had on was black jeans, t-shirt (covered with a jacket). I felt underdressed compared to others, but also saw people with jeans and a shirts. We weren’t turned away and didn’t feel treated less than. Overall a truly amazing food experience.

We paid for a coupon that covered a 7 course meal for 2. The deal was extremely expensive even with the coupon. Some of the courses we pretty good. The primerib and the desert were especially good. Other courses were not that good. One of them was fish covered in salsa verde, but it only tasted like salsa verde. The service was good and everything was explained to us. We ordered a few drinks, but in one case they brought us the wrong beer.

The Nobu in the Virgin Hotel is truly a gem - hidden in the Virgin Hotel. The atmosphere is clean but stylish, the service is authentically good and attentive. You do yourself the biggest favor by letting the service take over, setting a budget and just letting it happen. The initial sashimi was a dream, the following dishes up to the final sushi and dessert were simply delicious. You should bring $150-200 per person, but otherwise it is highly recommended!

My husband and I eat out a lot...and I have worked at some of the highest end restaurants in our city...but I was BLOWN AWAY by our dining experience at Nobu in Vegas. We went because of the name and knew it would be pricey. So with that in mind, we went all out. Our waiter was wonderful and asked us if we would like to experience Nobu the way it should be. "Of course", we said. So he asked us our price point (I recommend no less than $150/person), if we had any allergies and if we liked spicy food. Once he was satisfied with our answers, we settled in for a great night of food and service. All of the dishes were protein based...no potatoes, rice, pasta, etc. The dishes are served tapas style with garnish in the middle of the plate. The server reminded us that we needed to include the garnish in every bite. We experienced this for 7 servings (plenty of food!!) and then finally a plate of tiny desserts arrived. It was not just dinner, it was an adventure! One that we have decided to do once/year for our anniversary...it was THAT special!! If you aren't as adventurous as us, you can request a menu and order items ala carte too. We will be back next year!

This is a wonderful fine dining experience with exceptional service and unique entrees. Here are my tips: 1. Order the Yellowtail and salmon sashimi. Both are delicious. 2. Share the the lobster tacos - they were out of this world. 3. Be prepared to splurge. We ordered 7 things to share for our table of four and three drinks. Our bill was $300 (with tip). 4. Consider sitting at the sushi counter and letting one of the chefs make your dinner while you watch. This is a very busy place. We ate on the earlier side (6:15) and we were seated immediately (we had a reservation) and the service was very attentive. There were people lined up to get in when we left.

Upscale restaurant, good Japanese food, good enough choices for vegetarian food. Wait staff is also very courteous. They have a cooking cart where one can sit around and eat freshly cooked food in front of you but it was not available for vegetarian. Also that cart had fried rice option but there was not vegetable rice option which can certainly make a good filling option.

I had the lychee elderflower martini, a baked crab handroll, the tuna ginger tosazu (strong ginger flavor), salmon sushi, a wagyu taco, and the crispy okra. Everything was amazing except a spicy sauce in the baked crab handroll. I asked about spicy food so the waitress knew I didn't want spicy, so when I took a bite and realized it was spicy I stopped eating it. Apparently one bite means you're being charged, which was disappointing.

We chose Nobu because 9 of us had tickets for Raiding the Rock Vault in the same hotel. We all agreed that the food was good (especially the blackened cod) but the price was excessive. The size of our group triggered a mandatory "family" menu which was $125 per person plus drinks. If money doesn't matter and/or you just won big in the casino,Nobu would be for you.

From the moment we entered, to the moment we left every staff member was friendly, polite and kind. This was our first visit to this Nobu, so there were some dishes unfamiliar to us, but our server gave us some recommendations based on what else we had ordered, all of which we loved. All the food was amazing, as it always is at Nobu. Out of the 3 Nobus in Las Vegas, this is definitely the best despite its more rustic and less stylish decor. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit.

One of our friends who visits Vegas very frequently recommended to us Nobu. He said it was his favorite sushi place anywhere. He failed to mention that this place is like no other and considering it a sushi place is almost offensive to what it really is. When sitting down, I was surprised they didn't immediately give us menus, instead, our server told us he would rather take a moment to get to know us before offering customized recommendations. WHAT? I reluctantly agreed and he kept the menu he had in his arms. He asked us several questions about things we liked, what we had tried before and what would be new. He told us that he suggested we try one selection at a time, tapas style and then he would return and make another suggestion. He recommended a cold plate first so we got the Yellowtail and jalapenos sashimi and a King Crab ceviche. I was new to sashimi and he recommended that as a starter introduction for me. My wife loves ceviche so that is why we got that one. They were both phenomenal! Second course was the Filet Mignon hot plate. Again, his recommendation based on my answers to his questions. Again, it was amazing. We also had some Miso soup. Very good but not amazing like everything else. For dessert we picked the donuts and they were incredible. Yes, this place was awesome. I had prepared myself that it might take a while so don't come here expecting to be in and out in 30 minutes. But if you are willing to go for a ride with your server, it is to die for. This was my favorite meal during my entire trip in Vegas.

The menu is extensive, luckily our waiter was knowledge and helpful the Tacos were awesome one if the best things I've eaten, and the black cod was fantastic, it's not cheap but it's quality.

Excellent service, food average. We had made a reservation to eat at Nobu before a show. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Every staff member was quick to help. Where I’m disappointed is the food. I think I had hyped Nobu up in my mind but it’s average Japanese food at best. We spent $300 but left not fully satisfied food wise.

Our waiter Miray? was exceptional. He suggested the sample menu and it was absolutely out of this world. The service was impecable and the food was just amazing. We had sake that was incredible, I simply can't say enough about our meal. This is a must go to restaurant.

Went to Nobu 03/07/2017. Food is outstanding - service appalling, annoying and plain rude. Server came to table without menu - peddling the most expensive items and only handing menu out after second request. He was training server telling him he would be learning from the master - hello - arrogant beyond belief. For dessert he tried to explain what cremeux means in the most derogatory way ! Great food - but get ready for participating in one of those tv commercials that run at night - trying to sell you anything . For a pricey restaurant like this, simply unacceptable service. You decide if you want to risk it. Hard Rock Hotel has also Fú Asian - excellent choice - comfortable - great food - excellent service - might wanna try this first.

Pre concert dinner. All dished were good. Miso did and sliced cucumber were exceptional. Servers were friendly and helpful.

Sushi average. Veggie roll repulsive. Menu confusing. Waiter suggested “just trust the chefs”. Ummmm…no. I wanna order and get what I want. Way overpriced for the average sushi I ate. If your vegetarian or vegan your screwed. Even the edamame was bad!!! How do you screw up edamame??? And crazy loud atmosphere. They must not want customers to discuss the bad meal at dinner.

Fantastic waiter. I would go back just to have this waiter again. Sake menu had some really great choices and the fish was very fresh. Some of the dishes were lacking in flavor but overall a good experience.

I really only come here because of the head bartender He makes the best old fashioned I have ever had. It takes him about 4 to 5 minutes to do it right but its worth it just to watch him, I try not to order when they are busy because it bogs them down a bit..But all the drink are very good with quality ingredients. The food is good, just pricey and the portions are on the small side. I never seem filled even after spending a couple hundred dollars.. Its best to go around happy hour time and have a fantastic cocktail and a few appetizers

I was told at Nobu Ceasar Palace that this location and also the waiter at Hard Rock Cafe told it has 2 Michelin stars. Michelin does not rate currently Vegas. The food was nice but not 2 star quality. I hade Nobu Signature Omakase. Eat dishes slowly as the next dish is served as soon as you have finished you previous portion an plan to spend 2,5h for the 8 course menu.

I’ve been wanting to try Nobu for a couple of years now due to the hype of it all. I hate to say it, but I was very disappointed. I’m giving the rating 3 stars simply because it wasn’t all bad.. Our server wasn’t the best. While he wasn’t horrible, he simple wasn’t great. He never asked of any allergies (which is huge when eating out), never made suggestions for any pairings with food (hot dishes don’t come with anything, knowing what to pair with or knowing we had options to maybe have a side of rice or some type of salad would’ve been helpful). Given that this was our first time there we were under the impression that no additional sides could’ve been added since nothing was on the menu and it wasn’t mentioned. But, we did see other tables when we were leaving with sides of rice and small salads. Being in Vegas and at The Virgin Hotel I was expecting a restaurant with some sort of view or upscale atmosphere. This restaurant offered neither, and if it did I didn’t see it nor was I offered anything with a view (and we had reservations for as soon as they opened. In my opinion the quality and portion of food was highly overpriced. And, the experience overall was overrated. Maybe other locations are better and I just expected more for the Virgin Hotel in Vegas location. I’ve had better sushi/sashimi and much better service at other Japanese restaurants.

We visited Nobu with a group of 8 and had a fantastic meal, very varied and lots of interesting dishes. If I was being critical I would say we were steered towards the 'tasting menu' which was great but probably the more expensive option. Our visit was on a sunday evening and the restaurant was very quiet but on the whole a fun experience.

We went for our Anniversary and we were treated so well. Several staff members congratulated us and wished us well. Our server was very helpful in putting together a terrific meal. So special and delicious without over stuffing ourselves. A real treat.

Incredible Japanese Restaurant in Las Vegas in the Hard Rock Hotel. Food is just unbelievable, complemented with great service. A must do while in Las Vegas

Always wanted to try Nobu and it did not disappoint. Staff makes sure to give you the full run-down of the beginnings and history of Nobu but also recommend great dishes. We had a yellowtail and a salmon carpaccio for starters, followed by some sashimi and a few rolls. Everything on the menu has exquisite taste and yes, you can tell the difference to your favorite go-to Sushi place at home. I stuck to Asahi and my wife had a great Malbec to accompany the food. Definitely worth the experience.

Nobu has always been a favorite. Recently we visited Nobu on 57th Ave in NYC -- and were disappointed beyond belief. Nonetheless, we returned to NOBU at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and were immediately delighted. It is simply spectacular. The wait staff were exceptional (despite the fact that we arrived at approx. 10 minutes before the kitchen was to close. The orders were taken and delivered with the precision and timing only available in such a high class establishment. Every order tickled the tastebuds as well as provided a visual to please multiple senses. Highly recommended. If sushi is your thing - this is a do not miss!!!

There are 3 Nobu restaurants in Las Vegas. This is the Nobu restaurant located in the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas. It is supposed to be the best one as Nobu chooses the chefs whereas with the other Nobu in Las Vegas, the chefs are chosen by the hotel. The saving grace is the service. Our waiter was really good. The food was OK but basically it is for people who don't like Japanese food. So the story is that when Nobu came to North America, he had a lot of friends who didn't like sushi. So he had to be creative with raw fish dishes to make them palatable to the North American palate. While this is very creative, my point is if you don't like Japanese food, then why eat it? You are better off just going to a traditional Japanese restaurant. This is more for people who really don't want to eat sushi dishes but just want to feel cool and say they like other types of cuisine when they don't. They have many interesting dishes like the squid that looks like pasta and the raw salmon that is done cerviche style so it doesn't taste raw but at these prices, I would prefer just going to a high end steak house or sush restaurant. I also believe there were the innovators of many dishes like Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso but many others now have improved on these original dishes and surpassed this restaurant in terms of quality Ambiance is a bit 80s and run down but it was still an enjoyable meal....just overpriced

Over time I've been to multiple locations in Vegas, San Diego, LA, Miami and New York. Honesty, Every time I went I thought every locaton wasn't that memorable and actually quite average and overhyped. Maybe Miami was slightly better, but my memory may have been skewed because of the circumstance of a fun night in Miami's warm air. Nobu does not feel like a unique experience but rather like an overpriced chain. The food is fine, but you would expect it to be for the pricepoint. They keep serving the Atlantic bluefin tuna; an endangered species. Despite public pushback they have not taken the Atlantic bluefin off their menu. I would have expected robert de nirro to be a bit more conscientious about serving a cleaner menu with all his environmental activist actor friends. But not really surprised as hypocrisy runs shamelessly in that circle. I will not go back for a few reasons. 1) the experience is pretty subpar with a first-rate price tag. There are plenty more choices out there with a much better ambiance 2) they could care less about harming endanhered species if it makes them a profit. We get lectured at their pointless award shows about harming the environment, but they're somehow excempt. I just can't 3) de niro's incessant dispariging comments about our president are pretty offensive, untrue and just downright worn out. Honestly he should put his energy into improving his menu, because one thing we all learned in 2020 is that actors and athletes are non-essential. You have many choices of what kind of business wins your support. I certainly won't be patronising these establishments ever again.

As always our experience at Nobu was fantastic. Our waiter (unfortunately cannot recall her name) was extra helpful making sure we have everything we wanted including changing my drink. We have ordered the black cod and as at any other Nobu restaurant is fantastic. Is the best place to eat this dish. Can't wait to be back!

Visited here with 5 girls on a Friday night. I have to reiterate that this is a DINING EXPERIENCE. Not a great place to go if you are hungry. That being said, the good is very good and flavorful. Food is served tapas style with the plates brought to the table to share like family style. We selected the mushroom salad, the shrimp lobster plate, crab plate, Wagu beef, and chicken. Our selections barely had enough for each of us to have a tiny taste with the exception of the chicken. Average glass of wine is $20. For the 5 of us the bill was $700, this included one glass of wine each and 3 shared deserts. No one left stuffed but the food was tasty. Would I go back? Probably not. I don't enjoy dining where there has to be a consensus on what food is being ordered. It makes it much too difficult with everyone liking something different.

We love Nobu for the food and the ambience, and Nobu Vegas delivers. The food was AMAZING! We got some favorites, such as toro with caviar, and also tried some new items, like the kobe tacos. Every bite amazing. We also had the house sake, served ice cold. It was delicious. Service was efficient and very pleasant. Helpful, friendly staff in a lovely location with superior quality food.

While it certainly can't compare to Nobu Malibu (I'm not sure how you beat those views), the Nobu in Vegas still boasts the same incredible food and attention to detail. The food is amazing. Some of my favorites are the tiradito (seriously, order it with anything--scallops, hamachi, etc.--it's ALL good), the toro with caviar and wasabi, the uni shooters with duck egg and ponzu sauce, and the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño. Definitely recommend Nobu for your next stop in Vegas.

I was amazed at the quality of the fish, I was dubious about going to a sushi restaurant in the middle of the desert but I was wrong it was fantastic

I was lucky enough to be invited to dinner at Nobu while attending #CES2019. I was excited before I arrived and was certainly not disappointed. The restaurant was really busy so we sat and the sashimi bar which actually worked well as we were able to see the chefs preparing all the dishes and received great service ordering over the bar. Every dish we selected was fantastic and I was able to try sea urchin for the first time. The whole evening was fantastic. I hope I get a chance to visit again.

Excellent food, nice small portions, excellent flavor and taste. There is reasonably priced wine also on the menu. I would recommend the cod. Seating was not very comfortable.

I had built Nobu up in my head after several trusted friends sang it's praises...and boy did it live up to my expectations! We were promptly seated at the time of our reservation. Every single person we interacted with was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Our server made excellent recommendations for us and we were pleased with everything, from the japanese whiskey selection to the flagship miso black cod, all the way down to the spinach salad and coffee. When we return, we will go for the Omakase based on our tastes...what a fun concept! The only less-than-perfect aspects were multiple noisy children and diners dressed in t-shirts on a Saturday night...this was a really special "fancy" date for us, and that brought the atmosphere down a notch.

This was my second visit to Nobu, located in the Hard Rock Hotel. Both time I sat at the bar counter and let Japanese sushi chef make nigiri after nigiri until he served me everything he thinks I should try. Most of their fish come directly from Kyushu, Japan. Sushi at Nobu is per with sushi bars in Japan and you won’t be disappointed. Yes, it’s bit pricy but it worth it. If you want to eat real Sushi in the US, this is the place.

I was there with a few friends and the food was delicious. I found it pricey compared to the other restaurants in the resort.

We had Omakase for 2 at Nobu last night. Everything from reception through service and personal attention was outstanding. I have dined at several Nobu restaurants over the years and this was the best. Our chef was personable and very skilled. The food selection and presentation was without fault. I praise this restaurant even in comparison with other Onakase establishments in Japan and, my favorite, Sushi Sho at the Ritz Carlton in Honolulu.

The food was good (though portions are smaller which we felt with two 17 year old boys along)....but there must have been 10 different people buzzing around us (and yet we waited 15 minutes for a cocktail). I wish the wait staff could educate you on how best to order without being precocious -- fine to ask if you had been there before, fine to say that ordering several dishes and sharing them may be the way to go (not sure why because it wasn't what the boys wanted and we had some distinct taste preferences), but to essentially say look at the menu and then let me tell you what to do.....sorry, but I think my law degree gave me the skills I need to order dinner.

Had an absolute blast as always It's not my first visit nor my last It's pretty incredible when you feel so welcome you can hug your server and feel like an old friend

I took a group of business people to eat at this very expensive overrated restaurant. The food, as always was very good albeit, very expensive. The thing that really ruin the experience was that service which was rushed and ambivalent. The waitress asked us how much money we want to spend per person, Which was totally inappropriate and embarrassing. Nobu is opening restaurants all over the country but they have to keep their eye on the ball. If you get a charge these kind of prices, The service has to go hand-in-hand with the food. On another note, at about $100 a person, several people went out to eat pizza because they were still hungry.

My friend recommended Nobu to me and it so happen that Travelzoo have a great deal for a 7 course menu. We had a 6:30 pm reservation and i advise people to have an early dinner. There was barely no one in the restaurant. Service was excellent! After take a sip of our water someone refills it right away. Our plates were changed if theres a little drop of sauce in it because they told me” we dont want to mix the flavours of the different meals” but as soon as the restaurant was full, around 7:30 that didnt happen the couple next to us, i didnt even notice that their plate is changed once. It was also very noisy coz there was a couple of tables that have a large group. The food on the other-hand, is excellent to the nth level!!! Every dish they bring out, is a joy to our palate ( that is if you love sushi and sashimi. The wagyu beef also was excellent it melts in your mouth. I recommend this place for a feast in your palate. Oh the small sake is not that small at all but then it depends on how much you can drink.

Amazing food as always here at Nobu. The sashimi is delicious, the food is amazing and the service is always great. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't.

I really enjoyed, in fact loved, the meal and the service at Nobu. I think we are probably paying for Masaru Okayama's name a little bit with some $40 menu items that normally go for more like 10... but presentation and service are perfect, as was the yellowtail, the miso glaze (both on the shizito peppers and the eggplant), etc. My matcha could have been a little better (ask for green tea I expect a tea leaf infusion normally but not complaining about the more expensive kind of green tea from Kyoto!) Atmosphere is beautiful and the bar area is small but nice. A quiet respite from the (literally) hard rock surroundings and worth your time for a nice date.

Had a incredible dinner here with the custom made tasting menu that cost $200 per person. The food experience was awesome and the Sake was just as good! Great service... but did seem a little slow near the end. Dinner was over 3 hours, but very good!

I have to say the food is very good and fresh, but I have had many similar experiences at less than half the price. They are very good at dressing up the food and making it look very fancy, but the reality is that you are paying 3 times the price for what the food looks like. It is good food for sure, but I left feeling like a sucker! If you have lots of cash to just donate to the owner, go for it. If you are smart, you can find similar 70% cheaper!
Extremely Overpriced
We love sushi and have eaten at sushi restaurants all over the US. This place was below average food and twice the price of great restaurants we have eaten at. My wife and I both had a mixed drink and they charged $17each. The service was excellent but it wasn’t worth what we paid for dinner.
