We met dear friends for dinner before a DSO concert. We had hoped to have some catch up conversation, but the ambient noise level in North Italia's dining room is so high that one must scream across the table to carry on a conversation. For my wife and me, this was an absolutely miserable environment which we will NEVER again enter. With knowledge of our time restriction, our waiter took 15 minutes to deliver our check and another 10 minutes to process our credit cards. My wife never received a take away box, which she requested at the same time we requested our check. We missed the first performance at the DSO.

Nothing is more pleasant than sitting on their large balcony on a glorious Autumn Day. North Italia gets a special mention that they are COVID FRIENDLY! Tables are spread apart and the menus are sanitized. They have a nice selection of cocktails to cater for all tastes. Their salads are substantial and won't leave you feeling hungry.

Visiting the location on Akard with some friends. We sat outside in the heated patio and enjoyed a stunning view of the city at night. The wait staff was attentive and provided some excellent recommendations. I ended up ordering the scampi and the waiter informed me that there was a scampi pasta not on the menu. That is what I got and it was outstanding. Also had the side of roasted veggies and they were quite good. We had a great meal, in a great environment, and with a great view. Next time I am in downtown Dallas for dinner, this is where I am going. Well done North Italia.

Came in on short notice after the USA game, and service was great. Carpaccio was wonderful and very flavorful. Chicken Parmesan was delicious also.

It was ok. Just ok. The bolognese and short rib pasta were fine but not particularly memorable. Not something we would go back for.

Forgetting our orders. Best part of the meal was the fountain drink. I liked the tv sports though. Would recommend the bar though.

I went on a business lunch during the week. The service was friendly and quick. We began with the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata small plate. Then moved to the main entrée of Chicken Pesto. I finished my lunch with the Salted Caramel Budino! Wonderful! I would highly recommend North Italia! I will certainly bring my husband back for dinner.

I am a fat guy from New Jersey who is hyper critical of Italian food. This was hands down one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. Phenomenal service and the food was authentic and spectacular.

Stopped in for dinner on recommendation from hotel staff. Good authentic italian food . Made in house. Great staff. Met head chef Vinny. Came out to talk to us when I asked about how food was made. Pizza with prosciutto and figs...Best in long time. Pasta ...ummm good. Wsy to go team!

We went herewith a small group (4 couples). It was great ! Everyone loved what that ordered. The service was good , helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It is not a "quiet spot" if thats what you want, but you won't be disappointed otherwise!

The skyscape of the city was beautiful from this restaurant. Loved having the option to sit outside and if it is to cold they have heaters they can turn on. Food was good the truffle bread was amazing you have to try it!

Food is good. Service is abysmal! Our waitress was Mia - people .... oh my gosh. We were a table of 13 people, ordering a lot of food and drinks. She is not fit to be a waitress let alone for a table like ours. I was severely disappointed, she was coming and going, not listening, she seemed in a fog. You would try to stop her to continue the order, she would walk away. It ruined my dinner, I will never set foot there again

The food was awesome, we had the scallops and the mussels. The place is really nice and in a great location

Love this new spot downtown close to the American Airlines Center! They have great patio and lots of indoor /outdoor seating ! Fun bar and great atmosphere We had the calamari to start and it came over arugula with a light lemon dressing ! Delicious!! I had the house special which was the bolognese and it was delicious ! My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and loved it! Great service and the cocktails were awesome!! We will be back for sure!

Made reservation for preconcert dinner. Had a little trouble finding the place so was 10 min late. We lost our table but they accommodated the four of us at a high table by the bar. From there, everything was amazing! All four of us loved everything from appetizers to pizza to dinners to dessert. It was all absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and friendly. Made us feel welcome despite being late. Would highly recommend and was so close to concert.

Calamari was the best of the best and the Truffle bread was to die for!! Sangria was great and the Chicken Parmesan was very good as well!! Great atmosphere!

the food and service is very good. the prices are in line also. the wine list is great. the daily specials are always great. the decor is very inviting. well done.

The burrata cheese with tomatoes I had was excellent and fresh in taste! I especially liked the combination of the creamy burrata with some fruity tomatoes and spices like basil, arugula and mint leaves. This was my starter and as a main dish I had a pizza Funghi. The pizza was ok in taste, it‘s just my own thing, that I don‘t like pizza without tomato sauce, but with smoked mozzarella and rosemary. Also the mushrooms were strange in consistence to me as they were hard when eating, almost like they were fried to long. I prefer mushrooms prepared in a different way. The restaurant itself is nicely designed. Next time I would order the burrata again, but a different pizza.

My daughter and I met for Thursday happy hour before visiting the Dallas Museum of Art. We ordered the “bottle & board,” a medium margarita pizza and bottle of pinot grigio. Also, zucca chips. We really enjoyed the meal, the value and the friendly staff. We parked in the adjacent garage and got our parking validated.

Poor attention to what was needed. No coasters or anything to stop drinks from dripping on your lap. Very loud. Mediocre service.

We were a Group of 7 looking for a late lunch/early dinner. The place we planned to go to was closed for a private event, which is very understandable during this holiday time of the year. In any event, we walked next door and ended up at North Italia and it was fantastic. I had the best pappardelle pasta with meat Rague, I have eaten in a long time. The service and food were outstanding. I am so happy to have found a new “go to” for my favorite, “Papperdelle” pasta. Everyone raved about their food. The restaurant was clean, well appointed and the service was excellent. Thanks North Italia, next time you won’t be our second choice, I can assure you of that.

I had the pasta bolognese. It was the most amazing one i have had. The service was Also amazing. They were talking with us and always checking on us

I’m in love with this place! The food was amazing. I fell in love with the vibes, it was such a romantic and relaxing lunch with my boyfriend.

Garbage service during lunch. It took over 30 minutes and the table inquiring twice about the wait. We never received our starter. Only excuses!

We ate there last night and it was great. the truffle bread is to die for. Pizza was tasty and they made it exactly to our order. Large spacious dinning area with an outside seating option which was perfect.
Bad experience - It was like joke or a candid camera
Yesterday, before an important appointment I sat down at the bar of the Nord Italia Galleria Dallas restaurant to eat a sandwich quickly. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea and a sandwich with only and exclusively chicken and cheese. They brought me a glass full of clear water and ice with a tea bag inside!!! How does the tea bag spread the aroma inside the iced water? Immediately after, that the sandwich arrived stuffed with dozens of ingredients and smelling full of garlic. I got very angry, paid and preferred not to say anything.
