Overrated, expensive, rude service.

By Armando C |

Meat was OK, but I've had better at Morton's or Texas De Brazil. I don't know what the hype is about. Waiters are rude and the price is OUTRAGEOUS... Money really badly spent. You can go to Graziano's, Fogo De Chao, Novecento, Morton's and half a dozen other restaurants and be treated better in a way less expensive outing.

excessive waiting time

By Lilia G |

we made a reservation 4 days in advance, there was only availability at 9:30 pm. When we arrived they told us that as Formula 1 was, they were not respecting reservations and that they attended to whoever arrived first. we arrived at 9:25, we had to stand in line, at the end of the line they asked us to wait another hour, after that time we were allow to enter to the bar and waited another 35 minutes to go to the table, the bottle of wine took another 15 minutes, the appetizers were fast, but the main course took more than 20 minutes... we had already lost our appetite. the dishes were good but not excellent as we expected. since the first time we went to NUSR ET was in New York, where all was excellent, attention, food and drinks. this time in Miami was a very bad experience overall

We were robbed!

By Júlia L |

What a regret for choosing this ill-intentioned restaurant to spend our money, we were robbed! There were 5 of us, we all subscribed to the executive menu of the day so it would be the same amount to pay. The waiter brought the total to the table and I divided the payment proportionally, my sister would pay for 3 and I would pay for 2. The waiter took our cards to pass through the machine elsewhere, when he brought the receipts (asking for a signature on them) I saw that had charged the same amount on our card and my sister's, in this case charging me 50 dollars more. I immediately asked to cancel that transaction, so he accepted the error and took our card again. But what happened was that they charged the amount that was supposed to be from the beginning and didn't cancel the previous one, they said it could take a few hours to compensate the refund... I demanded proof of the cancellation and they said there wasn't one, the manager He gave me his number and said I could call him if I hadn't received it by the end of the day, as it was a very famous restaurant, we believed it and left. We didn't receive it by the end of the day, I sent a message to the manager, he received it first and then blocked me. We went to the restaurant again to complain and demand our money back (147 dollars!), the manager was embarrassed and said he blocked me because he didn't know who I was (having seen my photo and it being a very specific subject? tell me another! and the restaurant at midday only had us and one other table). We required proof of cancellation, they only had the receipt for the two ''purchases'', it didn't mention that it was cancelled. And in the end, after a lot of discussion, the manager and another woman in charge disappeared even with these papers, they left a Brazilian waiter talking to us saying that everything was ok and we were going to receive it from the bank, in short we left with the hope that it would work out. 3 weeks have passed and Inter (card bank) said there is nothing they can do, as no transaction was canceled by the restaurant and we do not have proof of cancellation! Waste of time and a lot of money, indignant!

Bad experience

By Ed K.O |

PLEAZE READ AND DO NOT GET INTO THE TRAP WE GOT INTO. I had the worst restaurant experience of my life on my birthday when I went to this place. When you approach the front hostess, if they take you to the bar area, do not order any drinks from the folks that are walking around and offering drinks. We waited for about 30 minutes for our table and we noticed that a waiter is offering Champaign to folks who are waiting. He did not tell us anything and since everyone was getting it, we thought that its complimentary (for the long wait) so we ordered 2 champagne. I feel bad for others that ordered it as well. Later when we got the check, we noticed that they charged us over 80 dollars just for 2 champagne which was ridiculous. They should have told us that it will be charged to the table. I would not have mind if it was 20-40 $ but apparently it was supper expensive. I have gone to over 1000 restaurants and this had never happened to me. I was gonna complain to the manager but it was my birthday and I did not want to make a big deal out of it. Then our waiter kept pushing us to order one of the most expensive steaks and was not professional at all. He kept repeating the same thing and would not listen to us. So we ordered 2 sides, one salad and one steak to share ( Just the steak price was 120$). The salad and the sides were good but the steak was one of the worst I have ever had. Way too much fat around it and really dry. Please look at the pictures of the steak I have posted. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. I should have looked at other reviews and should have gone somewhere else. We spent around 360$ (for 2 people) and had the worst steak and restaurant experience. I would not recommend this place at all. Again I repeat, please avoid this place.

Sensational

By Durval P |

Sensational! Top-notch food, unlike anything we’ve ever tried! Impeccable service, very pleasant and chic atmosphere. Of course it's not cheap, but it's worth it!

Never Again!

By Hector w |

Ridiculous overpriced just ok food. Will never go back nor recommend the place. Maybe for nouveau riche with little sense of style and propriety but definitely NOT for me.

Good for pictures and to cross it off ur "To check out " list!

By Mehreen R |

If its ur 1st time there, this review might save your time. So we went there with friends and wanted to see the hype! 1st impression pretty impressive . Place was busy and we had to wait 15 min to be seated. We decided to take some drinks and the "Virgin pina colada" served in the actual carved Coconut was pretty cool and tasted Excellent! BUT was it worth 80$ ,is debatable. And the bartender made us pay at the bar(1st timers there) and they were pretty nasty about the way they asked. So the bubble regarding their "Hospitality" started to burst.. Then we ordered the Food.. The "Burger" was pretty good. We were pretty excited to taste the steak but dissapointed , Honestly i felt if its not a "Tomahawk steak-$$$$ " which is the most expensive meat they offer on the menu, they dont care what they put on the table..the way the Server cut the steak, nothing impressive about that.. About the meat variety we ordered, nothing amazing about that either..it was good but not the Wow factor if you are looking for that. Your best bet, go with the Burger and u wont regret. Most of the Staff is pretty arrogant.may be thats their deal. And they charged for regular water! Wow! that was a bit much. No refills which i now know why they didnt bother. Will i be going again,NOT REALLY!

You don’t get what you pay for

By Fer V |

If you have a tendency to follow what’s new and love spending absurd money for a piece of meat that finds equivalence in countless other places in this nice metropolis, this is the place for you! Is the meat good? Yes, it is. Is the place trendy? Yes, it is. Is the atmosphere cozy? Yes.. Is it worth investing a small fortune in this experience? For me, definitely not! Overrated restaurant due to the media exposure of the "salt man", which had the merit of attract the attention of a bunch of onlookers who fill his pockets. I was one of them.

Artistic Delicious

By Julia C |

From the moment you walk in you know will be amazing, the aroma, DJ playing great mix, great mixologist really well done, by the time we got our table only got better, My meet was cook perfect my first bite Was one Way ticket to heaven my mushrooms and mashed potato deliciousness, fantastic experience .

Best Food Ever!

By Sarah K |

Since we were there for the first time our waiter brought us to the back where they showcase the meat. He told us what everything was and what he recommended. He was very nice and polite. I was there with my whole family and we had a great evening. Even though its a steakhouse they still had vegetarian options. They served the dishes one by one so we could try one at a time. I really recommend getting baklava for desert although its very buttery and heavy its really delicious. The only problem was the price, it cost a lot.

My belly was happy

By Stefania G |

I don’t know how they do, but that meat tastes like heaven! Loved the staff, very close to SLS, this is how i find actually the restaurant, walking around to find a good place for dinner!

Unpleasant experience

By mpc2012 |

We went to dinner and had a horrible experience. At a 9 pm reservation we had kids seated in either side. One table was ok kids behaving. The other was a super rude family who had a kid with an iPad full volume. So much that we could not hear each other talk and decided to leave. I know this is not the restaurant but I would expect them to do something if they see a family with a kid with a tv screen full volume which bothers other people.

Delicious Wagyu with friendly staff

By Diego Polanco |

We met there the famous owner and is a friendly man, his style is good and the wagyu meat was delicious, fried potatoes also perfect. We spent a good dinner.

Don't Bother!! Waste of money!

By Brian F |

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!! The only thing I enjoyed was the service. We spent $1200 on a steak for my b-day that was undercooked and small. I was appalled and embarrassed for this place to be serving this horrible food for this price. The rest of my party was running late and with this crap-show they called fine dining, we ended up canceling the other table and their orders before my other party members arrived and we left. We all arrived at Morton's with my family and had a better night. Thank you for the overpriced undercooked finger food. This place is a joke and so is the owner.

Horrible Experience

By Carlos Soriano |

Overpriced food, empty restaurant and bad service. We did not like the food as we have dined in many Michelin restaurants and this one was completely overpriced.

Nusr-et

By Kobi B |

We were welcomed, the food was very tasty, the experience was great, the price was a little high, but overall it was great ,The restaurant is very nice and clean,It should be taken that 18% service charge is automatically taken by the restaurant

Low quality meat and bad service

By Zack S |

Visited for dinner with a group of 8 friends. As we were preparing our order, we wanted to get the large tomahawk steak ($550) we noted a few people were not that hungry, so we planned to order that along with a striploin and a few other things. Our waiter was extremely pushy that that was not enough food, and kind of just walked away when we said it was fine. The steaks were poor quality. I source beef directly from certain farms, and know that there is excellent quality meat available in America - this was not that. There should not be notable gristle at this price point in either cut, and there was. Finally, we wanted to split the check various ways at the end and again were offered no assistance from the waiter in this. He stood their and frowned while we sorted this out, not offering much in the way of assistance. Poor quality meat, poor experience end to end. The price is inflated at least triple what the value was, and as such this was a terrible experience.

A Disastrous Dining Disaster

By Sofia C |

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Salt Bay Restaurant in Miami, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I can confidently say that this establishment deserves no more than one star, and even that is being generous. To begin with, the service was nothing short of appalling. The staff seemed utterly disorganized and untrained. It took an eternity to get seated, and when we finally were, the server seemed disinterested in taking our orders. Throughout the entire meal, it was nearly impossible to flag down any member of the waitstaff for even the simplest of requests. It was as if we were invisible to them. Now, let's talk about the food, or lack thereof. The menu boasted a range of tantalizing dishes, but the reality was far from the promise. The appetizers were served lukewarm, and it was evident that they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. The entrees were even worse—overcooked, flavorless, and just plain unappetizing. It felt like the chef had lost any passion for cooking a long time ago. The presentation of the dishes was laughable. Instead of the elegant and artistic plating one would expect, we received sloppy arrangements that resembled a child's first attempt at playing with food. It was embarrassing to witness and equally disheartening to consume. To add insult to injury, the ambiance was a disaster as well. The restaurant was overly crowded, and the noise level was deafening. Conversations were virtually impossible, and it felt like we were dining in a chaotic cafeteria rather than a supposedly upscale restaurant. Perhaps the most unforgivable aspect of this entire ordeal was the exorbitant prices. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for exceptional dining, but Salt Bay's prices were absurd considering the disgraceful quality of the food and service. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how much I regret dining at Salt Bay Restaurant in Miami. It was an utterly disappointing and distressing experience. I implore anyone considering dining here to reconsider and explore the many other excellent dining options Miami has to offer. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace, and it deserves no more than a one-star rating.

Hybris

By Philip |

The place is directed towards people that never worked for their money, having a LOT of money, and spending it without understanding or caring what they get in return. The food is not to be rated, except that you would eat a lot of salt. Overpriced is not enough to describe the place, but if money is not a consideration, have some respect for yourself and have something in a cafeteria of little Havana instead. Payment is for salt and something that you can’t even judge with the salt taste in your mouth. I have eaten in most of the Michelin restaurants in Europe, the “hats” rated restaurants in Australia, and had known personally Robuchon and Roux, having eaten in their respective restaurants many times in the past. I know food and have spent a fortune eating which I enjoy immensely. Hybris is not strong enough word to describe the experience. You have been warned. Aaaahh they probably hired a cook from Outback as their “Onion” side dish is a bad version of the blooming onion of Outback.

Good place

By nycnyuguy |

Nusr-Et lives up to its hype. Yes its expensive but the food is good to excellent. There are some negatives such as when its busy the restaurant could feel a little cramped. The wait staff is not nasty but they are not the friendliest bunch in Miami. We had good steaks which were good but our tuna tartare appetizer was excellent. On a negative side, the french fries were average and worthy of the calories. Dessert was baklava (not like there was much choice) and it was very good. Nusr-Et is an expensive restaurant but good as an occasional indulgence.

Too much

By Esther I |

This place is over the top expensive, service is good but you feel you are in The middle of a show. They try too hard for my taste, constantly asking you For refill or offering more liquor. The baklava dessert was good. The salads Where very good and portion was large. The mashed potatoe was 20.00 And portion very small.

Bad experience only for 1 time !

By Sam Thompson |

I knew that my will be an expensive and i will pay mostly for the fancy restaurant. But most i did not like is the server who did mot care about me as a guest. First of all they charge for the water i did not know about. And then add grat for 3 person. Actually 2 adults and one kid 5 years old. And i have been to turkey many times and this restaurant was nothing but meat. Turkish people really care about guests. And then i was calling about parking and i asked about the rules. The lady on the phone told about entering before 5 pm is free. So we came to restaurant at 4.30 and went out at 5.10. It was so fast cause i did not like it at all. And they charged 20$ i gave 20$ tips but the host was telling that we after 5 pm. And i do belive that most of time servers double tip. I wish they hire better people. And change it cause i dont want that nice place to close. I work as a server.

Tacky, overpriced, pushy and substandard

By Schtelle |

Awful! It capitalizes on its Meme fame at your expense. Dont support idiotic business models that sell 15 min. of insta fame. they are all uneducated , pushy, patronizing and cheap from the VIP valet to the dessert person. Stay away!

Terrible Go out of Pure Marketing

By Manuel M |

The worst steakhouse in my life. I am from Brazil and I understand barbecue with coarse salt. I ordered a lamb which cost a very high price 160 Turkish Lira and believe me ...it came 2 toasted strips! and the national beer cost 35 lire iand served in a cognac glass! Finally a terrible restaurant and I'm available in Brazil to teach them how to make an authentic barbecue with coarse salt! Go out of pure marketing!

THE BEST!! Don’t listen to liars and fake news.

By Edgardo Romano |

Hello. While checking out reviews you will see some people put 1 star not because they ate at the place but the fact is they can't afford so they explain what is a clear case of Sour Grapes. NUSR-ET is amazing. Top notch. Yes expensive but you get what you pay for. The art. The presentation. The ambiance. Anyone hating is because they can't have the experience I did. The Golden Tomahawk is unbelievable. Give yourself the best. Don't listen to whiners. Ballers only. You may have read nonsense from the fake news media but you will truly enjoy if you are of that level. Thank you and enjoy your wonderful night with one of the best for the best. You.

Perfect 10

By MoChehab53 |

Visited NUSR-ET steakhouse at the grand bazaar location in Istanbul last April, 2019. Today we visited NUSR-ET Miami downtown location. The host Jahan told us we would be quite impressed with the taste in Miami, as we were raving about the Istanbul locations taste. I would not have guessed that I would be quite impressed with the meat served to us here. It was really wow. We found out that the lamb meat is carefully selected from Idaho farms. I am quite impressed. If you want a $5-$10 burger, NUSR-ET is not for you. If you are looking for an excellent meat cut or steak or burger or even salad, you are at the right place. By the way, do not forget to try their baklava with ice cream dessert, with Turkish tea afterward. It is quite heavenly. Service was great. Atmosphere and ambiance were perfect. Food quality and cleanliness are a 10+. Perfect steakhouse.

Not bad

By BCGIRL_23 |

Went with my husband last night. Had a reservation for 9:45 but were made to wait at the bar for 15-20 minutes. I had the Saltbae Passion to start. Nice flavour and very strong but for $30 a drink I suppose it should be. There was a DJ and nice dry ice effects by the bar. Great ambience overall. We had the tuna tartare to start, which was ok. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special. For main we shared the Special: a butter grilled beef tenderloin. This was very good, especially the presentation of first slicing the meat and then cooking it with sizzling butter on a hot plate. We also got the mushrooms and mashed potatoes on the side. Service was excellent and now I can say I’ve been. However, with so many restaurants in Miami and the fact that it took me a 25 minute Uber drive from my hotel, I probably would not go back, although it was my husband’s second time there and he would go back.

Best Steak Ever

By Allan |

A friend took me here when we had an overnight in Miami. This is definitely an dining experience like no other. The steak is probably the best I have ever had without a doubt. The service is more like a show & something everyone should try at least once. The only reason I did not give this experience an overall 5* rating is the price. You have to go in to this restaurant knowing you are paying top top dollar. The check for the 2 of us was $800 & change. But hey you only live once.

Mr restaurant

By Yehiel H |

They should change the name of the restaurant for the NOISE!!!! I do not understand what is all the noise about???the only noise they should have is at the bar when you waiting to be sit at the table. Also look like a part of the restaurant to get more money for drinks will you waiting,we had reservations for 9:15 we be sited at 10:20 I ask the host why we need to wait one hour?manager came and say they are extremely busy,so first if you so busy do not take more reservations people time is very important as well!!!then to wait one hour to pay $80 for 3 drinks at the bar with 18% charge tip at the bar!!!small steak sorry very SMALL for $100 another steak full with FAT and burned and not testy,so I see a lots of celebrity go to eat there and I think it should be like that all the time, restaurant for celebrity only!!!they can afford it and get special treatment.we spend $600 which I think the best part of it was the beer I drink, not worth the time!!!give this money to people in need and go eat in any other steak restaurant you will enjoy more, the food the treatment and the appreciation you will receive for your time!!! By the way for the manager that was stock up that they are so busy tonight I pay baby-sister as well so if you that busy make sure do not take more reservations!!! If you guys so popular so you don’t need to over sold the NOISE!!!!

Husband’s 40th Birthday!!!

By happyiam_247 |

This place was recommended by our friend who visited last December. We have seen Salt Bae on social media so we decided to give it a try. Service was exceptional and Honor, Mariana and the rest of the staff were amazing! Everything we ordered was presented perfectly! They did not have moscato by the glass so the manager recommended a sangria and customized it to accommodate my love of sweetness! Best sangria I have ever had! We ordered everything that was recommended and each dish was outstanding!!! Ended the meal with delicious baklava with goat milk ice cream and complimentary Turkish coffee and tea. Honor even read my fortune after I finished drinking my coffee explaining the traditions of Turkish people. Later he gave us a tour of the back portion of the restaurant and gave us the grand tour of all of the meats they had to offer including wagyu wrapped in gold leaf. Highly recommend for any special occasion! Excited too that they will be opening one in Dallas sometime this year!

Worth it

By DougLord |

Expensive - yes. Worth it - yes My wife went there for international Woman’s Day with my 4 year old daughter. They comped the entire meal for her and a few drinks for her as part of the celebration. But even if they hadn’t it is worth the $$$. First Nusret Gökçe was there. And he played with and took photos with our daughter. Secondly my wife brought back leftovers, and even though it was lukewarm, the fillet was the most tender cut of meat I have ever had. I live a few blocks away and there is no doubt I will go back repeatedly. We have Capital Grill and Morton’s and Fleming’s right in this area - none can touch his steak.

Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

By Ryan M |

Huseyin made my visit most memorable. He was the waiter that took care of my every need. From appetizers to the main course and Baklava for dessert, it was an event worth remembering. The steak was delectable and well worth the money, I ordered the ribeye bone-in. Next visit I will order “The Tomahawk”! 😋

What a rip off and a scam

By Michael P |

We have travelled the world a lot, and I am personally a business traveller and eat out a lot. But what we tried tonight, was the biggest money machine and disappointment of all. We was really exited to go there, but allready when we came, we felt the rush from all the waiters. Our starter came, before we Even got the chance to order drinks and wine. We got the starter and it tasted good. But just 5 minutes after, the first main dish came. And just 10 minutes after the second main dish. And all seems to be in a rush and focus was to get us out early again, so that they could use the table for new guest. We was there with my wife and I. And our 4 children. And we paid 800 USD. For 1 hour and 15 minutes seating at the table!!!! Biggest rip of and bad experience we have ever had.

We had fun and great food

By Renato Recalde |

We liked it a lot not only coz its famous chef/owner but something important is atmosphere and food quality. The restaurant is beautiful-decorated modern and sophisticated. Staff is very attentive and what can I say about product quality? The best! A must have

$70 for two glasses of house wine!!!

By jmemmc2 |

We popped into the outdoor cafe while visiting last week and ordered 2 glasses of house Chardonnay without looking at the menu. The price was $28 EACH glass with a total bill of $70 with tax and their mandated 18% tip. Stay away!

Salt Bae

By Antonia M |

If you are looking for a place to celebrate with friends or family, be entertained, and enjoy spectacular cuts - Nusr-Et is the place for you! The food is really good, and the presentation is spectacular, the interior is warm and inviting. The mains, sides, all were really good and the entertainment is worth the extra $$ on the menu. Try to visit when the chef is in town, he comes table to table to do the special salt-off-the-forearm flourish that he is know for. You can follow Nusret on instagram and see where he is at any moment.

Pretty cool i guess

By Rich Food Tester ® |

I flew with my friend @richfoodtester to miami and had a meeting with another friend. Food was quite ok - didn‘t really liked the sauce. Was a bit to salty. Ended up with spending 4460.- US Dollar. Left 100 Dollars there for the service - it was sooooo good! Always go there again for a meeting, because it cheap, but good!

Great fun .. ridiculously expensive

By Richard M |

I’ve eaten In the best in the world and this is far more expensive .. in fact I’d go as far to say they distinguish themselves by making it crazy expensive.. food is unquestionably good .. entertainment is fun but way way way too expensive.. if they price it like this in london they will fail .. maybe if you are keen on throwing your money away it’s good but the British won’t buy this ! Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed our dinner but Turkish food can only be so good .. and this was not Michelin class .. I enjoyed it and glad we went .. it was certainly an experience .

Complete waste of money and time - great place if you aren’t a foodie at all

By living villain |

Tourist trap from hell. Excellent way to waste your time and your money. There’s dozens of better options in Miami than this. Overpriced mediocre food isn’t what a restaurant should be famous for but this one is...

Must Visit

By Marcelo |

This place is awesome! Loud Electronic music, cool bar, nice vibe! Food was great, we had a Tomahawk steak + Amor + Some other I can’t remember the name. Our waiter was very nice to us. This is an expensive place but definitely worth it’s price!!! If you’re in Miami you HAVE to go! I can’t wait to go again.

Wonderful

By 305marylee88 |

This is a wonderful place to dine. Beautiful inside and out. Lovely atmosphere! Enjoyed the music. The food was the best but get ready for a big bill at the end of a very pleasant evening. The server was very attentive, almost too much so. We will, for sure, dine here many more times!

NOT AS NICE AS EXPECTED

By Luis Fernando V |

For such an expensive and famous place, is not so nice. The turkish waiter was a jerk. The other guys was very polite. It was not the atmosphere we expected.

Instand smashed potatoes

By Senad W |

Meat was cold , we got instant smashed potatoes, we asked for the manager and he didn’t appear ! Show was very Nice .. It’s a place where I would never go again , ignorant manager , the waitress told him that we wanted to talk and he just watched !

Good meal, very expensive

By Daniel |

Reserved for three people at 9 and waited 1 hour since our table was not ready yet. No welcome drinks or anything during the waiting. Food was good, service was very good and scenographic. High prices. Anyway worth it.

tasty food with downsides

By insidder |

well the taste of the steak was good, nothing very special that would worth that much, they seriously need to review their pricing and do some changes on the staff, unfortunately they were not good enough.

Nothing to say about food and service that a place like this needs to play games of this kind is shameful.

By PierpaoloCagliari |

Attention !!!! At the time of the bill NEVER give them your credit card but wait for them to type it into the POS In front of YOU and check the amount. The amount entered does NOT correspond to the amount charged Then they try to make amends by sending you a sheet to sign. DO NOT sign!!!

Was espectacular

By Mark |

Food was amazing, recommend the carpaccio and steak tartar, also the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back

Saltbae at his best

By faruk827 |

If you are looking for a great entertainment instead of stodgy steakhouse experience, this is a great experience. It can be expensive place but you are paying for experience not just food. The food is five star quality: Ottoman and caprese salads are great quality and sharable. We tried a tomahawk steak.. It was absolutely amazing plus @saltbae himself did the presentation. The desert is super tasty.

Be Prepared

By Robert G |

This restaurant caught me off guard. Surprised to find it very bright inside big restaurant space. I knew it would be a very loud restaurant with lots of big tables of families and groups. Drinks and Wines were much more expensive than expected. Service was theatrical (and reminded me of an upscale version of Benihana). Food and service were perfect. Reminder: 18% Tip automatically added to your bill.

Not a meal, it's an experience

By acodon |

Amazon experience. We were lucky to have a good waiter. Mariano helped us with the choosing of the right menu items and was there throughout the meal to assist every step of the way. The whole show did not stop at the meat, but continued with desserts. I was amazed at the quality of the ingredients. Salad was delicious and the meat unforgettable. Drinks were good too. I had a Canadian beer and my wife a bourbon based cocktail that were really good. I had read a lot of negative reviews but the experience was great. Would go back but I am afraid that it will not be the same if our waiter is not there. It is all about people in the end, not places. Below a picture of our waiter, look him up!

Fantastic steak served with a stylish flare.

By Sean NH |

Fantastic steak. This famous Salt Bae steakhouse is well worth it. Lovely dining experience for business, personal or family dining.

Deceptive Scammers

By Whynot411 |

We made dinner plans with several couples, but didn't know we were going to this communist loving, piece of craps restaurant @nusr_et. until we arrived. We ordered two tomahawk steaks and a rack of lamb for the table. When the bill came, we were shocked by the total. They insisted that we ordered the "Golden" option and charged us $1,000.00 for each. We absolutely DID NOT order that option. Although we did eat what they brought to the table thinking this was the normal presentation for our order, it was clear that the waiter was trying to take advantage of the situation 😡 After disputing this misunderstanding with management, they decided to involve local law enforcement, rather than do the right thing. We paid the disputed bill (less service charge which they argued was included 😂) to avoid further conflict, but I will make it my mission to expose these pieces of craps for what they are and make sure none of my colleagues, acquaintances, friends or family ever spend a penny in this establishment. #deceptivetradepractices #communist #scammers 🤬😡. @jv271 @manzurroxanna #nusret #nusretsteakhouse #nusretmiami #nusr_et #nusretmiami #nusretnewyork #nusretdubai #nusr

Tastes are standart, steaks are unnecessarily overpriced.

By eatilla |

Standart taste of Nusr-Et, but prices for steaks are out of range. Most of the menu is same, tastes are good except some small differences like burgers bread was not as fresh in Turkey, or havuc dilimi was not crunchy or was not fresh as in Turkey. These are understandable, because of logistics. But the prices for steaks are uselessly high. That needs to be fixed I guess, it is annoying to see that difference with other restaurants.

Ridiculous prices, but maybe worth it

By Jose KN |

I was very skeptical about going. I already knew about the prices and I thought nothing could warrant them. Now, I am in doubt.... The meat (specially the bone-in sirloin) is fantastic - the best I ever ate, hands down. In my opinion, even better than Peter Luger's porterhouse. And lighter (though definitely not in the pocket...) Service was also impeccable and efficient. They like to put on a show, carving the meat, preparing the carpaccio. I think it's once in a lifetime experience. I don't regret at all.

Instant mashed potatoes

By Traveleraroundthe |

Visited Nusr Et few times in dubai , there food never arrived hot on the table so I didn’t have big expectations for the one in Miami as well , they always make great show and presentation on table while cutting the meat or preparing something , but when we got served instant mashed potatoes ( the one from box mixed with water ) that was the cherry of the cake ! We complained to our server that a restaurant which offers steak for 600 Usd is shame to serve that kind of mashed potatoes to costumers but she didn’t care so much what we saying as service charge was already included in the bill !!

never more

By epelletier |

Worst experience ever!!!! We have been last Saturday for my wife birthday and my 2 daughter's, service was perfect but at the end when we received the check, be ready... $2200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes $2200, for 2 adults and 2 kids under 9! What a shame. When we order the meat, we chose 2 Golden Angus, the price was $90, so far normal, a lady who was a floor manager or hostess or ???? ask us if we were sure about our command, without tell us that the price was not $90 but $590 for each meat????????? On the Menu the $ symbol look like their 5, but they did it in purpose of course! Who going to order 2 pieces of meat at $590, so $1200 for 2 pieces of meat, with 2 kids. They didn't apologize, was even rude without explication, the manager didn't come to us and when we ask for him he was hidden in the restaurant! the same lady who came to us the first time, was so rude, without explanation, told us that was our fault. How a restaurant with this standing can act like that with the worst behavior ever. We will never go again in this restaurant who is a trap for honest family.

Very good meat

Top Steakhouse in Brickell

By El Chevere |

Always a good experience here, very good meat. There are many bad reviews from people who have never stepped inside this restaurant but have an axe to grind for political reasons—best to ignore. I usually come for the Ottoman cut, cooked a perfect medium rare, along with a salad and potatoes. With a glass of wine or 1.5 beers (splitting the second beer with a friend) cost will run about $125 per person including tip. What one would expect to pay at a top tier steakhouse. They also offer a daily burger special until 5PM. It includes a great steakhouse burger (more like chopped steak) with fries, choice of soft drink, and baklava for $28...a steal for the caliber of product. This special is not listed on the menu—you need to ask for it. You can spend a fortune here but do not have to as I have just demonstrated. Enjoy.

A meat park environment, where you are spoiled by lovely people with a very nice feeling.

By Giophs |

A burger that makes us vibrate with its enveloping side through the ground meat the bread, the seasoning and its soft melting cheese.A sweetness and an absolute fusion in the first bite. Combining freshness and quality ingredients with a visual presentation that awakens the senses. Every bite is a tasty experience. The flower onion rings is a must to enjoy .

Totally Disapointed

By JMoreno86 |

Last night I had dinner at nusret miami. Waiter recomends us king crab legs as appetizer at $60 plus tax each. Crab legs wer only like 1/4 of a whole crab leg. Also recomends 2 beef dishes. One called Lokumb and the other i dont remember name. Size was extra extra small. Flavors not good. Overcooked as well. Not even the salt bae show. The food was not good. You can cook at home a better filet or tenderloin that you can buy at publix or whole foods. Our beef filet was 80 plus tax for less than 6 ounces. Sides are around $20. Nusret is only a trendy name, but food is totally disapointing. Also the music was too loud with a DJ that you can barely hear between us at the table.

Dishonest Sommelier

By Alejandro R |

Be careful if he suggests a wine and tells you a price. Insist on seeing the wine list, we were cheated out of $200 due to his dishonesty

Unacceptable

By simo j |

Worst unorganized famous restaurant ever seen. Wait time is over an hour and u don't be treated fairly it is like u are wrong and only the staff who's right. Management should be reviewing thier way of treating people, put in mind this USA not Turkey..I won't recommend even if the food is free. I'd rather steal house and not go there again.

Fancy dinner

By michaelibrahim11 |

Its a nice fancy restaurant with a big variety of steaks. Its nice but not overwhelming. Like you are paying for eating the salt bae brand. Staff are nice and professional except for the fact that they bring checks without asking for it.

Overbooked and unapologetic

By JanineHBim |

We had a booking for 8:30 and arrived slightly early to have a drink at the bar. On arrival they let us know that they were behind and could not guarantee a time and would ‘find us’ when a table was ready. 30 mins later we are standing with at least 100 other people waiting for tables with zero update, zero drink service and zero apology. The interior is slammed and three lines deep at the bar. Clearly they are overbooked and encouraging people to leave. Not sensible generally.. and worse during a pandemic. Tables are complaining they arent getting service and people are leaving one after the next as they ‘cannot say’ when or if you will actually get a table. Good for you that you are booming.. but this isnt good business

lunch

extremely expensive not worth the money , steaks similiar to capital grill , wine list is outrages expensive , cheapest bottle of wine is $175 , service is not up to par for the price pay...dont waist your money

Time out

By Chef Angelo |

The Turkish clown is also gone!! In Miami I think it ended on Friday night, the venues were packed, with perhaps 30 people in it!! Luckily the quality of the meat is good but the rest leaves something to be desired, 4 of us spent over 1000 dollars for a very normal dinner but the worst thing was that at 11.15pm, I mean 11.15pm the waiter asked us to go out because they had to clean up!! Shameful!! So dear nusret or whatever your name is, close in Miami and make a better impression!! Give it one less, in a couple of years you'll be gone!!!

Crazy. And I’m an idiot!

By RenatodiCaprio |

We have been here several times and this was our third and last. Crazy. And I’m even more crazy that I went again. What a complete waste of money. The prices you pay here for steak you can go to Chef Masa in New York and have a serious experience. This is a restaurant that will never ever survive. And look at some of the prices. USD 1,000 for a piece of meat covered in leaf gold that the frames of my antique paintings are covered with. Really?! You must really be a complete a.. to order this. Really a waste of time. Go to Fleming’s down the road. They really have great prime steaks. What a complete joke this restaurant!! Yes. Joke!!

OVERRATED!!! Do Not Recommend!

By Shawntavia M |

Food: Is way below expectations ESPECIALLY for the price tag! Every steak is above $100+. That’s cool...but keep reading. I ordered the ribeye. Expecting I would at least get a bone in ribeye 2 inch thick piece of meat. I can get this cut from Publix so why not at a 5 star restaurant right?! Well NO, the ribeye was more like a 1/4 inch cut from Denny’s menu. Nothing extraordinary tasty, just a plain old mediocre thin cut steak! For $100! No fire grill flavor either. No wonder why the waiter said he did not recommend the temperature medium rare, but medium. Thin little cut wouldn’t cook outside before burning inside for a medium rare temp. Sides dishes as expected are a-la-carte $20 each. Nothing special, don’t expect truffle nothing fries, no Mac/cheese, & asparagus was again the size at Publix! Skinny sticks! Please, tell me what’s the difference between the soft drinks at Nusr-Et vs in the can at Publix that it cost $10 for a soft drink! $10 for a bottle of Voss water! (No tap offered). Nonetheless I got a specialty cocktail at the bar for $42 (all cocktails are at least $30) 4-6oz glass. Nice drink, but again expensive! Salmon was basic for $50. Go to TGIF perhaps for the comparison! We probably stayed 1 hour. As someone else reviewed... they rush you in out from the table. Unbelievable! $300+ for 2 people. I’ve had better steaks from Publix or Outback... and especially from prime 112, Morton’s, Trulucks, and other fine dining. This place is overhyped and your simply paying the lease of a Brickell building. Oh Valet $20. Hideous!

Worst location of the brand

By Spartacus |

This place in Miami is the worst location for this brand. The employees had no idea even about the menu. We ordered something and they brought us the wrong thing that we have eaten at the restaurant in Dubai. We asked why and they said they did not have it at this location. Then we looked a few tables over and another couple was eating exactly what we had ordered. This place is very overpriced and the service is bad.

Not worth the price

By lileeewhoo |

Came for a casual business dinner. We arrived around 6:30 and the place was quite empty, but filled very quickly through the night. The restaurant provides a great show, but in all honesty, when I want a steak - I want a steak. I don't want a tiny piece of meat I'm paying $90 for b/c of the cost of training behind all the showmanship that goes behind each dish that comes out. Don't get me wrong, every server who touched upon us was very nice, had good knowledge of the menu, and was quite efficient. One of the items we tried and didn't like was the meat sushi. It honestly tasted more like propane rice - the meat is too thin to even notice or taste. The baklava and turkish tea at the end is a great touch and end to a meal though.

the quality of the food we ordered was exceptional—truly outstanding!

I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant for the first time, joining my friends for their lunch special. Priced at $39 per person, the lunch special included an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. Wow Wow Wow for Dinner, Dont go for Lunch they try to rip you off

By david m |

Fantastic Place for that celebration dinner , great Atmosphere and vibe, we had a fantastic time ,food was outstanding and the staff were very good so well worth a visit for dinner a must, now for lunch we had such a great time our friends wanted to go for Lunch this was a mistake as it was almost completely empty and no vibe at all, also they do 2 lunchtime specials we knew this as we phoned up before going , when we were given the menu they was no mention of the special and the waiter would not confirm it, only after picking the burgers were we told that it comes with a soft drink and dessert, we could have had an argument but did not bother , it was very disapointing , the same with the water we asked for tap water but were told they dont serve it only once had we ordered a bottle of wine were we given tap water, a real let down, so go in the evening and be prepared this is a very expebsive place, but for a clelbration a must

Overrated and overpriced

By Jo T |

Overrated and overpriced. Good tasty cuts of meat but ambiance is too noisy and there is too much lightning. Staff is friendly but it feels like they pressure you to consume alcohol. I did not order wine because same bottles where really overpriced compared to some other high end restaurants i go to. Had a 400$ bill for two and wasn’t surprised with the overall experience

Not for the quality but the price

By AL BLAIS |

I will recommend it a hundred times over. They know how to cook a steak and how to serve it. Only downside is the price tag attached to it. A substantial collection of spirits is available but I was disappointed in its range of Japanese whiskey it featured.

Terrible service

Terrible service, the attitude of the staff is horrendous as if they are doing you a favor.... DO NOT RECOMMEND

Best burger in Miami

By Eduardo V |

A wonderful place, with a very good service. The plates are very expensive and we decided to ask for a burger. What a great surprise: best burger ever......

Real disgusting place

By Daniel P |

Really nasty people are used to go there, real disgusting experience, expensive and nasty food......

Friends that live in Miami

By Brian |

Friends that live in Miami warned me about this place, decided to try it out because my gf and I could not get a reservation last min anywhere else. I was told the “locals don’t go there and it’s a tourist trap”. Once we arrived for our reservation, we were told that we could wait at the bar for a few mins... I ordered two vodka sodas and was given a bill for 64.00!!! The food is average at best (Prime One Twelve is a much better option and a lot less money). After spending approx 500.00 (no wine)I felt we were totally taken advantage of! I should have listened to my friends that are locals, as well as some of the reviews that I read!

A very nice experience

By ajrp001 |

When you read the reviews for this place, and focus on the negative ones you will find 2 overarching themes: It’s expensive Service is terrible Let me address both those issues: Is it expensive? Yes it is! But you know this going in, if you were looking for a cheap steak maybe Outback Steakhouse had been a better choice. Bad service? Not in a million years, it’s been a while since I received this level of service: attentive, courteous and really nice. They take the time to explain the menu, and knowing that is an expensive place, go over some options that could save some money. Try describe what’s on the menu in detail and are happy to answer any questions you may have. When the mean comes, which happens promptly, they serve the plates and stay around to continue serving as you eat. Great experience and I’m glad I didn’t pay much attention to the reviews.

Good food, absurd pricing, not worth it

By Rodolfo Paiz |

Good food, comfortable atmostphere, good service. Those are the good things. But while the steak was good, it was not heavenly. And for $80, which is RIDICULOUS when the very best steakhouses in Miami provide better steak in a nicer ambience for $50, it's a rip-off. The sea bass was good (maybe very good), but still not great. And for $50, also felt like a rip-off. If an informal, weekday lunch for a family of four (no appetizers, no drinks, no alcohol, and only one dessert... pretty much just a main plate and a side dish for each) had cost $200, it would have been overpriced. The fact that it actually cost $373 is offensive. Never going there again, actively recommend against it. Go to Fleming's or the Capital Grille down the street for better food and better service for half the price (or less than half).

The worst Nusr-Et I visited.

By Augusto M |

The worst Nusr-Et I visited. Lots of noise, greasy meat and astronomical prices. For some reason it was empty in the middle of high season.

The food is spectacular but they cater terrible

By lacajadefotos |

They won't listen to you. I was about to leave. They don't offer you anything extra. They take forever for anything. You think about it if you ask for something extra, because it will take forever to bring it, maybe it was my waitress who was very bad, but in general who goes... patience

Awfull

By Arek |

We have booked table at 22, but we were waiting inside the restaurant 25 minutes for seating during this Time weitres asked as if we would like a Glass of proseco we were sure that this is to apologize as for waiting, she didn't Say that it Will cost something or show as drink card, than on receipt they charge as for this 100 dolars Manager said that everything is ok and we must pay. We didnt recomend at all! This restaurant is like steak Mc Donald! Disgusting

Worth the hype.

By Laura R |

I finally made it to saltbaes restaurant and it was amazing! We sat at the bar for dinner where Andrea took care of us. She recommended the saltbae passion and it is literally my new passion. We had the brussel sprouts and and went big with the tomahawk. They have a meat cutter come out and cut the meat in front of you with all the finesse as the man himself. No room for dessert but between the amazing food and service we will definitely be back.

Incredibly good

By valensans |

We had a very good food as everybody told me... but service was incredible good.. Mariano helped and guided us to choose from the menu... excellent service...

Unfortunate experience

By Christian C |

Just been to this restaurant for dinner and felt completely ripped off. We were a group of three and ordered amongst other dishes, a stake tartare. They came around our table and prepared the stake tartare for two tables at the same time, first mistake; and then the portion for our table was quite clearly, smaller, than the other table. Rather than prepare some more to make similar portions, they tried to serve us the smaller portion. Upon our complaining they prepared a new steak tartare with the correct portion. Disappointed that we needed to complain to resolve the matter, little in a way of an apology and almost felt as though they were correct to "try it on". Given the cost of the restaurant (very expensive), we expected a higher standard. I would suggest that if you visit the restaurant you watch out for situations such as I described. Won't be going back there in a hurry. Sorry, salt bae, your employees in Miami are damaging your reputation.

Great Restaurant

Go for the bar scene !

By Colleen O |

We didn't eat here. We were walking by and the place looked interesting so went in. It is not cheap but great spot for a unique bar scene. Servers going around with fancy displays, mobile drink carts, dry ice concoctions, staff dressed in impressive uniforms. Pretty cool overall ! Great people watching. Noise level high so I probably wouldn't want to eat there.

I’m a meat lover and I can

By daaayla |

I’m a meat lover and I can actually say that I never had a better steak 😍 It’s not that expensive if you wanna do that once in your life😂 They told us that the baklava and the ice cream came directly from Turkey every 2 days. Love it

Great restaurant, good show!

By Andrea Zacarias |

My husband and I went to Nusr-et for our anniversary. The concierge of our hotel made the reservation for us. We arrived at the time of the reservation but they send you to the bar first, I ordered a Martini and arrived with a show of dry ice and the waitress also made a show to serve it. Aprox you wait 30 minutes at the bar before they give you the table. Food is really nice. My husband ordered the Amor for 3 that is not even in the menu but the waitress recommended. And it was good. I ordered the crab and it was also very good. The dessert is different but really good. The bill at the end was very expensive, but they are not just selling food, also the show. I think it is very cool place, the ambience is really cool. I definitely recommend the place.

Reservations are meaningless

By Morgan S |

The restaurant is purposefully overbooked, 100 plus per seating just waiting and with no waiting time given. Totally disrespectful to the diners.

Way way overrated. Good food,

By Yves M |

Way way overrated. Good food, but well below expectations. In addition, snubbing place with service that does not make you feel good and appreciated. Overall .. a poor experience.

Steak Paradise

By William T |

I have read many reviews stating the prices are high. This spot is in the middle of Brikell in downtown Miami and its a high quality steakhouse. You will pay for the meal but it is very much worth the cost. They do allow you to order half orders on some of the steaks. I like to try two or three varieties. They are all very tender and cooked perfectly. The beef carpaccio is one of the best you will find. As others have mentioned this is also an experience. It is different right now during covid but I respect the procedures they have in place and they do everything to keep you, the client, safe. This is one of my ATF restaurants and I always look forward to eating here.

Totally overpriced

By Monica C |

The meat dishes were excellent but small portions and totally overpriced! The ambiance was really cool with good music played by a DJ

The Best Ever

By Martha B |

Spectacular restaurant, very good attention from Huseyin one of the workers who attended me, Huseyin made me feel like family thanks.

Show and good food

By Sif K |

No doubt that the food is amazing but you're also in for a show. The waiter will cut your steak at your table and if you order tartar he will make it right in front of you. The steaks are waguybeef and like butter in your mouth. It's a bit expensive but you definitely get a delicious steak.

Amazing experience at premium cost

By badrax |

The overall experience was amazing The place is very cool The service is on par with the best I have ever seen The feel is welcoming and eager to help with incredible attention to service The food was very good and while not the best wagu one can get it is as expected premium But one must prepare for a fact that the value is not in the price- this experience comes at a heavy cost this place is pricey ! Cocktail 30 average wine glass 40 fries 19 And the meat range steaks from 100 to 1000 Highly anticipated and not disappointed even though will have to borrow $$ for the bill

Very poor dining experience highly overpriced

By bgoldstucker |

Waited one hour for my reservation to be honored. The kitchen run out of their signature dish ( meatballs) We ordered two portions of meatballs and 20 minutes later server informed us that they run out. Side dish of Brussels sprouts came 15 minutes after the main dish. Rest of the order came 30 minutes later. Total chaos - change the management before you lose more customers. Very poor dining experience. Service is substandard at best. Extremely overpriced for what you get.

Lovely Evening - we just went there for fantastic Cocktails but were impressed by the size of the steaks

By Energyseeker |

We went here for cocktails and were window shopping when looking at the steaks. Great atmosphere, fantastic bar tenders. What was that drink you mixed for me with grapefruit and gin? Unbeatable! Would come back here next time for dinner - food looked amazing and people happy with their plates - loved the light concept - cozy, not too dark but not too bright!

The worst service and dinner I have ever had!

By Ward F |

I have lived in Miami for ten years, been to some of the greatest restaurants this place has to offer and decided to try this one out tonight. Went there with my family and had the worst experience. In my opinion this restaurant is overpriced and overrated. The manager in charge, whose name I was told is Marcos Pajares has an attitude and disrespected me and my family tonight over a U$S 30 burger. Imagine that, they have steaks that cost hundreds of dollars! I ordered a medium-well burger and got a burger that was outright raw. After waiting for the waiter for about 20 minutes to come to the table, I asked him to either replace it or get it off my bill. He offered to cook it more, with bread and all since we had cut it in four to share it with the kids. Since the kids had taken a few bites, he said he could not replace or take it off the bill, he could only cook it more. I refused to eat something that had been raw for who knows how long and the manager said he did not really care, that was all he could offer. From then on, the waiter disappeared and we were left with no service. I do not recommend this place at all. Mediocre service, mediocre food. Ambiance is nice, that's about it.

Something to remember

By Ruth G |

I was very curious to know the place after all I saw in you tube... I can tell you that the place is very nice, the attention is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the presentation....that is the main thing....it is a show....every plate you order, is presented in a beautiful way, dramatic, the way they cut the meet.... really... it is a show worth to see!!! You have to be prepared because it can be a bit expensive...

Worst experience over a boat load of miney

By Leonardo Pessoa |

We reserved a table for 6 and arrived on time. Couple minutes in and the waiter asked if we wanted drinks so me and my friend ordered a beer. She came back and handed my friend his beer, poured an inch, and handed him MY beer and MY glass so he could pass it along. Now, 3 tomahawk steaks (275$) each ordered and the first one came solo, meaning: no sides, only one steak served and the others watching a couple on our table eat. Almost done with the first steak, the side came and we complained to the managers explaining the whole situation. They received the complaint with a passive aggressive attitude cutting us off while apologizing and saying the others would be served. The steak: nothing extraordinary if you ever had an Angus before (not even sure if this was really Wagyu or a very low marbling Wagyu). Then the check comes and it’s baked in already with 18% service charge making you have to go through the embarrassment of calling the waiter and saying you didn’t want any added. Bottom line: if you want to spend money on a dinner, consider a Michelin started option, or if you want a decent steak for a good price, find yourself a Brazilian steakhouse and spend 1/4 of the money and be treated like king. Everything in this place is about MEDIA and trying to go viral. The waiter spilled salt on our water (which costed 8$ a bottle by the way).

Amazing Dinner

Had an amazing dinner with my husband celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. Mariano made that night truly special for us! Definitely recommend.

Great vibe and food

By DOBA_83 |

Going to this restaurant is an experience. Attentive staff lots of show elements completing your dining experience. Beware it is not cheap but you can expect a great quality of food. I would definitely advice to go once to Nusr-Et and get overwhelmed.

Disappointing Value

By Andrea B |

We ended up paying an absurd amount for dishes that simply weren’t worth it. As the photos show, the presentation and portion sizes were underwhelming, and the overall experience didn’t justify the price. The only redeeming quality was the meat. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the poor value for money.

This place is a joke

By Patrick S |

I was there with a group of French business men. we choose a sample of different meat, for some of them (3 portions) we were charged $850....The meat was good but the price was outrageous! Beside that we choose a wine from Cote du Rhone, a 1,5 liter bottle, for $550....But when you read the label, it is a basic wine from Ardèche....a region next to the Rhone river...real value of this kind of wine, no more than $50 dollars.... As Frenchs, we love bread with our food, the bread finally came after 45 minutes..... As a meat lover I found the prices unjustified..... For 12 people and 2,5 liter of bad wine , we were charged more than $4500.00 No comment.....I will never recommend this place, it is a ripoff.....

The most awful steak restaurant ever

By Jarny Chalkowiak |

I can't believe this is rated high-class restaurant. Me and my friends were disgusted by what they served us. First it looked ok, but the taste was awful. And those prices! I expect to pay 200 - 300 dollars for evening with my close friends and my spouse, but not for this kind of service. Not for food which looks and taste like it was prepared in toilet. Next time I will prefer to eat from sewer rather than from this - pardon me **it kind of restaurant.

Must go!

By Juan L |

Food was amazing, the carpaccio and the burger are really fantastic. Ask for Michael, best service in the house!

Extraordinary food. Worth the price.

By Fernando Klein Rocha |

I’ve always wanted to eat at Nusr Et since I love steak more than any food and since I had curiosity to try turkish-style steak. I also follow Salt Bae (the chef and founder of Nusr Et steakhouse) on Instagram, where he posts his work/dishes, and you can see than he cooks with a lot of passion and skill. I had very high expectations since I’ve eaten at the best stakehouses in Southern Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, the US etc., so I wasn’t expecting to be very impressed. However, as soon as my starter arrived and I tried it, I realized that it was the best beef carpaccio that I had ever had in my entire life (not exaggerating). Not only was the beef splendid quality but the way they prepared it, rolling into a sort of beef pancake, was delicious. The main dish itself was also extremely good also: not only was the meat spectacular, but the way they prepare and cut it makes the dish even more enjoyable. In summary, I highly recommend Nusr Et steakhouse for anyone wanting to eat a delicious meal in a cool place. It is not a cheap restaurante but given the quality of the food I assure you that it is definitely, definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing!

By Livvy |

Absolutely amazing. Our waiter Huseyin is a true credit to this company. He was very helpful, friendly and very knowledged about all the allergen information. Very happy with everything and can recommend this restaurant confidently . Please do not hesitate to try! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extraordinary

By Sebastián G |

We use to eat the best meet, everywhere, but this place is just incredible. If the price doesnt matter when you enjoy, go ahead

Terribly overrated

By Mariana G |

Food wasn't awful, but it wasn't worth the hype. Or the price. I can eat the same quality meat at home and with better taste. Just... save yourself some hundred dollars (or thousands if your party is large) and go elsewhere.

Wanted to give my brother a gift for his birthday and wanted somewhere special so we went to Nusret. We had the following dishes: Nusret special ( which is sliced tenderloin, if Nusret is there he will cut it fo you personally ) Nusret special salad ( great salad recommend it big time ). All in all the experience was great I recommend this place for a special night not every day eating.

Carnival Steakhouse

By dcs821 |

Carnival Steakhouse that I personally would not recommend to anyone who wanted a great steak; however, if you want to go to a club atmosphere and drink some over priced champagne and drinks and eat a mediocre salty af steak then this is your spot not to mention that it is a fun time! Hey, it is what it is! Its a novelty restaurant! Fun night life, expensive drinks, and mediocre food - our service started out not so hot but after a few complaints it got better - I’m not a complainer but bring an ice bucket for the $2250 champagne dont just set it on the table! I got a Clase Azul Rep on the rocks - one shot - $165 - the bottle at the store is $130 - i dont complain about prices ever but this was out there a bit! I’m glad we went - fun experience - its a one and done kind of place!

Great !!

Best Steak I Ever Had

I went here with my family. Absolutely loved the food. I have eaten steak in NY Steakhouses as well but must say Nusr-et beats them all.

Nusr-Et(Miami) Fine dining experience in brutal CV-19 times...

By Alexander_Anton_St |

First of all, I want to thank you for stopping and reading my review of one of the trendy places in Miami Restaurants. Second, social media with the influence and influencers work very well. This place is good, fancy, beautiful, trendy, etc... with only one known deficiency which is cost... the point here is Doesn’t matter if it classical old-school Michelin Guide review or nowadays Instagram followers - result is the same. Sure, it is what sparked our interest to this place and charismatic business-owner. About the restaurant. 1. Venue is well designed... a lots of space and paintings depicting the owner on the walls... very nice well thought bar right by the main door. Good for different occasions: either it is date, business, or family gathering... 2. Constant nice background music at a very (very!) comfortable level to converse at the table. 3. Although they keep menu secret (I guess to avoid scared-by-price clients). You could find it here if TRIPADVISOR would not make me delete it. Direct message for a Nusr-Et menu link. 4. Food was good, but the presentation of the dishes was just fantastic. See my pics for better understanding. Beef Tartar is delicious and made-to-order right in front of you and your crowd. Meat is good, although, pricy for middle class american. 5. Wine list is endless and selected very precisely. Nevertheless, No wine bottle below $100... the most expensive bottles of recognizable brands are at $15K. Some items on electronic menu are not available. 6. Sommelier is good to talk about wines and discuss your wine preferences vs expected budget, but was little too pushy. 7. Service at this place is amazing. I’m not sure if it is important to you, though all waiters seems to be brought from Turkey. They are very good at reading You: they will talk if you want to or will be very silent if this is your preference. Timing for serving was at right pace, for example, my glass was never empty. They operate very well with knife (when serving main course meat) like the cook does! 8. I wish they had better choices on DESERT menu... I like turkish bakhlava, which is the only choice of deserts (see my picture from menu for details), but I prefer it in Turkey or other Mediterranean counties... 9. COVID-19. I’m tired of COVID-19, but I can compliment their general measures to protect clientele. For example, they perform Body Temp readings at the entrance, contact tracing, opening doors to avoid any surface touching, single use utensils (plates are wrapped in plastic as is each set of silverware), QR-coded menu, etc. 10. I (we) liked everything... the only deficiency identified is the cost. The dinner for 2 with a red wine bottle was at approx. $450 (service 18% is already included by default). Apart from cost, it is amazing place and “must visit” when in Miami. I would appreciate your Thumb up if you like my review and/or it was somehow helpful. Thank you for your time reading it.

60 bucks bottle of water-fraud !

By srhottie |

Fraud business nothing more nothing less . Walking in with no reservation and all good til then ,called a friend to meet me here for a bite as I hadn’t tried it so was waiting at the bar when I requested a bottle of water to start with and a limoncello , quickly realised that a bottle of water was ready for this … 60 bucks … I’m serious 60 bucks for a bottle of water in this place ,as soon as I picked up on this on the menu I didn’t even bother to call the waiter and just casually walked out ,this is serious fraud nothing more and nothing less .

good service

By yunjuand |

My friend and I enjoyed the service more instead of the food. We do like the second steak we tried. The server was excellent. Quite expensive though.

Huge mistake

By BiminiSea |

I really regret coming to this extremely and overpriced restaurant. I guess you are paying for the privileges of walking into this place in honor of a famous chef Salt Bae. Service was terrible. Food was undercooked and just average. I make better steaks at home. Do not recommend and will not be back!

CIHAN is awesome!!!

By DANIELA |

My family and I have been in different Nurs-Et locations (even different locations in Istanbul) and by far the best experience was in Miami! The food came fast and the staff was extremely polite and very helpful . CIHAN made our day! Thank you very much the exceptional service!!!

Good but pricy

By lpetti3000 |

Good food. Very fancy but no real dress code. Burger and drinks were delicious. Check the menu and prices before you go so you don’t get sticker shock.

Top

By Niklas |

For an appetizer, I had the sushi, which was good in taste. As a main course, I enjoyed the New York Striploin, which was perfectly prepared. Finally I had a cheesecake, which was also very delicious. I would choose it that way again. The service was very attentive.

Over-the-top steakhouse!

By Armando O |

The best steak in miami! Amazing flavor! Great service with much attention to details! We tried the ribs and the tomahawk, both were lovely and in my Top 5% of all steakhouses! The ambiance is very hip with modern music! Will return 100% whenever on Miami!

Although it didn’t repeat the first time magic, good food and great service made it a memorable occasion

By Axel C |

We were looking for a Friday late lunch with the family for a special occasion. We had had a magical experience at the Nusr-Et loathed in the Istanbul Gran Bazaar and wanted to see if we could repeat it in Miami. Whole we did not reach the same level of awe, we did enjoy a great meal and a very friendly service. We decided for several appetizers to share (great carpaccio and even better steak and spicy tuna tartars). The burgers were superb (but that was to be expected given the price, although the “meal” also includes spicy fries, a soft drink and the signature baclava-and-goat-milk-ice-cream dessert, making quite a deal for the place).

Truly Outstanding Beef

By MGBP |

This was our second trip to Miami and our second time dining here. We greatly enjoyed our pre-dinner cocktails, served by Marshall (a delightful bar tender who shared some great information about the city). For dinner, we had the sliced sirloin Wagyu and the sliced Wagyu filet mignon. Both were some of the very best meat we have ever had. While pricey, I can honestly say it was worth the cost.

Birthday dinner

By Francesca M |

I find this place fascinating..... I truly enjoyed both the restaurant experience and atmosphere as I did the food. Had the arugula salad ever and the Steak is as good as expected. The service was great and we were lucky enough to see Nusret there who works super hard, I don’t think he ever says no to a photo. Really enjoyed ourselves and would deygo back

Wonderful birthday dinner

By María P |

We had an spectacular dinner. We’re celebrating my birthday and had a wonderful night. Food was delicious, wine fantastic, customer service was outstanding.

Best meet in Miami !

By Sylvio Campos |

The quality of the meet is incomparable with any other local restaurant, so the price!! Better be prepare to wait even with reservation!

What a rip off, the worst food and service I have ever had!

By Carlos F |

The server took over one hour to serve us, the food tastes terrible. The place is dirty and we saw a roach. The owner happened to be there and offered to serve us himself with this weird salt routine he does that I found creepy, then served my friend directly with his knife a price of burnt meat. I would never go back, The price was outrageous! They won’t last long, I prefer Capital grill or even la carreta to this dump.

Friends and food

By Chill Cloud |

We went to this restaurant as a thanks giving dinner. The ambience is awesom, the service is pretty good. But the food is not at good as we expected. We had a read a lot of good reviews. The salad was fantastic. The steak was ok, not at good as expected for the price charged. It’s ok to go Experience it once.

Excellent excellent excellent

By Carlos O |

This is my third visit to this beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent, the service extraordinary and the experience fantastic. I love this place.

Incredible quality, but you pay for it

By Fraianeli |

I ordered an Istambul Steak (striploin) and it was perhaps one of the best steaks I’ve ever tasted. Soft, juicy and cooked to perfection. The desert was also way above average in taste , and not as common as a key lime pie , which you can find everywhere. I was also lucky that the famous saltbae was actually there , which adds to the experience. The question is: would it worth the money spent without him? If you are on a budget , go if if he is there , or if you really appreciate meat and therefore can really differentiate how good was the meat quality . Otherwise, perhaps you may find it overpriced

Much better the one in Turkey...!!

By Angel Cruz E |

Other than the Hosstes that is Argentina or Chilean does not want to treat customers, the Captain or Manager did not approach Saludsr at the table, something that if they do in Turkey, the food was not so good, the quality is not what they say they have, therefore the restaurant looks empty, the staff does not earn 20% Service and seems to do you a favor! I definitely wouldn't come back and I don't recommend it!

Good food, so expensive

By Alejandro Eacobar |

The food was very good, nice ambiance, butnthe prices are beyond expensive. A dinner for family of cost almost $1100. Seriously?

Great Restaurant with quality dishes

By Kiko S |

Amazing dishes. I choose Asado for 5 and shared with friends.Restaurant is pricy but quality of food and the place is worth it Wine is very expensive so I do not recommend unless you know what you asking for.

The worst esperiencie in Miami

By Adriana B |

The worst experience in Miami, it is not what people says about this place, It’s really expensive and only they propose the show, food was awful but the service was even worse, im never getting back to these restaurants.

COVID 19 spreading place

By DavidD911 |

I am writing this review not to complain about the price for a steak which is at least $200 not including mandatory 18% tip or the overpriced wine list with no bottle under $175. We had dinner for 2 at Nusr-Et Miami on a Saturday at 6:30 pm. The restaurant does not maintain a safe 6ft distance between tables as required by Dade County. The place was packed and we had less than 3 ft to the table behind us. Waiters constantly pulled their face mask away from their mouth and nose when they explained the menu or communicated at close distance with us. At the end this was a touch and go experience for almost $700

Best steak

By ijustneedglitter |

I really don't like steak, but I was actually able to eat it here! Seasoned well, cooked perfectly. Probably a bit over-priced and over-hyped, but it's still worth it.

Large Party, Large Prices, fell short

By harleyguythill |

We ordered an assortment for steaks and racks for dinner as well as an assortment of appetizers. Tenderloin was a bust, no flavour, and the beef was cut into 1/4” thick minis which was not expected from your typical ball. Bone in ribeye, impressive size, but not worth the $275. Rack of lamb was great tasting but ordered medium and the ends were tough and well done. For that price, not acceptable. Burgers ordered plain came with the works cheese and beef bacon. All the appetizers were 1/2 portions of any other steak house. The only dessert on the menu is baklava and a marzipan style ice cream, $25. I would recommend other steak houses for the price.

I love Salt Bae

By Giuseppe U |

We had a great experience at Nusr-Et Restaurant in Miami. The bill was very low for the quality offered. The carpaccio was delicious and the carpaccio very taste. The coffe espresso was a good surprise. We will be back soon

I recommend

By Myshel |

Super nice restaurant, the staff is at your little care (a little too much ) expeditious service... not very hushed music... excellent dishes, perfect cooking meat, the waiter who cuts us the meat should change his gloves in front of the customer 😉 but I warmly recommend this restaurant

Worst experience ever

By marieb_uberti |

Nusr in Miami, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. No sense of service, arrogant, pretentious. Don't pretend to be a great restaurant, you even don't know the basics. Reservation at 9:45pm, no table at 10:30. Nobody in charge, nobody professional. Only fashion and emptiness. Let's visit a one star Michelin to learn.

Best Steakhouse in Miami

By El Chevere |

Have always had a great meal here. Great tomahawk steak with excellent marbled flavor and great burgers (more like chopped steak) with a special offered every day, including weekends, until 5PM. Nice ambiance and great staff. Does have some pricey gimmicky items best avoided but overall the flavor of the meat here is sensational. Be sure to save room for baklava dessert and ask for a cup of complimentary Turkish tea.

$25 for half piece of baklava

By Bulent U |

$25 for half piece of baklava is a ROBBERY. Mandatory tip and tax comes out $31.50.Even if I said “thank you” once I receive the bill, I felt like I’m talking to a wall. No response.Nothing. I would expect “thank you for coming” at least. This place has no idea what real Turkish hospitality is all about. I wish I could give no stars

TAKE IT FROM A BEEF EXPERT

By 2011traveler2012 |

I am the proprietor of a food company that further process Certified Angus Beef Prime and Wagyu beef primal. This past Christmas day I wanted to invite my family to a restaurant that served excellent beef cut and by word of mouth NUSR- ET Miami was recommended. Boy was I in for an unpleasant surprise. I don't want to comment about the service (which I was not impressed with) but getting down to the BEEF. They pride them self on serving excellent American Wagyu beef, but that's not what I tasted. Wagyu and Kobe beef have their own grading standard, which measures the meat's intramuscular fat, also known as "marbling". Marbling is that webbing of creamy white fat that riddles a cut of beef, and which gives it a spectacular tenderness, juiciness and richness. This score is called BMS or Beef Marble Score. This goes from a BMS 3 (lowest) to BMS 12 (Highest). With this said our Carpaccio de beef did not even reach the lowest grade of marble and taste. Now comes the real disappointment, we order their Tomahawk priced at $275.00 recommended by the waiter and here is what we got. First for that price I expected to get a full cut Tomahawk not half, they take a whole one and cut the bone down the middle , with the side that is cut served down on the plate, so it appears you're getting the whole pieces. When I tried the steak, I was not impressed by the taste (tasted like a regular USDA Choice meat) so I called the manager over, giving her my comments and ask to speak to the chef, they took me to the back counter to see the beef, but all I saw were, half cut tomahawks all covered with a yellow marinade. I guess so they can hide the true BMS (Marbling) of the product. If they are serving Wagyu, it must be the lowest grade. Not to make a scene on Christmas. I went back to the table and finish our $1325.52 dinner. I think this restaurant is for people that want to make an impression on their guest as to how much money they spent and don't mine throwing a lot of money away, on an average Steak House restaurant. Which one are you.

Spectacular Experience

By Alessandra B |

We have been today to Nusret Miami and incredibly served by Paulo such a gentleman and careful with all the details and very particular in present all options. Also the food we love, so delicious and so worth. Thank you Nusret for maintain this beautiful environment and people!

Unfortunately, anyone can comment on TripAdvisor BUT this is a REAL review.

By Lex |

I visited the restaurant just two days ago and it was a phenomenal experience. I was impressed. Now the prices are high but, it was all worth it if you are willing to spend some dollars. I enjoyed the tomahawk with creamy spinach and mashed potatoes with baklava for desert. My tomahawk was cooked perfectly! Melted in my mouth, appealed to my senses, flavor was ingrained into every fiber of the meat it, was truly delicious. Every thing was delicious. The ambience, music, selection of champagnes were excellent. I even had a bottle of water…but it wasn’t $60 like the previous reviewer said lol. Definitely recommended! Would love try the restaurants in Istanbul!

Best customer service by HONOR, MARIANO and Mali

By Star Zo |

We visited Miami just to get a taste of Nusr-Et’s famous steak. MARIANO was our server who was very helpful and was educating us about the history and how Nusr-Et is like a family. We loved his service. PAUL then showed us a presentation of the Beef Tartar that was perfect then our Ottoman Steak. We then talked to HONOR who we will never forget who added more great experience, showing us the traditions in Turkey with the coffee and tea and he did tell us more about the history of the restaurant. We then spoke to MALI who was a gentleman and shares stories about how the restaurant works. We loved our experience there with these gentlemen. We enjoyed there company and appreciate them for making us feel at home and that we were part of a family. We’re a huge fan of the Chef and they did share how happy they working there and that the Chef inspired them to work harder. Thank you MARIANO, HONOR and MALI for giving us all the full Nusr-Et experience and we can’t wait to meet the Chef hopefully at the future branch in Beverly Hills or in Nevada. We had a wonderful experience and we would come back.

Come for the Show, Stay for the Food

By Angel D |

We made reservations without really knowing too much about this place. First thing to know, this place is expensive. Very, very expensive. Having said that, the ambiance is amazing and the food is very good. If you come eat here, its an experience. From the sommelier serving the wine, to the beverage cart with lights, to the drinks filled with dry ice, and best of all the waiters who cut the meat with incredible precision. It really is quite the show. We ordered meat sushi, which was fantastic, the Nusr-et Salad, also very good, a steak, their version of the New York Strip, which may have been one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, perfectly cooked and simply popped in my mouth. The dessert, they only have one, is an absolute must. You will know which one I am talking about when you go, as they only have one.

We will never come back again!!!!

By 998karint |

We will never go again to this place! We had a reservation at 8.45 pm... When we arrived there was no table for us, 40 min later there was still no table for us, no excuse , no friendly word, no drink for free for these bad treatment ... If they don’t won’t guests like us , we won’t come anymore, we then enjoyed a really good dinner at the next corner with really friendly people!

Dinner

By Sergio M |

Meat really very tasty a show apart the cut and the preparation is very good the meat came to the point request It's worth dessert

Not worth it

By martavecchi |

Extremely expensive for the poor service and mediocre meat. Low energy place , half of the restaurant empty. Totally different from one year ago.

Over prices big time, Manager is not in touch with their customers

By Anthony B |

Had 8 guys on a golf trip, Please is totally over priced, the manager is a joke Ordered a Strip steak $100 for a tiny steak it was 30% fat. I said something to the manager, He looked at me like I had two heads. Had a clump of fat on the plate he looks at it and pick up a piece of fat and said, see there is meat on that, If they think their steak and restaurant image will carry them, then good luck. Would not recommend.

Nice ambiance

By Travelingourworldwithck |

The ambiance was formidable. The meat was absolutely delicious. However, the sommelier lacked of knowledge, he was trying to sell the special bottle instead explaining what other wines he had available.

Dinner

By GMP |

A restaurant should be graded as a whole and believe that service and the atmosphere should always be mentioned. That being said those two factors should never contribute to the majority of the review. Let’s begin by saying I love meat and if you come to this restaurant you should not ask if the have a vegan option! Likewise, a good meat should be enjoyed as such. If you like it well done or medium well then STOP AND GO SOMEWHERE else....say outback! At most the meat should be cooked medium! Best medium rare! Now back to the review It’s conveniently located in Brickell Avenue. Valet parking is available at a cost of 20$. The restaurant is nicely designed and the atmosphere is fitting of Miami nightlife. I would highly recommend trying this! 4.5/5 The execution of the was excellent! The presentation and technique was flawless. Beautiful! The texture and temperature of the food was excellent! Simply perfect with every bite! We started of with appetizers which included the beef carpaccio and steak sushi. I ordered the tomahawk. This was medium rare. The rub used was very good and the flavor was not overwhelming. The rub was not too salty or crusty that you may savor the carbon vs the meat. It was cooked to perfection. And very tasty juicy. The desert we had was great! I lived many years in Chicago and tried many baklava, and this one was phenomenal! The nuts and honey as well as pistachio with the ice cream was awesome! We also had Turkish coffee which was good! We had Bellini and old fashioned which was very good Service is always FLAWLESS in my opinion! Remember you are paying for the experience, service, location and therefore the price would cover all these aspects. I definitely enjoyed the meat here more than I did eating at “Bull and Bears”

surprised

By Art M |

This restaurant is next to my building and I'd always been curious about the great smells coming when I walked by. So I took some special people there, 4 of us. Went with the flow and recommendations of a nice Server. She recommended all the way from appetizers to dessert. I must say the experience was excellent and the food was good. They made a show of the whole dinner experience. The Baklava was amazing. Having said all that, and I didn't look at a menu, I couldn't believe my eyes when the bill came. Had to turn on the flashlight on my phone to comprehend what I was seeing. $1200 for the 4 of us. I'd expected somewhere around $600.00 but this was a shock. Like most everyone else in these reviews, I won't be back. I love my friends but I'd rather spend the $1000 on other things.
