I tried the shawarma, and the taste was amazing, it's one of the best meals I've ever had. Nice people in the shop, I recommend this restaurant.

The falafels here are excellent! They are freshly made and are very crispy and have a nice seasoning. The mixed grill was also nice. Big portions. The place looks a bit worn down, especially with the adjacent road works but this is definitely worth a stop if you like Mediterranean food.

Never tire of stopping at Oasis for a quick healthy bite of a falafel sandwich loaded with all sorts goodness at four dollars. Conveniently located right outside the entrance to the L train Bedford stop. Sure beats Pizza!

Went here as part of a tour. Had a falafel with tahini, delicious! Service was very good. The only issue here is that you should know this restaurant's decor includes a map of what most Americans would identify as the Gaza strip, the West Bank, and the State of Israel. The entire map on the wall is labeled "Palestine." This might please some and anger others, so be aware of this before you go.

This place is so good! It's not often that I find really good food at a really good price. This place is priced the way food should be priced. I paid $7 for a big falafel plate with hummus and salad and so much good stuff! It also came with pita breads! It was a pretty packed plate I also bought a spinach pie for $3. All together I spent $10 on a big super yummy meal. They deserve a tip in their tip jar. I only want to eat here for the rest of my time in New York. Love it!

This place has no street appeal & is nothing inside to stay & linger for BUT.....the falafel in a pita with tahini was so good I didn't miss not eating meat. The spices & herbs were perfect & not too garlicky. Get it to go & add some salads on the side. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic Middle Eastern Mediterranean food. Chicken shawarma, taboulé and wonderful hibiscus tea. Great value for money and generous portions.

I happened upon this place about 2 months ago and have been dreaming about the falafel sandwich since. Hands down best falafel I've ever had AND it costs about $5. I'm so excited that I'll be in Brooklyn again this coming weekend and can grab another.

Serving fresh and tasty middle eastern food at a very reasonable price Oasis probably has the best falafel I've tasted. Obviously made fresh each day but cooked perfectly. Crunchy outside and soft and creamy in the centre. The tahini that accompanies it is also is sensational. Looking for cheap eats that is healthy too, this is it.

Ignore the construction or you will miss out on really good Middle Eastern food. We tried several items from the menu and loved them all. No visit is complete without getting some of their amazing baklava.

The falafel really stood out, due to a coarser grind of the base ingredients the texture was unlike other falafel I’ve had. The tahini sauce added a sweet contrast that amplified the flavors. We also had some of their baklava. If you're not too familiar with Baklava then you might not know that it’s made differently throughout the Middle East (some use honey, some sugar or other sweeteners). Even though I’ve had Palestinian Baklava before, this one was particularly good because it had a creaminess I haven’t experienced before with Baklava. It balanced well with the crunch of the different layers and the nuts excellently. This place is unassuming but a great place for a quick bite.

We were walking down the streets , investigating the scene in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. My friend and I saw this sign saying Falafel and Shawarma. We decided to take a peek. We saw a counter and some tables but what we really liked is we saw a line of people. So we went in and started ordering from all the delicious looking food in the cabinets and counter. Service was fast! We started out with a Vegetarian Sampler, Mix any 5 cold appetizers, comes with hummus, baba ghanouj, 2 grape leaves and 2 falafel, for $12.00 this plate was piled high with delicious vegetarian delites of our choice. I also ordered a beet salad, was delicous and tender. My friend ordered a Mixed Shawarma Plate Combination of chicken, beef and lamb and I ordered a Shish Kabab Plate of Juicy pieces of marinated, charcoal grilled lamb to perfection. All OASIS plates served with warm rice, salad, and hummus or baba ghanouj. They put everything on it for us and we tried both hot and sweet sauces. The falafel was fresh and you can watch them cooking it as your ordering. You get fresh pita also with your orders. We also got 2 sodas. Our table was covered with food to much actually for 2 people all for around $40 - no waiter service. they have a few tables and a window counter and take out and delivery. When we left the line was even longer out the door and the voices inside were from all countries as so many different languages were being spoken. Not a classy location but great food! Recommended!~

It is the best falafel sandwich in town! I just can't describe! it is really good cause it closes late as well. I surely recommend. And the price - even better. Really good arabian food with amazing price.

Was one of the stops on the Brooklyn food tour. We tasted the Falafel with tahini sauce. Some of the very best falafel and tahini sauce I have ever had. Purchased some Baklava to go. It also is some of the best Baklava we have had any where. Very tastey, fresh and not overly sweet. Was our favorite thing on the food tour.

What a great place for falafels. They have some of the best tasting falafels in all of New York. Helped by fantastic tahini sauce. This is the kind of place as your walking by you look at and say this is either going to be the worst hole in the wall or one of those food places that you never forget. Well add this place to the never forget column. Phenomenal tasting food at ridiculously cheap prices. When we got there the line was quite long but moved very quickly. A must stop

We had amazing falafel in pitta and delicious hummus from Oasis - it was incredible food and astonishing value for money. We would definitely recommend this place.

Great little Mediterranean place. Very casual and low key. I don’t like falafel but didn’t mind this one. Typical Palestinian food, but done well. It’s about to change locations soon. If you want a quick and casual and non fussy lunch, stop on in.

Was away on business with a friend when we were late getting out of an event we noticed this restaurant was still open. Even though it was close to closing they welcomed us in. It was a very nice restaurant. The food was amazing. Staff was so friendly and made you feel important. Never had to track down our waitress, she was always one step ahead of us. Was a nice staff of people. We enjoyed it so much we went for breakfast the next day.

We ventured into this restaurant due to reviews that suggested they had the "best falafels in town." We ordered the falafel plate, which is five falafel balls, a mixed salad, baba ganoush, hummus, beet salad, mini dill pickles, and 2 pita breads. Amazing amount of food for the price! On top of that, it was YUMMY! While the falafels are very good, they are not "the best in town." We also ordered the zaatar bread, which is basically pita bread topped with lots of zaatar spice and a load of olive oil. It is then grilled for a short time. While I love zaatar, I found this to be way too oily for my liking as did my dining guests. If in the neighborhood, it's a great choice for lunch or dinner. Popped in about 3 pm for a shawarma plate and wasn't disappointed. The food was really good (salads the best) and a good big serving for value. Its pretty basic to look at but the food was spot on and the team are nice.

OMG the best sandwich. Visited after a trip to the Brooklyn Brewery. Found it on this app as I’m cheap and wanted a good feed. Had the shawarma sandwich which was super filling and a great price. I’d come again but I live 3000 miles away. Thanks for the food guys

My wife and I stopped in for a snack on a Sunday. It has an unassuming store frontage but step inside and you are treated to the wonderful aroma of freshly made falafel. A falafel with pita/tahini tasted delicious. Fresh, not greasy or filler. Very nice snack and a good place to stop for a quick bite. Keep in mind that it appears that much of the food is to go as there is very limited space and seating inside.

If you're looking for lunch for two - I recommend the vegetarian sampler. $12 will get you five cold salads, hummus, felafel, and two pocket breads. The deserts, for only $2.50 each, are the best I've had. Great little spot in Brooklyn, nothing fancy, which is how I like it :)

A great find in Brooklyn if you're wanting some great falafels with all the fixings. Falafels made as they should be made.

I found here by chance, and that was really lucky!! I ordered sandwich which was so stuffed yet it cost only 4$ and something ! The shop was crowded and busy but they worked quickly ,it's no problem. Really miss it.
Don’t Just Walk By!
If I’m being honest, if my son hadn’t taken us here I would not have gone here of my own choosing, but it was delicious! I’m glad we went! The restaurant is nothing to look at, but the plate three of us shared as a snack was overflowing with falafel, hummus, and other things I can’t remember (note to self: start keeping notes). And the baklava! My mouth is watering!
