We have been coming here for years. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the owner’s wife started sweeping around people who were eating. As if that wasn’t disgusting enough, she took out an electric steamer mop and started cleaning with a dirty mop head! After almost causing an elderly customer to slip on the tile and cord, she finally put it away. This was at the height of lunch hour-she could’ve waited at least until the 3-4 o’clock lull. I can’t understand why she sees no problem with cleaning filth where people are eating and not giving a care about customer experience. Will think twice before coming here , although I know the wait staff and cooks work hard. Owner can do better…

Always a standby for a weekend breakfast. The omelettes, pancakes, french toast are all good at this family-owned, Greek diner. The wait staff is enthusiastic and attentive and the food comes out in a timely fashion.

Though relatively few tables inside along with the counter, more table seating is available outside upon request. Service was average though the food was good and the prices reasonable. The friendly-yet-guarded demeanor of the floor help towards us first-timers is typical of we New Yorkers... and completely acceptable. Worth a try.

This is a comfy place for three or four generations of family— good food, attentive service. It’s totally kid friendly. Come here and forget about loud noisy diners.

This is one of my favorite casual dating places. The number of choices is astounding and the food is excellent. The Chick pea salad they serve at the table while you peruse the menu is outstanding. We often order some to take home. You can't go wrong withe anything you choose, which is why we see so many regulars each time we go. Also the wait staff is friendly and professional. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

My wife and I have enjoyed the Oasis at least weekly since we discovered it recently.. The food is excellent (we love Gyros) and is reasonably priced. The service is superior and the food arrives shortly after ordering. The only negative is the bathrooms can only handle one male and female at a time.

The food was decent, but they were out of onion rings at 6 pm, so we didn't get any on our burger deluxe orders, even though the menu says onion rings. The waitress did not warn my husband that he would be charged extra for having blue cheese on his burger. They also charged me a dollar extra for my order above what it said in the menu. When challenged, they refused to change the price and insisted that we were given an old menu and the prices hadn't been updated. This added an unexpected $5 to our order.

Oasis is a neighborhood fixture... been there many many years serving quality food..I have hand many dining experiences there... too many good choices...

A great diner on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. Tasty burgers at a fair price. Worth a stop if you are in the area

The menu is huge, as are the portions. Place is clean and the wait-staff is friendly and fast.. I love the chicken cordon bleu, roast spring chicken and the Italiano panini. Lemon meringue pie is always fresh. And I always leave with a doggy bag with enough food for the next day. Great local, small diner. Take out is good too. Prompt delivery.

You can get anything you want at the Oasis Diner. Good food, fairly priced, and friendly staff guarantee a wonderful experience. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack you can be assured of a consistenly good experience.

If you should find yourself hungry in the vicinity of Flatbush Ave. and Marine Park, this is the place to visit. The food is consistently good and the portions tremendous. We have been customers for years and always seem to leave with a shopping bag full of delicious future meals (leftovers doesn't do it justice). Unless your looking for an exotic cuisine you can't go wrong here. Oh, did I mention the free glass of wine with complete dinners?

Have been eating here since I am a kid... now my wife and I enjoy a trip here almost every other week whether for a Friday night or a Saturday morning breakfast, always a solid meal great service, treat you like family always!

Great service great food great price.... Typical diner food at low costs..... food won't blow you away but the portion size is beyond fair and they always give little snacks for appetizers... Been going here since I was a kid and now I get to go every so often with the wife and one day with our kids!

Something good for three generations- especially burgers, omelets, wraps, pancakes and other sandwiches. I like the way they rectify a mistake. Good people from owners to cooks to servers. It’s a good place to relax with comfort food.

Restauant is next door to Frank's Pizza .Salvi is owned by the same people. The food id delicious, but pricey compared to Franks. It is however, a fine dining experience. Franks is great, but no frills.

Good breakfast. reasonable prices. Try the home fries.. needs some interior updating but overall a good place to eat breakfast..ask for crispy bacon!

Decent local diner. It's a small place so if you go with a group, try calling ahead to make a reservation.

Oasis is doing take out and delivery only in the current situation. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. They have several Greek selections, but the menu is varied and extensive. Moussaka is excellent. Friendly staff to take your order. Protocols observed when picking up order.

Food is good with daily specials and a wait staff that’ been there forever. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner , this restaurant is family run!!

Always come here for breakfast. Home fries are good. A staple here in marine park. Friendly staff. Must try.

Disgusting is too simple a word to describe the food I ordered and had delivered to my home tonight. I ordered a house salad, chicken fingers and onion rings. First, the food arrived Luke warm, mostly on the cold side, I then opened the onion ring container. They were soaked in what smelled like two week old grease. They were so soaked with oil that when I lifted one out of the containers the outer dough fell off. The bottom of the pas was oozing with grease. Then the chicken fingers. They were cooked in the Sam rapid oil. They smelled. They were so deep pried that you could break a tooth biting into them. When I peeled off the crust, the chicken was dry and shredded . The bottom of the pan was loaded with oil. Normally when you order fingers at a diner , they are complemented with celery, carrots and lettuce. None put with this order. I looked a past reviews of this diner and noticed how positive they were. They must be owner reviews. I will never again waste my money, time or appetite at this disgusting display of poorly cooked/served food.

Nothing really too fancy or expensive, but will be filling to a person who wants good food and friendly service, the specials are so big you have to doogy bag them home.

Food at diner was delicious. Service slow. Our waiter didn't bring us utensils or water. And messed up our order. Well not mine but my friend's order.

Love the stools at the counter! There aren't too many of these gems left in NYC so take advantage. Found it on a rainy night home after a long day stuck on every train imaginable. Huge menu and something for everyone. I had the lobster bisque and greek salad. Hubbs had a chicken panini. Oh and a glass of white wine for $3! Yes please! And all pastries baked on premises!

Today was our first time here. Almost everything was better than average diner food in larger than average portions - tropical waffle, lobster bisque, spinach, cole slaw, chopped sirloin parmigiana, coconut custard pie were all first rate. Only the bread was a bit weak, though not bad. Service was pleasant, prices were reasonable. We will be coming back.

Been going to Oasis Diner for years! Definitely one of the better diners in Brooklyn! Consistently good food, huge portions and fair prices. Waitstaff has ALWAYS been friendly, competent and attentive. Steaks, chops, burgers, fish all done right. Extensive Greek food selection. Delicious deserts. Off the beaten path on the corner of Quentin Road and Flatbush Avenue, parking can be a bit difficult.

This has the typical staple diner food (exactly what I want in a diner!) with some added, personal extras at reasonable prices, especially since I normally have leftovers enough for lunch the next day. I come from an area with diners aplenty and love Oasis for comfort dining & a homey feeling. Our server seemed new, but was friendly and attentive. Our meal came out pretty quickly, too. As another reviewer stated, many diners have closed; I really hope this place doesn't.

While in Brooklyn we asked someone from Brooklyn for a diner. He said Oasis. Perfect choice. They bring you mini muffins to start. They are warm and very good. We all enjoyed our breakfast and had great service from our waitress. Great find.

Diners are at a premium in Brooklyn, NY. After a lifetime of good eats, the bulk of the diners have closed. Close to my neighborhood of Mill Basin there are two left. One, a long-standing diner (not naming names) is quite large and has been practically empty when I’ve gone there. The food is “eh.” Moving on to Oasis. It’s small with good service. Always busy, they serve reasonably priced, delicious food. It’s a typical diner menu. Burgers, wraps, paninis, hot open-faced sandwiches, a nice selection of fish and meat entrees, Greek specialties, etc., classic breakfasts with yummy corn or blueberry mini-muffins on the table. They quickly deliver huge portions with all the fixings... coleslaw, pickles, plastic cutlery, salt, pepper, ketchup. Thank heavens for this Oasis in the middle of a “dry” diner neighborhood!

This place has a menu with a menu the size of a novella, and everything I have ever gotten on it has been great! The service is friendly, the decor is classic diner in a borough where authentic is being quickly replaced by imitators of authenticity.

this is a real greek diner . the type of diners that were all over new York years ago . the diner is outstanding everything from egg to steaks . the stuffed sole is one of the best I have ever had. the service is friendly at the counter or at tables . you know when your in a real Greek diner when their are at least 2 or 3 people named George the coffee is the best diner coffee in the city. the owners are always in the restaurant . I will always return to this place

Many were the times I enjoyed my lunch at the Oasis Diner on Flatbush Avenue. Always good, tasty, & fresh food & good service. I worked a few blocks away & this was my diner of choice. You'll enjoy it too!

The Oasis is a great diner in Brooklyn. There are so many going out of business but i hope this one stays.. Their portion size if huge and pretty much whatever you order , you will like. I have never had a bad meal there. Their Chicken Francese is delicious and there Banker chicken sandwich i love.. They have great breakfast as well.

This is our go-to diner though there are two we could walk to we'll always drive here. All the staff are wonderful & helpful. If you love seafood, you'll find none better or fresher than here. All diners' prices are similar but quality rises to the top. Meat-lover? The Roumanian tenderloin is a must. Great breakfasts too!

As soon as I entered, I got the old school NY diner feel and it was nostalgic. The host immediately welcomed me. She sat me down, provided me a menu and asked me if I would like coffee or tea. I of course asked for coffee. Right off the bat the service was phenomenal, welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I love that type of service! The waitress came and took my order. I asked for eggs Benedict without bacon and to substitute turkey sausage in stead. She took my order and while I waited another gentleman came with a glass of water and complimentary mini muffins. Can it get any better with the service? The eggs bene was okay. Coffee is bold, I like that. Home fries also just okay but I'm not big on them anyways. The mini muffins were dry but who cares their free lol So the food is 5 but the service is a 10! I will come back to try more.

We are staying in an air bnb close to the diner. Walked in the freezing cold to find this warm and classic diner. We love to come to the USA to eat at diners: Inexpensive, non pretentious food and bottomless coffee. The kids meals are great value. I even managed to get vegetarian food, a Mediterranean omlette which was good. By husband had a pannini and said it was delicious. Portion sizes are huge, we took home boxes! Very happy with Oasis diner. Thank you!

Simply great, quick, well portioned and tasty breakfast. We had the pancakes and the ham omelette. Servers were friendly and the place was PACKED!

I’ve been eating at Oasis for years. At a certain point I stopped, the reason being the floors are filthy! The food is delicious. The service is excellent. The problem is the floors are never swept. Yes, it’s a small place, not like all the huge diners of Brooklyn that went out of business. They all had their busboys sweep under the table when it was vacated. At Oasis, the floors have dropped napkins, bread crumbs, and other detritus that should be cleaned up. I wonder when the floors were last washed. Also, last year’s shoddy Christmas decorations are still up! Lazy, much? But, because it’s one of the only diners left in town it’s busy. I’ll have to think twice before eating there again.

I've been coming to the Oasis for breakfast for over 30 years. Omelettes never disappoint, they have the best pancakes and French toast for sure! Bacon is always cooked to perfection and coffee is the usual diner coffee. We've been there for dinner as well. Juicy, delicious burgers, yummy Greek food, excellent sandwiches, they have 4 types of fries...regular, sweet potato, waffle fries and curly fries...all delicious. Food isn't overly greasy for what it is...typical diner food! We've ordered delivery too but a lot of times the fries are soggy so I have to crisp them up in the oven for a few minutes. Much better if you go there and eat inside! My kids absolutely love it too.

Large portions of tasty food. Only criticism is that tables could be a little larger, we had to shuffle plates astound. In particular, French onion soup and Ruben sandwich were great.
Best Falafel Wrap So Far
May have been the late night hunger that made this so delicious but seriously, a meal-sized wrap for 3$? I was full to bursting. Great bet for budget travellers, or anyone really. There are other meat options as well but can't comment on those. Not a big fancy spot but there are quite a few seats to grab lunch with friends.
