Since he loves a good steak, I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We had gorgeous weather and a perfect spot on the patio, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. The manager even assisted us with a wine choice and he was quite personable. I had the filet, and it was excellent and cooked perfectly. The wine suggested was a delicious cab that went extremely well with the steak. At $115/bottle it was a bit pricey compared to what I normally consume, but considering this is one of fine dining's at it's best, it was worth every penny for a special occasion. The jalapeno au gratin potatoes were my fave side -- out of this world and worth every calorie. I also had a Caesar and the asparagus with béarnaise sauce, which were also both delish. The service on the patio was a bit slow, but even so we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back again.

I made a reservation earlier in the month for my husband’s special 60th birthday. I had only been to Ocean Prime Dallas one time when I took a customer group this summer and we had a lovely evening full of impeccable service, food and it set a lasting positive impression. I had previously been to your other Ocean prime locations but only once to Dallas. I thought to myself this would be the perfect way to celebrate my husband’s upcoming birthday. I consulted my friend who is a Dallas restaurant connoisseur to support the decision and booked it for the evening of Saturday, Sept 24 at 7:30 p.m for a party of four. I booked a special table, requested waiter Gaddy, plus requested the dessert be brought out on a decorated plate to create the perfect evening. However, what happened this evening is not the perfect evening. Here is what was great…the table location, Gaddy’s service and attention to details, the hostess, the appetizers and your concierge who was magnificent. The cocktails, the dinner…all impeccable. However, midway through our experience the table next to us was sat and the patrons were drunk, rude, loud and vulgar. They were a disruption to the entire restaurant. They dropped the “f bomb” and were drinking shots, getting drunk and completely disorderly. It ruined our evening; we could not finish up and leave fast enough. We barely finished our meal and passed up having dessert served to us. Gaddy was stuck in the middle waiting on all of us so we knew there was little he could do to help. However, we would have expected your management team to be empowered to handle such situations with grace and dignity. But that was not the case. From our point of view, the manager didn’t confront the situation at all, but instead tried to chat with them, not solving the problem. The behavior continued. It would appear he was not empowered to do anything at all accept put up with their terrible demeanor. Perhaps the rude people were celebrities or even football players, I don’t know and I don’t care. That should not matter. All people in public should have a higher standard of behavior at Ocean Prime. I personally went up to them prior to leaving and told them with all courtesy how they had ruined our celebration evening. They stared at me and wasn’t sure what to say. In the end, I hold you accountable, the owners of Ocean Prime to ensure civil behavior and a standard dress code for an establishment as nice as Ocean Prime. Instead, you have lowered your standards to accept and welcome all people even those loud, obnoxious, drunk and dressed in t-shirts, flip flops and shorts to dine. You can charge $70.00 for a cut of ribeye but you have no high standards for the patrons you want to serve. To say the least, we will not be back to any Ocean Prime location ever. I use to depend on locations and service like Ocean Prime to entertain my customers across the U.S. but there are certainly other restaurants with higher standards that we will now utilize. We will never be able to get that night out with my husband again. It’s gone. I can only hope that this letter would improve the lives and experience of your future guests. Your guests deserve more from you than this. All patrons should be polite and considerate of others around them. If I owned a restaurant I would expect a standard of care from my patrons and from my staff all the way around. That’s what a civilized society should be all about.

We had a connecting flight in Dallas back to Zürich, and we decided to stay an extra day. After a long day of mall crawling at the Galleria in Dallas, TripAdvisor helped steer my wife and I here for our last dinner. I was keen to find a staeak house with a variety of raw bar options. We were thoroughly pleased with our shrimp cocktail starter, and perfectly grilled sirloins. I had mine done Oscar style which included asparagus tips, chunk crab meat and Béarnaise sauce. It was over the top delicious and filling. Our waiter was really cool, and was always checking up on us without being intrusive. I highly recommend enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail aperitif at the chic lounge around the corner called The Tipsy Alchemist.

The food was amaZing as always. The service was great. Went there for a work meeting and ended up inviting all our friends. The salads were even unbelievable as were our fish dishes. Great fresh food!! Great atmosphere and service.

Fabulous dinner best 16oz ribeye. Mac and cheese and lobster mashed potatoes killer! And top it off with a fun bubbles and berries drink - just awesome!

First time diners at Ocean Prime .... wish I would have been there sooner. This is a very smart looking, elegantly decorated and designed restaurant. Service and food were both extraordinary. Delicious bread service and wonderful craft cocktails - the Old Fashion couldn't have been better. Lobster bisque and house salad were well prepared and tasty. Chicken and filet entrees were unquestionably high quality proteins prepared perfectly, so moist and tasty. Accompaniments with the entrees were perfect. Can't wait to return.

18oz Cowboy steak, mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, Mac n cheese , chocolate cake and butter cake is what we ordered. Food was absolutely superb!

Read the reviews and was not disappointed ! Amazing food.Service was impeccable and the fresh produce was perfectly prepared.

Diverse menu with something for everybody in elegant surroundings with attentive service. Plenty of room between the tables so you can hear conversation around a larger table for work. Texas redfish, nicely spiced, on a bed of cornbread, beautiful tuna appetizer, delicious chocolate peanut butter pie. High end wine list.

Has a great evening celebrating our anniversary. The food was perfect: strip steak, filet mignon, creamy mashed potatoes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, salad... All perfectly prepared and delicious. Our waiter was great..let us take our time and enjoy company of family. Even the gent filling our water glasses was really nice. Only issue was a la crate and size of vegetable sides. Brussel sprouts came and were a small bowl half filled. Be prepared to spend some money! However the food, experience, people watching were worth it.

So 7 years later and the quality remains strong. The scalloped potatoes still yummy. They layer in fresh jalapeños which gives it a nice heat. We had one meal from restaurant week, the sea bass, and it was better that other area restaurants.

Again, we were a big group and all the staff were extremely friendly. Prompt service, great food presentation and taste. Our waiter gave us superb service. Only thing I regretted was he is a Cowboy fan and says he’ll remember me since I am a Redskins fan.

Terrance is very comfortable with great views. Service and food are enjoyable and in my opinion is recommendable for special dines.

On a Saturday night, in this sparsely populated restaurant, nine of us went in and five steaks were ordered. After an hour and a half, four steaks were delivered and 7 of us had our dinner. While we all waited for the last shared steak to arrive …. It simply didn’t. And I mean DID NOT!!! For over 1/2 hour!!! The waitress arrived in tears, with apologies, but she doesn’t run the kitchen. The restaurant manager arrived, in vibrant attire, with offers for complementary dessert. WHAT? Why didn’t you come with dinner? It is impossible that a restaurant could be this mismanaged. I can’t really comment on the food because nobody got to eat any hot food because we were all waiting for a complete table order. You go if you want, we won’t be back. Totally mismanaged environment.

We had been told Ocean Prime had the best steaks in town, so we booked it for our 25th anniversary. I noted this special occasion on our reservation. We were greeted by the hostess with a warm "Happy Anniversary." We were then taken to a table with rose petals surrounding the candle. Our waiter assured us he would help make our evening a special memory. The food was as advertised - the steak, combined with shrimp scampi, was perfectly cooked, flavorful and melted in your mouth. My wife believes the Berries and Bubbles is the best cocktail she's ever enjoyed. Par for the course, they threw in a dessert, complete with a "Happy Anniversary" greeting on the cake, to round out a perfect dinner experience.

We ate here on a Saturday night in November. We were promptly seated upon our arrival and the restaurant is very quiet and nicely decorated. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the manager which was a nice touch. Then our waiter Taylor arrived. He was not the least bit interested in assisting us. He would ask a question and while we were answering he was walking away from the table. Both my wife and I ordered fish which arrived very quickly. Unfortunately the food was barely above room temperature. It was nicely prepared but was not hot. As for Taylor, we did not see him the rest of the evening until the check arrived. I left the table once to get a bus boy to refill our glasses with water. Also, the restaurant was only 1/3 full so I do not think he was over worked. For a $180 bill it would be nice to be checked at least once during your meal. We might return but will not accept Taylor as our wait staff.

Delicious steak!!!! This is a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. All the food was delicious and served nicely! Our waiter was wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant!

My spouse and I set up a reservation before we went to the Stars game. The food and the staff were WONDERFUL. From the soup to salad to the mouthwatering scallops and the best steak my husband has ever eaten. It was a meal to remember. Also loved the berries and bubbles drink. It was fascinating watching it bubble.

Beautiful place. We were able to sit together with a party of 30. Uncle troy had the crab cakes a little pricey but just consider where we were. They didn't require we have a set menu and the service was great. We will come back for date night later

Booked at 3:30 pm Friday. Had to go early to get a table. Been a while since we visited, but after tonight made me wonder why we waited so long to come back. Oysters weren't gulf, but still excellent. Had Dutch Harbor king crab legs and they were exceptional. Three entire legs split in half, with asparagus with drawn butter. Amazing!!! Best I've had in a long time. My wife had Wagyu fillet which she enjoyed, but she was so jealous watching me devour the crab legs. Going back shortly for her to have her crab leg fix. Service was superb. Top notch establishment .

We expected exceptional food and service and got it! A really nice experience with the family. Have eaten at other Ocean Primes around the country and they’ve never let me down.

We came to celebrate an anniversary, and we are foodies. We had Sunday turf/surf with filet, scallops and shrimp, French onion soup, and house salad. The filet was perfectly cooked with a great savory crust, the seafood was well seasoned and cooked well, and the other courses were equally delectable. Our waiter Najeeb made the evening especially memorable with attentive and timely service and knowledge of the menu. They even treated us to creme brûlée to celebrate our special anniversary. Will be back for sure!

Had dinner here w/ friends for a birthday celebration. The Berries & Bubbles is quite the fun & delicious drink to get! Everything we had was outstanding ~ lobster bisque, Caesar salad, calamari, crab cakes, salmon, crab legs, steak. We had the 10 layer carrot cake for dessert, which is definitely the bomb!!

Went at 9:30 pm to have a drink at the bar with husband and daughter who just moved into condo upstairs. . We waited while 15 people exited bar. We asked to go in for a cocktail and the hostess told us there was no room. The waiter told her there was plenty of room. She told us to get a drink and go sit outside where there was no service. We said no thank you and left. Obviously she doesn’t care if they make money. We will not revisit and will share our experience. We love their Michigan location, but thus one has a bitchy hostess.

An excellent ambiance for business meals. Very good food; reasonable portions; fair prices. The pace of service was great. If you have the option to request a server, you will not be disappointed with Paige; outstanding.

Outstanding! Great food, great service. Our waiter Daniel was exceptional. Highly recommend for upscale dining in the Dallas area.

The food was pretty ordinary with a few exceptions. Lobster bisque arrived lukewarm at best and did not include a chuck of lobster, just a large bread/crouton thing. Chicken was also lukewarm and seriously overcooked, rendering it very dry. Salmon was bland and the advertised lobster gnocchi was missing. Sea Bass was very good, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Additionally, the bread was good as was the calamari appetizer. The service was okay, nothing special. Not busy, but our server seemed to disappear for long periods of time. Had to ask for water glasses to be refilled. For the prices here, one would expect an excellent dining experience. Sadly, we just had an average or lower experience. There was absolutely nothing about our experience that would cause us to ever return.

Dinner for 10 can be an event, but Ocean Prime did it right. Entrees were all perfect, sides fabulous and the wine was great.

We chose this restaurant based on the wine list posted online. Guess what, not the same wine list. Major disappointment. However the meal was fabulous. Steak and blackened red fish were prepared perfectly. The jalapeño potatoes au granting were the best I've ever had.

Thank you so much for recognizing our anniversary! I mentioned it over the phone while making a reservation and when we arrived there were rose petals on the table and everyone, even the manager on the way out congratulated us. The gluten free menu was extensive and absolutely delicious all the way throughout!

High end atmosphere in this always busy Cedar Springs landmark. Interesting drinks that "smoke". Oysters from Wellsfleet and Rhode Island were superb. Main course Sea Bass was excellent and desert had about every sweet treats mixed together you can imagine. Yummy. Four stars because of too, too expensive.

We came into Dallas for the Elton John concert and friends brought us to Ocean Prime as it was near the American Airlines Center where the concert was held. Our table was in a dark area and people at our table and the next one were constantly using the flashlight on their phones to look at the menu, so that we had bright lights flashed in our eyes periodically throughout the meal. The drinks were large and the server knowledgeable, but a little talkative. The Dynamite Roll as an appetizer (tempura shrimp, spicy mayo, sesame seeds) was tasty and spicy. We ordered the ahi tuna and sea scallops and the first indication of a problem was when they set a steak knife at my place for the [raw] ahi. I thought that perhaps they had set it at the wrong place, but it turned out to be right as both the ahi and the scallops were overcooked and tasteless (but expensive). Overall, a very disappointing experience. Next time, I'll pick the restaurant.

I'm not adverse to splurging on a decadent meal, but when I do I want to be blown away. The flavor profile of my salmon dish was pretty basic, with the English peas overwhelming the rather flavorless salmon. I sent my first drink back because it really didn't taste like anything. Ended up with a fairly decent whiskey sour. The lobster mac and cheese was great. My opinion... skip this touristy run of the mill meal and seek out a more evolved menu.

Went last night for a girls night out and had a great time with the bartender Cody. He was really sweet it made us feel very welcome. He made us a fabulous drink with lots of bubbles. We later moved inside for dinner. Our waitress Taylor left much to be desired. She did not check on us, had to flag her down to get my drink and then only came to deliver the check. Of note, it didn't seem exceptionally busy. The food was okay. I had the red fish, my friends had the lobster roll, lobster mash potatoes and the crab cakes. It seems we paid for the ambience which was indeed nice but not something I'm super excited to pay for again.

Was invited here for a business dinner, Waited for friends but wasn’t allowed to go to the bar even thought it was empty. Your greeter needs to be less forthright as it’s not a doctors surgery a smile and pleasantry’s cost nothing. When we were finally in the server was excellent which was the saving grace of the visit. Our rare steak was medium well and dry at its best I’ll just leave it there save your money and go to one of the other venues, we have eaten at some great ones whilst here…

From the moment we walked in we loved the atmosphere. The hostess does need to work on her politeness and welcoming skills but besides that it was a pleasant evening. I'm always concerned if our waiter is up to par and it did take a minute before anyone tended to us but once he introduced himself to us the rest of the evening went amazing. His cocktail recommendations were superb...from the margarita to the bubbly berry drink to a drink with an orchid in the ice...just amazing! The attention from the waiter was great throughout the while evening! My wife ordered the crabcakes that she loved and I ordered the tuna that tasted amazing. I would have preferred the tuna to have arrived sliced instead of two big chunks of tuna but all in all the choices were amazing and full of flavor. We ended with the amazing best ever 10 layer carrot cake with no nuts! We were so happy about that since we were able to take some home to our kids who have nut allergies:-) All in all one of our favorite restaurants and we will be back!

I’ve probably written a review for Ocean Prime in the past. I go here specifically for the sea bass. It’s the best I can find at any restaurant. True cocktails are good. Service is typically good although this particular visit was sub par. Probably because I was siting in the bar. My server seemed to know nothing about the menu and kept forgetting things. This isn’t typical but will he remembered.

You can call me a ‘steak snob’. I’ve been to some of the best steakhouses in the DFW area, but hands down, my filet tonight at Ocean Prime was A M A Z I N G!!! Tender and flavorful and cooked to perfection! My dinner guests also enjoyed their ‘ocean’ choices and Our server, Marco, was the best! Thank you for a great night!

This restaurant has amazing food and five star service! Everything we ordered from appetizer to dessert was fabulous. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. He made our dinner fun. The attention to detail is awesome here right down to the Sommelier visiting your table to assist you

This upscale restaurant is beautifully decorated, has a lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. Walking up and seeing the large fire pit helps set the tone for a cozy and romantic evening. The service is without a doubt, refined and friendly without being overly syrupy or contrived. We came to Ocean Prime to celebrate a couple's wedding anniversary with the expectation of enjoying a wonderful dinner. Our expectations were not only met but were certainly exceeded. You will not be disappointed with Ocean Prime as your upscale restaurant destination.

Booked a table for two on the enclosed terrace to celebrate our anniversary. We were offered champagne before we arrived at the table, which was adorned with fresh rose petals. Excellent food and service; a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary or birthday.

From the moment we announced ourselves at the reception desk all the way through dinner, the staff did everything possible to help us enjoy our anniversary dinner. We were greeted with "happy anniversary" as we arrived, upon introduction by our waiter, Ron, and as we left. The table selection was out of the way in almost private corner - nice! There were even rose petals on our table and a complimentary desert. I'll get to the food and service in a moment, but suffice it to say it was a wonderful evening. Ron took excellent care of us throughout the evening. He poured my Martinis from the shakers at the table (not spilling a drop!) just the way I like them. I started with the Crab Cake appetizer, and my spouse started with the French Onion soup. The Crab Cake with mustard/horseradish cream was heavenly. The French Onion was a large portion and devilishly rich. I also wanted a salad with my Lamb Chops and Ron recommended a half portion of the Chop Chop salad - it was indeed the right choice. the half portion was plenty large enough. My spouse's Sea Bass was perfectly prepared and delicious. My Lamb Chops were, again a generous portion, perfectly medium rare, but hot through, and delicious as well. I like that they have a generous wine by the glass offering so you and your dining partner can have different wines to go with different food choices or if you just don't feel like drinking all that much wine. Ron did indeed take wonderful care of us and invited us back for our next anniversary, and you know, we just might do that! One more surprise, as lovely as the entire evening was from beginning to end, the bill was surprisingly reasonable. So, one more reason to go back and see Ron!

Service was SLOW, my husband never received his 2nd glass of wine; apps were OK, NO OYSTERS as advertised & my entire meal tasted BURNT from being under the heat lamps for too long. Never again!

The service did not warrant 5 stars what with an understaffed cavernous place but the food totally made up for it. Oysters were fresh with great accompaniments but deserved to be eaten with just a dash of pepper and drop of lemon. Salad was fresh and crispy with a tangy dressing. The fish was boldly blackened but moist and flaky on the inside.

On Feb 7, 2019, we had Girls' Night Out and decided to have dinner at Ocean Prime located in Dallas. The bartender, Cody, was the highlight of the restaurant. He had an outstanding personality and made us the most delicious "Bubbles and Berries" drinks. Afterwards we all ordered different foods such as the Lobster Sushi, Crab Cakes, Redfish, and ended with dessert. We all agreed the foods were okay. Now let me emphasized that we had a waitress named, Taylor, who seemed to have very inadequate customer service skills. Taylor served our meals but never came back to our table to check to see if we need anything. She seemingly just ignored out table and only came back to give us our bills. We all gave her a nice tip and my friends had to remind me that “when they go low we go high.” Otherwise I would have given her a small nominal amount. Thanks goodness for friends. Waitresses like Taylor needs to know that their bad dispositions and attitude can really have a negative effect on a business.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this upscale restaurant. Seafood is featured and not disappointed. We had steelhead trout, salmon and sea scallops. Seared and cooked to perfection. Presented with a variety of starches and vegetables. Super atmosphere and very good service. Excellent meal.

The service and the wine were the only thing that kept us from complaining or just walking out. Probably the worst fish dish I’ve ever had and a ribeye that had no flavor whatsoever … and the consistency of the steak was as if previously frozen. Seriously have no idea why this place has good reviews. We will not be back.

On vacation in Dallas, our friend brought us to one of his favorite spots for drinks, Ocean Prime. The space itself is very upscale and swanky and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. We sat at the bar (I think you can walk in for dinner but nah need reservations for the private rooms/large parties) and was immediately greeted and asked for what we would like to drink. This place has really cool & fun speciality cocktails which is what I ordered the two times we visited - I tried the Berry Bubbly and Black Orchid cocktails, both of which we're so fascinating to look at that the guests on either side of me asked me what I was drinking! While at the bar we also got free bowls of "black truffle popcorn" which is maybe the best popcorn I've ever had! We didn't stay for appetizers or dinner but from the number of guests having dinner in there, we could tell the food was good. There was also live music both times - a man playing guitar and singing acoustic versions of popular songs. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would go back again!

We arrived at 6pm to eat dinner after a work meeting and prior to the Mavericks v Hornets basketball game. The black orchid cocktail was beautiful and delicious. I ordered the grilled Brussel sprouts and the sautéed button mushrooms. I also had their tasty pretzel bread. I was very full with the drink and two sides. My colleagues all ordered steak or seafood and no one left a morsel on the plate. Everyone stated how impressed they were with the attention and food. I highly recommend this place. It was delicious and the beautiful atmosphere was icing on the cake. Great place to go while in Downtown Dallas!

We booked via Open Table. Ocean Prime is one of Dallas' trendy restaurant. The ultra-modern decor is beautiful. Our server, recently relocated from Houston, was top notch. The food, while not gourmet, is on the cutting edge. The wine list is exhaustive. Being from out of town ... one cannot beat Uber.

Went here with colleagues again this year. We ordered apps. Calamari was great (second year in a row I ordered it) a roll (was good wish I ordered more sushi) I ended up getting a steak..was solid with some lobster gratin on top (I know). Vince of sides which were yummy. Desert was awesome. If you like peanut butter and chocolate...then you will know what to order. House cocktails are also very a good choice.

This place is always magnificent. The design and atmosphere is impeccable. From the moment you walk in you receive outstanding service. My wife and I have eaten here 4 times and each time Has been very special. All the food is remarkable. The fish and steak are wonderful. I have never eaten anything which was not exceptional. The jalapeño potato au gratin is unique and brilliant. You will never forget your dining experience at Ocean Prime.

The ambience was very warm and the service impeccable . I was however a bit disappointed with the sea bass I ordered . It was too oily and was not that fresh ... ( a bit saw dusty).... the house wine was very drinkable :: all in all not a bad experience . Though the good was a bit overrated ...

My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary today. He chose to go to Ocean Prime and it was the best decision! The Host staff was awesome, Tony greeted us and made us feel very welcome, our server Josh was terrific and to top it off... the food was AMAZING! My husband had the 16oz Rib Eye and I had the Red Snapper. Both were cooked perfectly! We ended the evening with a 10 later carrot cake on the house since it was a special occasion! Thank you to all!! We will be returning again soon!

Sunday night dinner of four . Traveling in for an early Monday meeting We selected the Sunday's menu with some differences 1. All selected onion soup . Very good! 2. Mix of sea food and meet The four fletes were cooked perfect at medium The scallops were delicious as well as the shrimp. 3. Wine very nice Reataurant was half full ( Sunday night), service was excellent Very recommended choice

Expensive steak restaurant, with a good menu; starter was lovely, steak was OK, dessert was poor - wine was served too cold (and for $60 at least, was really not good enough)

Ordered a boneless rib eye steak for $50 and was served a strip steak with no fat. Returned the steak and was served another strip steak. Very disappointed with this so called “top 10” Dallas steak house. Never coming back. Service very slow on a non busy Sunday.

We planned to have dinner here. We ordered appetizers and they were not good. The calamari was rubbery and the oysters were nothing special. Since we were at a seafood restaurant and the appetizers were not good we decided to go elsewhere. Very disappointing for us. The restaurant looked like a cool spot but it was not what we expected. Maybe an off night.

Alex runs the bar area like a finely tuned happy machine. Shrimp cocktail presentation takes your breath away. Sushi special is a wow. The bar seating is much more fun. Patio also good if weather is nice outside. Love the place Spencer

Went here for a business dinner. Had great appetizers, scallops for a main (which were perfectly cooked) and a beautiful cheesecake for dessert. The food was tasty, nicely plated, and the service was very gracious. Would definitely come here again.

Relaxing atmosphere and the wait staff was superb. The lobster bisque had a luscious creamy lobster taste. My wife had the scallops and I went with the salmon. The scallops were cooked to perfection. They had a nice sear on the outside. When you bit into them they were sweet and fresh tasting. The accompanying risotto provided a creamy, salty and slightly acidic balance. My salmon was cooked medium. It was moist and flaky. The sauce provided a buttery, salty accent to the salmon. We finished with the 10 layer carrot cake. What a way to end. The cake was moist and had all the flavors one looks for in a carrot cake. The frosting between each layer was thick, creamy and slightly sweet. A very enchanting anniversary.

And someone else was paying. Very memorable meal; however, had someone ordering who frequented this location. Ordered items off the menu. Seafood was excellent.

Ocean Prime is one of our favorite restaurant. The Sea Bass is outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised to find a special Sunday 3 course menu for a fixed price. Nice selection and pairing.

Wonderful Anniversary celebrated at Ocean Prime. Service was wonderful starting with the Hostess to server to Managers. Table was set up with red rose petals when we arrived and I lost count of how many people stopped by to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Food was delicious. I rarely rate a restaurant EXCELLENT but you deserve it!

Good menu w seafood and steak. Convenient setting in uptown. Servers very attentive. Bar a decent scene as well.

My second visit to Ocean Prime...both times we sat in the outside bar area....great location....views of the city, and the activity in and around the area....both times we experienced exceptional service....very knowledgeable and attentive....we took advantage of the "theater menu" this trip....available Monday through Friday from 4-6:00 p.m. for $55 per person. The menu offers a choice of three different first course options....we both had the French onion soup....it was very tasty. The second course is an 8 oz. filet with either shrimp scampi, scallops, or a crab cake. I had the crab cake, my date had the scallops. The filet was excellent and cooked perfectly. The crab cake and scallops were very good, as well. You also get a choice of six different sides--we had the truffle mac and cheese and the jalapeno au gratin potatoes. Both were excellent. The portion sizes are very large....a real value for the money. If you are going to Uptown Dallas, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

Great ambiance and superb food and service. Terrific wine list. I had the diver scallops, lobster bisque, and sides of tater tots, jalapeño mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The food is fresh and delicious. Great place!

This was our first time at Ocean Prime and it was excellent. We were celebrating my wifes birthday and she wanted some seafood. OP did not disappoint. The service and food were excellent. I highly recommend the lobster bisque, crab cakes, ahi tuna, tater tots, and the peanut butter pie. I will definitely return.

Wonderful meal with family for Restaurant Week! Great selections. We all chose the Lobster Bisque & the filet. Along with excellent desserts we had a great time. We will return Thank you for participating in Restaurant Week & helping the North Texas Food bank!

Went for a dinner meeting. Very private dining room off the main area kept things quiet. Excellent appetizers; about the tastiest calamari I have had. Scallops near perfect and the risotto with them was tasty (although not the best I have ever had). Veggies not overcooked.

Taken here for a business dinner with three others in our party. A bit pricey but the food was very good. Calamari appetizer, good for sharing, was crispy and sweat. Hamachi crudo was very flavorful with excellent ponzu sauce but is a small portion with 5 smallish pieces. Parmesean fries were good, but nothing special. Lobster and corn bisque soup was very tasty, full of flavor. I had the lamb chops (only two, although TripAdvisor menu states 3), which were full of flavor and prepared perfectly. My colleagues had some steaks and ribeye and were so full, they brought half home. Brussel sprouts and mushroom sides were good. This is a huge restaurant with many sections and side rooms for parties. Mostly business crowd during the week.

Wanted to make a reservation for a birthday with 8 people and the event organizer sent me an email to sign a contract. LOL. In the contract it was all legal, threatening lingo such as: If more guests join the party they will not be shown to the room or if all guests have not arrived within 15 minutes of reservation, it will be cancelled and I will be charged for the full price. I was reading that nonsense and laughing and made a reservation at Nabu, across from the street, where they can watch us from their dining room window. Way to go Ocean Prime.

We really enjoy bringing our kids here. We come for happy hour and sit in the lounge area. They get to snack on popcorn and we order from the small bites menu OR regular menu. Magdalena took very good care of us recently and we will be back again soon!!

Beautiful location. Only $5 for Valet parking. Impeccable service. Our server was Gadi and he was so knowledgeable about every item on the menu. He was also personally a very interesting and intelligent man and we enjoyed meeting and conversing with him so much. On weeknights they have a theatre menu with soup or salad and surf and turf and one small side for $55. The house salad was heavenly with warm goat cheese and candied nuts. The 8 ounce filet was cooked perfectly. As a group we had the truffle mac and cheese, jalapeño potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach and lobster mashed potatoes. I would definitely have the jalapeño au gratin and truffle mac and cheese again. The desserts were all huge and delicious. The carrot cake was 10 layers of a light cake with cream cheese frosting ( no raisins or nuts). The sorbet was light and fruity. The best one was a peanut butter mousse encased in chocolate on an Oreo cookie crust. But the best thing I had was a cocktail called Berries and Bubbles. It is a You have to try it!

We sat in the lounge for a casual scene and the service was top notch. We had the surf and turf special and loved the salads and soups. The steaks were great and the turf portion was great. The drinks were a hit including my bubbly Berry one.

When in Dallas treat yourself to EXCELLENT seafood. I've eaten at both the Denver and this location and it is a challenge to pick which is the better......The minute you sit down in the luxurious restaurant your mouth will begin watering. Succulent shrimp, smooth and creamy bisque and fresh, expertly prepared fish flown in for your pleasure. Just to mention a few of my favorites. World class wine selection .......and check out the bar where you can hear local talent sing. Tenor singing opera last time I was in made the evening!!! For a very special evening, you can count on Ocean Prime.

Ocean Prime is in wonderful uptown Dallas with a wonderful atmosphere to set the scene. The scene is fine dining at its best with a menu to fulfill the every foodies dreams. Seafood was a must at this venue considering it was our first visit and my wife had the king salmon with lobster and gnocchi. It was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops with the Parmesan lemon risotto. It was worthy of royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or local to the Dallas area.

I eat good food all the time. I’m not a snob, but it takes something special to impress me. They go the extra mile at Ocean Prime. Our cocktails were fantastic and food amazing!

I visited this well-known seafood restaurant during my stay in Dallas. I enjoyed to be in thtis decorative restaurant with the nice bar room atmosphere and the sympathy and attentive waitress Suzi. As appetizer I had six fleshy WEST COAST OYSTERS on the half shell and as second starter I preferred the SASHIMI ON ICE selection with Ahi tuna, salmon and Hamachi together with soy sauce and Wasabi horse radish, As main dish is the pink grilled AHI TUNA with mango, avocado, cashews, spicy sesame, soy glaze and creamy mashed potatoes with garlic an excellent choice. After a well-mixed CUCUMBER GIMLET, made with Bombay Sapphire Gin, muddled fresh cucumber and hand squeezed lime, is the Saint Arnold’s Amber craft beer from Houston Texas very recommendable for food pairing. To finish the excellent dinner with a chilled café espresso mixed with Clase Azul Mescal made by 100% Cenzino Agave was a perfect evening round off and worth to visit this recommendable restaurant again.

We had a business lunch there but it is just overrated. It just didn't do anything for me at lunch. The truffle deviled eggs are nice for an appetizer. I also had the lobster bisque soup which was a total let down; it was just a bunch of broth with four kernels of corn and a small chuck of bread in the top. Typically this soup comes with at least a piece of lobster in it. Was not worth the calories. We all had sea bass for lunch. The two ends of mine were cooked but he center was not cooked. The flavors were not there for me. I did like the fresh squeezed lemonade; very nice. Not a spot I would do for dinner again. Needs a menu change.

Well worth the money!! I had the blackened reddish and my wife had the crab cakes. Bother were delicious. I had the chocolate peanutbutter pie and my wife had the creme bruele. The portions were big and were very good!!

There to celebrate my brother in laws 50th. He is gluten free and we chose OP due to a separate GF menu. Everything was outstanding. Really extensive wine list. Bring primarily a big steak house I understand why 90% of the wines were American but I was able to find several really nice Italians to choose from. Rodney was our waiter and took great care of us. Made everyone feel so comfortable and wasn't crowded so he was able to spend some time and take us through the menu in detail. Most everyone order a fish dish and my 87 year mom had the meal of her life. She is still raving about it. Dinner was topped off by home made crembrule which was the BEST. Totally a very memorable dining experience. Can't wait to go back. HIGHLY recommend.

We dined here before a concert at American Airlines Center. It was very good. I had a shrimp cocktail over dry ice, wedge salad, sea bass and asparagus. I loved it all. Others in my family had halibut and crab cakes. All were good but crab cakes were wonderful. We shared the chocolate cake and the chocolate peanut butter pie. Both were delicious, especially the pie! There is no dress code, so you can dress casually, but most folks wore business casual. We were able to go straight to concert in no time! I highly recommend OP!

We go here prior to every basketball game we catch. We also go for happy hour just because sometimes. To put that in perspective is to say that we literally drive about 20+ miles to go here to grab a drink in their bar and partake in their amazing delicious appetizers. They have two bar areas (one inside and one outside yet covered) It's comfortable to sit outside and watch the rain on a nice wet evening. They also have a lounge area portion of the outside bar. The staff is amazing and pays such close attention to their tables/patrons. It's worth every penny.

An excellent high end restaurant with a great wait staff, excellent food options, and a convenient location. We had Jeff wait on us and he was probably the most professional waiter we’ve ever had. He was very accommodating with my wife’s high maintenance requests. A negative is that it is a little on the expensive side when you compare the costs to similar competitors.

A varied crowd prevailed in a happy and lively atmosphere on Saturday night the 5th of August. Our waiter's name was/is Matt. A vibrant 27 year old who is an "old soul" as it were. He took delightful care of us and made sure we had MORE than everything we needed. I recommend Ocean Prime HIGHLY! WWW.OCEAN-PRIME.COM is your ticket to smiles and good times. The TWIN TAILS of lobster was indeed delectable! Go do it!!!

This place is incredible. The food, the staff, the atmosphere are all at the top of the food scene. Obviously the seafood is great. Everything we have tried here has been fantastic. The custom drinks from the bar to the outdoor patio creates a vibrant place to be enjoyed by all. Hip, elegant and just great food.

My mother and I went here for lunch this past Friday. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, and also the food was delicious! My mother got the blackened redfish and I got the filet mignon. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was also very friendly. Absolutely no complaints, and I would definitely visit again.

Dinner Saturday night was INCREDIBLE!!! With Andrew as our waiter, every suggestion was impeccable! Highly recommend the red fish! and crab cakes! and lobster bisque! Basically....everything was divine. I am thrilled that my 50th birthday was made so special by the memories of such a fabulous restaurant and all the smiling faces of the staff!

My guy and I had dinner with friends at this restaurant on February 29, 2020 prior to attending The Eagles concert that night. The location of this restaurant was less than a mile from our venue, American Airlines Arena, and less than a mile from our hotel, Doubletree Market Place. Food, service, interior decor was wonderful! We would definitely return if back in the Dallas area. Freshly popped popcorn was already on the table as an appetizer. And a choice of 2 freshly baked breads with butter followed. We dined on Berkshire pork chops with fresh asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Our friends dined on Ahi Tuna and Steak filet. Could NOT have been better! What a wonderful dining experience!

The best Chillean Sea Bass was the best I have ever eaten. The carrot cake was delicious. The service was awesome. A must on your restaurant list.

We had a late reservation and the restaurant was almost empty. The service was beyond reproach. I had the twin lobster tails and my husband had steak Oscar. They have the best selection of wine and cognac! My husband had a $200 shot of Remy Martin Louis XIII. The presentation of this cognac It’s self was worth $200! I have to say it was one of the best meals I have ever had and I can’t wait to go back!

nice ambiance, great service, excellent wine list, food is OK, valet parking only as far as I know. overall my wife and friends have a great time.

Amazing evening!! My wife and I enjoyed dinner and a musical. We started our evening here at Ocean Prime, great restaurant. Enjoyed an elegant evening, our water Michael was great and very informative. We had Chilean Sea Bass, Sea Scallop, and Gouda Tater Tots suggested by Michael. Everything was GREAT cooked to perfection. Will return next time we visit Dallas.

Went there for lunch with a few colleagues, and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place. Everything I ordered was delicious, but especially their layered carrot cake for dessert.

Ocean Prime has a beautiful dinning room. Comfortable and well appointed. Great selection of wine. Service was good. Nice variety on the menu. Perfect size portions. The 10 layer carrot cake is a must. Nice flavors and not overly sweet. Definitely recommend Ocean Prime

Went here before a show at the nearby AT&T Performing Arts Center. Overall a very pleasant experience, although some elements of service could have been improved. We were immediately asked if we would like a cocktail, and we declined but said we would order a bottle of wine once we had selected an entrée. After perusing the menu, we placed our order and the waiter nearly ran off before we had a chance to order the wine. Also, a side we ordered was not brought out, but being full, said nothing. It didn't appear on the bill, so didn't get communicated to the kitchen. Had a great grouper dish, along with an amazing crab cake and some soups. Would prefer a deeper French wine selection, but overall nice.

I thought the food, service & ambience was quite lovely! My friend & I both had the seafood Cobb salad which was perfect. The wine selections were very nice & the warm butter cake was delish. I will definitely be back.

We went for our Anniversary. It was our first visit here and we thought the setting, food and service was excellent! Great wine selection

Perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion. From start to finish, everything met or exceeded our expectations. Service was attentive but respectful. Atmosphere was elegant but comfortable. Attention to detail was appreciated by all. Our party of 8 ordered a wide variety of drinks, appetizers, salads, sides, entrees, and desserts. Everyone was happy. Our guest of honor truly felt celebrated. We shall return.

It was a nice Saturday dinner and pleasant services . A little chilly inside with the AC cranked up otherwise everything else was perfect. Drinks and food came out to put likings . Steaks, fish dishes was delicious along with the side orders. The services was great and price is like any other high end restaurants .

This was my second experience dining at Ocean Prime, the other being at their Orlando location. Both visits were business meals and this proved to be an ideal location. The downtown setting is nice. They can seat larger parties with ease. The bar menu is very good offering plenty of usual favorites and some local flavor. The dinner menu is also very good and can meet a wide range of tastes. Two items are particularly good, the lobster bisque and the lobster mashed potatoes. Desserts are also excellent. The service here was very good, friendly and attentive without being too intrusive.

Unexpected date night on our first visit to the Dallas area was made even better with this gem! Our experience was exceptional! Romantic lighting at the table, service was top notch, food was amazing, money well spent!

Food was great, Waiter was great, but it was all ruined due to seating. We got there at 5:30, prior to a Mavericks game and were seated at a 4 top. No other tables in use, but some of the booths had people. after our drinks were server, they bring in a party of 6, seat them next to us. The 6 top was so close the when they pulled out a chair it hit me. First of, why did they seat our reservation there if they knew the other party was coming in. Second, they should have proactively handle the situation but they made me ask to be moved. So if you go, get a booth because they apparently do not know how to seat tables.

Good food, great service! Highly recommend for those who do not eat meat or got tired of numerous steakhouses :)

Group of 8. Friends & business partners. Even if you do not eat meat, you will have an outstanding meal here. Me: non meat eater. Our table devoured: outstanding sushi, calamari and truffle mac & cheese and mushrooms! Everyone had steaks except me. They were part of the clean plate club! I had the single crab cake. Thumbs up! Mercedes was our lead server and she had a great team to take care of us. Exceptionally talented, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Dinner would not be complete here without dessert. Our table had crème brûlée, cheesecake and the famous multi-layered carrot cake. Wonderful wine- Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon. Did I mention their addictive Truffled popcorn? Since I've eaten at the Ocean Prime in DC, I knew they would have it. Got my own little bowl too!

The cocktails were great, oysters fresh and delicious and a Hamachi crudo that was otherworldly. The service was great at our earlybird 400 dinner. Nice kids menu that my boy enjoyed the salmon from. The Florida Grouper and scallops over risotto were very delicious. The smoked gouda tater tots are also a must try. Nice location, fairly close to American Airlines center.

A beautiful Thursday evening in Dallas, a cause for a great dinner. We visited Ocean Prime, and this meal did not disappoint in any way. The service, the food, the setting, all were outstanding. Every bite we had was incredibly tasty. Andrew was our server, and he did a terrific job. Attentive, friendly, engaging. One minor slip, but great recovery. This restaurant is pricey. But, when you are up for it, a meal here for a special occasion is really well worth it.

We were celebrating our nephew being drafted into the NHL and the staff found out and gave us celebratory champagne and a dessert for my nephew on the house. Dinner was excellent. What a great end to the day!! We highly recommend...

Great birthday dinner with superb staff. Great flavorful steaks and sides that are made for sharing. Romantic atmosphere. Carrot cake is delicious but you will have a hard time choosing.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Celebrated our daughters graduation here and really enjoyed the time in this restaurant!

Fish dishes were good. Pricey. Some appetizers were $20.00 so got to a $200.00 tab for 2 people easily. Service was great

Ocean Prime is an oasis in the middle of the big city. The Terrace is beautiful and quiet enough to talk with friends, while enjoying a delicious meal. The Peanut Butter and Chocolate cake was incredible.

At least it was convenient across from our hotel so all we had to do was walk across the street. Ocean Prime located in trendy Uptown Dallas location which meant expensive. Other than the $40 tequila I drank times 2 ( Clase Azul) the Bill was reasonable. Here I am in Dallas at a fish place with no Gulf Oysters and surrounded by land where there are no natural fish. Thinking why go to a fish place so I ordered a steak. Average nothing special.

This was a awesome experience. First if you like stake Tartare this is the best I have ever eaten and end your meal with the peanut butter pie.

Went to an early dinner before a Stars Game. Walking distance to the AAC. Great shellfish appetizers-very fresh tasting. Had the Surf and turf special. Both the filet and the scallops were cooked perfectly. Service was also excellent. Great time!

Have had dinner there several times recently and it never disappoints. It's pricey so not a weekly dinner place. Steaks are terrific as are the brussel sprouts and jalepeno potatoes!

Room is corporate style vs family friendly. Staff is top notch and wants you to enjoy your visit. Wine list 8/10 good selection but quite a few not so great wines on the list at high prices. We ordered small dishes. Bread 9/10 served warm King crab 8/10 served warm Baked potato 10/10 Charred veggies 9/10 a bit salty Desserts look great but we didn't try on this visit Will be back

Do not let the white table cloth and valet service deter you from a good lunch experience. The menu is varied and there are excellent non-seafood options, but everything from the ocean is OP’s specialty and does not disappoint.

Planned to have Texas Steak but after reviewing the menu the seafood just jumped ohh the menu! We shared all courses and they were imaginative tasty and quality not quantity! Pricing was OK wine list was extensive and had plenty of choice in local wines by the glass!

Rodney C is a great server. The food is magnificent here, highlighted by a great server and front desk staff. I can't more highly recommend this as a great restaurant. We had sushi, cooked seafood, and steaks. You will not regret this restaurant - including the professional and comfortable atmosphere.

We have dined here several times in the past and just visited with another couple before a play in Dallas. As usual, the food was delicious! The salads, calamari, shrimp cocktail and burrata special were all fabulous appetizers. Our main courses (sea bass, redfish and pork porterhouse) were all well-plated and flavorful. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were quite large. The Berries & Bubbles remains one of my favorite all-time favorite cocktails. One has to love a "smoking" drink! Service, on the other hand, was quite lacking this particular evening. We had issues getting orders taken, getting drink refills, and getting our check. I felt our waiter was very inattentive and we dined very early in the evening when the restaurant was not even crowded. It is disappointing to spend that much money at such a fine dining establishment and to have such poor service. We actually had to send the secondary staff a couple of times to find our waiter since he literally disappeared for long periods of time. Overall, I will dine here again in the future but I will certainly hope for much better and more attentive service the next time. This is a gorgeous restaurant with a great ambiance. It is perfect for a date night or celebratory dinner. I just wish you better service than we had this particular evening.

First time visit, as wife and I celebrated my 70th Birthday. From the moment we entered until the time we left, the staff properly welcomed and thanked us for our visit. Ambiance and atmosphere was great, soft music playing with soft lighting. Not loud or noisy. This was at 6pm before bysy crowd. After we were seated after arrival, we were offered warm bread and butter, warm to where the butter melted on the bread. Anita took care of us for the evening and did an awesome job, very knowledgeable of the menu with suggestions and recommendations. Appetizers were Oysters and Calamari and both were great. Entree was twin lobster tails with asparagus and Chliean Sea Bass and we both shared twice baked bake potatoes. Both entrees cooked and seasoned to perfection with compliments to the chef and to James that checked if all was to our satisfaction. Which it was. Please ask for Anita on your visit for A1 service Reservations and Valet Parking definitely recommended. You will not be disappointed on your visit to Ocean Prime.

Both the Patio and inside bar are a great meeting place for friends or business meetings. The food and service is as expected, very good.

Good choice for a Restaurant Week visit. Nice atmosphere, great service and good food. Nothing outstanding, but high marks all around.

We went to Dallas for three days and had time to repeat at the Ocean Prime! Good service, all the dishes very tasty and a wonderful environment that makes the stay really nice.

We expected a delicious meal and Ocean Prime delivered The smoking martinis in the bar got us started off. They were well made and fun I had the halibut special which was slightly overcooked. But the juice it was served in made it special We also has the sea bass. A large piece nicely presented Service was friendly and efficient. The server was very helpful picking out the wine to pair with our food

Had many a great meals at OP across the country. First time for Dallas restaurant and it did not disappoint. Wedge salad for a start was delicious. My main Tuna with a avocado mango salsa was also very tasty.

Service is friendly and competent, even when you arrive close to closing. Wait staff make great recommendations. Try their Black Orchid Martini for a real treat.

My friend took me here for dinner. There was live music in the lounge area, the steak and twice baked potatoes were amazing, the asparagus and hollandaise sauce left us speechless and to top it off, she got them to surprise me with this cake!!! I love this place and will always patronize because of the great food, service and atmosphere!

My husband and I celebrated our 2 Anniversary at Ocean Prime in Dallas. It was amazing. Rose petals on our table were a nice touch. We started with wine and a seafood tower. Presentation was video worthy. Steak and Shrimp were very good. They topped off the evening with a free desert for our celebration. Highly recommended!!

Went for drinks and ended up having dinner! My wife loves this place and the kids love the fish. Will come back

Service was professional and expedient. The absolute best calamari we have ever had. Salmon was delicious as was the sea bass. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation with very good acoustics. Always appreciated during a business lunch! Overall, a great find in a city with so many choices.

I used to work at the OP in Denver (Larimer Square) and was excited to visit the Dallas location. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I sat at the bar and ordered my old favorite dishes, the shrimp sauté and the 8 oz filet with Maytag Bleu Cheese crust. The bartender insisted that I have a side with my meal and brought me out jalapeño cheddar scallop potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and was very consistent with how things were in Denver. The only thing missing was a piano player in the lounge, which they have in Denver. Otherwise, my visit was fantastic!

Great service, early dinner at 5pm on 12/18 before concert and not many people at beginning but started to fill up. Sea bass was very good. My wife said scallops with risotto was great. Enjoyed the lobster bisque and oysters on half shell. Crem brûlée was a deep dish version and enough for two to share Nice experience nothing negative.

I came for a couples date everything was wonderful. Food was great and the service was excellent! Valet men are very nice and courteous. It's definitely a 5 star restaurant, the decor is lovely . I had a wonderful experience here I will definitely visit Ocean prime again.

I feel like I give nothing but positive reviews....but I guess I'm fortunate to visit some great places. Anywho....this by far was the best Chilean sea bass I have ever eaten. The staff was so professional and attentive. It's a little pricey but if you like you food with a little dazzle....this is the place. They use dry ice to make smoking beverages and appetizers. I didn't take a photo of everything but if you're in Dallas and want a food meal check Ocean Prime out.

Ate here and was impressed by the good attentive service. The restaurant was brimming with staff and you never had to wait to get a staff members attention. From the first greeting at the front door we were well taken care of. The food was good, not award winning but well prepared and tasted good. Great atmosphere and energy!

My Fiancee and I went here to celebrate our engagement and we were extremely impressed! First of all, the atmosphere was very nice but also relaxing. They treated us to complimentary champagne for our celebration. Thought that was a nice touch. We had oysters on the half shell for appetizer and they were second to none. We ordered the filets and they were truly the best we have ever had! Sides were yummy and the service was amazing. Can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

Looked up top steakhouses Dallas and ocean prime rivaled too steakhouse even though has great seafood. Servers professional how cool is that in today's society. Knew when to talk and when to leave diner alone. Drinks perfectly made, bone in filet cooked perfectly medium rare I mean perfect. Oysters to start were juicy, briny and clean. Lobster tail with steak fresh, and they gave me half portions of jalapeno augratin potatoes to make any Texan proud. Also have a tasty French onion soup with aged cheddar and plenty of said cheddar. Professional servers, great chef, great after dinner wines and carrot cake yum!

Separate bar room with live music and crowded bar on a Wednesday. Bar was crowded so not as attentive service there for me (hard to get billed paid) and guy next to me wasn't getting served and complained. That is the only issue I saw. Otherwise, very good/fresh food, great service in dining room, well appointed looking restaurant, valet service for cars or park in garage 2 doors down and get ticket stamped for free parking. Food was great and would go back. Expansive wine list. Would go back and recommend for entertaining clients and special occasions. Expensive.

Tonight my husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary at Ocean Prime in Naples FL. Our server, Ioana, was superb! The food was excellent and really well prepared. The ambiance was perfect We had a wonderful time. Thank you to all at Ocean Prime for helping make this anniversary so special.

I have eaten here several times and every time the food has been fresh and delicious. The meals range from 20-50$. Wine list is a little pricy but good choices. On Wed. night they have discounted bottles of wine so you can get a nice wine for half the price. My last visit I had the cold lobster and shrimp. Very fresh. My friend had a tender 8 oz filet and ate every oz. Their fries are top on my list in Dallas. Service is excellent.

First, I want to compliment the service. I cannot say enough about how attentive, but un-intrusive the team was at Ocean Prime. Our server gave quality recommendations, but wasn't too pushy. He also gave an honest opinion which I very much appreciate. Overall, I would recommend Ocean Prime to anyone looking for nice meal. My wife and I both started with the lobster bisque which was rich and delicious. For entrees, she had the redfish and I went with the pork chop. The red fish was equisite, but the pork chop fell short of my expectations. Thus, I would recommend sticking to the fish as I think that is where Ocean Prime stands out. Furthermore, we had outstanding desserts. OP is known for its carrot cake and it most certainly did not disappoint. However, I think the chocolate peanut butter dessert stood out. It was like a Tagalong girlscout cookie, but way larger and way better. For cocktails, I recommend the Margarita which was unique and delicious. I'm giving it four stars because of a slightly disappointing pork chop. However, order fish and I think it's a five star experience. Do know that it's an expensive place, so don't go there if you are on a budget.

Ocean’s Prime has an amazing menu! I love the Tuna Tar Tar! It’s to die for! On Sunday, Ocean’s Prime has a special Surf and Turf Sunday menu for $55. You choose from French onion soup or a caesar or house salad. Then an 8 oz filet and a choice of shrimp scampi, a crab cake or sea scallops - yum! And add a choice of vegetable! Yum Yum at an amazing price! I wish I lived closer to go every Sunday!!

We’ve been coming downtown trying new places and this was another one we had not been to. It’s been here awhile but we had not gotten around to trying it. It was not crowed at all for a Saturday as we choose to set in the bar. Real good food and very good service.

I'm not sure how this restaurant can be rated 3$ because it is more expensive than that. Everything is a la carte, entrees run $30-$50. Food was very good, lobster bisque was excellent. I opted for just a salad and bisque. I was tempted to order a main but for $45 for scallops and $33 for grilled 'red fish' I just couldn't justify that - even on an expense account. The menu did have an extensive selection of non-seafood/fish items as well. Although it was too warm outside to try it, they have an excellent outdoor seating and bar area. There are two indoor dining areas, a bar that was huge, and a standard but well-appointed dining room. I'll go back and try it again, especially to sit outdoors.

Last minute dinner without reservation. We ate at the outside bar area. It was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy the view of Dallas. The service was great as was the food.

I've eaten at Ocean Prime all over the country and it has been consistently excellent until now. I sat in the bar for an early dinner on a Friday night. Service very below par. Ordered the scallop risotto - tasteless and bland. I was so upset I would have sent it back but my server never came by again until well after I was finished. For $55 a plate, that was unacceptable.

Well located, well decorated, very nice atmosphere and stunning service levels (Jeffrey). We drank an American bubbly to celebrate. The signature BM was also excellent. To eat really good was crab & eggs. The ladies had house salad with chicken and the crab wedge. Very good experience for Sunday lunch. valet parking made life easy.

Highly recommend the chopped salad , jalapeño Au gratin potatoes and peanut butter dessert covered in chocolate ganache. Lovely service by Corey and Victor. Attentive and personable but not too much. Beautiful interior.

Although the food is a bit on the salty & heavy side for me, it is totally worth the experience with a few good friends. Love the sea bass and crab cakes. Fried calamari is a must try item. Ask your server to recommend a couple of side dishes then enjoy the little surprises.

The atmosphere is really good, very nice decor and excellent service. The food was good though not excellent, the steak was the best dish of the meal, the sashimi was really nothing special 4 tiny pieces of so-so quality fish.

I went for dinner with a group of about 30. We had booked a private room in advance. I had a red fish entrée that was excellent while several at my table had 10oz beef filets that they described as fantastic. Service was a bit slow. After all they should be able to handle groups of our size with no problem. The worst offense was the side dishes came out just as everyone was finishing their entrees. Very poor timing. By then everyone was ready to move on to dessert and the sides just went to waste.

It was very easy making a reservation through Open Table app. We love going here for the food and atmosphere. Excellent service, cocktails, and food selection. We recommend seafood. This is our number 1 favorite place in all of Dallas.

The place is beautiful, great up-scale atmosphere. The two times that i have been there the servers seemed to not come back without me having eye contact with them. Tyler the 1st.time i was there didn't come back until we realized none of the men that had come to check on us was not our beginning server. Mark, the second time we had gone was not in a timely manner. We had to ask for bread from another server. The red snapper, cheddar, coleslaw, corn and relish sandwich was terrible. None of that taste good together, and i love love fish but not good all mixed like that. Food could be improved. The best thing was the bread and blueberry lemon cheese cake.

Unable to book a table at another restaurant, my husband and I decided to give Ocean Prime a try and we were so happy we did! Our server, Matt, delivered perfectly personal service from arrival and drink orders, through the end of our meal when his section was definitely more packed than it was when we arrived. To begin, drinks. I had the famous berry bubbly cocktail and my husband had a perfectly mixed martini. If you are a fan of sweet cocktails, you must try the signature bubbly cocktail, it was fun and delicious. We ordered a half dozen oysters on the half shelf to go with drinks. They were very fresh and barely briny. Just the right blend of creamy and salty. Warning our server of a food allergy that my husband has to be careful to address, he personalized our order in every way possible down to making recommendations from both on and off them menu to make our meal special and exactly how we wanted. We decided to order the Sea Bass and the Scallops, both very popular dishes. He clued in on the fact that we would be sharing and generously prepared our plates with partial servings of each dish, his completely free of the allergen. It was so personal and special, we felt like we were being served from home! Matt spent time getting to know exactly what my husband's preferences would be to replace anything that would cause him harm. His service really did make the evening a unique dining experience. You would expect the price point for such excellent care and attention to be sky high, but we were pleasantly surprised at no upcharges for any of our special requests. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend this experience.

I'd dined at Ocean Prime in Tampa and always had a good experience, so on a recent trip to DFW we tried this location. I must say it was superb in nearly everyway. Beautiful décor, with multiple private dining rooms, plus excellent wait staff and food. Everything about it was excellent and we'll be sure to dine here again in the future. Cheers!

My wife and I had a date night dinner and a play at the Music Hall. For a place of this caliber the service was a bit rough at the beginning, however the food was top quality and the overall experience was great. I had the blackened redfish and having recently had the same dish in Cajun country had high expectations. Ocean Prime exceeded them!

This was the last day of our summit and my newly found friend, and I was looking for a fish place, and the search brought up Ocean Prime. It's one of my favorite restaurants, but first to this Dallas location and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service was Impeccable, and the food was delightful. We got there about 7:45 on a Sunday night, the crowd was light. We walked in without reservations and was told we could pick where we wanted to sit; the bar, patio or main dining area, the host gave us a tour of each area. We settled for the bar because there was more going on. As we sat down, we got truffle popcorn, and it was delicious. We order soup, several appetizers, sushi and dessert Ocean Prime is fine dining at it best.

I hit the bar for dinner solo. The place was excellent. The oysters and crab cocktail amazing. I was streaked out so I went for a sushi roll and the Dragon was what I hoped it would be. I highly recommend this restaurant but reservations needed if you want to dine.

Two of us visited Ocean Prime last night. Our experience was a mixed bag... on the upside, the food was delicious and the dining room very comfortable. Unfortunately, the prices are over the top and the service was poor (especially considering the price point).

We made reservations on New Year’s Eve for an early dinner prior to the symphony. Everything was delightful. Welcoming and gracious service. Lovely presentation of drinks and entrees. Food was delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience in downtown Dallas.

We where looking for a new Dallas dining expierence and had not tried Ocen Prime. We regret not trying sooner. Very nice decor and spacious indoor and outdoor patios bars with TVs. The inside spots very nicely appointed and up scale. The food was superb. The lobster bisque is amazing as was the tuna tar tar. We had scallops and red fish with risotto both excellent. Our waiter was great very friendly and knowledgeable. Great spot will certainly go back!
What a Treat!
We went there to celebrate a birthday. It was a lovely evening. It was a Wednesday so wines under $100 wwee half off. We ended up having a meal of appetizers. We split several items. The surf and turf was amazing. Seared scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy with huge chunks of lobster in it. The shrimp cocktail was delicious. These are not your run-of-the-mill farmed shrimp from Indonesia. The Truffle deviled eggs were good, but I probably wouldn't order them again. The service was excellent and the creme brulee was worth every calorie. This is an excellent restaurant for a special occasion or a business meeting.
