It wasn't the best drinking experience, but the beer was pretty good. Their food selection was okay, but not great. While we enjoyed our beer, the sound level in the establishment really hurt our ears. This is not a place for intimate conversation.

Not that the beer (actually I had and IPA) is bad, it is better than average go good. I'd been walking all day and went in. Only two or three others in there in mid afternoon (other places I've been in at this time of day had good crowds). I don't know if the bartender was talking to a friend or potential employee, but it took several minutes for them to finish and him to take my order. Never asked if I wanted a second glass so I left.

Absolutely love this place! Couldn't recommend it more. We loved it so much we had to go back a second time! Great services, views, atmosphere, draft beer and food! Recommend the fish & chips and buffalo chicken pizza - huge portions we had to share. Only downfall was their Seltzer on tap was VERY blah and tasteless.

We stopped in while walking around Seattle on a Thursday afternoon and found the place to have very helpful bartenders and some pretty tasty beer. We had a couple of food items and thought the Grilled Cheese and Mushroom sandwich was okay, but the thing on the menu we were surprised about was the "Potato Chips". These are listed just as that, then they hand you a $0.25 bag of potato chips, while charging $2.00. I know some of the people around us were a bit surprised, but sitting at the bar we had seen this happen so knew to avoid that item on the menu. All in all, a good stop for us while exploring the city.

Craft beer is a very personal taste so I hesitate to give it an average rating, but we tried 9 different beers and only liked one. Great location to people watch and the place was packed so maybe it was just us? Husband drinks alot of craft beer at home, so I trusted his opinion and he gave it a B minus or C+ on the beer, but the service was friendly and smiling servers.

Awesome beer selection in a wonderful downtown setting. The brewery is part of Pike Place Market. Floor to ceiling windows look out onto 1st avenue; in summer the windows open completely to create that inside-outside effect. I've been here a few times, the most common reason I've had for going there has been for an after-work Happy Hour. The atmosphere has always been great, with the right mix of background buzz.

Came here for a brew. Beer was good, not the greatest I've ever had. I actually enjoyed Pike's beer better. Staff who poured our beer was kind of cold, but I guess we all have off days. My glass sat empty for far to long when done, second staff member who was much more pleasant asked if I wanted a refill but I was already looking for the bill. Go ahead, drop by and have a brew...

Loved Streaker Citra ale and their IPA flight menu. They have a good selection of food menu as well.

After a 6 hour tour and several hours on our own, this was a great place to put up our feet. We had 2 of their Ales, Incommudicado and Wyona Big Brown, both very tasty. They serve $2 4 oz servings for those who don't want much or like to try different beers. Also had a Beechers Foraged Mushroom and Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque which was very good. The place is informal, order at the bar, with indoor and outdoor seating. Running inside was a TV with old back and white beer commercials. Amusing and fun!

Sat at the bar where friendly staff gave solid recommendations. Enjoyed a couple craft beers and a soft pretzel while looking out over Puget Sound. Happy that March Madness was on tv above the bar so we could keep up on the brackets. Spent some time reading a great collection of old time metal beer advertising signs.

In the Pike Place Market, this nice brewery has very good beers and appetizers. I recommend for an after-work.

We loved it here! Service was awesome and drinks were refreshing! Fish and chips were yummy, pizza was delicious, and the hummus was amazing! Go!!!!!

There are many places to eat at Pike Place Market. Old Stove Brewing was new to me in the new market addition. It was a beautiful day and we were eager for a full view of Elliott Bay, we we opted for lunch at Old Stove. Great menu full of craft brews and favorites. Our lunches were fresh and bright -- well prepared. Service was excellent. The seating and view is unsurpassed. Recommended!

Stopped in for a beer. Great selection of craft beers and the staff really guides you to match your beer preference. We split a pizza and it was filling but didn't feel stuffed after. The views are stunning. My daughter and friends will be in Seattle and we already said "You need to stop by" a definite stop on our next trip.

Old Stove Brewing is tucked in behind Pike Place Market. It's a great place to escape from the business of the market and relax for a bit. The views of the water are impressive. You have options to sit outside and soak in the sunshine while you enjoy your beverage. There are lots of beers to choose from and one could spend many hours here trying them all out. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose! The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Amazing choice of beers you can order some to sample - genius. It was busy and I got the feeling limited staff however they worked really hard - in particular our server Jordan. Really juicy burger with an incredible bun. Beer was excellent. Pricing fair

Fabulous service and food was fantastic. We sat by the kitchen and saw all dishes expedited to tables, fresh, ample and beautifully presented!! The vibe in restaurant is buzzing! Seating was fast and nice variety of tables in and outside.

We stopped here after dropping our bags at the condo. While we didn't have a meal, we had some snacks and a couple of beers. Good craft beer

Located right at Pike Place, the brewery is large and busy. We ordered a flight and were surprised at how good all of the beers were. In a place this busy with a popular location, Old Stove still produced tasty and interesting beers. We had no problem finding a table. Service was good. Great view of the water.

They just opened a store right by on the bay of the ground level of Pike market and it's great! Has a tun of tables and the windows are floor to ceiling doors which open. It was agreat day we got a table by the window and it was gorgeous. Great place to sit and enjoy a flight of beers while exploring the market!

My wife and I stopped here for a beer and appetizers and loved the atmosphere. Service and food were great! Also, terrific view of the Puget Sound and located close to Pike's Place Market. A must place to hang out for a brew.

We went to Old Stove Brewing yesterday as the weather was so gorgeous we wanted somewhere to sit out and have a drink, We found this on google maps and said we would check it out. It’s a really cool concept in a very nice location. We opted for the “Light tasting” option for the drinks. We shared this between the two of us and then choose which one we wanted and liked the best. This was a fun way to try out their drinks. They have other tasting options available aswell. We both then picked a beer each and ordered that with our food. We had the Caesar salad and the beef brisket sandwich with a side of everything garlic fries. We then washed that down with the giant chocolate chip cookie! All the food was delicious, especially the garlic fries! The weather was amazing so we sat outside. The place was packed and the atmosphere was great. There is also ample seating inside of the weather isn’t great and inside is also very cool, they have the brewing tanks for the beer! So glad we decided to check this place out!

Upon entering the restaurant/brewery there was no employee available to explain that if we sat on one side of the restaurant we would get full service, but if we sat on the other side it was practically serve yourself. We sat on the wrong side. We had to go to the bar to order and the bar staff wasn't very helpful. I ordered the $21 fish and chips and was told I would receive 3 good sized pieces of fish. My husband and brother ordered burgers that were only half the cost and received nice sized burgers with twice the amount of fries I received with my 2.5 small pieces of fish. The fish was no better than what I would have received from any restaurant at home (midwest) where fresh fish isn't available and cost twice the price. The beer was marginal and once again the bar staff was extremely useless.

Nice place to enjoy some fine beer and food. Great set up with a view. Nice to see the working brewery in action with the Chief Brewer hard at work.

Great place on the water to enjoy food & beverages. Loved the beer flights! Service & food was good. We went our 1st night for just beer flight & last night of our trip for food & drinks. Casual dining. We shared a table with 2 girls from Germany. People were friendly.

We came here on a recommendation and we were very disappointed. The restaurant was on a wait. Tried to order a beer at the bar but they told me my tab had to be assigned to a table. Got our table pretty quickly. Before we could order we had to give them a CC. Ordered Chowder not bad but expensive. Asked for salt and pepper. It took forever and it came in two cups from the kitchen. Ordered a pizza. Asked for Parmesan and Red Pepper. We ate half of the pizza before we got it. Ordered wings, asked for a side of ranch. Took forever. Don’t waste the money there are a lot better places.

Yep, I agree, Old Stove has a great location with a great view. BUT, the staff just have no clue how to handle the crowds when it gets busy (which is most of the time due to the location and view). THE LINES ARE LONG AND SLOW!!! Food is slow, and quite frankly is just pub food, nothing particularly special. Go for a beer and not the food. Some staff appear to be very busy, but many staff are obviously lazy. We’ve tried this place several times over the last year and it never gets any better.

wow, my Old Stove Brewing makes my favorite burgers and fries in Seattle. Oh yeah, they also have great beer.

The food was so good! Pizza-delicious. Salad-fresh. Fish n chips- good. Service was also very good. However, we paid with cash and they offered no change. I didn’t expect any since I do tip, but they never offered. Good thing I didn’t give her a 100 dollar bill. We also bought a shirt with cash, and they gave us no change. Don’t usually tip for retail purchase, this was not ok with me. So, have exact cash or you will pay more than you want to.

After a full day of walking and shopping, stopped on the way back to the hotel for a few. Nice selection, decent price, and a cool outdoor seating area. Located about a block up from the market, worth the stop.

In Seattle on business! Came in with a co worker who had a tray of different beers!!! I am not a beer drinker & can never find a beer I like!!! Our bartender Nate thoooo!!! Did just that!!! I had tried one of the beers on the tray called “mocha porter” and then Nate told me to try their black berry sour!! And I loved it!!! I had it with my shrimp cocktail which was great!!! They make their own specialized sauce!! And their own beers!!! I wish I can have that beer back in Jersey! But they are the only ones who make it!!! THANKS NATE FOR FINDING MY FIRST BEER THAT I LOVE!!! Make sure to go to this spot!!! I highly recommend it! From the beer to the food to the service!!!

Old Stove is right behind Pike Place Market. They have indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of seating. Don’t despair if you don’t see a seat upon entry look for community style tables and join a visiting neighbor. If you can’t find. Seat you can go order at the bar. The view is great as you can drink and eat while looking at Puget Sound. They have a large selection of home made brews. They don’t offer outside brews. I don’t remember seeing any kids in the establishment so if you have your family please check in advance of its kid friendly.

Ok, I am not saying I am hard to impress when it comes to breweries, but it’s pretty hard to crack the “Top Five” when you have been to as many as I have. Then I find out the owner is from Vicksburg MI. The combo of great beer and crazy good food sets this place apart. Started off with Bacon Clam Chowder, then did the chicken meatball app with Parmesan, goat cheese and mozzarella. Had their Old Stove Burger for dessert. Great IPAs and a terrific porter to finish. Or maybe I will have another..... Did I mention the place overlooks Puget Sound? Thanks for the guidance at the bar Rita and Nate! #itsonly730pmhere #threehoursbehind #lookslikeiambuyinganothertshirt #top5

I was half expecting this to be a tourist trap given the location but the beer and especially the food were legit. Great selection of beers including some nice hazy IPA’s - Food was very good as well with the mussels and clams being my favorite.

The area around this place is crazy packed with people. It was like an oasis. Duck in and people watch. Had a flight of beer and some food both were very good. Nice place to sit and take in the people traffic. Seattle downtown is something you need to experience.
