We arrived and were offered a glass of wine on the house as we waited to be seated (we had a soda instead but loved the fact that they offered). Our Server, James was amazing. Very friendly and attentive and yes, the food was amazing. We went there after having left Maggiano's because of poor service.

We try to eat at this location and often find the wait time too long. So we go at off hours and we always understand why they are so busy. Free parking ample. Menu varied with an emphasis on pasta dishes. Unlimited soups, salad and bread sticks are a great value with great and different soups, crisp cold fresh salad and warm bread. I had the sirloin and Alfredo with the salad and was delighted. Most important, the service, Jasmine, was friendly, gracious and professional. No requests was considered a trouble or a problem Oh, check the awesome desserts.

Excellent food and the service was outstanding. It was very close to our hotel. We had enough leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day in our hotel room.

We were staying next door at the Crown Plaza and hoped in for a quick dinner. The servicer was one of the best I have ever had and made out dinner very nice.

We really enjoyed the shrimp scampi, it was so delicious and great service to, Thanks

A great time to go out to dinner is definitely on weekdays. The restaurants are clean, less noisy and the waiters are more attentive. The restroom was cleaned and staff were friendly, I enjoyed my weekday outing.

I went here for lunch. The waitress was super nice. I had the soup, salad, and breadsticks. All were quite good and it was fast. A nice stop.

My mom and a few of our family members dined in at Olive Garden and everything was ok until The waitress didn't bring back my moms change. We waited patiently for her but she did not come back to out table. My mom saw her and stopped her. She asked her for her change and Paty said oh! She came back with my moms money and kinda threw it down while saying that she thought that it was her tip but she see's that my mom needs it more than she does. I was appalled to hear a waitress say such things. My mom got upset and told her that she should bring back the change and she would be tipped on what she deserves. My mom still left her a tip. It wasn't what she was gonna leave, but she is better than me because after Paty said that, she wouldn't have gotten a red cent from me. On our way out we told the manager about the incident. I don't know if he discipled Paty, but I do know that if I ever go to that Olive garden again, I surely wont have Paty as a waitress.

Olive Garden food and service is excellent. I have only ever had 1 bad experience, but that did not jade me. The friendly staff and generous portions of tasty fresh food keeps me coming back.

Recently we stayed at the Crown Plaza Houston Suites for 4 different nights. Usually we ate at the in house restaurant, however one evening we decided to have an Italian meal at the Olive Garden Italian Kitchen which was close by. It did not disappoint us, the meals were lovely, drink prices reasonable and the frozen margarita was to die for. We both had pasta dishes - this was the reason we chose to eat at this restaurant - we would certainly recommend it to our friends.

This is a typical chain, but the service was very good, the service was excellent and the food seemed a cut above what you would expect. certainly worth the stop, and convenient for some local lodgings as well

Had a great experience. We were seated quickly and our waiter Devaughnte did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and made sure we were having a good time. The salad and breadsticks are always good. I ordered the Meatball Pizza Bowl and it was a good choice. It tasted great and was very filling. For the price and customer service I received here I definitely would return.

For lunch we would expect to get in and out without issue. Meal started out with good soup and bread and some wine, but after 20 minutes later no food nor waiter appeared. We queried the on table electronic menu and hit the "get waiter" button ...nobody came so I went to the hostess station and told them that no waiter and no food in 20 minutes. I sat and a manager showed up...Arrogant but using the so sorry, I appologize...but with what? She offered another glass of wine...at cost..HA! I asked her if there was some comp for our trouble waiting ...she was clueless and got snippy about just sorry for inconvenience and blah...blah...Refused to comp with anything...dessert, wine, etc...finally the food came via our absentee waiter with more apologies and excuses..."that's because"...Food wasn't that good and we paid using the e-temrinal and left. This is first time I have not left a tip! I was just disgusted that they could treat a customer with disregard and no respect. I won't be back there. The OG in Katy off Greens Rd and I-10 is completely different...we will go back there.

For Italian food, this chain is excellent. They offer a great variety of choices, from standard pasta dishes to seafood to combination plates. Although the girl at the front door wasn't at all communicative, once seated the staff was wonderful. One of my favorite places to eat.

Food was good, but they messed up our order both times we ordered food.

From the starter to the main, the food was at a high standard and the taste was exceptional. The staff were friendly and exceptional. The proportions were equally great and I had to take a goody bag back to our hotel as I was stuffed after my starter. I can't praise the restaurant enough. Will definitely recommend the restaurant to friends and visit again when next in Houston. My drink was made with love and tasted lovely.

Having visited many Italian restaurants throughout Houston and Italy, I heartily recommend the Olive Garden for excellent pasta dishes. Having your choice served with a large salad along with excellent bread rolls puts it above the rest. Don't be put off by the fact that it is a chain. They also have a very nice selection of jazz music being played in the background.

When I took a business trip to Houston, Texas, this Olive Garden was within walking distance to the hotel at which I was staying and I decided to eat here twice during the week stay. Both dinners were great. There can be stress involved in traveling for business, but my dinners at Olive Garden were relaxing. I found that this restaurant had clean bathrooms, a great atmosphere, and wonderful food. Whether you live in Houston, or are traveling, eating at this restaurant will be a great choice!

Went tonight and split chicken Parmesan with salad… The chicken was very moist and tender.... Service was fair… They never refilled our water… Or offered us dessert

While my family and I were visiting, we did have a pleasant time with our server and the food was par (love their bread and zuppa toscana) however, once we were done with our meal and proceeded to leave, I'd accidentally left my phone on the table (distinctively recalled where it was left) remind you, there were literally NO customers in OR remotely near our entire seated section on this slow weekday. I'd gone back into the restaurant to grab it and it was gone! I spoke with the manager who seemed nonchalant and naïve and said that there were no cameras to check and that he would be willing to take down my phone number in case one of his "angelic" employees came across it. He'd asked them all and no one came clean. My fiance even translated the Spanish a couple of the employees were relaying to eachother under their breaths by the kitchen, "bro, were going to have to get it out of here before they search us." I couldn't help but stick around the restaurant in my car to think of what to do. So, my geniusness kicks in and remember that I can track it! Sure enough, I trace my gmail back to the restaurant were finally one of the guys says, "oh, my trainee found a phone, but I put it in my car in case the person showed up for it" in front of the careless manager, who says, "oh, smart thinking" and smiles as he walks away! That was, btw, the THIRD time I'd gone in there to ask about my phone! I'll never everrrr go back to that location. It was too shady of an operation as a top chain restaurant to imagine this happening.

The Best there is gets me ready for evening walk shower then bed. Really among the finest in Texas anywhere really great people

The food in this place was very delicious and diverse and the waiters were very polite and friendly.

The food was hot and good but we ate on appetizers the entire time being there. I believe the waitress was new because she was offering my coworker free soup because she wanted to "taste test". We didn't get our food until we had to leave within that hour we were there. Other than that, the food was good.

Service was fast and great. Would eat here again. There was no waiting and my food arrived hot and fresh.

I don't normally eat at chain restaurants when I travel, preferring trying local spots. But after a long day of travel & not many choices, I stopped by here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The salad was plentiful, very fresh and great tasting. I had spaghetti and have to say it rivaled the best I have ever had. Service was a little slow as far as ordering & drink refills, but once ordered the food came quickly. I would return without hesitation.

I stayed the hotel next door and my parents love the Olive Garden, it was a bonus to have one within walking distance! The food was really good! And the service was okay. They didn't seem all that busy but our food took 35 minutes to arrive at the table. My ailing mother needed to use the rest room, so I accompanied her. While waiting for her in the restroom one of the servers used the facilities as well. While in there another employee opened the restroom door and yelled for her to come out (very unprofessional). She flushed, came out, and promptly left the rest room WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS! GROSS! I checked the signage and one does say EMPLOYEES MUST WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK! This left us feeling pretty grossed out. The slow meal we could have overlooked, but the toilet hands we can not! We won't be returning to this Olive Garden. Such a shame!

6 friends stopped here for dinner prior to a nearby show. Not a place that I have typically frequented but the food was good, the service was very good, the atmosphere was nice and the location was perfect.

There was nothing to dislike and everything to love! From the food to the service, this restaurant is tops! We were in Houston 5 days, we ate there 3 times in a row.

Food was good. Service was substandard. Waitress was very slow, & rarely came to check on us. Also forgot several items we asked for.

The food is consistent in all Olive Garden great service and nice employees, the Toscana soup is fantastic and the Braised Beef tortellini is great fully recommended

We went for lunch all you can eat soup and salad, good variety of soup tried 2 and both were fantastic, good service, quality food

I ordered online and picked up breadsticks and salad in my car. The process and easy and they times it well. They are good at breadsticks that’s for sure.

Meals were big portions and with a considerable selection. Advertising on TV got me there, but unfortunately wasn't what we believed would be presented (buffet). Very popular and service was exceptional all in alll nice experience.

I always tell franchises consistency is key went back to Houston and was glad to see similar staff and wanted everyone to know great food.

Went here with a large rowdy group. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was very good. The service here was fast and friendly, even with our loud unruly group.

No matter which Olive Garden I have been to, it's always been predictably good. Love this location and have been there several times. Food is good and the staff is excellent.

Have visited all olive gardens. Staff and service great on all occasions. Food excellent would certainly recommend this place as menu varied to suit all needs

My family and I are frequents visitors at this location. We found our server Dalia the best. Anytime we come for lunch or dinner we always make sure she is working. Her kindness and professionalism makes our visits always memorable and just perfect. She is always there when we need something , we don't even have to ask anything she is just very detail oriented and caring. She is a great value of this location.

Loved the food and the managers make sure the service is great for their customers. Thumbs Up for Olive Garden no matter the city I visit in the USA.

Our server was very friendly and accommodating, food was good, even though we arrived at 9:45 when they close at 10:00. Very convenient to the Crowne Plaza Hotel next door where we stayed.

Enjoying the warm weather and a concert, we went to Olive Garden for dinner (it was next door to our Hotel). Fantastic food and service!

Soup and breadsticks really filled the craving and a cold beer did wonders for a long day of work. Bartender was very pleasant.

Loved the soup and salad! All the soups are actually good, but the chicken gnocchi and zuppa toscana are our favorites! Bread sticks were dry, even after we asked for fresh ones. The risotto bites were ok. Service was spotty, but friendly.

Food was fresh. Service and Wait staff was amazing. Greeted upon entrance. Waitress offered recommendations

Amazing sphagetting.. Free welcome wine and very good service..You can also play games when you wait for food on their tablet but for some reason they were chargeable.. They didn charge us when we told them we didn know :).. Overall good food and be ready for some waiting at dinner time.

Hadn't eaten at an Olive Garden in 10 years until I ate at this restaurant. Now I know why. It was horrible. Server brought the wrong entree to one of our party. My wife's entree was disappointing and tasteless. My Spaghetti and meatballs had very little sauce. Not worth our time or money. I might try Olive Garden again in another 10 years if I am desperate. This is just lame food.

The staff were wonderful and polite, and the food - especially the Seafood Alfredo - was delicious.

I stopped at this Olive Garden for a quick meal, it was reasonably priced and service was quick. I enjoy their soups, don't know why they don't advertise it's unlimited along with the salad and breadsticks.

We decided last minute to come to Olive Garden, because we were worried about the lunch crowd. And I’m so glad we did. Latresse provided us with excellent service. She was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back.

I was able to walk to it ,so that was a plus. The food was great and the service was excellent!!!! I actually went one night alone and the next day took my family. Both nights the service was just perfect!!! Everyone was so friendly and attentive!

Food was good but it does not compare to authentic Italian food. It's noisy and over-crowded usually.

Both the food and the service were excellent. I heartily recommend this restaurant. Fantastic value for money.

Clean, friendly, happy atmosphere. Prompt, attentive service. The food was fresh and good tasting and plenty of it to eat. Had a great time. Good prices.

We have been to Olive several times, as it is always a good alternative for families. The last time it was not like that. We were served by a waitress named Stephanie, I think she was in too much of a hurry to leave. I understand that in the USA restaurants are fast-paced, but we had not finished sitting down and she asked us what can I get you to drink? Well... first it would be good to read the menu and then we will tell you. We asked her for 5 to 10 minutes to decide and in that time she came over with a sour face 4 times. We asked her for something and we didn't know if she was listening to us, in fact I asked her for the traditional frozen Margarita without salt or sugar and she brought me another regular one with salt. That's where we started off badly. The truth is that I won't stop going, we eat well and the quality and price are reasonable, but I will definitely ask her not to serve us. The photos are from another day where they did bring me the margarita that I expected (and paid for) and they served us well. This last time I didn't feel like taking photos.

We love Olive Garden and the food was indeed consistent which is why we gave it very good score. The service staff at this location were hurried, unkempt and did not seem clean. The staff members who waited on us had long dirty finger nails. I am sure this was not the usual good service quality of Olive Garden we are used to and really reflects back to the management of each location.

The last time I visited this restaurant was 19 years ago. The service and food was poor then and has not changed (I may have seen a couple from 19 years ago still waiting for service, it was hard to tell). The staff did not seem happy to be there, I got the feeling they did not want to bother waiting on us. The food once it came was salty but otherwise bland. I had the the lasagna and my daughter had the spaghetti. The bread sticks were fresh but again to salty. Each table has a touch screen for orders, paying, and entertainment. It charges $2.00 for entertainment and I noticed that I was charged even though all I did was move it out of the way. With the poor customer service I could not find anyone to help remove it so I deducted $2.00 from an already small tip.

This place is not new to me, I visit this restaurant for the green salad and the house red wine, I always select grilled salmon and the dessert is additional to my dinner, light dinner and really satisfying.

Great service, yum food and nice ambience. Near outskirts of the city. A must try for any residents in Crowne Plaza looking for good food around

Very busy restaurant serving excellent Italian food, if traveling alone you can eat at the bar if you want romance have a table in the restaurant. If you can't find the food you want on the menu then its not Italy.

What do you expect from an Olive Garden? Good food, good service, medium price. So, no disappointments here.

Always friendly, put order in online several times and always ready and hot good food! They honor coupons with no problems which is always a good thing!

Olive garden is always a go too place for my bb-day , we always get good food and service just the wait is long.......

This is the restaurant near to my office. Many of the times we have our office lunches in Olive Garden. It never disappoints. Parmesan Zucchini Bites in antipasti is my favourite. Minestrone soup is always made to the perfection. Cheese ravioli are real cheesy. Ravioli di Portobello is another dish that I always like to try here. Overall considering the value it provides, it is one of my favourite luncheon places.

Everything exquisite. Great service, sublime. In Mexico I have gone to olive and it doesn't taste as good as that night in Houston. The delicious red wine,

I have not been to Olive Garden in years. However last time I did go it was amazing. This time was awful. We had a 9 party table so we knew it was going to take a bit of time. However we were there for almost 3 hours. We waited about 40 minutes for a table (3pm on a Saturday) and there were empty tables everywhere. We found out that they were short staffed. The servers were great, but the food was awful , bread sticks were hard and the check took 30 minutes to get because there was a “mess up”. Yes we had split tabs, but it was only split in 2.....and we sat with our parties...I will not be back to a OG, especially this one.

I love Olive Garden, the food is always tasty and the portions are more than what I can eat. The quality is fantastic and really worth the money. The pictures just say it all!! Great service too!!

Hated everything about this place...

I always drive pass and wanting to dine in at this convenient location by SW59 West University. A great dine-in experience this afternoon, in a very cozy atmosphere and the background music play on. And we were surprising offered with a free sampling of red wine before ordering our meal. Nice taste of the wine! There is also a limited time offer for a take home dinner entree at $5, great value meal. Friendly efficient services from Josh.

I love going to this restaurant, cause of the food and the service, specially this wonderful and by the way beautiful girl Veronica who now is the bartender of the restaurant, she used to be just a Waitress but now she is the bartender , great person , great personality i love her. These restaurants should have people like her. Manager? great nice person i had the pleasure to meet her very dedicated. I love this restaurant.

Woo Hoo !' I was one of the lucky ones out of 22,000 people to get an Endless Pasta Pass this year. September 25 to November 17- for $100.00 Wow !! Fabulous spaghetti and minestrone soup and all the breadsticks free till November for only one payment of that $100. So far wonderful service at the store at off Hwy 59 and Gessner and in Sugarland. I got my Spaghetti fix!!!

The food was average but not as good as what they used to be or like other locations. The atmosphere was however ruined by a couple of women who lacked any sense of respect for others in public and playing 40min of Baby Shark at full volume that made conversation at our table difficult 25ft away. Waitstaff ignored this as well as the manager when asked if she could say something. She said she would but walked by them without a word. As we left, I briefly spoke with them thanking them for providing a daycare atmosphere for the customers and perhaps considering the volume button in the future. She replied with profanity as I walked away and the manager immediately ran over to them and apologized for me saying anything. So if you plan on spending $70+ on a meal for 3, just be forewarned that there are much nicer places to visit with larger portions and higher quality food for the price. As well as an appropriate setting.

We had the Shrimp Scampi on the lighter menu. It was very tasty with plenty of large, succulent shrimp, but a little light on the vegetables and heavy on the pasta. Mine was with gluten-free pasta at my request which was cooked just right. It's always nice to eat at an Italian restaurant that offers a g/f option. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food come out promptly. The house salad was also good - nice dressing, but heavy on the iceberg lettuce with only a little romaine. We enjoyed our meal and appreciated the efficient service as we only had about an hour before we had to be somewhere else. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised.

I go here now just for the soups & salads. I use to love the pasta, lasagna, and calamari. Now everything seems rubbery and a quick fix. The service is still pretty good but I understand a good meal can't be made in 5 minutes. I believe everything is pre cooked.

First time back at OG in a long time. The menu was all different and hard to read. It was way too busy. But the food was good. We waited quite a while for a server. No one acknowledged our presence until another server asked if we had been helped. We said no and finally a lady came to take our order. She brought our salad and breadsticks but no plates for the bread. So we ate our entire meal putting our bread on our salad bowl or lunch plate. Kind of awkward

The buffet was delicious and very clean. I enjoyed this Olive Garden

I stopped for take out on my way to the hotel. I've done this often on other trips (different cities). When I got to the hotel the salad clam shell container was only half full and it was more onions than lettuce. The lettuce was cut in huge chunks - to big for one bite. It just wasn't appetizing.

frozen food, terrible service...A complete rip off!! overall rating: 2 out of 10 The worst lasagna in america!! food is tasteless The attitude of waiters is real bad!!

It's olive garden... if you like okay Italian, a hell of a lot of bread and salad then this place is for you. My waiter didn't speak english...
This Olive Garden is a good option
I've eaten at the Olive Garden along the southwest freeway (Highway 59) many times. It is still a good Olive Garden, even after many years. It has great staff and typical Olive Garden cuisine. But if you are in the southwest Houston area, it is a great option for lunch or dinner.
