We just stopped for drinks, but food looked good and staff was very friendly and efficient. Has the feeling of an upscale clubroom.

the Happy Hour complementary food. Can get very busy so try to come right before Happy Hour to get a table, 4:30 to 6. Casual menu items as well.

We were staying at the hotel for a Valentine's night, met a family member and went down to the lounge for a drink. We love Oliver's for drinks...and now the secret is out. It is a wonderful lounge with high ceilings and excellent service and drinks. They even have free appetizers I think between 4:30 and 6 but I am not sure on the time. We loved all the fresh vegetables and they did have jalepeno poppers the night we were there, they bring out more things as the evening goes on but we only ate a few. I think the price on the drinks is about average. We didn't order anything to eat but you can also have food here.

This bar has a nice relaxed feel to it - whether you are on vacation or on business it is an ideal place to unwind. Staff are friendly & attentive and there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Would recommend.

We were staying at the Mayflower Park Hotel, so we had lunch and then a late evening snack at Oliver's. It is a beautiful little spot...with floor to ceiling windows on two sides. We loved the food we had!

A great place to go for an early drink. The staff are very friendly and the cocktails are lovely! They also serve a generous portion of peanuts!

Oliver's was in our hotel and we are so glad we did not overlook it. Wonderful cozy, atmosphere, beautiful cocktails, good service and delicious food. We were there for lunch and had a beautiful salad, a burger, and the best grilled cheese with tomato bisque we have ever tasted. Topped our meal off with to die for chocolate lava cake for dessert. Don't miss this gem if you are staying at the Mayflower Park or if you are in the downtown Seattle area.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel and went to Oliver's before and after dinner, and were a bit disappointed. It's a lovely, cozy, little lounge connected to the hotel. I love the tall windows the bring in the afternoon light. The drinks were hyped up in the hotel room so we were excited to try them. They were just okay. A little sugary. We were expecting better quality craft cocktails, but they were so busy during happy hour that it seemed like they were just cranking them out. They would probably benefit from a much shorter, more specialized menu. The server at happy hour was very busy and forgetful, though nice. The free appetizers were a nice touch but probably contributed to the crowd. We returned after dinner (about 11PM) because they were open till 2AM but the one server made it abundantly clear that she wanted us out ASAP. She was rushing around trying to clean everything around us, rushed us into ordering, my husband had tried asking her for suggestions but she didn't offer much, all but threw the drinks down to us, brought the check while we were still chatting and then a few minutes later asked if we were done with it. Mind you, it was 11PM on a slow Friday evening. She was not too busy with other customers. The experience rather soured our opinion of the place. We drank quickly and left. If you're on the hunt for a pleasant lounge with really quality cocktails, they are probably better options in the city.

After searching for awhile for a fun place to drink during happy hour, we wandered into this place. What a fantastic find! Great time at the bar with Robbie! He knows his stuff. Fun to talk to but he can pour a mean beer or make the best darn Dark & Stormy I've ever had!! Happy hour here offers up a few nice nibbles, but it was the scenery & company we loved the most!!

Great Cocktails and reasonably priced, this is compared to other high end bars in Seattle. you will find cheaper places to drink, but you get a fare pour for your dollar here. plus it's very swanky.

A fresh, current spot where one can enjoy what style and ambience were back in yesteryear... lovely selection of beverages and well chosen wines by the glass... Lovely for enjoying a taste of the good old days

After a full day of touring, nothing beats the drinks and ambiance at Oliver's lounge in the Mayflower Park hotel. When we were there, the cozy atmosphere was broken by a patron who enjoyed talking a little too loud. So, we left and headed to the hotels upper lounge where the Oliver's staff was happy to serve us!

My wife & I decided to have lunch at this cozy little café & we both loved it. The restaurant is located on the corner, so the views into town are amazing. We both ordered a club sandwich that we loved very much. The food & service was good making it a very relaxing dining experience. We would definitely return in the future.

The two-story corner lounge sitting by one of it's full-length french windows, Christmas lights on 5-story tree across the street, watching gently falling snow flakes having a chocolate martini after seeing Nutcracker is heavenly.

I loved Oliver’s Bar at the Mayflower Park Hotel. Great cocktails, a pretty good bar food - burgers, fries and so on - presented with a touch of class. Surprisingly, cocktail prices are similar to what is asked at less stylish establishments.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel and ended up having drinks here every night. The mixologists make the best Old Fashions crafted exquistely. We did not have any martini's but we heard they have won awards.

Nice hang out to have drinks ..staff super friendly staff and great bartender ..located within Mayflower hotel we stopped every evening..definitely would go back

Yes, they are known for their martinis and the gin martini did not disappoint. I like that it's on the quiet side here. The bar area itself is nothing too exciting, but table seating options are good. Service was good. I was not impressed with the Caesar salad.

Title says it all. If you are okay with the prices, you will probably enjoy the creative drinks as well. By far, my favorite was the Sazerac cocktail. Delicious combination of flavors.

Oliver's is a great place to stop and relax after a day of exploring the city. The windows provide a great look into what is going on outside and the service inside is great. They have appetizers in the late afternoon which really it the spot. Oliver's is a "must" for us when we are in Seattle.

Always a favorite! The large windows let in so much light, even on a cloudy day. Great martinis and food. You really feel like part of the city when you’re here. Friendly service too.

Went here today to Oliver’s Bar at the Mayflower Park Hotel for some cocktails. Got the "Rain, Rain Go Away" 15.00 Uncle Val's botanical gin, Elderflower liqueur, fresh lime & muddled grapefruit. Paradigm Shift 14.00 Ketel One vodka, Bombay dry gin, Campari, fresh raspberry sour & a squeeze of Texas Ruby red grapefruit. "The theory becomes an Absolute." Silver Belle 15.00 Oliver's award winning cocktail featured at Providence Foundation's O' Christmas Trees Auction. Grey Goose vodka, Elderflower liqueur, lemon & sparkling wine. Good drinks overall!

We stopped by after the Huskies game for a night cap, I really enjoy their martini's the bartenders are creative and the cocktails are delicious. We enjoyed a cheese plate as well, we missed food service by 10mins but they were happy to get us a cheese plate so we really appreciated their efforts.

Beautiful restaurant, with a professional, friendly staff. Perfect martinis, local wines + you must try the panna cotta!

We went here for lunch before leaving on a cruise and had a wonderful experience. We had read that they won the award for Best Martini in the USA (perhaps an exaggeration, but it doesn't matter) and they certainly deserved it. Elegantly served in a beautiful setting, quiet lounge/seating area with lots of daylight with the 2 story high windows cleverly shielded from outside traffic with potted plants. It is part of an historic hotel-The Mayflower, which displays lots of gorgeous period furniture in the lobby. Our martinis were perfect (shaken not stirred)- nice and icey, glasses iced properly and the lemon garnish perfectly cut. Good portion also. Our lunch was to-die-for artichoke and spinach dips, we should have got the recipe. Hope to return again some day as this was a return visit here from 10 years ago on another cruise

Hard to understand how this place got such high ratings for their Happy Hour. The drinks are very high priced with no discount during Happy Hour and the "buffet" of complimentary appetizers consisted of some crudites with dressing and mini-corn dogs. Take a walk down the block in any direction of the surrounding area and find much better deals with equally lovely atmosphere, great service and delicious Happy Hour food and drinks at great discounts. Your resulting bill will be about the same, but the quality and quantity vastly superior.

There is nothing better than a great hotel bar, and this is one of them. Quiet, great cocktails, great service, wonderful snacks and bar food. Love it!

I loved this lounge but not the bartender. Very unfriendly. He is not representative of the other staff I encountered, they were all super!

The tall windows let in lots of natural light but there are other nooks and crannys for those who want a bit of privacy. The food is good but the noise level is a bit high during happy hours, as well it should be. This appears to be a very popular downtown bar, and a real benefit if you happen to be staying in the Mayflower Park hotel.

My husband and I went to Oliver's on our first and last night in Seattle for a nightcap. My husband had their Manhatten both times and thought it was perfect! I had two different gin cocktails....the Aviation and the Downton Abby! We did have the cheese plate one night and it was a good combination of cheeses and fruits. If you are looking for nice evening out with your sweetie and want to get a little dressed up doing it, Oliver's is the place!

Since we missed lunch we wanted an early dinner and were able to eat some great crab cakes here. Quick service too.

I spent a few evenings in Oliver's as it was within my hotel, both on my own talking to the bartender or other guests or with friends for a pre dinner drink. It is friendly, pleasant and traditional, serving beers, cocktails and spirits. An essential visit if staying at the Mayflower, but worth a visit even if you're staying elsewhere.

My wife and I needed to stop, rest and wait for a bit before heading to the ferry. I'm glad we found Oliver's! Comfortable, impeccable service and both classic and modern martinis. All in a beautiful bar with a great downtown view.

Comfortable seating with views of Seattle street scene. Drinks are delicious! Service friendly. Waiter knowledgeble.

The drinks are strong and you get a good pour for the cocktails. The bar menu is extensive enough, and the food quality and portions are hearty. The vibe of the bar is very good, and the location in the heart of Seattle makes this a great place to have a cocktail or two.

Loved the decor and had a great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The wife and I spent the night here 5/31-6/1/16 for a casual coastal getaway. After having seafood appetizers at Pikes Market we came back to the hotel bar for cocktails. Suzanne promptly greeted us with a smile and took our order. The bar quickly started to fill up for their happy hour which included complimentary mini corn dogs and the best hummus we've ever tasted. The Mai Tai was kickass strong and tasty just like it should be and of course I immersed myself in Manny's Pale Ale. Even though she was extremely busy she kept our glasses full like a professional cocktail server should. Her charming personality matched her beautiful blue eyes and bronzed skin. My wife and I felt too underdressed for the dining room so we decided to dine in the bar. After two days of seafood I was ready for a steak and Suzanne recommended the NY strip. To that we added the steamed clams and caeser salad. The clams were amazing. The broth was so good. The demi glace was rich and sticky to the lips like it should be. We finished with the warm lava cake which was superb. After spending hours in the bar we hopped on the bar to enjoy an authentic absinthe. Steve the bartender explained to us the process. He was a pro also but would have loved to see him smile just a bit. Two days later we're back home in Boise and we're still talking about our great meal and experience at Oliver's...well done to all involved. That's how it should be done!

It sure why the raving reviews. I tried four different cocktails and all failed to impress. Cheap ingredients (ketel vodka is gross), unimpressive glassware, cheap polyester uniforms.. the only positive- it’s open until 2am daily. Not coming back.

Firstly, my wife and I have been to Oliver's many times. No matter what, they will always be our favorite spot in Seattle to get a Martini. We visited Seattle this weekend, and of course we had to stop by Oliver's. We were doubly excited because on their FB page, they had advertised a turkey club sammy, on a new gluten free roll. My wife has celiac's, and is extremely allergic to gluten, and was looking forward to ordering something that looked so good. When we got there, our waitress bluntly told us they couldn't make the sandwich, because the fillings did not fit on the new gf bun. We were very disappointed. The waitress didn't even take the time to suggest anything else on the menu that could be done gluten free. It almost pains me to write this review because we have loved them for such a long time. We will still be back, because the ambiance and drinks (and usually the service) are amazing. We just won't plan to eat there. If only they hadn't put up a menu item on social media that they obviously weren't serving in the restaurant, this review would have been 100% positive and my rating would have been excellent.

Oliver's Lounge is the best place for a craft cocktail. They are famous for their martinis. The atmosphere is pleasant and upbeat.

If staying at The Mayflower Park Hotel Oliver's Lounge provides a convenient place to eat. The meals are of good quality and reasonably priced, with an adequate menu.

We sat at the bar and met wonderful people and had great conversations. The bartenders were excellent and we discovered some great new drinks.

Drinks are at market price. Beautiful room on street level. Ornate. Intelligent and effeciant wait staff. Cocktails are no better or worse from other upscale cocktail lounges. Comfort is important and we were served unpretentiously and respectfully.

We came here because my husband needed something to snack on before we went to dinner. I ordered a specialty cocktail (11.00), my daughter a lucid absinth (12.50) and my husband a buffalo trace (11.00). We ordered a fruit and cheese platter to share, it had something for all three of us (our daughter is vegan). (12.00). My husband also had a manhattan (13.00). Drinks were good, and so was the service. My only suggestion is that they need to remove the cheese from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature. It is not very good cold. I had to let it warm up for a while and then you can taste the full flavor of the cheese. This really is a wonderful place.

Went for happy hour and enjoyed a martini at the bar. Happy hour advertises free appetizers. But I arrived in the second hour and the appetizer buffet definitely needed to be refreshed--empty containers.

Oliver's is the very best cocktail lounge in Seattle by far. A classic libation laboratory where mixology is an intuitive art form residing on the corner of 4th and delectable. The drinks are muddled with pure, fresh ingredients, then mixed with the mostly precisely aged and best suited distilled ambrosia. Each drink is perfection. This is not a lounge for adults with childish, immature tastes. If you want a birthday cake flavored vodka chocolate martini with gummy bears and sprinkles, go anywhere else. If you interpretative versions of classic cocktails made with skill, fresh ingredients, finesse, talent and mind-numbing flavor...this is your place. Oliver's is my wife and my go-to lounge before concerts, plays, games, and romantic weekends. You are treated with respect and as a connoisseur of cocktail knowledge here, not as one more urban hipster in search of a trend. If you want good go to any of the other bars around Seattle...if you want great drinks in a classic style there is no place else in Seattle that comes close to Oliver's.

Fantastic drinks and food. We had been walking from the Ferry to the downtown shopping area, the space needle, and back to downtown shopping when we stopped to rest and refuel. The grilled cheese and tomatoe basil soup were lovely. Service was very excellent as well.

I wish there would have been a place sectioned off for a hotel guest with a teenager. Your menu is great and something for all ages but no place for an 18 year old to set. I ordered and took it up to our room to eat. We had been on the move all day and didn't want to go back out. Nothing on the menu at the main restaurant that he wanted. Most of the nicer hotels have an area for families in the lounge. The food was great! He had the Oliver burger with fries ad I had the turkey club.

Stayed in the hotel and often frequented this place for drinks. They had a variety of cocktails, I tried several different ones and I enjoyed them all. If you can get a seat by the window, the people watching is amusing. Most days of the week, they had food for happy hour and it was free and quite good.

Ordered lunch when we first arrived to Seattle. Great food and prices. The drinks are incredible. Services was excellent.

We were staying at the Mayflower and went for cocktails in this lovely historic lounge a few times. The locals come here as a matter of tradition and many we met said they had been coming for 20 years. The appies were good, fresh and hot. The cocktails amazing!

Walked over to Oliver’s for a cocktail at the bar. My martini was a Classic and the vibe at the bar was very friendly. The view out the large windows made me feel as if I was in San Francisco.

My husband and I stayed at the Mayflower park and enjoyed cocktails at Oliver’s . We sat at the bar so we had a good view out the window and could people watch. I enjoyed “peach be with you,” A delicious concoction of champagne and peach liquor. Delicious!

Sat at the bar with a group of friends on a Tuesday afternoon. The bartender was very attentive and friendly and waited on us promptly. It was not very busy, so I can't say that this is usually the case. He conversed with us and gave us some tips on where to go and where to eat since this was our first time in Seattle. The drink list is quite lovely, but expect to pay hotel prices for a small drink (three to four sips of their martini and it's finished). There is not much of a view from the windows (busy sidewalk), but it is pretty inside. Although we were staying at the hotel, we did not return, so I can't comment on the evening ambiance.

This is a great bar to sit and people watch. There are very large windows that face the street on two sides, because it is located on a corner. The drink prices seem to be in line with other places near by and there are some happy hour snacks. Attached to cozy, quaint Mayflower Park Hotel.

Had a delicious clam chowder. I got a table with a street view. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I had a late lunch and didn´t need a reservation but you may need to book in advance.

Stopped in for a quick drink and snack over the weekend. Ordered some drinks and the cheese plate. I have to say, it lacked any form of creativity at all. The server dropped the platter without explaining any of the cheese selections, which was ok, cause they were so dull we figured it out. I believe it was gouda, (not smoked) cheddar, and brie. No fig jam, no honey, nothing exceptional to make the platter- pretty dull - like a college kid put it together with no culinary inspiration. Crackers were ok but same same. A few grapes, strawberries were ripe, the two dried apricots were a nice addition but so few? Just not what I expect from this place. Letdown. Cocktails were good, wine selection was good. The atmosphere at this bar is great, big windows, good temperature, voices did carry here so you can hear everything that is being said. Overall an ok experience but would not recommend ordering the cheese platter, just not worth it.

We stayed at the Mayflower Hotel, getting in kind of late. It was so nice to go downstairs and get a bite to eat. It turned out that our BLTs were huge. Very good! We would recommend it.

Spent a few hours relaxing with family here on our second night. Had drinks and snacks. Beautiful windows to look out onto the street. Cozy place to be quiet and enjoy company. Would recommend others to sit and have a drink and enjoy the moment. Prices reasonable.

We were staying at the Mayflower Park Hotel with friends and family. Oliver's Lounge was a full service bar and great place for all of us to gather.

Oliver's is a wonderful old style lounge located inside Mayflower Park Hotel. The service was wonderful

Helpful and attentive server for dessert and drinks in evening — retrieved special items from the onsite fancy dinner restaurant. We’re not much for shaken cocky but bartender kept busy! Nice place !

I always stop in here at the end of the day for a cocktail. Food is good and great people watching. The room is very beautiful

We had cocktails a few times while staying at the Mayflower Park Hotel and we loved the lounge each time we visited. The service was fabulous, the ambience lovely and the cocktails delicious, I highly recommend Oliver's Lounge!

Love hotel lounges like this. Quiet and dark with plush chairs and a nice bar with a bartender who knows how to mix cocktails. Not a huge martini fan but it was their specialty so thought I would try it. Very tasty.

Food was average, a little pricy. Drinks were on the high side. Small dining area. Server was nice. Service was on the slow side.

Got in late from our flight and needed a dinner bite before crashing. There were only ten minutes left before the kitchen was closing. Traveling with a minor who wasn't allowed in the bar area, so got this meal to go. We had a BLT and a cheeseburger - both accompanied by a tidal wave of good quality potato chips. The cheese burger was excellent - with a pickled red onion on top. Sipped an old fashioned while waiting for my order. Pleasant space and good food.

We arrived to our hotel after a very long day of traveling across the country and went downstairs to the restaurant/bar to eat and feel pumped to try out our first food/drinks in Seattle. We were “greeted” by Blaine saying, “if you plan on eating you need to hurry because the kitchen closes in 15 minutes”. I replied “hello! How are ya? And yes we want to eat and have a few drinks” he walked away, and didn’t come back for 15 minutes. It’s a very small bar and he was 10 feet away and never turned towards us during that 15 minutes. It was strange and rude. He finally came over after we got his attention and he impatiently took our order for two salads. In the meantime he made us both vodka & soda cocktails while providing us with pink water. He later replaced the pink water with clean water when he finally noticed he served funky water. We got our salads 20-25 minutes later and we’re very surprised at how teensy tiny they were, lol. Blaine was rude, impatient, distracted by friends at other end of the bar, and disengaged. My hubby and I are empty nesters, our kids are long out of college, we are in our 50’s...wake up Blaine, we have disposable income pal. Take care of the patrons that fit that bill, you’ll make great bank. Ultimately, we asked for the check after one drink and the itty bitty salads. Blaine asked if everything was ok, and my hubby and I both laughed....no, Blaine...you were super and needlessly RUDE, we’re going elsewhere. My hubby replied “just bring the check”. We paid and went somewhere else. FYI, we still tipped him but it would have been way better if he was better.

Came in for a quick lunch after braving the crowds and scooping up the deals of the century. We split a hamburger which had now dressing on it. dryer than a bone. The food was good, but you need something on those burgers to make them sing.

Was a wonderful place to get a few drinks before dinner. I ordered a drink and it wasn't exactly to my liking and the bar tender tried his best to make it work for me. Still not liking it ordered my own concoction and he made that one perfect. Very helpful staff there and comfortable atmosphere.

A cozy uptown watering hole with a great happy hour and free small appetizers as you watch the traffic on the busy downtown streets at this corner spot.

I stayed in on an especially rainy night and went down to eat at Andalusia only to sadly discover it was closed. Oliver's food options were very thin and they had no interest in being accommodating.

We stayed at the Mayflower so would stop in at the bar daily before or after dinner. Liked the atmosphere and trying some of their unique drinks.

Oliver's Lounge in the Mayflower Hotel is a hidden gem in downtown Seattle. The drinks are well prepared and you get a good "pour" of alcohol for the money. Besides the cocktails, the food at Oliver's is great. From the salads to the sandwiches or hamburger, you will not be disappointed. Costs are in the $10-$18 range unless you are ordering a steak, and the quality of the food and portions are very good. I have had more than one dinner there when I just wanted to unwind after a long day.

Sat at the bar prior to turning in for the night. Bartender was friendly and fun. Order a few beers and they provided peanut snacks. Each beer was about $7.00. They have a great view of the outside street. Fun to sit there and watch as people go by. Didn't order any food. Would stop in again if in the area.

Weather actually staying in this charming hotel or not, the very traditional classic street level lounge has a true retro era delight. Always a good sign when some staff has decades of happy service there!

I was staying at this Hotel for a conference, so we came to this lounge several times. The service was always excellent and they had a great drink menu. They seemed to specialize in martini's, but I usually ordered wine. The place was always busy, but never seemed to "noisy". They have a free appetizer station during happy hour. It is small, but everyone seemed to enjoy what was offered. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in the city!

We returned to our hotel after seeing "Waitress" and were just hungry but didn't want a full dinner so late in the evening. We weren't sure if they'd serve us so late, but they were very accomodating. We shared the cheese plate. It was so good, we chose to have dinner there the next evening and shared the Charcouterie plate and the Spinach dip, both were excellent and enough for dinner!

You'll enjoy stopping here for a brew among the jet set local crowd. They have a happy hour most evenings with nice snacks and a great variety of local and foreign beers, as well as specialty and common drink creations. It's a comfortable, non-intimidating place that you can relax in with friends, receive great service and wind down after a work day or day of being a tourist. I give them an A+ rating and recommend a visit.

We were in-house guests and were at Oliver’s Lounge. Seated by a really nice and friendly gentleman (Juan) we wanted to order asap so that we can order the happy hour menu! Sadly, Juan couldn’t oblige and we had to wait for the waitress. When she finally appeared, she said we were too late and we cannot order from the Happy Hour Menu- it’s 6.15pm! We might have been maybe 1-2 mins over the 6 pm deadline if our orders were taken right away. At least some discretion would be fantastic to not upset yr customers, especially in-house guests! Perhaps management should review their policy of only restricting one person to take orders and allow staff such as Juan to also take orders during busy times. We might have ordered a few rounds of drinks but since we were no longer happy, we decided to leave after one drink!

Wait staff very attentive, prices ok, complimentary appetizers very good and plentiful. If I had not had plans for dinner could have made this my evening repast.

Nice atmosphere in the Mayflower Park hotel. They offered little apps (cocktail weiners, veggies and dip) in the late afternoon but no happy hour pricing at that time.

Though we only enjoyed a drink at this lovely bar, the view from the bar to the outside is beautiful and the ambiance lovely.

very nice indeed & the bar staff made up for the personality the hotel reception staff lacked!! The meals there were very good. The portions were very generous indeed – if you have a smaller appetite they are quite happy to split a main meal between two people.

Visited twice during our stay at Mayflower Park hotel. Food was good & affordable on both occasions. Nice atmosphere in open airy room with high windows onto street. Only had one cocktail, but not expensive at $12.

Enjoyed some very late night drinks at the bar and found the drinks to be wonderful, as well as good service and a very cozy ambiance.

Our meal was not bad by any means, but nowhere near commensurate with the cost. Cocktails are okay, but certainly nothing special.

Neat little lounge with an appy hour, drinks weren't on special but there were free jalapeño poppers and chips and salsa from 4-6pm in a serve yourself buffet style way. Decent prices (for the area) and pleasant staff. There are some very unique and fancy cocktails so if mixology is your thing you should check this place out.

Great location downtown and located in the very lovely Mayflower hotel. We tried this restaurant twice, only to have terrible service both times. The staff seemed annoyed that we showed up, did smile or say welcome. Each time they forgot parts of our order, brought lukewarm tea, and couldnt seperate the bills for large business groups. They dont take reservations ahead if time. They shoot themselves in the foot with this policy, as if they did, they would be able to call in appropriate levels of staff so they are prepared for large groups. Food was just so so.

I've previously extolled the well made cocktails, especially the mar-toonies, and the Mad Men feel to the bar. But what makes this lounge so special is the bar tenders and wait staff. Drinks are made to championship (yes, they've won a few) level. The wait staff makes you feel like a regular on your first visit And on this count, I raise my Plymouth gin martini (shaken, lemon twist) to Emily D. What a gem!! During Christmas time, the bar can be slammed. But with a charming smile, a joke or two and time to stir up some fun at out table, we were all treated like old friends of hers. So much so, we came back for lunch the next day and who was our server? Princess Emily! (my daughter is the Duchess of Olivers so we so promted Emily to Princess status) 5 for the drinks / 5 for the ambiance / 5 for Team Olivers.

Oliver's, in the Mayflower Park Hotel is an excellent place to meet with friend before going to dinner. The staff is professional and the drinks are good, but not cheap.

This appears to be a popular venue. It is not cheap but offers a very good selection of drinks. Food is also available and for the location is not unreasonably priced. We were staying in the Hotel and ate in Oliver's on our last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This is "the classic" hotel bar, right next to and sharing entrance with stately Mayflower Park Hotel. Friendly and attentive server brought chocolate cake and two brandies (not on the bar's drinks menu) over from nearby hotel restaurant -- nice to expand food and liquor options (through 11 pm on a Saturday night). Full beer, wine, cocktail options.

Tried a couple cocktails. Very well made. Very friendly bartenders and waiting staff. Sazerac was done to perfection

Great Bar and lounge - excellent service. Swanky place to meet friends, but a bit on the pricey side.

Very courteous staff. Great selection of cocktails. We tried the Vesper. Highly recommend. Good snack at Happy Hour.

Olivers located in the Mayflower Park is a great place to come and sit for a while and have a talk and drink. It was low key when I was there with mellow jazz-ish music playing in the background and soft lighting and with a calming pleasant ambiance about it. The staff was friendly but they did have some service issues forgetting part of the order by they then took it off the final bill upon leaving. Their drinks menu is good but not great and the beer selection I would say is just "okay" compared to similar upscale places in the area.Prices are what you expect kind of high being it is a hotel. It was clean inside and mostly over 40s for the crowd age, maybe over 50s, actually on Saturday night. But I liked that you CAN hear yourself think here. They do have a small menu and snacks to choose from to go along with your beverage and the restroom was clean but a bit far being downstairs around the corner and you have to ask for the door lock code which is a pain. I would come here again yes but it would not be my first choice,

Thank god for Oliver's Lounge. I was supposed to meet a bunch of friends for a post-COVID reunion at the Mayflower Park Hotel, but their flight had mechanical problems and they couldn't arrive in Seattle until the next day. Oliver's outrageously good martinis definitely softened the blow that night. Really elegant setting. The burger and fries were pretty great, too.

This restaurant was just what we were looking for, cocktails and bites to eat in a setting similar what you would expect places to be like in the 1920's. Really cosy. Good service. Brilliant!!

Great place! We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel for three nights this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which Oliver's is located and thoroughly enjoyed this bar every night! The staff was welcoming and the drinks were delicious and decently priced. We came to love their signature cocktail called the Silver Belle. Very refreshing. We watched the bartenders make it a lot and even shared the recipe with us and now going to enjoy at home always remembering Oliver's. This is a smaller place but I like it that way. There are tall windows behind the bar showcasing the downtown streets (lounge is on a corner) and enjoyed the view from our bar seats. We could enjoy our drinks and people watch at the same time. There are plenty of tables but we like to sit at the bar and interact with the bartenders and watch them make different drinks. We happen to always arrive when the lounge had a handful of people there and within 30-40 minutes the lounge was full and busy, which is a good sign. We frequented this place the most on our trip because it was located in our hotel and simply because it was great! If I'm ever back in Seattle, I will definitely pay a visit to Oliver's Lounge whether or not I stay at the hotel!

Met family for cocktails in this room... Great atmosphere / windows / history. Great drinks too. Good service; I didn't like my first drink, and they quickly made me the perfect drink right after. Nice bonus to get a few jars of salted peanuts as well.

We stopped in Olivers for dinner. They were serving free appetizers while we were there. The apps were pretty greasy and we really couldn't tell what they were. Our server was very nice and took our order right away. We thought the beer menu was very limited. We got cheeseburgers and steak fries which were served within 15 minutes. The fries were delicious but the burgers were just ok. Our major concern was the air conditioning wasn't working and it was very warm. If we had been told that in the beginning, we wouldn't have stayed. Overall, Olivers to us was just ok.

We are staying at the Mayflower hotel and stopped in to Oliver's Lounge for a glass of wine. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was happy hour. There was no break on the price of the wine but we had chips and salsa along with crab and cheese puffs from the self serve area. Very nice staff!

Excellent lounge with award winning drinks. We stopped by for a late night cocktail and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great with a beautiful chandelier and comfortable seating. The service was excellent we never wanted for anything. The best part was certainly the Silver Bell, elder flower, vodka, champagne, lemon cocktail. You absolutely must try this drink. There are peanuts on every table but they come in a jar that you can't fit your hand in so you have to pour them out. I particularly liked this hygiene touch. I like peanuts but do not want to eat them out of a bowl several other people have dipped there hands into. If you are looking for a nice place to have a great cocktail, this is the place.

Great food and drinks. We enjoyed ending our evening at Oliver's during our week stay here. Wait staff was excellent and attended to our needs in a professional manner.

A very high class bar serving great cocktails and drinks with a very relaxed feel. Food is wonderful and the crab cakes are to die for. Come and enjoy the history of this wonderful hotel and bar.

Beautiful spot right in the Mayflower Park Hotel. Ginny the bartender was wonderful. Just a fun person so gracious and polite. Treated each guest with the same warm friendly manner. Refreshing to have a lady as out host behind the bar!

Olivers has the perfect ambience for a late night snack and drinks, but their crab cakes aren't anything to sneeze at either.

Try Olvier's if you want a martini and a feeling of luxury! The service is fast but not overbearing. A glass of wine in the evening is a must after a busy day. They also serve dessert and can order from the restaurant if their limit menu doesn't meed your needs. I found myself eavesdropping on the most interesting conversation - sorry for listening but i couldn't help it!

We stayed at the Mayflower Park hotel 4 nights in August and went to Oliver's several times during our stay. Every time the drinks were fantastic. The Aviation was our favorite. They are delicious and strong. Will was a great bartender and we enjoyed our conversations with him. The lounge is beautiful and classy. We really loved our stay at this hotel!

Loved this classy bar -- seemed small and intimate, offering bar seating or table seating. The 2 walls of 2-story windows made the dark wood interior seem very welcoming. And the craft cocktails are fantastic. We got the Sazerac and Classic Hemingway Daquiri and both were outstanding. Generous pours, beautifully presented. Numerous other offerings were enticing, so I know we'll be back. And pricing was surprisingly good compared to other Seattle bars offering similarly high end cocktails. Best of all, the place is serene -- no blaring music to have to yell over, no rowdy crowds.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Mayflower Hotel and enjoyed Oliver's Lounge. It is a great lounge, nice atmosphere and service is excellent. They are open late which is nice when coming back from a night out and you just want a quiet place to have a drink. Happy hour is fantastic too.

Really nice bar lovely staff and great food. The crab cakes are delicious ad is the chocolate dessert. Also a great choice of drinks. Thanks team

Went to this place late at night at the recommendation of a relative. They have a very ecclectic drink selection and the bartender came over to us to introduce himself--nice touch.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with a great bar area. Friendly staff, we did not eat there only had drinks before going out for the evening.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park hotel the night before our cruise. We ended up at Oliver's after dinner at another location. We had heard about their martini's and everything I had heard was spot on. They do make the best martini's here! We also had dessert and that was excellent too. There was a mix-up on our order but they corrected it quickly. We'll definitely be back!

Staying in the hotel, we had to go to Oliver's lounge at least once. Drinks are very pricey - but worth it for the experience? There are free snacks during the happy hour. Not replenished very quickly, but a nice bonus.

This restaurant is located inside of the Mayflower Hotel. It is a combination of a lounge/bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is a bit louder than a general eatery, but nothing unusual when it is included in a lounge. It is a classy place and the restaurant seating is off to the side of the main bar area. We had Christmas dinner there and were quite disapointed in the meal and service. We had reservations, but it was clear that they were running out of food and didn't have enough staff on hand. We thought for the price and place it would have been much better. NOT!

We had several late night drinks at Oliver's. Very nice place, friendly waiter/waitress. Nice view from the windows onto the downtown activity of the city.

This place has an old Absinthe dispenser and an actual "list" to choose from! It's a very classy place! Go try it, but call for a ride home! Great place for Classic Cocktails of all sorts!

Happy hour drinks were $12. I asked if others were included in happy hour. Answer was yes and pointed to drinks menu. I ordered a gin and tonic. Charged me $18 for gin and $1 for tonic. Charges and automatic 20% tip. What a ripoff. Never go there again. Drink was watered down as well.

Hotel bars are notoriously windowless. Oliver's is the opposite. Oliver's is generous with free nibbles and the drinks -- while expensive -- are So Totally Worth The Money! Staff on our busy weekend was 100% calm and competent -- a refreshing blend of professionals delivering personalized service.

A great place to relax after a long international flight across the pond. Really lovely bar staff who were friendly, warm and welcoming. We felt completely at home here. Beautiful decor and those fabulous windows! A really lovely start to our wonderful trip to the Pacific Northwest. Great ambience, thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed sitting at the bar visiting with new found friends, watching our bartender mix old fashioned cocktails as the outside world passed by. Always stir your manhattan and a absinthe from the classic Art Deco water dispenser is a must. Beautiful bar in a classic setting

They offer a second "Happy Hour" from 9:00-11:00 with good drink and menu options. Staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed sitting there for an hour to talk about how much we enjoyed "Come from Away" at the 5th Ave Theatre.

Fried mac and cheese snacks but the house Bloody Mary is excellent. Worth a visit to the bar for that even if you are not staying at the Mayflower.

When we checked into Mayflower park hotel, we were hungry but to tired to go out. Their main restaurant was closed so we went into Oliver's. Their menu had a large variety to choose from. I had a burger and fries that was enough for two and very good.

The sazarac cocktail was the best I've ever had. The tables and Bar seats have nice s greet virews. This is a good place to enjoy a relaxing drink with friends or colleagues.

Had a nice time at the bar. The cocktails were creative and well done. The gazpacho with crab was delicious. Enjoyed the view too.

Oliver's is an elegant place for a handcrafted cocktail and appetizers before dinner. The bartender was great and the drinks and food very good. It is a bit pricey, so be prepared, but definitely worth the splurge.

We almost did not stop here thinking it was just a little "too convenient" as Mayflower Park Hotel guests....so glad we stopped in for a quick drink and a quick snack, we did it two more times. This place shares a kitchen with the more upscale (less pubby) Andalucas --- it's good! Loved that fact that my cocktail was served in a cut crystal glass too....a touch of class.

This small bar is located in the Mayflower Hotel, an historic downtown Seattle hotel. A very cosy atmosphere. We visited late afternoon - the service was not to the standard of the hotel- an indifferent server. At change of shift this seemed to change.

Quiet and nice bar in the Mayflower Seattle hotel. Nice food and drinks so you can stay here to unwind.

Free munchies at happy hour. Really tasty martinis. A little loud maybe but great people watching out the windows. Limited menu service but they do make an awesome New York steak.

Rare bar and lounge that gives one a real feel for the grand past of hotels and travel... Very good range of beverages from beers, wines and classic martinis. Very good dining menu where one can easily find something to satisfy any hunger pangs. Very good service.

Excellent place to unwind after a busy day. Good tapas style snacks and terrific drinks. We tried two kinds of absinthe drinks.

Fun place to meet friends, nice food and good atmosphere. Worthy of being a hotel bar for such a nice hotel

the space is truly beautiful; great light, layout; classic. unfortunately, the bartender, Bill, went out of his way to be unfriendly and sullen. No idea what his problem was, maybe he was simply having a bad night. But i can tell you that if he represents the quality of staff in the rest of this bar/hotel, it does not bode well. he was truly the surliest bartender i have experienced in many years.

We grabbed a quick bite before we had to leave the Mayflower Park Hotel. The service was beyond great. We didn't have to ask for anything. Our food was wonderful. We were treated like King and Queens. Wish we had a place like this where we lived. Highly recommend it. You won't be sorry!

We spent quite a few 'happy hours' at Oliver's bar last year. I kept returning for their FANTASTIC lemon drop and my boyfriend tried all cocktails on the menu. And loved them all. Thank you so much Steve for sending me the lemon drop recipe for our wedding this year. :-)

Really nice bar, with floor to ceiling windows, and relaxing ambiance/lighting. We grabbed cocktails here before walking over to Andaluca restaurant for dinner.

This is a nice lounge that also offers small bites and a limited menu. It was plenty for dinner if you weren't interested in going out. The night I dined they had some specials and the seafood chowder was wonderful!

Staying in the Mayflower Park Hotel, we ate at Oliver's our first night: the steak was superb, cooked perfectly, & the wine a perfect compliment. As our hostess & server, Susan was pleasant & quick to respond with everything, from salt & pepper to recommending the perfect wine. Delicious dessert as well (a Raspberry gelee 1 night, the warm, liquid chocolate cake another night). We did visit the bar nightly, enjoying a glass of wine & conversing with Elyseo, the bartender, & Dylan, another employee who became our friend. Beautiful, quiet, intimate atmosphere with a nice view of the nighttime city & the people. Because it's small & intimate, it was easy meet & talk with other patrons & making new friends! Can't wait to return & HIGHLY recommend!!

The food was fresh, good and came out quickly. Our server was equally great and we had a great business meeting over a wonderful breakfast.

Vintage feel, great adult beverages and tasty upscale bar food. Average drink was @$11.00, but worth it.

Old world club atmosphere of quiet success and good taste. Multiple Award winning Cocktails made with the finest ingredients. Every aspect of our meals was faultless. Generous servings of fresh fish, freshly made Tartar sauce, and the chips were sublime. Wife had the Pear, Blue Cheese & Walnut Salad with a side of Chicken. She loved the tangy taste, freshness and presentation of the meal. She is fussy and you delighted her, thank you. Service was prompt and personable, thanks again, K & E.

We stopped here for a wine tasting and enjoyed a cheese plate to go with the wine. The cheeses were very good and so were the wines. It was a nice treat in our busy schedule.

We make it to Seattle about every year or so for pleasure; and a must stop for us ALWAYS is at Oliver's Lounge at the Mayflower Hotel located in downtown Seattle! Nobody makes a better dirty gin martini than the bartenders at Oliver's! We love the ambiance, the overall vibe, the service, the peanuts; and most importantly - the cocktails! We appreciate that it never changes, and always offers us the same experience time & time again. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!!!

We were staying at the Mayflower Park Hotel and stopped in at Oliver's to have a drink before dinner. It's a classy place with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the city. They offered free appetizers with our drinks.....onion rings, pizza, pita and hummus. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned after dinner for another drink. Though we are not martini drinkers, we could see that many of the patrons were enjoying martinis which are the specialty of the house. We were happy with our drinks....I had one of their special drinks and my husband had a manhattan which he said was great. We liked the ambiance and drinks so much that we came back another two times. Oliver's is relaxing and intimate.....a great place to unwind.

Beautiful bar with a great view and huge picture windows. Nice drinks and friendly staff. I always prefer a hotel with some history and a good bar. This one did not disappoint.

Bartender was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were good and glasses were clean. Cheese and cracker tray were also very good.

As advertised, the martini was a hit, the wine recommendation lovely, and the turkey club perfect for a light late night nosh. Friendly service, cute space. Appreciated!

We have been stopping by Oliver’s on and off for the past 10 years. It is one of the best bar scenes in Seattle. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, but it is the classic gin martini with olives that draws us back. We have tried to replicate this martini experience in bars around the world, but never experienced a martini that comes close to the Oliver’s one. They have a new martini, the Burgundian, to celebrate 90 years in business. Fabulous!!!

We stayed at the Mayflower Hotel and Oliver's Lounge is conveniently located in the hotel. What a treat after a full day of "touristing", great place to relax and enjoy their specialty beverages then head up to your room. The drinks were delicious!!!

My colleague and I were staying at the convention Sheraton hotel in Seattle and wanted to get out of the hotel. We found Oliver's Lounge just a few blocks away. And what a great find! Martinis are a specialty and we tried a traditional gin one and a specialty vodka one. Delicious. And our lunches included crab cakes with salad and fish and chips. Both were great. Our waitress was friendly. And the best part of the experience was the old hotel and lounge that made us feel we were back in the 1930s.

Cocktail know-how and friendliness all in one place. If you're a martini lover, they have a number of unique options to work through. Great option for a pre dinner cocktail, or night cap. Very Nice!

We had lunch with friends here. It was 1 PM, after regular lunch hours, but it took a very long time till we got our food. The food itself was goo (salad, sandwich,...) but nothing exceptional.

We need some quiet parent time away from the teenagers. Oliver's definitely gave us that plus some fab cocktails - some of which are signatures of the barmen. Loved all the ones we tried. Mrs. M also had a salad one evening - which she said was spot on For me a chance to chat in a peaceful corner whilst also watching the world go by outside was the best part of this venue.

Quality craft drinks make one feel like you're back in the 1920's!! And the food is equal to the cocktails!!

Friendly service, but slow. Taking our orders, arrival of our meals and payment were all slow. It wasn’t overly busy and it seemed to be a staffing issue. Meals were nice.

We love going here in the Holiday season. Great drinks and atmosphere. Nice bar to belly up to on quite days.

We enjoy this comfortable place to relax and have a drink and snacks. The service was wonderful. This is a lovely older hotel located in the heart of Seattle.

I arrived in Seattle three hours late due to flight delays and caught only the end of a special event. Upon returning, on my way to the elevator in the Mayflower Park Hotel, I decided to drop by Oliver’s for a glass of,wine. It was charming and beautifully decorated for Christmas. I appreciated how the lounge is divided into three sections: the main bar and cocktail lounge, a sunken room with soft seating, and a semi-private alcove good for groups. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed getting away from the revelry. I returned on my second night to enjoy a cocktail named for a favorite TV program, Downton Abbey.

We had both lunch and dinner in Oliver's. The bar service was great - a real, old fashioned cocktail mixologist experience. They have won awards for their martinis and had we stayed longer I would have definitely tried one, My husband is a beer snob but they won his respect with the choices offered. Menu is varied enough to offer a true choice but everything appears to be cooked from scratch. Most of the offerings are finger food and burgers and sandwiches and serving sizes are more than adequate so bring your appetite.
Great old fashioned
Stopped in here while staying at the Mayflower. Great atmosphere, great service and excellent drinks made the old fashioned way. Nothing but class Definitely recommend
