The atmosphere here is nice and the desserts are amazing. The coffee is good too. The only knock is that the tables and chairs are too clunky and get in the way if each other. They owners should definitely change that aspect. Otherwise, I recommend Omonia.

We came here after dinner and were pleased with the choices available of tradition Greek and American desserts. This is a great after-dinner spot. They serve dinner also, but we didn't try it.

I remember the old Omonia and this new one is a total inprovement. From design, to expanded menu and atmosphere. I haven't had a chance to try much of the food, but the Chicken panini is definetely worth having. When it gets busy the service is slow and a lot of confusion. I tried the tartufo, and it wasn't the traditional tartufo. It's a nice spot if you are looking for a hang out place late at night and a quick bite. Definitely will be coming in the future. FYI parking is terrible in Bay Ridge and it makes it very inconvenient to visit this place sometimes.

Great desserts.

Ominous is a fun lively destination with friends or family anytime. Breakfast, brunch or supper offers many choices. The food is delicious there is only one challenge, " What shall I order?" The food is delicious and greeting upon entry were VERY friendly. Bring your appetite or just have dessert! There is definitely something for everyone! Enjoy!!

Love this place, coffee and desert is absolutely scrumptiously delicious. I recommend the ice Frappe and Nutella with bananas and strawberries crepe. Very friendly and lively atmosphere. The out back seating is absolutely comfortable it gives you a flair of Greece in the air so warm and inviting, surrounded with softly lit candles just beautiful. My friends loved this place that they took their friends and families there. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Having attended a wedding the night before we were all in need of some hearty and tasty sustenance. I had the Strapatsada, an egg and feta creation, that was delicious. Service was attentive and quick.

We are regulars here mainly for the ambiance and great service. Coffee and drinks are great. Our favorite is frozen mud slide. Food is generally pretty good but the menu is too extensive making it hard for everything to be outstanding. My average rating stems from the mostly average desserts. Yes they all look heavenly but one we tasted so many of them, we concluded they weren't very good. Why? Well many taste like out of Betty Crocker pack. Custard and creams taste cheap. The best bet are cheesecakes and some flans. All in all, we stopped ordering desserts here and mostly come for coffee, snacks and the heavenly mud slide.

Service was great and pleasant. Brunch was quite good including various omelettes. It wasn't crazy busy but based on the quality it should have been. It was recommended that we try one of their cheesecakes. The waitress recommended the baklava cheesecake which was ridiculously good. Wow!

Bring your appetite because the servings are large and the food is tasty. Savory chicken crepe with pesto, feta cheese and roasted red peppers-WOW! Spinach and feta cheese egg white omelet tasted so good, I didn’t miss the yokes. The baklava cheesecake is a MUST! Galatakoburiko is moist and wonderful with a cup of tea.

This Cafe has a big sister in Astoria, Queens. Formerly known as Nightfalls, it has been updated in decor and food. The Bay Ridge Cafe is open most nights past midnight. While most Bay Ridge restaurants and cafes close their kitchens by ten pm, you may still find a full menu here. My grandson loves the fresh quality of the burgers and chicken fingers. The dessert counter is to die for! Do not order the to-go ice cream sundae unless you really love ice cream (which we do). It is huge! In warmer weather, there is an outside area. There is also an upstairs room for private parties. Try it sometime, you'll like it!

The cheesecake is very good, but the pina colada's suck!!!! Never buy pina colada's from there.

I go to Omonia often. Prices are a little high, but the food is dependable. Desserts are wonderful and they have great American and Greek coffee.

They have a lot of different deserts and the service is questionable but also the seating is a little cramped I'm sure they can do better

Have been coming to this place for years. It's great for couples and families. I like the first floor sitting booths much better than second floor. The place is great for a lunch or dinner or simply to have a light fare or coffee/deserts only. The quality of food is excellent and more importantly always super fresh. Service is sometimes a miss but due to quality of food I have it 5 stars.

Expensive. But very good food and large portions. The inattentive and extremely slow service completely ruined the experience.

The decor of the indoor and outdoor seating areas is pretty calming and chill. The food and dessert are pretty good. The service, on the other hand, has been nothing but terrible every time I've gone there! There are always mistakes in the order, or they bring out the dessert with the food at the same time, or they bring out someone's food and the others at the table don't get there's until much later, and hardly did I ever have any server come check on my table without me having to track them down. If it wasn't for the tasty food and portions and the fact that it's conveniently located within block of my house, I would've never gone back.

After having lunch, my wife, cousin and myself went to this café for coffee and dessert at the recommendation of my cousin who is a resident of Brooklyn. My wife and cousin had Italian coffees and said it was excellent. They skipped the sweets. I had Black Forest cake and bought some almond cookies to take with me. The cake was very different to what I am used to but it was excellent. The cookies I ate the next day at home and they were ok but I have had better. The place is very well appointed and the service excellent. The total with tip was $29.40.

My daughter and I met a friend for dinner at Omonia Cafe, and we had a great time! The atmosphere was casual, and the restaurant had multiple TVs showing sports and news (sound off), which was great for me as we watched the Vikes beat the Saints 😊 The setting is laptop friendly, and we never felt rushed, even though we stayed for a long time. The food was great, from appetizers to desert, and the service was incredible (Sveti in particular was awesome!). We would highly recommend Omonia for anyone visiting Brooklyn/Astoria looking for a terrific meal in a very nice family-style Greek restaurant!

This place is for deserts. Authentic Greek! I loved the iced drinks also.

Had lunch here a few days ago with my wife and brother the place is very nice pastry display is beautiful. After sitting for 15 minutes I had to get up and get 3 menus even though the place had maybe 8 people in it. Food was Ok but the service was very slow !

Located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, this Greek eatery has an amazing assortment of cakes abd sweets, $5 and up, pricey but good- some of the cake slices are big enough for two! Also serves food, lunch and dinner. Service was good, friendly folks. Do sit outside in the back, lovely and cozy though a bit cramped when full.

I always stop here when in Brooklyn and load up on cheesecakes and Baklava. The ambiance is modern and the counter service on take out was rude. I asked for something, and was given something else, when I asked, the mistake was confirmed, but they did not offer to lessen my load. I paid for the extra items and kept moving; they're worth it!!!

This bakery located in both Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Astoria, Queens is a neighborhood gem. I first came in one day to try their famed baklava cheesecake I had heard about, and though that was definitely delicious I've found items I enjoy even more upon multiple return visits. I LOVE their tiramisu cheesecake, it has the lightness of a tiramisu with the indulgence of a good cheesecake. They have a Greek dessert of which I do not know the name, but it's a custard enveloped with crispy phyllo layers soaked in what I believe is honey, and it is delicious. Spinach pie is fresh and flaky, Bread pudding a simple delight. Super friendly service. Hope to see this business thrive for years to come

Spinach pie greasy, couldn't eat, coffee not fresh. It's only good thing is the desserts. They need to put more effort into their cooking.

Is a nice place where you can relax and enjoy. With many choices on deeserts. I recommend the Mediterranean pizza and the bakllava cheescake.

I like the Euro vibe at Omonia's--a great place to chill with a cappuccino. The food is very good, but not topnotch. Sitting in the outdoor patio is especially pleasant in good weather. The service is exceedingly slow. On the plus side, if you want to hang out with friends, this is a great place to meet because they don't rush you off.

When we arrived the upstairs was closed for a party so we sat on the main floor which filled up quickly. There was a nice variety on the menu from food to drink, different coffees and lots of desserts to choose from. My friend had the baklava and coffee with bailey's which she really enjoyed and I had the frappe with a galaktibouriko. The coffee was good. The galaktobouriko was very tasty but a bit dry. I liked the carafe of water on the table. Good idea!
