Our home is about a five minute walk from the Luxe, my husband and I have stayed here many times, a quick weekend getaway from the kids. This will be our last stay at the The Luxe, things have really gone downhill at this hotel. As you can see by the attached photos the room was not four star worthy. We requested a room with a balcony and a view, instead we were given a room with a view of yellow tape and a hedge (see photo). We also ordered room service twice, last night we ordered dinner and they forgot to bring up the two desserts we ordered and this morning they forgot the tea bags and half & half. The front desk staff was unfriendly and not helpful whatsoever, they were informed that the room was shabby and NOT the room we had requested and they did nothing to help the situation. We would not recommend staying at The Luxe.

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting the Getty Museum nearby. Hotel restaurant was nice for dinner and breakfast, Valet parking only-- $36 per day.

Walked into restaurant no hostess. Just stood there for 5 minutes till the bus boy came over to seat me. Then finally after waiter came to table he said can I take your order? No can I get you a drink to start. Food came out and the halibut was a giant let down. My wine glass was finished half way into dinner. Nobody came by for a refill. Finish dinner and still nobody came to my table. So I walked to front desk of hotel and got the on duty manager. Brought him to my table showed him the lack of service and there were 12 tables and only 2 waiters 1 bus boy working. His reply sorry can I get you anything else? I said no I am very done here. This place was a giant let down and I will never be back. Poor service from all.

Located a minute or two from the 405 Freeway, guests may eat inside or outside and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have attended many meetings and meet friends at restaurant frequently.

We met a friend staying at the Luxe hotel for lunch on Saturday. We had our dog with us for the trip up to LA, so we were delighted to learn that the restaurant had a dog-friendly outdoor patio covered and shaded. The location was lovely. Our friend loved the hotel. But the lunch was mediocre. The food was just average. The service was sometimes non-existent, with servers hanging out inside obviously chatting and paying no attention to the guests outside in plain view. It was quite disappointing.

Not much to say. A three star hotel (out of five) in a convenient location, with an average restaurant. Not worthy of going out of your way to visit.

I've had lunch and breakfast there. My last lunch was with three friends. Three of the salads were sent back! So, I wouldn't suggest ordering salad.

great location and I love the rooms, the pool is so secluded you feel like you are the only guest. We joined in for the Sunday Brunch and the food was really great! Chef Olivier and Juliana (restaurant GM) gave us five star service all weekend! love the stay

As hotel breakfasts go, this one was definitely among the better ones on this side of the Atlantic. The food is conventional — at breakfast, the best surprise is probably no surprise — but tasty. What’s more, there’s lots of it. Norma’s this place is not, but it is very good. The ambience is agreeable except for the singer who was there to entertain the early arrivals for brunch. We could have done without her.

I ate here twice during my stay, and recommend it. The mussels and tuna tartare were incredible, as was my salad.

I attended a business meeting at the Luxe, with a fairly large crowd. The hotel was an excellent choice, and the restaurant handled both the morning snacks, and the formal luncheon with grace, ease and good food. They did an excellent job of meeting the time constraints for the lunch, delivering the 3 course lunch with ease, and even meeting special requests from some of the guests (under time pressure). Staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated this location for the business meeting, and would recommend it to others who may seek a quiet, attractive and professional meeting place.

The food is awesome and the customer service in the restaurant is superb. The Truffle Fries are to die for!

stayed for the first time and really enjoyed the natural park like setting and the rooms are really beautiful and spacious. The staff are all really down to earth and friendly. Nice break from a corporate hotel. Restaurant staff are pretty lame and or poorly managed.

Monday lunch. Paused from shopping. Excellent service. Proper dress is required so as not feel embarrassed yourself. The people working will make you feel special no matter what. We had the greatest sea bass dish I have ever tasted. Perfect choice.

Dined at 5:30 in an empty restaurant. The lobster sliders were very good as was the rainbow kale salad. Service was good. Rather pricey.

A somewhat odd menu we thought, but managed to find enough. We were very tired after a long flight from London and had been up 19 hours. We got through it though and were very well served. If I were staying for longer (as in previous visits), I don't think we'd be eating at the hotel again. Nothing wrong with the food, but not very exciting in our opinion. The breakfast is excellent though so you should try that.

I actually ate at ON Sunset restaurant several times during a recent conference in LA. They offer a wide selection, friendly service and decent prices.

the breakfast is very delicious at a reasonable price. the dinner menu is ok. needs to have more/better options for dinner.

Good spot for a casual meal. We had mozzarellas caprese and a Cobb salad. Both well prepared and nicely presented.

We had Sunday breakfast here as we were staying at the Luxe. They offer brunch that looked good but we ordered off the menu. The food was very good and fairly reasonable in cost. There is a nice outdoor seating area.

We had breakfast one morning at this on site restaurant and it was good. Expensive but convenient for a quick meal.

Great food and service was top notch. They also have a great wine list and you can sit outside under the stars

This is one of two hotels near the Getty Museum (the other is the Hotel Angeleno, which is a tower beside the freeway and now has boutique hotel pretensions). The Luxe consists of two large buildings one above the other up a cliff below the Getty separated by a steep path, I was in the upper one. The rooms are big. I am not sure if this was typical, but mine seemed to have been fitted out for disabled use (curtained drive-in shower, handrails everywhere). It looked towards the swimming pool. Decor was grey; refitted a few years ago in a slightly clunky groovy-modern-hotel style. Comfortable bed and good standard of hotel maintenance. They would drive you up and down the hill in a golf buggy if you asked or were passing. There is an expansive public area (quite a few functions at weekends) and good counter service. The hotel acts posh with people in uniform rushing out to you at each point, but feels more ordinary inside. Everyone seems to use Uber in LA and the desk would order you one and add it to the bill. Breakfast is a la carte (no buffet) and poor; no decent cereal or fresh fruit. Dinner was also pretty bad. Rubbery chicken, just passable grilled salmon. The hotel is quiet enough but in the best LA tradition in the middle of nowhere, so you are in a self-contained hotel world. if you cross the freeway on Sunset Boulevard you enter the posh suburbs, but there are no shops nearby - nearest is a Chevron petrol station on the other side of the freeway on Sepulveda Boulevard. So you end up using the bar fridge and hotel restaurant which can end up costing a lot. Although the Getty is right above you the entrance is a kilometer or two away. You could walk there along Sepulveda Boulevard but you can't because there are no footpaths. The hotel will drive you there in a shuttle bus if you catch them at a free time, but you need to get a taxi back. In spite of the pool and gym it does not offer a resort relaxation experience, but good if you need to work out. Quite expensive I thought, but I am not up with LA prices.

I recently reviewed the Luxe Hotel in Brentwood. There were a few issues that I brought to their attention. I got a response from the front desk manager . She suggested that I call her. I called her, left a message and never heard from her. I This doesn't surprise me.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. At breakfast, coffee was good but needed to be stronger. Bacon, fruit, toast, all good. Eggs were egg-cellent. Dinner was just nice and healthy and really delicious. Perfect for a hotel restaurant. Excellent service.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but really nice. Room and staff were first rate and the dining room for breakfast is terrific. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. One issue is construction on another wing is in going so a lot of noise by the pool.

Amazing is all I can say about it. We went to the best Comedy Club called the Comedy Union that was really close by. It was such a great time all the way around

We stayed at the Luxe Sunset for a month, as we were waiting for our rental house to become available while our own house is in major remodel. Some Luxe management and staff were great. Most were very responsive. However, several times I rang the front desk phone range 10+ times with no answer. A few times, I had to ask twice for a service. Lots of amenities -- nice pool area, pilates, tennis, small outdoor gym area with cardio equipment. Also a Big Plus: dogs are allowed at this property -- many people brought their dogs, and this was essential for us,. However, there is no place on the property to really walk or exercise the dogs -- the upper rooms have some grassy areas -- otherwise, it is a hike up the hill from the main lodge area. re: Covid Issues: One evening, the hotel allowed a large event for a social media influencer, to take place in the parking lot at the upper entrance --there were easily 150+ people, at booths and milling around. I went out once to walk my dog and I didn't see anyone in the booths wearing masks -- and there was no requirement for anyone else to wear a mask. This, during a time in which covid is raging again, ICUs are filling up again with covid patients, and the Delta variant is deadlier than the original disease. I was honestly shocked that this event was allowed by management, as it could easily have been a super-spreader. Along this same line, my major complaint: While most of the staff was wonderful - there is no requirement to be vaccinated, --some of the staff are not vaccinated (I asked!) and I saw couple of housekeeping staff who would not wear masks. I saw them cleaning rooms with their masks around their necks -- this to me, was appalling -- in this time of raging covid and breakthrough infections, with diminishing effectiveness of initial vaccines, I felt very uncomfortable seeing housekeeping staff cleaning rooms without a mask, or pushing a laundry cart through the interior corridor without a mask. One sneeze or cough while cleaning a room, handling sheets and towels, could spread this disease. I will say, that towards the end of our stay, most all of the staff were wearing masks indoors. However, one woman in particular still wore the mask around her neck and seemed resentful when I asked her to put it on. Apparently some of these housekeeping staff apparently have no idea of the seriousness of the covid situation or they just don't care. In any case, I would not stay at the Luxe again until there is some serious remedy for the mask situation. It is their responsibility to protect their guests and their staff, and I did not feel protected while we stayed at this hotel. If our own house was not being demoed, we would have left. As it was, we opted to stay in our room almost the entire month we were there.

Was at the Luxe for a LA Wine Club event this weekend, and really liked the pool area for an event. There was a lovely twinkle lit tree surrounded by cabanas, dance area, and a pool. Plenty of space for an event. The food was good. I didn't see the full menu, we had an abbreviated menu for our event. Their is valet parking out back by the pool so you don't have to walk all the way from the front lobby.

Pretty nice restaurant ambiance but not the food; lousy cappuccino!

Hit the hotel when they were renovating (wouldn't you know) but the restaurant was great: food and service were superb! The wait staff was especially helpful and attentive.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food all taking place in a beautiful setting either indoors or out. Gracious service.

Hotel restaurants often leave much to be desired and when I travel, I avoid them like the plague. So it's funny to be a local and have a hotel restaurant at the top of my list. Indoor and outdoor seating, beautiful surroundings and lovely food. Valet parking. Superbly trained service staff throughout the hotel. Great location between the Valley and the Westside. I've had three meals there in the last month and each was different and excellent. Beautiful bread basket, too.

stayed at the Luxe and had breakfast one morning.. very upscale a little too stuffy for a casual breakfast..but it is L.A. good food, very attentive staff

The menu sounded great, but even the salad was unexciting. All the right ingredients just didn't mesh, perhaps because the dressing wasn't great. The rest of the meal was fine, just not terrific, and the service was mediocre. We were advised to choose any table, and as soon as we did we were asked to move. We had to go chasing to find someone to take our check.

Last Thursday, my wife & I were headed South on the 405 when the traffic locked up solid. We took a quick exit and found that we were in front of the Luxe Hotel and the Sirocco Restaurant. What a nice find. Elegant service, beginning with the hotel valet, and continuing through all of the restaurant staff. The surroundings in the outdoor dining area were very pleasant and refined, a wonderful change from our hectic driving schedule on the freeway. We both started with soups, a gazpacho for me, a creamed asparagus for her. Next came the Seared Salmon with kale and mashed potatoes, and a Grilled Turkey Sandwich and Salad. All items were nicely prepared and presented, and best of all,, tasted wonderful. We definitely will mark this establishment for a return visit.

I ate several breakfasts and one dinner while i was staying at the Luxe. Breakfast was good with prompt service and generous helpings. My one dinner, a fish dish, was ok but nothing special. I would not go out of my way to dine there. However, service was excellent.

The Luxe chain serves the luxury market well without taking on the 6 stars head on. Their Sunset location is especially convenient to the westside, beaches and malibu while attractions to the east are also easy to reach like Beverly Hills. Food service is very good. Rooms seem nice, haven't stayed as a guest, but have held events here. A nice choice with great access to the 405 both No and So.

One of the best meals I've had in LA was at the lovely little restaurant in The Luxe hotel on Sunset. Gorgeous sanctuary fell to the whole place, excellent service and the Lobster Ravioli is killer, the best Rosemary laced mushroom soup I've ever run across and even the Caesar salad was top notch and extremely flavorful. Was staying in the hotel, so had their breakfast as well, and it too, was excellent. You can't go wrong here!

We have stayed here 3 times over the last 5 years. Rooms are clean and comfortable although checking in is a bit of a nightmare with parking. This hotel always seems busy so book ahead. Nice bar and pool area. A little far from the action on Sunset Blvd but you pass some insanely large houses in the cab ride.

Wonderful breakfast and the bar is also very good Wonderful selcection of drinks and the staff is very helpful and kind. They know how to upsale.....and I liked it. A very nice experience at the bar.

I have had several meetings at the Luxe and last week I ate a quick breakfast beforehand. We only had 45 minutes in which to eat. The Luxe was a great spot for our purposes. The dining room is small, but the service is quick and the food is tasty. Bonus, the previous time I ate breakfast there Tom Hanks was at the table next to mine.

The room was great design so modern , very spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and committed with their jobs. Great Location.

The restaurant is small but inviting inside the Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel. There is inside and outside tables. They have a full bar. Ate there twice for dinner and both meals were quite special. The salmon and the cauliflower potatoes were very nice. I'd have them again. The wait staff was professional and accommodating.

Very large burger didnt notice much difference between the Kobe and the normal ground beef. Very delicious but I would hope so for $16.

On Sunset is a unique dining experience. With both inside and outside dining options suitable for any time of the year. The menu is diverse and service is great. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there during our recent stay and were not disappointed. All of the meals were great, especially the salads.

I hosted wedding at the Luxe Hotel a couple of months ago and food and the service were amazing. The Luxe had the most polite wait staff that I've ever seen at a large event. The Luxe was expensive but worth it. If you aren't hosting a large event, I recommend the restaurant for lunch, dinner and brunch.

Lovely setting--inside and out. Every kind of food you can think of. Free-flowing mimosas. The best brunch ever!

Thank you Luxe hotel for taking care of me and my dog. The luxe hotel is extremely clean and high class. I also want to give a special thank you to jessica. This is my hotel of choice even as a resident of los angeles. The rooms are big, well decorated, and most importantly clean.

Zen happiness and all a persons needs taken care of at a superior level. Tucked away from main road. lots of privacy. relaxing...delicous, delightful, and they were there for us.

We stayed at the hotel several nights and had breakfast and dinner there several times. We enjoyed every meal as the food was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. Atmosphere is simple but elegant with outdoor seating when weather permits. Service was friendly but sometimes our waiter seemed to disappear for awhile.

Enjoyed dining on the patio. Their menu is very limited (only 8 choices) between 2-5 pm but our waiter accommodated our request and let us order off the lunch menu.

I was expecting more from a Luxe Hotel. The room was old and musty and the whole hotel felt a bit dated. Great patio outside my room with lounge chairs and a small table. Service was excellent at the front desk. Stayed at the Luxe Downtown LA, which was a much better experience.

We stayed at the Luxe last week, and ate at the restaurant a couple of times for breakfast. An omelette is $16, but it was good (it came with potatoes and toast). The service was fair. The waiter forgot that we ordered muffins, so we never got them -- but they charged us for them. They did take them off the bill when I brought it to his attention. I did have a little 'spill' of my coffee when we tried to push the table out, where the waiter didn't offer me another napkin or even another cup of coffee. (Perhaps he thought I'd spill it.) My son ordered an ice tea, but he brought an orange juice. We were going to do the Sunday brunch, but it was $55/person - so we decided to go someplace else. It did look very fancy and quite exquisite for brunch.

Very good food. Fresh air and gourmet. However- off the beaten path so make sure you know where you are going

Though a bit inconvenient to be shuttled up to rooms and no elevator for a second floor room, I loved the quiet elegance of the hotel. The beds are great, the shower hot and with adequate pressure. The staff are top notch and work hard to exceed expectations. A great change of pace from the large tower hotels where you get lost.

I liked everything, food, beverages, ambiance, service, price, and feeling like eating here is more about the entire experience than it is about any one thing--you will feel refreshed and renewed as well as sated after dining at On Sunset. Well worth the trip.

Stayed a couple of nights here. Very nice Lobby, restaurant and bar. Our room was nice and large but a little bit dated. Dim lighting lots of empty space but comfortable. Its obviously an older hotel but I would definitely stay here again.

I was seated promptly, served attentively, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the Luxe. The steak and sides were cooked to perfection and I'll be back.

This hotel is just south of the Getty and at the corner of Sunset and the 405 freeway. Reasonable cost for a boutique hotel. Was in a nice, large Clean room in the lower hotel. Was convenient and quiet. Bar was excellent.

Quiet. Excellent food. Elegant. Perfect place for a meeting where you actually need to hear what the other person is saying. No hassles. Just good service. Nice, sunny atmosphere. Lovely food.

Beautiful dining room, with outdoor or indoor seating. Decor is elegant and service flawless. Between lunch or dinner, the room looked luxurious yet warm, and the staff was just as attentive when I was alone as well as in a group. The menus are extensive as is the wine list, with a delicious variety of breads to start a meal. In spite of being busy, we were served promptly and food was nicely presented and tasty. Need to return for breakfast and Sunday brunch, and to visit the lounge!

The restaurant is in the Luxe hotel. Service was superb and the food was very good, although the menu is somewhat limited.

Had a family breakfast here. good ambiance, and food. a little pricey but your are in the luxury area of the city

Food quality is good. On the three times I ate there, it was cold, however. The egg white frittata was great!

We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Although excellent extremely expensive. There were many mistakes on the hotel bills, especially with parking charges. We felt like we were in a retail store. Every item in the hotel room had a price tag on it should we have chosen to take it with us. It was so bad that one friend asked the desk if there was an additional charge to finish a toilet tissue roll and have it replaced. Everything had a price tag on it! Really killed the experience but provided many laughs for all of us.

Eating at the Luxe felt like the terrace of a top level resort. Excellent food and service. Very pleasant.

Inside or outside-great atmosphere. Great food. !!

My boyfriend and I were planning a staycation and wanted to try out a new hotel in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area. We decided we were going to stay at the Luxe. We were torn between the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive and the Luxe Hotel on Sunset. We had the pleasure of booking our reservation with Edward. He was so helpful with assisting us in the process of deciding which hotel to choose. He very patiently spent time with us to go over the amenities of each hotel and things to do in the area. We decided to book at the Sunset property since it is a more secluded property and was near to the Getty that was suggested by Edward. It also helped that it had a swimming pool! The Hotel is beautiful and the rooms were a nice size. We really enjoyed laying out by the pool and the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. It makes you feel as if you are at a resort. The Luxe Sunset Hotel is a hidden gem that I think everyone should visit if they want a little getaway.

Our group of two couples went to the On Sunset Restaurant at the Luxe Hotel for dinner on a Saturday evening. Several have regular lunch meetings at the Luxe. Based on their very good lunch experiences, we had high hopes for the dinner outing. Alas, dinner at the Luxe was a huge disappointment. Although the dining room was almost empty, both the service and the meals were mediocre (at best). We will not return -- at least not for dinner.

So, maybe I am hard to please, but managing expectations is key in order to get people not to write bad reviews. This place is marketed as Luxe. I supposed it may have been in a different time and place. Beds were super uncomfortable. The door to the room was cracked. Mostly though, the traffic blasting by on one of the busiest freeways in America was the issue. Room facing freeway might have been a signal to the owner to install sound proof windows, however this notion obviously never dawned on them. The wall facing the freeway was built from the crummiest, cheapest glass and sliding door. Between the old, slumping bed and the massive traffic, the experience wasn't very luxe at all. Do not worry, the restaurant is pretty nice and there are lots of cool goodies in the mini bar. Bartender did a good job and the guy with the posh accent who checked us in was pretty Luxe.

Another surprising hotel lobby restaurant. Have wonderful food and listen to pitches for movie and TV scripts while you eat.

While staying at nearby Hotel Angeleno, we took a short walk on Sunset Blvd and decide to have lunch at the On Sunset Restaurant at the Luxe Hotel Sunset Blvd. We asked to be seated in the outdoor area. My spouse was disappointed with her appetizer but my sandwich was very good and the atmosphere was nice as well. Great service only a block from our hotel!

Cost may be LA costs, so as long as you go knowing that prices in LA are high, it is fine. The food (I had a continental breakfast), was very good and fresh. The coffee was delicious as was the fresh squeezed OJ. The service was great... attentive and nice.

I have eaten hear several times for breakfast and dinner and it's very good the only downside is that the service is very slow

We met up with another couple for lunch. Very pleasant and warm reception, from the parking valet to the host. Service was prompt and attentive. I guess there's just not much to be done about low-quality ingredients badly prepared. When I'm someplace I've never eaten before, I order carefully. What can be done to ruin a club sandwich? A lot, believe me. They even brought complimentary desserts for everyone. The desserts were pretty much inedible as well. Very nice staff and very nice to be with our friends. I'll never eat there again.

I LOVE staying at the Luxe on Sunset Blvd. and consider this my LA home base because of the convenience of family members who live in the immediate area (location, Great Restaurant (Food and Beverage), comfortable and spacious accommodations (cleanliness), value (saving $$), Pool and Gym (relaxation) put this altogether and you have a 5 star LA experience without the “hustle” and breaking the bank!! PS. Most important- it makes my wife HAPPY! I hope too return soon. Greg Del Mar, CA

The dining room at the Luxe Hotel is an oasis of quiet and dependable elegance, with “dependable” being in no way a putdown. We stayed at the Luxe for three consecutive nights, eating dinner and breakfast at On Sunset on all three days, and were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel and the dining room. The food could be described as middle-of-the-road California style, thankfully lacking in hyped-up trendiness. Fresh fish, fruits, and vegetables are in abundance, but fine-quality meats are available too. Here is what we had. First evening: Mussels with crème fraiche and shallots. Short rib risotto. Provence rack of lamb with polenta cake and caponata. Complimentary house red wine. The broth with the mussels was outstanding. The risotto contained a very generous amount of beef. Second evening: Maryland crab cakes. Bouillabaisse with scallops, halibut, prawns, and mussels in fennel saffron broth. Thyme roasted halibut with saffron orzo, ratatouille, and lemon caper sauce. Landmark Chardonnay. The bouillabaisse showed the downside of the California style, in our opinion. The seasoning of the broth was extremely subtle, but it really didn’t have to be that subtle; it seemed more vegetable broth than rich fish stock and ended up being boring. The halibut was cooked perfectly and the lemon caper sauce was delicious. Third evening: Endive and pear salad with St. Agur blue cheese (from the Auvergne), arugula, and candied walnuts. Lemon roasted salmon with “forbidden rice,” broccoli, tomato confit, and ginger beurre. Steak frites with aged New York sirloin, chimichurri, and shoestring fries. Malbec. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Our third evening was a Saturday and the dining room was booked with private events. As hotel guests we were served in the lounge, since the restaurant was closed to nonguests. It made no difference. The service and quality were every bit as good as on previous evenings, even though we were dining at the same time as the large private party. Service at both dinner and breakfast conformed to the same high standards of attentiveness and professionalism as maintained throughout the hotel. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Luxe and recommend it highly.

The breakfast here was of good quality and reasonably priced. We did not have dinner here but the menu looked good.

Think of the best customer service in the hospitality industry, think of Luxe Hotel. You can tell a family like culture of the company is instilled in the way they treat their guests. I felt that they genuinely cared about my comfort, safety, and experience. The hotel is clean, decorated with the finest, and luxurious! I highly recommend this place to be at a prime location for all things to see and visit in LA! Good place for business meetings as well!

We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was perfect! Huge room and bathroom! We were upgraded for free, which was a nice touch. The decor was luxurious. The staff were very friendly. I recommend hiring a car if you stay here as its not walking distance to anything. The breakfast was 5 * and cooked beautifully. A star spotting hotel (we saw a few famous people)

This hotel was absolutely the best. From the room, to the service, the staff, and the location, it is a must for us when visiting LA again to stay here

This is our family go to for Mother's Day and Father's Day - great Jazz band and super variety of fresh food - waiters/waitresses are very attentive and super friendly and professional. A bit pricy, but oh so worth it! Go with a BIG appetite!

Great food and good service. Also very good hours. The staff was very professional. A good place to eat.

What a place, where to begin from start to finish they could not do more for us. It was my wife’s birthday and they got a dozen red roses 🌹 in the room for when we got back from our lovely day out.

We had breakfast 3 mornings in the hotel. It is waiter service and the food was very good. The fresh fruit platter was very large and the fruit delicious. Service was good and the eggs cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a nice quiet ambience.

The brunch and breakfast food and service were excellent, well prepared to our liking. Excellent coffee every time!

Great food, fantastic service and the chance to celeb spot! I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger and Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) there!

Have had more trips to Luxe lately and I really think it has a great LA feel and still a reasonable price. I like the restaurant a lot too. Rooms vary- spring for the ones near the pool- and a small balcony. Four posters are especially romantic.

Serivce was excellent --and the waiter knew the menu very well and was able to make good recommendations. We went for breakfast and were very impressed with the food. The "design your own" omelet was wonderful, and you could choose toast, or English muffin, bagel -- and I asked if they had a crossent -- he said yes-- and it was excellent. Service was fast and very accommodating -- the waiter came over to replenish the coffee, and making sure we were pleased with our order.

We were invited for a Bar Mitzvah dinner that any bride would of been happy for a wedding. Appetizers were great, lamb chops, Grill cheese and tomato soup in a shot glass, sushi, and so much more. We loved the entrance and low key entrance with great personel for valet, waiters and all. The location is great and and we will recommend the hotel for friends and family. Great location really nice vibe.

We had a very nice lunch here today. We both had the super food salad with seared tuna. Edamame avocado quinoa mixed greens. Very good!

Always fine food, carefully prepared to order. Pleasant surroundings and great service, especially Eddie and Enrique. Reasonably priced for a West Side hotel restaurant. The menu is compact, but enough choices for all tastes. Breakfast is fine, with fresh fruit and good sourdough bread.

This lovely hotel has spacious rooms, nice dining & a very good staff. We enjoy our stays several times a year. Executive suites are very large & include seating area & Spacious bath with separate shower. Rates are really reasonable. Hotel is perfectly Situated at Sunset & Hwy 405. Highly recommended.

Quite possibly the worst dinning expereince of my entire life. They ruined Valentine's Day dinner for us. Service was bad, constomer service was non-existant, and the food was bad. They should just close the doors and go home-FOREVER!!!! Do not go here EVER.

Homemade warm bread, tapenade, outdoor courtyard seating with white lights, solidly prepared meals without being too fancy for their own good. Happy hour with live music and extremely friendly staff/crowd make it feel like you're visiting a small town, not a faceless big city.

My partner and I had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel and we were not disappointed! For $30 we had a large bowl of hot oatmeal with lots of super fresh and juicy fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and Californian raisins), a stack of fresh pancakes served with fresh blueberries, bananas and hot maple syrup, a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, a latte and a cup of tea. Delicious breakfast out on the shaded terrace, great service and great value for money! Make the most of what's on the doorstep if staying at this hotel!

it's adequate for a hotel, nice location. mainly, i thought the sunday buffet brunch was far below luxury standards. for that, go especially to the 4 seasons or peninsula. the luxe has a nice little jazz trio playing at brunch. 4 seasons is an untouchably great sunday buffet, just unbelievable.
Overall very good!
Experience was very nice. Slightly slow considering I was the only person at the restaurant with my 5:00 reservation, but server and hostess were exceedingly kind and I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind. Food wasn't the best meal of my life, but excellently prepared and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal (Chicken breast also recommend the Avalon Cabernet wine). The hotel is a bit out of the way, but if you're in the area, would definitely recommend!
