I went to dinner with friends on Saturday night at Oregano in Williamsburg. This was my first time and it definitely will not be my last! This restaurant was fantastic! Super intimate and cozy. We tried 6 different dishes including some specials of the evening which were all equally delicious! I genuinely enjoyed every dish. My favorites had to be the Black Linguine w/Lobster and the specialty pizza we ordered. We had two bottles of great Processco and we also had two desserts, the strawberry cheesecake was perfect and the Nutella Pizza was seriously soooooo good. I can not wait to return to enjoy another great meal. The owner, Rena, was a gracious and super kind host which made our experience that much more enjoyable!

We went there as a family of 4 and arrived later in the evening. The restaurant is small with a good ambience. We all ordered sthg different. What a treat ! Pasta were homemade, the presentation in big plates was very good and all of our dishes were fantastic ( and I tend to be picky ). We finally were the last ones and I think it was the owner or manager ? who came to talk to us, and explained about the food in a very friendly manner. We loved everything about the restaurant and would go back in a heartbeat if we lived close by !

Nice place, awesome food, friendly staff, highly recommended, good service, will definitely go back again!

We had a lovely evening at Oregano. Food was good, wine was ok. Liked the neighborhood. Would go back.

I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! Candlelit tables, Italian music and the smell of garlicky goodness makes you feel cozy and relaxed. The service was super friendly and the food is delicious. I ate the gnocchi caprese and my date had the Tartufata pizza with mushrooms. YUM! Totally hit the spot. Be sure to try the desserts - the tiramisu is to die for. Also, I found out the restaurant is NOT BYOB. They have plenty of beer and wine options to choose from. Enjoy!! Definitely worth the try.

Very nice Italian restaurant. pizza, fresh pasta, salads and good dessert. We enjoyed pasta with gambas, spinach salad as a starter and tiramisu... I will return very HAPPILY ... We ate at the bar just outside the restaurant ... it was nice and the food excellent ... 10/10

This restaurant is amazing and so is everyone who works at this eatery. We had thrown a few parties in the back and they took care of everything from decorations to food, they made sure all the guests were completely satisfied. I was so pleased with how big the place is opposed to just looking in. Great little staple in the middle of Williamsburg where you always feel like you're getting a home cooked meal which leaves you feeling full and satisfied. The menu is very fairly priced for the neighborhood and everyone is so attentive. I insist that you check this place out next time you are in the area, they truly are amazing.

We just had a delicious dinner at Oregano. Friendly staff, good pizza and salad, and a very attractive place. Easy to get to from the L train.

Average pizza nothing special sums it up... rude service and attitude from the main white guy working the front. YuP.. ... expected more from you brooklyn

Great food - we ordered Zafron risotto and eggplant parmigiana - both delicious Mario the waiter was amazing , also Florence , both very willing to please Wonderful , will come back any time

Located in "yup and coming" Williamsburg this cozy and busy open Kitchen dining room sports a simple but enticing menu. There's a wide variety in food choices and the specials are plentiful and creative. The mussels appetizer is submerged in a hearty tomato base that has a nice "zing" to it. Black fettuccine with lobster tasted like an herb garden with generous amounts of claw and tail. Pasta with arugula and cherry tomatoes was tasty with plenty of shrimp. Wine choices are limited but the overly friendly waitress let us sample until we found one we liked.

We ordered the Portobello mushrooms for starters (we shared this portions between two) and we shared the pepperoni pizza. We were let down slightly by the taste and quality after reading all the great reviews here. I have had better pizza elsewhere in NYC.

Great Italian food! I had the gnocci caprese which was very tasty. I definitely recommend the tiramisu! Staff is also very friendly.

Difficult to understand the average good rating for this restaurant. Service was poor. When we asked for some recommendation about some local beers listed in the menu, the young waiter answered us that he did not know because he did not drink... About the food, a very standard pizzza

My favorite spot for great food and excellent service! I love the intimate cozy feel and the owner Rena is a sweetheart. She came over to our table and made us feel like family. I love the specials and you have to try the Nutella pizza!

Every time we go to New York we make sure we dine here. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere casual and authentic, the service is great, and the opportunity to bring your wine (they don't sell any at the restaurant, but there is a wine shop across the street) means you get to drink what you want to drink. Highly recommended for a quaint, cosy, tasty dining experience.

Probably our best eating experience in NY. Food was all excellent and the staff wonderful, particularly Rena and George! I would highly recommend it.

Went for a late lunch when the place was relatively empty. And the "All Meat" pizza I had was absolutely superb. Besides having the perfect chewy yet lightly-crisped crust, the topping was extremely generous. And surprisingly enough...after polishing off the entire thing in less than 15 minutes...I didn't feel bloated or overstuffed. Best pizza I have eaten so far. But heading off to Juliana's or Roberta's for a fair comparison.

For our final evening dinner of our Brooklyn July 4th vacation we had a wonderful meal, sharing the tomato/mozzarella caprese salad followed by the squid ink pasta with lobster for me and the saffron risotto for him. Both dishes were mouth-watering deliciousness, just terrific! Finished up with an unusual desert with a cookie-crumb crust with just a touch of saltiness, topped by ice cream, very tasty and refreshing. We had read about the garden tables and really enjoyed the grape arbor and pleasant night air. We would definitely return to Oregano's next time we're in Williamsburg, where it was fun to stroll after dinner.

The name Oregano alone makes me think of pizza. Delicious pizza! Crust is crispy, just the right amount of oil and sauce and seasonings. Mozzarella is creamy melty and oh sooooo good. It was worth the wait.

Hidden treasure, so quick and easy to get to from Manhattan! The truffle pizza is a must and definitely going back for the Salmon!!

This place has great food and vibes. Staff is friendly and professional, this is my new hangout spot. Highly recommend this place if you want to relax and have a good time.

The place looks unassuming and quaint, and pizza is amazing! Prosciutto, fig and goat cheese pizza is to die for and the squid ink pasta with lobster stole my heart. My husband had the pesto and it was light and perfectly filling. I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years and the food has only gotten more and more amazing under the current owner, who will make you feel like family!

While I didn’t eat there, the Manager was a gem of a guy when answering my questions about other options to best suit my dining goals for the night. In the end, had I not been so late in getting out for dinner, I’m sure Oregano would have ticked the boxes to a T given my experience. When I get back to Williamsburg, Oregano will be on my list to try.

If I could give this 7-stars I would. What was supposed to be a casual birthday dinner turned into an unexpectedly amazing night. Food-wise, the four of us started with the bruschetta and mushroom apps. Both really solid. I got the oregano pizza. As a huge za'atar fan, this might have been my favorite pizza toppings-wise I've ever had. The labneh is what really pulls it together. The pizza itself was very high quality. I was sitting next to a spaghetti carbonara aficionado. Its her litmus test at every Italian restaurant (and she's been to many). She said this was top-3 in the city. The four cheese gnocchi was out of this world. I only had a bite of the birthday boy's dish, but the gnocchi melted in my mouth and the cheeses were blended to perfection. Lastly, the chicken parm was supposedly excellent as well. We were all incredibly satisfied by our meals. At the table next to us were two women who had mouth-watering looking dishes as well. One of them was controlling the music in the restaurant. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but she put on a song we requested, and we all started clapping and then dancing. Turns out she was the owner! She refilled our drinks, and brought out a birthday tiramisu with a HUGE sparkler. Just look at how happy the birthday boy is - the picture says it all! We ended up hanging out at the restaurant for several more hours. The owner, her friend and the staff were so much fun. Even a spilt glass of red wine and a ruined dress couldn't stop us. My face actually hurt from smiling and laughing so much. It was one of those magical hospitality moments that will stick with you for a long time. I'm certain you won't replicate our experience - and frankly, we couldn't either if we tried - but no matter what, this place is worth the visit.

Small but very nice place! Probably the best pizza I've ever had! You might want to have a plan B in case there's no spare tables, since a lot of people had to wait or leave for the lack of tables. Don't get me wrong being small is the charm of this place and adds to it!

Oregano is a marvelous Italian Restaurant!! It is lovely with reminders of Italy in a sweet setting. It has an outdoor garden filled with flowers and trees! The food is fresh /the pastas HOMEMADE daily, and selection marvelous. Chicken Marsala, Eggplant parm, Cheeses, soups, salads---- all fresh and delicious. The Pizzas are phenomenal !! This is Williamsburg"s best little Italian spot! The wines are all yummy too. Tony and crew are wonderful!!! Treat yourself to a real Italian meal !!!

The best Italian restaurant in Williamsburg BK!!! Amazing food!!! (try the vegan menu, highly recommended!!!) great stuff!!! Cool and funny owner - Rena. Definitely you will see me again! If I could I will easily give ten stars

I came here with my friends and had some of the best pizza I have had since I lived in Sienna. They have an amazing wood fire oven, and the pizza crust is just perfect! Also my friend is gluten free and they were able to accommodate her with their gluten free options! She was so happy! Our server, Mark, was very knowledgeable about wine and was very friendly. Rena, the owner came by the table and spoke with us. She was super sweet. Our experience was very warm and inviting and the food was delicious! Will definitely go back! I highly recommend popping in and ordering the Fig, goat cheese and prosciutto pizza!

We are from London and have visited Williamsburg twice over the last two years. We originally stumbled across Oregano by accident a day after getting engaged and our experience was wonderful! I had been craving cannoli and they were able to offer it on this particular night which was wonderful! (It even arrived with a big 'congratulations' written in chocolate). Following this meal, we have visited the restaurant twice more and were extremely delighted with the food and the service! The lobster mac & cheese was absolutely to die for! Would love the chance to eat it again some day soon.

We liked the vibe as soon as we entered. Friendly, inviting, and the aroma of wonderful food. My wife and I shared a brussel sprout pizza (added sausage to make it legit) and a pasta dish. Fresh, tasty and a fun environment. The area is hopping with plenty of shops and other restaurants. Looking forward to going back for some other pizza selections. Great place!

Honestly at this point I believe that most of the reviews on socials are fake. This place it’s not even closed to be a good Italian restaurant. The pizza was not good (the dough was full of yeast and not well cooked) and the material used are not even real Italian ones (the prosciutto was very salty and thick, the burrata covered with balsamic glaze). The outside of the restaurant was really messy and uncomfortable (the engines of the ac were just in front of the tables). Needs big improvements

I have been to Oregano a few times for great dinner and great times with my friends and family. The Chicken Marsala is to die for as well as the other variety of options on the menu. The service is great, and the staff makes you feel at home. The location is very nice being right by many beautiful NYC views. And the cherry on top is definitely the great music and beautiful design both the interior and outdoor garden. I would definitely recommend Oregano to anyone wanting great Italian food in the heart of NY.

The food is OK but there's nothing special to recommend this place, given that there are dozens of better restaurants in the neighborhood. And it's small without being particularly charming.

Cute little place. Romantic and quant. WOW food was great. we ordered the capreze salad and pizza. Large portions. Amazing flavors. highly recommend you to eat here.

Loved this little place. Very busy. Especially when there is a hostess and one waitress hustling. Love the ambiance but it is pretty tight between tables. It is small. Make sure you make reservations because it fills up quickly. Pizza good and so was the bolognese, I thought sauce was on the sweeter side than I normally prefer but it was good and the portion was huge. Couldn’t finish it all. The Bruschetta was delicious.

This is a quaint little spot in Brooklyn with great food. Simple and spot on for a great little Italian place, the gnocchi and the Marsala were both awesome.

Oregano is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Williamsburg. The food is fresh, delicious and seasoned perfectly. I have several favorites. Fettuccine with arugula and shrimp, chicken marsala, stuffed mushrooms, artichoke ravioli and many more. The desserts are amazing. The tiramisu is the best I have ever had and they make the freshest and tastiest cannoli there is! The staff is friendly and service is excellent!

We came here for a quick dinner the first night we arrived in Brooklyn, we were fairly jet lagged and looking for somewhere cosy and delicious. This was right round the corner from us and came with great recommendations! We were not disappointed, fabulous food and great wine! Would defo come back when in Brooklyn again

We had eaten here before and loved it so much we chose it for our daughter's wedding dinner. The staff is very warm and accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy and lovely. The food is sensational. Owner Rena should be named a national treasure!

5 of us went for dinner tonight and when we got there at 6:00 we were told that they needed our table at 6:45 so we sat down. It took forever for them to take our order. House salad and Caprese we're good. We had Squid ink fettuccine fra diavalo that was supposed to be spicy which was pretty bland. A pasta with clams in a "garlic" sauce was bland as well. The cavatelli w sausage and broccoli rab was good as was the scallop special but our dishes took forever to come and the check did as well. Also, we sat in the back and the outside door was repeatedly opened so we froze. With all of the restaurant choices in the area we will go elsewhere next time.

My cousin took us here and promised the best pizza ever. Now, I had many pizzas and just coming from Chicago, I was a bit doubtful that Oregano would live up to the expectation. I was delighted to be proven wrong and Oregano really delivered. They use real stone oven for their pizzas and they are delicious! Crust is amazing, and ingredients fresh and tasty. Although restaurant is really busy, everybody is friendly and smiling and service is superb. We were sitting outside, in the small courtyard and it was really amazing dining experience. We are definitely in love in Oregano and we will keep coming for more. Oh, and to enhance the experience, order some extra black pepper for your dish - Oregano has the most impressive pepper mill I have ever seen!

The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal, the hostess was very friendly and welcoming! Also it had a nice ambiance, I really liked the style of the restaurant. When I went I had the four cheese pizza which was delicious and I would defiantly go back again if I ever want great authentic Italian meal!

Live in the neighborhood and when we are craving for italian, this spot is always considered. Nothing special, but everything that comes out is excellent. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommended. Pizza is also very good.

Great food, the lasagna and penne a la vodka was fantastic! The service was on point and the ambiance was lively yet family friendly. I would definitely go back and would recommend this place for all to try.

Great food .. fresh and delicious, totaly will be back..... best pizza I have ever try...service very polite.. 5 stars..

I just returned to the US from Napoli - but felt that the dishes at Oregano had magically teleported me back there! The home-made pasta is remarkably fresh and light (as is the bread), the tomato sauce is simply indescribable, and the eggplant parmigiana could be the best in the world (it's certainly on the short list). And with many of the entrees hovering around $20, this all counts as a steal in New York. The wine list is short but authentically Italian; the tiramisu was scrumptious. I understand they don't take reservations, so waits are long at peak hours. But do yourself a favor and go early or late.

Nestled in the heart of Williamsburg, where it can be obnoxious is this place that offers delicious food and service with a smile. The hostess on Saturday nights serves your food with an abundance of personality. The bus boys go above and beyond to accommodate. The place has an open kitchen so you can view exactly what's being served and when your food is arriving. Excellent food, excellent service, cozy place, and a good selection of music plays while you eat. Oregano has earned my business.

I've visited "Oregano" countless times, have brought friends there from all over the world, and it's always been an enjoyable experience -with excellent food and great service! So when it was time to order food for a recent milestone birthday party to be held in my home, there was no question that I'd choose "Oregano"! I ordered my favorite dish - their signature eggplant parmesan - along with several others that the proprietor recommended and would travel well. Needless to say, all of my guests were extremely pleased, and I was thrilled! I highly recommend "Oregano" for lunch, dinner or brunch - the restaurant has a very "Brooklyn" feel (although the menu is up-to-date, with many vegetarian options); the homemade pasta dishes and pizzas are creative, with many daily specials; there is a large wine selection; and an attractive new bar was recently installed. And in addition to whatever else you order, be sure to have the eggplant parmesan!

Oregano is always one of our go-to restaurants when visiting Brooklyn. My wife, adult son, and I once again ordered the Black Fettuccine with Lobster. As noted, all their pastas are handmade on the premises. Our meals were predictably delicious. As much as we enjoyed this dish, we'll return to other entrees on next visit. Chocolate Souffle and Tiramisu for dessert. Excellent. The owner and host of Oregano, Rena, is a warm, gracious person who delights in seeing her customers enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is casual, but it has a style, exemplified by the old Coca Cola machine in the rear of the restaurant. Wine selection not large but what well suited to the menu. If you want delicious Italian food in a friendly, unhurried atmosphere, served by people who care about the experience you seek, you will be very pleased with Oregano. If you are attending an evening event at National Sawdust nearby, check out Oregano for dinner beforehand. Follow it up with a couple of stiff mugs of coffee.

Oregano’s recently added vegan menu is chock-full of absolutely delicious pizzas, calzones, pastas and desserts. Every single menu item we ordered was absolutely mouthwatering, Including their specialty vegan dessert pizza with heavenly chocolate and fresh strawberries. The ambience is delightful and the prices are quite reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant for vegans and non-vegans alike, and we will definitely be back again soon!

Me and my boyfriend went to Brooklyn with low expectations about the food. Oregano was a great surprise! My boyfriend sad the Margheritta Pizza was the best he had ever eaten in US. I asked for a DELICIOUS Shrimp fetuccine. Don't skip dessert, the nutella pizza is worth every calorie!

Phoned for reservation and told they were closing early of staff party. No problem. Got there early and table was ready for us. Great vibe. Manager was running whole restaurant with just one other. No fuss no flap just very professional. Order wine and food together. Didn’t take long to arrive. Really good pasta and pizzas. Great wine Good desserts and all in all a really nice place. Hope you all had a great Halloween party and thanks for fitting us in.

We got there around 6pm and there was plenty of space (usually it’s packed). We shared a shatter of burrata and fig salad, i had a carbonara and my husband had spaghetti meatballs, it was so delicious. I can’t recommend this place more.

Ordered a pizza magarita and a nutella pizza...oh dear, let me tell you: both were freakin amazing! I like to order the classy magarita pizza when I eat at Italian restaurants because if they don't do it right, most of their other food sucks. At Oregano, they made everything right. Will be back soon!

“Oregano” has become one of my favorite neighborhood dining spots! The restaurant is warm and welcoming yet unpretentious. Food is consistently well prepared, all pastas are homemade, and the pizzas are outstanding! Wide selection of appetizers and entrees, and great daily specials! (My favorite is the eggplant parmesan.) Lots of choices for non-meat eaters. I always look forward to going, and bringing friends from out-of-town or overseas who want to experience great Italian-American cuisine!

The restaurant has a nice and chill vibes. A garden in the back and colorful decor that puts you in the mood for a drink. Though I did not have their pizza, I have a feeling they are better than the pastas. My radiator pesto was cooked just right though Everyone is very friendly and kind and good spirited. Sat at the bar for dinner and it was a pleasant experience.

I genuinely have not had a worse dining experience in my 8 years of living in New York. I’m leaving this as a warning for others. * My friend called at 5pm on a Saturday fully not expecting to get a reservation but they said that they had room in the back garden and we were thrilled! We were nervous about the rain but the manager/owner assured us it was covered and the rain would not be an issue. My other friend called an hour later to add another guest and was once again assured the back garden was fully covered. An hour and a half into our meal (mind you we had ordered 4 pastas and a vegan pizza - which they didn’t even have vegan cheese left for - but at this point had only appetizers and one pizza for 7 people) it started pouring and sure enough the roof started leaking on the 15+ people out there. We asked a food runner and server what to do and they both shrugged and said they weren’t sure… God forbid they get a manger who could tell them what to do. * When we moved inside they offered us a table in the front outside area, where it was also fully leaking. Instead of making a fuss we asked to leave as there was no reason to get soaking wet while eating. The manager was likely too embarrassed to admit that she had messed up and instead sent the poor host (who was lovely and very helpful!) back and forth to deliver her message that she was expecting us to pay full price for a meal we never even experienced. After working in restaurants for 6 years I was shocked that an *owner* would put a young host in that position because she didn’t want to deal with doing her job. It was actually unbeliebable to witness and I hope the host is okay. * In the end we paid for what we ate after fighting with the owner for 20 minutes ($25 each for a subpar caesar salad and bruschetta and okay wine) and left. Her overall take was that we were being unreasonable, not to mention the fact that she lied to our faces and insisted that she had not told us that the outside was covered. At that point why even lie? Smaller issues: * The server brought us over a bottle of wine and didn’t give us a taste to verify if we liked it, for the price point ($50) it’s commonplace to do that with any customer and made us feel like we were in the wrong to say we didn’t like it. * When we first were sat outside, the bench at the already awkwardly setup table was completely wet and dirty, and when we asked for napkins to sit on we were simply told “no.” At that point we considered leaving but we were hungry enough to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just having a tough night. When we were moved to the front and expressed our frustration that we had been told we could sit outside fully covered he simply said it wasn’t his problem. In the end we had a completely frustrating night, I cannot recommend enough to avoid this place like the plague. Anywhere that is desperate enough to make extra money to the point where they’ll lie to customers is not worth going to. You can get better pizza anywhere in Brooklyn and not have to deal with horrible and degrading customer service.

It was so good I had to go back twice during my short trip to New York. I had the bolognese pasta and penne a la vodka for dinner. I can't think of any criticism to give to either of the dishes, both were amazing and I finished the whole plate. The portions were great sizes and at a great price. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere during my meal.

A relatively small but quite pleasant restaurant, we were fortunate to get a very late seating and were greeted with warmth. A young clientele was enjoying the place and we did immensely. We tried a few pizzas the margherita, the parma and the alla carne, all excellent with the margherita, in its simplicity and very good ingredients (the dough was done perfectly, the mozzarella extremely fresh and the sweet tomato sauce just great). We also had the bruschetta (with an interesting contrast of warm bread and cold sliced tomato topping) the mussels (the only thing we did not find particularly well executed as the mussels were quite small and some bread would have been nice for the dip) the melanzane parmigiana were instead to kill for. A decent value when it came to the bill.

Our visit to the restaurant was a very nice surprise in a cold day in Brooklyn. The food and the wine were delicious.

Amazing pizza + Tiramisu. The service was great and attentive, we loved spending our time at this little place in brooklyn.Additionally the prices were not that expensive. All in all just a great expierence

We ventured to Brooklyn for a family meal and were surprised by the range of choice We plumped for this small, cosy restaurant as it offered a good range of food options We found it really great in terms of service attention and quality of food. The restaurant was very accommodating and we enjoyed a relaxed meal at our pace. The food was very good...simple well cooked but not fancy. Perfect for family The waitress was very kind and supportive The place had a good buzz and vibe which summed up Brooklyn. Trendy but not over done Loved it

We were so impressed once, we had to go back. A couple of pizzas and a salad, with the vodka salmon gnocchi and a few wines. Perfect. First time we sat inside not realising there was a garden out back. We returned a week later for dinner and sat out back which was very nice. Great pizza, friendly staff and FRESH produce. Not the cheapest place but quality is what you want. Will be back again all the way from down under.

My wife and son had dinner early May. Though every item on menu (Monday) looked great (and we have ordered several on an earlier occasion), we all chose the Black Fettuccine with Lobster. As menu notes, their pastas are made daily in house. Entrees were well prepared. Delicious. Tiramisu for dessert. Also excellent. Not a large wine selection but what we had worked well with entrees. This is a small, neighborhood style restaurant. Atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming but the food is the draw. We were served by the owner who worked hard to make our evening an enjoyable one. Prices are reasonable. We would gladly have paid more for food as good as we find at Oregano.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant. The best homemade spaghetti and meatballs ever. Wonderful service ! Highly recommended

The title says it all, really. If you like a mellow and soft dinner experience, in comfortable lighting and atmosphere, with good prices and nice staff, this is the place for you. I would recommend the pepperoni pizza added with basil. Also A LOT of gluten free options.

We went for dinner here last week. We felt like we were treated as family. The service was impeccable. The food was mouth watering. The truffle pizza was to die for! The salmon was flavorful. This is a restaurant I will surely be returning to, especially with my friends and family. Thank you to Rena and her team for a fun night. Oh, and they have a beautiful garden outside for summer dining!

This was hands down the BEST Italian food I've had! The staff was super friendly and fun! The restaurant is cozy but that just added to the atmosphere. They made room for our party of 3, so there was no wait time to be seated. I had the shrimp fettuccine.... It was rich and creamy and by far my favorite! I will definitely be back next time I'm on the east coast. A shout out to Jorge and Mario for the exceptional service! !

I'm a really big fan of this place. They have all the classic Italian dishes as well as top notch brick oven pizza. The owner is a really nice guy who is always there and the staff are super friendly.

We stumbled upon this family-owned Italian restaurant after touring the Brooklyn Brewery. Excellent homemade pasta and wood-fired pizzas in a cozy atmosphere. Friendly, attentive service without being overbearing. Very affordable for an evening out in Brooklyn.

We went here as part of a large family group for dinner. We sat outside.Unfortunately service was a bit slow. The menu is simple essentially being pizza and pasta. The wine list was quite extensive. So a pleasant experience

Amazing cosy restaurant with fantastic food, friendly staff and perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend 😋

Oregano is a great, small, local restaurant! We didn’t have reservations, so we had a 20 minute wait, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere of this neighborhood Italian restaurant was wonderful, with a pleasant wait staff that made everyone feel as though they had stopped in at their Italian relatives’ house for a family meal. I had some of the best gluten free (homemade) pasta ever. The whole time we dined there, the delivery person came and went nonstop with to-go orders—always a good sign. We enjoyed the food so much, the next night we picked up pizzas. Delicious! I ordered a gluten free pizza that was one of the best I’be ever had! This was an iconic Brooklyn experience!

I love this place. The food is always fresh, and delicious. No complaints. Welcoming, and friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for Italian so we came to Oregano because of the high reviews on trip advisor. It was a cozy spot with genuine New York pizza, excellent bruschetta and tasty wine. It is a nice date spot. The food is not overpriced. I'd definitely come back.

Oregano was close to our accommodations and rated well so we gave it a try. It was very good! We enjoyed a flatbread with some sort of pesto to start. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and my wife had eggplant parmigiana. Both dishes were excellently prepared and surprisingly light. The pasta and tomato sauce was very fresh. Service was attentive and good.

It has been a couple of years since we have been to Oregano and it was as good as remembered. The Italian preparation is amazing, as is the freshness and the taste of the food. You have to have the Nutella pizza for dessert. Amazing. Make suer to go early and sit on the patio. It is the best place to be.

First time at Oregano today. Pizza was amazing and staff was friendly and quick. It had a feeling of family. Perfect date spot as well as place to have a party. Hidden jewel in Williamsburg.

I love this restaraunt so much!I can eat here everyday ,my favorite pasta is gnocci four cheese, tartufata pizza, and penne siciliano. I love stuff here, very friendly and owner shes such a nice person!Cant wait to come again!!

Fresh but basic and not really tasty. We waited a Long Time to be served and the main course was basic. The pizza seemed to be good but we choose the pasta. The backyard is nice and quiet. Anyway, little bit desappointed!

This experience was by far the best i’ve had in brooklyn!! The restaraunt was very busy so i wanted to see what all the fuss was about. As soon as i walked in the scent of the fresh food excited me as well as the ambience. When we sat, we ordered the truffle pizza and oregano pizza for the table. My entree was the homemade lobster ravioli, the food was already delicious but then i asked for pepper... the waitress (staff was very kind) comes over with a giant pepper shaker!!! Me and my friends still laugh to this day. For dessert we ordered a nutella pizza which was heaven! Probably the best part was when they sang happy birthday to my friend. Most definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality and fun in williamsburg.

Ordered the Williamsburg pizza, house salad, and lasagna bolognese. The lasagna was great! Slightly burnt on top with cheese melted and oozy, the pizza was good too. The house salad was better than I was expecting !

Hungry after a day of sightseeing and based on Tripadvisor's app we headed to Oregano for an early 6pm dinner. By the time we emerged three hours later we'd had a tasty meal, with great service, complimented with the best wine we'd tasted during a week long vacation in New York. The staff are warm and welcoming, plus you get a great view of Oregano's wood fired pizza oven doing it's business relentlessly in the kitchen. Thank you Tripadvisor contributors for sharing this little gem and for Oregano for doing what you do with a smile on your face.

We were there with a advice from other friend, and it worse it! Everything’s was good , food is great and service was excellent!

We went to Oregano based on the reviews. I was expecting so much more and went to the restaurant because of the reviews. The pizza we had was fine but nothing great. The service was fine but nothing more and there was no ambience. I'm not sure if my expectations are high based on the overall quality that I am used to when I go out but don't think that this is a venue that anyone needs to go out of the way to visit.

My wife and I live in north Williamsburg, a few blocks from Oregano and this is our staple. We go here every week and out of all the wonderful restaurants in our neighborhood this one is probably the most reliable, delicious and affordable one. Tony, the owner and his staff not only deliver incredible pasta dishes and brick oven pizzas but the specials are always insanely good. YOU MUST GET THE STUFF MUSHROOMS if they're on the specials. Truly a gem of north williamsburg!

This is a very busy restaurant and I arrived just as the lunchtime rush was coming to an end. The pizzas here are amazing, with plenty of toppings provided. I'd definitely return!

Found this Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Experience did not differ from the reviews, good pizza and pasta. Nice cosy place with friendly staff. Caution, they have stopped offering BYO couple of months back, which is a pity as there is a great wine store across the street. Better selections than what is offered in the restaurant. Good value for money otherwise.

Cute little pizza shop down the street from the Brooklyn Brewery. There is only room for about 30 at most and has tight seating. We picked Oregano for the gluten free menu and options. They do offer GF pizza crust and pasta. We started off with an appetizer of mushroom,Gorgonzola, and arugula with balsamic vinegar glaze. This was delicious and a great way to start the meal. My husband and I shared the pepperoni pizza on gluten free crust. This is easily the right size to eat by yourself, or to try a few different topping with others. The crust is thin crust unlike the regular pizza crust. I’m pretty sure it is the typical Udi’s frozen crust and it was just blah. Since it’s the Neapolitan style in a super hot pizza oven, the outer crust was burnt and not edible. Nothing the pizza place can do since it is such a thin crust. The sauce tasted good and the thick cut pepperoni was yummy, but the crust just brought it all down. For gluten eaters, the pizza looked tasty and you should stop by. Gluten free peeps, try somewhere else.

Food was good. I thought a little pricey. Cozy place. Overall not a bad experience but not memorable either.

As a ridiculously picky eater who married a "foodie" it isn't easy to find a restaurant we both agree on. Not in this case -- oregano is the best of both worlds for us. I had the chicken parm with pasta and may I say one of the best I've ever had, which is saying a lot since chicken parm is a staple in my childish diet. My husband had a amazing pizza with smoked salmon and capers, not my style but I may say it looked amazing. The salmon was the perfect color cut evenly and delicately, oregano was not cheap on the salmon either. To make matters even better the tables are all lighten up by lanterns to set a beautiful romantic atmosphere. The decor is Superb. There is no denying Oregano is proud of its trending location on berry street-- you can even spot the berry street sign near the kitchen area. Ending our amazing experience was our Nutella pizza topped with fresh fruit! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G is all I can say. In conclusion of this review the staff is sweet, attentive, and quite easy on the eyes.

My two friends and I stumbled upon this Italian restaurant on a early Saturday evening and snagged the last available table without a reservation. This place is small and romantic with a rustic feel to it. All three of us ordered a different pasta dish and each one was delicious! All the pastas are homemade and authentic Italian. We shared a portabella mushroom topped with spinach and cheese, and a pizza with prosciutto for the appetizer. Both were delicious! Prices are reasonable for this part of Brooklyn, and the staff was pleasant, efficient, attentive and they did not rush us out. Would come back here in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Went there with my wife on Wednesday night and had their Oregano Pizza it was amazing! The flavors were phenomenal and well put together. My wife had the spaghetti bolognese and she said it was the best she had ever had! The service was top notch and the waiter was very knowledgeable about all the wine they had. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

My husband and I have been to Oregano twice and on both occasions, we were extremely pleased with both the food and the service. Our server, Florencia was incredibly kind and helpful when making menu selections that would accommodate my gluten intolerance. On our trips to Oregano, we have had the portabella mushrooms appetizer (yummy if you like gorgonzola), shrimp and scallop risotto, and the eggplant zucchini pizza and the four cheese pizza (super delicious). We will definitely be back the next time we are in Williamsburg.

On a cold winter New York afternoon, this place was just what the tummy wanted. The pizza was delicious. The gnocchi was spicy. Everything was served warm and fresh. I would highly recommend this place. It is a tiny space but with a huge charm. It has a taste straight from Italy.

We ordered a Pizza to share and a salad to share. I'm very picky when it comes to salads, but this one, I woud eat any day. It had a raspberry dressing with sliced fresh strawberries - yum! The pizza was delicious too. We ate out back in the beautiful courtyard. Service was great and the price very decent too.

Had lunch here with my family. The pizza was great! We had the 4-cheese-truffle and the fig-goatcheese-prosciutto. Recommend both. The service was VERY friendly and made us feel at home.

A very good place for a great dinner. Everything was fresh. Pasta is made in store and sauces are outstanding.

this place is a total gem! I had such a great time with my friends. the atmosphere is cozy and friendly.. really cute garden in the back too for large gatherings. the service was good. there is a great variety of food with amazing flavors. we ordered the caesar salad, truffle pizza, lobster pasta, and tiramisu. my friend had the salmon and it was the best I ever had. I will definitely be back!! thank you Oregano for such a wonderful night!

My husband and I were in town visiting from PA. We didn’t know what to expect - let’s just say, Oregano exceeding our expectations. Our waitress was so lovely and welcoming. The warm, homemade bread, drizzled with olive oil, was such a tasty start. The arugula pizza we had was “to die for,” and the “oldies” music had us dancing in our seats. We wish Oregano’s was our hometown restaurant - it so,we would be regulars. So Very Good - You Must Go!

Oregano is everything you can ask for! Great place, great music, great prices and tasteful food!!!!!! It's my second time here. Try the margherita pizza and the nutella dessert

The starters and pizza were just delicious - including a freshly made gluten free pizza which made a very welcome change. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was FREEZING though so had to keep our coats on.

the best chicken Alfredo EVER! Food was stunning, big portion sizes at such a good price. The service was just as wonderful, kind, attentive and acomodating. gorgeous decor, such good vibes and amazing playlist. Would 1000% recommend to both locals and tourists, perfect place for a date or with friends, was so cozy and beautiful inside. Worth every penny <3

Not only was the owner Rena most gracious and the most amazing hostess, but the food was absolutely fabulous. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant with my love. Everything on the menu not only looked amazing but tasted even better than it looked. I would give this restaurant a six star if I could. If you are a foodie, this is the destination for you.

We found this beautiful little restaurant in Williamsburg. It has wood furnace that ensure best cooking and creepy border. Margherita was very good: pizza is soft with high border as Napoli style. Price was normal for NY standard (12 $ each). Many pizzerias in Italy are lower levelled than Oregano.

The menu seemed encouraging and atmosphere reminiscent of Provençal musings. Very warm and cozy due the wood used for cooking. We were greeted nicely by a tall Italian man and sorted us out immediately....that's where it ended. The waitress/server was terrible, ill prepared to speak about the dishes and her audience. She ruined it!

Went in last night for the first time and was warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was very fresh, we ordered the mussels in a spicy sauce which was perfect with the homemade bread. The eggplant parm was phenomenal and really hit the spot. They have a great selection of wines and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My friend came for the gluten free options and really enjoyed her gluten free pasta. Will definitely return!

As Italian, I can confidently say that this restaurant serves excellent pasta and pizza! The flavors are authentic, and the dishes are made with care and high-quality ingredients. The environment is also very charming and cute, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great pasta and a cozy atmosphere!

we went here expecting a nice fresh Italian meal . The waitress was to busy talking to the manager the food was cold not warm but cold as if it came out of a freezer I would not recommend. there are so many other places to go to .

Loved this place, very cosy and stylish. Lovely people taking care of us and good food. We had a wonderful evening!

Went here with 7 people. We got a very nice spot in the restaurant. The specials on the menu (with lobster) were great! Also the pizza was very good. Love the thin crust. Negative points were the fact that no soft drinks were available, cappuccino/coffee was bad, service was ok!

Oregano is well worth the trek to Brooklyn from NYC. The staff, Krista, our waitress, in particular, were incredibly welcoming and fun to interact with. She made some great recommendations--we had a pizza and a black fettuccini with lobster--delicious. If you go after the sun sets, ask to sit on the patio. The staff tried to dissuade us from doing that because when the sun is out, it's quite hot and unpleasant out there. Since we'd just come off the street and the temp was cooling, I insisted I wanted to check it out and I'm so glad I did. It's lovely with a grape arbor and a peach tree. A lovely and serene atmosphere for a delicious dinner and great night out!

Great little Williamsburg find! We had such a blast here with friends on Saturday that we found our way back on Monday. Rena treated us like family and helped make for an unforgettable experience. Excellent wood-fired pizza & pasta, the sauce is outstanding. Salads are large enough to split and the chicken parmigiana was perfect with bubbling cheese and addictive homemade sauce. Save room for the Nutella pizza and the 'deconstructed' profiteroles!

The place is absolutely gorgeous! The food is definitely worth the wait. Our server Valerio was fabulous, he was so attentive to us. Pretty hard to get in too, as it was packed outside and inside. Great restaurant if you’re looking for a chill vibe and aesthetic pictures!

The atmosphere very nice in this small indoor outdoor eatery. Wood fired oven makes a very good pizza, and there is a very good pizza menu. Gluten free options with pizza and pasta are a plus. I ordered a bolognese dish. Their bolognese sauce is not meaty, and is kind of a sweet sauce. They lost one star on that. The outdoor garden out back is quaint. I would return.

Best burrata ever. Nice staff. Very welcoming attitude, smile faces, unlike many surrounding restaurants (accueillant as we say in French) Good food in general.

This isn't the first time we've eaten at Oregano's and it won't be the last. We wanted a guaranteed good meal in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn and Oregano delivered. The restaurant is small. It has an inner courtyard dinning area. Most people request this space. My wife and I had a table inside and had no regrets. Service was very good. The food was also very good. There tomato sauce is perfect and homemade pasta.

Oregano Their wood oven pizza is absolutely delicious!! Hands down the best I've ever tasted. They had all different kinda of pizza but I have to say my favorite one was the arugula pizza and the pepperoni one! They also have other Italian dishes but I didn't get to try them. I will definitely return to try other foods on the menu. The decor inside the place is so warming. The exposed brick wall adds a special touch to the place. (I Love exposed brick walls) The place is small but that's what I like about the place. The staff was on top of things. Very quickly our water was fill up and asked if we needed anything. I loved the fact that I didn't have to ask for anything. They were right there. Definitely a recommendation if your visiting New York City ...come to Brooklyn and have some real delicious pizza and other dishes on the menu.

Its my 2nd time eating here.. learned they added a fresh yummy vegan menu...and guess what...I'll come again! Highly Recommended!

We came here after visiting the Brooklyn brewery so we were a little tipsy and needed some soakage! Pizza was on my mind and pizza was what I was getting. Vilisimo! Best pizza I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was so cosy and casual. It was the stereotypical Italian American restaurant I had in mind to go to whilst in New York . Box ticked. The wine was also delicious- glass of Malbec each. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name... I blame the brewery haha. Would definitely come back here!

My friend and I checked this out after walking around Brooklyn on a HOT summer day. They didn't have the AC on, but the building is open at the front and back and a nice cool breeze made it pleasant. The decor was awesome from top to bottom, I could see this being a super cute date night place. The service was good and the food was amazing. We had the smoked salmon pizza and a house salad. The salmon pizza had such good balance of flavors that every bite was a little piece of heaven. Loved it all. Hope I make it back here someday!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here this evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food was reasonable and delicious. Even though they were extremely busy, we still got great service. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to NY.

we ate here during our stay in brooklyn / williamsburg and the food is really good! we at two pizza`s wich very very tastefull! would definitely go again!

Beaut little place run by the nicest people. We were treated like friends and the food was superb. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Thanks team Oregano!

Based on the many positive TA reviews my sons and I decided to have our first NY dinner at Oregano’s, and we were not disappointed. Pizzas and bruschetta were as they should be, reasonably priced, and staff very friendly. Cosy atmosphere with bottle-lined walls. Highly recommended.

Small, cosy and informal. We had the chef’s special pasta. Delicious home made pasta and a lovely sauce. Lots of flavour without being overpowering. Unpretentious but excellent.

We found this little gem awhile back, and had the opportunity to go back this past week. They don't take reservations, they're very small, and the food is fabulous. They open at 5, Monday thru Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. During the week, get there early because this place is popular with the locals. They now serve beer and wine, so it's no longer a BYOB. We live in West Chester, Pa., but this is worth the ride..

When I try I restaurant for the first time, I usually order a traditional dish, so I can easily compare it with the same dish in other Italian restaurants. This is what I did with the eggplant parmesan. It was delicious, as well as every other dish we tried at this cozy restaurant, including the pizza bread they serve to accompany your meal.

I visited Oregano this holiday season and the ambience is fantastic. Tied in with the delicious food and speedy service, I was more than satisfied! Highly recommend if you're looking for good vibes and tasty Italian food.

Everyone's different... my family loves this place. I was not impressed - all the way around. I had the mussels as an app. They were OK, nothing special.. I also ordered the eggplant parm, one of my all time favorites and it got rave review.... I could barely eat it, way too much sauce, not enough cheese, soggy as all get out and very little eggplant flavor. Would have liked some additional parm to grate on top, once our entrees were served, never saw the waiter again - to ask for anything additionally or to refresh our drinks..... not a good experience... I would try again as my family was very pleased with their food.....but not rushing back any time soon,

Came here with coworkers and had a great time. Great ambiance, service, And the food was delicious. Definitely recommend. 👍

From the outside you would not guess this place has awesome italian dishes!!! The pizza was great but their pasta dishes were so delicious!!!! Pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked al dente. Sauces and combinations are perfect for each plate. Loved it!!!

This is an awesome venue, with awesome food, run by the most personable, lovely, warm owner and staff. My husband took me there this past Saturday evening for a date and we were so surprised how wonderful the food was. We travel extensively and the food is as tasty as any trattoria in Italy. The gnocchi we had was pillow soft and served with a delectable vodka sauce with salmon. The oil burning lamps on the tables really add to the ambiance. We came from Manhattan to This Restaurant and the food certainly rivals many of the restaurants we frequent.

This place was very busy with people being turned away at the door. You can't book but you can put your name on a list. Tables for 2 were much easier to come by. Larger groups were being advised to come back later. This is a BYOB restaurant although they also have a drinks menu. If you take your own wine, they charge a very steep $15 per bottle. Can recommend the Saffron risotto from the menu and the Black fettuccine from the Specials board. Both delicious.

This place is awesome and totally deserves the great reviews. Had a fab meal and staff were SO lovely spoiling my hubby for his birthday. A must visit

Oregano is an AMAZING spot! To start, the atmosphere is adorable and cozy and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Everything that we ordered (and we ordered a lot) was fresh and delicious from the appetizers to dessert. We ordered a burrata appetizer, caesar salad, pizza, chicken, dessert pizza (nutella and strawberries- perfection!), cannoli, espresso, and wine and could not have been happier. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend Oregano if you want a delicious Italian meal in a beautiful setting. :)

It is very seldom that I even consider, let alone give a 5 star rating as nothing is ever perfect. Well this is as close as it comes. The place small but very clean. We were lucky enough to get seated at the window. The server, I do not know her name, was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though I think she was there alone, we never had to wait. We were a table of 4 and we ordered the salmon, chicken marsala, lasagna and eggplant. Every meal was perfect. I had the chicken and I can say it was the best I have ever had, and I have had many. Prices were reasonable, a nice surprise for the area. It was a great night and if I ever make it back to that neighborhood, I will be back...

we visited here a long time ago and couldn't remember the name, we were walking around Williamsburg and my wife spotted it. it was a good as I remembered, its long and thin, so there isn't loads of tables. we had a 5 min wait to get seated and we sat at the top near the kitchen. this place has ambiance and is pumping! there were four of us and 2 had pizza ad 2 had pasta, my pal had the Williamsburg pizza which was a little spicy and my wife had the pepperoni, I had chicken parm with spaghetti and my pals wife had lasagna. all of which were very very good! we didn't need to wait long for the food and everything was hot and great portions, we even managed a dessert! our sever was a nice guy and was very attentive give this place a go

Came here for the wood fired pizza and was not disappointed. Started with a Caesar Salad which was very flavorful and plenty for two people. The pizza was thin crust which is what we wanted. The pizza was excellent with great crust and flavorful sauce. The ambiance is truly Williamsburg.

We had lunch here today. We were seated immediately. Cost little restaurant. Friendly staff. We ordered the spinach salad and the oregano pizza with zaater. Lebanese themed pizza, very original! And delicious. Amazing base. And as if the pizza wasn't good enough, the salad was just incredible! Not something I say a lot about salads. Spinach and crumbled goats cheese interspersed with walnuts in a coulis dressing. With strawberries!! Amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped with the kids for pizza and a glass of wine for me - it is expensive, $20.00 for a small meat pizza (personal size - but too much for one person) The restaurant is small and charming, but the service is questionable, and especially when they suggest a 20% or 30% gratuity on the bill, who does that at a casual dining restaurant. The pasta's looked interesting and innovative, the pizza is thin crust and wood oven, but the sauce on the margarita tasted like it came straight from a jar.

I love this restaurant. Super cozy, always inviting and warm, and an overall great place to eat at this time of year. Really feels like a typical Italian sunday night family dinner. And the food is INCREDIBLE. The pasta is fresh and homemade and the pizzas are delicious, especially the fig, goat cheese & prosciutto one. I also love the eggplant parmigiana with the homemade fettuccine. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! They also have a backyard which I am excited to dine in this summer. Favorite Italian restaurant in Williamsburg!

A rather small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very good italian style homemade food, We had some pizzas which were all very tasty. Pizza with figs may sound strange, but is well worth trying! the deserts were also very good and so was the wine. A place well worth visiting!

The food and the service was top rated, excellent! There is a server Jorge Baraona who did great job , he suggested me what to eat, and everything was wonderful. Best Italian restaurant in Brooklyn by far.

Delivered promptly and every dish was hot and delicious. Ordered the Pasta with Shrimp and Spinach and then added a cannoli for dessert. The Shrimp was a nice size and the past sauce was delicious. Spinach was a healthy green with a hint of garlic and heat. Cannoli was the best. Will definitely return. Ordered and delivered within 45 minutes. Opened it up when it arrived and everything was the right temp. Tried to save 1/2 of the dish but too good to leave!

What lovely food they serve here! I had the 'Chicken Marsala"followed by the New York style cheesecake! Both were delicious! I would definitely recommend people to come here!

Cute little restaurant with good food and super friendly staff members. We stopped by for dinner and the food was delicious. The backyard is lovely with brick walls and vines, would be perfect for a date. Seriously, if you take someone out for a date, go to this restaurant. This place is listed as vegan-friendly / vegan-options and the chef wouldn't mind removing dairy from your food but I don't think it should be listed as vegan restaurant (that's how I found it on TripAdvisor).

Unbelievable service, setting and amazing ambience. The place feels very authentic and inviting. Small intimate spaces

Been here a handful of times and wouldn’t fathom going any place else in Williamsburg for a date night, or more specifically a business dinner to impress out of town clients. The staff (like the clientele) is hip, knowledgeable on not just the amazing food and wine that they are selling, but the type of professional, in the know characters you want taking care if you and your musician friends! More like hanging out with friends and peers than simply being “waited on”... Most importantly though, food is off the charts. NEVER has been less than amazing. If you haven’t been you’re truly missing out. Get there soon, as this is the next Williamsburg IT spot and is getting more and more difficult by the day to score a table!

Some of the nicest Italian food I've ever had. Highly recommend radiatore pesto and the burrata pizza. Brilliant service, great drinks options and lovely atmosphere. Favourite meal in our NY trip.

I fell in love with this place as did my friends. The ambiance is cozy like nonna' s house an open kitchen, candle lit table, Frank Sinatra playing and great hospitality served by Rena. When you arrive have a glass of wine and truffle brick oven pizza to start. Then move on to the mussels in white wine sauce followed by chicken parmesan and ending with a double espresso and tiramisu. My friends and I will return and we most definitely will ask for Rena!

This is definitelya place one should check out on a trip to Williamsburg. The food is all prepared to order and the pasta is made fresh daily. We enjoyed the black fettuccini with lobster and the special which was homemade spaghetti with burrata. It's a relaxed environment and a nice scene. The wine we had was very good, and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return!

Firstly the whole experience was excellent, the staff were very friendly and made a real effort to make us welcome and comfortable and went out of their way to make our experience even better! The food was fabulous, incredibly cooked and all the compliments to the chef. And finally the star of the show, by far the best desert I have ever eaten in my life, it had to be the Nutella Pizza and my whole family loved it! Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a brilliant meal with great hospitality!

We came for the pizza for a, "last hurrah," to Brooklyn. There's nothing we don't like about the service, the place or the pizza. All top-notch. Yum!

It was perfect here! We are in NYC for a week and we are here for the second time because its so good! I can only recommend it to everyone - from homemade gnoggi to a perfect pizza you can get whatever you want to! Also the waiters are all very nice and friendly:)

Not sure I would rate it as Number One but did have a pleasant dining experience here. The four of us shared two pizzas and two salads which were all tasty. The thin crust pizza was especially good. We also shared a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Would recommend the place.

It was very nice - my guests had froz'ee drinks - other frozen options were out, (guess due to unusually warm Oct day). Gnocchi- yes! spinach zuch pizza is good! My vegan Oregano pizza was just very good, not fabulous. A lot of arugula, not much else (needed moisture, which i got from my daughter's gnocchi saice :) I would return....The crusts were delish !!

This was an amazing experience, the food was delicious and the staff was so welcoming !!! I will definitely be back her !!! 10/10

The pasta got to much. The service was not “on” and the price was high. So nothing speciel. Compare to what we expected.

I've come here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The service was fast and the food was very good. They also are very accommodating for those with gluten free diets, which was great for us. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for lunch in Brooklyn or a casual dinner! You won't be disappointed.

Great food - chicken caprese delicious! We took 2 small kids and had fun. It's a small place and filled up fast when we were there.

Oregano is a little place in Brooklyn with great food, atmosphere and service. We started with two appetizers, burrata and stuffed mushrooms. Both were excellent. We also enjoyed a traditional spaghetti and meatballs as well as an arugula brick oven pizza. We were not disappointed! Our beautiful waitress, Krista, was so helpful with suggesting the perfect glass of wine. She managed to wait on every table in this small, but packed restaurant, without missing a beat. We had a great evening and will definitely return when we visit NY again.

on a busy Friday night myself and my wife walked in . their was a little wait about 15 min . their is really nowhere to wait just by the front door . what I think they should do is take your name and cell and wait in the bar across the street , just an idea but a short wait and we were seated . I found the waitress very friendly and she went over a few specials and we were set first were ordered baked clam and a salad both were good . the main my wife had pizza . I had a little of the pie very good . just a simple cheese pie. I had back linguini with seafood .it was great I found the red sauce to be outstanding and I eat this type of food item in many places . the dessert we has flan good and coffee the place is small but very good . I would go back any time .
Sublime.... well done all around
What incredible food! My friend and I wanted pizza and pasta as a meal to catch upon. Rena and her team did not disappoint. My friend had just returned from a two week vacation in Italy and he keep saying how authentic he found Oregano. The saganaki pizza was different and delicious and we scarfed no sooner than the plate hit the table. I got the perfectly prepared pappardelle pasta with pesto and he got cacio e pepe - perfect al dente. Prima classe! Also highly recommended for 1st dates and private events.
