When in Atlanta, we go here with the kids all the time. Great pizza, mussels and pasta. I had the bolognese the last time. It was subperb!

So excited that Osteria now serves weekend brunch! I came here for a boozy brunch with friends and we all ordered something different. My fave was the breakfast pizza and lemon ricotta pancakes. Hash browns have perfect crispy flavor. Mimosas & bellinis, yes please!

Didn't 'go' to the restaurant. I ordered delivery. (questionnaire didn't give me option). Food was great! Portions were generous! Door Dash Emani was cheerful. Will use again!

We order take out here quite often. The pizzas are always very delicious with a thin, crispy crust. My wife usually gets the veggie siciliana pizza and I had the bandiera, which has pepperoni, ricotta cheese, mozzarella and basil. The pizzas are served quickly and you can tell the ingredients are fresh!

We have visited Osteria 832 a few times for pizza, and more recently for a complete dinner for 6 of us. The food is satisfactory, but not anything more than that. Still worth keeping on the list.

We went to Osteria with a large group. Make sure you call ahead for seating with a group bigger than 6. They were awesome! We had drinks at the bar ahead of meeting our friends and then sat down for the amazing pasta and pizza we have come to expect. Pro Tip: go early if you want a seat on the patio on a pretty day

The food was good and quick once ordered. We only had 13 people and got right in but once in the drinks, apps, and taking our order took forever. I would go back for the food because it was good and the service, however slow, was very friendly and the kid was working hard. Once we did order our food it came quick.

Reasonably priced italian pastas and pizza -- good porch -- lots of kids

This restaurant is near Italian. The place is small and has a bar. Food is decent. Price is above average. Service is quick. Parking is free. You need reservation in advance.

It is...a great place to sit on the patio...it is....a great place to go if you have kids. The pizza is just so-so - thin crust & very dry as commented by someone else in other reviews. Pasta looked better than the pizzas. But hey - if you want to go out with the kiddies and have a glass of wine or beer - not bad overall. A solid B.

I didn't want to like this place -- the name, the Poncey part of Highlands. But I do. It doesn't feel "Italian" at all. But, the food is good, particularly the rigatoni bolognese. The pizza is a little dry, so sprinkle some olive oil on top.

I stopped here for drinks on the patio with my wife and daughter so I cannot comment on the food. I cannot recommend the patio as it is rather plain and the black metal chairs and tables are sticky with either tree sap or dried beer/cocktails. Some basic housekeeping could easily fix this problem so I have to wonder about cleanliness in general.

We have eaten at this restaurant for 10 years. Our kids use their food as the benchmark for all Italian food when we travel. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is reasonably priced, and there are many food/wine choices. My husband loves the trout, the kids eat cheese pizza and buttered pasta, and I always get the chicken piccata or eggplant parmesan.

While visiting the Atlanta area, we enjoyed a deliciously tasty meal at Osteria 832. The hostess and waitress were wonderfully welcoming, and Rich, one of the owners, made sure our every need was taken care of. Everyone at our table was able to try many of the main dishes along with the bread basket and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. I've never eaten a better fried green tomato! It was drizzled with a creamy cheese sauce, and the tomatoes themselves were very crisp (LOVED the breading!). I ordered the Linguine Meditteraneo and was blown away by the rich flavors (as was everyone else at our table!), Everything in it was fresh, and it was a meal I felt good about eating because it was void of the processed junk....I could tell it was freshly cooked and not just heated up. The Chicken Parm and Boscaiola were also tasty, but I would highly recommend the Meditteraneo. We were able to taste every dessert on the menu, and they were all yummy. My personal favorite was the Ganache....there's just something about the crust! The Crespelle with the blueberries was also delish. If you're in the area, make sure you stop in. The atmosphere is laid back enough to be able to relax and feel comfortable in jeans, but nice enough to feel like you're sitting down to a fancy dinner. This is a place I would go for date night if I ever had the chance in the area, and I can't wait to eat here again next time I'm in the area!

A number of people say this place is good for the price but it really is good food. I ordered pizza, however, I noticed a lot of people getting that pasta, so I will try that next time. If you like Mussels, they have a pretty good appetizer, in a nice wine sauce. It comes with some toasted bread but if I wasn't on a diet, I would have asked for extra bread for the sauce. This place is kid friendly, however, there aren't a bunch of screaming, crying kids, hanging out. You just don't have to feel uncomfortable bringing your child to this place after normal hours. My husband and I brought our 11 year old there and she enjoyed the cheese pizza. The atmosphere is really nice. At the time that we went, it was a little cool outside but there were people sitting on the patio. Next time we go, that is where I would like to be. This area has about 3 or 4 bars you can walk to, so it's in a good spot. You don't have to park on the street. If you go to the rear of the building, there is additional parking. Just make sure you bring your receipt, from the restaurant, so that the parking attendant doesn't charge you.

A favorite casual restaurant. Large patio out front on N. Highland Ave. Wonderful appetizers, wine, and pizza (like it is in Italy!).

I frequent here because their food is an addiction! My favorite is the gorgonzola spinach pasta - without the chicken and mushrooms (ruins the pure flavor). Another favorite is the georgia trout. They also have great wines. You can't go wrong going to get a excellent quick meal in a casual non-pricey atmosphere. It's a popular place so don't go for intimate conversation. I always recommend this place to visitors, it's a mainstay!

It's located in a fun neighborhood for shopping and dining, but not easy to get to from downtown. Taxi ride is about $20. If that's no problem, then go to this place. Very inexpensive, lots of menu choices. Pizza was fresh and delicious! Wine selection was decent too. It gets busy on a Saturday night. Good for families, couples, and friends.

Pizza was very average with very little flavor. They did have gluten free options for pizza and pasta which drew us to the restaurant. The caprese salad appetizer was very good which improved the rating to a 2. They also had a nice patio for dining.

2nd visit to this place in the past 3 weeks... (1st visit was fine just ordered pizza and asked for it extra crispy). Our 2nd visit, the 2 pizzas we ordered came out a bit soggy in the middle -- that didn't happen on my first visit. We asked for a couple pieces of bread for our mozzarella/ tomato salad... the waiter hesitated then offered us to buy the 'bread basket'... we declined not on the price but on the fact that we were getting more pizza later and didn't want an entire basket. Hey, can't this place that makes pizza all day put out a couple of little pieces of bread if you 'ask' for it? I don't get that policy. Their version of a BLT is an overly fatty, thick bacon (not crispy) version on soft bread -- not toasted. I've had better BLT at diners. The grits that were the side dish had no flavor and were watery. Our two pasta dishes were fine but a bit Olive-gardeny.... not memorable. If you go, ask for the pizzas to be extra crisp. Nice place to sit outside otherwise.

My family visited Osteria 832 over a vacation in Georgia. We had a party of 9 with ages ranging from 10 months to 50ish. Food - Every single one of us were very pleased with the meals we received. I had the Mediterranean pasta (add chicken) and it was to die for. The flavor was outstanding and everything tasted very fresh! I also sampled some of the other dishes that were ordered by our group and all of them were very flavorful and prepared perfectly. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which were the best I've had. For dessert, our group collectively ordered almost every dessert they offered for the night and shared them. My favorite, which I shared a little less with the group was the Tiramasu. Service - Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink the restaurant offered. I was looking for a wine to be paired with my meal. She was able to offer suggestions to me with reasoning behind the suggestion she offered. One of the owners (Rich) made was in the restaurant working hard to make sure all of his customers were having a good experience. He stopped at our table and was very welcoming and made sure we were all satisfied with our meals. He was even very attentive, showing attention to the 10 month old twins that were in our group. In my opinion, this restaurant offers phenomenal food at a reasonable price. It would be god for a date night or a family dinner. The service, management, and atmosphere are top notch. I will be eating here again... even though I live in IL.

I visited Osteria as part of a group of four people We all ordered different plates. We all were satisfied with our food but agreed that is not memorable. Good place for an occasional dinner but not for a special event. Their service is great

Very nice wait staff. The food was good, not fantastic. Disappointed that the pizza was very small (we were sharing), tasted great though. We also ordered dessert – the flourless chocolate cake and cannoli, both tasted wonderful, but servings were very, very small. So in a nut shell the food tasted good, but servings were very small and we left hungry.

Looking for something different on a Sunday and found Osteria 832 in Virginia Highlands. Good paid parking right across the street. Sit outside and enjoy the area. Had the French Toast and Caprase pizza, both were outstanding.

Osteria has all kinds of pasta and some really delicious appetizers-- the mussels in white wine are especially tasty, and they make some of the best calamari we've found. We all have our favorites and they will make items that are no longer on the menu if you ask (for me, it's the Rustica with sausage- so good!) The place can get busy and if you go early, there will be lots of families there. The staff is easygoing. Our kids love the kid food, especially the mac and cheese. The pizza is also good. We've been going here for over ten years and it's very reliable. Highly recommend!

A few good friends and I had planned a night out and wanted something casual but good before hitting the town. This place has a fun and energetic vibe. We were there at about 7PM on a Saturday night. We were promptly seated in a booth and our server was quick to the table for drink orders. Two of us ordered bar drinks which were served promptly. After checking out the menu, two of us decided to share a pizza and the other an order of pasta. The pizza was the perfect size for two of us and tasted great. Our friend with the pasta was impressed with the quality of the dish. After the pizza, we were still a bit hungry and shared a plate of fried ravioli which was equally as good! One thing that was nice about this place is that the service team seems to work together to ensure all of the guests are attended too. They were also very engaging and were happy to make menu suggestions. I would highly recommend this place as a great kick off to a night out or for a casual dinner. I will certainly be back!

I go there with family usually my teenage grandson loves it. The potions are big enough without being overwhelming and the pasta is always cooked to perfection. The price is reasonable and there is a nice outdoor terrace with plenty of room to dine Al Fresco. The Caprese salad is a little strange as it is hot , the tomatoes are roasted. Some may like it but I prefer the traditional plate. The house wine is Ok.

This is a pizza and pasta place but I’m recommending their weekend brunch. The French toast with mascarpone and fruit is delicious! Also the Highland Benedict is great. The oatmeal pancake tastes good but is on the heavy side. It’s usually not crowded like some Sunday brunch places so service is prompt. There is easy parking right in front.

Great patio...

I gave this place a 4 but they are usually a 5. Why? The mussels, typically fabulous, were “meh”. Still a great place and I am looking forward to next time. What’s new? Their brussel sprout dish has superb taste - try this! And as always.... the service here is impeccable. I have never had a poor staff experience. Go go go!!!

Hostess was very welcoming. Good menu for a Sunday. Was extremely hungry and disappointed when my entree was cold! They apologized and brought another . Rigatoni Genovese is excellent! My husband had the breakfast strata, also delicious!

Cheap and good value.

Went there for brunch and it was great I ordered the osteria Benedict my husband got eggs and hash which he also liked a lot I would definitely go again

We popped in at 4:45 on a rainy Saturday afternoon - needed early dinner before a 6pm function. We were the only diners for a little while but the neighborhood families in search of great mac and cheese soon started to arrive. We ordered glasses of house wine ($5, short pours) and calamari appetizer. The calamari was not great - mostly just over fried batter with little calamari. But then we shared our fav menu items at Osteria - Arugula salad (bountiful salad great for sharing) and Rigatoni Bolognese - very good! Parking is a bit of a pain but street parking is available across the street (sometimes WAY down the street) and there is a pay lot available across the street. Both parking options fine unless less cold and rainy like during our visit.

Great take on Italian food, my favorites are the White pizza and the Pasta Bosciola. Lots of families with kids and the choice of indoor seating or a large patio.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and fiancé. They had heard that Osteria 832 was a place to try so we made plans for dinner. We sat inside and were seated quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a house Italian blend red wine for just $6.00! As a Italian wine enthusiast, I was impressed. We tried the fried ravioli and bruschetta for appetizers and they were delicious. We ordered a few pizzas, house special artichoke lasagna which I highly recommend, and another pasta dish. Everything was fresh and made to order. The service was attentive and helpful. Be sure to try this place. We will be back!

Our waitress offered beyond excellent service. The food was fantastic. The bread was homemade and one can smell the aroma throughout the beautiful restaurant. We will be sure to visit this charming restaurant again and again.

Fast and friendly service. Very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. Great pizza. Naples inspired. Nice thin crust. Calabrese was nice and spicy.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Osteria with a friend last night (10/6/2012). The night was perfect weather, and we elected to dine in the outdoor patio section. There were several trees that shaded the row of outdoor tables closest to the street where we sat, and unfortunately, some smallish birds (sparrows?) were gathered in the branches overhead. My friend and I ordered wine and our meal, and then suddenly I noticed that a bird had bombed the leg of my pants with an inch long white turd. Not making a fuss, I cleaned it as best I could with a napkin, but kept a very wary eye on my food from that point on. We each had a Caesar salad and spaghetti, which was unfortunate, as each was rather a perfect camouflage setting for another attack from above. The salad survived unscathed, and when that was finished, the spaghetti was brought out. When I had finished about half of it, horrors! My fears were realized when I saw a fresh bombing of a half inch long fresh turd from above in my spaghetti! Ugh, to say the least! I did not wish to cause a scene, so I did not alert the waitress, but I will write to the management about the incident. Given the scenario, it is inexcusable that the management does not care enough about the health of the patrons to not erect umbrellas to protect the tables under the numerous roosting birds. Given the smallish size of the turds, one wonders how many may have been ingested unnoticed by other unsuspecting diners, perfectly camouflaged in a platter of spaghetti, or hiding amidst the freshly ground Parmesan strips in the salad. I will not be back. What a disaster. How was the food, you might ask? Given the account above, does it really matter at all?

Group of 4 including a teenager who was starving. We had 5 different pasta meals and appetizers and bread basket. Portions are generous. Prices are moderate $15/plate. Cynthia was nice courteous and helpful.

I had dinner here with my best friend Saturday night. We were promptly seated on the patio. Our server was very pleasant and brought us water while we decided on wine. We enjoyed a bottle of multipulciano. The craprese salad was one of the best I have ever had! They actually roasted the tomatoes! For dinner I had the eggplant parm. Was cooked to perfection. We ended our meal with some tiramisu. It was just okay, a little dryer than I would have liked. I will def be back next time I am in the area.

Another spot in the Highlands with a great patio and wonderful thin-crust, European-style pizzas. I usually have a pasta selection with the rich Bolognese sauce. The prices are also very reasonable.

Our family & some friends get together for brunch at the Osteria restaurant almost every Sunday. We have found over the years that the manager and staff are very welcoming and friendly with us. We tend to be a rather larger group (6~10) and they always accommodate us and move tables or chairs as needed for us to seat together. They have a nice menu and the food consistent and of good quality. The price is moderate to low and their coffee is particularly good! I have never eaten lunch or dinner there, but I will continue to patronize the restaurant for our Sunday brunch. It's a very nice place to eat with family or friends.

Totally mediocre pizza. They do, however, have a 1/2 bottle of wine night on Tuesdays, and have a sort of fun wine list.

We stopped here on the recommendation of a local. While each of us ordered different items, each were delicious! Orders ranged from pasta to benedicts. The grits were amazing! For dessert, we shared the cherry topped cheesecake because anything with fruit on it is healthy! Neat little place in midtown and our server was engaging! They did get busy after a while, which slowed things down towards the end of our meal. I’d definitely suggest coming here for a place that is off the beaten path and unique.

Terrible - went for family dinner, moms birthday. Will never return 1) waitress was rude 2) Order taken and when food came, my granddaughter had spaghetti and there might have been a large spoonful of pasta, $7.00 meal with no drink and very little pasta, she was still hungry. Grandson had pizza, came out with burn marks on top, he wouldn’t eat it. None of our pasta came with anything, and was $17.00. Again very small portions. 3) Never was told that they do not split checks, not on menu either. So we all were gonna use our credit/ debit cards, the entire bill $210.00 had to go to one person because we were not told until we asked to have bill split that they do not do this. And even with the “could careless” attitude from the older lady waitress, tip of $ 37.00 was added to the bill. We will never go again, rude service, No splitting checks, mediocre food.

Fantastic thin wood burning fired pizza with a variety of options to please all. Add an array of classic Italian dishes this group of 6 truly enjoyed a wonderful meal. There is a full bar with knowledgeable bartenders who are friendly and helpful. Indoor or outdoor seating is available. Tables can be united to create enough safe for the whole family or friends. There is a large take-out business with efficient service too. Great meal, great memories created.

We had a group of 9 people. They don't take reservations. We got there around six and we were still quickly seated. Note: bread is not free. It is very tasty. I had chicken piccata over linguine. Very good. A few of us had trout and liked it very much. Food was a bit slow coming out, but once it did, service was very attentive and always friendly. Noise level is extremely loud. No music--all conversation. Just be aware...ok for table of 4 but very tough beyond that. Should've seen the line waiting to get in when we left. Parking lot across the street was nearly full. Cost $5 for 3 hours. We were out in less than two hours.

Oh, you know. Fine for lunch or a totally unimpressive dinner. Just comfortable and available and within a reasonable budget.

located in quaint virginia highlands...fun neighborhood with restaurants, boutiques, and bars! Only 3 miles from downtown atlanta!

The food is a bit saltier than I would like, but the rest of the group seemed to like it. Very friendly service. Go early if you have young chldren as the mood seemed to switch from boisterous family gathering to romantic dinner by candle light around 7:30-8PM.

We went with friends. The menu selection was great. I had the grilled trout with vegetables and was please with the portion size and healthy option Other foods ordered were Fried Ravioli and Chicken Parmesan. All were perfect. Waiter was punctual and provided great service.

This is our go to place to meet with friends and have a relaxing weekend lunch. The staff is casual but prompt. They have great thin style pizza, good pasta, breakfast items and a good selection of draft beers. All set in a low key atmosphere.

Wow, For ten bucks you get a plate of spaghetti and meatballs fit for a king. Great salads, fun specials, friendly atmosphere for kids to oldies like me. Eggplant this awesome, Pizzas's are good, You can't beat it for the price. My only negative was the brunch there. Did'n't like it at all. They do pasta perfectly but not so great on eggs. For under 25 dollars two people can have dinner. A good find.

I’ve visited Osteria 832 multiple times over the last 8 years or so. I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s a treat to sit outside on the patio and watch all the people go by and enjoy the atmosphere. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful. The drinks are good - I normally order gin or vodka tonic. Of course the food is good. I’m a vegetarian and always find a different options to choose from. Over my previous and current visit I’ve had the bread basket, bruschetta and arugula salad. The Eggplant Parmigiana is a staple and delicious. This visit we tried the Linguine Mediterraneo. This is a dish we will definitely have again. We don’t normally have dessert but this time we did get the tiramisu which was delicious. A good way to end the evening. Good staple restaurant to have in your rotation in Virginia Highland!

I rode my bicycle to Osteria for breakfast and I'm so glad to have found such a good Sat/Sun breakfast place in easy riding range! A genuine pleasant welcome from the hostess ...if she was acting she needs to be in Hollywood. Her greeting set a nice tone for the friendly excellent service and excellent eats that followed. The eggs were almost fluffy, served hot, and cooked just as I asked...scrambled well. This amazingly economical selection came with toast and REAL butter, [you can get grits] and good diced-in-the-kitchen potatoes. The ketchup dispenser was full. The coffee was good and reasonably priced...and the server kept it hot. Excellent breakfast! While ordering, I had questions about the menu and the courteous, friendly manner of the server was refreshing and added to the overall nice time there. The outside patio is all no smoking. The very nice patio is a little close to the street but there is a landscaped planter with trees, a fence, and some plants that give a bit of separation and add to the nice feel of the patio area itself. The greens were kept up and the only point I would make for improvement would be to make that front planter area more lush with growing things to even better screen the street. This is the all-around best breakfast place I've been to recently and for now, it is going to be my Sat/Sun local breakfast spot.

We tried this restaurant on a whim. Wanted a place that was cozy and family friendly. Glad we stopped by. Food was good as well.

I always like this neighborhood restaurant for good Pizza any day of the week but the Sunday Brunch is great and such a good alliterative to the other wait in line places in the immediate area.

Sunday brunch. Not bad. Highland Benedict is good. Nice environment and decent quality food. Nice to try!

The food we ordered was good. The menu, to me, was too organic/California. Some people may love that. I just like a good pizza and pasta without all the flair. The food was good however. Triple Forks Hunting

Transparently, many of the people at our table did not enjoy their meals. However, my wife and I ordered a simple Pepperoni Pizza, and it was great! Big pepperonis, good cheese and sauce ratio. We would be back for the Pizza for sure!

Wanted to go here for some time and was encouraged by the reviews. Shared a salad starter which was very good and we looked forward to our entrees. However the Riggatoni and a pizza arrived and we were very disappointed. The pasta was just warm and had the look of “being sat for a while”. The Ragu sauce was very salty and had a certain out-of-can taste. The pizza was very average at best. Very good atmosphere and nice bar, but our food was just poor. Sorry …. We wanted it to be good!

They have a nice, outdoor patio and the place was not very busy on a warm Saturday evening. Pizza was pretty tasty; lasagna not so much (too oily). They did not honor their free entree coupon as advertised which I did not appreciate, felt like bait&switch. Overall, average neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Osteria is an incredibly kid and family friendly Italian restaurant. The food is good with a good bar.

I liked this place. I ordered bruschetta for an appetizer- excellent flavor. I also ordered something called Nduja. It was delicious. Large pizza but doesn't leave you feeling stuffed afterwards.

it was great, simple, fast, good service, not to expensive, really really great food. 1hr 1/2 free parking, we had no wait at all. I didn't like that they charged for bread. Other then that it was great.

Rigatoni Bolognese, with Caesar salad. The two dishes shared a fault: the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the Bolognese sauce was very good, but there was shockingly too little of the sauce. The Caesar salad was also very good, but had way too little of the dressing. I don't want either dish smothered in sauce or dressing, just a reasonable amount. In my view this failure ruined the meal.

The pizza was great for a late night snack. The patio was well lit and very romantic.

Really wanted to like it. They make it too difficult, parking, masks, sterile conditions, etc. It wasn’t terrible. Just no flavor on anything. They aren’t open much, maybe 3-4 hours a day so maybe nobody notices? Almost empty on a Saturday evening. We were talking to our kids about Everybody’s Pizza back in the day but went here and they were not impressed. Again, not terrible, maybe has potential, but how do you mess up pizza? Someone could fix this place super easy/

Meet up with our nephew and girlfriend for dinner while vacationing in Atlanta. This was the perfect spot. Called ahead and they had a table for 8 ready on a busy Friday night. The fresh bread was warm and tasty. The pasta dishes were plentiful. My son liked the hearty lamb dish. My pesto was fresh and delicious. The adults split a bottle of wine. The server was friendly and helpful. Will be back when we comeback to Atlanta.

Patio, open air, for everyone

Quick , casual big bowls of tasty freshly prepared pasta and pizza Lots of kids and families early quieter after 7 not a date place more a place to go for a hearty meal lots of energy and no worries with the kids A lively outside patio as well Nice bar area good drinks not expensive for 10 to 12 a person you can get a great entree and bring some of it home. Parking is free and if you want good food and clean but not fancy This is it!!!! Always happy faces!!!!

We went on Football Sunday around 7PM and it was busy with Uber Eats causing some delays. Still we had a great dinner. I had a gluten free pizza with rabbit food (spinach and arugula); sister had the trout with spinach; niece and mom shared a pizza with pepperoni and shrooms; and dad got a pasta dish. We had a great dinner, except the water from tap tasted bad. We paid for Fuji water which the waitress found. Great experience on the patio.

We love coming to Osteria. Date night; quick, delicious and we are never disappointed. Try the caesar

We've eaten here many times (my son used to work as a server here) and we are always at least ok with the food and usually pleased. This was the best it has ever been- don't know if there's a new chef/cook or what but all in our party were very happy.

We were looking for a really good Italian restaurant to eat at 3pm in Atlanta and this was the only one we could find that was open before 5pm. The food was pretty good, the service was excellent and they catered to children. It had a nice outdoor patio. Only two complaints: the calamari contained very few actual calamari pieces, the rest was fried basil. Bread could be purchased as an appetizer but was not served with the meal.

We've had the pizza and egg dishes for brunch here, and both are very, very good. The staff is wonderful, and we really like the atmosphere. It is family friendly, too. This is a good alternative for an Italian brunch when everything is jammed on the weekends.

Thin, European style pizzas with nice flavor. Wife enjoyed her pan-seared trout. The atmosphere is really geared more toward families.

We ate dinner at seeing a movie and arrived around 630. We were promptly seated but it was really noisy with several families, which is fine. I had a peroni draft. We shared the radish/jicima salad; a margherita pizza, and the trout. My mom enjoys the trout always and we had collards and sweet potatoes. I think the food was good and it's always consistent. It wasn't mouth watering food. Good value.

Decent Italian at a reasonable price. Since we can't seem to get any "real" Italian neighborhood restaurants in Atlanta, this will have to do.

Had a very solid meal where everyone enjoyed their food. Eggplant parmigian was delicious and had lots of mozzarella. Special pizza with grapes and bacon was a great combination of sweet and savory. Kids macaroni and cheese was homemade and was a big hit. Eating outside on the patio was lovely, with the exception of the occasional leaf falling into our food. Overall a great meal.

My husband and I each had our own 12 inch pesto pizza here. They were great! It was a little too much food, but one wouldn’t have been enough. The server was great. I’d eat here again for sure.

We were driving by on Highland and saw Osteria 832...we stopped in for dinner and it was great! Our server Glen J. was very friendly and took the time to descibe the specials. We had the spagetti and meatball and the chicken with linguine...both very tasty! We will be back again to try the pizzas! If you park on the side of the restaurant you get complimentary parking if you are no longer than an hour and a half...a nice incentive if we had known about it before we parked on the other side of the street.

We walked in on a Wednesday evening and got right in. The service was excellent. The dinners were good, but nothing special. The portions were fine and it was reasonably priced. One major problem was that they have zero parking. You basically have to find parking along the streets in the Virginia HIghlands neighborhood. You can park in the Ace Hardward parking lot a couple of spaces down, but you have to drive across the street to the CVS parking lot, pay and then come back and park with the sticker in your car. Not very convenient.

Four of us were there on a Friday night it was crowded but many tables were available we sat outside and it was enjoyable. The pasta dish we had was very good but the salad was good but not as advertised. Fresh greens, seasonal fruit, fennel and nuts were listed but it was a small plate of greens, no fennel, fruit was apple wish was n ot even a full bite sliced so thin you could see light through it, and the nuts were pecans in tiny pieces you could not of covered a nickel with. I don't think I've ever ordered pasta when it was not served with bread but if you want bread you can order a basket of bread for $5.00. I want be back.

We traveled to Atlanta to visit my son and daughter in law for the weekend. Osteria is one of their favorite Italian restaurants. Food was fabulous!!! Will definitely go back.

The food at Osteria is good. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmesan, and another pasta dish with blue cheese (can't remember the name). All the dishes were very well seasoned and tasty. Our waiter was great. He was friendly and took time to answer questions. There are a couple of reasons why I did not give Osteria 5 stars. The hostess was unfriendly - bordering on rude. In fact, I was a bit taken aback when we asked for a table and got a blank stare back at us. We almost walked out, but we had heard good things about the food and were exhausted from traveling all day. I noticed later that she was not the only hostess working that evening and perhaps she was there to assist the other hostess. We may have just taken her off guard when she was left alone at the hostess stand. The other minor issue was the table was not completely cleaned when the hostess seated us. It had crumbs all over the table. We were there on a Sunday evening and I'm sure it had been a long day by the time we arrived so the place looked a little disheveled. The food was good so if you're ever in Virginia Highland and are looking for decent Italian food with a low key environment then this is your place, otherwise; I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.

The service was fast and friendly, varied menu, delicious pasta dishes! Portions are generous without being overwhelming.

There were 6 of us on a Friday night after graduation and were seated quickly even though they were quite busy.. We were greeted promptly by a pleasant server who answered all our questions and continued to offer great service. The food was delicious and atmosphere was great. If I come back to Atlanta I would definitely visit this restaurant.
BRUNCH!
Great place for brunch. Great selection and yummy yummy food! We frequent here because it's not too busy for brunch and we can actually get in without a line.
