very good with friendly and efficient staff

By Christopher & Ken |

Wonderful staff, good food, and enjoyable atmosphere. They don't have a liquor license but totally encourage BYOB. The arancini were very good, as was the Caesar salad with chicken. The squid ink risotto was good but a bit over-done (not in the cooking but in presentation). There were squid (perfectly cooked) and mussels included in the dish - which were fine. But there was also a good amount of smoked salmon on the top of the dish. That made no sense to me. I don't think it went with or enhanced the dish. In fact, the intense saltiness of smoked salmon detracted from the more subtle flavors of the risotto. The risotto itself was cooked just right.

New Restaurant Week find!

By Ritch |

We are always looking for new places in Philly. We were seated upstairs and our server was great. I asked her about a few dishes and she suggested the crab capellini; it was super with lotsa crab meat. The caprese was also good and so were the artichokes. They bake their own bread and it was hot and delicious. We can't wait to go back. BYOB too.

Worst italian food in philly

By Olivia L |

Probably the worst meal I have ever had in Philly. No exaggerations, it was disgusting mushy frozen slop nothing about it was good or Italian.

to forget...

Service null, the dish arrives while we are in the middle of the entrance??? no aperitif because no alcohol risotto tasteless And dessert, chocolate mousse, never seen such consistency, unmolded on a plate.... In short, cheap, not good

Plenty of other choices

Plenty of better choices. They are obviously understaffed; orders seemed forgot, took long, came out in random order. My dish, crab gemekki was one if the blandest italian dishes i’ve eaten. Gnocchi was…ok, as was the risotto. Byob which is known but unless youre toting your favorate libation, its a pain! What if youre traveling? Such a shame as I dont get back to Philly much and had alot of other such places to choose from.

Great dinner in Philly

My wife and I and our friends had dinner here on a recent visit to Philly. The food and service were very good. The prices were reasonable, as well.

A centrally located and good restaurant.

Big menu with a lot of options. The food portions were large and reasonable value for money. I thought the presentation and taste was ok. Unfortunately this restaurant does not serve alcohol so BYO.

Great food and service, lovely atmosphere

We made reservations here during restaurant week and because of this, the menu was fixed at a certain price with automatic gratuity, which took me by surprise. Our food was delicious and was served quickly. Our server was very personable and attentive. Would recommend to others.

Ok

Pizza looks nothing like pictures. Flat crust, possibly premade. Prosciutto salty. Tuna rare but, overdone with salty blackening seasoning.
