Absolutely the highlight of my trip to Austin. Emma and Courtney were the best at the rooftop , and the service was amazing. I highly recommend the rooftop for an unforgettable experience!

Friendly and welcoming service! Liz and the staff really worked hard to prep for an incoming storm while taking care of all the bar guests. Then we all watched the weather roll in!

Fun cocktail menu with upscale appetizers and great energy! Bar is pool side and overlooking the cityscape of Austin. Kelly treated us to wonderful cocktails, great conversation and lives and loves the local Austin scene. A must stop if you are visiting or staying at the AC Hotel or The Otis in the university district. Try a pomegranate margarita or ask Kelly for her signature pineapple tequila “Kelly special.” Request it spicy for a Jalapeño kick!

I came Austin and was recommended this rooftop bar and it absolutely blew my expectations away! They were so busy and our server Emma was fantastic!! She was very knowledgeable and was able to to help as I am super indecisive decide what I wanted. She was extremely fast, always had a smile on her face, super professional and was always on top of it! Highly recommend this bar and REQUEST EMMA!!!!

Despite the 101° weather, Juan and Liz greeted me with smiles and incredible Customer Service! They made sure that I had exactly what I wanted to eat and drink all night and went the extra mile! The space itself is lovely with great music and a couple video screens. It also has panoramic views of downtown Austin! Not to be missed.

Christy went above and beyond we really enjoyed the rooftop experience and it made our anniversary extra special with the Polaroid picture!!

My husband came to Austin for a last minute weekend getaway! The Otopia Rooftop Bar at the Otis Hotel was awesome! Christy was our poolside waitress and she was absolutely wonderful! She was very attentive and the drinks were perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel and the Otopia!

Was indubitably the most cordial staff I’ve dealt with in Austin thus far, the roof top ambiance was both invigorating and rejuvenating. The grass was artificial but soft to the touch 👈🏽🤠👉🏻

Rooftop bar for the win! But to be blunt- you can can get drinks anywhere. You CANNOT get drinks with a view like this or world class service from Kelly and Emma if you go anywhere else. The service was top notch- indicative of 5 star resorts. Attentive, hand crafted, beautiful and delightful staff. Couldn’t be any happier!!!! I will be back for sure - ask Kelly if they have any house specials- she made me a wonderful cucumber ranch eater that has changed my life. I am a new man

The Rooftop was a great place for a Happy Hour with our server Ayden! Perfect views, great drinks & Sushi.

I had the BEST EXPERIENCE at the rooftop restaurant at the Otis hotel. Arianna was our server and she gave great drinks recommendations and provided amazing service. She is so fun and conversation. Give this girl a raise!!!

The entire staff was amazing. If you have the chance, ask for the bartender Madison. Honorable mentions include Victoria, Kelly, Amanda, and Courtney. Cannot stress how good of a time I had. Will DEFINITELY be coming here again!

We stayed at the hotel and were able to enjoy pre and post dinner drinks. Perhaps it was the season, but the rooftop bar was quiet both times and we almost had it to ourselves. The view during sunset is very nice, and goes well with a mixed drink. Bartenders and servers were all very friendly (we tipped well in response) and helpful with advice about what to do in Austin. It may get more crowded when there are more people in the hotel, but on Parents' weekend we had no trouble finding a place to enjoy the sunsets. Get a mixed drink, the bartenders really know their craft.

Made the trip up to the rooftop and ordered a drink pretty quickly. Bartender was friendly. Drink was just ok. Ordered a sushi roll, and then never got it after 30min of waiting. Surprised by that, because it wasn’t even that busy. It’s a lovely setting, but not a place I would recommend based on poor service.

Otopia is a great place to visit day or nighy. Nice pool, great view and exceptional service. Food is great appetizers and they will get desserts from main restaurant. Service by Trent and Olivia was off the hook. Really great spot to rekax with family and friends.

Drove to austin 24hrs straight from LA for sxsw. arrived at otopia exausted and thirsty. Jerome was kind, funny, professional and a joy to hang with while acclimating to a new place. We had a little bit of difficulty getting up to the bar since we have to be let up by an employee, but once we got to the roof the view of downtown was AMAZING! Our server was Victoria, and she gave us all great drink recommendations and did was good at tracking us down as we moved around throughout the restaurant. I would definitely come back here, the decor was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the vibes were immaculate.

I went to Otopia two nights ago and Madi and Jerome at the bar helped me out. My boyfriend and I wanted a night out, and we ordered the tuna wonton tacos and salmon poke. It was totally delicious and matched our cold surroundings outside. The view was insane and they had some space heaters to make the place more cozy.

Shouts out to my girl Paula for making this night truly special. She went above and beyond by offering us great company and great vibes

This was our first team get together post COvid. Amazing atmosphere, the views and the sunset are amazing and the crew/staff (Victoria, Angel, Ayden, Emma) were wonderful. Loved their sense of humor and energy :-)

In town for F1 and went up for a drink. Jerome the bartender especially was awesome and the stars are really for him. Even managed to get us starving folks some food while the kitchen was technically closed. Drinks were great also! Will be back for sure.

We came up here for the first time & the bartender Jerome was super cool. He gave great recommendation for food/drinks. Although I only got a n Old Fashion, he made it perfect. Old Fashions are how I gage it the service and bartenders are good and worth coming back.

I had such a wonderful time visiting the rooftop bar Otopia. The manager, Emma, was very helpful with our menu selections for snacks and cocktails. Everything came out quick and was super delicious. Emma even offered to take a picture of us! I will be back to enjoy Otopias lovely atmosphere, tasty treats and phenomenal service soon!

My wife’s Birthday is complete because of Kelly and Sarah and the whole team made our Sunset party perfect, great service, good food, awesome teamwork, all during a Home UT game that we were not aware of but made it even more festive!

Victoria offered prompt, exceptional service. We ordered an aviation cocktail with Mezcal, and they were able to swap out some of the sweet liqueurs for a raspberry liquor and it came out just fine. I’ll admit that I didn’t love the house bourbon, as I felt it was below the level of a decent bourbon. We ordered wag you beef tartare that was delicious. The views are unparalleled of the city, and on a warm night, it is absolutely beautiful. Even if it’s a little chilly, find a seat at the fire pit, and get cozy.

After a long week, I went to have a drink(1) at Otopia and the waitress Paula made our night. No Angel was also helping her with out drinks and We ended up staying until close with their delicious drinks. Such a good ambience, service and cocktails!! Definitely, I’ll stay and come here again.

Was a bit surprised at the ranking given all that Austin has to offer, but definitely an enjoyable experience during our visit. After a long, hot day of exploring the city, we donned our swimsuits for a dip in the rooftop pool. We arrived at golden hour and was informed by our courteous and friendly poolside server there were specials. We opted for the tuna roll and the crab roll. Both were delicious. The sunset was quite nice and will visit again when in the area.

Rice bowl tasted fresh. Would it kill you to put sauce? Sesame paste, miso, spicy Mayo, rice vinegar, ponzu, or literally anything to bring this dry bowl together? I'll give 5 stars if you can add sauce

My husband and I went to Otopia for appetizers and tasty drinks. Ayden was our server and was beyond polite and attentive, but not overly so. We had the Korean BBQ and Korean chips along with a Cosmic Dancer, made by Victoria; all spectacular. Ayden was kind, cute, and curteous. Would dine here again.

Otopia is my go-to while in West Campus. The views can’t be beat and the people here are genuine. Jerome and his crew always here for a great conversation. Perfect place to relax and wrap up emails after a long day.

The Otopia features an incredible rooftop view and pool, but what really shines is the friendly and engaging service. My new friend Jerome poured terrific drinks and shared stories and wisdom of Austin and beyond. He and Emma helped make my afternoon a perfect mixture of cocktails, relaxation, and fun.

We were not able to experience Otopia due to weather. However, we still had an excellent date night, thanks to Jason. We drove down for the Movie Monday event and we were disappointed to hear that it was cancelled. We had driven downtown for this event and we were sad we had not received a notice of the cancellation before arriving. However, Jason was very apologetic and absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond for us. He provided some wine (Merlot, which was delicious and I might be going back just to get some more) along with making a last minute reservation to their restaurant, Acres 41. We really enjoyed our time at the location and just wanted to make sure Jason was acknowledge for his amazing customer service and for making sure we had a great evening!

The food, the drinks, the seating, from the time I sat down until the time I left, I felt decadent. Such a stunning view. The food was amazing, I had the chicken club sandwich which literally melted in your mouth. And definitely try the wine slushies!

The rooftop lounge has a chill vibe with a great view. The bartender, Jerome, and waitstaff are super-friendly and gave us great recommendations for hidden gems around the city to enhance our time in Austin. Also accommodated a colleague with gluten allergies and helped her find a drink to suit her tastes. Bonus: the sushi here is better than you’d expect for a lounge. Usually places like this coast on scenery and skimp on quality but the Chef is amazing and cuisine - while limited - is great.

Igloo service was amazing. Our server was Victoria who was absolutely amazing. Could not ask for a more friendlier, enjoyable server. Go see her!

Friends from out of town had gathered and were kicking off the weekend with some of our favorite beverages. Victoria did the mixing and Ayden provided the service...they were fun and engaging, the right level of attentiveness. The venue had spectacular views, and the sunset last evening was worthy of the view.

The Otopia is one cool new spot. It is a very spacious roof top bar with class. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant this year. Emma was the manager on duty, so I would like to send her my appreciation. Thanks you to all the serving staff as well, they get down!!

So I made a reservation and I was 30 minutes late I came here 20 minutes before the kitchen close in Jerome assist me in ordering food and drinks and made sure that they were to the highest of qualities I will definitely be back the atmosphere is so chill even though it was cold outside they had heaters going in the liquor was flowing and I really had a good time the food is minimum but delicious the menu is small

After getting to town and almost every room being sold out, the Otis was able to accommodate me.. of course this included access to the Rooftop Bar Otopia… yalllllll let me tell you! I had thheeee most perfect martini made by Ariana and the best server Ayden! When I say they take care of you! Come see them and ask for them by name! They took care of a weary business traveler, and they are definitely the reason I will be back!!

Finally decided to check this place out and let me tell you… beautiful views and an amazing staff! My friend and I started at the bar and had a fun conversation and got solid drink recommendations with Courtney and Ferman (self-titled the Turkish Delight). After it got more crowded we moved to a table where both Victoria and Ariana took great care of us and made sure to include us in their rounds even if our drinks were still full just to check on us and say hi. Will definitely be visiting next time I’m in town!

Paula was awesome during our post-F1 time at Otopia, juggling kids mocktail orders, food, and drinks. Great attitude and amazing service. And, when we encountered an issue with the app, Emma went and grabbed food from the burger place downstairs for us!

Jerome was awesome! Took great care of us up at the bar and poolside. Drinks were mixed perfectly and the food was on point! We are heading back there tomorrow.

Here on a 3 day project, let me tell you great way to end the night. Excellent service, great views and some of the best food I've had at a Marriott yet.

We visited the roof top bar a few times during our stay but on Sunday, December 12, 2021, we met Ferman and he was a great bartender and host. We enjoyed his company while we enjoyed the great drinks he prepared for us. We are definitely coming back soon to enjoy the views from the rooftop bar.

My daughter bought me an "igloo" experience for my birthday. From their website this is what she THOUGHT she was buying: Details Igloo comes with: a complimentary build-your-own hot chocolate station complimentary cookies for your party complimentary polaroid pictures games vinyl record players with your favorite holiday tunes. Designated server for your party Monday night holiday movie The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular. Valet parking was very convenient. The igloo was pretty. Yes there were 2 games and a record player with 2 vinyls. There was no movie. And yes we were there on a Monday eve But the hot chocolate station? Seriously? How can you possibly call 2 Swiss Miss packets, a handful of mini marshmallows and 3 candy canes a DIY hot chocolate station (see enclosed photo). Why bother? The cold cookies were ok. But 6 for a party of 7? Ugh. Yes the server did bring more when we pointed that out. Polaroid pictures? We got 1, with only 4 of the 7 people actually in the photo. And I am not sure what they meant by designated server. What we got was 1 absolutely delightful young lady that was working the ENTIRE roof top bar area alone. So while we certainly enjoyed our time with the family & the lovely view it was a ridiculous waste of $$ and not worth the effort to get there. And certainly did not match their event description. While I won't say it was false advertising it's pretty darn close.

Great food, Amazing service, chill vibe!!! We went up to the rooftop bar to kill some time and were so pleasantly surprised.

Jerome customer service is amazing! He’s very nice and attentative and made sure me and my friend had everything we needed! I will be back for another night out with my girls!

So much fun at the Otopia! Ayden took care of us and we had a great time! We had a large group and he took care of everything, kept the drinks coming and split the bill accurately! Definitely recommend and will be back!

Otopia has beautiful views and exceptional service. Christy is an awesome and attentive bartender. Great experience and I highly recommend it!

This was an amazing experience! It was a great surprise. The setup, drinks, food and service were all great! Victoria was our server, and she was so sweet and timely! ;) I would love to come again and have her for a server. Again, great experience! :)
