Enjoyed my pizza. So tasty and delicious. Large pie under $10. It was worth stopping by. Had been wanting to go there for a long time. If Will Smith thinks it's good, I had to try it. :-) Phoned in my order and it was ready quickly. Staff were personable and nice.

This goes way back - but for me - Overbrook Pizza invented the Pizza Steak - using real mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and then baking it in their pizza oven to just the right degree.

I used to visit this place when I lived in Philadelphia which was about 25 years ago. Cheesesteaks is still phenomenal the bread is extremely fresh the cheese provolone melted nicely over the chopped steak I always get mine as a hoagie with lettuce tomato mayonnaise grilled onions. The same two brothers that I knew years ago still run this place love it! Do yourself a favor forget the parking downtown for the cheese whiz that's typically put on Cheesesteaks you got to go here take it from me a foodie and a cheesesteak critic

This is definitely a local place to get Philly cheesesteaks. While we were waiting on ours to be prepared at least a dozen locals came in to pick up their to go orders. First he layers the cheese on the bread and puts it in the brick oven for about a minute to melt the cheese. Then he pours on layers of steak, peppers and onions, mushrooms etc. My sister and I both agree it was fantastic. I might go get another one today!! Owner was very nice and conversational. His shop has the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest Philly cheesesteak sandwich and has also won several annual awards for the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Better than Genos and Pats by a landslide!!!

Will Smith says they're the best. They are good but not the best. After a four-hour ride there we found out that It's take out only...no seats. We were very disappointed, no restrooms either.

I grew up in Overbrook and they opened in 1980. I know the family they are very sweet and the food is awesome!!! I love the vegetable stromboli the most!!! When you order it is only take out. They are right around the corner from Overbrook Train station and St. Joe University has housing in the the immediate area. So keep all this in mind when there is a game on tv but We have never waited more than 25 minutes for our order. It is not because they know me because the don't know me. They know my mom and dad and brother but I show up without calling and order in person. There are no seats when you wait but I take that opportunity to go for a walk or chat with the owner who only remembers me when I tell him my dad's name. They are good people and the food is done well.

By far my favorite cheesesteak in West Philly! No cheese wiz here, good ole' fashion only, I included pics of my favorite with extra cheese, fried onions and ketchup, as well as the mushroom cheesesteak with fried onions. My family literally orders from them twice a week. The pizza is not good as Vincent's nearby, but the steaks, calzones and hoagies are always excellent, so if you're waiting for the R5 at the Overbrook station, definitely stop in for a bite to go for your ride!

As someone who has grown up in this area, I know what authentic steak sandwichs, hoagies and pizzas are, and that's what you get at Overbrook. The food is great and well-priced. I like that I can call in an order or just stop by. They also deliver!

A quick meal at a nearby hospital became a epicurean delight when sharing the special pizza. Heaping layers of vegetables and tasty meats over a crispy dough provided substance for the long night ahead. Delivery was quick and precise. A great find in the Overbrook neighborhood.

This is hands down the best pizza shop in Philadelphia. The pizza dough and sauce are both unique in flavor and taste. Their cheesesteaks, chicken wings and tenders, salads and hoagies are also pretty darn good as well. Everything here is pretty awesome and delicious!!!!! Don’t let this little shop fool you from all the construction and things happening around it. This place is definitely worth the trip!!!!! The only flaw is they are not open late.

Overbrook Pizza, is simply the best pizza around. The sauce has an attitude, not too spicy, but not the red tasteless stuff you get from the other 6 in the neighborhood. They were one of the very first. But it’s not just the sauce, but what goes on it, also the pest tasting toppings- you can’t go wrong here. For the best taste pick the pizza up at the shop. — but you all know that delivery takes time and heat. They also have salads, fried stuff and hoagies. For something truly different, try a Chicken finger hogie with parmigiana cheese, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers and hot mustard — sounds strange, but you will love it. They have a large customer base from St Joseph Univ and our neighborhood for good reason. You won’t be disappointed.

Good evening, I was trying to find a way to review Overbrook Pizza in Philadelphia, PA, I tried to sign up but kept getting an error. I am new here and I called in an order 12/3/2017 at 7:45pm. I called at 8:40 pm and they say 10 more minutes. At 9:10 pm I called an they seemed to be clueless, would not give a discount or and apologies and said wait another 10 minutes. I am upset, because I was excited to receive the food I ordered and my first experience ordering here and this was the horrid service I received. Thank You!

Very slow delivery and the Owner is very nasty with customers. I placed an order for a medium pizza at 6:15 I was told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. I never received my pizza and I please 57 calls to Overbrook pizza embarrass phone with straight to voicemail when I got to the store to find out where was my food the owner told me Bet he took the phone off the hook because they are very busy item home I’ve been calling for the past 40 minutes because my food is not came in he said well what can I tell you were busy I’ve been told Tom he shouldn’t take the phone off the hook because he’s a business and people are home waiting for their food to get delivered and we have no way of contacting the store to find out where my food was he then said he’s been in business for 40 years and you do what you want it’s his store I then told him to keep the pizza. Below it a picture of 57 calls to the store with no answer I got to the store at 7:50 pm and my order was placed at 6:15 that’s an hour and 35 minutes wait with no clue Owner is Very rude Every time they make mistakes

the absolute best cheesteak in philly. great pizza, gyro etc. very friendly, good service we order lunch once a week and they always get it right, so many place screw up the order
