Before a concert at Wells Fargo, we walked from parking lot "F" on 11th st. to Xfiinity Live and ate at PBR bar and grill. We ordered side salads and a southwest chicken wrap which were surprisingly tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. Before we were seated, we had 2 red apple ales and 2 Fireball shots for $28, which is priced on par for the venue. During our meal, we got some hilarious entertainment watching the young college students ride the mechanical bull.

Only serve two wines. Pinot Grigio was flavorless. Meals tasted like they came out of a frozen food package from the Dollar Store. Dips and sauces had no flavor. Chips were bland and low quality. Artichoke dip flavorless. Are you seeing a trend here? Complete waste of money. Don’t waste your time

Only had drinks here but it was a lot of fun. There's a bull to ride, patio area and a bandstand. It;s inside this huge sports complex that I highly recommend if you like a good bar scene.

The venue handled lunch for maybe 100 Mason's and assistants, as they competed for the title of Best Bricklayer in the region, with a chance at the nationals in Las Vegas. Lunch was hamburgers, hot dogs, salads condiments, and plenty of water. Good far for a hot day, after hard work. Pictures below

PBR is a fun spot, but the music is always way too loud. They do play good music. Bartenders are friendly and the bull is always a good time.

When you enter The PBR Bar you know you are going to be entertained. The servers and the guests don't hold back in this place. Not a bad place to do some day drinking before a sporting event or any weekend night. Would probably skip the food and stick to beer from my personal experience. Out of the several bars in Xfinity Live facility this is my favorite.

Drinking beer from a cowboy boot served by a beautiful waitress, what is there not to like about that?! Really enjoyed this bar, the drinks were. Ice and served by the friendly staff but the chicken wings were amazing - probably the best I have ever had. The bar has a mechanical bull in the middle of it and is very popular on game day with plenty of laughs. Highly recommended bar.

Have eaten here before and the food and drinks have been good. Used to have a cocktail menu, not anymore. Ordered a Blue Moon, no orange available? If the server had said no oranges I would have changed my drink order. Husband enjoyed chicken wrap, my food was ok, nothing special. Mainly only got poor rating because our server was annoyed that we weren't ready to order immediately and then when we were ready she was annoyed because there were other tables besides ours. Took about 25 minutes for our food to come out after we had already seen it go to 2 other tables before coming to our table. Will still go to Xfinity but go somewhere other than the PBR to eat.

Stpper in for something to eat before a sporting event. The entire Xfinity Live building was packed. There was a 30 to 45 min wait for a table in several of the other places. There was no wait at PBR. After being seated we waited about 15 mins and had to stop somneoen to ask for our server. Once we were able to place our order the food came out relatively quickly. We had a Chicken sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. The food was very good and the server was attentive once the order was placed. I would go back again but alot more time if I was there before another event. Limited selction of beer which surprised me. Only the "traditional" budget beers available. We were looking for Stella, Molson, or Amsdale light. Not available.

XFINITY Live is a great place to stop before, during and after all the various events at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia. It's fun to pick up on the high energy of the 20 something- 30 something crowd that frequents the venue. Music or sports noises are blasting and the atmosphere is generally loudly upbeat. PBR is my favorite because of the country tinge to the menu, the extremely friendly staff and, of course, the free rides on the mechanical bull. (After you fill out all kinds of disclaimers in case of injury). They try to convey an atmosphere of Toby Keith meets country girl meets rodeo...not easy to do in Philadelphia, of course. Besides the ribs etc. there is the usual Philadelphia-type tavern menu. It's not cheap, but it is cheaper to eat and drink there than it is in the stadium.

PBR is located in Xfinity and is styled after a western bar. There is Coors Light branding to the place and they even have a mechanical bull. That is where the west ends. My wife ordered nachos and had to specifically ask for meat to be added. Having chicken or pork put on the nachos is an additional $3. In a very un-western fashion, there is not beef available for nachos. Nobody west of the Mississippi River does that! As it turns out, the chicken that my wife ordered for her nachos was not even put on, as ordered. The place wasn’t busy, so there really wasn’t a reason to forget. Look at the picture of the nachos and see how pathetic they were. Others in the group had burgers and stated that they were OK. My overall impression is that this place is an expensive façade of something it is not.

PBR Bar and Grille is located in the Xfinity Live complex. I only come down here prior to sporting events and all of Xfinity Live is always packed. I would only recommend bringing a family with children down here if it's a couple hours before game time. Otherwise, it's a fun and lively place to spend time with friends and to let the beer flow like wine. PBR has some very unique characteristics. It's decorated like a country western bar, and I enjoy country western. There are two bars and both get pretty packed. They have someone actually controlling the music playlist. It's a nice mix of country and other top 40 songs. The pitchers of beer are not served in pitchers, but more like yard tall cylinders with a tap. The central focus of PBR is the mechanical bull. This is where you can make or break your manhood....literally. The menu is limited and it contains most of your typical bar foods. The food is okay. I've had better and I've had worse. I would recommend PBR for a fun night out with friends.

All of Xfinity Live can be fun. It is like a large conference hall setup where all of the bars are within the same building. If there is a big event this place gets crowded. On normal baseball games a smaller crowd. PBR is a country type bar but they do a good job mixing the music for those who don't want to listen to only country. Chances are you will see a drunk girl falling off a bull, during peak times or at night do not bring younger kids to Xfinity.

After waiting 45 minutes for our food it came out cold. We walked out! I could go into a longer story here but the title of this review says enough. We went before a concert and it wasn't that crowded.

Stopped in before the Springsteen concert. Only 1/2 hour wait. The food was good and the service was too. It was very loud but we didn't plan on staying long anyway. Overall it's a good place to grab a bite before a game or show.

We stopped into PBR Bar & Grille before the Guns 'N Roses concert because it was the only place we thought we'd get a chance of getting any food in time before the start of the show. I didn't think it would work, but a friendly bartender waived us over to the bar and took care of everything. She said she'd get our orders delivered right to the bar, and we could eat there. It worked! She kept us in drinks, and I had a wonderful cheeseburger with fries...it was yummy! While we ate, the staff kept the diners amused with the "mechanical bull" ride which kept throwing people off at will. (No thank you.) But is was fun, and would be a great place to stop for drinks either before or after a game. I highly recommend this place.

we stopped by before the Cubs Philly's game for dinner because we saw a couple of good reviews on TA. what a mistake. the service was terrible and the food was bland, dry and chewy. We both ordered the spicy chicken wrap and what we got was sliced chicken breast that you would get at your deli. it was dry and had no flavor. we thought we got the wrong order but were told it was correct. there was more of the wrap than there was meat. by the time I got done chewing the food my jaw hurt.

HA!! We entered because of the name and my husband was expecting a PBR! Well we got even better than that! Professional Bull Riding!! It was hysterical! Andy and Paul were are bartenders and they were awesome. Food was great! Can't wait to go back!

My daughter and I went there before a concert, and it was the only restaurant with immediate (outdoor) seating. Our waitress was very attentive, so the poor rating is just because of the food. There's something not right about the hamburger - only half got eaten, which is abnormal for my daughter! The cheesy tots were just OK. I ordered the nachos with chicken, and when it was served, I thought they'd forgotten to add the chicken, it was so sparse. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was on <10% of the chips. In fact, the ONLY topping that was generous was the cheese sauce. It was like there was a tablespoon of beans, a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes, and a tiny amount of chicken, which included a bone. Yuck.

The music was a little loud(and I was there for the Metallica concert lol). Not really a complaint, just a suggestion to lower the volume a bit. The staff was very friendly, our waitress was very attentive, and the food rocked. I give it a 10,and I'll definitely be back again.

We stopped for a cocktail or two and a bite before a nearby concert; the place is bustling with a mixed crowd and a staff who can handle it. We sat at the bar while waiting for an open table; by the time we finished our 1st drink, a table was ready. I ordered a cosmo and I've had much better; it was cloudy, didn't taste much like a cosmo and wasn't even served in a martini glass! The menu has a nice selection and our food was fresh and very good. There are plenty of screens arounds to keep yourselves entertained or watch other patrons ride the mechanical bull; it's a lot of fun. Food is moderately priced but drinks were a bit high for what we got!

A very cool bar to stop and drink and grab a bite to eat before a game or concert. Outside fire pits are awesome on a cool night. Always a good time to see the idiots try and ride the mechanical bull in the center of the bar ! Located in Xfinity.

PBR is a great place to watch games and listen to music. This bad gets very crowded so arrive early.

The waitresses were only wearing cowboy boot, chaps, and some skimpy lingerie with tee shirts when I visited!! It is hard to watch them ride the bucking bull in those outfits without focusing on the target!!

We went to PBR for pre concert dinner/drinks which was recommended by a friend...this place is really not our scene at all. We're not audience participation kind of people. PBR is a total bubble gum country bar, mechanical bull & all. Maybe for the 20 somethings this is a cool place, I just don't see it. It's showing some wear and tear and the staff likes to stand around the mechanical bull playing with their cell phones. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. The menu is limited pre-fab bar food. We went with a chopped grilled chicken salad and a buger and chips. The food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular and it came out pretty quickly but the drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Twelve dollar Bloody Mary? C'mon! I know its the city but cripes! Our bill was over $80 for a salad, burger 2 bloody mary's and a couple beers. I woud guess that it would be typical at all the other bars/restaurants in the xfinity complex. Two words. DRIP DRY. You know what I'm talking about. I just love to have to ask a stranger in a public bathroom if they have a square to spare. Be prepared for a lack of TP ladies. It's a convient place to grab dinner before a show as it's in the same lot as the sports complex. Just keep your expectations on the low side. I was not impressed and I would not go back.

Fun bar within Xfinity Live. Very casual dress code, plus they have an electronic bull you can ride!

This bar was a lot off fun. It's located at the xfinity live complex. The bull ride will give you lots of exciting entertainment. The waitresses walk around with assless chaps. The drink prices are reasonable but the lack of food available for purchase definitely needs to be fixed. Also the waitress service here is absolutely terrible.
After Phillies game night cap.
We were very surprised with this place. It was small but the dancers were beautiful. Everyone was riding the bull. Beers were reasonable,
