Ordered Cobb salad and house salad. Two decafe coffees. Added goat cheese and avocado to house salad. Bill was a little expensive. Salads were adequate. Not enough goat cheese or avocado. It was nice to sit outside and see the Ride the Duck tours go by with the people singing.

I wouldn't normally eat at a museum restaurant as they are typically over priced, but our feet were SO tired. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, a Seattle hot dog, two sodas and a croissant and, as expected, the bill was high ($31). If you can get over the sticker shock though, the food is really, really good. My hot dog had carmelized onions and what I think was cream cheese. Yes, I know, super weird, right? But, actually was really good. My son said the bread on his sandwich was just the way he likes it (oh, and what was inside the bread was good too!). Each came with homemade potato chips which were also good. The croissant was tasty and flaky, as they should be. If the price were a little lower, I'd give this place five stars. $10 for a hot dog though might be a bit high even considering how good it was.

We sat at the bar and ordered beer and sandwiches after a cross country flight. The restaurant is located right in the lobby of the EMP museum. The bar tender was polite and not overly attentive. They had an excellent local craft beer selection and the food was decent.

Stumbled upon this amazing little place during our walk around Seattle centre. Creative menu with finger licking good food. I had their salmon chowder (deadly) and grilled cheese (everything you'd ever want) and my husband had their burger and fries (steal worthy). Quick service and great atmosphere as it is in the EMP museum. Loved that we got to see the Lombardi trophy as well. Well worth the stop

We loved the thin crispy pizza in here, especially the sweet potato and sage. Coupled up with some root beers, it was just what we needed after seeing everything in the EMP

We took a break at this eatery after visiting the EMP museum and it was a good surprise. The food was fresh and yummy. The service nice. We tried the veggan wrap, the grilled cheese and the pizza. Everything was a success.

We ate here about midway thru our tour of the EMP and had mixed reviews of the food. The butternut squash soup was pretty good, the fries were crispy and delicious although not very garlicky or parmesan cheesy. The burgers were not very well received, one of my sons couldn't eat his, and the other said it was so greasy it left him feeling nauseated. The homemade potato chips the burgers are served with were really good. I would have preferred to order a sandwich with my soup, but, they only offer sourdough bread which makes me sick, so, that's something to keep in mind. We would eat here again if we were toddling around the EMP, but, probably not the burgers, although I really enjoyed the potato chips & would order them and the soup again.

Was at the EMP and was wildly surprised to find that the little place to get some grub was really pretty good. Usually when you go to an attraction the cafes are usually so so. Not this place. Found it a nice place to take a break and get some good food.

We had visited the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which was super (across the street). The burger was great but expensive. Chips were delicious and crispy. We also split the arugala salad which was huge! The kids had pb&j and loved it. Served with fresh fruit on the side.

We ate lunch here during out visit to EMP museum and it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten at any type of museum. Normally I would not have elected to eat at a museum but the fun and inviting decor lured us in and I'm glad it did. They also have a full bar if you feel you need an adult beverage. If you're visiting the EMP museum you can't do much better then this place for lunch.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the drinks available in this museum cafe. Not cheap, but certainly not bad.

We were enjoying the EMP museum but it was lunch time and we had an early dinner reservation so delaying lunch would have been an awful plan. My wife suggested we simply avail ourselves of this option, located as it is in the museum. And so we did, Tip number one: is everyone in your party over 21? Instead of standing in a long line to order at the register, you may sit at the bar and get your food and drink. So we saved a lot of wait time. My wife got an iced tea (a little early in the day for her to start on the booze) and a sausage-and-peppers grinder, about which she proclaimed: best ever, what she'd been hoping to find for years! It came with potato chips which plainly are made in-house from scratch; she shared and I enjoyed greatly. My philosophy was: I'm on vacation, so I got one of their signature cocktails, all named to honor famous rock music--mine was the Voodoo Child, essentially an excellent cucumber martini with a little ginger liqueur subtly in it--very good, I musrt try to re-creare this one at home. I got one of the lunch specials, a quiche Lorraine. It was fine, and the salad that joined it was most excellent with robust greens, carrot shreds, nice tomato and cucumber, well dressed. If you need a lunch in this area, here's a great option!

We found this gem on our way to the Space Needle during our recent trip to Seattle. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is really interesting since it sits adjacent to the EMP Museum. We both had the Cali Burger, delicious!

While visiting the EMP, we got hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat. The only restaurant I noticed outside was McDonald's so we opted to eat at the museum restaurant POP. We were so glad we did. Their prices were about the same as other musuem cafes, but man was the food good. Actually better than good. It was great. My daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich, I had the four cheese pizza. It was so good that if it was closer to our hotel, we would have gone there again.

Staff were all chitchatting with each other when I walked in wanting to buy some chips and a drink. The person who finally helped me was quiet and understated. It was just not professional but it was the morning. Maybe it gets better during the day.

As it was raining I stopped into POP after my visit to the EMP. I was very pleasently surprised by the choice of food & drinks, the service & the quality of food. I got the asian salad with chicken added & the favours were really good. I'd recommend if you are in the area and fancy something other than McDonalds or Starbucks

Did you know you can leave the EMP and come back? Please do if you'd like to eat. A grilled cheese sandwich, cup of clam chowder, bratwurst, and two cokes for $31? The food was extremely ordinary. Nothing special and not worth $31. I didn't realize that there is a food court a block away from the EMP. I would have gone there.

The food was good and reasonably priced. I had an excellent salad and my son and grand daughter liked their food. I was impressed by the bakery goods.

Pizza was not good, cannot explain it, just didn't quite taste right. Wraps were nice. Garlic Fries were served cold, but the staff immediately fixed that up for us. A bit of a wait, but food was fresh. Good for anyone over 13 in our opinion.

Need a break from walking around and just want to sit back relax and knock back a few. Stop by and let their bartenders delight you with a collection of house specialties that will tickle your taste buds.

We took a break to eat here during exploring EMP museum. Really good food for being a cafe in a museum, decently priced drinks too!

We stopped in at the Pop Kitchen+Bar in the Experience Music Project to grab some lunch after riding "The Duck". The prices were reasonable, so we ordered. I was blown away by the Kobe cheese burger. It was literally the best cheeseburger I've had in years. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for lunch in the area of the Seattle Center. The environment at EMP is obviously so cool. Large screens everywhere and music videos playing at a comfortable volume. I can't wait to eat there again! This restaurant just opened in July 2011.

I stumbled in here during a sunny day thirsting some shade. The service was fast and friendly. They also have an great drink menu with drinks named after rock songs. I wanted to try them all!

I've visited the trendy little restaurant a couple times while at the museum and the food is great. The staff are always friendly and compared to other museum/attraction type restaurants this is the best I've seen. Prices are a bit high but what do you expect at a tourist location like emp?

Yummy food, huge portions served fast! Enjoyed our lunch there isn't a huge menu but what they served was very good, Childs menu for the little ones and a full bar

good selection of very good food (fresh burgers made with Angus beef; interesting & tasty pizza choices; great garlic fries)

Pretty decent food for a decent price, given that it's a tourist attraction. The homemade ranch chips are DELISH. The rest of the food we got was all tasty. We'd eat there again.

I had the California burger which was amazing the patty was cooked perfectly the meat melted in my mouth. The parmasan fries were delicious 3 of my favourite things = perfection. My friend had the roasted vegetable sand which which she loved. But would of prefered fries even though the hand cooked crisps were lovely. Good portion of each and great selection.

We stopped at this bar for a quick lunch before visiting the museum. we were captivated by the personality of Emily the bartender. The bar food was better than average and there was a great selection of local beers we liked it so much that we came back a week later at the end of our vacation

We ordered the Northwest Wrap and the Rainier Smoked Chicken Wrap, both really delicious. The portions were generous, the ingredients fresh and crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Service was quick, and it was entertaining to see all the pictures of music idols from my era hanging on the wall. Thoroughly enjoyed it

We went through the Experience Music Project Museum, we had to stop for lunch at POP. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and professional. It was convenient to all 3 Museums in the area.

Omg after touring the emp museum, we decided to eat here. Absolutely delish! It was a group of 7 of us. We literally cleaned our plates. I had the roasted chicken salad sandwich it was great. My mom had the pork sliders and she loved it. My boys had kids meals and they were gourmet quality, not your usual thawed out tv dinner variety. The wings were soo good, honey garlic I think. Another family had pizza and it was soo cheesy and fresh, my aunt had grilled cheese and soup and it looked soo good (she wouldnt share lol). If you go to the emp museum, I definitely suggest eating here!!

Had a friendly staff although seemed understaffed. Ordered martinis that had way more vermouth than I've ever seen in my life. Ordered the burger well done it was rare. They asked my friend how well done he wanted his chicken, and not in jest. It was okay, a little odd, and the worst martini I've had, Makes me feel bad to say because the bartender was so nice.

One orders at the counter and the food is brought to the table. The staff at POP is very friendly and tries very hard to be accommodating, checking back with us several times to see if everything was all right. And it was all right. The meatball sandwich was pretty good, and so was the grilled cheese. The problem is that the sandwiches aren't worth $14 and $10 respectively. I hope the excess profits go to the museum.

Museum food is usually one thing; providing sustenance. The Pop Cafe is a breathe of fresh air serving outstanding options for every member of your party. Since you can definitely spend a great deal of time at EMP, I was thankful to find this little gem.

Sitting here right now, watching the bartender, Emily. She is a terrific bartender, who takes pride in her work and loves her job!!

we stopped in here for a quick drink before touring the EMP . the staff was very nice and personable. we didnt eat here, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! after we finished with the EMP, we came back for another drink, and ended up having a blast, talking with the bartender (and the other patron at the bar) of what to do while in Seattle. the drinks are a little pricey, but not unheard of- it is a bar in a tourist attraction in the center of a big touristy area after all.

My fiance and I were running late for a date to the EMP, and realized that we were hungry! As an EMP member, we got 10% off at their restaurant, so decided to give it a try. It was packed - Saturday around 3 pm - but we still got exceptional service. It's a Panera-style -- order here, get a number and they'll bring you the food. We both had the Queen Anne Sandwich with their homemade chips. The aioli on the sandwich was what made it! And their chips were really good too. Around the corner they have a full bar where we sat for a beer with our lunch. Great stop!

Got the grilled cheese and garlic fries and I was really happy with my meal--it was tasty and fast. And right at the museum.

Had a very enjoyable late lunch after sight-seeing all day. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was great, drinks reasonable prices. We enjoyed it so much, we went back another day for an early dinner - and we were only in Seattle for 4 days.

Had the BLTA sandwich, a = avocado. Avocado is not a favorite of mine, But I like to try new things, and this was absolutely wonderful! Next time I'm in Seattle I'm going back in ordering it again! Delicious.

We ordered two lunches. Only one arrived. The sandwich was good but the chips were super greasy. When the staff realized they had missed one lunch they were very apologetic. They refunded the lunch and gave us a soup gratis so we could get on our way. Kudos to great staff.

Has a street entrance and an entrance from inside the EMP. Good portions, okay prices. Recommend the garlic fries. Chairs and seating area are comfortable.

Nice place . . . great bar service, food was okay. But not really someplace I will return to for a long, long time to come.

Service was good and staff friendly. Food selection for such a place was poor with a very limited choice and big prices. If I hadn't needed to eat something to keep my blood sugars up I wouldn't have bothered. McDonalds is over the road, and, although I avoid junk food as a rule i would be tempted to go there if that was all there was in the area.

25 minutes and $45 dollars for a couple of grilled cheese. The place was definitely not busy. The food tasted fine, but you can probably do just as well at one of the many nearby eateries (and much cheaper). Would not return.

We wandered into this tourist trap and, although it wasn't busy, we couldn't get a drink. I attempted to get help from someone behind the counter, but he just said to ask someone else.

After walking and walking, we were ready to just stop somewhere to have a cold drink and sit down. Sat at the bar and out of curiosity checked the menu, one of the sandwiches sounded good ( turkey, with onion marmalade) I know, that may not be a normal pairing, but it was great! I actually want one now just by mentioning it!

Whilst at the EMP, this place served us an excellent roast beef sandwich with their own thick kettle-style spiced potato chips and fast friendly service. I'd been here once before and the food is consistently good. Sure the atmosphere is a little like modern cafeteria, but it is perfect in keeping with the overall feeling of EMP; casual, airly, and clean.

There really isn't anything special about this place save for the proximity of you not having to venture outside of the EMP for food. Other than that, the food is average at best (too salty), and for the prices they're charging you need to seat yourself and order at the counter like at a food court. If they lower the prices a bit then it'd definitely be worth it, otherwise skip outside to the Armory food court or to Collections Cafe by the Chihuly Glass Museum for much better options. There are In/Out privileges at the EMP so make use of it!

We sat at the bar for lunch today. Great drink menu! We finally opted for the Strawberry Fields, which was absolutely yummy. And the Ranier smoked chicken wrap with cherries was great. Good service, fun time.

I included a bit of this in my overall review of EMP, but the food here was fantastic, better than any other museum food I've had. They were putting out huge cookies as we got to the register and we couldn't resist. They were delicious. I highly suggest visiting whether or not you visit the museum.

I had a big salad and it was delicious The part that I did not like is the there is no table service. One has to stand in line and place the order and then 'scramble' to find a table. Very busy place within the Museum of Music.

In our visit in Seattle, we stopped off to tour EMC and needed lunch. Our expectations Ed eating at the Pop kitchen were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. They have a healthy kids menu and great salads for the adults. The only drawback is that it is a bit spendy but not unreasonable.

We had a late lunch on a Thursday at POP. The restaurant was relatively quiet. Service was attentive (order at the front, and food is delivered to your table) and we were pleasantly surprized by the menu options. The food was well prepared and tasty. Two of us split a salad and had one sandwich each + one non-alcoholic drink each, and it came to around $40 before tip. We plan to eat here on our next visit, but hopefully during during happy hour (Thurs-Sat 5 to 7 PM) as the pricing is quite good. The EMP has so much to see, it's great to have a reasonable dining option within the building - it also gives one the chance to admire the amazing architecture.

We needed a quick bite before touring the EMP Museum. Thought we'd stop in because of it's convenient location inside the museum. It ended up costing around $80 for 5 of us to have lunch, which isn't bad, but it is high when you're looking for a little bite to eat. But with that being said, try to French dip or the grilled cheese!! YUM!!

The food was good but it seems pretty commercial. If you're at the EMP museum it'd be a good place to eat but I wouldn't recommend a special stop here just for the restaurant. The fresh made chips were pretty delicious though.

Stopped by here after our adventures looking at Starwars costumes on May the 4th be with you day. We ended up getting a couple of drinks and splitting a wonder grill cheese sandwich. Super cheesey and the bartender was super nice.

We went in a little after the lunch rush and our order was placed quickly. After self-seating ourselves, there was a slight wait for our food. When the food came out it was warm and delicious! I, myself, highly recommend the Queen Anne sandwich. My daughter quickly devoured their special of the day, and was ready for more. It was a relaxing lunch before journeying into the adjacent museum.

We were spending the day at the EMP so decided to have lunch here first. While it is a bit pricey, it seems to me musem cafes usually are. And while I don't know if it was quite worth the price, the food was great! Both my husband (coffee-rub burger) and myself (butternut squash ravioli) rated Pop among our best meals during our trip to Seattle. The staff guys were friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the decor is cute. The items in bakery case also looked delicious, although we didn't have a chance to try them, but might be nice for an afternoon sightseeing break. If you're looking for a place to eat at Seattle Center or you're at the EMP, you can be assured that the food will be yummy.

Stopped in while visiting the EMP and other attractions in the area. I had a salad that was fresh and delicious and my son had PB&J. Great kids menu and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd go back for the salad. Prices were reasonable given the location too - not as overpriced as many tourist traps can be.

We were enjoying some time downtown and got hungry, so we decided to give Pop a go. We loved their grilled cheese, and would happily go back for more.

Visited the Pop Kitchen during our tour of the EMP Museum. We both ordered the Queen Anne Sandwich....absolutely delicious!! The house made chips that come on the side are also great. Our waitress was even kind enough to notice our water bottles were empty and she refilled them before sending us on our way.

We stopped in for a quick drink and snack. The bar selection was varied, not overly but not bad. The service was quick and with a smile. Our tender was friendly and we would definitely return. The food, we just ordered the fries, was hot and good. As far as fries go!

Food was above average and atmosphere was good. Located with EMP but not their cafeteria. Was deceptive because it feels like their food court but it was much better than usual tourist place food court.

Expensive and noisy - very relaxed atmosphere - which can be good and bad, depending upon which children sit next to yours...food was pretty good, but again pricey for a snack.

POP Kitchen was inside the EMP Museum was the usual quick eat place if one was hungry after touring the museum. We enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich with homemade potato chips for the least price of $10.00 a person. This was served on sourdough bread with 3 types of cheese and very tasty. The chips were quite different from normal standard chips. Worth a quick, easy snack.

We took a break from our tour of the EMP and grabbed lunch here. It was good but expensive for lunch. However, if you're hungry and haven't finished your time at the EMP then it's a nice place for a break before resuming your tour.

must try the parmesan garlic fries only $4 on happy hours. try the beer samplers from around the world. pizza & burgers are not bad either

Good food, well located, interesting menu and good service,

We went to the Pop Kitchen restaurant for lunch while we were visiting the EMP museum. I had a Roasted Chicken 3 cheese pizza which was tasty. My kids had the chicken tenders and my wife had the Chipotle Black Bean Burger which was very tasty. Kind of spendy but food tasted good. Would recommend.

We did not try many things on the menu, mostly just soup and coffee, but the staff was great! I would probably try it again.

Had lunch for 3 - soup and grilled sandwich. Soup wasn't exciting and sandwich too greasy. Would probably not eat here again.

I ordered the black bean burger. It comes with "ranch chips" which are house made potato chips with a mild flavor to them. The burger has mashed avocado on it. I'm not a generally a fan of avocado, but this was a very good burger and the avocado didn't take over the flavor. My wife ordered the chicken gyro. It had a very tiny bit of sauce on it, so if you're expecting white sauce to ooze out on your fingers, this isn't it. She indicated that it wasn't what she expected when she ordered an gyro but it was a very good chicken wrap. This also came with ranch chips. This is counter service, then they bring the food to the table. No drink refills, but there's a water fountain that seems to be there for the purpose of refilling your glass. The restaurant is in the edge of the EMP Museum, but has an outside entrance. It has seating both inside and outside.
Great food for a museum based restaurant
We were visiting the EMP Museum, were hungry and pretty much were willing to eat anything. We weren't expecting much from a museum restaurant, but were pleasantly surprised. When we initially saw the prices, they seemed a bit high, but it turns out that's because the food is great quality instead of the usual museum junk food service. We had a BLT, a grilled cheese, and 2 of their other sandwiches. While this might sound like typical fare, the sandwiches were actually on higher than normal quality bread, the bacon was the thick sliced kind, the lettuce was actually arugula, not iceberg, the mayo was not plain old mayo, but garlic aioli, the tomatoes were roasted and it included avocado. One of the best BLT's I've ever had. It can be confusing when trying to order. They don't wait on the tables, you need to go up to a register toward the back to order, but they do bring the food out to the tables. All in all, a surprisingly artisan quality to the product recipes and quality. This is the first museum restaurant that I can actually say that I highly highly recommend.
