Really slow

By AVGTXN |

Saturday night @ 6 p.m. We often eat here for Sunday lunch and the food and service are flawless. Not so on this Saturday night. We waited probably 30 minutes before any food made it to the table. While we asked for all potsticker orders to be brought to us with the entrees, the server ended up bringing them early because the kitchen told him to. My shrimp potstickers came to the table as pork. We waited another 10-15 minutes for the entrees. When they came, my Waldorf salad was a joke--almost no walnuts or apples. I also ended up waiting another 10 minutes before someone brought me the dressing. All in all, not a good night for PF Chang.

Lunch at mall

By Sadie D |

I was at the mall and needed lunch. It was okay but my beef with broccoli had no juice at all and the broccoli was barely cooked. I could hardly cut it with my knife and the waitress said they didn't have a shaper knife to cut it. It was very hard to eat. Never been to chang's where the broccoli was like that. I tried the butternut squash dumplings and they were tasty. Even better with the jalapeños!

Not as good as other locations

By Travelqu |

I love PF Changs so when I find one where I am traveling I have to eat at it. This one was slightly disappointing. The food jsust didn't taste the same. Service was fine and everyone was friendly.

It was ok...

By julie_swain |

I have always heard people ooh and ahh over PF Changs, but I must say that it wasn't the spectacular food I was expecting. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Love the Chicken Salad

By Kristy M |

I had a great grilled chicken salad that had mangos in it. Phenomenal!! The service was great, and everyone in our group, 6 of us, was very impressed with their choices: Mongolian Beef, fried rice, etc.

A Quiet China Night Out

By getupradio |

Very good chinese and the sushi is fair. A great place for a date or nice family night. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well.

Mmmmmm!

By MarkK_SFO |

PF Chang's is a real treat Their food, although not traditional Chinese is very good for the American palette. The service at this restaurant is great and the food is both fresh and enjoyable.

Was expecting more

By shalvak |

Ordered the lettace wrap -was too salty and no other flavors . Ordered the side dish of cucumbers/ salty no special flavor at all. Nice dining place food very average.

Disappointing

By Tracy C |

This place used to be so yummy but after our visit yesterday, I'm afraid to say that it's officially gone down the drain. The servers are not well kept, the food was luke warm at best, and the portions for lunch were very tiny. Still hungry when we left. Very sad.

Great meals and great drinks!

By DallasRdWarrior |

We stopped here on our way to the Nickelback concert at Gexa Energy Pavilion and are so glad we did. It allowed us to get out of the traffic on Rte.75 for a little while and the food and drinks were fantastic. My wife said the Mojito was one of the best she has had in recent memory. And everything from the Mongolian Beef to the Sushi to the Chicken Satay was amazing. The service was fast and good as well.

Been to better locations - with better service

By Sam C |

Service was slow - Tuesday night - not busy or crowded but server was not attentive - spent time talking to other servers. Food was great, served hot and portion size was very good. Women's bathroom was a mess, and 2 of 3 toilets not working and needed cleaning up. Honey shrimp was delicious!

Great food and great service!

By ATXGirlie |

My family and I dined here while spending a few days in Dallas. This was our first time dining at this location and it was a great choice. The food was hot and delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and took great care of us. We were pleased to find that the menu and prices were the same as the location in our city with lunch menu items starting at $7.95. We had the chicken lettuce wraps, ginger chicken with broccoli, crispy honey chicken, and street noodles with shrimp and chicken. Everything was wonderful!

Good

By MichaelBanks |

Walked straight in and was seated. Staff friendly and both greeted coming in and exiting by a manager. Place clean and neat as always, quickly served but never did get a dinner plate when meal came out. Ordered the Pepper steak and the pork fried rice and delicious as always.

burned, scorched food served at Cahng

By dallasokzxtls3 |

They served kung pao shrimp-sauce and red peppers were burned black and scorched. They were served on dish with the less burned parts on top-the burned hidden undeerneath. Soon, the black burned peppers and scorched sauce with peanuts were uncovered. We took a bite of the sauce and peanuts before we knew it was horrible tasting burned mess. Restaurant is very dark, and color of food was hidden in darkness. We nibbled on the peas and rice-by then, our pleasure for a "good" restaurant and enjoyable meal was ruined. The whole time was unpleasant. Service was poor. Chang staff brought a properly cooked to-go replacement, in a container. by then, our "lunch" appetite was ruined. We enjoyed the free replacement meal later. Will not return there any time soon, if ever. Very disappointed in a very expensive place with a past reputation of Quality. Yuck! Also, low lighting, shiny cover on menu and very samll print make menu almost impossible for senior citizen to read. We have 20-20 with glasses, but menu readability is terrible. Even the supervisor in restaurant could not see how burned the serving was-until they took it to the kitchen, in the light. Also, a small fly was flying over the sauces, trying to get to the food at our table. This was LUNCH-not a dark bar or late night entertainment place. At Northpark Dallas!

the worst food and service of any p f changs in the chain

By TravelLikeaStar |

I eat at P F Changs all over the country and always enjoy the food and the service. This location is about a mile from my home and is consistently terrible in both food and service . I have complained to the manager and their corporate office many times over the years and it gets worse not better. Eat at P f Changs anywhere else ,but skip this one!

Good Lunch at the Mall

By JoInTexas |

Our three generation family arrived right after opening for lunch before walking and shopping the mall. Two of the three adults had the Orange Peel Chicken (a typical dish for my husband) and really liked it. Two of us had the Hot & Sour Soup (routinely ordered) and enjoyed it. I had the Tokyo Udon Noodle Bowl for the first time. It was spicy as described and I would order it again. The two toddlers had chicken from the kids menu and it was a hit with really fresh fruit cups. We will return.

Really nice

By rherb27 |

I hadnt been in a while so I tried it today. I had the happy hour sangria mmmmmm good. I had 2. Also had the epic lettuce wraps and firecracker shrimp. omg i love that shrimp.

New Happy Hour Menu was very exciting

By JJ_CSJ |

My wife and I finished our business in Dallas early one day this week. So we headed over to NorthPark Mall to browse before dinner. P.F. Chang's features a happy hour menu with drinks and excellent appetizers. The lettuce wraps, and the dumplings are part of the happy hour menu. It was just the right amount of food to compliment the drinks. The prices were extremely reasonable too. It actually made visiting the mall enjoyable since I am not much of a shopper.

The Waitress and the Food Gave Me Heartburn

By Beth D |

I knew I was in trouble when the waitress expressed disdain that I was only ordering a cup of egg drop soup and an order of egg rolls. She delivered the food fairly quick but didn’t check back. When I had pushed away the dishes as far as I could she checked in and I said I was finished eating. She removed the soup bowl and disappeared again. I flagged her down for the check which she brought about five minutes later. She picked it up and tossed a fortune cookie on the table. After I paid the check my dirty dishes were still on the table. I don’t understand this behavior. Either you serve or you don’t. Bottom line is the food wasn’t even that good. So an hour later I had heartburn - from the food and the waitress

Gluten free Chinese!

By Jemma P |

Stopped after shopping in the mall, staff were excellent. Knowledge of gluten free and the options available were great. Mongolian beef is lovely! Good cocktails and excellent atmosphere!

Sooooo Good!!!!

By Sarah G |

Delicious, delicious food. Service was good. They even brought my group of 3 a complimentary entree to share. Two of us ordered from the lower calorie portion of the menu and the portions were still large and the food didn't lack for flavor.

Excellent Chinese Food

By Dallastraveler49 |

My wife and I were joined for dinner here with a couple of friends just before Christmas. My wife had the Orange Chicken and I had the Mongolian beef. Both were excellent choices. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Personally I much prefer Chinese food in the US over meals I have had in China. The seasonings are so different.

Great Asian cusine

By luckytxn |

Very unique tasty dishes. Get the "warrior card" for discounts and offers. The lettuce wraps are always a great appetizer. Plan to share dishes because the servings are large.

Good food

By GreenLV |

We ordered some appetisers and they were enough for us. The chillie garlic green bean was really good.

Really good for apps but consistently disappointed with entrees

By fsanam |

I really want to like P.F. Changs but every time I've gone there for a meal I've been more satisfied by their appetizers (lettuce wraps, dumplings, seasonal heirloom tomato salad etc) than their entrees. Last week hubby and I went for dinner and were disappointed with their stir fried eggplant (too sweet and very little spice!) and their seasonal noodle dish (where the noodles seemed overcooked and reminiscent of ramen). Next time we go we will just stick to the appetizers.

Good Food

By John Miles |

Food was good service was also good, would recommend and go back in a heart beat. food came very quickly and tasty

Upscale Chinese

By Vik P |

I love the food & atmosphere of P.F. Chang's. Their lettuce wraps are the best I've ever had. I get them every time I go.

The Sea Bass is the best!

By Sea Ya' I |

We have had lunch at this restaurant before so we wanted to try the dinner experience. There are many PF Chang restaurants in the Dallas area and in other cities but this one was recommended to us for dinner by friends. We started with a sushi appetizer. Debra and I then split two entrees: the sea bass and lemon pepper shrimp. Both were very good. The sea bass is served on a bed of baby spinach and topped with a semi-sweet sauce. The portion was large. The shrimp were plentiful and deep fried just right. We enjoyed a bottle of La Crema chardonnay. Service was good, not extraordinary, but satisfactory. The restaurant is located in a very busy shopping center which can be both good and bad. Good, since it allows strolling and shopping before or after dinner. Bad, because parking is a real issue. Even valet parking fills up early. There is not much ambiance and this is certainly not a high-end restaurant. Again though, the food was good.

New Menu!

By winnie c |

They've changed the menu after 20 years! And they did a good job of it! I had the shrimp with carmelized nuts and honey dew melon and it's a WINNER! Great for summer dining with a cold glass of white wine. As much as I loved the lettuce wraps, I must admit to getting a little tired of them. There is also a pasta with cucumbers that is great. Service and atmosphere is good as always.

Standard chain quality at this location. Always fun with friends.

Lunch After Cancer Treatment

By KRippert |

Eat three in February, atmosphere is wonderful & food is EXCELLENT. Mongolian Beef & Combination Fried Rice is wonderful. Second time at this location & will continue to visiti on future trips to Dallas. Staff members are outstanding & are always on their toes in providing excellent service. My wife & I always fight over who gets enough of fried rice, tons of beef, chicken & shrimp, never any left!! Server George was wonderful.

Good Food and Reasonably Priced

By Outdoorguy33 |

Food is really good and price very reasonable. Nice dimly lit atmosphere but on Friday and Sat nites, you may have to wait awhile but there is the mall you can walk around to kill time.

Bettter than China's real chinese food.

By Bill & Mary Penn |

Our choice for Chinese food. Fresh ingredients, great sauces, a large variety of dishes and excellent fried rice. We recently returned from a trip to China. Their food was much blander than ours and used considerably less meat in their dishes. My choice, even after a trip to China, is still P F Changs.

BEST CHINESE FOOD AND SERVICE!

By BJ218 |

I have always wanted to try PF Changs and do not have one where we live. We went during the lunch hour on a Thursday and got seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and explained the menu to us since it was our first visit. You must try the lettuce wraps as an appetizer. It is a fairly good value, with the average price being around $10-$12 but you get a TON of food and for lunch could easily share a plate with a friend or your spouse. I had the sesame chicken and it was actually all white meat chicken not the "mystery meat" that you get at most other Chinese restaurants. The cheesecake is the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life and came with fresh blackberries and strawberries that were just as yummy as the cake itself. Never pass up a chance to eat here; great atmosphere, kid friendly, fresh food, and great service...you won't be disappointed!

Fabulous meal & manager Tina

By Winwithpurpose |

We were short on time because we were in Dallas for a conference and Tina looked after us from the moment we arrived, gave us great dish recommendations and even threw in a complimentary tasting of dumplings. We just finished the leftovers for lunch (the day after), didn't have a means to reheat it and still tasted wonderful. Will be back next time we come! Thanks Tina and staff!

Check The Silverware

By JoInTexas |

Yuck! That is all that I can say. My hubby and I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. No hostess was at the stand and two of the wait staff ignored us. Ok...no big deal. We eat here often and I just thought it was change of shift. When the hostess finally arrived, she tried at seat us at a table by the drink and server computer stand even though the place was 3/4 empty. We (after 2 more tries) got seated at the requested table by the window. The silverware at both of our places was visibly dirty! We waited and no server came so I went to another table and 1/2 of the silverware was disgusting (some of it was dirty and some was just terribly worn). At that point, we got up and left. I really hate to post this since I have been a regular customer in the past...

Great service

By BigSkyZenFlyer |

We went in with a large group of adults and kids. We each wanted separate checks, and the waitress said "No problem"! She was courteous, and helpful. Food was very fresh and tasty and served without a long wait.

Good gluten free menu, helpful service.

By Hugh S |

I took my wife, son and two of his friends. Very nice setting outside. Lettuce wraps were excellent. Good egg drop soup. I had gluten free qinuoa dish that was excellent. It kept well for left overs too. Service attentive but a tiny but slow - no slower than others though.

NEVER GO BACK

By TravelLikeaStar |

I eat at P F Changs all over the country and never have a problem except at this one!Every time I eat here I swear I will never go back and 6 months pass an I decide to give it another try. No More! The worst fried rice and beef with broccoli ever!

Great location and service is wonderful!

By tenntravelguy |

This location is inside the wonderful North Park Center Mall. Servers are awesome at this location and they are quick to make sure your family is taken care of from beginning to end of the meal. We started with Hot and Sour soup along with veggie spring rolls. We then ordered kung po chicken along with beef with broccoli. Brown rice was our starch. We ordered. Chicken fried rice for our child. All dishes were done very well and we were all satisfied. I asked for the hot mustard but forgot the hot mustard at PF Chang's is very intense so I did not have too much of it. Overall this is one of the better locations in the chain I have been to.

Noisy but decent food

By Linda62410 |

Like all the PF Changs, this restaurant was very bisy , food was good , service was great.

Good food, very good service

By Kaptx |

Across the board, a very pleasant experience We 4 sat outside and had excellent service. The food was very good, in particular the spicy chicken, the lettuce wraps and the sichuan seafood. Also, if desired, a good and complete gluten free menu.

Great service, fresh food but bland flavor

By margarethN4028MZ |

I've eaten here several times because it is a friend's favorite, the quality and freshness of the food is excellent, and it offers gluten-free options. But my friend's taste in food, in my opinion, runs toward the tasteless and bland, and this restaurant meets her needs well. Even though spicy is requested upon order or indicated on the menu, every meal my husband and I have had here was anything but. Not a place I would choose to eat.

Frequent issues at this location

By Lindsey S |

Untrained servers, food that comes out wrong and at the wrong time, dirty patio with lots of bugs and a rude manager. We normally love PF Changs but this location has issues time and time again.

SO Inconsistent!

By JoInTexas |

I have eaten here with family and friends for years and years and until 2-3 years ago, the restaurant was consistently excellent. Not any more. Today was an average day for food and service. My chicken was tough and my broccoli too al dente. It was not worth sending it back because the soup and egg rolls were pretty good and filled me up. Why do I return? When it is a good day at the restaurant, it is a very good day. And, it is so convenient.

Not up to PF Changs standards

By GerardoFoodie |

Visited this location and was looking forward to the usual 'great food' experience. This location does not have it. Dinner took almost 2 hours, and main entree was dry and way overcooked. The usual 'hank you' fortune cookie.....well, I am still waiting for it. Definitely not a good PF Changs.

hhmmm

By DT72 |

I have never been fond of foods like they serve here. This didn't disappoint much in that regard. The server was super about pointing out the least dangerous dishes for me and I appreciate that a lot!

Food Quality Continues to Go Down

By JoInTexas |

I have frequented this PF Chang's location for years and, until recently, considered the food and service a good representation of the chain. No longer. Service is fine, but food has gotten progressively less appealing. The orange chicken was not crispy. The beef in the beef & broccoli was tough. The quinoa was dry. You get the picture. I will think long and hard before I go back this location.

Fabulous Chinese Cuisine

By judydani |

The food was superbly cooked, seasoned, and presented. This is in spite of the fact that today is Sunday, and the restaurant was exceptionally busy. The manager visited with us and we remain incredibly impressed!!

Hard to beat the lettuce wraps

By Justin H |

I could go eat Chang's lettuce wraps any day of the week! The chicken is tasty, and sauce adds just the right amount of salt and spice. Very fresh and tasty. Love it!

Sorry, I'm not a fan

By Jane S |

This is one of those places that someone's always saying, let's meet there, but I've learned it's just not my cup of tea. The big thing is lettuce wraps and I really am not into them. In fact, I'm not a big fan of any of the Asian cuisines. Used to be, but somewhere along the way I lost my taste for it. My personal taste aside, this restaurant is always hopping, so I'm probably the only person in Dallas who doesn't like it. When I have been coerced in, the service has been good and the prices seemed reasonable.

Casual Dinner

By carlw611 |

It is always a must to include Chang's during each Dallas visit. Service is prompt, courteous, menu selection broad and always delicious. A dining treat.!

Rude hostess, horrible service

By Roxann G |

Took my family to P.F.Changs after shopping at the North Park Mall. The hostess was incredibly rude to me. The ultimate was her seating us at the door where the most foot traffic occurs and there were several open tables inside. My husband was so mad when he joined us so he called the manager over who relocated us but kept making excuses for her rudeness. Yep, I'm never eating at this location again. I suggest you don't either as beyond the service, the food was subpar at best.

Disappointed

By Gale L |

The quality of food has definitely slipped at this location. The traditional favorite appetizer, lettuce wraps, was flavorless and served with only two lettuce leaves. Calamari was good, although served with strands of green onion that were too stringy/chewey to enjoy. The double fried noodles with beef came on a large platter but had to be "broken" with a knife as it was one giant, crispy lump of noodles. There was a very small amount of beef, vegetables and sauce spooned over the top. The only reason I'm giving an overall rating of average is because our server was wonderful. Attentive, but not overly so, friendly and witty.

Horrible service, mediocre food

By russkwtx |

This review is for the P. F. Chang at NorthPark shopping center. n the 1980s I would go to Russia when it was still the Soviet Union. I would walk into a restaurant and ask for a table. Even though restaurants would be almost completely empty, they would say 'there are no tables available." I would ask why, and they would "those are reserved for important people." Basically, they were saying I was not important, which was the Soviet attitude toward the people. We walked around NorthPark mall and decided to have an early dinner at this restaurant. We arrived about 4:30 and asked for a table. The response was "there is a 30 minute wait." I asked how is it possible when the restaurant was more than half empty. They said "we have some reservations coming." In other words, important people. Interestingly, as we endured an incredibly long dinner experience, the restaurant became increasingly empty. We did not see an influx of reservations. So basically they lied to us. And not just us. The people who entered after us were also told of a long wait to be seated. Something is really wrong. We waited a bit, not 30 minutes, and were seated. And the ordeal began, or should I say continued. We tried to order a draft beer to start but were told everything was sold out except Bud Light which is not even beer. On a Saturday night at 4:30pm. Ok. We ordered the lettuce wraps to start and a cup of soup for the little one. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. After about 30 minutes I finally asked the waiter to please bring the soup for the little one who was quite hungry and impatient. The egg drop soup was pretty good. Eventually, the lettuce wraps came. They were good but not spectacular. I make equally good ones at home without the 45 minute wait. We wait longer for our entrees. I got the honey crispy chicken and the wife got the Thai Basil curry chicken. Her dish lacked salt and flavor in general. She added some soy sauce that was on the table and it was better. There are no salt shakers on the table. My "crispy" honey chicken was rather gross. Mushy, deep fried balls of chicken with no discernible flavor. The wife tried one and said "that is disgusting." I asked for one more beer before we left and was served a flat beer from the bottle. No bubbles, no flavor, no anything. Just flat. How does a restaurant serve flat beer from a bottle unless the bottle had been open for quite some time? Overall, it was not a good experience. Our dinner lasted more than 1.5 hours! Try doing that with a baby who wants to go see Santa and see how you feel by the end. I could easily go 1 star and not feel bad, but it's Christmas season so I will be generous. We will never return.

Best chinese food ever. after eating here you won't want to eat at fast food chinese again!!!

Love the lettuce wraps!

By lggg70 |

We always love PF Changs, and this was no exception. We happened to go there during happy hour, so we just chose 3 of the appetizers and that was our light meal. Good prices, great food! Service wonderful.

Fabulous food - just fabulous food!

By K2121WSlaurap |

My husband and I come here almost every week. The food is consistently amazing. You may be thinking - "oh a chain, so what?" We are very picky about eating out, because we do it so much. Additionally, I'm on the road every week (for 20+ years) and I eat at PF Chang's all over the country. The one in Dallas at North Park Center is absolutely the best - from the noodles, dim sum, chicken, shrimp and beef dishes - all are perfect. Tip - ask for the shrimp extra crisp. Always ask for the special chef's hot sauce. Made fresh daily and wonderful. It only takes a little bit, but it's great! Everything is great!

Great way to end our day.

By rcopeland111 |

After shopping most of the day, we wanted to have a good meal. Obviously, this location was perfect. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The specialty drinks were really, really good!

Always dependable !!

By FTichy |

Another PF Changs with the PF Changs trademark: friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices. The food came out quickly and it tasted good. It seems it is exactly the same at all of their restaurants. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, just good food.

Always amazing!

By texlawdog |

We love this place! Little wait the day after black Friday shopping! Lots of folks at the mall too! Food was amazing, like always!

Loved it

By Mr.Junior A |

Chinese is always good and when its P.F Chang--no doubt its gonna be AWESOME! Love the food, ambience is perfect, great service!

Ups and downs

By MichaelBanks |

This visit was about normal. Seating was available right away. No one helped me until manager showed up 10 minutes later. Food was delicious but had to wait a while for dessert and pay at the end. Every time I come solo I tend to get the same treatment.

YUMMY!!!

By Jan4Jan |

We went to the Northpark location on a Wednesday around 6:00 - still Happy Hour! Asian Pear Mojito, a good beer for my husband, lettuce wraps, ginger edemame, and savory chicken makes for a perfect meal! All of this for less than $40 and GREAT SERVICE. This is a perfect date night for sure!

Expectations Met!

By Ken B |

This was our first visit to a P.F. Chang's, and it was an enjoyable meal. The place had a nice ambiance and the food was quite good. It was rather busy while we were there, and the service was perhaps a bit harried. But all in all, we would recommend this place.

Lunch with mywife after my cancer treatment

By Richard Rippert |

We have eaten at this PF Chang's on at least four different occasions after my cancer treatment. The Combination Fried Rice (Beef, Chicken, Shrimp) is always EXCELLENT and the portions are WONDERFUL. Always very hot and tasty. The Monogolian beef with fresh steamed onion stalks is excellent. The peach tea is also very tasty. We always have enough leftover for another meal.

Date day!!!

Great place and awesome food!! Service is fantastic and the menu is huge!!! ................great food and great service!!

Pretty Good Chinese

By Briarpatcher |

We lived overseas for many years and know what good Chinese cooking tastes like. Since we are particular, we had not found a Chinese restaurant in Dallas to go to until recently. P F Changs actually has pretty good Chinese fare. Don't get me wrong, you're definitely in NorthPark not Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore or Penang. But, that being said, the overall presentation is more than just acceptable. Our party of 5 devoured the Street (Singapore) Noodles, Sea Bass, spinach, cauliflower and asparagus side dishes, Christy Honey Shrimp, etc. All were very good. The setting is attractive and the seating comfortable. Looks like we will be coming here in the future.

Excellent meal and service

By Kaptx |

The two of us had a late lunch. The lettuce wraps were excellent as an appetizer. As entrees, the chicken fried rice and the bass were equally as good. Both were sizable allowing for great take homes. Service was spot on and the outdoor seating very nice. Will return.

Dependable

By Lee F |

We eat here about every two to three months and the good news/bad news is that every time we go the menu content and format have been changed. It never has that "coming home" feeling, although they are to be commended on trying something new. My partner and I had two different shrimp dishes and they were pretty generic until we asked foe the "secret sauces" and flavored and spiced the dishes to our taste. I doubt that most people even know that this flavor option is available. Wine list is not large, but some bottles are very reasonably priced. It really irked me that they are using fortune cookies to advertise! What a sad demise for a wonderful tradition.

Solid meal and nice environment

By Frantic R |

We had a nice meal last night at the restaurant. Our meal (Chix fried rice, beef and broccoli, vegetable rolls) was good. Not extraordinary but solid. The dimly lit restaurant added to the ambiance.

Merry Christmas

By John F |

We don't get to Northpark often but whenever we do, it is imperative that we stop in P. F. Chang's. Today I had the lobster avocado roll and some wonton soup. My wife had the shrimp dumplings ands egg drop soup. Every thing was great. We also like their assortment of hot teas like peach ginger and my favorite Dragon eye oolong. Very good service an odd request or two.

Good, as always

By virginiagamer |

I stopped here while on business travel because I always enjoy PF Changs. The food and drinks did not dissapoint. I was happy to find a place that I knew that I would love the food at.

A Tradition and Traditionally Good

By Jim D |

We visit here every Christmas (and every other chance we get) with the entire family. Children and grandchildren look forward to our annual Christmas visit to Northpark and P.F.Changs. Good food, good price, excellent service, can't be beat.

Chinese ambience at its best

By Nav30 |

Looking for Chinese food with a American twist , this is the place . Also the restaurant at north point mall is one of the best in terms of ambience , so enjoy high end Chinese food at a good price .

"What Happened?"...

By Summit Seeker |

This PF location is another that has fell off the cliff. I can remember when PF Changs had some of the best wok flavored dishes around. Sadly as of late, the menus have changed a million times, and so has the quality. Now to add to that, I ordered the Kung Pao shrimp, just like I have for 15 yrs, and the server at the bar, who was non existent, brought out a tiny bowl of kung pow. And I'm talking 6 shrimp tiny. It looked like a half order, or not even launch portion. I complained, but the manager told the server to tell me "thats all you get".. seriously? Talk about rude.. Never again for me. Fortunately there are better asian eateries available these days. PF is a thing of the past now. Too expensive for the portions too.. I believe their arrogance is catching up with them

This is how all PF Chang's should look, feel and be emulated.

By Raymond J |

This franchise is one of my favorites to eat and see how each differs. This location is one of the better in the franchise and I found it to be what the original idea should be like. It had all the points of ambiance, with a seductive atmosphere for couples. The wait staff was always on cue with attention, selection choices and a good grasp of the menu. Would like to state a downside of the establishment but can't think of one, except that it is across from Pappadeaux's Cajun Restaurant (which are owned by the same chain).

Always good, love sitting at the bar

By Nikki M |

When the two of us go to PF Chang's, we usually try to sit and eat our dinner at the bar. Most know the etiquette, people waiting before you get to sit first, and don't take up a chair with your bags if you aren't saving the seat for someone, and are friendly. There are hooks about every other seat under the bar ledge to hang your handbag and other bags. The bar staff is always nice and mostly attentive. I really like the food and they've added some new menu items, although that did mean saying good bye to a couple of items I liked. The bar can get really busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but you can always kindly get someone's attention if you need anything.

Very good food, good service

Three of us had dinner at Changs. Easy parking and valet offered. For entrees, had the orange chicken and the lettuce wraps. All were very good. Overall, with the great service, a very good meal and evening.

A Christmas Tradition-Northpark Santa and P.F.Chang's

By Jim D |

Every Christmas we visit Northpark for Santa and lunch at P.F.Chang's. Spend most of the day waiting for kids to see Santa but then we get a treat...a great meal at P.F.Chang's. Of course, we frequent some of their other locations but this is the only time we go to the Northpark restaurant so it is special.

Good food, excellent service

By Kaptx |

A good patio. Excellent service and good food. Potions are sizable. The combo fried rice is very good and big enough for two, as are the lettuce wraps. Very good salad with the grilled chicken.

Great Service-Great Food

By Marci B |

Our server was great and as is usually the case, the food was amazing. I really love the salt and pepper calamari.

Consistently Great Food!

By Larry B |

I have a affinity for Beef and Broccoli (Crispy), Lettuce Wraps, and Sweet and Sour Soup with a huge bowl of white rice. Yummy!

Good food and service

By cmkrazo |

Food was great and service was good as well. We shared the meal for 2 with my wife and son. The meal was great and just the right portion for 3. Only disappointment was they were out of Budlight and colors light so I had to settle for a mixed cocktail.

North park visit - good food

By TX0810 |

Ate here while at north park. Although there was about a 45 minute wait but this was on the 23rd of Dec. There was about 10 if us and we all enjoyed our food. Wife got the salmon, it was good. I got the lobster fried rice it was good as well. Service was good no complaints.

Delicious Meal

By 860SusanB860 |

My husband and I stopped in early before a movie and had a wonderful meal. We had a delicious quinoa and kale dip appetizer that was complimentary. The asian pear mojitos are superb. We shared steamed pork dumpling and the crispy green beans (which are my favorite!). By the time the sesame chicken arrived - we were almost full!! Dishes were served hot, flavorful and in a very timely manner. The Great Wall of Chocolate Cake (with raspberry sauce and fresh berries) was a wonderful end to a delicious dinner. This restaurant has consistently been clean, popular, and well-staffed. We enjoyed our meal very much.

Always Delicious

First time I visited this restaurant in Dallas. The one in Houston is the one I have most frequented. Food is always consistently good. I love the lettuce wraps!

Amazing server!!!

By Jessica H |

Maddison our server is very attentive and very quick! Having a great experience!!! It is a great way to start a birthday!!

tastes great but makes you sick

By Reneecook |

the food is very tasty ,but is filled with chemical taste enhancers (ie., MSG ). It makes you feel so lethargic and sleepy. I have eaten there several timeswith same results. too bad because I like their food.

Under staffed - 50 min. Wait at 4:40 pm on Sat.

By BILL R |

Less than 50% of tables in use due to horrible staffing levels. More people were refusing to wait 50 min. for a table and leaving - costing the company $$$$. They need to fire the manger and get someone who cares!

Good Time!

By mamasculley |

Booked a reservation for 7:00pm on a Saturday. The restaurant in inside of a mall, so we were expecting a large crowd and long wait. However, everything went smoothly. Seated right as we arrived, service was excellent. Good food and atmosphere.

OK, had better.

By Noel S |

I visit this chain fairly regularly, and quite enjoy a number if their dishes. This time I had Sweet and Sour Chicken and found it dry. Somehow lacking. Their summer menu did not inspire me at all.

getting worse not better

By twodogscritic |

Ordered on line and picked up after doing some shopping at Northpark. This was second time in the restaurant in the last 60 days and what we thought was a one off not so great experience last visit seems to be a trend. I walked up to the bar to pick up our order and was completely ignored by both bartenders and the manager. The bartenders seemed more interested in looking at their iphone & apple watch than interacting with the customers. After five minutes I went looking for the manger who had also ignored me. He apologized that no one approached me and came back with our order pretty fast. As I was signing out he asked if he could comp a drink to go. I don't want a free coke to go I just want to be treated with some respect. We have always loved the food at Chang's and this time was no different. Great eats / good price value proposition. Staff doesn't seem motivated, engaged or focused on the customer.

Excellent!!!!

By Laportia E |

Excellent food with really fresh ingredients.Waiters are very attentive. Good service. This was a great Birthday Dinner choice. Can't wait to go back. Great

Really really good Chinese Food

By HappyGram5310 |

Enjoyable experience. Not only the food was delicious but this restaurant provides valet parking at no charge. A very important distinction in such a heavily trafficked mall. We had a lovely time.

Great service on a busy night

By Traveler8899 |

We went out for dinner on a busy Friday night. I was a little concerned about the time involved, because we had to be on our way at a certain time. We had made an online reservation for 8 p.m., and only waited about 5 minutes for our table. We ordered from the "PF Changs for Two" menu, and were completely happy with the food choices and the quality of food. The timing of each plate was spot on (soup, appetizer, main dish, dessert) so that as we finished one dish the next arrived within a few minutes. The servers were great with the way that everything moved along, and the only slight bit of slowdown was when we were ready to pay. I thought that the hot and sour soup was maybe a little greasy, but we enjoyed the spring rolls, kung pao shrimp, and cashew almond chicken. The two mini desserts were a nice finish. Everyone was pleasant and efficient, and the food was very enjoyable. Overall, a very good meal on a busy Friday night in the middle of Dallas.

Boring food and service

By earthtravelers |

Lunch at PF's is a known quantity but this was utterly boring as we stopped for a quick bite on our way out from the mall. The lettuce cups which used to be my favorite simple dish were brought to the table with the silverware floating in the chicken mixture and a mound of leaves on top of it all, totally unappetizing. My husband chose the lunch version of the sweet and sour pork which was dished up canteen style. The staff spent more time chatting away than looking out for us and the only redeeming grace was a delicious glass of homemade ginger beer which was spicy and interesting. We will no longer eat at PF's, there are too many fun places to visit.

Catered Lunch

By The Five Road Trippers 🚙🎡🎢🧳 |

We had a nice catered lunch for dinner. Great assortment of menu items. Food was fresh and delicious. The street noodles had an awesome curry flavor.

Good food but definitely not the best

By She M |

We had a good meal at p f changs, but honestly nothing memorable. My husband had their lemon chicken and I had the sea bass. Both were good but I'm sure I have tasted amazingchinese dishes that were better. Would I go back? hmmm.. maybe, if anyone persists!

This place continues to go down

By BILL R |

Horrible customer service, unreasonable wait times, understaffed. Management does not care about customer satisfaction.

Great food and great service

By b l |

We ordered sesame chicken which came with rice and also the California rolls. Both were wonderful as always. We have tried many dishes here and the food is always great. We had great service too! Look forward to returning again!!

Asian-themed, fast casual dinning.

By Larry B |

As part of the North Park Center Mall I stopped in to dine while waiting for the mall to open. Great parking right in front, valet parking available as well. Founded in 1993 by Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang. It was acquired by TriArtisan Capital Advisors March 2, 2019. Philip is the son of Cecilia Sun Yun Chiang, who was a Chinese-American restaurateur and chef. PF Chang’s food is consistently good and what you would expect from a box chain restaurant. This in my favorite location when I am in Dallas on business. Today I had the Mongolian Beef they describe as “Sweet soy glaze, flank steak, with garlic, and green onion.” Served with white rice. It was prepared perfectly. Great, fast service. Mongolian beef is among the meat dishes developed in Taiwan where Chinese barbecue restaurants first appeared. Enjoy!

This restaraunt should be avoided by those who are disabled or who have respect for the rights of the disabled.

By NorrisStough |

The food was about what you would expect from the average, down-on-its-luck Chinese place. However, access is unaccommodating and unfriendly to the disabled. Full story at: http://randomobservationsfromdallas.blogspot.cm

Stop here while shopping at Northpark and this place has great service and food. Yummy! Yummy? Yummy?

Excellent Excellent Excellent

By SirishTA |

No words to describe the great food. It was excellent right from the beginning to the end. The lettuce wraps melt inside your mouth within a fraction of second. The sesame chicken was delicious and not to forget the mouth watering banana fry dessert. No problems with the service and food never arrived late.

Not the best P F Chang for clean floors

By H L |

We were visiting North Park Centre this Sunday and had earlier decided to go to PF Chang for lunch after shopping. We did not book ahead and was offered a table after with a 20 minutes wait, as it was around 2pm. We ordered the Lettuce Wrap for starter and the Mongolian Beef and a bowl of rice to share. We did not have a long wait for food and as always, the lettuce wrap was very good. The Beef dish arrived before we finished our starter. We know the menu did describe the Beef being cooked with green onions, but found the taste and smell of the green stuff was quite overbearing, perhaps some of it was barely cooked. There were also several pieces of beef which were quite chewy and tough. There was a child on a high chair just across the passage way from our booth who was throwing morsels of food from her parents all over the passageway. They soon left. Also as we were finishing our entrees, a guest in the booth next to ours accidentally split a lot of noodle into the same area. We were totally surprised that for the next twenty minutes, all the wait staff just walked through or skip past the mess on the floor. Anyway, we left our booth and took another passage to exit the restaurant.

Great First Visit!

By MicheleT3065 |

I have wanted to eat at a PF Chang's for years and was NOT disappointed. My husband and I ordered from the "Menu for Two" and were overwhelmed (in a good way) by the amount of food. We started with the lettuce wraps which were every bit as good as I have heard they were. The hot and spicy soup was more filling that most soups by the same name at other Chinese restaurants. We also had the orange peel chicken and the mongolian beef. The downside was we were full three bites into the entree! The mini dessert was just the right touch to end the meal. I have to add how much we liked our server Jacob. There was a slight mix up when we were seated and he didn't realize we were his table but he MORE than made up for it by his friendly disposition and help with ordering. He was quite humorous and made it a great dining experience. I am kicking myself for not trying this restaurant sooner and can't wait to go back!

Always good!

By Gasman33 |

Chicken lettuce wraps, spring rolls, cheese wontons, Kung pow shrimp with fried rice.... That is a perfect lunch for sharing ... Great service.

If you come to Big D, Shop at Northpark & Eat at PF Chang's!

By JoInTexas |

Yum! Yum! Always extremely good and consistent. We love the soups (egg drop and hot & sour) and the Shaghai cucumbers with sesame seeds and soy sauce. We had an awesome server tonight, Kris Kringle. She made sure that we made the most of happy hour! The $39.95 full course special is a great value with the appetizer, soup, entree and dessert. The Salt & Pepper Prawns are a wonderful, unique dish. However, just pick your passion of beef, pork. chicken or seafood. Us, a fun Dallas people watching spot!

LOVE THIS PLACE!

By TLC0201 |

Amazing food and amazing service! Our go to place for a wonderful meal on our special occassions and just when we want a great meal.

Very Good

By SRA4 |

We were a party of 7 for a birthday party, all the food was very good except the Salmon was a little dry. The service was good, price was average for what we had and will return.

Great experience

By Vince C |

The best ,Everything was fantastic hats off to the the staff and Mgn food and drinks were on point will be back soon hopefully real soon !!

Bad food and server didn't care

By ICTS1 |

Appetizer was okay, entree was dismal-- and this is from someone who isn't particularly picky-- I only took a few bites and left the rest. When the server came back to the table, the one time he did, he didn't ask how our meal was. I think he must have known their food was bad. He only asked if I wanted a box to take my food. When I replied, "It really wasn't very good, that's why there's so much left. Definitely not worth taking with me." He just cleared the plate and left, never asking why or doing anything else to find out more about my dissatisfaction.

Needs serious employee training

By glb310 |

I wish the main office would direct more money towards educating their employees. I went for their "Share Mongolian Beef and your choice of any two craft beers for $22, all day on Mondays" special and the waiter was not aware of this well-advertised special. I got a blank stare, two margaritas, and one big fat check for $55.00. I finally got the bill down to $44.00 and left it at that. I love P.F. Changs but will bail when the competition takes over.

Very good food, excellent service.

By Kaptx |

Two of us went to Changs. Parking is easy and there is valet parking. Sat outside and Moriah waited on us. Outstanding service. Had a variety of starters, including chicken fried rice, crispy green beans, egg rolls, and lettuce wraps. All were very good and plentiful Will go again soon

Predictably Good Food

By wwfrench |

We’ve loved PF CHANGS for years! It’s always delicious and everyone can find something on the menu they love! My favorite is the Chang’s Spicy Chicken with brown rice my husband loves the Beef and Broccoli ! I love their spring rolls too❤️

great food/great value

By pinkiestrom |

My husband had never eaten at a PF Chang's and to celebrate a good post-op examination, we had lunch at the PF Chang's at NorthPark Shopping Center in Dallas. Our timing was perfect as we arrived before major lunch crowd although I did not see anyone having to wait for long. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Szechuan Scallops which were cooked to perfection... very light batter and just the right amount of crispness on the outside and tender inside. Everything we tried was delicious and we look forward to a return visit.

Half of a Bowl of Rice and Rude Servers

By renwithe |

Been eating at this restaurant for years, and sadly we will not return. First, after we had been seated and having our appetizer, they pick up the small dishes we were not using and stacked those in an area to be reused. They did not sanitize them between customers but placed them out on the other tables. Gross! Second, I always order the Mongolian Beef, but this time the dinner portion was the size of a lunch portion or less, and surprise they only gave us a half a bowl of rice, see photo. I was not about to pay $19 for a half-bowl of rice and lunch portion. So, when I asked to send it back, the server was rude. After asking for the check, he got it, but slammed it on our table and walking off. Didn’t even provide a pen, so we had to fed for ourselves.

Always consistent and good.

By Kaptx |

Changs is always very good. Good variety of menu items. A good gluten free menu with many items. Excellent service. Good outdoor seating.

No thanks

By Divebabydive |

My wife loves this place. I would rather have Thai...but more importantly this company took money from government from COVID situation. This is not a small company. This is huge company that does not need government assistance.

Slow service

By 860SusanB860 |

I stopped in by myself for an early lunch and the restaurant was not yet crowded. Service was very slow and not very impressive. I sat for 10 minutes before being approached and asked for my drink order. It was just as trying when wanting to place my lunch order. Food came out in a somewhat timely manner and was very good. The tempura green beans and chicken lettuce wraps are the items that keep me returning. I sat for several minutes after finishing my meal and it took forever again to get my check, get my change and to get the leftovers boxed up (of which they left out the sauces). Overall, my lunch took twice as long as it should have from start to finish. I never got a friendly smile, welcome, or thank-you from my server. She never really even made eye contact with me. On my way out of the restaurant, I stepped around two large water spills on the floor that could have spelled trouble for someone. Management needs to step it up at this location!

No risk lunch

By Hostess with the mostest |

Always great servers. Never a problem with the food. Saigon summer rolls and ginger chicken are my favorite. They have some "off menu" items you can ask about. Dan Dan noodles are a staple at the table.

Great Lunch, Great Service!

By AllOver1 |

We went here for lunch. My wife has a shellfish allergy and she was provided with an allergy menu which was greatly appreciated. My wife had Szechuan asparagus & crispy honey chicken. I had wonton soup and Szechuan beef. We also had brown rice. Everything was excellent. Our waiter was George who did a great job. He was polite, informative and attentive. Great visit.

Chang's

By pnkgirl27 |

We requested a table in a quieter area of the restaurant due to having a headache and the hostess sat us right next to the kitchen with the wait staff constantly zooming by. Next, she sat a group of high school girls celebrating a birthday in the booth right next to us. Okay, I understand that there is probably no true quiet place to sit but I feel that this was purposely done because the rest of the restaurant was pretty much empty. After having burnt crispy green beans served to us and a million OMGs, clapping, young girl drama and screaming with excitement, I had enough. I got the rest of my food to go and thanked the hostess for her vindictive attitude. On the positive side, our waiter was excellent. He was very professional and we tipped him well

Dinner

Really nice food. Our server was really nice. The miso salmon and the Calamari appetizer were really nice.

Dinner with friends

By Tom W. |

My wife and I met three friends, one of whom was celebrating his birthday, at PF Chang's for dinner recently. We shared three apps - Edamame, Crispy green beans and chicken wraps, all of which were tasty! Our entrees were also good and the service was excellent. Another plus - validated valet parking.

Great Service from Marco

By Theresa S. |

The receptionist was just average. No smile, no warm welcome. We had to wait for a table and sat at the bar to order appetizer. Service was friendly and prompt. Marco was our service at the table. He was personal, friendly and had fun with us throughout the evening. He made suggestions on menu choices and guided us through with the amount we needed. Food was very good, large portions and left overs were wrapped nicely with all the condiments.

Yum! Street Tacos on the Menu!

By JoInTexas |

Go and check out the new menu with a wide choice of street tacos. The trio of Lobster Tacos were fresh and well seasoned. Service was good today. And, it is time for al fresco dining!

Disinterested Staff

By Pam L |

We love the food here, but the service is always lacking and yesterday was the worst! Sat at bar for a take-out as instructed by the bartender, who was very busy with the TV and getting his own drink. Waitress ignored us and finally came over when reminded again. Said we'd like to place a to-go order and she said, "what do you want?" I said, "I'd like to see a menu." She sighed, walked over a brought back one menu for two people, which she did not hand to either of us, but threw on the bar. Was very short with us when she took the order and it never improved, even after I pointed out her bad attitude. We were not asked if we would like anything to drink while we waited by her or the bartender. There were 3 staff members at the reception area talking and laughing. I assume one was a manager. Maybe they should all pay attention to guests instead of talking with one another, watching TV, fixing a drink for oneself and standing right inside the kitchen door on cell phone,

Take out

By MoWBe |

I ordered the Moo Goo Gai pan with broccoli instead of bok choy and extra sauce! This was very tasty! I may get that dish again!

Great lunch!

By Jack A |

Joined my son and daughter-in-law for a delicious lunch at PF Chang's at NorthPark, and LOVED the Udon Noodle Bowl - a fresh, delicious take on something new. I can also recommend the Mongolian Beef Bowl, which is one of my favorites, but this time I wanted to try something new, and the Udon Noodle Bowl was perfect. Service was excellent, and we were served quickly. Very pleasant atmosphere, and we were able to talk without struggling to hear each other, like happens in some restaurants.

Sub par

Been eating at this PF Changs for last few years. Food has gone down. Not very good as past days. Rather disappointing. SW

Great food, lovely waitress, wanna go back when in the States

By rach2010186402 |

We came here after a long day shopping and looking forward to the Madonna concert later that evening, so we decided to eat at PF Changs. When we walked in, it took a while for the greeter to come which was a bit off putting but once we were seated and greeted by our lovely waitress Lauren we were more than happy. She recommended what to have and we went with her choices. She was an excellent waitress and our food was lovely. Loved the ambience and the other staff members were lovely! next time we are in America we are going to defintely come back to a PF Changs again as we are aware that they are nationwide.

Great food!

By 0207traveler |

Love it! Consistent quality of food and always excellent. Tried a number of new dishes this time and loved them all. Will continue to go to PF Chang's when visiting the USA.

Consistent with prior visits

By Kaptx |

Four of us went to dinner and found the food to be consistent. Basically, good , not great. Had the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. A good start to the meal. For entrees, the hollken noodles (very good), spicy chicken and the pepper chicken. Shared the chocolate cake for dessert. A rather large slice and very good. Good gluten free menu and service. Will probably return.

Reserved for a celebration

By texaschic987 |

I made a reservation a week ahead of time for a small reunion/celebration; once there, the reception and service we received could not have been better. We were in a slightly separated area, which enhanced the occasion. Everyone enjoyed their food choices, and "a good time was had by all". Thank you Christian and PF Chang's!

So many choices, So little time!

By StickSister |

I enjoyed taking 2 friends who had never gone to PFC before and introducing them to the lettuce wraps. So good! The gluten free menu has many selections, but I always go with my favorite Spicy Chicken. It was not very spicy which was disappointing to me. My friend's regular order of the same was spicy. Great for her. Gluten free doesn't mean flavor free! Our server was very sweet and friendly plus competent. The restaurant is crowded with tables close together which makes conversation difficult, but this is the case at most of the chain's locations. I'm glad I read a review saying it was located in a shopping center or we would have never found it. It was hard for my friends to choose from the many wonderful dishes offered. They were very happy with the Spicy chicken and Pepper Steak. Wish we had had room for the chocolate dome cake!

Nice food stop at Northpark Mall

By Avery397 |

Great food and service. Had dinner with a friend. Food selections were nice and varied. Lots of windows for natural light. Exterior entrance so you don't have to walk thru Northpark Mall. Highly recommend.
