Really??

By Realtru |

Don't ever order online from here, 2x now I get there to pic up my order at the promise time, it isn't ready and they have made mistake and have to remake one if dishes, therefore my other dishes become ice cold as it takes 20-30 mins to remake the dish, first time I gave them the benefit if the doubt, second I spoke to the assistant manager who said maybe I just have bad luck, no maybe you guys just can't fulfill a order, the food tasted do bad last night we could barely eat it, they burnt our shrimp and our shrimp fried rice was so dry we couldn't eat it... So unless u plan on dining in at this location do not order to go, I plan on contacting the manager this week as I feel totally cheated out of my money and time... Meal promised at 8:40 should be ready at 8:40, not 8:59

Overall a good experience

By DR_DAN2010 |

The food was good and the service was adequate. At the time that the food was brought out, I was disappointed that upon politely requesting fried rice instead of steamed rice, that I would have to order a large plate of fried rice. He probably realized that I wasn't pleased - because I just said that I would eat the steamed rice. Then the waiter returned to tell me that I could order a kid's menu item of fried rice, less expensive I presume. Again, I said I would eat the steamed rice. Now this seems sort of picky, but I spent $140 dollars for the meal (6 people) and if I prefer fried rice - hey get me a little bowl of fried rice. The guy's tip went from 20% to 10%. The food was good and I probably would go back, but it just was irritating- I could have , but was not willing to dress the waiter down or call for a manager - it should not have been that big of deal.

Food was Yummy!!

By Bertha J |

We went for lunch on a Saturday, service was quick and attentive. The food was great and came out at a reasonable time. We loved the atmosphere. Great place to stop for food and plenty of shopping places close by as well.

Busy place, good food

By Maccoylton |

Had to borrow a torch from the waiter to be able to read the menu, but the food we ordered was fine and the service was attentive

Excellent value and good portion size

By Mike C |

I am staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and there is a P.F. Chang's on the grounds. The best part was that I could order my meal online and then walk over and pick it up. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it was steamy hot and very tasty. Inside the restaurant there was a nice bar area and a nice environment for dining. Great experience, no doubt that you will enjoy.

Great Food

Horrible ... again

By pnkgirl27 |

I dined at this location three years ago and posted the horrible experience on Tripadvisor then. I decided to give the restaurant another chance given the time that has passed. Nope, still awful. It was my birthday and I chose to dine here for a nice meal with my companion. The horrible experience started with the waitress not being able to answer the simplest questions about the wine list. I am not a drinker but it was my birthday so I wanted to have a glass with my meal. All I was looking for was a sweet wine, any sweet wine. She couldn't suggest one off the menu nor did she want to make an attempt to find out. Next, I had a question about the noodles being vegan and once again she couldn't answer nor wanted to find out for me. I played it safe and got a vegetable meal with the sauce on the side. It was nasty! The stir fry sauce was a cold goopu mess instead of the normal texture of the sauce consistent with the other Chang locations I have visited. As for my companion's meal, the chicken was still raw in the middle! We tried to wave down our waitress but she was way too busy yapping on her cell phone on the empty patio. We waited and waited for over 15 minutes to "try" to get her attention. Finally a manager walked by and we showed him the raw pink chicken pieces. He promptly took it away but refused to do his job and return to our table with an apology or to rectify the situation. He simply sent the waitress over to tell us that the meal was free. Ummm okay, but it wasn't like we even got to eat it because she asked if I wanted a box for mine. I hadn't even really started to eat it due to dealing with the raw chicken situation. My meal was a full meal & I even had food on my fork when she asked! I pleasantly declined, yet she continued to just stand there at the end of our table for a bit making for an awkward situation. Then she asked if she could take the bowl away!?!? Really? She asked once again if I was done & could take the bowl away for a 2nd time. I finally got the hint that it was probably the manager that didn't want us there & to be out of the restaurant since it was being given to us free. I finally just gave her the food back! Honestly, I can't blame an untrained waitress for all the events that happened (and yes, I did give her a 75% tip on the meal), I blame the poor management running this location. As previously stated, I have dined here once before experiencing the horrible management so this will be the last time I ever dine here again.

Great Location for Dining with Family & Friends

Excellent variety of food offerings. Excellent value. Excellent food with large portions ample for sharing.

Impressive Service!

By Glenda F |

We came to P.F. Chang’s in the Willowbrook area for my husband’s birthday dinner. We love P.F. Chang’s, but we don’t frequent it that often, however, when we do, it has not failed us…they are always wonderful. The food is tasty, the service is amazing and the ambiance is pleasing, every time (so far). When we got there, the ambiance was as always, lovely; the hostess greeted us immediately. We were escorted to our table, and our waiter was with us in a matter of seconds. As we don’t go there much, we had trouble making a choice on a dish, because everything looks great! We asked our waiter, Damon, and he made suggestions. We went with his suggestions and ordered the Signature Lo Mein with Chicken and Chang’s Shrimp and Lobster Rice. Oh and we also got the Dynamite Shrimp as an appetizer…all delicious…so yummy! Although the food was excellent, I have to add that the service by Damon was superb! He was very attentive and made certain that we were taken care of when we were there. Our drinks were always fresh, and every once in a while he came by to see that everything was okay. You can tell that he is great with people; he had us laughing too. If you haven’t already tried P.F. Chang’s or at least this location, you should, and if you want outstanding service, as for Damon.

Excellent Food and Service

By TXVicky |

I brought a friend here for her birthday for lunch last week and was not disappointed. We shared the chicken lettuce wraps and the melon walnut shrimp. Both plates were a lot of food and both were very flavorful. The melon shrimp dish sounded interesting and it had a sweetness in the sauce but was delicious. It came with our choice of white or brown rice. The chicken lettuce wraps were excellent with lots of peanuts. Our waitress was very patient with us as we tended to talk rather than peruse the menu. We had food to go and she packaged it up for us at the table and gave us extra lettuce for our wraps. The place was packed on a week day lunch time but it didn't deter from the service.

PF Changs Consistency

By RickyH59 |

We enjoy PF Changs throughout the US. This particular location is really nice. It is in a highly populated and diverse area. The friendly staff is always welcoming and the reataurant and reatrooms are always clean. We had the dinner for two. Egg drop soup, pan seared pork dumplins, crispy honey shrimp, and mongolian beef with green beans. The included desert of banana wrapped wontons and that phenomenal coconut ice cream. An excellent meal, all made fresh to order with enough to bring some home. PF Changs is the only place we enjoy Chinese in Houston. We alway look forward to our next visit!

A big step above your typical Chinese restaurant

By Ken_Dwight |

Several recent visits to this location have been outstanding, always in the quality and quantity of the food and usually in the service. On my first visit I had the Miso Glazed Salmon, and that may be the best salmon I've had at any restaurant. The meat itself was large but tender, the sauce was delicious, and it was served over a wonderful bed of bok choy. I've ordered the same entree on two subsequent trips, and it hasn't lost its luster! On another visit I had the chicken lettuce wraps, which were also excellent. As an appetizer, that dish is easily large enough to be a main course -- or take half of it home for a later meal, as I did. The only disappointment has been the brown rice. Make no mistake, it's not fried rice; it's just rice that happens to be brown in color, with no particular flavor to it. Not bad, but not up to the quality of the other food items I've sampled here. On two occasions I've asked to speak with the manager, to let them know of my satisfaction with the experience. In both cases they have been very gracious and appreciative of the fact that I wasn't asking for them in order to file a complaint! I'll be back, on a regular basis...

Fall for a Strawberry Margarita

By irmac213 |

My hubby and I went Wednesday, 9/26/18. Fall has begun wanted dinner but nothing heavy. PF Chang was perfect. Began with a Strawberry Ginger Margarita what a way to end a long day from work. For Dinner I ordered Mild Chicken Noodle Soup it was perfect. Way to begin Fall with Margarita and Noodle Soup. Hubby ordered Crispy Honey Chicken. Hot and Cold like the weather. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to greet Fall Season and carry you over to the weekend.

Excellent food!

By Bobby D |

We called ahead, arrived on time, and we able to go right to our table. Everything was excellent: crab wontons, chicken lettuce wraps, egg drop soup, kung pao shrimp, mongolian beef, orange peel chicken, and vanilla cream wontons for dessert. Service was very good also. I gave it "average" on value because it's not cheap; you will probably spend $25/person.

Great experience

By Daniel U |

We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. The server was courteous and food was, as usual at P.F. Chang's very tasty. Towards the end of our meal we told our server that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, he very kindly offered dessert and even though my daughter was already full she was given a slice of (complimentary) chocolate cake to go. We have always liked this chain and we will continue to go!

Great Service For Being Restaurant Chain

By Teresa M |

Usually restaurant chains are not the best in customer service because they know people come in because they are just looking to eat what they already know and leave. Well this PF Chang's, in Northwest Houston off of 249, has this jewel of a manager named Bernie who makes it feel like you are being served in one of these pricey restaurants. My husband and I eat there often because of her. This Valentines Day we went there for dinner and as busy as it was Bernie was a busy bee making sure everyone was not having to wait longer than necessary. For us I asked her if there was any available seating outside, she asked us to give her a moment and she went out to look and within 3 minutes of walking in we were sitting and giving our beverage orders. Also if there is ever anything not right with your order the staff takes care of it with a very pleasant attitude. I have been to other PF Chang's but none of them have beat the service as well as this one. Thanks Bernie and staff.

Must be going to china for the Food

By First and last time diner |

We love the food at PF Chang's but this particular location has been having a huge turnover in their staff..........We never see the same servers like we used to and the service is very slow. I think they have cut their wait staff in half. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy but the wait for drinks and food was VERY LONG

Delicious

By CandiedRosePetals |

Service: Dined here several times as a hotel guest from Hilton Garden Inn. Excellent service from wait staff. Always seated quickly and orders taken promptly, with great recommendations. Bar service can be a little slow when the restaurant is busy, however, the wait is not more than 10 minutes for drinks. Food: The chicken lettuce wraps are a must-try. The minced mixture is a perfect balance of sweet, salty, spicy and sour along with the freshness and crunch of the lettuce is delicious! For appetisers, the wonton soup and fried crab wontons is just ok but the spare ribs are morish. Both the dry spice northern and saucy bbq styles are tasty. For mains, the wok-seared lamb, pad thai and kung pao chicken are pretty good too. For dessert, the Great Wall of Chocolate was amazing.

PF CHANG'S STANDARD

IF you been to PF Chang's then you know the food. This is there standard PF Chang's food. The have a great lettuce wrap. Takes a while to get a food to go order.

Loved It!!

By Richard E |

Our Kids Took Us Here Saying How Great It Is. Well, No Disappointment Here.We Loved It. Food, Atmosphere, Service, All TOP Notch! We Will Be Back For Certain!

Excellent service! Delicious menu!!

By Glenda F |

Wow! When it comes to Chinese cuisine, I am picky, but P.F. Chang's takes the cake! I had the combo lo mein dish, and my husband had the magnolian beef....both were EXCELLENT! For an appetizer, we had the dynamite shrimp, suggested by the waiter, actually, all of it was suggested by the waiter, as this was our first time at a P.F. Chang's. ALL of it was spectacular! !!!! We will DEFINITELY be returning, and if you're ever in the Willowbrook area and want excellent service and great cuisine, you must try P.F. Chang's --- and ask for Tye for top notch service!

Another Flavorful Meal

By Darrell W |

We had another good spicy meal at the bar while watching the Astros. Service was great and the food spicy beaf was prepared just right.

The service was incredible

By HulahoopHolly |

Everyone on the staff was friendly, polite and on top of everything. The food was good, the service was great. The vegetable lettuce wraps and the Brussels sprouts were fantastic.

nice circus and food

By Alain G |

The food was excellent, the waitress courteous, and the Banana Spring Roll desert "to die for!" The atmosphere is elegant and quiet enough so you can peak to persons at your table in a soft normal manner. The arrangement of the tables allows you not to feel a neighboring table encroaching on your privacy. If I get to Houston again I'll take my date or my business associate there.

Great as always

By bryanmantezoni |

We stopped here for lunch after shopping and we were very happy with the service food and prices all great and clean restrooms plenty of parking

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

By pnkgirl27 |

I walked in requesting a booth and was told that two of the customers had taken up booths for 1.5 hours but should leave soon (?). I waited for almost an hour for a booth before leaving. I called The manager, Bernie , to explain why I chose to leave and got NOTHING but a horrible attitude from her. I did dine at P.F. Chang's that night but at one that treats their customers better at the Westheimer location. Obviously the manager needs to be retrained and know better customer service if they allow people to lounge around during peak dinner time for upwards of almost 3 hours in multiple booths without eating or still ordering. It is a restaurant, not social hour(s)! What an embarrassment this place is for the name! After encountering Bernie's impolite unprofessional demeanor I have to say that I will NEVER EVER recommend this location to ANYONE!

Fantastic Cuisine Everytime!

By BeverlydAustinTexas |

My husband and I went to the new P.F. Chang's at Baybrook Mall on Memorial Day for lunch. We had the best Margarita in Houston! Made with fresh limes, agave syrup and sea salt rim. These were just the same taste as the authentic ones in Mexico. Our Kung Pau Shrimp and Shrimp with Candied walnuts was fabulously good! They also have Gluten Free Menus. Out wait person asked if we wanted Brown or White rice. Very nice atmosphere and good music. Great Experience overall.

DELIGHTFUL DINNER

By Judy W |

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food and service were exceptional. Server went out of her was to accommodate.

Great service, Excellent Food

By Cohibaba |

All PF's have the same great food. But this one has a great open-air setting, great service and friendly people. Bar is small but convenient and practical. I go here on each of my Houston visits. Would come back again.

Love it!

By Jasmine F |

It is almost guaranteed that you will be in line if you come after 5 or around lunch as it gets really crowded. The service is exceptional. My favorite is lettuce wrap ($8-9) and shrimp with candied walnuts, about $16. I can't get enough of it. The price is about $12-15. Worth it...

Lunch

By Haden L |

We went to P F Chang's for lunch and seated instantly. We ordered all kinds of appetizers! All were very good! The Pot Stickers and egg rolls were very good! Service was fast!

Great place for dinner

By Tina R |

We were there twice within a couple of weeks and enjoyed our experience both times. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Fantastic food and fantastic service

By B G |

First time visit as we were looking for a great place with this type of food. Well the food and selections were just what we had been searching .

Service Good. Food Terrible!

By Cinkin27 |

This is my first review. Honestly, I roll with the punches most of the time and take the bad with the good, but this is in my neighborhood. We let the dust settle with bad reviews before trying the place and honestly, the waitstaff was fine, decor was good, but the food was terrible. I've been to other PF Chang's where the food was good. This was either over-seasoned or not seasoned at all at this location. We tried the pepper steak and it was over seasoned with pepper. I had the Asian salmon with NO seasoning. We tried the calamari and it was awful! It seemed like it was just dusted in cornstarch. This was not worth the money. I haven't even mentioned dessert and cocktails... I am disappointed we spent so much money on a deserved 'night out' for what we got. I really don't recommend it to the locals or traveling guests.

Excellant Service from front desk and awesome spicy P F Changs chicken

By SlowPoke1960 |

My wife and I dropped in unplanned to eat lettuce wraps and PF Changs spicy chicken with Mango tea. The 50ish white customer service rep at the desk was just awesome, friendly and talked to us while we waited for a booth. She even brought us a tea. Extremely nice. The lettuce wraps with no rice sticks was perfect but the lettuce was white and we prefer "green" thin lettuce. The PF Changs chicken was awesome with extra sauce and the white rice was perfectly cooked. The waitress was training and we had a blast with her and trainer correcting her issues. The place was almost full for 8 PM but the food was awesome except for the "white" hard lettuce. The décor is very nice, the place is clean and the staff is friendly and take care of you.

Delicious Calamari

By Doug S |

My wife and I visited this location for Happy Hour on Friday, August 14, 2015. We did not want to sit in the main seating area of the restaurant, so we headed to the bar area. This bar area does not have a great deal of seating, so we stood for a little bit until another couple was leaving and took their seats. There are a little more than a handful of table tops for seating, perhaps a half a dozen or so seats at the bar, and approximately the same number of chains lined along the wall. Once seated, we ordered drinks (beer for me, a Mojito for her) and split an order of the Salt & Pepper Calamari. The calamari was delicious!!! It was cut into what look like fries and came with a side of what tasted like sea salt and a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The breading on the calamari was light and not overpowering, and was just the right amount to get the taste of the calamari. Other than the seating being a challenge, the food was fantastic!

Really Good

By Linda J |

Had a gift card from Christmas and had my son in tow taking him to the airport. This was his pre-birthday dinner. Lettuce Wraps had been highly recommended and they were delicious and plentiful! So much so we split the Korean BBQ entre which was also delicious! Service was great too. No complaints at all!

Another great meal and service at PF Changs!

By Brenda S |

Stopped by at 11am on Saturday for a quick lunch. Since we were early, there was plenty of seating. My husband and I split the Small Crispy Green Beans for $4.50 as our appetizer and OMG they are so good. We both love the beans as well as sauce that comes with it. For his lunch, my husband got the Crispy Honey Shrimp ($16.95). This is the first time he has gotten that and he said he would get it again. I got my standby of Chicken Lettuce Wraps -- which were great as usual. We ended up taking half of the shrimp and chicken home. One nice touch is that your server packages up your food. This is good and bad -- he said that he is required to get us fresh lettuce from the kitchen since they don't want customers to be given lettuce that the servers have touched as they pack up the items...but then he forgot to get us some...so I had to remind him. He also got us a new container of dipping sauce for the wraps (which he put on his tray as he package up the items)...but then he forgot to put it in the "to go" bag. This was no big deal though because I actually prefer my own peanut butter / hoisin sauce that I make at home. Plus I chop up cashews and sprinkle those on top at home as well. This takes the wraps from great to awesome! Sure wish PF Changs would serve their lettuce wraps with nuts as well. Overall -- another great meal at PF Changs. With 2 soft drinks, our total was $47 including tax and tip.

Great food high proces

By bryanmantezoni |

This is not cheap, but food is great, they have the $42.99 for two which includes lots of food and dessert but no drinks which are 3.99 so if two you might wanna picture you will spend at least 50.

Food is normally good, not tonight

By gwenbraum |

Got gluten free combination rice, it was sickening sweet. No amount of gluten free soy sauce made a difference. The rice was pure mush. We ordered a large GF soup and got a tiny container for one person. The rest of the food was equally gross. Don't know who the chef was tonight but he was off his game. We eat here regularly but tonight's take out was not good.

Not quite as good as before.

By TheSimpleLife3 |

It's been a while, but we were ready for some Chinese food here again. We usually go on a special occasion but this time we just went on a whim. It was a busy Sat night but I reserved online and were seated upon arrival...just love that they offer that. Ordered jasmine green tea but it was not brewed correctly and so was very bitter...every refill! But the service was excellent and I bet I was able to try five different glasses! The pot stickers were outstanding, black bean chicken was great, brown rice just right. Was disappointed with the broccoli ginger chicken. Taste was great but very little sauce. Broccoli was literally nearly raw, not much steamed or stir fried. It was all around the edge of the chicken, very pretty but no sauce on that and therefore almost no taste. I made do with the table sauces but I in no way enjoyed eating near raw broccoli when I was expecting very tasty ginger chicken sauce on it. My expectations may have been way off because of missing something about that on the menu....but this was the first time I've ever had a less than stellar meal here. Next time I will go back to my orange peel chicken! Only other comment is that we were seated in the middle of the restaurant on a table that has a bench all along where others are seated as well. It was so noisy and the table so wide that we could barely hear each other speak. No fun texting to talk to each other! If you'd like to hear each other, ask for a booth!

Great food

By BrussoDallas |

My husband & I hadn't been to a P.F. Chang's in close to a decade. I'm glad we decided to come back because the food was delicious! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the restaurant was absolutely freezing & the service wasn't very good. There were a lot of large tables for prom so maybe that had something to do with the service but it could have been a lot better.

The best chicken and noodle soup ever!

By fancygirlHouston |

Love love love PF changs. The good is outstanding, especially the special chicken and noodle soup. You can also adapt any of the entrees to your specifications

Yummy Food!

Just LOVE this food! I've been to several and they are all wonderful! Love the atmosphere! This one has a really nice bar and it's usually full!! haha - love their sauces and brown rice!!

Solid PF Chang's

By Tom D |

Enjoyed a light dinner - Chicken Lettuce Wraps & side of Green Beans. Food was served hot & tasty with good portions. Service was attentive and friendly. Convenient to Hilton Garden Inn across parking lot.

Great food

By lsutdw |

Server was wonderful and so was the food. I wish the hostess wouldn't put the menus on the plates. That is not sanitary.

Nice Asian style food and ambient

By Aga S |

I do enjoyed dinner at PF Changs, although it could have been so much better. First of all I missed choice of rice. They do offer brown and white but not rice type, like Jasmine, Basmati, etc. Jasmine would be perfect fit to Thai food, Spring rolls, well no comment. First of all, their size is xxl, and they kind of taste like frozen ones you can get in any supermarket. Prawns were ok, same as chicken and beef. Again portions too big as for Europeans. Huge plus point: service! Well done!

Very nice place for a birthday meal!!

By Debbie B |

My daughter and I celebrated our birthdays at PF Changs. We love the lettuce wraps as an appetizer!! My husband and I had the Ahi Tuna which was disappointing Because it didn't have much flavor.. Our son and daughter Enjoyed their meals and the desserts were really good!!

Great food as always

By Alastair M |

This Asian chain is consistently good. I had the lobster and shrimp tacos to start and Hong Kong Style Sea bass for entree. Both were excellent. The sea bass was exceptional.
