My wife and I tried the new ramen bowls and they are very good. And huge. Service, as always, was great.

The atmosphere and food was very nice. I wish they offered a larger glass for what they charged for a refreshing fruit drink :) Great place though.

These guys were great! We ordered carryout for 60 people, including 48 swimmers who eat like football players! The staff had it ready and even brought it to our car. And the food was delicious.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten at. Food was excellent and well presented. Shared 3 different items. Eggplant was absolutely fantastic.

Our waiter was very nice. He made eating there worth our while. The food was great and came in a timely manner.

Been awhile since last visit & have to say, was very disappointed. Had the 'salt/pepper prawns' that tasted like they were frozen from a bag--tasteless. Wife had Mongolian Beef that was OK & then there was the calamari for appetizer. That was some of the worst ever--tasteless & chewy w/assorted veges thrown in. Received restaurant request for review & said basically same as here. Contacted by mgr thru email & promised a gift certificate in mail to make up for mediocre meal & of course still waiting on it..... Won't be back for long time if ever!

I ordered take out from here. They told me to wait in my car, when I arrived. I waited and waited, and the delivery girl knew I was waiting. I arrived on time, and waited another 30 minutes in my car. It was very annoying. The food was as expected, and was fresh, but I had to drive to my hotel, and was running out of gas, and it was just an annoying experience.

I'd been craving PF Chang;s for a while, the kind of craving that Pei Wei won't satisfy. We started with the Crab Wontons (like we always do), then I splurged with the Beef a la Sichaun (I'm told this is the spiciest item on their menu, but my hubby - who doesn't like spicy food - didn't think it was too spicy). My hubby had the seasonal specialty Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-fry. Both were so good! On two occasions, two different food runners tried to serve us items we didn't order. One item was the Chicken Lettuce Wraps (which I love but my hubby has never tasted). We joked about it with our server then a bit later, he happened upon our table with an "extra" order of lettuce wraps that the kitchen accidentally prepared. Bonus! My hubby really liked it and I was in heaven ... and very stuffed! Our server was very good and very friendly. Service was a bit slow, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy, but the bonus lettuce wraps made everything better!

Everything about this location was fantastic, I have a gluten intolerance so finding food can sometimes be problematic. They had a specific section of their menu entirely dedicated to gluten free meals. The server was very attentive of my allergies and was very friendly. Had a wonderful lunch and went back several times on my vacation.

Not our first time. But not about to be our last time either! I’m impressed by this particular P F Chang’s location. The food’s quality is very high meaning hot food is hot and cold food is cold. Our soup wasn’t as hot as I like it and two people were all over it to make our experience perfect. That didn’t go unnoticed at our table! The new Calamari dish was very tasty indeed. And the Lettuce Wraps were constant with other visits. THANK YOU!

PFC's food is pretty consistent nationwide. The La Cantera location is no exception. Unfortunately the dining room is over crowded and noisy. You will feel,in a bad way, that you have unwanted guest at your table. The staff is courteous but over rushed. The dining room leaves you with a bad impression. If you want to eat there, eat at the bar where the service is good and the seating density is a "bit" more acceptable. The patio is fine depending on the weather. Not the upscale experience Chang's presents in other locations.

We ate here in the summer of 2011 and in January 2013. Both times we experienced the real PF Chang exceptional food quality and service.

Not for kids but we love their beef and chicken. Amazing statues. Great food. Great prices. Yummy sauces

This is a one year update. We have been here for dinner a number of times and always had a good time meal. Since I wrote last, I revisited the Mongolian Beef and it seems they have changed the cut of beef to flank steak or something similar. Still delicious. My wife had the Korean bar-b-que chicken which is a seasonal presentation. She liked it. Service was very good despite the crowd. Waits can be extremely long if you don't call ahead. So, be forewarned.

I went here on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend before he travelled back to his state the following day. Our server, Victor, what a chill fellow! He was of great service, often checking up on us if we needed anything. The food was awesome, and the area wasn't packed at all, which was a plus. I hope my boyfriend and I come here again someday, and see Victor. 😁

We love PF Chang's, but the one near our hometown closed earlier this year. So we were excited to visit PF Chang's while visiting San Antonio! The service was friendly and efficient. Seems like mostly college students working, but they were Covid safe and engaging. Steamed pork dumplings had great flavor and the sauce was delicious. The shrimp dumplings were less flavorful but still enjoyed. Vegetarian lettuce wraps were so-so; could have had more flavor. GFO Spicy Chicken was very flavorful (ordered mild). Thoroughly enjoyed it with brown rice. Mandarin Beef was very good with brown rice. The restaurant was fairly busy (it was early dinner around 5:30'ish), but seating was spaced apart and there are taller partitions between the booths. Very safe and following Covid rules. Highly recommend this PF Change location.

We just love PF Changs!!! This PF Changs is by far one of our favorites!!! The staff was amazing...We had reservations for 8pm...We arrived at 7:50 and were seated at 7:58...Our waitress was Karen...She was very professional, very helpful and always had a smile...This was our final evening of our vacation and after a very long day of fun activities throughout the day, we were able to just relax and enjoy a fabulous meal with great service...

We continue to return to this restaurant time after time and even though they occasionally make mistakes, they always fix their mistakes and issues are addressed by management quickly. Trust this place.

My friend and I have to head here every other month or so to get our fix! They are hard to get in, I recommend going early or late!!

Hadn't been there recently but rediscovered it last night! thanks. we were pleasantly surprised. The waiter attended to us very closely. The food was excellent.

The food is always good. The service is always spot on. The whole experience is enjoyable. But this time is was all just good. Not great. Had a problem and the manager handled it quickly and professionally. The wait staff was confused, we had two waiters and they almosted competed with each other. Which would seem good but it go annoying, being asked twice for the same things often. All in all a good experience, will go again, but they had an off night.

Always excellent! The food is consistently delicious! The Dinner for Two options are great. We make it a point to eat here whenever we are in town.

P.F. Chang's is always good food and service. Have tried a number of different locations of this chain including the Middle East and all have the same quality standards. Never a bad experience.

I have either eaten in the restaurant or ordered take out from this restaurant many times. It is usually good -- not great -- but good and what you would expect. Tonight I had numerous problems with ordering online, but held out for the food to make up for it. I ordered the Korean Bulgogi Steak and the Brussels Sprouts. The brussels sprouts -- which I have had in the past -- were good. The bulgogi steak was terrible. It was fatty, tough, and had very little flavor. My husband and I had the same thing and we agreed on how bad it was. It was such that we not only wouldn't order that dish again, I don't think we will return to the restaurant.

Daughter and I had a mid afternoon visit, not too crowded. Enjoyed our meal and waiter helped me make a decision about what to order. Yummy food and drinks had by all!

I was not impressed. It was normal but pricey and I still liked the atmosphere. Good service but not the best food. This could be because I was not able to eat meat dishes and usually that is what is good at this place. Will probably go again for a better opinion.

We had a party of 6 for a special birthday dinner and had reservations. We arrived and were seated timely. After appetizers, we ordered dinner. 4 guests ordered chicken dishes 2 ordered the Fire Braised Short Ribs. All orders were placed at the same time. The 4 chicken dishes came out timely. The 2 short rib meals came out 15 minutes later - and after asking to let the manager know we were not happy. The short rib meals were $30 each- among the most expensive items on the menu. We finally received our meals and there was less than 2 ounces of rib meat on each plate. My wife asked if they were appetizer portions. The meat was dry and fatty. If we had not waited such a long time for our meals,we would have sent them back. The manager delivered our meals but never came back to ask about us. We were highly disappointed in the management and food quality our server was very nice. We won’t consider returning!

We are fans of PF Chang, but this location was a disappointment. The food lacked flavor. Not up to the standards of other locations. Our server did her job well, we don't fault her for the food management let come out of the kitchen.

It has been a while since we had eaten at a PF Changs and I will make sure it is not so long again. This is really a great get away from the everyday restaurant. I ate the surf and turf and it was a fantastic dish. There was plenty of food on this plate.

Located at the luxury mall there, and difficult to get into some nights, but just wonderful service and great food. The appetizers were awesome, soup was the best, and entrees a 10. One of the best waiters ever.

Long wait, food portion in the Mongolian Beef was rather small. Have been to better P.F. Chang locations.

Wonton and lettuce wraps were quite nice. Had a terrific lunch and Kate was a great server. Always nice!

Seated almost immediately. I asked for my appetizer to come out when my husband's meal arrived, but it came out early. Also, it was the pork egg rolls and they were overdone, being very brown on the outside. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken and there was hardly any taste to it at all. Just the normal PF Chang's experience otherwise.

Great food, consistently reliable. Hot and tasty. Make reservations or be prepared to wait. Bar service is good...loud.

This restaurant located in La Cantera shopping area of north San Antonio offers a great place for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere, the food and the service is excellent.

Good choice is lettuce wraps, eggplant entree with brown rice. Second favorite is Fried Tofu with Broccoli. Good every time.

Totally enjoyed our Sunday lunch at PF Changs. The best part of it was an incredible waiter by the name of Henry. He was very knowledgeable and willing to make suggestions. We took his suggestions and were greatly rewarded. Thanks Henry and PF Changs for a great time.

I live in Spain and we don't have many Chinese places in the area so I wanted to eat here when I visited the USA. What a good choice, as it never fails me. Great service and great food. Plus a great break to Sunday mall shopping.

This location is the best P.F. Chang's in SA and the food and service have been terrific during our last few visits in 2015. The pepper steak, sesame chicken and spring rolls are always excellent. My only complaint would be that the sauces are no longer at the table.

We have eaten here many, many times and have always had good food and mostly service. As we have celiac family members, we greatly appreciate the separate GF kitchen and menu. Normally I come with family, but I was solo shopping in LaCantera and had lunch on the patio. In the past, I have had issues with service on the patio, so when I was seated I mentioned this, and the service was excellent. Appropriately attentive. I opted for a sampling of dishes including pot stickers, egg rolls, and jicama street tacos. Everything was delicious. The standout was the jicama tacos where thin slices of jicama serve as the “taco shell.” These are close to addictive. They are fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. They are quite light, which I like because it lets me sample other small plates. Their menu has been recently updated, so if you haven't been here in a while, it's worth a return trip!

I've always enjoyed the chicken lettuce wraps and won ton soup at this chain restaurant. They've added something new, however, which is tuna tataki and tacos with jicama shells. They probably should stick with their Chinese cuisine, though, as I would not recommend either of them. The tuna was nice but it wasn't served with wasabi or soy sauce, which is unheard of.

Our family recently visited P.F. Chang's China Bistro. The restaurant has a spacious feel to it. The server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of menu items but the lettuce wraps are always a favorite.

Love the upscale China Bistro feel & food! All dishes are excellent! Hard to go wromg here. Stop a real treat in a relaxed atmosphere!

Food was no different from any other P F Chang's but our waiter, John, was head and shoulders above expectation. Made a very average experience quite good.

We where at La Cantera taking advantage of the sales for back to school and we stopped in to PF Chang's for lunch. The service was very good and the place was very clean. The lettuce wraps where off the chain amazing. Lite and refreshing, perfect eats for a hot day. I totally recommend this restaurant !

Service was fast as always in a PF Chang’s. Vietnamie salad.....no good. Is asking for flavor. Shrimp dinamite great. Pat Thai excellent. What we did NOT like was that 3 times we returned our glass of prosseco because dirty glass. Lipstick was on the glass. We showed the waiter and he agreed. He changed the glass but next one we order was the same situation. I think this is very important in a restaurant because you don’t want to imagine that plates, forks, etc are not properly clean just because you continue seeing dirty glasses. Just watch this guys !!!!!

We visit this location once every couple of months and our last four or five visits have not been great. The dishes seem to always have a different sauce than they used to and are different every single time we eat here. We recently ordered sesame chicken and it had the same sauce as the orange chicken dishes! What??? This location has definitely fallen out of favor and I find that we are eating here far less than usual and will likely not return any time soon. On a positive note, the service is always great!

Everybody liked their food. Spicy dishes were not too spicy. Crispy honey was plentiful and nice sized, but not so crispy. We did not have to wait long for more rice, etc. Waiter was good at anticipating our needs and packing to-go containers. We were all satisfied and I look forward to returning.

Everything here is wonderful!! Great drinks, excellent service and the food is soooo perfect. I have to dine there every few weeks for dinner or lunch.

I always enjoy thiis restaurant. The service is great and the srevers are very knowledgable.?the lettuce wraps and wanton soup are some of my favorites. They keep the tea coming. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I will always be a regular.

Party of 15. Great service, everything perfect, highly recommended!!! Loved the new menu. Always great experience.

Love the food at PF Chang's. Their shaved brussel sprouts are the best I have ever had! We also had the nicest, most efficient, best waiter we have ever had at any restaurant. His name was John and he alone is enough to make you want to return. Wonderful lunch experience!

This upscale Chinese restaurant is far from your average Chinese food. Their menu items are unique, and have items for the very hungry to light appetites. A big crowd pleaser is their lettuce wraps and you can order different fillings. Their menu of food, appetizers and drinks is extensive.

We ate here Saturday July 23 and it was it's usual best. We love that place and the service was outstanding. It's comfortable, relaxed, cool, and the food outstanding.

We love going to PF Changs in La Cantera. The staff is always friendly. We always get free sides so there's always leftovers. I recommend this restaurant.

Simply the best Chinese I've had in the US with consistently good food and service. It is a must when we’re in San Antonio.

The Mgr/host could not plan ahead and was insulting. The wait was over 45 minutes and they weren't busy. They won't telephone you that your table is ready. No pagers. No waiting or standing nearby. Dont come here if you are hungry.

I'd remembered the PF Chang's of old (remember the melon balls and walnut shrimp) so after returning to S.A from 3 years in Europe, we were excited to eat here again. I'll jump right in. The pork egg rolls were tasteless ( how do you make a totally tasteless egg roll? ) The pork dumplings ,well, they simply were not delicious. The Singapore Street noodles ( which the young lady who took my phone order insisted DID NOT have meat, chicken or shrimp in it ( as it turned out-IT DID ) acted annoyed when I kindly informed her that she was misinformed (LEARN YOUR MENU ) the Singapore Street Noodles had some kind of hot pepper in it that BURNED MY MOUTH and made it inedible, and my Husband's Sesame Chicken was VERY sweet with NO SESAME TASTE whatsoever ( we love all things SESAME (sesame oil, sesame candy , Chinese sesame balls ) in short- it was not the P.F.Chang's that we remembered from Virginia Beach . Worth noteing : if you don't like chili paste or chili oil on almost everything, look elsewhere for Chinese food that actually has flavor instead of relying on CHILI-HOT to get them by ! The absolute truth is that my Husband and I had better Chinese food in IRELAND ( yes you're seeing this right LOL ) P.F.Chang's in San Antonio is resting on it's past reputation . A very elegantly decorated restaurant with mediocre food . Maybe we are spoiled by the "Chinatowns" of New York, Boston and San Francisco ?

I have never had a bad experience at PF Changs! The food is yummy and the restaurant is always clean when we go!

Service and food was excellent. We started off with the crispy green beans. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the Kung pow chicken. They were both perfect.

We used to love PF Chang's but it has definitely been on the decline the past few visits we have been there. This lunch was no different. Our food was ok but not great. My Mongolian beef had a lot of undissolved sugar in the bottom of the dish. Our server was pretty good but at one point our mouth was burning so much that we had to go over and pour our own water. This used to be one of our favorite places to San Antonio to eat but I can't say I am in a hurry to go back any time soon.

Shockingly disappointing. The orange chicken pieces were all breading. The chicken was almost impossible to taste or even see when cut in half. All breading. The quality of the beef was not good either. Very tough and chewy. The price per dish averaged close to $25 each and the portions were so small that 8 dishes barely fed 3 women and 3 men. I was expecting leftovers but we really only had lots of rice leftover. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because our order for pick up was quickly ready. We used to love PF Chang’s but sadly we will not be going back.

We love PF Chang's. Although it is always super busy at this location, we got seated within 10 minutes since it was just me and my husband. We got seated at a small table near the restroom. 🙈. Our waitress was very nice and accommodated us when we asked for another table. The service was good and the food was great. We love the calamari appetizer and the egg drop soup.

Franchises are franchises, not all are the same. P.F. Chang's is one of my favorite Chinese franchises. This particular one is not one of the best. The food was fair to average and the service was very disappointing. This is one P.F. Chang's I definitely will not be returning to.

We have been to this PF Changs a lot as a family but I had to write about our server Kelsey. I appreciate someone who pays attention to her guests. She was humorous and so sweet to my daughter and her friend. She made suggestions and just did an awesome job! I hope she is recognized as an outstanding team member!

Fun place to eat - PF Chang's, Hope you enjoy as much as we did. Also a great place to people watch.

Nice atmosphere! Our waiter paid good attention to us! I was really lookinG forward to the food and was not disappointed! I had the chicken lettuce wraps and shrimp with fried rice! Hope to return on my next visit to Texas

We have eaten here many times and it is usually top notch, but we were here last night with friends for a birthday dinner. I can't say anything good about our waiter. At first he got the drinks confused. He asked if we wanted an appetizer and we asked for menus and he said only one per table use your phone. One of our friends said we have problems reading the menu on our phone and his commit for that's not my fault. He left and was back 2 minutes later wanting to get the appetizers we wanted to order. Before he left he wanted us to order the main course and we told him we wanted to wait for our appetizers so we could enjoy them before our main course came out. He said well I guess that's OK since we don't close until 10. With his attitude we should have gotten up and left but we stayed. He came back two more times wanting our main course and we still had not gotten our appetizers. He was told again to we wanted to wait. We got our appetizers (several) and several minutes later he came back and we ordered. We finally had to stop another waiter and asked for refills of our drinks. As some of us were finishing he started picking up the dishes and filling our to go boxes. The worst thing was when he went over to a lady that had a fork in her hand and tried to take her plate. She told him she was still eating and his commit was "still" and walked away. I was so embarrassed for the lady we had brought to celebrate her birthday. He couldn't even do the bill correct. We gave him two credit cards (2 couples taking out the birthday couple) and he couldn't even divide the amount in half. His name is Joshua. I have done several other reviews with 5 stars and talked about great waiters, but not this time. Joshua was very rude and had a horrible attitude. One of the coupes said they would never come back. We were never offered a dessert or did we receive a fortune cookie.

Great menu options with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. Service was impeccable, atmosphere great, and food amazing -- regardless of what you order.

This place is exactly what you expect from a chain. Save your time and money and go to a mom and pop place in town and get much better food and more of it for your money!

P.F. Chang’s seldom disappoints and this was no exception for my first time to this location for lunch. Both the shrimp and pork dumplings were excellent. The bartender, Lacie Jade was great as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant, meals came out in a timely manner and the service was excellent. Friendly staff who accommodated our needs. A+

PF BS (bad service) What does it take to walk in a reputable restaurant and expect good service? The hostess did not greet us upon entering the restaurant. She walked away as we walked towards her she never made eye contact and after giving her our name and how many in our party, she sat two parties that came after us. I believe service should be right up there with how good the food is nothing personal folks we pay good money and tip well! It's time to be professional!

Go here if you want flavor from Chinese food. This company knows what they're doing. No matter what you order, expect quality food and professionalism from the staff.

My husband and I visited on my birthday on April 27. There was a new waiter who was just finishing training that was extra attentive and made a big deal about it being a day to celebrate. We had a free appetizer of the pork dumplings from a coupon we had from my birthday. We also had the Wonton Soup for two and the Honey Crisp chicken. It was all fresh and delicious. The new waiter (I wish I remembered his name!) offered me a free dessert because it was my birthday. I told him we were eating out for dinner, and I did not want to fill up. He came back and gave me a lava cake accompanied with ice cream that he had put in a pint container and sealed in a bag of ice to stay cold. He told me to enjoy it later (which I did!) PF Chang, at this location, you are training your staff to be courteous, attentive, and overall genuine people. In addition, your food in comparison to other PF Chang's that we have been to is superior than most. Thank you for making my birthday special, and thank you to our waiter. You are going to do great in your job!

I find this restaurant a great place to eat when I am shopping at La Canterra. They have a good variety and the service is usually pretty good. The happy hour menu is a bargain.

We checked into our hotel across 1604 and needed a close restaurant that was vegetarian and paleo friendly. We also had the family pet with us so we could not dine in. So we ordered online from our room. We got everything we wanted and the time to pick up curbside. We are curbside to pick up our food, and ended up waiting 20 minutes past our designated time. Many things were missing from our order. It seems that PF Chang's needs to pay a little more attention to their take out service. It was unacceptable that we waited so long. I even called from the car to make sure we were in the right place. After paying, which required the waitress to go back inside, she came back with receipts. After telling her we needed some missing items, this resulted in another trip.

Visiting San Antonio and spotted p.f. changes. Went in and ordered the lettuce wraps and great as always but the presentation was a little different from the last time we visited a p.f.changs in Mission, tx.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Always crowded but tables move quickly. Good service. Standard PF Chang pricing so no surprises.

Have dined at this establishment several times and the food and service are always great, there is a wait on weekends and other busy times, but it is at the mall so you can go put your name in and shop near by or go to the bar, have not been disappointed yet.

Lovely ambiance for a family get together dinner in a cool high ceilinged room with subdued lighting. Dark wood tables and chairs with lanterns hanging from the ceiling above. Service was quick and efficient. My ginger chicken with broccoli and brown rice was delicious and plentiful €14.95 enough for a doggy bag to bring home. The bathroom to the rear was clean. Ample parking outside the main entrance by Dillard’s and Nordstrom.

Our visits in November and December were not as good as in the past. The most notable change has been chewy, slightly undercooked chicken and a saturation of Siracha on dishes that had very little if any Siracha in the past. Both the Korean BBQ Chicken (dish has.a new name, I think) and the Pepper Steak were drenched and it was so overpowering that it was not enjoyable. Please return to the original recipe for these dishes, especially the Pepper Steak which is our favorite - without any Siracha!

Always reliably good Chinese over the years. The new menu however has dropped many standards in favor of starch laden replacements. Pork has been effectively removed from the menu, although sweet and sour pork remains. Prices are up. Selection is down...very disappointing.

We come to visit here every Christmas, or whenever we visit San Antonio. They never let us down! The staff are amazing, they are attentive, and the food is always perfect. We had a new trainee, who was on her last day. She was obviously well experienced and well trained because we had to as if she was the trainee or trainer. The trainer even came and checked on us a few times. The food was great, they handle a big mid afternoon rush on a Saturday without a hiccup. We will be back many times!

Went there on a Friday evening and the place was packed, however to my surprise the service was good and fast, the food was ok nothing extraordinary but left with a good impression due to the service.

Everyone was nice and friendly, the service was fast, even for prime lunch hour. The food was really good too. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Would return.

Have eaten here many times and it's my favorite Chinese in SA. The appetizers and entrees are always great and the service is top notch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend PF Chang's to anyone. Can get crowded if you go at wrong time.

For years I didn't realise P.F. Chang's is owned by Philip Chiang the son of the famous mother Cecilia Chiang who first introduced authentic Chinese food through Mandarin her San Francisco restaurant in 1968. That authenticity is still there in P.F. Chang's! In for lunch and just had 3 dishes - Crispy Green Beans, Summer Spring Rolls, and Pork Dumplings. Green Beans were tender and crispy with a good spicy dipping sauce - difficult to stop eating them. Sizeable portion, good for 2. Summer Spring Rolls were good, but the sauce with them made this dish. Dumplings were pan fried and good perfectly - disappeared very quickly. All in all a very good lunch, and we'll certainly head back to any P.F.'s we find in the future.

My wife and I had been to a P.F. Chang's in Maryland before and felt that it didn't really impress us. We never returned and later moved here to San Antonio. We eventually gave this P.F. Chang's in La Cantera and we were pleasantly surprised. They did overachieve. Although the wait for a table was long, the service was excellent. The waiter attended to us very closely. The food was excellent. We had the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer. They gave a pretty good serving and it tasted great - especially with the mixed sauces. For the main course, my wife had the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. She liked it and I tried a piece - very tasty. I had the Mongolian Beef (tenderloin with the right asian flair.) And this was excellent. Extremely tender meat - the way it should be. I have had chinese restaurants try to pass some other cut of beef off as tenderloin and they lose all credibility with me. The restaurant was crowded, but that is usually a good sign, right?

Not really a PF Chang’s fan b/c I’ve had better but my co-worker wanted to go! Amazing experience from the greeting, ambiance to the service! Alyssa was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and above all passionate! She was honest with her recommendations which was nice! She recommended this new “ramen” style lunch only dish and WOW! I wanted to be a small person and jump in! So flavorfully delicious! I’m not a huge curry fan but I’ll crave this coconut curry like ramen dish and I’ll be back!!! Oh and do your slept a “flavor”....add an egg roll for $2.50!

Stopped in the bar to wait on table. Waitress did not know what Shiner Beer was....WE ARE IN SOUTH TEXAS FOLKS!!!!!.....also, she was a little unsure of what a White Russian was.... After table was ready for us to be seated, I could get cashed out with her....finally had to go to bar and ask for someone to get her and she still did not understand that I was ready to pay and be seated in the restaurant. Food in the dining room was very good as usual.....And service was much improved versus the bar area.....

I've been to various Chang's around the country and this one the servers were especially attentive and gave great recommendations and kept the drinks coming, I don't think I ever saw the empty bottom of a drink. We also had a few children with us and they handled them really well. The food was delicious, though I had the sesame chicken, which is typically a little spicy, this was not spicy AT ALL... like zero. However, all the other food was perfectly done. The location is great, right on the outside of La Cantera Shopping Center and with easy, very easy, access! I will definitely return here!

Terrible experience! Manager (Marshall San Miguel) laughed in my face when I asked for an overcharge of $6.00 be removed. Find another place where your food dollar is appreciated. Wish I could leave zero stars.

My wife and I went here for lunch. She likes the lettuce wraps and was jealous that I went to this restaurant while traveling. So, we agreed to eat lunch here before shopping. You guessed it. We started with the lettuce wraps which were good as always. My wife had a salmon dish. They were out of the salad dressing she ordered so they brought the other two dressings on the side. She was not overly excited about either of them. The salmon was good. I had the same Dala Chicken dish. It is very spicy which I like a lot. The egg drop soup was ok. The service was very good. The server was very attentive. She never allowed our drinks to be empty. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, although we had a inconsiderate patron sitting next to us. He was sitting alone carrying on a loud (had ear phones in) phone converstation. It was very distracting. The restaurant should have talked with him since you could tell they were talking about him. You could tell the other patrons were also disturbed.

Wife and I atre here for a lunch dinner and the food was as well prepared as with other PF Chang's. The breading on the chicken is light and crispy and spice about right. The appetizer for the rolls need to have the other lettuce for the wraps. They are using the cheap lettuce, as compared to other establishments. Other than that the service was nice also. A tip is not refuse a table near the restrooms/waiter stand towards the back of the restaurant. We sat there, not knowing, and all we heard was the waiting staff talking and dishes banging as they place them in the tub after cleaning tables. Thanks for reading. RetiredArmyRANGER

Love PF Chang. Took back to hotel as I was just too tired to sit in restaurant. However there seems to be some problems with their web site that I normally use and that was frustrating.

This is one of our "go to" eateries in San Antonio. Great location at the Shops of La Cantera, with good shopping and good food in one stop. Valet parking for those hot summer days or occasional rainy days. In over a dozen visits, service has been consistently above average. Clean restrooms! Happy hour offers good discounts on variety of appetizers.

We visited around 7:00 on a Saturday evening. Luckily, we made a reservation. We were seated immediately, but I overheard a 45 minute wait for non reservations. The food here is terrific. Five of us came to celebrate a birthday. Everyone loved their meal choices. The wine was very good. The wait staff was perfect. No complaints. This is a great American version of Chinese/Asian cuisine. Always expect a good meal and good service.

First time to visit PF Chang's and was very happy with the dining experience. Food was tasty and service was quick and friendly. We made reservations online for 6pm and were promptly seated upon arrival at 5:45.

We called ahead and made reservations! Good idea to do so because the wait was long for those without a reservation. Waitress very friendly and we received great service. Main entrée was disappointing. Lemon chicken was overcooked and very hard to cut! Appetizer (Lettuce Wraps) were delicious!

Stopped to buy pork dumplings. Paid $9 for them. 10 minutes waiting time. Good service and they were delicious as well..

DISAPPOINTING IN EVERY WAY! First, I waited over 20 minutes just to get a bottle of water that I ordered when I arrived at my table. The entree portions were LESS THAN HALF of their previous size! The food also seems to be mainly reheated frozen food now LOADED with MSG to cover lack of flavor. Additionally, the lights at the table are extremely blinding and caused a migraine headache. Or was it the frozen food loaded with extra MSG? (*Note: lighting shown in this site pic is not current. This pic shows previous lighting, which was perfect. What's there now makes it impossible to even read menu and injures eyes.) The experience was subpar in every single way. I will NEVER return to another PF Changs again and I used to enjoy visiting this establishment. SAD GREED!! VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS AND DON'T SUPPORT CORPORATIONS THAT ARE EXTRACTIVE. WAKE UP AND SAY NO WAY!!!

While I would not say it's the best Chinese food I have ever had, the food is of good quality given this is a "chain" restaurant.

Beef & Broccoli and Banana spring rolls make for a exceptional meal. The dessert comes with an amazing coconut-pineapple ice cream. We visit every trip to SA.

We eat at this location about once a month and the food is consistently great. The waitstaff is efficient and warm, never intrusive. The pepper steak is out=r favorite and the chili green beans are fantastic.

Love to go here. Either for lunch or dinner. Food is always amazing. Staff is on top of their game too. If 2 people they have a great dinner for 2 with lots of choices.

We went to a late lunch on Father’s Day and we lucky enough to get Elaine as our waitress! She was wonderful, even though it was busy. We took our 2 sons and girlfriend who live in San Antonio and she helped them sign up for a rewards card. She took care of us all fabulously, and even had time to talk and tell us about her family 😀 When she saw how my husband loves fortune cookies, she gave him extra! Thank you so much for a fantastic Father’s Day!

We ate lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent as always. The arrive was outstanding. Our waiter, Brian, worked very hard to make sure our experience was terrific. He was outstanding and an asset to the establishment. We will return.

Was my older daughter’s birthday, So my wife, our older daughter and I had lunch at PF Chang's at La Cantera. My wife and I met her PF Chang's at 2:00 P.M. and my daughter was already seated outside! . Our waitress took awhile, so we watch birds eating the left overs on the table next to us. I believe they just forget about us. We seemed to wait longer than usual for our food, but our waitress was very tentative. Someone from the kitchen brought out all the plates that we ordered at once. I understand their food made from scratch in each restaurant, every day! We ordered following: Cecilia’s shrimp dumplings - Served steamed or pan-fried, drizzled with a light chili sauce Ginger chickens with a broccoli - Ginger-garlic aromatics, green onion, a steamed broccoli Mongolian beeves - Sweet soy glaze, flank steak, garlic, snipped green onion Cchang’s lobster & shrimp rice - Crisp pieces of lobster&shimp, Fresno peppers, shiitakes, egg Signature lo mein - Egg noodles, mushrooms, Asian vegetables, savory soy sauce. Protein options: Vegetable, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Shrimp, Combo Overall a very good lunch!

Loved the warm, friendly and chatty waiters/waitresses! Nothing was ever too much trouble and they showed genuine interest in where we were from (ie. New Zealand); The food was absolutely fresh and tasty and it was also presented beautifully and served in a timely fashion. My daughter and I sat outside in the warmth of the night, surrounded by the lively ambience created by the staff, diners and shoppers. We will definitely return! Thank you P.F. Chang's!

Went to happy hour with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best happy hour menus ever. Food and drinks are great and very reasonable. The bar area is nice and service was very good. Definitely plan to go back.

It has been many years since I have eaten at a PF Chang restaurant and I was not disappointed. It was just what I expected, great service, great tasting food and for the money lot's of food to eat. Lettuce wraps were the reasons I chose to eat there and they were excellent.

Regardless of how fancy a place looks, if their food is substandard, the whole place is. The egg drop soup, typically a vibrant yellow with bright green scallion was brown and ambiguously flavored, almost as if they didn't have enough left and mixed it with the hot and sour soup. The orange peel beef lacked sufficient orange peel to name the plate as such. The beef cuts were too large to eat with a fork, let alone chip sticks and I had to cut it all with a knife. That is an epic fail for Chinese food. I won't return.

I didn't have reservations when I showed up for dinner. But I was seated after only a brief wait. Kinda busy. I ordered the Peking Duck: crisped duck, julienne vegetables, roti flatbread, chili paste. This entrée came with brown rice. Lots of very tasty food. Not cheap but worth the price. Service was pretty good.

We tried to keep the order small as it would have been easy to over order. Most diners were taking home half of what they had ordered. The food was as good as we remember from other visits in other locations and the ambiance unique. Well worth a visit.

We would visit the P F Chang's in Corpus Christi on a regular basis. Since moving to New Braunfels we have to travel a bit to get to our favorite restaurants. Chang's was well worth the minute drive. It was a little tricky to find in the shopping complex but we were not disappointed. The staff was very pleasant and professional. The food was terrific as we were accustomed to getting. The portions large enough to split between the 2 of us. Will definitely make the drive again.

Delivered by Grubhub, some of the food order was forgotten and it wasn't the best quality. Never got the rest of my dinner.

Always love to eat there, great asian food. I always visit at least once every time I visit San Antonio. Love the soups!!

I had heard and read bad reviews of this place so we were kind of hesitant of going. We had only been to the Austin location and loved it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted sincerely and warmly even though we have 3 spirited children. When asked if we had been there before we said only to the Austin locale and the waitress said very confidently " oh we are much better" and boy was she right. We were attended to very attentively. And the food was delicious.

We've been going here for many years and found it last visit to be disappointing. You cannot order anything noted as a spicy symbol with "no spices". Even the "no spices" items such as Pad Tai we were told was spicey and could not be made deferently. Soup took a while to get at the table. Almost immediately after getting the soup we got the main courses. It will be a long time before I go back or even go back at all.

We were looking for a quiet relaxing meal and found it at La Cantera. Our hostess responded well to our request for a remote booth. We scored a skillful server named Trevor and were off on our gustatory journey. Alas, there are no lunch specials that include entree, soup, and an eggroll for $6. Most of the lunch menu is a la carte. They do have some lunch portions which include soup. I had the hot and sour soup. This version was much thicker than most and loaded with chicken, tofu, and several types of mushrooms. An excellent choice. My BW ordered the egg drop soup and she give it a thumb's up. My entree was the chicken, almonds, cashews and peanuts with veggies in a mild brown sauce. I enjoy a little more kick in my Chinese food but that's not a problem here. There are seven different sauces on your table to start and more available upon request. The degree of hotness in your meal is up to you. My BW enjoyed her crisp honey chicken and had some left over for another day. I had ordered the dinner portion and also had a lot for a roadie. This was the most relaxing, enjoyable, Chinese food experience in a long time. It goes against the norm, because Chinese food is normally eaten in bright, busy, and noisy places. Relaxing Chinese dining is even better here.

The lettuce wraps are awesome, however, my favorite "sleeper dish" is the spicy eggplant ... you can order it with chicken also if you feel like adding a little protein!

The food is always great as expected for the price (15-19 dollars for the entrees we picked). It came with Brown or Steamed Rice, but for a "Small Up Charge" you can get Fried Rice ($6 up charge). We also order the 2 piece Crab Wanton appetizer, but for a "Small Up Charge" you can get 2 more (another $6). I think it is used to make the total ticket price higher to inflate the amount of tip you are guilt-ed into paying. Just my opinion, but I think Fried Rice should not be an up charge at all.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Excellent food, gluten free options, happy hour drinks, and nice environment. Music was slightly annoying, but nothing’s perfect. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I took my mom here for her birthday lunch. Elaine was our server. From the start she was so friendly and attentive. Told us about the reward program and even helped me with it on my phone. She was always there with a refill on our mango teas and kept us in the loop about our next course. I can say that she was the best server I have ever had and I am myself a server. She was sweet and so kind the whole meal even when I could tell she was busy. Brought my mom a birthday dessert with a sparkling bottle for extra flair. Sure this is something that they just do for everyone but she didn’t make it seem that way. Elaine you are the reason I will come back! Thank you!!

Fried green beans, well of course. Lettuce wraps for the hralth conscious. Cute and just thr right size desserts Good service always and rrasonable.

We ordered the Lettuce Wrap and Pad Thai. i requested extra hot and spicy for the Pad Thai. it came out tasting bland and not very spicy or hot. Also, the noodles were tough. when asked how the meal was, we told him the lettuce wrap were great, but not the Pad Thai, because o tough noodles and not very spicy or hot. He did not offer any remedy.

We’ve traveled all over the country eating at P.F Chang’s and NONE could come close to the outstanding food and service we experienced at lunch today. The food tasted fresher and more flavorful than other locations we’ve eaten at. The service by Elaine was outstanding. PF Chang’s should really use Elaine as a trainer and the chef as an instructor as well..........this team knows how to do it right. They both are 5 stars and PF Chang’s San Antonio are lucky to have the. We can’t wait to make this our weekly hang in our new hometown.

Luckily we made a reservation before arriving since it was packed for Mother’s Day. Seated quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and made great menu suggestions. Egg rolls were tasty. Beef dumplings were great. Will have again in the future. All moms got complimented dessert. What a treat!

We eat at this location at least once a month. Our granddaughter loves that she can eat vegetarian. The egg drop soup, the chicken egg rolls, lettuce wraps, hot and sour soup are all great. What I really appreciate is the way they "work" with their diners. I love the chicken lo mein. However, I love celery, water chestnuts, and the snap pea pods in it. They are very accommodating to add this to my meal for a small extra charge. They also now have a frequent diners club. We've gotten free appetizers, free entrees, desserts. It's free and I recommend joining.

The restaurant is tucked in LaCantera so you can shop, dine and have fun thus making it an ideal place for having a meal. The restaurant is huge and we preferred having a seat outside. Pros: Food quality, great staff, can customize according to taste Cons: None

We got two appetizers and the Kun Poa Chicken to share. WE got the Fried Won Tons and the Lettuce Wraps. Everything was delicious. We had great service too!

I hate to write a negative review of a favorite of ours in the past, but the last several times we have eaten there have gone from bad to worse. The decline seemed to start in late Fall with our last visit being the worst. Terribly slow service, constant mix-ups with our order and bill. The worst part was the food. Stale, crunchy rice, no sauce on the table to add to our food and the food was...COLD. Yuck. This place is too pricey and we would only return during the week for a lunch special. Hope the quality improves as we once loved to eat here.

Great food and server MARTIN was the best server we have had there. We have eaten there many times. We really enjoyed our night out. I always have egg drop soup and lettuce wraps and my husband tries different things. Best Chinese in SA.

I was there for a business lunch yesterday. There was a change of shift and the new server that took over ended up double charging us. We had left cash behind and a debit card. Apparently he took cash and also charged card. I noticed it wasn't even authorized with a signature by me. Manager the next day came by and showed no empathy. He was very dry and should little interest on what previously happened. It was my first business lunch in that restaurant and will never go back.

A friend and I went there for lunch, the atmosphere was really friendly, the food was good and tasty, there are many choices to select from, the price is fair price. I had the shrimp fried rice, I really enjoy it.

This place is so clean and has a cozy ambience that you just want to stay here forever, food great specially hot and sour soup, Mongolian need also great and they also have two for 40 which is convenient when our with wife , highly recommended.

As asian food chain restaurants go, PF Chang's is a cut will above the rest. The food was fresh, spiced just right and filling. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The decor is upscale and the booths and tables are comfortable. I have ordered several different dishes each time we dine here and have yet to find something I didn't like. While it is more expensive than your typical asian restaurant, it is worth the price.

One thing about PF Chang’s ... I can always count on a great meal. Sonia and I dined in last night and we feasted. Started off with appetizers - pork and chicken rolls with a cold beer and glass of wine. Sonia had a oriental chicken salad and I had Chang’s spicy chicken. There is a new menu that I am still getting used to. The only negative was we tried ordering sushi with rice paper instead of sea weed and they could not carry out our requests. Besides that great atmosphere and wonderful food.

Our family dines here once a month and the food is consistently good. The food is a bit pricey, but the entrees can be split for smaller appetites. Our go-to for Asian food.

We are new to San Antonio. There are so many restaurants here and we've been having fun trying the different ones. Yesterday, while we were walking around La Cantera shopping mall, we stumbled upon PF Changs, so we decided to check it out. I had a cup of hot and sour soup and a chicken egg roll. My husband had the Hokkien Street Noodles bowl. We loved our meal and cannot wait to go back. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Warning though...it is busy there and you may have a wait to get in, but it is well worth it.

The Chinese food was exquisite. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I have had in years! The egg rolls were very good, and the service was excellent!

PF Chang's used to be one of my family's favorite restaurant. However, over the years, it appears as though the quality of the food is not the same. I only had a Spring Roll for lunch. It was just "ok"

Had lunch with friends at PF Chang's at La Cantera. We were waiting for them to open at 11 AM and were seated quickly! It seems that in a very short time the place completely filled. Our waitress took our order rather quickly but I believe the crowd slightly overwhelmed the kitchen staff. We seemed to wait longer than usual for our food but it was very good as always! Service throughout the meal was somewhat slow but again this was almost certainly because of the crowd. Overall a very good lunch!

It seems to be exactly like every other P.F. Changs, good service, great tasting food, reasonable prices. Located at La Cantera, a great place for lunch but be aware, it is always busy! Showed up at 1:30 pm and it had a 30 minute wait, on a Tuesday. We were seated before the 30 minutes and the food came out quickly. Food tasted great. This place is always a good option.

My friend and I had lunch here and was very disappointed with it. I ordered the Eggplant entree and asked to have chicken added. It was not good. They used ground chicken instead of slices of chicken and the sauce was so-so salty. I only ate a little of my meal. The hot and sour soup was just OK. I think I will find another lunch venue. The service was fair.

The food was great! Great quality, great quantity, great taste, great service! If I was in San Antonio longer I would go again! The service was of a high standard and the shaken beef a delight. Oh and the Great Wall of Chocolate is not for the faint of heart!

Stopped in for lunch on a recent Friday! We were pleased at the willingness of the staff to "adjust" the menu slightly to ensure we we pleased with our seafood selections. Remember, you can always ask. We also enjoyed the Crispy Green Bean appetizer.

Food here is amazing , I ordered the Chang spicy chicken with white rice along with banana rolls , due to dining on a Wednesday the rolls were only $3. I will definitely dine again the next time I vacation at LaCantera Resort & Spa.
Not the best PF Changs
My wife and I have been to other PF Changs in other cities and had MUCH better food. The one at La Cantera was a huge disappointment. We've had better oriental food at fast food places. We didn't eat half of it. Needless to say, we won't be back.
