Wow - needed to get away from the hacienda for a while & get a late breakfast. Brunch was great with migas, avocado taco and, most importantly, a carafe of mimosas !!!

I have been going to Pacha for years and just realized I should write a review. First, it is a small local place that is very colorful and fun. The staff are friendly and glad you are that. And then....the pies, quiches, the pies...that crust so good. It is beautiful to behold. Good coffee. Good tacos. And there is a creative piece of art in the restrooms for the transition from the men's then women's to...whomever.

Kristine with a K is amazing and so welcoming. She can relate to me and my girl while giving great service and options. She was a great asset for the counter bc she knows us without knowing us. I love this place. The atmosphere is my vibe. I might start coming once a week.

Laid back, great organic food and awesome coffee. Try the fruit filled pancakes. Blueberry is the bomb! I would go for the half pancake if you are having eggs. The bacon is also spectacular. It is one of the best cups of coffee in town. Downside is the parking. But be patient and drive around a bit. It is worth the walk/wait!

The employees are always welcoming, the food is healthy and good, and the coffee is good, too. A great place to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. Tiny and not a lot of parking space, so living nearby is a definite plus.

A wonderful little coffee shop with an excellent eclectic menu. They serve brunch all day with a wonderful mix of vegan and traditional choices. It's on my come back to list whenever we're back in Austin.

We had lunch in this little place because a friend from Austin told us to go there to get something that not only consists of meat (as my girlfriend is a vegetarian). The place is small and cosy with little tables and chairs - we ended up on the porch in the back of the place. The food is organic and very tasty, even though it is not the cheapest of all places. The staff was friendly and the food was served quick. If we're ever back in Austin, we will stop there again - next time maybe for dinner.

My wife and I both had pancakes, one with blueberries, the other with strawberries. They were excellent, not stacked, but one rather large flat pancake. Real maple syrup.

Pacha is a beautiful quaint little cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Pacha coffee was the best, it was very rich, full bodied and flavorful. The food is also yummy and fresh, I actually had to wait for the quiche to cool down from the oven before they could serve me a piece. I had several dishes during my stay in Austin and they were all good. One thing though, lunch hour was busier than breakfast time, so it may take longer to be served. The staff were friendly. I loved this cafe.

This tiny restaurant is a gem. Order their pancakes or create your own from the ingredients listed. I had blueberry with coconut and it was truly the best pancake I ever had. The bacon and cheddar pancake is delicious too. The eggs are fresh and there are lots of different types of tea on the menu. Everything is made fresh after you order.

Great place. Nothing fancy, just great pancakes. Their pancakes have a great twist, they put large pieces of fruit right in the batter. Not little pieces like most places, big pieces. Take a look at the photo in this review. I went with the pears, and you get big slices right in the batter. More like a french tart than a pancake. I went for the smaller size, you can get a bigger one for a few dollars more. I also ordered the yogurt with fruit, and a sprinkle of granola. It was good, but as good or unquie as the pancake. Plus they have a full coffee and espresso service. Menu is here http://www.pachatx.com/Cafe_Pacha/Menu.html

Easy to miss on Burnet but worth stopping in. I had the hash - delicious. It was different with chopped beef, potatoes, rutabaga, onions and stuff. It was spicy too. Also tried the cowboy cookie- yummy. I will make it my business to make a return visit. Parking is challenging.

Awesome delicious food and coffee- I’d recommend Pacha highly!! The eggs were soft and full of tasty vegetables. My blueberry pancake was also light, with just enough crispy on the outside.

We were in Austin for the Formula One race and were staying in a nearby temporary rental. We decided to try Pacha the first morning and ended up going there all four mornings. Delicious food, unique Austin atmosphere and very friendly people. Rather small so it tends to fill up on weekends. We averaged $10-$12 per person, which with quality and portion size we thought was quite fair. Highly recommend.

With the abundance of places to drink in downtown Austin, Pacha is definitely a must stop. Amazing selection of top shelf alcohol and probably the best bartenders in town. They can dream up something or have something solid ready and waiting.

Loved the savory sweet pear bacon pancake. Yummy! The chai tea latte was also delicious. Go on a weekday if possible as it gets packed.

The 5 of us stopped here for breakfast. Although the service was very slow and it was not crowded, and they served the pancakes in shifts, (the waiter said they have a small grill) the pancakes were delightful! I had the peach pancake with 2 eggs. It was huge and YUMMY! They gave my husband a free coffee refill because he got his breakfast last. This is a very small place. There is parking in the back and also some extra seating on the back porch. If we had gotten all our meals at the same time I would have given it 5 stars. I can't remember ever having a better pancake!

We had a very good breakfast here. Small location with only about 13 tables inside. Patio seating available. Order at the counter reading off the chalkboard menus. Emphasis on organic local ingredients. Blueberry pancake was good (but not the beast I've ever eaten, as was advertised). Omelet also was good. The menu is extensive, so we need to go back and try more stuff. You get a tarot card for your table "number". Hippies live!

Pacha has great food and great coffee. 5 of us arrived around 10 am and were lucky enough to get one of the few tables right away. We ordered a number of items and shared them all. Our favorite was the hash! Parking can be a challenge. Highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood.

This is a very causal coffeehouse and restaurant that just happens to have the best pancakes I've every had in Austin. They also have great breakfasts and a small but tasty lunch menu. It harkens back to the older hipper Austin of Mariposa, etc. If you are a tourist and want quick service and slickness this is not the place for you. But if you are willing to wait at busy times and hang out, this is one of the best places for you in Austin.

We got to Pacha around 9am and it was SUPER packed which is good for most restaurants but this place is tiny. We thought about leaving but decided that we would stick it out. That was a good idea. Despite the small , cramped space and long wait for the food, the staff was friendly and the grub was great. If you are impatient, this is not your place. If you can handle being squeezed a bit and like organic food, this is your spot.

Get the pear and bacon pancakes...they won't disappoint! I might need to have them again tomorrow. They get busy so expect minimal parking and a wait inside. Definitely not a place for a quick breakfast but perfect for catching up with a friend.

Hey, it's Austin, what else needs be said. With very little parking and what exists is not convenient, this little old house contains a nice coffee establishment (with ALL sorts of tastes, sizes, combinations to suit most anyone), and a decent variety and array of different casual dishes to complement the beverages. Met our son for a coffee and light brunch before heading out of town. I heard both son and wife comment that the machiado wasn't very good ("grainy" was their word) but my iced regular brew went very well with the bagel, cream cheese and salmon (along with a really great tasting sort of salsa containing both red and sweet onion, chopped green onion tops, diced tomatoes and capers). Prices were very reasonable, too. A very comfortable spot to share time with friends and relax.

The best tea I have ever tasted, but then again I just began drinking tea, after having this yummy tea for the first time. Awesome food, I love how natural their food is and how kind the workers are. The place is small and cozy. There are games to help put your children at ease, or fill the time as you wait for your order. Recommend this place to all breakfast lovers!

Tiny cafe in a converted Craftsman-style house. Very "New Bohemian" atmosphere. Really tasty, fresh food. Organic, local, fair-trade. Excellent coffee. Wine, beer, mimosas available. A big plus – gluten-free options available. Be prepared for very limited parking at the cafe.

This place rocks. The coffee was very rich and full-bodied...really enjoyable. We ordered the Beef Hash and the Blueberries pancakes. Both were very flavorful and truly delicious. I loved the intimate and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it even if you have to drive a distance... it is worth it.

I would like to say that local and organic food is the best thing about Pacha. But the laid back atmosphere, polite service and delicious food sure make every aspect of dining and drinking here a top notch experience. Plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor allow a great meeting and family spot to get your grub on. The music is low enough to allow conversation and still provide ambiance. Despite its restaurant style atmosphere, Pacha is a come order when you're ready and bus your own table affair. This explains the low prices and speedy delivery of everything. If you're looking for a good breakfast or early morning hangout, this is it!

Local Austinite couple who enjoys authentic and unique restaurants :p! Here's our review of Pacha! * How likely is it that you would recommend our product/service to a friend or colleague? Very likely!! Pacha is a MUST experience for breakfast or weekend brunch! * How do you rate your last experience with us? Our experience was marvelous! We were pleased with the unique touch of the cards to signify our order. We aim for the experiences that are distinct, food you can't cook exactly at home, and personal experiences, and we received that all here at Pacha. I had the Pear Bacon Scallion Pancake, and wow! It tasted and felt like a family bbq and grandma's breakfast in one! It saturates so great on the palette in your mouth, you won't regret this choice. My partner ordered classic blueberry pancakes, sausage, and eggs. We shared a Greek quiche, one of the best we've had yet! To drink, we had a Toddy cold brew (great for something strong to wake you up), and a Cafe con Leche. * What else would you like us to know? It's also important to remember if you order pancakes, try it first WITHOUT syrup. This is what I was talking about "family bbq + grandma's breakfast" in one, you don't need the syrup! It's amazing without it! Very rare to find!

Another stand-in-line-and-place-your-order restaurant, with a tiny, very eclectic dining room. There may be outside seating, but it was chilly when we were there, so we didn't explore that option. Menu is limited, but our pancakes and French toast were delish. Service is help-yourself to the extreme -- you scrounge at counters at the side of the room for eating utensils, napkins, water, etc. But it all sort of works with the hippy, casual vibe.

This all day breakfast establishment has some incredibly unique dishes. Established in a rickety old house, the food they serve has immense flavor. We tried a 3 egg omelette, the breakfast sandwich on French toast, the vegetable torta, and the pear and Bacon pancake. The food was absolutely amazing and stuffed both of us. We would love to come back here!

This is a tiny little house with organic food and drinks. It's a local place and has been around for ages. There is inside and outside seating. I drive a truck and while there are a few parking spots at Pacha it's just difficult to park a truck. I ordered their pear/bacon pancake and a coffee. Their pancakes come in both savory and fruity variations. It was really pretty to see- perfectly cut pears and strips of bacon layered onto a pan then the batter poured over the top and cooked. It was an interesting texture- solid-more like an Asian version than the light fluffy pancakes I am used to. But it was very tasty.

Fruit bowl had rotten grapes and blueberries on the bottom. Eggs were overcooked. Bacon was mostly fat. People who work there have an attitude problem. Flies were everywhere (inside). Food was way overpriced. There are a number of good places in Austin where organic food is available. This is definitely not one of them!

Pacha is located in an former old house, very pretty and the inside is very charming as well. We stopped there for breakfast and I ordered the banana pancakes with bacon on the side and my husband ordered the omelette with the tamale inside. The pancake was fantastic, with plenty of fruit in the batter and the ones on the crust had caramelized and were just a dream! My husband loved his omelette, the tamale inside is genius! The coffees and teas are delicious too. Everything here is organic, the eggs are from pastured hens, things that are important to me, but even if you don't care about these things, you will enjoy a wonderful meal at Pacha. The place is small and has a little patio, be prepared to wait on the weekends, but go...you won't regret it.

Pretty small inside so my family had to sit at separate tables (thanks to 2 guys talking about a 17th century Latin book over a cup of joe... No starbucks?). Floors are all wood so it's pretty noisy if every table is taken. Aside from these two things, the food was awesome! Which is why we're here right? Much better than any fast food you'll ever get!!! Great job to the cooks

This is in convenient walking distance from my house and I and my dear friend used to love walking up here and chatting. their drinks are lovely and the food nice. however as it became more popular it became...Difficult. It's in an old house (as many businesses in my neighborhood are) and when it is a weekend morning, and there are ten people waiting in line and about twenty seated at tables it gets loud, laborious and tedious. and even when it isn't rush hour it's still incredibly loud with music playing at full blast. I don't like coffee shops that play music. usually people go to them to work or chat with friends (have done both) and they don't want songs from the eighties echoing off the walls. I am also slightly disappointed in there menu. the food they have is good, but there's so little of it for me anyway. I have a wide range of food difficulties and one is that I don't eat eggs. i also I don't eat gluten or meat so in other words I have to order sides. but do not despare. in the late afternoon on week days it usually is quiet and the food, if you can eat it, is really quite delicious and the drinks to are worth trying. just avoid weekend mornings.

The food was beyond what I could ever hope for. It was fast, tasty, and the service was SO great! The guy knew all about the menu and was nice and funny. Even the iced black tea tasted better than I've ever had anywhere (and it had free refills!)

Went here for breakfast. I had pear/bacon/scallion pancake and it was Delicious!! Son had fruit pancake and other had quiche, all very good. Cute quaint place and great food!

The coffee is good (check), the pancakes are AWESOME (check), the location is centrally located (check) . . . so what if the staff is grumpy and the patrons are all bearded unicorns! The food is delightful. After living in Austin for a LONG time, it's great to still find these hidden gems in a city which opens new eateries like most people snack on popcorn . . . HOT and great one minute, out of business the next. Pacha has a small, but impactful menu and the pear, bacon, scallion pancake is not to be missed.

We stopped here for a breakfast bite before our heading out to San Antonio. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the parking. There is limited space to park around the restaurant itself but we found one right down the street. We both had coffee, grapefruit juice and the yogurt granola brunch with fresh fruit, The oranges were the best I have had for many years. They were sweet, zesty and refreshing. The staff were cordial and friendly. Got our food on time and the portions were just right. Would definitely stop by again.

This is an Austin Gem with great coffee, nice staff, and amazing, farm fresh food. I ordered a pancake with pears, scallions, and bacon (I know! Sounds great, doesn't it?). It WAS. In fact, it was so good that I keep getting the same thing and can't really recommend anything else because that's all I've tried! Worth a stop if you like food with your coffee!

after his eye doctor appointment, his daughter & I took my 101 year old father-in-law to get a bite on the way back home & it was a very relaxing & enjoyable experience.

My son who lives in Austin took me to Pacha for Breakfast. What a treat. The coffee is among the best I've ever had. They have a full Breakfast menu. I had the Granola & Yogurt Bowl, and my son had famous Pancakes. The service was excellent. It's an intimate setting and we enjoyed visiting with several young families. Can't wait to go back.

We loved that the restaurant is locally-owned; the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They're known for pancakes and you should definitely get them. We had a peach pancake and their specialty pear bacon chives pancake. However, there's not enough difference in the pancake sizes to justify the price jump, so recommend getting a small pancake. Also, beware the cost of the add-ons. The menu says "up to $3.50" for each but our sliver of avocado was that, so just assume all add-ons are. $50 for brunch for two people seemed high.

Well, it's a "neighborhood" breakfast restaurant because parking can be a problem. Atmosphere is congenial and pleasant. Coffee is very good (which is a perennial problem in Austin). While the food is a bit on the bland side, the variety is good and the service is excellent.

We usually come to Pacha's for their pancakes, they are amazing! I love the pear, bacon and green onion pancake, but the berry pancakes are excellent as well. They always use fresh fruit and very good quality bacon. The quiche, veggie torte and empanadas are also excellent. This is a small cottage with a minuscule kitchen where everything is made fresh to order, so don't come here if you are in a hurry.

Living just 45 minutes north of Austin, my wife & I often make overnight trips there to see shows, shop, and, of course, eat the delicious variety of foods available. But we found that when it came to the next morning we were more prone to a quick drive thru and on the road for breakfast. Glad we didn't do that this time! We decided to find a list of the top breakfast spots in Atown. Didn't care where it was. There were plenty of local options but one stuck out, Pacha. When you get there, it's just a small house with limited parking, but it seemed to emit a cool vibe. The menu was a mix of vegan and non-vegan options, lots of organic ingredients, quiches, and coffees. And not only does the place have character, but the staff there does too. The guy at the register was a hoot! And he let us now we got there just in time. It gets pretty packed on Sunday's. And sure enough, as we sat and drank our coffee waiting for our order, the crowds started coming. Hipsters & the young parents with their tots. Gays & goths. The young & the old. It was a perfect mix of the Austin community. At that moment, the world was perfectly balanced. And all because we found our common ground. A great Breakfast at Pacha. We will be back!

For a distinctively cozy place with good creative food, stop at Pacha. Decor consists of an assortment of artwork, mismatched cups, plates, flatware, tables and chairs. Food and taste is consistently good. This is the fourth visit to Pacha and all has been good. Yes, I have failed to write a review but it may have been unconsciously done. Or perhaps I wanted to keep the place secret since it quickly fills up and parking is prime. I will let the awesome food speak for itself. I give Pacha a 4 rating simply because the table was sticky with syrup and floor was dusty
Great coffee and vibe!
Loved my coconut milk latte and the vibe of this coffee shop. I work from home, so I'm always looking for new places to set up my office. The internet speed is great here and I will be back to try the food!
