I really enjoyed this place! It's right on the beach so there's a beautiful view of the ocean. The tortilla soup and grilled mahi mahi fish tacos were amazing!!! My husband got steak tacos and loved them too. Their corn tortillas are the best I've ever had.

Good vibe having drinks watching the sunset. Friendly helpful staff. Tacos and beer were delicious too.

The servers were so rude. They barely checked on us, were rude and unfriendly, and the food was average at best. Don’t waste your time or money here.

The best!!! Go Badgers!!! I've been there a bunch, but haven't written a review, until now. They do it right! The Mojitos were actually really good!!

Maybe it was a bad idea to go here for dinner with my family but that's not the reason i gave it two stars. The Calamari appetizer was way overcooked, tasted like rubber bands. The chicken strips also way overcooked, could barely cut them with the knife. On the other hand my fish tacos were pretty good. I would probably recommend it for drinks and people watching but definitely not for food. How can you mess up calamari and chicken strips ?

We ate here a couple times when we were staying at the Ocean view hotel which is right next door. the burgers we had were good but the tater tots they serve were excellent, crispy and cooked just right, the beers and margaritas also good. Was kind of expensive, but we were on vacation and don't mind spending on good food.

We were served very large portions of brisket, more than we could eat. We also had a great view of the ocean.

Loved the Chicken and Fish tacos. Had several fancy drinks while we looked out at Pacific Beach, enjoying the view and food. We loved the queso dip and chips also. Very affordable and yummy!

We stopped here while walking Mission Beach looking for a drink, a snack and a view - we got it all. We sat outside on the deck and waited quite a while for a server so we decided to move farther back (it was windy anyway and we thought further back it may not be) seemed to work, we had three people ask if we needed anything. We had a chicken taco, tater tot appetizer and chips with guacamole and salsa along with one drink each (there were two of us). The bill was $50, the atmosphere made it worth it. The food was OK, but nothing amazing. The guac had a kick to it which I really liked but was loaded with onion. The taco was good too, but we emptied a whole side salad worth of lettuce out of it to even taste the rest of the taco. We would probably go back, but maybe just for a drink and the view.

We stopped here for a drink and a snack while walking down the boardwalk on our first evening in PB. We got a seat at the window bar overlooking the ocean and surfers, great view! They had a decent draft beer selection, we both went with the 'Spacedust' which we were already fans of. The server was nice and took a few minutes to talk about PB and places to try. We got an order of the Ahi Poke which we enjoyed very much. The tuna was fresh and presented nicely. We would definitely recommend this place.

Went for breakfast and the items were fairly good. The White egg omelette was presented well and tasted good. Great potatoes. Other person in the party had a couple of breakfast sausages and a bagel - decent and a good value. Coffee was bad - not a good taste.

I have never met a bouncer on a bigger power trip than the ones at shore club. This dude obviously has nothing else going for him. Which is sad. Because shore club is a gross bar as it stands. I honestly feel bad for him. Try being a normal human dude.

Does PB Shore Club serve the best breakfast in Pacific Beach? Nope. Is the service great? Not by a long shot. How's the crowd-watching? Nothing special. BUT!!! If you want to watch football from a 2nd floor beachfront location with wall-to-wall windows cranked open to let the ocean breezes flow in so you don't feel too guilty about spending a beautiful day inside.. If you want to watch surfers and eye candy on the beach as you enjoy a tasty breakfast or a cold one and a fish taco... If you want to be mesmerized by sunrays glinting off cresting waves as the crashing surf roars in your ears on a day that's just a little too cold or windy to be on the beach in shorts and a tank top... then go to Shore Club. You won't be disappointed. Took my 20-something nephews there to watch football and they were ecstatic.

The husband and I are at Pacific Beach Shore Club for a late lunch after kayaking up at La Jolla caves. I was surprised to find a bouncer checking IDs upon entry at 1:00 pm... Just a heads up if you're an adult to remember to bring your ID. Kids were in the restaurant, but adults must accompany kids. The atmosphere was awesome, very relaxed. It's nice to be able to look out at the waves crashing while dining and having a few beers. The restaurant got a bit busy (odd for a Tuesday late lunch) and only two waitresses were working the tables. All the bus boys and food runners stepped in to help the servers meet the customers needs. Everyone was very nice. I loved my Shore Club Sandwich & the hubs said his chicken fingers were ok. I would definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere and location and decent food. Give it a try!

Tried this place out during a recent trip and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly the food was great and service was efficient.Definitely would go back again just to try rest of menu items.Go early for the good seating overlooking the beach and the people..

We had a wonderful lunch with an oceanfront view on a great deck! The Tri Tip Wrap still makes my mouth water. The blend of steak, Gorgonzola, fresh veggies, and chipotle aioli blended perfectly with each bite! Matched with an ice cold beer makes it wonderful!

In Pacific Beach, The Pacific Beach Shore Club is awesome. The food rocks, they serve beer and cocktails in big goblets and the best view of the ocean. Their outside patio has long tables so it's easy to socialize! My favorite time is sunset!

Made reservations for two at 6:30 on the heated patio, it's a must to see the green flash. Started off with the guacamole, perfection, highly advised it. I got the Perfect Margarita and she got the Green Flash Margarita. The paella was good and I got the mahi mahi, the wedge salad added for a great overall dinner. So much food we didn't have room for dessert. I would highly advise making reservations. In the words of Arnold...I will be back.

This place is right by the beach. For the sunset time you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on their terrace with a cold beer. during the evening the vibe change in a real american bar style till 2 in the morning. Just locals but very fun

Very nice local bar. Overlooks the ocean. Did not go overboard, had a mahi sandwich and some really good tater tots. My son really likes this place as you can surf and then come in and grab a cold beer and some good food. All in all I really liked the place. Our server was excellent and always checking to see if we needed something.

You come to this place because of the ambiance, not the food. A favorite place for locals to hang out,k especially at sunset.

this was an ok place for beer. good size deck that overlooks the ocean. tends to be a younger group.

I came across an article about the PB Shore Club, and I HAD to try one of the Redbull Vodka slushies. I came here on a Sunday night, and I couldn't believe how packed it was. I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes. It's definitely a spot for the younger scene. I kind of felt like I was at a bad frat house party. Some of the customers were a little sloppy, but most of the bartenders were friendly. Despite the crowd, I was able to get my slushie almost immediately. It was definitely stronger than I had expected. Let's just say I had lots of water and advil in the morning after only one. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this.

Hard to get drinks re-filled or get any server's attention. All our food was good - great calamari, queso dip, corn soyrizo dip, chicken strips... Food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait.... and you can't beat the view here.

We can here for dinner one night right at sunset and it was amazing! If you are looking for great drink specials and delicious bar food right on the beach then definitely don't miss this place!

Excellent burger and club sandwich and the view of the beach and ocean is perfect. It's great to sit by the front windows and enjoy the view while you eat your lunch and sip on a beer, margarita or our favorite drink from the full bar.

This place was a pinnacle of our trip but it may have been that we were halfway through and finally feeling totally relaxed. It’s located on a busy main strip of Mission Beach in San Diego. It’s on the second floor and we sat at bar-style seating at the windows, which look out on the ocean and the ‘boardwalk.’ Terrific people watching. We could actually feel the sun and the windows opened nearly completely. Counter to the slightly frat-bar look of the place, the food was delicious. I ordered a perfect little oyster shot and queso. I happen to be a queso connosieur and this stuff was top-notch, as were the chips. My boyfriend got a burrito, and it also was of a higher order. There were other food options there besides Mexican food. We found it idyllic!

Had a fun time appetizers and cocktails! Great view of the beach. Good service! Exactly what we were looking for! Thank you down the beach we go! Andre & Michele

Great view, above average for prices, and the Mahi Mahi fish was tasteless only the batter was the flavor, service was excellent, bloody mary was alright, didn't drink it. Husband ordered a burrito for breakfast, was alright.

We enjoyed a few fishbowls of drinks while visiting a friend in PB over the Halloween weekend. Great place to hang out at and enjoy some beautiful San Diego weather while staring out to the Pacific.

Great place to hang out and spend the afternoon drinking. Gets a little crowded though. Typical bar food.

Sat outside then had to move inside because of some rain, still sat looking out over the ocean. Very entertaining, and always a lot going on. The view was awesome inside and outside , service staff was great, and the chorizo plate was really good. Great selection of beers too, just to wash down the breakfast!

We wandered in here after settling into our hotel just up the beach. It's a bit of a dive, but it was still late afternoon/early evening, so the crowd was thin and quiet. We found some stools right in front over looking the ocean. That view alone was worth the price of admission. Add on a few ice cold beers and some crab sliders and it's the perfect late lunch, San Diego style! We've been back since and the crowd is a bit young and can be loud...or I'm a bit old and stodgy. I remember those days...and as long as I have a drink in my hand I can tolerate a certain amount of silliness. This place is really fun. The location is incomparable! If it gets a little loud, then it's time to go for a walk on the beach. Problem solved.

Great cheap beer on tap, lovely mahi mahi tacos, nice surfboard décor and fabulous views of pacific beach.

So Good, I was solo and cycling the area in PB where I found this awesome local spot. I cane 2 days in a row so I could try different meals. The Staff super friendly, the food absolutely fantastic! Try the fresh ceviche or have your favorite breakfast!

Staff was very nice, place was earthy like a beach scene with surf boards and wood tables. Food was very good! We didn't stay but heard they do goldfish races late at night.

Pretty lively place on Pacific Beach, even at 2:00 PM on a Tuesday. Great view of he beach and the pub fare was above average. Friendly service as well. Lots of outdoor seating if you like sitting directly in the sun.

Ate outside upstairs on a beautiful February day. Food was good. Service was good. Recommend breakfast here and the view.

Visited this place late night on Taco Tuesday on a whim and we were in for a nice surprise! Spacious second story bar, lots of seating, $6 margs (that were tarte but still good) and the best $3 shrimp tacos ever! The best part was the DJ, he had the place poppin well into the night on Tuesday. He even obliged my friends request for Shania Twain, it was hilarious! This bar was SO much fun!

What a great spot to watch the sunset and have a good dinner. The views are stunning. Right off of the beach! The food is great and a fantastic selection of beers. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Nice upstairs bar with good food. Food is fast and fresh. Good size portions. Lots of tv's to watch games. Fun atmosphere. Tip: Inside windows have the best seating to enjoy the view.

We stopped to check out the beach and went in for drinks. The atmosphere was very inviting and the menu has so many great choices that we ended up staying for appetizers and lunch. The food was great as was the service.

Visited here at lunch and had a great shrimp and fish taco. Beer was cold and we could watch surfers out the windows.

You may have to ask to have the sticky stuff removed from the counter and you may have to walk over the paper towels strewn about the bathroom, but it's worth it to sit and enjoy the tremendous views of Pacific Beach and the Pacific Ocean!

This is a great pub! We came here on a Saturday for lunch. We chose to sit at the bar type seating that faces out towards the ocean. Open up the windows and it just can't get any better! Burger slides - 4 stars Ahi sliders - 4 stars We really liked this place and will definitely come here again.

Six friends went here for lunch. Food was average no complains. Can't beat the view which is the main reason to go there. Just watch out for beer prices. One of our friends got a Fat Tire beer and it was $9 which is really excessive ! Not all beers are that high but I would say their prices are higher than most of the other places in P.B.

This place is the best bar in PB! giant fishbowls of beer for $4. Second floor bar right off Grand ave. Place gets pretty crazy, always a good time

Great beach views. Good beer selection. Upstairs so if you have trouble w stairs not for you. Onion rings excellent. Burger like frozen patties.

I wanted a quick and decent meal on the beach and this place definitely exceeded those expectations. Nice bartender and customers. I'll be back if I'm in the neighborhood. No deal on prices but the draft beers seemed to be pretty reasonable given the location.

2nd trip here. Had breakfast with the family. Great service. Good food. Perfect view from upstairs outside. Olympics were on all of their large TVs. We will keep going back when we are in San Diego. Recommend!

Amazing Pacific ocean views (sit outside if you can), excellent margaritas and tacos/Mexican food, good people watching, and engaging servers make this a top choice for lunch in the sun with fiends or colleagues..

After watching an episode of DDD that featured this restaurant we decided to give it a try - Great Food! The place might look tacky, but it's nicely decorated and clean. We were instantly greeted upon entering and the rest of the service was very nice. We tried all three grilled tacos they offer; Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster. Lobster was good... Shrimp was better and Mahi Mahi was great! The tacos were nicely made with the right amount of toppings which allowed you to pick them up without having everything fall out or break through the soft taco shell. Get a seat up against the windows, facing the ocean - beautiful!

I spent the late afternoon wandering up and down the beach and walkway, soaking in the sun and enjoying the sights. I worked up a nice hunger and then picked this place "out of a hat"; well actually I was drawn by the "fish taco" sign. No real minuses - it's a bar on the beach!!! Fabulous beers - $4 Pacificos all day long in a monstrous wine goblet. I had the grilled mahi fish taco plate (with beans and rice) and they were fabulous! I recommend this place if you need a break from the sun, or if you want a first class seat to the sunset.

The rooftop is the perfect place to spend a Southern California afternoon. The bar itself is your typical dirty dive bar. It seems to attract a bit of a meat market crowd. The place is known for its 32 ounce frozen red bull vodkas.

We had a wonderful time here with a great view, very friendly helpful server, and wonderful tacos. I had the lobster tacos which were excellent and my husband tried the mahi mahi and the shrimp tacos, which were also good. We sat at the counter over looking the ocean. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and sits on Pacific Beach. Wonderful location, food, drinks, and view. Highly would recommend this place.

View from the 2nd floor watching the sunset with a brew is definitely the reason to be here, only way to improve is brews on the beach, sorry, not allowed. Food is mediocre, get only the fish and chips, or rings or burgers. Tacos looked ok, but several other people left theirs after a few bites. A young persons (under age 30) hangout for sure.

I love this place! Grab a seat at the bar facing the Pacific Ocean right before sunset and you are in for a real treat! This is a bar but the food is great and the service is amazing! They have the best DJ at night too!

The fish tacos were excellent and the view of the beach and all the activity was interesting to all.

Stopped by this beach bar for a couple drinks. Great location right on the beach by the pier. The parking was easy $5 valet for 3 hours. Quick service and awesome outside upper patio, where you can watch all the action. Very hard to find a bar on the beach in MB or PB, but this place takes care of that. Right off Mission Blvd, seek it out and enjoy.

Got to Shore Club every Friday and Saturday night during my stay and the place didn't disappoint at all, make sure you get here!

My husband and I came here for cocktails on a Thursday afternoon and had an OK experience. Decent selection of beers on tap, probably around 10 signature cocktails — I had the large Mango Tango sans bitters and couldn’t detect the tiniest bit of liquor in it, which is usual for a girl on an empty stomach who drinks maybe 5 times a year. They were out of the on-tap beer my husband wanted, but he was able to try a few canned beers he never had before. The location (near the pier) and the views overlooking the ocean were great ... I bet it would be beautiful at sunset. All in all, a decent (and probably one of the better) spot(s) if you’re in the area, but nothing I would actively seek out.

You can not ask for a better view. The beach is right outside the door. The food was really tasty. I ordered veggie tacos and they were some of the best I have ever had. Topped it off with a top shelf Margarita... Services was impeccable. It is family friendly. We saw many families eating breakfast. They too all seemed pleased. I will definitely be back!

You have to go see the goldfish races on Wednesday nights!!! It was so much fun. They also sell great food, play great music where you can get down on the dance-floor with great people. They have a massive outside area which is great to sit at and eat some god food, drink cocktails and watch the majestic sunset right on the beach. I had some amazing memories at this place and will definitely recommend you go there while in the Pacific Beach area. I love this place so much!!!

Had breakfast on the beach with a friend. The breakfast potatoes are amazing. I'd come back just for those!

Went here last Thursday afternoon. Had a great afternoon watching the sunset, good music and good food/drinks. Went back on Friday afternoon for some lunch and the door man was miserable, moody and wouldn't accept our UK driving licences as ID. I explained we spent several hours in there the day before when our ID was checked and accepted but he wouldn't budge - even making a point of specifically telling the bar man as loud as he could in front of other patrons not to serve us when we initially decided to just stay for food and soft drinks. After that, we decided to walk out. I wouldn't mind if we were borderline 21, I'd understand it, but we are a married couple, both nearly 36 and I'm pretty much fully grey! Sadly nowhere else in California (or the world generally!) has thought we looked under 21 for quite some time so funnily enough, on the rare occasion it has been requested, a UK driving licence has been sufficient. I wish I did look under 21. Really ruined our experience and memories of this place but on the plus side it meant we found some far better places like PB Alehouse, Baja beach cafe and PB Local where we've had some great afternoons and evenings - all highly recommended if you don't fancy carrying round your passport for a day on the beach!

Came here at night for some drinks on the beach in search of a chill vibe. We were out of our element. Had a club like atmosphere, packed with college age kids and loud music. My friend is a red bull freak, so she had to try the slushie but wasn't impressed. I'm sure it's a blast for a younger crowd, but we found a dive bar a couple spots down that had thirty somethings like us with a more laid back vibe. The views from the rooftop are great though. Just not my scene.

Amazing food, drinks and ambience. Definitely try the potatoes with feta cheese! The Red Bull Smoothies are delicious too!

Had a lovely time. Staff was truly friendly and very accommodating. Ordered the warm spinach salad ...

Had a great lunch overlooking Pacific Beach and all the shenanigans and tomfoolery and skimpiness it offers. Good comfort food great portion sizes.

Came for the food. Stayed for the beers. The place is right on the beach and fun to be at with friends. Always lots of people around. Job well done.

The Shore Club's best feature is it's location. In the heart of PB, right on the boardwalk. Fun atmosphere and great drinks.

Took the family here on New Years Eve for dinner. The club said family friendly dining. I was initially sceptical since it was a bar. However when we entered even the "bouncers" we joking with the kids. We had great service. The fish and chips were fantastic. Kids had corn dogs, clam chowder, and grilled cheese sandwich. They ate all their food and didn't complain which is a miracle in itself. We left before the new years party started, but it had a great atmosphere and. Great food.

The Shore Club was just a short walk from our motel. We loved it so much the first night that we went back the second night. Fun atmosphere, great ocean view and the best fish tacos I've EVER had! Highly recommend it if you want a casual laid back place to hang out.

Great location, average food, good service. Busy place but the wait was short and the food came quick.

My wife and i have a tradition of visiting PB Shore Club whenever we are in San Diego. It is mostly a younger crowd, but the fish tacos (Mahi Mahi) are some of the best i have ever had - and the view from the back seating overlooking the beach is amazing. This time, we had great service as usual. I wish i remembered the bartender’s name, because he was excellent. This was even during a Sunday afternoon, when the bar is filled with football fans. We will keep coming back!

This is a great location right on the north end of Mission Beach, indoor and outdoor seating-beautiful views of the ocean, lots of TVs inside, etc. Friendly staff, but just ok bar food, but really you are going here for the Red Bull and Vodka slushy-seems so simple but they are amazing. Wednesday nights are supposed to be a lot of fun with gold fish races, I'll need to check that it next time.

Came out for a few drinks with family and friends. Seems like a popular spot for a younger/middle age crowd. Music was good, and there was a decent amount of seating. Just seems like your average bar.

Went with a group of friends on a Saturday night because the lobster tacos came highly recommended. Dinner was very loud because the party was starting but perfect spot to eat, drink, and party on a Saturday night in San Diego. I had the lobster burrito, asked for black beans and rice but the put refried beans and rice inside and it was not good. My only complaint.

Visited on a Wednesday night and the place was packed, It's cheesy college party style but they embrace it and its a lot of fun. Despite being very busy I was always served quickly.

If you like a screaming drink rowdy college crowd, this is your place. Loud. Very, very, loud. It's too bad because it is a great location, but really takes away from the whole surrounding area.

How awful they treated my husband and I. We are both military which was a surprised to them when they saw our ID. So much for our service.

The service and food here was ok, but the prices were a bit high. The worst part was the lack of control by the staff on a Friday afternoon. Apparently several younger kids thought it would be funny to get really drunk and torment the people walking below on the Pacific Beach boardwalk. I enjoy having a good time, but I don't see the humor in putting a pair of underwear on the sidewalk and putting a few dollar bills sticking out to see if the local homeless or passer-bys would stoop low enough to pick up the money. If they did, this group of half dozen drunks would cheer and embarass the people below. I thought maybe this was a one time thing and the staff would stop the spoiled rich kids fun. But this went on for almost an hour....... Bottom line, I won't go near this place again. I should have known to expect trouble when I saw a Bouncer at the door for the Saturday lunch crowd.

Get there early in the day if you would like a table outside. Friends enjoyed their frozen red bull cocktails! Order when you see a waiter/waitress as they barely come around.

This second floor location overlooking sand and surf is priceless. Companion & I had a weekend breakfast here. The 3 egg omelet must have been made with miniature eggs. It was the smallest omelet I have ever seen. It tasted like rubber. I needed a magnifying glass to find the 2 cheeses in the center. Potatoes were greasy and lackluster. Even the slightly toasted english muffin was sad. Coffee was good but required several attempts to get a refill. Service at this spot is poor. We wouldn't go back.

Good beer, great food and wonderful views from this second floor bar. The service was great. Waitresses and waiters were very attentive.

Sitting outside, staring at the waves roll and eating good food with good friends is always a great memory. this place adds to the memories. I was there on Taco Tuesday and ate way too much but the food was great and fresh. Crowds roll in after seven but that made it all the more fun.

They were voted in for the best tacos in PB for a reason! They are amazing!! For only $5 you get a decent size piece of grilled Mahi Mahi on a flour or corn tortilla with pico de gallo, cilantro, cilantro sauce, cabbage and cheese....it is to die for! My mouth is watering as I am writing this review. You get to sit and have an awesome view of the ocean/boardwalk, drink a beer and eat the best taco ever....what more can ya ask for at lunch time?!

Security guards are on a power trip. They are charged for assault and soon going to court. Do not come here. Law enforcement and lawyers are now involved. They need to train on how to properly use levels of force. I am lucky I recorded everything on camera and the injuries that happened because of the over use of force.

We've been vacationing in the San Diego/Pacific Beach once or twice a year for the past 20 years, and we always eat at least one lunch at PB Shore Club. Why? 1. Casual beach vibe and wonderful view of the beach and ocean (while sipping on a beverage). 2. Excellent burger and club sandwich. 3. Full bar.

We ate here on two different occasion and got the same level of poor services. It is a younger crowd and it felt like the waitress spent more time helping the single young men. The first timer we ate there the food was good. The bacon wrapped shrimp were good. The next time we had the 5$ basket of wings and we ended up leaving the teriyaki ones (yes they tasted that bad). The sweet and sour one werent that bad.Drink specials were ok..there are better specials in the area. The advantage this place has is the view. It is amazing and you can people watch for hours. They have good bar seating next to the windows. Based on service alone, I will not be going back to this spot

The PB Shore Club I'd a great Bar with good service, excellent choice of drinks and a great atmosphere. The location is fantastic and the Nachos are well recommended by myself!!

This is a great spot near the Crystal Pier for very reasonably priced food and daily specials. My wife claimed the fish tacos were outstanding and I found the ribs to be extremely tasty and fall off the bone delicious. The view of the sunsets and after dusk was outstanding. Always try and get a window seat to watch the sun setting in the Pacific Ocean. Plenty of wide screen TV for viewing all sorts of sports, especially the Chargers.

Great full view beach spot. So happy they had my favorite beer - Lagunitas. The place was packed - our bartender Nikki was awesome

Fun atmosphere, decent food, great staff, great views! Our waitress was so super nice, as was a (I think a security guard) that turned on a heater for us. Food was pretty good, drinks were tasty, the view was great! Thank you!

We just had drinks here to watch the sunset. The food looked good. Very loud place so don't go if you want an intimate place.

Fish tacos are really nice - Try the salmon with BBQ sauce. Well prepared. Salads are nice too. It can get a little noisy and busy- for more of a quite setting go to Waterbar.

This place is kinda nasty and the bouncer is rude AF. He’s on a power trip and thinks he can boss people around.

All three of us had a wonderful lunch there. The waitress was outstanding. The ocean view was perfect. May look rugged from the outside but the food and staff were fabulous.

Loved it! The Bacado burrito is amazing. Hubby had the Mass Confusion for breakfast.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This place is all about the beachfront location and the food didn't disappoint. In our party of four, two decided to order off the breakfast menu and two chose the lunch menu. Everything was good...the Eggs Benedict probably better than the Denver Omelette. The burger was nice and juicy. The fish tacos were tasty. We sat outside and enjoyed the view and sunshine. Our server was friendly and efficient. A worthy stop for lunch and drinks in Pacific Beach.

Randomly stumbled onto this joint for lunch and a couple drinks. Great view directly across from the beach feels like your sitting on it. The fish and chips was delicious, reasonably priced, and a generous portion. The waitress was super friendly and the drinks/food were prompt! I'd return for lunch anytime...

This is the spot to watch the sunset! It's also the spot for breakfast! It WAS the Greenflash but that has new owners it's called Baja beach cafe. It's good but this is better! It's also got better lunch and dinner food. Not far and away but it's better. Go to both;but there Ahi poke stack appetizer is the best in PB!

Not a better place on the boardwalk for cocktails and lunch. The food is awesome and the drinks even better! Sit at the bar and watch the boardwalk walk by! freindly staff and well managed!Highly recommended for an afternoon of beach, drinks and snacks!

The doormen are at best unfriendly an have no clue how to treat people like human beings and are borderline racist The food is at best average and there are much better places in PB. Lots of US military in here too

Casual place and has a nice deck area. It was cool the evening we were there and couldn't get a table on deck with a heater, so we moved into the main bar area. It was very loud, way too loud for us but we were hungry and decided to stay. The food actually made up for the noise - excellent burger. So if you don't mind a lot of noise and the deck is full ( maybe it is full because of the noise !) I like to enjoy dinner conversation, so this is not the place for it. Good service, good price.

What I liked best about this place was that it is upstairs instead of being right down on the craziness of the boardwalk. It's super busy up there though and I could not believe my luck of getting a open window seat at lunchtime on a summer Saturday. My server was right on it in spite of the crowd and I had lobster & steak tacos and Tecate beers that were reasonably priced. The view of the water and pier was amazing. I came in again later with 4 family members and the outside deck was full as was the open window bar so we joined a big table inside with 3 guys. It's noisy and everyone is having a good time. I think it goes on like this from 8am to 2am. This is summertime in PB.

Best bar, restaurant and sports pub right along Pacific Beach. If in the area I always stop here for lunch or a cold beer. Large interior seating and a good size patio with a view of the beach. We stopped by for just an appetizer to share and a drink after our long walk at La Jolla and our next walk the length of PB and Mission Beach. It also appears a good place to watch games. Friendly staff.

These guys are a good choice if you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere on the boardwalk. Their breakfast is pretty good. Lunch too.

Ive never been here to eat but came at night once the music starts jamming and the beers start pouring and for the location, price, and music. Its a definite fun place to come. It is very casual and a little bit of a younger crowd but still fun.

The Poke (pronounced Pokey) was recommended by a friend and oh wow was it delicious! Many people in there eating this as a meal. I ordered a main meal which was the Mahi sandwich which was absolutely yummy but it was so big I could have shared it, I will know next time. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place and if you don't mind sharing tables with strangers then you need to stop in.

My friends recommended me to go there for the lobster tacos, so I did, and those were the best lobster tacos ever!!!!!!! I went there on Monday night, and it was packed in there. The location is perfect, right on the beach, parking might be a bit hard to find since it seems like a busy place around that area. It's right next to Joe's Crab Shack on the beach, and definitely recommend going here instead of the Crab shack. I also had fresh oysters and they were absolutely delicious!!! oh, and the price was cheap too. I think the lobster tacos was $5 for one... or maybe $7. either way, cheap to enjoy good lobster tacos!

This was our first stop for a beer and food. Great views and great service. Came back here to check out the club (it turns into a club by night) I'd venture to say its the best spot to hangout in PB during the night. Great music, good drinks, plenty of room. They also open up the patio which overlooks the ocean.

Loved the casual atmosphere and the beautiful view of the ocean as we had lunch. I have eaten fish tacos from many places and I must say these are the best I have ever had. So good that we returned a second day. Nice size drinks with drink specials each day. Reasonable prices as well. Totally different atmosphere at night-- people lined up at the door and more of a bar atmosphere.

It’s so bad I want to give it a zero but because I can’t I’m gonna give it a one. I was so upset with the employees and place.

We had a wedding weekend gathering here and it was a blast. Outstanding people watching, wide open windows looking across to the beach, funky and loud. The servers were amazing - cruising around checking on us regularly and remembering our names. Fish tacos were EXCELLENT, the chicken nachos plentiful but just OK. As the parents of the groom we definitely stood out, but that was the fun of it. Steep set of stairs to enter, which I imagine have seen a few tumbles over the years. Sloppy, crowded fun.

We arrived to a mild environment which is fine. Picnic tables down the middle of the restaurant. Our server was so unattentive that we saw the food runner and table bus boy more than her AND they were the ones running and getting us stuff. It's not like the place was hopping either. The food was average and lacked seasoning. Much better places along the boardwalk sad to say. Was disappointed in all the staff really...lack of team work.

This probably marks my 15th year of drinking at the Shore Club, and it has never disappointed me. Red bull slushies, double vodka sodas, mimosas or manmosas, this place has it all, and the food is amazing too!

This was my 1st visit to San Diego (friends 4th). We arrived close to noon on Saturday and seated immediately on the patio. Our server Ashley helped make the experience great. The food and drinks were perfect. The other guests were friendly as well. I had an awesome experience and will definitely return. Note: they also serve breakfast before 1pm which looked good also.

Great ocean view. Good food prices. Great roof top deck. As will all the bars as the night goes on the crowd gets younger.

This is a spot to bring your friends who are visiting and want to party. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great frozen Redbull vodka's. Great view of the water. It gets super crowded, if you do not care for crowds, go somewhere else.

This is a bar/restaurant that looks right out onto the beach from the second story. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They have benches that are right against their open windows that allow people to sit facing the water which was super nice! We were carded before entry, so people with smaller children might want to consider that. It wasn't too busy at 6pm on a Thursday in July, but we walked by on Friday and Saturday and it was packed! We had burgers that were $10-$15 so reasonably priced for the area. The drinks were expensive though! My margarita was $10!

Not fine dining but it is right on the beach with a nice eclectic feel. Food is awesome and the bloody marys are huge and tasty. Would absolutely recommend!

Would have been perfect had it not been for a table that complained IT WAS COLD....While the window sat open....You are from Wisconsin....We are from Tucson....What is wrong with that picture...The restaurant was great and staff was great too....:)

I had the mass confusion and it was probably the best biscuits and gravy EVER! Also you have to get the Red Bull slushie. My friend got the lobster tacos which were also amazing. Great place with affordable prices and incredible view of the ocean.

We really enjoy it for watching football with a great view and great food. The tortilla soup is really good and the sandwiches are really big and stuffed with goodness. There are enough TVs for everyone to watch their team. The service was 'good enough,' but the bartenders and servers weren't particularly friendly, but adequate.

Ugh, we will NEVER. Go back. Wanted a cocktail and a nibble. Ordered the nacho with chicken....maybe 3 - 1" squares of chicken and awful cheese SAUCE. They don't even give you real cheese. Hardly any topping. We tabled in front of the windows. Table was sticky. Bathrooms dirty. California health Department needs to pay them a visit.

I'm not a fan of redbull, but I had a fishbowl of the redbull slushy early one Sunday afternoon, and it led to quite the Sunday Funday! Followed by a few big beers. Good spot to meet friends and drink, not sure about the food but the dishes we saw go by didn't look all that appetizing. I'd go back on a beach bar crawl, but that's about it

Food: I guess here I am 50/50 as my husband really enjoyed his mahi tacos, while I thought my chicken/rice/veggie dish was just ok. For one, I asked twice for more sauce and only got it as we were nearing the end of our lunch break. Perhaps if I had had the extra sauce, my rice wouldn't have been so dry and I would have thought it was great. Add to that that we couldn't get refills on our drinks, and it took forever to get our cheque. We had literally given up our table for a large group that had come in and were actually standing for a good five minutes before the waitress finally appeared with it. We should have just walked out! I was so aggravated with our waitress and her poor service! Bottom line: we were not drinking, and we are middle-aged! Nearly everyone there was under 25 and drinking -- thus racking up bills larger than ours and looking pretty. We have experienced poor service on other occasions when we didn't drink -- just as though we're not going to tip well if we're sober! Well, our waitress should know that if she got a lousy tip, it's because she practically ignored us the entire time we were there!!!! I would NEVER go back! I would rather pay more at a more expensive place and get better service. Maybe if my husband and I had been younger and more attractive, that might have made up for our sobriety...who knows. All I know is that I would NOT recommend this place!

We stopped here for lunch and a few adult beverages while waiting for our hotel room. For me, there is nothing better than sitting right in front of the window, over looking the beach and feeling the ocean breeze - ahhh.... Unfortunately, that is about all there is to get excited about here. Tap beer is not very cold and it is served in big heavy goblets (?). The menu has a decent selection but the food we had was just average. The service was good, we just wasn't overly thrilled with the food, especially after some of the other meals we had later in the trip (and I hate warm beer)...Bottom line, there are better places to eat & drink, but probably not a better view.

We went here for a drink & a late lunch. The views are quite nice, but the rest... We ordered a few appetizers & nothing was too great. In fact, we had to send one dish back because it was so salty. Really this is a bar that happens to serve food. I would maybe go back for a drink, but not to eat.

I visited on a Wed night because I heard there were goldfish races. The races were definitely entertaining but the crowd was mostly college aged. Also the races don't start until around 10pm and by then the place was CROWDED. I suggest showing up a little earlier if you plan to eat. I had a lobster taco and a fish taco. Both were pretty good but nothing special (I live in south Texas, it's hard to impress me with a taco). The place was walking distance from my hotel, which was nice. If you are staying in Pacific Beach I say give the place a try.

if you don't mind the crowd of rowdy 20-somethings, it's worth it for the best mahi fish tacos in PB.

Called in for a late breakfast. Got a front row table outside offering great views of the ocean and beach. Busy place and obviously popular. Went for the crab cake benedict. Absolutely delicious! Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Waitress was very friendly too.

Great view! Tasty burger and onion rings! Lots of great drink choices. Only downfall is it was packed inside and outside was super chilly & windy. Brrr! Bring a sweater or coat!!

The food was great. We had lunch. the place is very noisy playing music so had to talk loudly to be heard at our table.

We (family of 4) went here for dinner and loved every minute of it. The decor was great with surf and skate boards everywhere. Very casual environment with a DJ spinning in the restaurant. Price was excellent too, especially since it was right on the beach!

Great view inside and outside. Noisy and fun. A little pricey but not for the beach. Try the tater tots.

We first walked by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was jam packed. Definitely a younger party crowd. We came back the next night and it was much quieter. They have great views from the patio, but other then that, it's just a basic place to get a drink.

What a great place. Jumping bar environnent. The service was really great. Moss the bar guy was wonderful. He heard and responded to everyones desires. He then made them happen. I was shocked how good the food was. The chips and salsa guacmole was huge and tasted teriffic. Everyone really enjoyed everything. Fun time was had by all.

My wife and I stumbled upon this place when we were walking back to our hotel from the beach and enjoyed it. Great view of the ocean from the open windows and the tacos we had were good. It was taco Tuesday and the asada and chicken tacos were $2.50, I think regularly they are $4.50 or $5. They had a guy singing and playing guitar for entertainment and he was very good, might be loud for some people if your close too the speakers so sit further away if you want to have a conversation. Give it a shot if your around Pacific Beach.

This is one place I must visit every trip. Best fish tacos on the beach.Used to be able to upload photos to the reviews, but I don't see where you can anymore. So you'll just have to trust me that they are awesome!!!

The PBSC is the definitive pick up joint for college kids. Has all the hallmarks of a very popular college frat party late on a Saturday night. Fun to experience as a throwback until you are stepped on, bumped into, and spilled drinks on. Drinks are surprisingly expensive if not the special(s). Great views of the beach.

Great place all year long -great for sunsets , Taco Tuesdays, and drinks, have outdoor heaters for chilly nights

Went on a Monday night when they had $5 baskets of wings. The wings were excellent. Get them with just seasoning and get the sauce on the side. The tacos were very good. The service was very good as well. Beautiful view of Pacific sunsets from all the tables in the restaurant.

more a bar then a restaurant. they can be very crowded as in standing room only on certain sports days. have seen as many as a few hundred there for a game. the food is good. what you would expect from a bar. great place to go week days to avoid the crowds.

We come here every time we are near SD. We love the views and the food! I get the fish tacos every time and my bf loves the tri tip wrap. MMMM and get a big glass of whatever the special is. Great atmosphere if you want to hang out with friends or watch the game or great spot for people watching too!

Great pit stop for an adult beverage and some typical bar food. Nothing spectacular, much younger crowds in the evening hours, so get your groove on if that's your thing. Otherwise you may want a more formal dinning establishment like Anthony's if you desire that higher quality and exceptional service. Family friendly during daylight hours, caution after that is wise. We enjoyed a lunch & dinner over a couple days stay @Ocean Park Inn just next door.

My friends and I stopped by on Saturday and had a great time. Saturday weather around 2:00pm was great and so was our service. We sat outside (of course) with a great view of the ocean (of course), ordered the chicken nachos (can feed 4), and a few beers. Later a few more of our friends arrived and then right before we had to leave, noticed the line for sitting outside for the view was long. People love this place and will wait in line (inside) no matter how long it takes to sit outside. We will be back for an amazing sunset for sure.

Amazing view of watching the sunset. It was like i was sitting on the beach. The tacos was delicious. The waitress was super friendly and the margarita was the bomb!!! 20 stars

Several members of our church youth group ended up here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, while we were on a retreat from AZ. The view of the beach and ocean is outstanding from the window front counter, but there's not a bad view in the house. I had the two-egg breakfast with bacon, and it was delicious and enough food for three people -- although I managed to eat two-thirds of it. Everyone else said their meal was delicious, as well, and the prices were very reasonable, especially for such a prime location. The service was great for our meal. However, the outstanding thing was when I asked the manager if we could have our devotional in the not-yet-open bar since some of our kids had been a little late getting around and were still waiting for their food. His reply was, "No problem, that's an easy request." I hadn't realized the bar would be open by the time we got everyone settled in, but we were still allowed to monopolize one of their large tables for the 15 to 20 minutes of our devotional.

Fun, loud, very crowded (it was a football Sunday) and caters to a 30 something crowd! Sat at the bar where service was efficient and friendly. Large property on upper level. Windows open to let ocean breeze stream through, both indoor and outdoor seating, many large screen TVs, and definitely has the feeling of a beach bar/restaurant. During our visit they were having some difficulty keeping the TVs on the correct channels. Several of the staff got involved and it was ultimately resolved.

Went here on a Tuesday night for a quick beer. Beer was excellent, and they have a wide variety of choices. To top it all off, though, the music was awesome. Craig and Marcella rocked the place for happy hour, playing many of the old time favorites. Beer, music and the beach: perfect combination!

I had 2 shrimp tacos. Fine but not delicious and pricy ($6 each) for 1.5 pieces of shrimp inside. Mango Tango tasty but took ages to get a coffee. Server pleasant but I won't go again as feels more like a night club with a deck. Nice view on deck but not many comfortable seats for older people outside

This is an ideal beach bar in the heart of PB. Locals and tourists mix for a great crowd and awesome people watching. The huge schooners of Pacifico are awesome and is a perfect place to get the vibe of this great area!

Pretty much a California menu of breakfasts, burgers, burritos, and salads, but the menus vary by day part with daily specials. Even offers special events and a panel of sports bar TVs to keep the customers coming back. Open early to late with a mix of mid-western visitors and surfer slacker types. Located on the upper floor off of Garnet and the beach promenade. The outdoor patio is a primo and lively place for taking in the sunset.

I've only been to PB Shore Club in the evening, and it does not vibe like a restaurant at all! Not a bad thing--but it is very bar-like and crowded with young people on long weekends. The views are great--any place by the window earns you an epic sunset. The Red Bull vodka slushies are a great deal. Very yummy. And the music has been on point each time I've been here.

This place is great if you love a beach bar with tremendous views, great tacos and great cocktails. Arrived and wakes up the stairs to find a bit of a dive looking bar (not a bad thing) headed out to the roof top deck and wow. Great views of PB and the sunset was amazing. Cocktails were great and beer selection was solid. Tacos were amazing and filled you up not to mention cheap in price. Service was great and as it got cooler the staff put the outdoor heaters on to keep guests warm. Can't wait to return.

Place gets packed in the summer but once you are in grab a table by the windows or on their outside patio deck and just drink while staring at the Pacific Ocean. Really good bar food selection as well.

A very warm welcome! Greeted by friendly staff and a very nice waitress. Food was outstanding! People around me were having a good time and enjoying the outdoor screening of various Sunday morning football games. Seemed to be a popular meeting spot for various groups of people of all ages.

We stopped in the Pacific Beach Shore Club for lunch while shopping in Pacific Beach. The second floor location affords you a great view of the beach and water. The food is very good pub style food with large portions. The prices are a little high but no so considering the location.

We only had a few drinks here, so I cannot speak to the quality of food. But, the view is great and they have an outdoor patio to enjoy the California weather! The place definitely has a bit of a frat feel, but all in all it is a good casual spot to enjoy some beers and ocean views!

Good beer, good music, cool people... Don't miss sunset throw the window of Shore Club. Beer, sunset and the ocean. What else! ?

wonderful ocean views, spectacular sunsets, great drinks, good security, noisy and crowded on the weekend.

Walking into the PB Shore Club, you immediately feel the vibes of San Diego that you'd hope for at a beachside restaurant. From any table you get a great view of the beach. We came with two small children for lunch and it was a good atmosphere for kids, but it seems like at night it's more of a bar crowd. Everything we ordered was very good reasonable priced. We'll definitely be back again!
On the BEACH with 2nd floor view
Great beers and great food with outdoor seating overlooking the boardwalk and beach. I had the Ceviche that came with home made chips. Guac was spot on. others in our group had the buffalo wings which were cooked correctly crispy with just the right amount of sauce.
