This is a very good Asian restaurant in downtown Atlanta not far from the Georgia Dome and the Congress Center. The facility is quite nice as it features a lovely ambiance. The menu has some pan-Asian options that are very tempting. I shared a sushi appetizer with my colleagues and then had a chicken curry for my main. Both were quite good. The service was more than competent and the prices were commensurate with what you would expect for a place like this. If you are in downtown Atlanta and would like a tasty Asian meal, this is a good bet.

Hate to give a poor review but, I have no choice. If you have any experience with sushi or Japanese food do NOT patronize this restaurant. I was at a conference at the Marriot Marquee just down Peachtree Center Avenue. Meal was unapologetically bland and the rice subpar! The only thing good was the waiter service which was polite and accommodating! There are so many great places in Atlanta for a meal! Save your money for a good place.

Great sushi and curry dishes. Fast service. Delicious drinks. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

Husband and I loved this place. We only went for happy hour- they have special cocktails and wine for $5. There were also special prices for some appetizers. The first night we had drinks which had plenty of alcohol and the spring rolls. The spring rolls were very good and the dipping sauce was some of the best I have ever had. We enjoyed this place so much that we went the next night and had the kobe beef pizza which was okay and the Mongolian beef soft taco which was wonderful and was enough for both of us. Service is attentive without being annoying. We will go back the next time we are in Atlanta

Sat at the sushi bar. Nice atmosphere, good prompt service. Sushi was good, nothing above average but a good solid choice. Pricing is good for the area.

Great food and the service was superior. Our server was very pleasant and quick. The outside patio is great. The food was very quality.

Had dinner here with friends. Sushi was incredible (enter the dragon). We shared seaweed salad, edamame and roasted Brussels sprouts. Very good dinner. Would return.

We came here for a late dinner. Service was slow. We had to wait a bit (almost to the point where we thought they didn't know we were out on the patio), this included even once we'd ordered. Our waiter was a bit rough around the edges and a touch unprofessional in my opinion. The sushi was average, the price was typical of a big city sushi bistro, which I thought was a bit much given the par quality. Salmon sashimi was a little oily to what I'm accustomed to, but had good flavor. I would probably revisit this place for lunch or for after dinner drinks and appetizers, but probably not on the dinner menu.

We had a reservation for 4, after waiting 45 minutes- with a rude man in the line yelling at everyone- we were seated. Waiter brought menus and took drink orders but then it took another 45 minutes to get drinks. We ordered and waited- to the point of asking when our food would arrive because it was late and we were past the point of hungry. The food was delicious when it arrived. But, they shouldn’t take reservations if they are not going to be able to seat you, in a timely manner.

Arriving in very late afternoon in Atlanta after a cross-continent flight, I asked the concierge for a recommendation for dinner close by that a solo diner would be comfortable going to and walking back from. The recommendation for Pacific Rim Bistro, about a block and a half away, was perfect! Because it was just the start of dinner time really, there was no problem with getting a table (I decided to sit inside rather than outside), and the server was attentive and helpful, understanding when I said I thought a high protein dinner would help me sleep as I ordered the steak with lo mein and asparagus. When the plate was delivered, the items were artfully arranged on the plate – but I happily disturbed the art to eat the cooked but crisp asparagus (yay, al dente vegetables!) and steak prepared just as ordered, medium rare. The lo mein was a tasty side, too, a good nod to the predominantly Asian influence on the menu and a preferable side, to me, to potatoes. All was quite easy to eat with chopsticks, which I had requested, and eating with chopsticks means that you take smaller bites and enjoy your meal longer—and this was a meal deserving to be appreciated: good flavors, cooked well. Since I was on a business trip and therefore felt like a splurge, I went for a dessert that sounded interesting and decadent: Volcano Ice Cream. It was actually fried ice cream, served atop a bed of mango-and-chocolate sauce with additional chocolate drizzle over the ice cream balls. The server explained that people didn’t seem to know what fried ice cream was when they initially put it on the menu, so they renamed it “volcano” (for the oozing out of the ice cream) and people began ordering it. Whatevs—it was yummy as you want dessert to be when you’re indulging. The elegantly appointed room was beginning to fill up when I left, but I left happy, quite satisfied with the service and the food at Pacific Rim Bistro.

I ordered the pad Thai one night and the scallops were over cooked. The next day I had the chicken curry and it was ok but not worth 4 or 5 stars.

Delicious sushi prepared quickly yet carefully. Delicious flavor. Especially the tempura shrimp. I had the sumo roll and the lemon roll. My friend had the lobster poboy and Philadelphia rolls.

Myself and a group of friends went there for dinner last week. The place was very busy which is a good sign. Thankfully, we had booked and our table was ready for us. It started off badly in that only a few of our starters arrived. Then when the waiter was reminded another batch arrived and when he was reminded for the second time, the final group of starters arrived. At this stage some of our group were already tucking into their main courses before their starters arrived. An apology from the waiter would have been good, but it didn't happen. However, despite this lack of order the food was good. I would go back again and hopefully the place would not be so busy next time.

Have eaten here several times. Really good variety of sushi rolls and entrees. Nice outside area. Will be back.

Saturday evening, four of us with reservations. First seating was right next to the waiter station when there were maybe 8 tables full in the restaurant. Asked to be moved to another table and we were. Waiter took our orders without writing them down which always concerns me as I've had wrong dishes brought. I ordered the pecan crusted trout, which was dry and not full of flavor, which came with bok Choy and cilantro rice dull in flavor and I asked for soy sauce to add to the trout for flavor cost of $26, My daughter ordered pad Thai and also requested soy to enhance the flavor. Her boyfriend ordered the Korean ribs with garlic mash potatoes, and they came with the spinach mash potatoes that are green. I asked the woman manager about the mix up of spinach mash potatoes and garlic mash potatoes, and she dismissed me and said no, the spinach mash potatoes were the right ones. Here is the menu: korean beef short rib$26.00 Very frustrating. Braised Korean-style with garlic and sweet soy. served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables The only one who liked their dish was my husband who had the spicy seven flavored beef. It was very expensive and the atmosphere was no background music so we could here the kitchen clanking dishes together like a diner cleaning up. If the food was good, I'd overlook the diner sounds. I unfortunately cannot recommend Pacific Rim.

I ate dinner here 3 nights while in downtown Atlanta. Their sushi, sashimi, and seafood are all top notch, and the service is great. Excellent seaweed salad, too. It’s wonderful to find a restaurant like this when you travel. Try the Japanese ceviche.

Dinner alone while at conference. Promptly seated & Julie was attentive. Beautiful & tasty Blood Orange Cosmo martini. Owner reviewed menu with me. The shrimp & scallops with spinach noodles were tasty. Shrimp were over cooked & tough but scallops were perfect. Nice, relaxing atmosphere within walking distance of several hotels.

Generally good but with generic decor. The sushi was good and plentiful but I found it lacking in significant flavoring. There was one dish that came with jalapeños on each slice that was very spice and I enjoyed that but in general I'd consider this a 3-of-5 on the star scale. If you're staying in downtown Atlanta it is very convenient to the Marriott and Hyatt among others and reliable for decent food. Looks nice for groups and also has a comfortable patio.

If you are craving Asian food, this restaurant is a decent choice. My Thai Brussels Sprouts and vegetables with tofu entree were very nice. My server seemed to have a hard time hearing and got my drink slightly wrong, and I also wish he’d listened to my request for 5 star spice level. Be aware that glassware doesn’t appear entirely clean. You don’t really need a reservation to this restaurant — it was very quiet.

We had had sushi the evening before, so we wanted something different. My Thai spare ribs were very good , and the Thai mussels on the special menu to die for. The Thai steamed dumplings were so good my wife went back the next day for some more for lunch. They gave me some miso soup which was as good as I’ve had. They had many Japanese clients, a good sign. The owner also has a Chinese restaurant nearby named Hsu which I’d love to try.

I recently had a business lunch here and the food was fabulous! I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad and it was just superb. Unfortunately I couldn't give this restaurant more than three stars, first because the staff was quite inattentive. I had to almost beg for a second glass of water. Secondly, it was incredibly noisy in the restaurant and that took away from our overall experience. I will go back and give it another try, as I would love to try some of the other items on the menu.

Downtown location, close to major hotels. Clean, with outside eating area, nice bar and sushi bar near the middle of the restaurant. Started with a delicious version of their chicken coconut soup, fresh and hot. Ordered a Wakame "seaweed" salad, so good and flavorful. Main course was a Combo Special with an extra Salmon Skin Hand Roll. It was plenty of food for two and absolutely delicious!!!

In town for a conference and headed to Pacific Rim since it was close to the hotel and I love Asian food. Ate solo at the bar but the place is contemporary and clean. Staff were friendly when they greeted me and the bartender was fabulous! Friendly and talkative but not too much. Prices seemed to be mid-range compared to the rest of Atlanta. I ate the grilled shrimp with vegetables entree which was delicious. It had a subtle taste and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! A small salad came on the side which was a nice surprise and provided a bit of crunch to the softer food. Ironically the bottle of hot sake was cheap $6 compared to other drinks. Overall Pacific Rim was a great restaurant and I plan on going back tomorrow for the happy hour.

One of our go to places in Atlanta. The food is excellent and the service can't be beat. Excellent place to have a great dinner and wind down after a long day. I'll be back to enjoy another meal here the next time I'm in town.

I've eaten here many times and the food and service are great. It's probably the healthiest place to have dinner downtown.

Terrific dinner with a group. We ordered half the menu and it was all incredible. I am a little late writing this so I cannot exactly remember names of the dishes, other than the mussels, but I can recommend that it is hard to go wrong. Service was a little mixed up but quick.

Our server was incredibly rude and abrupt with us, harassing us to get out fast even though we were some of the only people in there. The food was decent but definitely not worth the ridiculous prices.

I didn't expect great seafood in Atlanta. No, I though Altanta was a bit far from the big lakes and blue oceans. Don't tell that to the customers here, who (at least in two visits by me and my colleagues) enjoyed terrific cerviche, seabass, and sushi (wow--triple alliteration). On the other hand, the service is quirky. Sometimes the waitstaff seems a bit distracted; sometimes they are right on point. 5 stars for food; 3 for service. I'd come back. Serviche, sushi, seabass--say it three times fast!

It was a little tight for having a business dinner with more than two people but the food was great and the service excellent.

Met an old colleague here while at a conference. The food selection and preparation was good and the appetizers were especially good. The service was the only drawback -- had to ask for more water, drinks, etc. Hard to get their attention but the were very busy. Overall, the food was worth the trip and I would return.

We were having dinner in this Restaurant in Atlanta The food was great. Specially the Sushi And seawet salade. But the best impression I got on the restaurant was Michelle. She was not our waiter but our kid was not feeling well And as soon as she realized about it, she recomended us And helped us bringing a hot soup for him, which really helped him a lot. In a restaurant food is important but nowadays you can find many restaurants were food is good, but what makes the diference are the staff, the people working there, and believe it, in this restaurant the diference is definitly Michelle!!! Congratulations to the restaurant' s owner. Beside the great food, Michelle is even better.Your are lucky to have her as a waiter. We will be back forsure And Hopefully Michelle will be our waiter.

Two couples looking for an 8:45 pm dinner, having just arrived for a convention at Marriott marquis. Two blocks away, we were away at the door by Big Kahuna because they had stopped serving dinner--the doors were locked but numerous parties inside. Too bad big kahuna--we went right across the sidewalk and racked up a nice dinner bill at Pacific Rim. The sushi was good, loved the Thai steamed dumplings, nice salad but unimpressive. Grilled fish was excellent. Wide menu with heavy Asian influence, but even a red meat eater can find a steak. Lots of nice cooked seafood options. Service a little choppy at first, but overall a very good dinner, nicely accomodated at a later hour.

I'm a big fan of sushi and this was a great spot in downtown Atlanta that is a 30 second walk from the Marriott Marquis. The concierge hooked us up with a card that got us a glass of free house wine, which was nice but wine was mediocre at best (can't really complain since it was free). My colleague and I ordered 5 rolls and appetizers - way too much food even for 2 guys! We could have skipped the apps. I highly recommend the Rainbow Roll - awesome and great flavor!

Got in to the hotel down the street after traveling all day without much food. I needed a late afternoon snack before a late dinner meeting later that night. Wandered down around 4pm and found out they are closed every day from 2:30 to 5pm. Back to the hotel, hang out, then back to Pacific Rim, since at that point I was craving sushi and nothing else would do. Unfortunately, my craving was barely satiated. The sushi was very mediocre, and unfortunately over-priced. A very thin 8-pc "special" roll called the "Out of Control Roll" (Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Cucumber and Eel on Top) was $14.00. I can get way better rolls at my small town middle of nowhere sushi bar for half that price and it's twice as big, and blows the taste and flavor of this one in Atlanta away. There was very little fish in the middle, and it was cut really thin. The flavor just didn't "explode" in my mouth, and I found myself dipping it into the wasabi/soy sauce mix. Otherwise it was very ho-hum. The couple pieces of Maguro sushi I ordered seemed pretty fresh. Bottom line is that the "specialty rolls" aren't that special, and are way overpriced. -pacific rim bistro out of control roll, maguro. Specialty rolls. Very $$$. Not much fish.

This is a great restaurant. The food was really good and the service was great. We all had different dishes and they were great. The seven flavor beef was awesome. Large menu and reasonable prices.

Great food, I can recommend the chicken coconut soup and curry chicken dish. I ate at the bar and the service was excellent as was the food. Friendly staff. I would definitely return on my next trip to Atlanta!

Traveling solo on business I look for a place that's comfortable to grab a bite. The 7 Spice Beef fit the bill on the taste front. Being there solo, perfectly comfortable (I was there early). OK, I was told there was an upcharge for brown rice... but $3.50... totally out of line.

Our dinner was good, but when I got the check I was taken aback. A little too much nickel and diming. Too many sushi places in Atlanta are of equal quality and not such a shock to your wallet.

I have been to the downtown area of Atlanta a few times but never found this restaurant tucked in the neighborhood among the big hotels. What a find! Delicious eclectic asian food including a full sushi menu with some very creative rolls, and an additional full menu of fresh fish, seafood, meat and vegetarian offerings, reasonably priced. Nice list of wines by the glass, great service where the servers and manager all check on customer satisfaction during the meal. We had sushi, shrimp and scallops, and steak. All were well prepared and very tasty. Bar scene has a nice buzz of locals in the early evening. We will be back; this is a great place for lunch or dinner if you are the hotels in the downtown core.

Was very close to my hotel and as a single business traveler it looked like a good option. The service was great the sushi was not more than nice the fish were good small the rice to stuffed. It is a nice place good vibes. Don't order the dragon soup it is egg soup with two Suhami that were hard and tasteless.

7 of us went to have lunch between business conference sessions. Accommodating, good choices, good value and delicious food. Would visit again. Lots of veggie choices on the menu for vegans and vegetarians

Loved this restaurant. Open airy atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating. Food was fresh, prepared and presented nicely. Service was fast and they were so nice even accommodating our multiple check request to meet our business needs. Don't miss this one if you like the menu.

This place has an interesting menu. Nice ambience with good service. The mango creme brule' was very good. They also have a nice outdoor sitting area.

we had no idea what we were about to experience when we walked in for a late dinner. After a day of traveling, a colleague and I just wanted something nearby and not fast food. What a treat! Our server was very patient and helpful with 2 weary but hungry travelers. He steered us in the right direction. Excellent! We didn't have any, but the sushi was beautiful. If I'm back in the area, I will give that a try. The menu will please anyone in a group with its fusion influence. the only drawback was the smoking area that you have to walk by to get to your table.

Enjoyed my dinner here when recently in Atlanta. The food was decent and moderately priced (expensive, but large portions). The service left some things to be desired, though. Simple tasks like a water refill, ordering, or paying the bill were more complicated than necessary.

On a very busy night we went to this restaurant, and despite a full house we were seated quickly and the staff apologized for not being able to seat us quicker. Did not have reservations. As we waited people coming out all commented on how excellent the food was and it was worth the wait - they were right. We started with coconut shrimp. The shrimps were huge and the sauce with them was an excellent pairing. We had the filet and lobster which we shared. The price was reasonable, especially after we saw and tasted what we received. The lobster came with a crab coating and two filets we could cut with a fork. We raved about this meal to all our friends. It was scrumptious. For dessert we had a deep fried cheesecake recommended by the waiter. It was very good and a wonderful way to end our meal.

We were staying at the Hyatt which is pretty much next door, so we stopped in for a sushi lunch. We both ordered $15 lunch combos, which included two rolls (California and spicy tuna), nigiri (variety), and miso soup. Being a combo, we figured the rolls would be a few pieces, but they were full rolls. We actually probably could have shared a single combo, but luckily our hotel room had a fridge so none went to waste. The miso soup was lovely, and I found my rolls and nigiri to both be delicious. It wasn't on par with the best sushi I've ever had (the bar is pretty high), but it was certainly well-made and delicious, and I appreciated that the restaurant served low sodium soy sauce, including the to-go packets I took for the hotel room. Service was speedy and attentive. We will very likely visit again on our next Atlanta trip.

The menu had a nice selection - it was hard to choose - the cerviche was tasty and both the seafood (my wife) and meat (me) was well cooked. Good wine and drink selection. The only quibble was the atmosphere --- it was pretty empty for a Friday night and lacked energy so not great for couples --- better suited for a larger crowd (with friends).

Stopped in for a quick meal. The steamed dumplings were good but not special. The kamikaze roll, tho, was amazing. So were the other two special rolls we ordered. Reasonable prices too.

Good downtown sushi spot. Spicy scallop hand roll was excellent. Not the quietest but not too loud at sushi bar

This place was a big surprise. The food here was delicious and very good value for money. All came out very quick and very friendly staff.

The space is attractive, but the food was undistinguished. We were eating lunch, and it may indeed be that the food offered at dinner may be better. But the food at lunch was taken off the steam table, since speed seems more important than quality.

I had the Korean beef short rib bento box. It was amazingly flavorful! I tasted the soup, which was very good, but moved on to the spring roll and salad with ginger dressing. The beef had a wonderful broth, and was so tender. I recommend this meal to anyone. And I saw lots of plates of sushi coming to nearby tables which also looked good. Walkable from nearby hotels.

Food was delicious & well sized portions. Our waiter was great & very friendly but the guy seating people had no charm & was a bit rude.

Atlanta. Do you know what a gem you have here? Easily in the top five sushi places I’ve been to. Including San Fran and west coast as well as Morimoto’s finest. This place rocks!! Beat crab Rangoon I’ve had anywhere. The Ocean’s Three is an incredible roll with the right amount of fishiness. Drinks were perfect and the service was beyond amazing. Eli is a gem and just amazing. Such a perfect dinner.

In a nearly empty restaurant, we waited almost an hour between the appetizers and the main dish. This is inexcusable. We were told our dinner was "taken care of" due to the extended wait, however, our bill didn't reflect anything other than a comped dessert for a toddler and the birthday girl. The sushi rolls were sloppy, there is no reason to return and give it a second chance.

The atmosphere is great and so is the food. I was here for a business lunch with my team. Everyone enjoyed the food. the service is quick with very courteous staff.

Wow, great sushi! Loved Shannon at bar, thoughtful and helpful with excellent recommendations and perfect service! Definitely here again!

Myself and 2 others went there recently. When the salad came a couple of the tomatoes had mold, it was obvious which tells me the don't have proper quality control and keep things too long. We asked how much it would cost to switch to brown rice and the waiter said $1 each. When we got the bill it was $3.50 each. When we asked about this he said we mis-understood. I ordered the crusted trout. First of all I have doubts it was actually trout. I eat a lot of fish and know what the taste is suppose to be. This fish was soooo bland and over cooked. I tried adding their orange sauce, lemon, salt and finally soy sauce BUT it was just terrible. The rice was dry and bland as well.

Located about a block away and on the same side as Marriott Marquis, this place was the highlight of a rainy day spent at conferences in Atlanta. The super nice hostess and bartender helped me to the bar (I was lugging one of those rolling suitcases, purse, etc. think: bag lady) and made sure that I received my free glass of house wine. (Note: I am no wine expert and rarely drink, but to my novice tongue, the free glass of red wine was quite tasty.) We were off to a good start and I hadn't even ordered yet. Pressed for time, I decided on the "box lunch". No, no...not the squished pb&j and browned apples of old, but the Pacific Rim version that came with soup, salad, mini egg rolls and an entree with a side of rice. For starters, the soup was crazy good. I didn't know that broth and seaweed could be so scrumptious. Hot and savory, I even ate the little teeny squares of tofu. They were delicious. As for the salad, they used some kind of ginger dressing and let me tell you...I kind of wanted to lick the container. Yes, I know that's gross and no, I did not. I was at a conference, remember??? Anywho, I was pretty comfortable after eating the soup and salad, and really could have stopped there, but...as the first two were such a hit, I figured I would just "sample" the rest. I'm not going to lie, the egg rolls looked really weird and had some kind of sauce on them. Since they disappeared before my eyes, I assume they were good. As for the Malaysian Curry chicken, it was okay. I'm partial to Indian/Pakistani curries, but at least it doesn't burn the taste buds off your tongue. Overall, the atmosphere was welcoming, staff friendly and appetizers delightful. If you're staying at one of the local hotels, ask for a free glass of wine card and for under $15, your wallet will be delighted as well.

From management to the waiter to the food runner, everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. Casual dining and nice atmosphere. Nigiri portions were generous. Pork dumplings were amazing. Beer was kind of warm and over priced.

8 of us were in town for a convention. I was so happy to get a reservation and it was AMAZING! Great food, excellent service, beautiful setting. Don’t miss this downtown gem.

I passed Pacific Rim Bistro for years thinking it was a tourist-themed restaurant for Marriott. It wasn't until our Team Lead selected the Bistro for our Lunch/Meeting. Parking wasn't bad at all, the restaurant validates your parking ticket (I can't remember the limit of the validation, so ask the host/hostess upon validation), and the lunch menu mirrored the dinner menu; just served in smaller portions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our party of 10-12 diners; we sat in a semi-private area of the Bistro so that our meeting wouldn't disturb the other customers. The sushi was fresh, and when one of us mistakenly ordered the wrong item, the staff quickly exchanged it with no questions asked and minimal waiting time for the order. Therefore, we were able to eat at relatively the same time. I will definitely go back either solo or with my family!

There are a lot of good reviews here on this website, so perhaps you should take these comments with a grain of salt. Came here on a weekend evening with friends, we ordered three dishes: the chicken curry, the pad thai, and a tofu/vegetable stir-fry. The food was mediocre all around, and when two of us explained to the waiter that the tofu was spoiled the manager said that the tofu is just like that, that the sauce itself was meant to be sour. To their credit, the staff did replace the tofu/vegetable dish with a plain vegetable stir-fry, but it was inappropriate for the manager to tell us that the tofu was fine and the dish was meant to be like that. Between the two of us we have probably been eating tofu for over 80 years combined (and cooking tofu for 50 years combined!). Rotten tofu is rotten tofu!

We had the most awesome meal at Pacific Rim tonight! I had the Bangkok Chicken and my husband had Teriyaki Beef and both were very good but the chicken was by far the best. It had the best glaze and was juicy and tender and came with perfectly cooked tempura avocado, squash and zucchini. The Fuji apple for dessert was unbelievable, it was sweet, tart and salty in all the right proportions. I don't recommend the ginger martini unless you are a die hard ginger fan but everything else was amazing and very well priced.

My colleagues and I were in the mood for Asian cuisine and we found this gem while heading back to the hotel in an Uber. We decided to each order a sushi roll and share. I ordered the volcano roll and the other two ladies ordered the kamikaze and the dynamite. We also ordered the edamame appetizer since we were quite hungry. Good thing we did since the sushi took a long time to arrive. The waiter did notice this situation and offered us miso soup since the kitchen was behind. We took him up on it and it was very good. We enjoyed all of the sushi rolls and I especially liked the spicy volcano one.

Visited after evening of conference attendance. Had a reservation; no wait. Ordered coconut chicken soup, rainbow roll sushi (tuna, salmon, and snapper). Others in our party ordered the spider roll and California rolls. Food was very good but the service good improve. Slow to refill drinks, etc..

We were staying next door at the Marriott and coordinated a 22 person lunch. This restaurant did an amazing job. I changed the number of people many times and they were very accommodating. I told them we only had two hours and everyone ordered off the menu and they got us in and out in time. The service was great (hard to do for so many people) and the food came out quickly, at the same time, and everyone said it was delicious. I highly recommend!

We went to this restaurant because we couldn't get in anywhere else we tried but we were very happy we did - it was Excellent! Service was great and so was the food and drinks. We would definitely return.

Great food, service. Fair price. Nice outdoor, street side dining area. Very convenient if you are staying in the downtown Marriott, or Hilton.

It was a busy night, and while we waited for some time to give them our names, the wait after that wasn't long. We all enjoyed our food and the service was pleasant. Portions weren't huge - I ate all of my Pad Thai, and I usually have leftovers. Overall, we'd come back.

At a convention on my own looking for somewhere quiet to eat with single tables. Walked up and down Peachtree Street in the centre of downtown without much luck and turned to the side streets. Came across Pacific Rim Bistro but was put off by the signs advertising Sushi. Being desperate I walked in and had a very good meal. I chose Teryaki Beef but an very good looking grilled salmon was brought out first. This was quickly changed to what I ordered.

Pleasantly surprised with both the service and food. We went last minute before a convention meeting and enjoyed the end of Happy Hour with some great sushi rolls, fried rice, and edamame. The raspberry-lemonade martini was pretty good also.

We had an alumni reception (approx 45 people) at Pacific Rim Bistro last night. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food was very good with a beautiful presentation. They created a specialty cocktail too.

Our group of coworkers went here one evening. My drink which is on the menu took about 20 minutes to arrive. My coworker across the table received the wrong drink. When it was brought up to the server the response was we didn't have the ingredients. When he took it up to the manager the response was worse. He lost his appetite which wasn't bad because my lamb stew was average.

We had a great time at this bistro. The food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very clean.

Pacific Rim was wonderful. The food & ambiance were both excellent. We had a great anniversary dinner!

Once the food came out it tasted really good. The problem was it took forever and the place was not crowded. The staff was completely indifferent that we were there. The manager came over bc he could tell we were losing patience and the pace only slightly quickened. I will not be back the next time I visit Atlanta.

The environment is friendly and clean. The staff is attentive and friendly. Service is prompt and amicable. The food is good and fresh. The selection is not expansive but contains the necessities. It is not a sushi bar. It is not traditional. It is a bistro and has a broad variety of other non-sushi choices. I would eat there again without reservation. I simply know now that it is not a sushi bar.

We sat outside in an igloo tent. The Cocktails, Food and service was par excellence. Would definitely go back again soon

The perfect location by the Mart. Great service and even better sushi. Just a few steps away from our hotel, it was very convenient.

Very good sushi at this downtown location. Large and clean with friendly and fast service. Absolutely not crowded. Unlike Manhattan which is bustling 24/7, downtown Atlanta on the weekend seems to be quite deserted with limited restaurant options. Try Pacific Rim!

A modern restaurant, noisy, and over crowded. The menu is Asian, either Sushi or more traditional. We had a large assortment of Sushi and Maki rolls. Signature rolls were excellent, however pricey for sushi. Service was mediocre at best. Too pricy for the experience

Pacific Rim Bistro, like several other Atlanta downtown restaurants, features an inside/outside casual feel. Tables are conveniently inside or outside with an open air feeling. As I dined alone I sat at te bar. The steamed ussel appetizer was practically a meal in itself. It was lightly flavored with lemongrass shoots leaving the flavor of the mussels to stand out. The dipping sauce was too overpowering; nevertheless, I fully enjoyed them on their own. For my second course I ordered fried oysters. As they arrived, a man across from me at the bar noticed my orders and ntroduced himself as Dennis to me. As a regular customer at Pacific Rim Bistro, he told me that the mussels and oysters were two of his favorites. I replied that the mussels were really good but that the oysters were some of the best I had ever eaten. He seemed pleased that this visitor (me) was taking such a delight in a restaurant he really likes. I will go back tomorrow in this short visit to Atlanta.

Racist. They wrote in the tips for each of our meals, did the math and only left blank the signature blank for us (I scratched it off and gave them $0 in tip). Keep in mind, my party of 5 were black professions (law school, medical school, PA school, nursing school, and pharmacy school). We were the only black people in the restaurant. Importantly, there was no advanced notice given of an added gratuity--especially given how informally written the gratuity was. As we left, I politely told them that writing in the tip came off as disrespectful. While I talked to the lady that seemed to be the manager, other older workers there started giving us the middle finger and talking underneath their breathes. We are professionals so we didn't respond to their immaturity. The manager apologized to us but said that was their policy (note: we’ve eaten their before and they have never before written in our tips). Then the manager said she'd validate our parking tickets (before we entered the restaurants we asked if they validated them and they said yes anyway). However, she gave us *expired* parking validation stamps, so we had to pay for parking ourselves. The manager gave us her personal email and card promising to give us free food/drinks next time. However, after this experience, we will never go to the Pacific Rim Bistro on Peachtree Center Avenue again.

I went with my brother and his girlfriend on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead. Good for us because it didn't take long to get the food. The environment is wonderful and it is a very large restaurant. You can get your parking validated too.

Ordered through Grubhub, live in SE Atlanta, so not a lot of delivery options. Food came very quickly, was still hot, and was very good. Think delivery cost $3.00. Will order again.

We were staying at a nearby downtown hotel and they recommended this restaurant for a nice lunch. Food and service was excellent. Huge selection. Large dining room. Outside seating was also available.

We have eaten here many times when in Atlanta and have always had a fantastic dinner, whether it be a romantic evening for the two of us, a quick bite at the sushi bar or a family gathering. On our last visit, we were once again impressed by the food and the service. It is expensive, but that is Atlanta. Because we were dining late, we had checked their web-page which listed the closing time as 10 PM. While we were dining, an individual came from the kitchen area and advised the staff that the restaurant was closing. This was well before the 10 PM published time. From that point forward, we felt rushed to finish our dinner (it was my birthday). We also felt bad for the people that were turned away at the door. This seemed very out of character for a restaurant of this fine nature. I can only assume that there was some kind of personal emergency and that this is not an ongoing situation.

it's really a fusion gourmet Asian food and all that we order tastes wonderful. We had calamari, beef with seven spices & shrimp scallops pad thai. The price stated at the menu at trip advisor is totally different, it is more expensive now, but worth the taste. Location is about 5 minutes walk from Hilton, Marriot marquis, Hyatt. They don't have kids meal but they tried to accommodate. They have sushi too but we didn't try, Will come again for sure

Food was good and reasonably priced. Nice menu options. They were not aware that there was a conference in town and were a bit overwhelmed at lunch, so there was a long wait, but they were very apologetic about it.

There is nothing wrong here - there just isn't anything memorable. As vegetarians we've eaten at lots of sushi/asian restaurants for all the options. There were fewer here and what we had was good - not great. Service was extremely good however.

Food was well prepared, but not exceptional. Quiet, in a busy area. Very convenient to Marriott Marquis. I probably would not go out of my way to eat here, but it was reasonable and close to our hotel.

Very good surprise. The Thai dumplings were superb. The main dish was made of scallops and spinach rice noodles, in a bolognaise sauce. It was very good. The only complaint is the scallop was very watery and did not taste much. The restaurant looked pricey to me (entree + main + 1 beer = 50 USD).

They had a limited menu for Dragon Con, but I wanted sashimi. Not a problem. Fresh and tasty. Will eat there again, next convention.

We enjoyed our first meal at PRB so much that we went back the very next night for dinner. There were so many choices on the menu that tempted us. Service was excellent. Decor was very appealing.

Sometimes when you go to a nice restaurant which is super busy the food quality drops a notch. Not this place. Hot and six entrees served at the same time! Sushi appetizer was perfect. If you drink Manhattan's make sure to tell them how you want it served. They will automatically serve it with ice. They do use jumbo ice cubes to keep the bourbon from being watered down.

I was dining alone . I ordered the pad Thai . From the time I ordered until the dish was in the table was about 4 minutes. Which was ok as I was alone but for a $22 entree it was a bit too quick. The food was just fine and the service fine too but can’t rave about any of it.

Delicious! We both had fish specials that were delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well. We arrived right at 5, our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Would definitely recommend but go early.

We really loved the food. It was excellent, all the way. The satay, the sushi, very nice 7 spiced beef dish and excellent deserts. Would definitely return.

Had a good dinner experience. The food was good, nothing special but no complaints. Our server did forget part of our meal but quickly fixed the issue.

I wish I had found this place sooner! The first evening I had chicken satay and seven flavoured beef. They were probably the Best I have ever had. They kept bringing me hot sauce without extra charge. The food was enough for me to go back the following evening! I have just had Thai ribs and for main had the surf and turf. Absolutely awesome! This place is a must!

My server was not the warm and fuzzy type, but that's not what I'm looking for. He was knowledgable about the menu, quick with the drinks and food, and didn't hover. Just my speed. The manager was extremely friendly, striking up a conversation about our mutual alma mater when he noticed my bag with its logo. Onto the food... I solely had sushi, and it was all outstanding. I opted for a few pieces of nigiri and the lobster roll. It was amazing, as was its presentation. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

We had a special brussel sprout app that was great followed by tuna cooked perfectly served with a surprising plate of sides that were very enjoyable only weak spot was service waiter was abrupt and did not offer dessert so we went some where else for dessert but found out our hotel said they have excellent dessert

Located a short walk from the main hotels in downtown, this indoor/outdoor seafood / sushi restaurant offers a warm and inviting Asian-fusion environment. Portions are small, wine pours by-the-glass are even smaller, but the quality of the food is pretty good (my salmon was cooked to perfection, but the accompanying veggies were cold). A bit on the pricey side for what you get, I might come back to try the sushi, as there were many people there getting that. But there are a lot of other places to try in the area…

This was recommended by the concierge at the Marquis and the food was as he described. I was seated per my reservation, food was delivered in a reasonable time, hot and good. The only problem was getting my check to leave.

We eat at this restaruant a few times a year when we are at conventions. We have always felt in the past that while expensive, it was a decent place for sushi and other asian dishes. We will not be returning after our most recent visit. The service was terrible. It was not crowded and we couldnt get a waiter to pay any attention to us. We ordered the calamari and found it to be rather blah, then I found shells in it. Shells that felt like shrimp shells. It was disgusting. I pointed it out the the waiter and he seemed to think it wasnt a big deal. He wouldnt take it off of our bill. My entree was mediocre, and the sushi portions have gotten smaller. Avoid this place.

Nowadays just about every restaurant is billed as 4 stars unless they charge an arm and a leg. This place deserves 5. It is right next to the Marriott Marquis hotel so one would expect they would only cater to transients. This is my 3rd visit over the last few years. Consistently excellent sushi, fresh oysters and fresh fish. I had a very well prepared piece of swordfish with an exotic sauce and a side of spicy, broiled brussel sprouts. Hot sake. An army of chefs and friendly waitstaff. Very pleasant atmosphere. Nice place for couples.

Came in for dinner and enjoyed a couple speciality rolls and edamame. Food was prepared and presented in a great way. Very delicious as well. Good selection of beer and wine as well. They had a small bar area, a sushi bar, dining room & a patio as well. Overall, I liked my meal and would return. Just be aware that the staff here seemed to be a bit more distant than I'm used to. If you caught their attention or called them over, everything was fine. They just came to visit the table less frequently and a bit more quietly than I've seen at other places. Still worth a visit!

The food here was awesome. I love Thai food and the spice level was awesome. I got the chicken coconut soup and Pad Thai. Awesome would go back anytime.

Ok, so I am never THAT mean with my titles (ok, maybe once or twice). I'll just say that I had soup that tasted like it came from a can, was sitting out overnight, and served to me luke-cold. I almost gagged (which is hard to do really nowadays as most restaurants are at least mediocre). I sent it back and had sushi, which was...eh. There are lots of other places you can go - I'd not recommend this place. Perhaps it was wrong time/wrong place but even my friend, who ordered MISO (as in, how can you get that wrong?) could only eat 3 spoonfuls. Inedible miso? I actually was scared for my health (dramatic but honest)

We ended up ordering a mix of Japanese and Chinese dishes. All were tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly, the waiter knowledgable about the menu, and the manager stopped by our table to check on us. We will eat here again on another trip to Atlanta.

I believe this restaurant could be a five but for our visit I have to give it a four We were there for Atlanta Mart Gift show along with thousands of other people ! Most restaurants that week are on over load. We did not have a reservation but called ahead to put our name on “the list” before we arrived. The line was out the door when we arrived - it moved fairly quickly I must say. We were seated after about 20 minutes which I feel is a big plus for them given the crowd. We waited longer than that for our drinks ! The service was extremely slow getting our drinks, placing our order, and getting our food. Our meals were all very good (5 of us all pleased) but the plates looked messy and when it was served the waiter couldn’t even tell what some of the dishes were. After four of us got our meals , he still had to call out the last dish and there was only one person left - you would have thought he could have figured out that the meal belonged to the person without a plate in front of them Anyway - as I said it was an extremely busy time - I would definitely give it another try as the food and atmosphere were both quite good. One little aside - nothing to do with the restaurant- we ate outside - warm evening for Atlanta in January - and had two homeless people asking us for food and money The restaurant had large planters and chains separating the side walk from outside dining so they did their best to prevent this - but if you are a magnet for that type of thing to happen or it makes you nervous I would suggest eating inside

Everything here was tasty and exceptional. Our server was kind and attentive. We had a wonderful experience dining here. The dynamite roll is a must have.

Sat at the bar. Bartender service was helpful, and knew the menu. Chatted with the owner--very nice people who above all wanted to ensure I had an excellent dining experience. Had the pecan-crusted trout with rice and bok choy. Outstanding. Plenty of menu items if you're not a sushi fan. Great location, just past all the Peachtree crowds in downtown Atlanta.

I ate here in an attempt to escape the relentless flow of meat and potatoes. The atmosphere was classy but relaxed. The menu had several dishes that I would have chosen, a mix of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. Good all round. Lousy beer selection, but what do you expect from an Asian restaurant?

Really enjoyed dinner. Food was great. I sat outside and started off with a Moscow Mule. Had Vietnamese spring rolls as an appetizer and the taste and presentation was phenomenal. I had Spicy Seven Flavored Beef for the entree and once again, I ate every bite. It could not have been a better choice. Within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at, reasonably priced, good service and excellent food.

This is a great place in downtown Atlanta to meet up or to have a memorable Dining experience. I love this place!

The food was okay - nothing spectacular but it was okay. Service was pretty good so I rate that higher.

The food was OUTSTANDING! Loved the miso soup, shrimp tempura roll, and homemade delicious coconut ice-cream. We went on a Friday night, and they were very busy. Understandably there was a wait. Our waitstaff was very nice and even took the time to split our checks. If you love sushi, go! Just don't go if you're in a hurry!

Was not sure what to expect. Close to the hotel. Dined for lunch. Service was great and the food excellent. My husband had a short rib obento and I had the manchi shrimp obento. Both were delicious.

The variety of options were different compared to the many Asian restaurants I enjoy. The service was polite and attentive. The food was nicely presented with some interesting sides but no dressing on the leafy salad. Crab rangoon to start was hot and fresh , 7 spiced beef was outstanding...wish I could find it elsewhere. Quality food, didn't leave hungry and spent $20 for a nice lunch.

We had just arrived in Atlanta for the first time, and during one of our searches for a place to eat - stumbled upon Pacific Rim. The fillet mignon steak was amazing, the service was excellent and we loved the friendly and cosy atmosphere. Would come back again!

Every time I go to Atlanta I always got to this restaurant. They are one of the few restaurants that offer a Malaysian entrée in addition to Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. The entree was just as I liked it, with enough spices both gentle and hot. I also enjoyed a good Sake. The only problem that night was that after office hour crowd who were a bit noisy, possibly a birthday toast, etc. at the bar. The service was good.

Dinner at the Pacific Rim was excellent! They have a broad variety of Asian dishes from Lo Mein to Bangkok Crispy Chicken. We tried a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes and they were all excellent. The Coconut Chicken soup was very good as were the Spring Rolls. The only thing that detracted from our experience was the street noise. The bistro opens up to the street with available sidewalk seating and it was quite noisy at times. It may be possible to sit

The menu looks great but the food is awful. In the middle of lots of downtown hotels with few good restaurants, I chose this one for dinner and it was horrible. Sushi made from poor quality fish is very unappetizing, even disgusting. A pity, as I am in Atlanta only briefly and there are so many good restaurants.

Pacific Rim Bistro IS Great for groups....it DOES have fresh seafood/Asian fusion, and it IS a NICE PLACE. I chose this restaurant based on it's location and the good reviews I read here. My family of three were joined by 5 others.....a mini 8 person high school reunion gathering. I was a hero for choosing this restaurant. Everyone was raving about how delicious their food was. My Korean Short Ribs were amazing. I'm not Asian so please be brave to try that. Sooo good! It is less than a mile from Centennial Park. An easy walk if the weather is favorable.

It's not off the scale impressive and it's not off the scale expensive. Service was a little slow, but the food was decent.

We ordered soup, various sushi and noodles with chicken as friends - it was incredibly good and the Service was top. Clear recommendation!

Great seafood and sushi in downtown Atlanta. The salmon with mango chutney was a great choice. Will come back next time in town.

The food here was just fine. My husband and I ordered calamari, spring rolls, volcano roll and dragon roll. We love sushi and the food was just not impressive for the prices we were paying. I’ve had better at smaller restaurants near my home. The service though, that was a problem. They were very slow, the wine glasses at our table were filthy, and we had to ask for everything we needed. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.

During a recent business trip to Atlanta I was tasked with picking a good sushi restaurant within walking distance of our hotels. After viewing the reviews on this site and on Google.com I chose this restaurant. The service was excellent and professional. Our food was outstanding. We had everything from Sushi to Seared Togaroshi Tuna (what I ate). I had the opportunity to try several different Saki's. Next time I am in Atlanta I am hoping to return.

Great experience! No wait on a Saturday night. We decided to try this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. We had excellent sushi--fresh with great flavor. My daughter got the pad thai, and it was some of the most authentic I have had outside of Thailand! I learned the head chef is Thai. The sushi is amazing, but definitely don't sleep on their Thai dishes which are better than what you will find at most "Thai restaurants" in the US!

Fabulous food, great location, wonderful happy hour specials. We had fried calamari, spicy tuna roll, ahi tuna. Don't miss it!

Had the bento box which includes a generous lunch portion with variety! About $13 for the shrimp options. The food wasn't remarkable, but it will do for lunch. The massaman curry shrimp lacked spiciness in my book (the picture is the basil chicken). However, we had good service--five of us in & out in an hour after booking on opentable.com. Solid experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again.

The right place is hard to pick for a double date, particularly when one of the foursome is an ex-girlfriend you haven't seen but once in seventeen years. But she was coming into Atlanta with a long list of restaurants near the hotel that she thought looked good, and I have been reappointed as "best friend." Add in the fact my current partner is both Chinese and a food snob, and at this point us guys were merely along for the ride hoping our ladies went home happy. We walked over the three blocks and up one from the Sheraton in an unseasonable cold snap. Just being inside was nice. The interior was stylish, dimly lit, and warm. Warm was good. Our waiter got us seated quickly and so on. For appetizers, it was mostly dragon rolls. I was the dissenter and went with the grilled dumplings. I was tempted by the spare ribs, but I had eaten those at Trader Vic's the night prior. For the entree, I went with the Korean short ribs. I wasn't expecting it to be boneless, but then this was too nice a place to be picking up kalbi and gnawing bones like my go-to place back home. My date went with the Malaysian curry chicken and enjoyed it, while my ex enjoyed her shrimp. The prices were a bit higher than I am used to, but appropriate for the area. The service was top-tier, aided by the fact it wasn't crowded. I hadn't eaten there since a drunken lunch during DragonCon several years ago and somewhat regret the oversight. And most importantly for those perilous circumstances, the ladies left happy. Thanks, all.

I am in Atlanta every January for the gift show. 20+ years I've been going. I can think of only one time where we had bad service. This is our yearly sushi go to place. It's fresh, friendly and reasonable. I always make a reservation.

Went there for a Mother's Day meal. On Sunday evenings, this area is very quiet. Parking was in the same building, which they validate for. The food was very good. I had the whole crispy fish, we had sushi, dumplings, and appetizers. All of it was outstanding. Service was very good also. We sat outside on the balcony, and enjoyed the weather. Dinner for four, with appetizers, drinks, and several glasses of wine was $200 including tip. For what we got, it was very reasonable. But with the food quality being as high as it was, it was a bargain.

Delicious food and fast, friendly service. There were plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options, as well as chicken or beef for those who don’t like fish. Would definitely return if we were in the area!

Are here twice. Nice seeing, indoor and outdoor seating.Food, drinks and service were very good. Close to Marriot Marquis

I have visited a couple of times now, both at lunch and dinner, and the sashimi is of great quality and presentation. I guess because of their location they always are quite busy but service is quick and friendly. I can recommend sitting at the sushi bar if you are alone to watch the skill and speed of the masters. Definitely worth a visit if you don’t want to stroll to far from your downtown hotel

Very nice restaurant decor, excellent service and tasty Asian food. We had the Wanchi shrimp and the Spicy Seven Flavored beef (not very spicy at all). Maybe a little on the spendy side for dinner but not really that bad. Would go there again if we ever get back to Atlanta.

The Pacific Rim bistro is located in the heart of Atlanta’s Downtown. It is a short walk from Peachtree Center MARTA station. I was able to get a table without prior booking at 4.30 on a Tuesday afternoon. I had miso soup to start with Tempura combo (shrimp and vegetables) with a selection of Sashimi for main course, which included salmon, tuna and yellowtail. For dessert, I chose fried bananas. To drink, I had raspberry lemonade martini, hot sake and Irish coffee. Everything was pretty good although I should avoid liquor coffee outside of the UK and Ireland due to ‘squirty’ cream. Service was good and the cost was $95 without service for one.

This place was pretty dead at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Server was pretty nice. Drinks were way sweet! Spring rolls were very good, sushi was mainly rice and the pad Thai was nothing to write home about. Overall ok nothing great but not terrible

Awful service. Food was good, but not quite worth the bad service. We got our food before the people beside us who had been there for an hour and a half with no food. We had to get up and take out cups to the bar for a water refill. The waiter ignored us. Would not go back.

Pacific Rim Bistro on Peachtree Center Avenue in Atlanta is a great spot for all things sushi, seafood, and drinks. I like the atmosphere and location of the restaurant and the ability to eat outside. Everything on the menu is delicious, fresh, and well prepared. This is a great place to eat during the middle of the day for lunch or at the end of a long day. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

Blown away with the food and the service, just absolutely fantastic. Will be here for lunch. Coming back for the Poke tacos.

Was on a business trip staying at the Marriott Marquis and need a nice dinner close by. I had a ice cold Sapporo, edamame, Philly Roll and a Fire Cracker roll. Wonderful presentation, fresh and tremendous. I sat at the bar, watched the game and had a wonderful experience. Bonus idea if you are staying near by. The valet parking was full at the Marriott. I excited right out of the Marriott and went down Peachtree Center to the second light, took a right and there is a FREE parking lot on the weekends behind a big church. Hard to get free parking in a major city on the weekend.

Restaurants near the big downtown hotels usually serve overpriced moderately good food. This restaurant appeared to be smaller on the outside than it was inside. We stopped in there for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised at how much quieter it was than some of the other restaurants in the area. The menu was varied and there was a sushi bar available. I had the Japanese Ribs and they were delicious. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. We felt lucky we happened to find this place.

We booked the entire restaurant out and were very pleased with the service prior to the event as well as the service on the night. The food was excellent and our guests had a wonderful evening!

fried avocado appetizer was excellent; odd selection of entrees - thought there would be a lot more choice of sushi and seafood, instead a lot of beef dishes that the waiter tried to steer us to;

We hosted a dinner for more than 100 at Pacific Rim. Owner Anna Hsu and Office Manager Jenny, made the planning easy and they were exceptionally helpful in tailoring the dinner and drink menu to our needs -- offering many helpful suggestions. The food was great and the ambience was perfect for our needs, even making use of the large outdoor patio on a balmy fall evening. We'd definitely go back.

We had a table of seven and everybody's dish looked fantastic. The food was served warm as it should be and my dish was extremely fresh. The staff was also very pleasant.

Nice location in downtown Atlanta near our hotel. Has an offering of outside dining or dining room. We chose inside. Calamari is quite good along with sauce. Sushi tuna plate very fresh / plentiful. Also enjoyed the Bangkok chicken with a sweet / sour sauce and a spicy vegetable medley & rice. Good service from the manager and staff.

Beautiful restaurant for an after-work dinner with my team. The sushi was excellent and the spicy options were very spicy. It was more of a Thai spice than a Japanese spicy sushi so be warned if you can't handle the heat! It did take a long time to get our food, but we were happy to wait. Would definitely eat here again. Some of the best friend rice I've ever had.

I had to catch a bite to eat while staying at the Marriott Marquis. I was by myself and the bellman recommended Pacific Rim as it is right across the street. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I got the chefs special sushi dinner. It was delicious. It was not cheap, approximately $35.00 but it was worth it. I wanted a variety of sushi and that is what I got. Good food and atmosphere, would definitely return.

Had a light dinner of miso soup and sashimi. Service was prompt and discrete. Prices are reasonable.

We visited this Bistro after a tour of The World of Coca-Cola where we were given a list of local restaurants. What a find! The restaurant is cleverly furnished with modern clean lines which somehow gave off a tranquil oriental atmosphere. We were tired, hot and sticky when we arrived but the staff treated us with courtesy and respect. The menu was varied and the meals were delivered quickly and beautifully presented to each customer. It was a delight to see what piece of artwork came out of the kitchen next. Just about everyone took a photo of their food! The food was exceptional and it was reasonably priced at between $20 - $30. The wine was also pretty good although I would have liked it more chilled. We would highly recommend this restaurant, it's staff and especially its food.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we hosted a dinner here for 15 people. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. They had a lovely table set up for us in the back with a sheer curtain around it that when closed, provided a bit of privacy while still allowing us to see their beautiful restaurant. We ordered appetizers for our table and everything we had was delicious. We had both pork and vegetarian dumplings which were fantastic. The chicken satay, firecracker sushi as well as vegetarian sushi also great. Everyone raved about the Japanese spare ribs though and we ended up ordering more as they went so fast! We all ordered off the menu so we each had something different but my spicy seven flavored beef was fantastic. Every one of our guests commented on how fresh and tasty their food was which is what you hope to hear when hosting a dinner! We had Michelle and Christine as our servers and they were awesome. There was no wait for our food or drinks and they provided us with excellent service, all with a smile. We felt as if the people at Pacific Rim were celebrating with us! We did a three choice option for dessert which was a suggestion by the restaurant that I'm glad we took! Fuji apples, chocolate lava cake and Mango creme brulee, absolutely fantastic and all gone within minutes. My husband and I lived in Asia for a number of years so we know what Authentic Asian food should taste like. Pacific Rim knocked it out of the park.Thank you to everyone there that helped to make a special night, even more special! If you are looking for fresh, authentic Asian cuisine, look no further. This is your place.

Sushi, Pad Thai, and Bangkok Chicken were delicious! The only thing that outshines the food is the service. Vichitchi was THE greatest waiter/host! Dress? We were casual but most folks wore business attire Kid Friendly? Well, not ideal, but we did have 4 children under 10 and they were great (not the kids, the staff 😁)!

Was just sent away with sweet explanation that you’re closed for an event today - there was no info anywhere inside or outside or on social media - not very professional of you guys

Dropped in on a Weds night. Good crowd, mixed amongst those enjoying the end of happy hour after leaving work in suits, and both younger and older groups showing up for dinner in jeans or casual dress. Sushi was great, no complaints. Only negative was the homeless presence in the area, approaching me for money on the walk over from the Hilton (see my review).

The majority of the maki were spicy, possibly in an attempt to mask less than ideal quality sushi. Happy hour specials posted to their website are unknown to servers who say they don’t have a happy hour. Service was rushed. Overpriced for the quality and more expensive than the menu they publish to their website.

Nice find in the middle of Atlanta. Not just sushi, menu is wiser for the less adventurous. Service was good, food reasonably priced. Would visit again
A must visit for Asian
Neat restaurant with an amazing menu. Has a bit of everything from Asia. Whether you want thai or Japanese they have it. I had the flank steak and was very satisfied with it.
