Great breakfast

By kwanjai206 |

We were on our way out of town and decided to pick this place for breakfast. It was a little bit out of the way but it was such a great find! A bit of a hidden gem, seems like a place that the locals go to. My friend and I had the Wild Boar Chili Hash and oh my goodness, it was delicious! I don’t typically like “chili” but this had a lot of other things going on that it didn’t seem like it was a traditional chili. Everything was so fresh and the biscuits were freshly made as well and it came with a homemade marmalade. Great meal. Totally worth the trek there!

A real find in St. Johns

Had brunch here with friends this weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. Delicious food, fair prices, good service. If decor or ambiance is important to you, this is not your restaurant. I had chicken pot pie for a main course and apple pie for desert. Both were great. I asked around the table, and everyone agreed, 5 stars! I thought the chicken pot pot size was a bit small. Could be slightly larger.

Blown away!!!

What a fabulous experience. My partner and I were here after hearing Norman Sylvester at St. St. John’s square. A meal of the savory nut loaf, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy (gf) and organic chicken galette with mashers and gravy, (also gf), was a delicious end to a exquisite Blues beginning. Amber ale and house red were delicious as well. We will be back!

Try the Wild Boar Hash

We found this place walking in St. Johns. It is a wonderful place to eat. We have mobility impaired friends and they were able to walk and sit comfortably. I had the Wild Boar Hash the first time we visited and it is so good. Service is very good, friendly. Price is reasonable and they have a very good menu

Really great place, with excellent food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We were here for breakfast but the menu looks great for all day, vegetarian and otherwise. Creative cocktails too.
