Located on Market Street in the heart of Ballard, this is a local Italian restaurant great for picking up or dining in. Very good fresh pizzas and salads and good customer service. A great place to pickup dinner for a casual night in or family friendly for a night out.

We’re in this area all the time, but somehow missed this place until tonight when we were looking for a restaurant that had AC and was not packed with people. The menu is so extensive, I have to go back just to try other things. The dish I had - a lamb dish with sun dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, goat cheese and pasta - was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had, and it was enough to take home for another meal. There seems to be both Greek and Italian items on the menu. Excellent beer and wine choices and good prices. We’ll be back….Just one drawback. Our server was NOT wearing a mask despite strong guidance to do so from local health department officials. I write this in hopes the management will realize how badly this reflected on the restaurant in terms of keeping things safe during Covid.

Love Palermo! Fish dishes are always prepared perfectly - I love the caprese salad too. Husband always gets pizza and is never disappointed. Happy Hour from 2-5 is awesome if I feel like treating myself to a nice glass of vino! Service is awesome. The ladies who work there are super friendly and they love fawning over our dog! Definitely has a family feel.

Palermo's offerings include pizza, pasta, salads and hot sandwiches, but its all-day breakfast menu brought me in at lunchtime. I saw buttermilk pancakes listed with pure maple syrup and couldn't resist. It was 2 p.m. and a waiter pointed out that Happy Hour just started (goes until 5 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. until the place closes). Small plates and appetizers at Happy Hour cost $4 or $5. I was tempted but still went ahead with an order for a short stack of the pancakes. They arrived quickly and were delicious. When I ordered a cup of decaf coffee, my server, who was prompt, pleasant and attentive, brewed some for me and delivered it in the largest coffee cup I have ever seen in a restaurant. The big, casual dining room exudes warmth and a stay-awhile atmosphere. I felt good just sitting there and plan to return to sample the Italian cuisine. Palermo is on Market Street in Ballard, almost at the corner of 20th Street.

We came back to Palermo restaurant last night and it is a very, very recommendable place to go. The pizza is superb, thin dough and crust and great flavors, including veggie and much more. And the Bulgarian waiters are always so kind and friendly. It is located in the heart of Ballard, a chic - if not the most chic - neighborhood in Seattle.

This place has incredible and affordable breakfast all day! I always get the sweet little scone, instead of toast, which is delicious. Also, a Happy Hour which starts early and serves up premium local beer at $3.50 a pint. Who could ask for more?

On a recent visit to Seattle, I offered to take my nephew to dinner, and he wanted pasta. His dad mentioned Palermo, so off we went. The restaurant itself is unpretentious and welcoming, as was the waitstaff. I had the eggplant parmigiana appetizer and a small Caesar salad with anchovies. They did not skimp on the anchovies, and if that salad was small, I'd hate to see the large! It was good. The eggplant was melt-in-the-mouth with lots of melted cheese. My nephew enjoyed his cheese ravioli in a white sauce, he polished off an entire order of cheese bread, and had plenty of room for the chocolate mousse cake. Ah, to be 11 again!

Love this place, but can’t get past the generous pasta dish with lamb, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese and Kalamata olives. Our favorite, but it’s huge, so we split it along with one of their excellent salads. Some of the dishes have a Bulgarian influence. Very well-kept, clean and friendly place. Our favorite in Ballard.

A very nice and cosy place, well situated in the lovely district of Ballard in Seattle. We went there three times in one week, because the food is so good, and we especially recommended the appetisers. The staff is so very friendly and quick. Warmly recommended!

Good pizza and very good service. Very traditional and no wood fired burnt crust here. Limited wine list but all very good. Will be back. Excellent servcie always.

My wife and I wanted pizza, but with the stay-at-home orders, we decided on take-out. We called Palermo Pizza & Pasta, ordered and paid for our pizza over the phone. It was ready in 20 minutes and delivered to our car curbside. We ordered the Palermo Special with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, mushrooms and black olives. It tasted great with a nice wine (red cabernet blend).

We were looking for somewhere with quality but not over the top Italian food to take our daughter & her roommate when we visited. Palermo fit the bill perfectly. Small dining room, friendly & relaxed service. A menu with lots of variety and of course the all important - everyone's meals were excellent! Will be back when we visit again!

Walked here with my son from the Queen Anne area, he knew exactly where to head. The service was excellent and all four us ordered a variety from the menu. Good thing we were walking back to work some of it off - it was very good!

The food and service were both very good. This one is worth going to. It isn't terribly fancy, but the food and service will make you go back.

So many excellent choices, but we love the lamb parpadelle pasta with sundried tomatoes, Kalamata olives and goat cheese, enough for two to share. The Sicilian salad half-order is plenty for two and contains a good mix of veggies and fresh greens. Good prices. Friendly service. Nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. It’s a great neighborhood place that deserves our business. The pizzas look good too, and lots of people must agree because they seem to do a good take-out business.
Delicious pizza
Stopped in for a last minute meal and the food and service was excellent. Definitely recommend this joint for pizza. Convenient and family friendly.
