This established restaurant is about a mile north of SeaTac airport. On weekends, they always have a 15-20 min wait to be seated, but that's because the food is really good and tastes homemade. If you've never tried a German pancake (Dutch Baby), try it here sometime. Be sure it's served with butter, cinnamon, lemon wedges (to squeeze on it) & top with maple syrup. Awesome!!

I used to love this place in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s when I flew to Seattle more often. I had forgotten all about it, but remembered and decided to try it again. I didn’t have time to order the German pancakes, which used to be my favorite, so I ordered a buttermilk waffle, but it was disappointingly bland. I’ll make sure to have time on my next trip.

Great breakfasts, though most of menu items not very healthy! We love to eat here every so often! Hard to find German pancakes these days, and theirs are great! Happy friendly staff!

I'd heard really good thing about this restaurant, and was excited to try it out. We went on a Sunday morning at around 10:30am. The wait wasn't too long - maybe 10 minutes. Service was ok - although it took 15 minutes to get a glass of orange juice, and they spilled coffee on the seat. But they were friendly enough. I was so looking forward to a big, fat, awesome omelette. It was big enough, but the cheese was fake! That disgusing, velveeta-type cheese. With a thin slice on top all hardening like a McDonald's cheeseburger. It's ok when it's hot off the grill, but as it cools, it's awful. For $11, could you not use real cheese? So not worth it. If you want a fantastic breakfast, head to Kirkland for Brown Bag Cafe, or Maltby for the Matby Cafe. Oh, btw, the blueberry pancakes were pretty good. I could do it at home just as good, but not bad.

Retro breakfast eatery. Try the Swedish pancakes with lingon berries. The corn beef hash is homemade and taste just like my dads, delicious!

We were on holiday in Seattle and The Pancake Chef was near our hotel. As per other reviews, don't let the look of it from the outside put you off. Inside it is a spotlessly clean old fashioned American diner with very friendly service. The food was great and good value. We had the scrambled egg with pepper, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes and eggs, biscuits and gravy.

We wished we could be back for lunch and dinner (next time), the breakfast was fantastic with many classics and specialties. We ate too much but we couldn’t stop. Even the wheat toast was top notch. Our last time here was 37 years ago after our honeymoon trip to Europe. Great memories.

Pancake chef was a basic 1950s diner with all the original furniture, menus, and other style. The food was served hot and fresh. Waits was attentive and nice. Coffee was horrible, so get an orange juice.

Senior's seem to love this place, probably because the food is soft and easy to chew. Service is terrible, had to get our own water, coffee, and silverware several different visits.

Great Breakfast, Prices are very good, and down home friendly employees. They have a very wide selection for all tastes. If you want a great breakfast for a great price, and something different from the chains, try Pancake Chef.

Well if you are staying at the Sutton's hotel it is a walk to get to the Pancake Chef but if was good food and good service.

We found this place while searching for an all-day breakfast place and were so glad we did. Our waitress was a bit overworked but all in all the food was worth the wait and price. Parking was kinda weird...who places speed bumps right in a parking space?

This place is close to the airport. It reminds of a diner like Jim’s. I had German pancake with lemon. I ordered the baby one. The lemon was the perfectly sweet and tart. For some reason, I expected the pancake to be firm or even crispy, but it was soft and fluffy. Not a bad thing. They also brought out three types of syrup, but the lemon was way much better. I ordered the hash browns and eggs a la carte. The hash browns were perfectly fried. It was a good portion. My over medium eggs were cooked as requested. They lost a star due to the waitress. She was rude and had no patience. She said she was new, but she didn’t have to get frustrated. The place wasn’t even busy, so I don’t understand why she was so short with us. My friend asked a few questions regarding the menu and at what point she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly. I doubt she will be there for long

This place is great for a homemade breakfast. My server was very nice and kept the delicious coffee coming. The food was much better than a chain restaurant. The place could use a renovation though.

We ended up going here before heading out of town and were really happy with our food. I enjoyed the cheese blintzes and hash browns.

We visited this diner on Aug 24, 2018. We were looking for a good breakfast before flying out of town and we were not disappointed. Everything that this diner serves is fresh. The fresh squeezed orange juice is awesome. Homemade biscuits and muffins...my personal favorite! This is a well established family owned spot that you must try!!

When we walk into a place and see an older clientele with some families mixed in, our expectation of value goes up. This is the "classic" feel that we love when we find it is complemented with good, quality home-cookin'. Service for late breakfast was brisk, efficient, helpful, and no-nonsense. The options were fairly standard, with some seasonal fruit offerings like local peach crepes available. Portions were huge. Everything in and around Seattle is a couple bucks more than you might expect, but not outrageously expensive. If you're in or around the airport, have a big appetite, and have a little time to spare some morning, make it a point to stop here.

My friend and I stopped in today for some breakfast and as we both asked our waitress what was on the plate of the person next to us. German pancake. If that is all you get, get it! Big enough to share. We also had omelets, hashbrowns and toast. Omelets were great, a lot of veggies! Wonderful wheat toast, not your average wheat bread. I really liked that I had my own carafe of coffee, so I never had to worry about an empty cup.

Second visit here and I have the impression that if you're a regular you get better service. This visit was no exception. The coffee is average at best, food is decent but not spectacular and service was at first unfriendly but warmed up with each coffee refill. One notable menu item is the hand cut hash browns which were good. I'd come back here mostly because its a locally owned, non-chain restaurant in a convenient location near SeaTac Airport. But my expectations for a good experience would not be great...it is what it is.

We were skeptical based on the facade but we stopped in. So glad we did. Food was great service fantastic.

We had planned to go to IHOP next to our hotel but it is closed due to a gas leak so we chose to travel a short way to Pancake Chef. The place was packed today but we soon found a space after a short wait. The crepes were very good as were the pancakes. The bacon was superb. The thickest and meatiest bacon I ever ate. Large slices I could have made it my whole meal. The fact that our coffee for seniors over 55 was free was a pleasant touch and I thank the owners for that special idea.

Great service, a little pricey for potions, but quality meal. I would eat here again. The German pancake was OK, reminded me of a breakfast souffle.

This is a very old diner with lots of seating and a huge menu. The sourdough pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. The service was great and the food came out quick. This is going to be a place we visit every time we are in Seattle.

We had been awake since 2 a.m. Arrived in Seattle at 10 a.m. We needed breakfast and lots of coffee. Delicious meals, and endless coffee. Free coffee if you're over 55! We are, so an extra perk!! Great place, will stop in again.

Husband and I had a quick trip to Seattle. Popped in the day we arrived as we wanted to eat somewhere close to the airport #sohungry. Had a late lunch...staff was welcoming and food was soooo good! Try their omeletttes/breakfast items...Oh my...generous portions, served hot! We were so impressed that the next day on our way out of town, we stopped in AGAIN! French dip, soup of the day...delicious! If you're looking for great food close to SeaTac airport, this is the place!!

My husband and I visited this restaurant based on good reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The outside is a little run down, but as we walked inside I felt like we went back in time. The service was friendly and fast. We could see the chefs cooking our breakfast. We both ordered omlets that were delicious. They came with 5 small pancakes that were served with 3 different kinds of delicious syrups. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was my husbands favorite. We would highly recommend this to anybody visiting the Seattle area.

My family and I stopped in to have some breakfast because the reviews were so good, however after being sat down at the booth we got to looking around and noticed multiple, hundreds of knats so over the walls and we decided to just leave because we couldn't imagine staying to eat after that experience.

Great place for breakfasts - omelette, potato pancakes, waffles and the usual. Delicious sandwiches (tasty Rueben) and hamburgers. Seniors over 55 get free coffee, tea or milk. Pleasant staff and friendly manager. Near SeaTac airport. Worth trying.

Everything is made from scratch. High quality ingredients and unique items you might not find other places. (German pancakes and little donuts.) Love that seniors get their drinks for free. Over 50. Coffee tea I'm not sure about soda. Only negative is the coffee is incredibly weak. I wish that they would use a Little bit stronger of a blend. Bonus though they leave the carafes on the table so you don't have to wait for a refill.

Very close to airport and we were starving. So glad we stopped. It was crowded but we didn't have to wait long and had an excellent breakfast. A whole lot of food was served! I ordered the crepes and 3 came on the plate. They were excellent but too much food. Wish we lived there so we could go back! You will enjoy a delicious breakfast.

You never know about a breakfast place. Pretty hard to mess up eggs. We went to the Pancake Chef before flying out of Seattle. Over all the food was very good, prices good, service good. But I've never had a "German Pancake." You really have to have an acquired taste for these. Not for me. But wife's Eggs Benedict was excellent. And my breakfast was good too. Just not the pancake. Sorry.

Stopped in here for breakfast when just beginning a car trip over to Spokane after picking my brother up at the airport. So it was early and they had just opened. Server was very friendly and nice. Seating on the spot and hot coffee poured. I ordered biscuits & gravy with hash browns and ham. My brother ordered pancakes and sausage. Was told biscuits were not finished baking yet but if I wanted to wait a while they would be out soon. Anyway I changed my order to pancakes. A few minutes later the waitress came back to tell me first batch of biscuits were ready if I'd like my original order. To be honest I was surprised she remembered my original order and that she came back to tell me. The food was all very good. Biscuits were obviously fresh and hot. Gravy was good. Hash browns and ham were all good. My brother said the pancakes were good too. I can't honestly say this was the best diner I've been to. But I can say the food and service here are VERY good and probably the best breakfast in the vicinity of the airport or South Seattle / Bellevue I-5 / 405 corridors. Only other place open early like this is Denny's a few blocks down airport way. And seriously, Denny's vs a great little REAL diner like this ... I'd rather get a corn dog on the run from the gas station than eat at a Denny's! So this place is a great find and I'd love to go back for breakfast.

This is an old place and I saw some of the same people eating there on both mornings I was there. It's hard to find breakfast with out meat and eggs and they have a few items in this category. Blueberry pancakes and just plain french toast are what I had; both good. the hot tea really was hot and the service was fine. I ate here a few years ago and will again when I am in that area.

The apple fritters were worth the trip. I ordered the corned beef hash. It was gross. The country potatoes were cold and starchy. Needless to say, I paid 10bucks and left hungry.

A nearby search on trip advisor pulled up this place for breakfast. As we approached, the area was a little run down. The restaurant itself looked a little like a converted Waffle House. I'll admit, we almost left. Wow, so glad I have learned to not judge a book by its cover. I love this place. Inside the place looks like a diner. The mix of linoleum & carpet flooring, wood paneling half-walls, and plastic plants are a dead give away. However, you can feel the love in this place. They have chained light fixtures hanging around the room. Crossbeams have been nicely painted. The seats are cushioned, and the back wall is acme brick. The effect is a homey pleasant place. As you walk through the front door, you will be greeted by one or more people. It's a sincere hello and welcome. Throughout the order and meal they are attentive, polite and genuinely nice. Our server was funny. She joined in our poking fun at a co-worker that ordered hot chocolate. There is clearly a regular crowd they know by name. As a stranger in the mix of regulars, I really appreciated being treated as well as the regulars. Another feature that really impressed me is the table, chair and booth cleaning. They don't just wipe it down. They get out a bottle of Windex and thoroughly clean the table and seats. You don't see that very often. The menu and several reviews talked highly of the Homemade Corned Beef Hash. Wow, I am in love with their hash. The brisket used to make the corned beef was soft and tender. It fell apart in the hash. The blend of potato and corned beef was well done. The crisp they added while grilling was perfect. This is a wonderfully made hash that tastes great. Everyone enjoyed their food as much as I did. Pancake Chef has been open since 1973. They have awesome employees and service. They clearly are doing things right. Go visit them.

After watching youtube for my Seattle vacation trip..I saw this place as a must to eat for breakfast. All I can say is that the food was very good..but the place is outdated which was ok...and the service was poor...my girlfriend got coffee. .they didnt bring any milk/creamers..when we arrived, the man that asked if we wanted a booth or table got an attitude when we didn't answer fast enough, abruptly picked up two menus and stormed to a booth. ..dropped the menus on the table and left. ..hmmmm But we stuck it out...if you go before 9am..the breakfast specials are decent amd it beats paying the high prices for breakfast at the hotels by the airport.

Wonderful breakfast and service. They have fresh, squeezed orange juice and great food! Family owned restaurant! Highly recommend it! Will definitely return!

Thank you to the rental car agent that pointed us in this direction for breakfast after arriving in Seattle. Every kind of pancake you can possibly imagine. Delicious!

This place is close to the airport if you a looking for a breakfast place where it appears the locals go. The banana pancakes were yummie!

Going during COVID-19 the staff were masked and working with 25% capacity. My wife and I got in, were immediately seated, and served. The coffee was hot, the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were dry but butter was provided and the gravy more than made up for it. Some of the staff seemed friendly with a few locals and the food was warm enough to eat and not hot enough to scald. Would eat here again.

Great place to have breakfast. Home made pancakes served by great servers. They take extra care to check with you if you need a refill or something else. Enjoyed our breakfast on our trip to Seattle.

Great food. Had the Chef Breakfast sandwhich. The waitress gave us the Senior beverages,(didn't charge for our tea and soda.)

We landed in Seattle, craving for some good breakfast. I found this place near the airport. It was very good. Time stopped there around 60-ties but it has it's charm. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. I really like option to replace hashbrown or potatos with healthy salad. Thy serve all possible breakfast dishesh so everybody will be happy.

This is a GREAT place to eat breakfast - I really enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs over easy with a side of gluten free pancakes.

Psst- want a great breakfast, reasonably priced, in a clean sparkling place that's been in business since 1953? Crave home- style cooking with great country potatoes made from real potato, onions, and peppers and none of that rosemary potato/ red potato boring nonsense so many places sell today? Want pancakes that are truly PANCAKES or a Dutch Baby Pancake with lemon and powdered sugar ( small or large)? How about homemade soup, sandwiches, and yummy desserts? My retiredfiends turned me on to the Pancake Chef 2 years ago, and I have been returning ever since, by myself or with friends and guests who always like it. I love the 3 egg breakfast with toast, those yummy country potatoes, and your choice of meat for under $9.00 plus a small Dutch Baby Pancake ($6.99) Today my friend did the Pancake Sandwich with pancakes, bacon ( or ham) and eggs for $8.99. Can you say stuffed? Tons of different kinds of pancakes. Heck, they even had Sea Hawks pancakes!. Plus crepes, fritters, collar sized pancakes, French Toast, omlettes, soups, salads and sandwiches. **BREAKFAST SERVED ALL DAY (I think they are open from 6-2pm 7 days a week. Call and check) Great attentive service! Wait staff who remember and get your order correct! Clean facilities! No fancy -pancy coffee latte mocha Americano nonsense at this place. Simply drip coffee in a pitcher at your table or tea. You'll leave stuffed and happy. Or get a doggy bag for a midnight snack! My one criticism, really more of a preference, is I wish they had stronger coffee.

This was very close to the airport and was something new for us. It's got an old fashioned look to it and a lot of local customers for breakfast. The coffee was kind of thin and the food a little slow, but we liked all the other things we ordered. Their bacon was particularly good. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Think 1950's Diner... that never left that era. The menu has your standards but then it has some old fashion happiness like fritters, german pancakes, crepes .. etc things that are heart stoppingly not healthy. I am sure there is healthy vegan lactose gluten free stuff... but for me... bring on the pancakes, the sausage and the feeling I stepped back in time.

This is classic diner fare served but classic diner waitstaff. Seriously it is like stepping back in time to the late 50's early 60's. It has that kinda feel about the place. The food is spot on and the serve is good. Great value for you buck Try it

After my flight to Seattle wanted to get breakfast, went to pancake chef, at first pancake chef looked worn down, but once inside you can people enjoying their breakfast. Locals eat here so you the food is good. The pancake are good, especially the German pancake and the bacon is good also. Overall would eat here again also the pictures of Boeing airplane on the wall are nice.

We typically love finding local spots during our travels. This looked like it for that category but we will not return because of not only the waitresses attitude but the owners. We ordered the Country breakfast and the Crepe breakfast. For the amount of customers when we say down I was surprised how long it took for our breakfast to arrive. Guaranteed that was because when they did they were lukewarm to cold. The waitress came over to check on the, orders and should have immediately seen one order of eggs was wrong. However, as we found out later, she placed the order wrong. When I asked for the eggs to be redone, which took my walking up to the order line because she ignored our waving, she looked at me with an attitude like I was disrupting her morning. We waited and waited and waited, NO EGGS. My partner are two biscuits with gravy, potatoes and a large sausage patty and no eggs. I finally took our plates up to the register and said the waitress must be having a bad day because we couldn't seem to get out eggs. The waitress then walked over and again copped an attitude. When the cashier tried to explain to the owner what happened he gave,me no eye contact, said nothing, rang us up and took our money. I was patient, I was diplomatic. I won't worry about returning because it was very obvious they cared nothing about keeping my business.

Stopped here a couple of times while we were in town. The food was great! My wife had the cinnamon French toast and said it was really good. The biscuits and gravy were really tasty! The bacon they serve is thick cut and really good. O e of our friends had the German pancake and said it was delicious. Don’t let the outside scare you off, I did when I was in town before. Great food and decent prices

Simply put, this place has been around for 40 years for a reason: it's awesome. I had the buen sabor with pancakes and it was delicious. My server was attentive and friendly without being twee or overbearing. I spent $15 on a very hearty meal. I left with a smile on my face. The sun even came out. IN SEATTLE. It's an old school joint in all of the best ways. Highly recommended for fans of breakfast.

This little of the beaten path jewel was well worth he mile and a half walk to have breakfast...all 4 of us had something different, from the homemade Corned Beef Hash to the simple breakfast..and EVERYTHING was great! The place was rocking at 830 on a Saturday morning and the staff were phenomenal! I’ll be back and tell all my AA friends!

We went here for breakfast with family after arriving at SeaTac on an early morning flight. As others have mentioned, the waitress leaves a coffee pot on your table, which was very welcome after being out of bed at 4:30 al.m. and flying across a border. Better yet - coffee was free for us as seniors. Our daughter had the German pancake and said it was amazing. I had Piggies in a Blanket. These were tasty, although I thought that there was too much of the blanket (pancakes) and not enough of the piggies (sausage). My wife had one of the specials (an omelette) and said it was excellent. Our son-on-law enjoyed his meal, although he was a little disappointed that you cannot order lunch items before mid-morning. Tables are pretty close together, so don't go here for a private discussion!

We had breakfast on a Monday morning here. The decor seems original from the day it opened but everything is clean and in great shape. Our server was friendly and efficient. The meal portions were enormous and the food was very good.

Flew in to Seattle and rented a car. Happened across the restaurant. The outside suggests a greasy cheap diner, but we were hungry and took a chance. What a find! The diner has been there since ~1959 and could serve as a period piece movie setting, which was charming. The service was immediate even though the place was crowded - I am sure many of the customers were local. Which brings me to the food! It was simply outstanding. The French Toast was wonderful with a side of REAL bacon (thick sliced, not your average piece of grilled fat). My wife had the crepes, which were light and not drenched in butter. The blueberry compote was superb. Wished we had been able to sample the dinner plate sized German pancake the person at the next table had. The price of the meal was absurdly low - 2/3 of what I would have expected. A definite place to return the next time in Seattle.

The Pancake Chef is a small restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch! Known for their breakfast they haven't failed yet! Their food is plentiful and delicious! There is no other breakfast place around so it attracts both locals and visitors! Be aware though that if driving the parking lot is very narrow and could pose a problem for bigger cars. Great Place for Morning Breakfast and Coffee!!!

This place was crazy busy when we got there and from what we've heard, that's the norm. The parking lot was full but we parked in the next one over and walked. The outside looks rough and it makes me feel like I'm in a sketchy part of town (not entirely untrue) and like the inside is going to be gross. It was surprisingly well-kept! I don't remember the exact food we both ordered but we loved it! The menu is very well-rounded with something for everyone, including people who maybe want something a little different (like crepes or banana pancakes). The service was impeccable - they seem like a well-oiled machine.

My daughter and I are here before going to the airport. The waitress went out of her way to help us. She brought a sample of the blackberry compote for my daughter to sample and asked the chef to slice a fresh peach for her crepes. The crepes were wonderful. Many diners had the german pancake which looked amazing. We will stop here again.

The location is near the car rental by the airport. The food is very good and the service very personal. The need to change the coffee brand they use or put more coffee in the pod.

Our waitress was very nice. That's the only good thing I can say. The gal who seated us was rude. Food vastly overpriced for what you get. $13 for 3 pancakes with nothing else. You can see the menu online-it's way too expensive for what you get. If you pay $20 for a meal you expect it to have several parts to it. Hashbrowns were undercooked- and you get about a 1/4 cup of them. Biscuits were of the frozen reheated variety (waitress confirmed). Their soda machine was even broken. No idea how this place is so popular. I'll stick with pancake house thank you.

Got the german pancake it was really good. Crapes with straberry was good and the special was homemade corned pork hash that was awesome!

Locals eat here. The restaurant was full, but service was well organized so I did not have a wait. I had the roast beef hash. It was mildly spiced but went well with my eggs and pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly! Would eat here again.

I wasn't impressed or blow away at all. Very small portion on a chicken fried steak and Hash browns tasted like they came from a box. Pancakes were ok but not memorable.

I've been here a couple of times and always get the same thing so i don't nkow hw good the rest of the food is. The workers take forever to get things to you.

Before writing my review, I read several of the others that posted issues. Maybe this restaurant improved as we have nothing but praise. It was well run, as diners left their tables, it was cleaned and reset for the next diners. We had breakfast here two days in a row as it was excellent. On June 18 & 19th we found this restaurant via our Garmin. Parking does fill up during breakfast of lunch time but there’s no issue as there’s parking all round this location. On June 18, 2015 we arrived around 10AM and seated upon entry. My wife ordered coffee while I had a diet coke—I like chocolate milk but usually it’s whole milk so I just avoid that issue. The coffee arrived in thermos type craft–great as there’s no waiting for refills. My diet coke was refilled with asking. ALL of the staff were freiendly and helpful. My wife orded two fried egges, hash browns, bacon and toast. I ordered the omelet with swiss cheese and bacon, home fries and toast. Everything arrived as ordered and was hot! Our waitress made sure that we needed nothing. On June 19th, we arrived around 11AM. Since it was a Sunday, it was busy and took about 10 minutes to be seated. The staff does a complete turn around of the table. It’s like clock work to watch them clean up and set the tables. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict which was excellent. She said the three slices of ham was too much–I felt sad for her. I ordered the cheddar cheese omelet with bacon–lots of bacon! Drinks were a repeat of yesterday with no issues. Again, we were checked several times to make sure we had what was needed. We cook breakfast usually every day. I make thin omelets and The Pancake Chef’s were almost a carbon copy of mine–with the same great service. So if you need breakfast at any time, we highly recommend The Pancake Chef!

This is an "Off Broadway" type place that serves up reasonably priced, good, non fussy food. if u need glitz & glamor go elsewhere!

I'm a lover of the great American greasy spoon. I try as many as I can. I had been looking forward to trying Pancake Chef. I was completely disappointed. I ordered the "HOMEMADE CORNBEEF HASH" with "country potatoes", sourdough toast, and poached eggs. All three were truly awful. The Cornbeef Hash was anything but homemade I'm absolutely certain it was from a can and the portion was tiny. The country potatoes were just barely cooked, served lukewarm and the portion was stingy, Worst of all was the poached eggs! They demonstrated a complete lack of any cooking skills. It was obvious they had been prepared in some kind of mold. So they were in fact NOT poached. This genuinely awful meal, which should have been very easy to get right, cost $16. The only good things were the server was very pleasant and they left a carafe of coffee on the table.

Walking into Pancake Chef is a bit like going through a time warp. The decor and atmosphere is reminiscent of a 70's diner. But don't let the looks fool you, this is a seriously good spot for breakfast. Of course, they have a huge pancake variety on the menu. The Blueberry Pancakes are delicious, fluffy, topped by a warm blueberry compote, and the serving is huge. The short stack is a great option. All the meals we've had here are so good, the service is friendly and efficient, and they leave a big pot of awesome coffee on your table. Just fantastic!

The food was great. Large portions, priced fairly, friendly waitstaff, and fast service. I couldn't have asked for any better. This will definitely eat here every time I'm in the area!

Had an early morning airport pick up so our party wanted a quick breakfast before heading toward home. Had some reservations about eating here from reading other reviews but glad that we stopped in. 😀 It might have been because we arrived at 6:50 a.m. on a weekday, but the service was exemplary and the food turn- around was very efficient. I especially enjoyed the melt in your mouth crepes. Yum! Outside signage might be off-putting because some might consider it dated. Additionally, when we visited there was road construction around the establishment. Ambience is authentically retro. 👍 Our waitress was extremely friendly, and interestingly used numerous Hawaiian words such as "ohana" and "mahalo" while interacting with us??? Prices are very reasonable. If in area in need of breakfast, we'd return. Still thinking about those delicious crepes.

Lots to choose from but since it is called Pancake Chef, I had the sourdough pancake and friend had the blueberry pancakes. I prefer the blueberry pancakes. They also provide 4 different kind of syrups to go with your pancake and lots of butter.

Had seen reviews of this place and decided to check it out. The pancakes were ok, but the omelette we ordered left a little to be desired

Open from 6am to 3pm, the food is good, and, as the name says, a few different kinds of pancakes, if that's your thing. The daily special offering didn't change when I ate there. There are also some "blue plate" specials listed on the menu, but I didn't eat anything but breakfast. Seems like they'd be okay though.

I have now been to Pancake Chef twice now! Both times have been wonderful. They really have a well oiled machine. Lots of staff to ensure efficiency. I didn't have the German pancake last time, but did this time. Unbelievably yummy! The homemade lemon sauce for it was devine too! Fresh squeezed oj! Lots of things to choose from. If your into breakfasts.. Be sure to give this place a go.

Awesome breakfast, great service, diner style, comfort food and lot of it. Coffee was free and meal was moderately priced. I will eat there again.

If you love crab, I recommend the crab omelett. It is filled with crabmeat and cheese and so delicious. It's close to the rental car return at Sea Tac so you can have a quick breakfast and still catch your plane with time to spare. The staff are friendly, and the service is fast. It looked like a place that the locals frequent, a great place.

We were on a family trip to Seattle and this restaurant is within walking distance from the Tukwila light rail station. Great local small town feel and we loved the fact that not much had been updated since 1962 except the orange juice machine. Best orange juice, squeezed right in front of you by a large machine with one guy who's job is to do nothing but fill it with oranges. (The kids nicknamed him "oranges" for the duration of our meal). The only bad part is that it goes into a large white bucket which at first is a little alarming. They serve simple breakfasts with pancakes, or eggs and hash browns. We got the kids to try something new in the banana pancakes with honey-coconut syrup and the hash browns were perfect. The blueberry pancakes were average, but everything else was really good. Service was excellent. Prices were a little higher than I expected, it averaged $10 per person. A stack of 3 pancakes is $8 and a stack of 5 is $8.29 with no sides.

Great breakfast - Very quick friendly service. This is the best breakfast stop in Seattle area. When ever we are in the area this is our breakfast stop.

The food was good. People were friendly and we liked the feel of an older diner. It has character. We could tell they have their regulars by a sign on the door saying a person could stay for a maximum of 2hrs. Plus the server called her customers by name.

Very clean and friendly restaurant. Food was delicious...had great eggs Benedict, pancakes and omelets. Very tasty coffee too! They also have a discount for age 55 and older.

An old time pancake house.Generous portions good service are all part of the deal. The food is always good. A nice place for breakfast. .

My husband, son and I are in Seattle to tour DigiPen in Redmond. We found the Pancake Chef our first morning. My son had the apple fritters (the 6 large fritters were too many for him). I had pancakes and my husband the Mexican omelette. We went back this morning since it was good and reasonably priced. The German pancake with lemon sauce was worth the extra few minutes wait. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, coffee plentiful and location convenient. The only minus is the decor. It is quite outdated but somehow adds to the charm. Don't let the appearance turn you away! It was worth the chance.

We just happened to pass by this little mom and pop cafe coming from the airport. Obviously a local favorite as it was extremely busy. Waited just about 5-10 minutes though before seated. The atmosphere is def vintage, but very clean. Service was fine, but the food was excellent! We all ordered pancakes and they had a variety of syrups to use. My favorite item on the menu was the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Don’t snooze on this place!

We stopped in for a late breakfast and we walked away stuffed. I got pancakes She had fritters The serving sizes were huge and the food was very good.

Found this place before my flight back to KY. Very surprising results. Country fried steak, was dead on. Even the gravy was great. Pancakes are good. Overall great place to eat. Staff was very accommodating.

Dang…the bacon waffle was delicious! Almost made me wanna slap my face with my tongue! Berry and apple syrup could’ve been sweeter though (had to add some sugar). Husband liked his pancakes too! Waitress was sweet and gave very good service. Haven’t been out to breakfast in a while so I guess prices have increased just like at the grocery store, bummer…senior breakfast’s use to be a great value.

Stopped in from early morning flight into Seattle. Well worth the stop. Be prepared to wait for the German pancakes!

Had to be at SEA-TAC for a 1:30 pm Saturday flight, so brunch seemed a good idea. We found several options near the airport - including a number of chains. But - this place intrigued us and we liked that it's easy to get to from the I-5, the 405, the 99 or the 509, under 10 minutes from the airport. We arrived around 10 a.m. to find a line & told there was a 20 minute wait. True to their word we were seated with menus and water 20 minutes after we walked in. Staff is busy-busy yet friendly and responsive to all our questions and requests. We choose the Senior Plate (pancakes, one egg, hash browns, bacon, juice) and the Eggs Benedict. The combo was good but - I'd order the Bennies if I find myself there again. Definitely a true Americana Diner and ya can't beat that!

I always ask for extra crispy hash browns and most often don't get what I ordered. The Pancake delivered great EXTRA crispy hash browns along with a great eggs. Good coffee was a plus. My only suggestion would be to also offer RAW sugar packets.

Came here for breakfast last week with a couple girlfriends. We had just spent the night at a horrendous hotel so we were happy to escape that misery and get some good food. This was a few minute drive away, and we were so glad we came here! I ordered an egg dish with bacon and banana pancakes. My girlfriends got similar dishes. The waitress was super nice and patient with us considering we were the types of diners who asked questions about a few dishes, swapped this for that, ordered things on the side etc. Prices were good for the quality of food - I think just under 15$ per person. It was a home-y atmosphere, very family friendly but surprisingly quiet for a diner (noise level). Overall very enjoyable experience! Thank you for feeding us your delicious food, and turning our day around.

We stopped here to eat breakfast while we were on vacation. The country fried steak is amazing. The stuffed French toast is also amazing. Our service was a little poor but the food made up for it. ! I would go again !

Got A special that included bacon eggs and blueberry pancakes. It was average at best. The pancakes were rubbery and the egg was Okay.

After waiting 15 minutes to get into this ratchet wax, Io0 Endure the worst breakfast experience in recent memory. I can't believe this place is still open after 60 + years. It has gone way downhill and is just crap anymore. First of all, not a single meal was served hot. The pancakes were so cold and old that room temperature wwhipped butter didn't even begin to melt on them. They were dry and heavy. The crates were about the same. Pasty, undercooked flat things with way too much vanilla in them serve with and fruit on top. The chicken-fried steak was absolutely the worst. A hand flattened mystery meat covered and wet flower paste that they didn't even bother to fry. This was covered in the lamest attempt at country gravy I think I've ever seen. See you in runny flavorless. Over-cooked dry old hash browns just south of being burnt and ridiculously chewy. The only reason I gave this place to stars is cuz they offered fresh squeezed orange juice that wasn't bad. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would rather die at IHOP then walk back into this place again

We enjoyed our breakfasts there today. We had French Toast with blueberries and Cranberry-Nut pancakes. They serve breakfast and lunch, closing at 2:45 p.m. While the restaurant has been there for many years, it is in good condition and clean and is busy every day. Service is good, and we thought the food was quite tasty. The menu is very extensive and prices are in line with other restaurants—there are plenty of choices for most all budgets. We will return! It is Accessible and Parking was adequate.

Update,Chicken fried steak was hideous as well. Undercook fried dough served at close to room temperature, Same with the hash browns. I hope I never get dragged back to this Hole. Fresh-squeezed O.J

Typically visit here when in the area - and again it was fine - service is good, hot tea is hot and the blueberry pancakes are very good. Nothing fancy, just good. Older men meeting to discuss issues and drink coffee

This local restaurant, located near the Dollar Car Rental return near the Sea-Tac Restaurant, has delicious breakfasts in a no frills 1950's atmosphere, Good food, great service and a step back in time.

Although this restaurant is NOT on Military Road, but rather on Pacific Hiway, just North of SeaTac Airport, it is still the best pancake house in which I have eaten. I've eaten there for years, ever since tasting the scrumtuous home cooked breakfasts, which never are skimpy. The atmosphere is warm and caring, and the workers and owners are extremely friendly and inviting. They even have "clean" books available to purchase for the children of travelers, if they care to purchase them. The front of the restaurant is deceivingly simple, and not elegant , so it is a very pleasurable surprise to find the food and service within is absolutely the best you can find. I say this after eating in nearly every state. Pancake Chef is the best. I would take anyone from any walk of life to eat there, and indeed, I have. Noone has yet been disappointed.

Attentive friendly service. Large flavorful omelette with homemade chili by special request. Perfect bacon side. Nice biscuits. Good hash browns. Reasonable prices. Not much atmosphere but food is good.

A throwback diner atmosphere that was fun… late 1950s. Same dining room. Great breakfast! Try the banana wrapped crepes. Excellent…

Stopped in here fresh of the plane, hungry and ready to have a good breakfast. It is not fancy and is right out of the 50's, you can tell that from the signage and the menu. A large pancake selection and great egg dishes. Our waitress was great and I think tht lady can balance eight plats on her arms. She was wnderful. If you are flying into Sea-Tac early, stop by Pamcake Chef.

We had a great breakfast with home made hash browns, crisp bacon and fresh squeezed orange juice. Our friendly server was the owner's daughter. Lucky find while traveling!

After securing a rental car from SeaTac, we immediately started looking for food on our way to the Museum of Flight. We stopped in at the Pancake Chef and the two of us had breakfast, which DID include pancakes! We were seated as soon as we entered, which was probably around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning. The food was good, normal breakfast fare and the service was friendly. If in the area, we would stop in to the Chef for some vittles.

A must go. Every aspect is like a good old fashioned hometown dinner. Loved the service, atsmosphere, people and food. Doesn't look fancy but I Is yummy and great place.

Pretty non-descript place frequented mainly by locals so you know its gotta be good. Nothing fancy, but the breakfast is good and they serve it all day. Wife had the corned beef hash and loved it. Potato pancakes for me... perfect! This looks like it will be my go to breakfast place when passing through Seatac.

Everything was spot on ~ biscuits and gravy, juice, eggs, country potatoes. Service was excellent, staff so pleasant and prices were very good! Wish we lived closer to visit much more!

On a long connection at the airport, met a friend and found the old-school joint. Wasn't sure from the outside, but once inside I was happily consuming piles of food! Had a bit omelet that was quite good, with fresh vegetables inside. They did it right. Would go again!

Perfectly located to the airport for a no frills diner. Pancakes were good. Fresh Oj was good. Hasbrowns and Hash were delish.

This is simple, hearty, well-made fare served in a friendly atmosphere that values the OVER 55 crowd as well as anyone else. It's close to 154th Street in Burien, a mile N of the airport off International Boulevard. Does not take AMEX, but prices are good, food plentiful and hot. Terrific soup: a favorite of mine is Navy Bean/Bacon. Done well, equivalent to the US Senate dining room or better. I eat there as a treat when I have a car, and I don't tell my endocrinologist.

Staff was friendly, service was fast, food excellent. Eggs were cooked right (over medium), coffee was fresh. Waitress was very friendly

Went here for breakfast with my daughter. It had been a few years since we had been. This old classic is always good we had great service and very good food both of our meals were yummy and cooked perfectly I loved the omelette and hash browns surprisingly enough the buttermilk pancakes were not the best. Still great place for breakfast and I'm always happy.

This non assuming place had delightful waitstaff and delicious food! Was here with a friend but great for family too! Great portion and the thick cut bacon hit the spot! You know it's a grey place when you are dining with the locals!

Earlier today—after I rolled out of bed shortly after 8 am, and after the usual drama about getting to the airport in time, along with Terry’s typical threat to call a cab if we didn’t leave the house by EXACTLY 8:20 so he could reach the airport in time to catch his 10:56 flight to Boston, etc., etc.!!—we finally arrived at SeaTac shortly after 9. Whew!! Just as Terry had so accurately predicted, traffic on Aurora was miserable—hence, his wise decision to get out of the house by 8:20! As I unloaded him at JetBlue departures, he suggested that I have breakfast at a restaurant near the airport before returning home, thus increasing the likelihood that I would travel through downtown Seattle way AFTER the peak of Seattle’s seemingly never-ending rush hour. Once again, Terry had come up with a brilliant plan! And when he offered to PAY FOR breakfast [which he still owes me for!], how could I refuse?? So I immediately searched TripAdvisor for a nearby restaurant, and lo and behold, I stumbled upon the Pancake Chef—a solid “Very good” restaurant—which had received mostly “Excellent” and “Very good” TA reviews, and only one “Terrible” review by Becca513 from Tacoma. She was obviously having a very bad day back in May 2012 when she decided to write her one-and-only—but extremely nasty—TA review! How can you take someone like that seriously anyway?? As soon as I spotted the very cool, retro “Pancake Chef” sign from afar, I knew that I had arrived at the perfect spot for breakfast! I was soon to learn that the Pancake Chef has been around since 1959, which is nearly 57 YEARS! WOW!! And get this: my wonderful waitress Barb has worked there for 35 YEARS!! AWESOME!! [These days, who stays in a job for more 10 years?] The friendly hostess allowed me to seat myself anywhere, and I chose a comfortable booth in the front section. Barb appeared shortly thereafter with a menu. As soon as she had informed me that a “Pancake Sandwich”—my all-time favorite breakfast indulgence!—was on the menu, my mind was immediately made up! She then brought me a cup of hot coffee with a stainless-steel carafe full of coffee. For starters, I had a small glass of fresh-squeezed OJ, which was deliciously reFRESHing! My Pancake Sandwich arrived with three pancakes, a generous amount of crisp bacon spread beneath the top pancake, and one egg cooked over-easy (how else??) on top. [This was a departure from how a Pancake Sandwich is typically prepared, with the eggs and bacon sandwiched between just two pancakes.] To accompany the Pancake Sandwich, Barb provided me with an assortment of syrups (not only maple, but also blueberry and apricot), and several small tubs of whipped butter. The result was a perfectly prepared Pancake Sandwich, which was richly satisfying and just the right amount! Pancake Chef is reminiscent of the way Denny’s USED TO be, before it deteriorated to its current mediocre state. The décor has probably changed very little over the years, with ample seating throughout. The booths are comfortably broken-in, with slight tears on some of the fabric, which simply adds to the character of the place. Music playing softly in the background seemed to be from a bygone era. Because I was there around 9:30 on a Wednesday morning, the place wasn’t very busy: just two or three young couples, several guys seated alone using their smart phones, a small group of ladies who had been dropped off by a van from their retirement home, and a couple of retired guys having coffee and reading newspapers. [Note: I wasn’t eves-dropping, but I did happen to overhear one of the guys ranting about how one of the democratic political candidates was a “communist”!] Barb proved to be the perfect waitress: friendly, but not OVERLY-friendly; attentive; and efficient. Her 35 years of experience at the Pancake Chef are very obvious! Because the menu is extensive—with plenty of breakfast and lunch options to choose from—I will definitely be back, with Terry in tow, after he returns from Boston. I certainly hope that he enjoys the Pancake Chef as much as I did!!

If you’re picking up someone at SEA-TAC instead of waiting in the cell phone lot go to pancake Chef! This place has been here forever or 1959 whichever came first, which means the food is good and so is the coffee, which makes it a good spot to hangout at if you’re going to SEA-TAC!

I chose to eat at the Pancake Chef because I'd seen it while riding by on the nearby light rail line. It's a quick walk from the Tukwila International Boulevard station. I knew they were operating at limited capacity during COVID-19, and I wasn't sure if there would be a wait on a Sunday morning. Fortunately I was able to get in right away. Service was quick, and my meal was mostly tasty. I ordered ham and eggs, hash browns, rye toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee. Everything was excellent except the coffee, which was weak and stale. In a city that prides itself on coffee, I really expected better, and it's the coffee that keeps this from getting the highest possible rating.

I'm not sure if this place was ever that good. I've been here several times in the last 30 years and the last time I went it was just flipping hideous. The Crepes had to be 3/8 of an inch thick or some sort of gooey strawberry crap on them. I can't even remember what I ate it was so bad. Wait! Yeah it was the eggs benedict overcooked eggs find Chewy English Muffins with an absolutely poisonous cheese sauce on top. I don't think I'll ever be going back here because he's people just lost whatever they had in the first place. One extra star because my dogs liked their bacon

Dont Ever Go Here The Customer Serivce Is Horrible The People Are Extremly Rude To You And Treat You Like Garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because of the COVID-19 economic impact, we specifically wanted to go to a local restaurant instead of one that is part of a large chain. We decided to stop for breakfast at The Pancake Chef. First of all, we didn't get much of a greeting on entering. The man at the register didn't even glance up. First impressions is that this is a "has been" restaurant, badly in need of an remodel and upgrade. The carpet is filthy and probably original to the place. A waitress dropped a bunch of salt and pepper paper packets on the carpet and proceeded to pick them up off the dirty floor and put them back for use. My breakfast was literally uneatable. The eggs were rubbery. The sourdough pancakes sounded good on the menu but were awful. The syrups came to the table in small open carafes with NO lids -- really?! Gross unsanitary condition even without a pandemic. We will NEVER return. Yuck!

Loved the hot breakfast. Gluten free pancakes were a little glue-like, but I was happy to have the option and I think most gluten free pancakes aren't great. The menu is quite large and has an awesome variety. For example, you can get crepes and cheese blintzes and traditional breakfasts. I can't wait to go back to try the blintz. Coffee is on the weak side. I'll probably drink my coffee before I go next time.

Food: typical breakfast (pancake) house Service: OK Ambiance: typical old-school American breakfast diner Decor: Typical no fuss restaurant Location: hidden away next to a rundown shopping center We expected to be an extraordinary breakfast restaurant but it did not live up to its reputation. Everything was just average. Had to do it once...

This restaurant near SEA TAC airport was packed. They specialize in breakfast and have a large variety of dishes. I selected the special roast beef hash and was disappointed by the dish. My wife had Eggs Benedict and really enjoyed the dish. I saw huge cinnamon rolls, German Pancakes, and several omelettes that looked fantastic. I should have ordered one of those.... Seems to be family run. The staff were slow, but that was understandable due to the large crowd.

Reminiscent of the original Dennys, or any other 50's style breakfast joint. Food was ok, nothing outstanding. Found hair in scrambled eggs. Was given a fresh plate. Good table service. Friendly people.

The Pancake Chef is a wonderful breakfast spot conveniently close to the SeaTac airport. Our waitress was very nice and service was quick despite the restaurant being extremely busy. I ordered the Sunshine Pancakes with Orange sauce and a side of bacon and was quite impressed.

This restaurant is a little fallback in time, definitely a feeling of a 1960s or 1970s breakfast restaurant - it's not a theme restaurant, it just has some of that vibe. My daughter and I each tried some of the pancakes and I'm sorry to say that neither of us liked them. A bit dry and a bit off in flavor. I hate to write bad reviews because I was only there once and maybe they were having an off day, but a restaurant named Pancake Chef should specialize in this.

This place is right next to the airport. I live 20 mins away, but if I want a good breakfast I'll visit Pancake Chef. My usual is a side order of homemade corn beef hash, and a baby German pancake dusted with powdered sugar, with a side of lemon, and butter, with three different flavors of syrup. My husband likes the fruity crepes and he loves the thick crispy bacon. I've been there twice this week already! Family owned, good service.

Breakfast and service were good. Large menu with options available for everyone. Coffee pot left on the table so you can refill when your cup is empty and not have to wait for refills. Inside is a little dated and could use new finish on the chairs, but it was clean. Food was delivered hot and quite tasty.

this place is really buried and hard to get to. You have to make a few twists and turns to get in to their parking lot. I've stopped there a few times for breakfast before I return my rental car and fly out of Seatac. I've only gotten breakfast but all of the other food looks good. they always have 4 daily specials running and the dishes all look good. I'll stop when I have time. service is always good. typical diner type setting.

Breakfast is a hard row to hoe in the restaurant trade. Especially a breakfast place near a major international airport such as Sea Tac in Seattle, WA. People are wary of a non-franchise restaurant because such places might not have the culinary standards the chains that they're familiar with do. The restaurants closest to the airport get a huge turnover in customers, ones that go there once and may never return. In the case of The Pancake Chef, the customers were locals. Eating where the locals eat is usually a very good indication of good food and good value. The Pancake Chef is larger than it's street appearance, that serves more than just pancakes, and whether or not you are getting on a plane, this is where you need to get breakfast. When my husband said yes to "coffee?" a hot potful of it was immediately placed on our table. I ordered my typical eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and wheat toast. My husband ordered the pancakes. Our meals arrived very promptly despite the many other customers. It was literally more than I could eat. Four large rashers of bacon, a LOT of hash browns, perfectly cooked eggs. I must mention their 'Fresh Squeezed Juice". Yes. They have a juicer and fresh fruit, so you can't get it fresher than that!! The Pancake Chef is an older restaurant, but is clean, clean, clean. The bathrooms, especially, were spotless. Their menu cover is retro, with a caricature of a chef from the time they opened in 1951! It's a bit hard to get to in that it's atop a small hill. Parking is ample but it's not immediately obvious how to enter the lot. Turn onto the side road and make an immediate left turn into the lot.. The service was cheerful, prompt and friendly. The cooks were on the ball, with everything coming in perfectly. Portions were more than ample and prices very reasonable. When I fly, I do so out of Sea Tac. Now I know where to get breakfast before getting on the plane.

Not very far from SeaTac airport. They are celebrating 60 years! Definitely, it is a diner. We ordered chicken fried steak with eggs, ham omelet and a burger with fries. The food was good. The servers were friendly.

Delicious breakfast. Waiting time not long. Opens at 6 am. Reasonable prices. 5 min walking distance from Travelodge hotel. Highly recommend this place

The fruit waffle at Pancake Chef was simply amazing. As big as your plate, the waffle came with your choice of compote and generous amounts of heavy whipped cream. I ordered the apple compote and was pleasantly suprised to find that even with the cream and fruit, all in all the waffle wasn't too overly sweet. The cream was a perfect texture, the compote wasn't too syrupy, and the apples were cooked but still crunchy. The entire waffle plus one egg was enough to fill me up for most of the day and was reasonably priced. I'd definitely go again when visiting Seattle.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. It appears to be an area icon judging from the group of old timers I joined at 5:45AM waiting in line for the doors to open. This is my second time having breakfast at this affordable place. The food is good, hearty and plentiful. They have the kind of career waitresses that know and enjoy their job and whom make your dining experience much more enjoyable and satisfying. Inside is big and clean and they open the doors at 6AM sharp according to the regulars.

Try the German pancake for something different. Good food. Good service. A nice local place. Two minutes from SeaTac. You could walk it if you wanted.

Yes, it's true. There are still restaurants serving great Reuben sandwiches! Packed with filling and grilled to perfection, this rendition is to die for! It's the kind of sandwich that demands you put away your calorie counter and forget your low sodium diet. When you're really hungry for a great, old-fashioned sandwich, head straight for the Pancake Chef!

Wait was short. Pancakes were delicious. Service was warm, efficient and professional. Syrup was . . . REAL syrup . . . something I've become obsessive about . . . Not too easy to park, but well worth the struggle. We've been traveling throughout the western states for the last 6 weeks and this was definitely our best breakfast of the trip.

I've got a wheat allergy. I was excited to find a place, while visiting Seattle, that had gluten free pancakes and waffles. Crisp, light and tastes like waffles I had as a kid. They are the best I have ever eaten!

I was looking for a late lunch after landing at SeaTac and before starting a longer drive, and this place is one of the restaurants closest to the SeaTac rental car facility. I loved the mid-century vibe and open kitchen and service counters diner-style. While there's the usual 'please wait to be seated' sign, I appreciated that the waitress let me choose my own table from those available. I had a hard time choosing from the menu, I bet there are lots of delicious things there, but I ended up with the french toast (served with lots of butter, yay :) and a caddy of a variety of syrups) and country potatoes with green onions, and they were both delish. The waitress was a complete pro and you get the feeling this is a place that has several long-time employees. Loved it and would visit again!

Eat here after staying at a SeaTac hotel following a late flight. It has been in business 57 years according to the menu, and the decor hasn't changed since it opened it appears! You are walking back into the 1950s. Open for breakfast and lunch only. The menu has your typical breakfast options, all with either pancakes or hash browns. Good and filling

We are always looking for fun restaurants off the beaten path, and this one definitely fits! The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had banana pancakes with the most unique coconut honey syrup ever. My husband hasn't enjoyed pancakes in ages, but they had a gluten free option that actually tasted awesome and had amazing texture - which is pretty hard to do. The waitress was very nice, and our service was quick and on-point. The food was very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be coming back!

When there is a line into the restaurant, you know it has to be good. The service was spot on, you're seated by the host with water upon arrival at your table and the food is spectacular. If you have a chance, try the Beefeater Omelet with Jalapenos. My taste buds were having a moment! If your order toast, the white bread is some of the best I've ever had.
Oh so good.
Okay. It's old, it's kitschy, and it's are work is horrid. The good, however, is great. Potato pancakes, homemade hash an dummy everything adds to the delight. The service is one-star and it takes a while to get your food. It's a good time and good food.
