The menu is a bit confusing. The guy at the counter seemed happy to explain it to me. I went at a slow time, so he was able to take the time to explain. I picked 2: (1) 1/2 order of Mediterranean Chicken & Quinoa Salad, & (2) 1/2 order of Butternut Squash Ravioli They were both pretty good, but I liked the ravioli better than the salad. I tried to sign into their WiFi, but Google wouldn't let me because something was wonky about the signal.

Got out of the I-5 traffic and stopped here for a quick meal before my flight out of PDX. Grilled chicken avocado panini brought me back to life after a long weekend of partying. Convenient, I'd come back here again.

Panera was very good for a quick dinner, after a long day. I enjoyed a new vegetarian item: the Mediterranean Grain Bowl, which was filling and packed with tasty brown rice and quinoa, arugula, red grape tomatoes and feta cheese, and had some hummus and Greek yogurt on the side.

Panera is Panera everywhere. Friendly staff, good, fresh food. A nice choice when staying near the airport.

The food is always fresh and served fast. Management is nice and this place has a drive thru. There are always people here but things get done in a timely manner with a smile.

All right, so I was in here on a few different occasions - two times at night, once in the day. Right of the bat - I'd say go in the evening - after say 6:00 p.m. Mainly, I desired quiet and solitude which was delivered during nighttime hours - not during the mid-morning experience. I arrived at Panera Bread via a bus line. Yes, there is a bus line #6 which comes up to the cafe, and gets you out of the 'city.' Phew. What I didn't realize, however, is that I'd arrive at a cafe right smack in concrete dungeon filled with - department stores, N, S, E, W and loads, loads, loads of vehicles! It was quite overwhelming to be witness to such a concrete jungle! How do people 'live' this way? *shrug* Not really 'living' if you ask me, but, rather, 'slaving.' Anyhow, once I entered into Panera's Cafe, it quaint. Yes, Panera is an American chain that is on both Coasts - East and West. This location I am sure brings much light to an otherwise Dead End Day for most people after a long day in the 'concrete dungeon' which is housed in the larger 'concrete jungle.' Prices are fair - I ordered what appeared to be a 'bottomless tea' for $2.09 USD total. So, refills (or, so I was told) are included. The tea is self-service, and elected to dine in, each time. There were about 8 selections of 'tea' all located in glass jars which indicated flavors. You pick the tea up with a little pair of tongs. So, that was nice! One oddity, that I always find to be annoying: I had to state, "I'm dining in" and I had to *ask* for a mug! I mean, I stated, "dine in." Would you not give me a mug, then? Twice, I was offered a paper looking cup to "dine-in"? This is very, very common in America, both stating "dine in" and asking for a dine in ware. Everything was clean - the mug, table, floors etc. So that was nice. The place appears to attract people of any background financially, but is very clean regardless to who comes in! I also liked that there was no 'key code' or 'key' to use the restroom. I find this to be incredibly annoying in many coffee/tea places in 'the City of Portland.' Even some grocers. Surveillance wise, yes there was a camera nearby (they are the little dark round balls on the ceilings at grocers and tea shops etc.). But, I didn't feel overly invaded, personally. Everyone working was very relaxed and no one hassled me while I sat for a couple hours on a laptop (there's free wi-fi). Seating is ample and not a single time I was in here did I feel crowded, whatsoever! There's an outside patio, which is odd because Panera Bread is literally squeezed in between several department stores and parking lots. So, who would desire to look at cars while dining outside? Strange. One minor nuance - well, kind of major - Panera Bread serves Pepsi and Mountain Dew! Eeeek! So, you can bypass that element if you desire, but just be aware - it's there! The time during the day I was on a laptop, there were a few 'moms' with children - high chair age? I have no idea of the age of a child using a high chair! So, headphones were in while the child screamed all during the person's breakfast. I don't desire to comment on the menu, as I didn't try the food. There were breads and pastries, which I glanced over. This does appear to be a chain, so be mindful of asking questions around the 'baking process'. Perhaps research how far the items were shipped there, etc. I'm no expert on chain bakeries, and would like to keep it that way! So yeah, free wi-fi, bottomless tea with refills, and spacious seating all made for a nice solo venture. I was actually surprised how quiet it was inside, in spite of the 'mall traffic.' Persona note: It's really sad to see that people actually 'live' this way. I mean, if you've never seen an American parking lot/mall type place - this is pretty bad news.

This place is exactly what you would want in the beginning of a day. Healthy choices, fresh produce and clean and comfortable atmosphere. Can’t ask for more.

This was my first time visiting a Panera restaurant. The atmosphere was warm & open. The restaurant was clean. Staff were friendly. Service was prompt. I got the sense that Panera seeks to fill a niche for fast, but healthy food. I would describe the offerings as healthy-ish, but not truly healthy, super fresh, unprocessed options like some other restaurants in the genre in the Portland area. I had the chili, which was all right, but somewhat Nalleys-esque. A family member had a fruit smoothie, which I tasted & found to be very sugar-y. Better to just let the mango speak for itself. For truly healthy, unprocessed, deliciously fresh foods, try the Green Salmon Cafe in Yachats or Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay on the Oregon coast.

The food is consistently good. There are lots of things on the menu to choose from. I like the addition of the blinker to let you know your order is ready. Staff are congenial and provided good customer service.

I have always loved Panera but it's getting really expensive to eat there. This is $5.39 Mac & cheese. Really?? I have to consider going to other establishments for lunch.

Whenever I fly into Portland I stop in this Panera for a quick, healthy and delicious meal! The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. Maria, the manager, jumps right in with the staff taking orders, delivering orders to tables and asking how things are. Items are fresh and great selection of foods. Keep up the wonderful service and customer friendliness.

Typical Paneras -which is very good . We like Paneras and have visited them in a lot of different cities. Always good food and beverage. No surprises and no disappointments. Nice new location in a handy location near the Airport.

Had a nice breakfast here. Friendly staff, good coffee and a great selection of cakes and pastries. Nice background music so we could sit and chill.

We do not have a Panera in our home town, so stopping by for soup & salad is always a treat when we fly out of PDX. I really like their broccoli cheese soup and turkey avocado sandwich. And I always take a carrot cake muffin to go for the plane ride. By the way, did I mention the muffin is stuffed with cream cheese frosting. The service was quick & it is kept clean.

Really a good place to eat for a light lunch or dinner. Good variety of sandwiches hot or cold. Would eat there again.

Stopped at Panera on Glenn Widing for dinner on a cold, windy Saturday night. It was not terribly busy and there was no line at all. We ordered quickly and our food was delivered to our table by two different servers, both incredibly accommodating when we asked for additional items. I especially enjoy Panera's soups and they always have many from which to choose. I chose their Chicken with Wild Rice and paired it with a turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich. The soup was excellent, thick and full of flavor. The sandwich was good but contained only one very thin slice of turkey. The bread was also good but the thickness of the bread kind of overpowered the skimpy filling. Dining companions had salads which they said were very good, along with mac and cheese. I've been to several Panera Bread locations but the one on Glenn Widing seems to be a cut above the rest when it comes to service. We'll definitely be back.

Panera Bread is one of my all time favorite places to eat because of the quality of their foods. I don't have to worry about the chemicals. However, this visit was unlike any other. It was about 6 pm, but there was only one cashier. I do believe that she was either new and in training or maybe she shouldn't be on the front counter because every single little thing confused her. We were the 4th in line. We finally get up there and ordered, but again, this time was different. When our order came, the soup was lukewarm and the sandwich really wasn't up to what we are used to. I had even ordered a drink this time and both the tea and lemonade were empty. There were several employees in the store, so not really sure why everything was so chaotic. Even the bathrooms were out of paper products. The store was empty other than those of us in line. This location is great, but hesitant to return.

Customer service is terrible. I work at a Company whose employees used to love this Panera. For some reason the quality of the people is lacking. The food orders are incorrect, the attitude of the employees is awful. We have a vegan who was a repeat customer until she received her salad with chicken in it. Twice....I placed an order from the drive up and when I got home the whole order was incorrect. None of us will be back to this store.

Stopped in for lunch today and service was quick. My soup was good as was my wife’s Tuscan grilled chicken sandwich buuut even after I asked for our table to be wiped down it was still sticky. But the most unappetizing aspect was the napkins and bread on the floor in plain view of the diners. For 15 minutes the wait staff ignored this litter and was still there when we left.

This is a typical Panera. Good service, good food--a cut above the standard operational fast food cuisine while served in a fast food manner. It has both hot and cold food choices, is heavy on the sandwich menu, and had a well stocked bakery case. The food came out quickly and correctly, the place was clean, and well staffed. We were there on a Friday night, and there was plenty of seating. This was a good place to relax after a long travel day. It is a good place to take kids should a child be open to something a little bit better than a Happy Meal. The place is near the airport hotels, and close enough to walk. Don't know that I'd enjoy the walk in an Old-Testament style downpour, but I would have been game since I had not car. The area--at least when we were there--was not overrun by vagrants, so I think you should feel safe walking to it from one of the hotels.

My experience with most Panera Bread locations is that the service and food is consistently good. This location is no exception. The menu is always confusing to me and the woman who took my order was excellent as explaining it all to me.

This Panara Bread store is fairly new. It is bright and cheery with the usual Panera menu. We enjoyed a Napa Almond chicken salad sandwich as well as a turkey cranberry flatbread sandwich. Both were tasty, prepared fresh and served promptly. The restrooms were spotless. 😊

the whole experience, nice atmosphere, great customer service, food was excellent, for me because i am not very road savvy, just a little confusing to get to. if walk its just fine.

I love all the bakery items. Like the muffie chocolate chip cookie and they have the best blueberry muffins anywhere. But when I ordered the SW chile lime ranch salad with chicken. The first time it was soooo good with lot of fresh avocado and quinoa. I like it so much that I went back and got the same salad the next day. It was hardly the same. Hardly any quinoa and lots of lettuce butts and half the dressing. I was really disappointed. I can hear the kitchen yell out we are running out of chicken soup etc. I think they could try to make everything the same but my impression is under the rush of lunch things get a little careless. I am afraid of ordering this salad again will it be missing ingredients????

Our visit to this Panera reminded us why we generally don't patronize chain restaurants. Inside the door we were greeted with....nobody. We placed our order on the tablet and went to our table. When we were called I went to the window to get the order. We had ordered coffees but didn't receive cups so I went back to the window to ask for them. The employee gave them to me without a word of any sort. The sandwiches were really substandard; I really think they would have been better at Subway, at least there would have been an employee to greet us. The ambiance was pretty depressing. Our last time in a Panera was about 11 years ago and I remember it as pretty nice with a welcoming atmosphere.

We ordered to go, but luckily decided to sit down and eat. Our order was missing crussiant, fork, spoon, pickle and butter. The toasted sandwich was buttered and warmed leaving the bread soft and a little soggy and not much meat. The salad was quite nice although 9small for the price but would have been good if it had decent dressing. The dressing ruined it, grossly sweet. The chocolate crussiant looked. Amazing but was disappointing. We will not be returning.

First visit went great. The chicken and rice soup was very good, as was the half sandwich. The lady gave me an orange scone, which my daughter loved. Second visit, was helped by a newer employee. She struggled at the register, but was finally able to get my order. When I got back to the hotel, found that I was missing an item. Not pleased, but chalking it up to inexperience.

My coworker recommended this place so we ate lunch there today. We each ordered half a sandwich with salad her order was ready right away and she was almost finished eating by the time mine was ready, about 10 minutes later. Both of our salads should have had chicken in them and didn't. We had to go back to the window and ask for it. I had the Thai chicken salad and a chipotle chicken panini. The sandwich tasted like there antiseptic in it. Based on this visit I would never eat there again. They also have a policy that if your order isn't right they'll give you a free treat but we it wasn't offered to us so we had to ask before we left. The girl at the front was super nice. The girl at the pick up window, not so nice

We enjoy eating at Panera Bread since the soups are very tasty and the bread is fresh, which is perfecting when wanting to get a sandwich to go with your bowl of warm soup. The restaurant was clean and there plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal.

I live in Florida and our Panera does NOT have a drive-thru! After 14 hours flying, air sickness, and exhaustion, I really just wanted a bowl of chicken noodle soup to eat in my room. I saw Panera across the street so I hopped in the car and went. I expected to park, go in and grab take-out, looking a feeling like a hot mess. NOPE! They had a drive-thru! Again, I am jealous and as always Panera didn't disappoint with customer service and taste.

For the past month we have been enjoying the coffee subscription. $9 per month for unlimited coffee. Tried the flat bread pizza and it was delicious.

We both had the potato soup, which was very, very good. The staff brought our meals to our table. This Panera also picks up your tray and dishes; I had all our items in my hands and couldn't find where to place them. An employee graciously took them off my hands.

First time here, it was recommended by a friend. Ordered the pick any two (soup and sandwich). The menu could have more detail, I had no idea what I was getting on the sandwich which made it difficult. The service was quick, I ended up getting the $0.99 pasty as well which was an awesome deal. The broccoli and cheese soup was really good, I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the turkey sandwich. Also my husband went to go get mustard and he got Dijon, just wanted regular yellow mustard for his ham sandwich. The dining area was really nice, I was japlly with the setting. I'd totally come back again to try something else on the menu. The salads looked really good.

This location has the same great service and food of the chain. A good location for my stay and hotel, enjoyed a couple of meals there.

Had another excellent experience at Panera Bread. This time in Portland. Quick order taking. Fast delivery of our food. Hot food. Great service and attentive server. Thank you.

I eat here at least a couple of times a month, always delicious food. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The staff is great and the eating area is always clean

I have patronized this Panera Bread three times and am impressed with the outstanding customer service that I receive every time. The employees are very courteous, positive and patient. The menu variety is great and their food is always fresh. Waiting time at the drive-up is very minimal. The prices are good. There is ample parking that is safe and open.

This was our first visit to a Panera Bread Cafe and understand that this is a new store. Plenty of parking, spacious dining area. The staff were pleasant and helpful as we found our way around the choices. The first thing we chose, they were out of. So we had the Smokehouse Turkey Sandwich and Chipotle Chicken. Food was good, not great. Mango smoothie really good. Overpriced.

My daughter-in-law and I always end up choosing Panera's! We both have our favorites - your soups are always hot & tasty and bread is so very fresh! I always leave full and HAPPY!

Just had a simple meal with soup and sandwich. What I needed. It was really fast and tasty. Nice staff too

I had heard of Panera but this was my first trip. Excellent sandwich but overall nothing out of this world.

Visiting from out of the Country and tried to place an order over the phone and they would not take the order!!! Seriously they wanted me to download an App and do it online. They were rude and even if we were to pick it up they still would not. We choice a different place. Sucks that no one can give good customer service anymore.

Sunday afternoon - not terribly busy. Placing orders was easy; meals brought to the table. we were told not to buss our table that they would do it... we re-filled beverages and continued to visit but staff ignored us and we talked over the lunch detritus. Otherwise, an uneventful experience.

Arriving in Portland at the airport, this location was perfect for lunch. Panera Bread is known for great soups and sandwiches. We weren't disappointed. However, I would have liked to have been given a choice of breads for the tuna salad sandwich but it was good. Both sandwiches were good and service was fast. This is a great location to stop. The location was convenient and clean.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with this chain of restaurants. This one was convenient to my hotel and the airport. Friendly atmosphere with a young staff and good food. I was a wonderful place for lunch.

Meet my girlfriend here every month. Always great food and the workers are awesome. They take photos for us to share!

Homemade breads, sandwiches, goodies for all. New in this location and a welcome site for visitors. Panera Bread franchise is good everywhere

Panera was close to our hotel and with an early flight, we wanted something light for dinner. Their 1/2 sandwich and soup hit the spot. property was clean and staff helpful.

I enjoyed a salad here on the night I arrived into town & was too tired to go searching for decent food. My salad was fresh and very delicious. I was able to kick back with my ice tea before checking into my hotel. I grabbed a little breakfast treat at their drive through window the next morning (after seeing what my hotel offered). Service both times were quick & friendly. Plus they got my orders correct!

Quick and easy access through drive-through. Love getting healthy food that is convenient when traveling. My 4-year-old can also find things to eat here and I don't worry about him getting poor quality food.

Not a large location but pleasant and well maintained. They have a drive thru which I had never seen at a Panera before. Service was great. The outdoor patio was nicer than average with plush seating and umbrellas. Food wasn't quite as hot as I like it.
really good food
I asked them to make and wrap special since I was going to be using this as my airplane food. They were very happy to accommodate my requests.
