Food is freshly cooked. Bread baked daily. Try the Southwestern Steak Salad with fresh baked bread! Superior food and service!!!

With a few hours to kill before our flight we decided to go to our hotel restaurant and have a long lovely lunch. We shared a bottle of wine and split a burger and grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwiches came with very good fries that were not mentioned on the menu. Our server was wonderful as were the other staff members and customers in the restaurant. I can't say how this would be at other times but it seems like a place that people can be comfortable and have a good meal.

This is a nice view a nice setting restaurant next to the marina although here is to come with time. It took 60 minutes to get a Burger. Everything here is in super slow motion. The food is O.K.

Nice place to come to relax after a long day. Good drinks and good food. We sat outside with a view of the marina. Jeremy was a great server.

Typical bar food but the staff is very good and cares. Will ensure your meal and beverage is up to what you desire. Pass on the Happy Hour wine by the glass -- quite nasty! Beer good and cold and HH options from 3 to 6 is the best time to eat in the bar.

Ordered the Steak and Frittes, very good! The bar makes a mean "Mai Tai". The waiter service was 5 star too!

If you're staying at the Hilton, or anywhere on Harbor Island, definitely stop at the Panorama! The wait staff is great, the food is amazing, and the people you will share conversation with make everything worthwhile! The roasted brussel sprouts, and chocolate lava cake are amazing! Order the Mockingbird, and if Jeremy is working, start a conversation with him. He's great! Definitely recommend it!

Stayed at this hotel for an early morning flight. Bar offered a nice selection of lighter fare and full dinners. I opted for a chicken sandwich was prepared very nicely with cheese, onions and apricot glaze. Servers were attentive and nice.

The food was excellent and very well presented. Our server Cathy, could not have been more gracious and helpful. We had the rib eye steaks served cleverly around well season mashed potatoes. The portabella and brie soup was excellent. Mostly I have found hotel restaurants lacking but this one is worth coming back to the hotel and the hotel is beautiful.

Swung by here for drinks after we flew in and we’re pleasantly surprised. Definitely a nice spot to have some drinks if your around.

Arrived at Hilton Airport Hotel where THE PANORAMA restaurant is located, around 7:30 Pm. Front desk said the restaurant closed at 9pm. The Web menu and Open table had the same time. We went down early ~8:05 pm. A waitress told us that the kitchen was closed at 8 PM! She offered no options. The Front desk Moron "Nobody told me... We have snacks" I made the open table reservation upon returning to the room. Just to see what would happen. It went through. They confirmed a reservation for ~ 8:45. They just stopped serving on a Saturday night? No sign. No one told the front desk. They didn't even block OpenTable. Lots of people in the Hilton have no transportation: rental cars returned or not picked up yet. We just had the airport shuttle to depend on. It is truly disgraceful behavior. Had we been told the Sheraton was so close we could have eaten there. Next time we can stay there too.

Arrived at the Hilton after a 12 day of flying. Had a fish and chips dinner with a tall draft. Sat outside on the water close enough to hear the life music but enjoy guilt meal relaxing. Staff was excellent and were attentive to my needs while giving me space to relax and unwind.

It is great that the hotel has a restaurant but I wish they had more options. I had one of the salads and it was average. I had a burger for lunch one day and again, average. The breakfast buffet was very good though, something for everyone. The wait staff and bartenders were wonderful.

This is a hotel restaurant and has a nice view of one of the marinas. We had a good sized crowd at about 9a for our breakfast. Service was good but not as good as I'd expect. I had the breakfast grilled cheese with fruit which is a good choice. Those who had omelets said they were good. Had to ask for water for two of our group who did not have it. I had tea and they did bring me a 2nd pot during breakfast. Great place for breakfast if you are staying there or at the marina.

Ok so maybe not what you go to an exclusive dinner venue for. But when you have been traveling and just want something simple, it’s great. The restaurant is lovely with excellent views and great staff The fine dining options were there but we chose to take a bar meal The staff were very accommodating of our request and my wife had fish and chips and I the burger. We shared the mac and cheese. Everything was great but the Mac and cheese was divine. I am a great believer in do the simple things well and this is exactly what they did. Really good place to eat. Added to the great food is the fact there is live music in the bar that drifts through and makes this a very special place

Food is Over-priced. A little bit of meat, vegetables, and avocados is $23. The restaurant needs a little remodeling.

Had 2 breakfast and one dinner here. Great atmosphere overlooking the marina. Very attentive staff. Nice presentations of the food and drink.

nice menu of variety and tastes Californian/Asian love the appetizers watching the fish in the saltwater tanks is fun nice eels great view of marina nice bar with great drink specials

The portions were large and the steak very good. The service members very very attentive to my dinner needs.

This restaurant received high ratings? I'm shocked! I've never had such poor service at a Hilton restaurant. The server was slow and in the least bit helpful. I explained my allergies and she offered zero assistance. I asked what my options were for small size portions and the server responded with," We offer the menu." I wasn't asking for something different to eat. I just needed an explanation of their size portions. Rude and unhelpful is all I can say. I handed her the menu and ate nothing. I sat with friends while they ate inadequate meals. I won't be returning. I'll walk to the Sheraton next time.

Perfect breakfast, perfect service. Eggs Benedict for 2 of us and "eggs your way" for the 3rd person. Sat along bay side with nice view. Our server (Sam, I believe) sorry if I'm wrong, he was the BEST! Very personable, friendly, just a joy to have as a server. Perky for a Monday morning. Poached eggs were a perfect medium as I like and Sister's were soft. Hollandaise sauce was good ( just a little curdled), not a big deal. Lots for fresh fruit instead of potatoes, but potatoes were very good, as I tasted another's at our table. They also have a nice looking breakfast buffet, but there's always next time. And hope we have same server.

Excellent breakfast in the hotel, fruit plate was huge and fresh. Greek yogurt was also good, plus omelet was very good.Quick and efficient staff, definitely recommend.

Great for an in hotel/on premise restaurant. The atmosphere is great, great view of the harbor, friendly staff, good food.

Excellent food, great views and the best service by waitress Georgiana! Really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend it.

Cathy is so warm and friendly and makes super drinks. I so appreciate how attentive she is. This is a great place to visit ❣

This restaurant is about a 4.5. My chicken dish was fabulous with a robust sauce, fingerling potatoes and French bread. Great service. There was nice, live folk music that played the good old tunes that bring back happy memories, John Denver, Neil Young style. A great view of the harbor at one of our all-time favorite Hiltons. We will return.

We were staying at this hotel and because of the terrible weather decided to have dinner in rather than seek out a restaurant elsewhere. It is possible to have appetizers at half price from 4-6PM in the adjoining bar area, which is what we did prior to dinner. We had nachos and teriyaki steak on a skewers. Quite decent. The dinner in the restaurant was quite good but not exceptional, pretty much what you would expect from American/Continental style restaurant food at this price. The hotel was handing out 20% off coupons which made the prices more acceptable. The view is right over the marina and quite pleasant.

Wanted to go somewhere where we didn't have to deal with an overly loud environment like the other popular restaurants off the same street of Shelter Island, and we are so glad we found Panorama!! Sat in the cozy bar area with the same incredible view others had at the louder places in the same area! Live acoustic music was being played and it was very entertaining! Food was fantastic and drinks were made perfect! Staff made us feel right at home and not once did we have to hunt down any of the staff for a need. With football game view going to the left, acoustic music playing to the right, beautiful view straight ahead, we were still able to enjoy our conversations without trying to talk over everything else! Great experience and left the Restaurant like I got the best deal on the island!!

The staff is wonderful. Jill the bartender makes yummy drinks and the new waiter, Brain A, has a phenomenal memory, remembering drinks I ordered. He is attentive, polite and very nice !!! James Gossett sings and plays on Friday evening and he is one of the BEST ❣

I had my birthday gathering last Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Sierra Pacific Restaurant and Lounge. I want to say that the service was SUPERB! I had about 18 guests between the hours of 3:30 until about 9:00pm. I want to mention all of the people who made our evening so special. First Cathy who was our server....she was AWESOME! When I first got there I met Jill who was bartending and we had a nice conversation before she went into the dinning room for the evening. I had quiet a few conversations also with the Manager Michael who was Very accommodating and friendly. I never got the male bartenders name because I was then to busy entertaining my guest's. I'm sure he was great also! I think Cathy did such a fantastic job serving all of my guests will with a smile!!!! I will definitely come back to hear Hank Easton and also come down on a Friday night to listen to your other singer. I have already told several people about this great lounge inside the Hilton Harbor Island. I am so glad there is great music again on Harbor Island!😉😉😉 Thank you for making my birthday sooo special! Michele Camarda

We had breakfast every morning and dinner one night. Over looks the marina . Pretty decent food for a hotel restaurant.

Had breakfast. Hubs was happy with the biscuits and gravy. Really good potatoes as well; sweet and also purple. Also had late room service after fireworks. Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap was good.

The restaurant closed at 9pm, so we orderd from the same menu in the bar area. There is a wide variety of food items on the menu. We had returned from a trip from Hawaii, so we passed on all the fish related items and ordered a cheesburger for myself and a grilled cheese and tomato soup for my wife. Both were prepared well. Service was adequate for the small crowd at that time. There is a nice view of the marina, and outdoor seating is available.

This is a fairly typical hotel restaurant except that the view is directly over the marina. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional wait staff. Our server Genifer was so attentive and made sure everything was perfect. She knew without asking what we needed and made sure it was there. She was assisted by Oscar who really helped out

We love the waitress Georgiana. She is very attentive to our needs and makes sure everything is right there. The food is wonderful and very good. The price is not bad at all

This small restaurant on the premises of the Hilton on Harbor Island (close to the airport) overlooks a quite pretty marina on San Diego Bay. Thus, the location and scenery, seen through large picture windows, is a plus for this eatery. Having eaten lunch here three times, one has a clear impression of food and service. The food is adequate, but not memorable. The staff is friendly enough, but service is slow and staff just seem to disappear at times. Would I be embarrassed to take guests here? No, because of the pretty setting. However, I would tell the guest that we were not going for gourmet cuisine.

Have been here since Thursday Oct 5, 2017. Have breakfast every morning and lunch once and dinner once. Food is very good and the service is great. Jill in the bar and M&M in the morning at breakfast are just 2 of the people who stand out, they are all good.

We thought we would catch a quick casual dinner in the lounge, because we just wanted something simple. We walked in, and the bar wreaked of Pinesol. Not too appetizing, so we sat outside on the deck. We were 2 of 7 people in the entire bar, but it took the bartender 5 minutes to bring a menu, another 5 to take our drink order, slow to bring them out. By then it was getting cold outside, so we moved back into "Pinesol Land". Watched the bartender as she schmoozed with her 3 guests at the bar, while our drinks were empty and she still hadn't taken our food order. She finally did, but, then 10 minutes later returned to confirm our food order. Really! Well, eventually we did get our meal, not served by her, because she was way too busy with those 3 at the bar. Food was ok, but certainly not worth the wait. Inexcusable service!

Stayed at hotel and while I know hotel restaurants are usually more expensive I was disappointed with their service . The restaurant wasn't busy and it still took at least 10 min before someone presented me with a menu and then I had to ask for a drink menu. (Wouldn't it have made sense for the server to come to my table with the drink menu ?) My server might have been new, so maybe I'll give him the "benefit of doubt" but when I had to ask for bread from a different wait staff employee , then I was getting annoyed. The food was ok , and if you order the sea scallops be sure you are not on a sodium restricted diet as the pancetta was very salty and too fatty -way too chewy to eat. (Better if it wasn't even there -in my opinion ) My meal was a green salad, sea scallops and a glass of Merlot for approx $50. I think next time I would be better off going to the "Gas Lamp" district and getting a bite there. The only saving grace was the live entertainment , which I did enjoy. So if you have to eat there , maybe you'll get a better waiter and you can enjoy the music.

The menu is pretty limited, but the quality is high. I had seared rock fish with a creamy corn and poblano rissoto. It was perfectly done. It was quiet and the service was just right. I would have expected more creative cuisine for the price though.

Ate here after a 22 hour trip from Europe. And the fish n' chips were better than those I ate in the hotel! The starter salad was also tasty. Not a lot of ambiance and reason to eat here if you are not staying in the hotel, but very solid comida if you do find yourself in this rather isolated accomodation at the SAN airport.

Hard to judge this as we only ate a breakfast(full buffet and continental buffet) and a lite snack.food and service good.Price OK,view of harbor.

My son, wife and I capped off a great trip to La Jolla at this gem of a restaurant at the Hilton. The views are incredible and service was at a level we have not experienced in the past - and my wife and I have dined at many very nice restaurants over the years. Wendy, our waitress, was wonderful and the director of the restaurant, Mr, Hutchinson, was very friendly and a true professional. We loved the live music, vibe and even got to witness a proposal right next to us. I highly, highly recommend this great restaurant to all.

I ate here because I was on business and after a long day, wanted to be at the hotel and the convenience was a huge factor. Having said that, great views of the water and Marina. The Staff are friendly and the food is decent. The diversity of the menu is lacking and again, the food is decent but not great. SD offers a ton of choices between Downtown, gas lamp, La Jolla etc. This is a good place for the business traveler and for a drink with nice views.

Well prepared dinner of delicious seafood and meat. Interesting salads and crab cake. Wonderfully fresh salmon - very popular choice. Interesting sides and fresh house made bread. Dessert of cheesecake was terrific. Strong attention to detail was perfect.

Great buffet breakfast at this hotel restaurant and worth a visit in the morning to start the day out right-- arrived too late to visit this place for dinner but, based on my experience, will certainly do this next time

Staff at both the restaurant and bar are outstanding. Breakfast menu offers many delicious choices. The bar has a great wine selection. Yummy appetizers too. The server offered an outstanding recommendation for a local dinner. Next day she competently handled almost 50 people who stopped for cocktails before a wedding reception.... without warning. The view of the marina is very relaxing.

I was at the hotel for an overnight stay. I went to here for breakfast. My eggs were cooked wrong, but they fixed it right away. The staff is very attentive. One server deserves a shout out. I came to learn they call him M&M. He was so good. Smiled all the time, greeted people with such a warm welcome and engaged everyone with a fun loving attitude. Good help is hard to find, well they found him! Thank you staff.

We visited this restaurant twice so far while staying at the Hilton hotel. I would say that the price is a bit too high, but the quality of their food and the service is outstanding. First time we ordered classic burgers and a Mac and cheese for my toddler. The burgers were good, but the Mac and cheese was another level of good. Second time we ordered salads and soup (the tomato soup was also very good). Service at this location is a solid 5 stars. Waiters/waitress were all very polite and efficient. I highly recommend, specially for those days one is tired to get out of the hotel to get food somewhere else.

I had low expectations, but this place blew me away. The staff was perfect, the ambiance is great, and the food was amazing. The tofu/herb sauce that came on the side of my dish was super tasty.

Everything was excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant. The steaks are so tender and delicious. I was surprised at the attentiveness of the waiters and waitresses also. If you want to be treated well in a restaurant this is the place to go.

This restaurant is located in the Hilton hotel on Harbor Island, and my family of 3 decided to eat there after arriving late from a long drive. The restaurant is named the "Panorama Bar and Grill" which I believe is the Sierra Pacific Restaurant renamed. We were surprised to see how expensive all the entrees were on the limited menu. The cheapest entree was $26 for a salad, and the price went up for the other few selections. My wife and I ended up getting just a small salad each, as we didn't want to promote the high cost of the menu items on principle. After we returned to our room, I noticed the room service menu had many more items than the restaurant menu that were more reasonably priced (in the $15-17 range). I'm assuming the hotel restaurant also provided the meals for room service, so it was surprising that we didn't have the same selections available when we ate in the restaurant. It felt like the restaurant wanted to push the higher priced meals for their guests. As such, I certainly would not recommend this restaurant to the Hilton's guest or anyone else.

I try and stay at the Hilton San Diego Airport / Harbor Island when I'm in San Diego mainly for the Sierra Pacific restaurant! This place is the greatest hidden gem near the airport, or most of San Diego for that matter. Food is fresh and delicious and the service (thanks Abraham and Anthony) was outstanding! There are two $$$$ places near here and they can't even come close to this place! Don't think of Sierra Pacific as a hotel restaurant........it can easily stand on it's own! I want the salsa recipe and the chef's phone number!

I don't know which is better, the food or the staff. From the manager to the servers, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I have never had a better experience anywhere.

Came here while my girlfriend was in town. She and I had drinks during happy hour. I had the tequila sunrise and she had a tasty drink with pomegranate juice in it. During happy hour the drinks are $7, I will return here during my stay in San Diego.

Several people came to the hotel lounge after the wedding. Jill was our bartender and was not pleased to see 10 to 15 more people show up towards closing. I understand everyone wants to go home, but business is business. Please, not so grumpy next time. The manger was there as well. He wasn't happy either. Lighten up gang. It's your jobs.

Service was great. Food was hot. In and out quickly. Bonnie and Clyde (seagulls) at the door every morning for entertainment. What else could you ask for. (Other than being a gold member and getting your breakfast free!} I’m not gold by the way. Yet?!

Wow, haven't been here in a few years and the service by JEFF in the bar was outstanding! Thank yo JEFF for accommodating me.

I had the seared scallops, and my wife had salmon over a risotto of some kind (white sauce with lemon grass, I think). Mine meal was superb, as was my wife's...and she seldom speaks highly of most restaurant meals. We were both impressed with the service provided by the friendly/attentive waitress from Romania (don't recall her name).

Loved the convenience since it was part of the hotel. It had a nice bar area with great service. Friday night they had a gentleman playing live music (wish I got his name because he was awesome). The food was delicious and the service was great!

Lovely setting, looking out on the marina in scenic San Diego. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was better than we normally experience at Hilton venues. The service was friendly and very well done. Go during happy hour from 3-6 pm as several of the bar bites are good choices and the drinks are marked down. We will be back. I have had breakfast @ the Panorama Bar & Grill but never dinner....FANTASTIC!! My Ahi BLT was delicious! My husband had the Flatbread with mushrooms. We never felt rushed & could enjoy the warm fireplace & watch Sunday Night Football on the Big Screen. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The Servers are FABULOUS! Located in the Hilton Harbor Island

Menu is pretty limited and prices are very expensive. The view is great and they have some outdoor seating. There is a fee for parking. Service was pretty good. Live music was pretty good the night we were there.

I stopped in to have breakfast after dropping off family at the airport. What a great experience. My servers name was M&M. He made my day with his cheerful and bright personality along with excellent service. The food was awesome too. I had an omelette with crisp bacon cooked to perfection. The views are awesome right on the marina. We need more people like M&M in the world.

We love this bar, fabulous service by Cathy and great music on Sat evenings with Hank Easton. Check it out.

On vacation and we had tons of activities planned. We saved up so we could eat out but at the end of a couple of long days, it was easier to eat at the hotel. We were not expecting the amzing level of service or excellent food from a hotel restaurant that we received, but wow... these guys are on top of it. Andrea the hostess is as sweet as can be, Cathy was as informative about the city as she was on the ball with taking care of us at the table. And the food... MY GOD, the food. The halibut has a sauce that is insanely delicious. The ahi has a fresh taste that is unrivaled. The scallops are perfect. We had a meal for three times the price last night and I can say without question, Panorama wins, hands down, in all categories. Definitely added to our vacation.

We stopped by the bar after checking into the hotel on a Saturday evening. The bartender was very nice. The room was packed but the manager did his best to find us seating, even offering to turn on the patio heaters when we couldn't find seating in the lounge area.

Are you kidding me? Gravy on the halibut? And a horrible tasting gravy at that. Who puts gravy on halibut? This was the worst fish entree I have ever eaten, ever.

The food here was amazing! Lite, flavorful, healthy choices. The views were beautiful, the wait staff was attentive but not annoying. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied and the food was ok. We came in fairly late in the evening, and still had to make a conference at the nearby Sheraton. They took our order, brought our food and bill in a timely manner. FABULOUS Steak Salad!

This is not your ordinary hotel restaurant. The food was incredible. Don't miss the brussel sprouts. The scallops were excellent as well. Music was live from bar but a little loud. Views were very nice.

Had the soup and the crab sandwich. The staff and manager came to speak with me and there was a good crowd in the restaurant.

Had a quick buffet breakfast before heading off to the airport, Nice selection with great oatmeal and toppings. Exceptional service.

We tried all different times of the day (and enjoyed the music at nite). Good bar/pub food. Comfy seating but difficult to arrange for a group - small patio with heaters on chilly nights.

The Panorama was a nice restaurant. We had one dinner and one breakfast here during our 3 day stay. The wait staff on both visits were very nice. Food tasted quite good. View of the marina was pleasant. Convenience of having a nice restaurant in our hotel was great. The bar lounge next door was also nice.

I had two dinners and a breakfast at this hotel when staying as a guest at the Hilton. I loved the food. Everything I ate was perfectly prepared and the service was top notch. The brussels sprouts dish is something to be cherished, even if you don't like brussels sprouts. They handled my need to be gluten-free with aplomb and without issue. My only complaint is that the tables nearest the windows, which could offer nice views of the bay, are positioned in front of the wall, not the windows. So even with the great view, not only is the view obstructed, but it's frustrating.

We stayed one night at the Hilton and had both dinner & breakfast here. I made dinner reservations and we were seated by the window and watched a gorgeous sunset over the harbor and the marina. We had both the ahi tuna and the wedge salad as appetizers. Both were enormous and delicious! For entree, I had the Blue cheese/ Apple Salad. It was scrumptious and the dressing was light and really delicious. My husband had the Halibut and it was the biggest hit of our dinner. Luckily he shared part of it with me. It was spectacular, the best Halibut I’ve ever eaten. It was served on a bed of risotto (incredible) and had a scoop of tomato paste on top that I would’ve preferred it not have. Breakfast was great, too. We are Diamond members so we receive free breakfast but I was disappointed that this Hilton charges $7 extra per person (that’s not free breakfast!) to eat from the hot bar (bacon, sausage, eggs). So basically it’s free breakfast for some fruits, breads and oatmeal; a free continental breakfast. But a fine hotel doesn’t give “free breakfast” and then charge $7 for part of the buffet. That seems petty.

Great location with their breakfast buffet! Food was always fresh, warm and inviting! Their food we had over 9 days was always tasteful and yummy! Love the pulled pork sliders and the Iron Steak Salad also!

Breakfast buffet ($23) with limited options. Very nice staff, but a weird thing occurred during my meal. As soon I took my seat, waiter asked me if I wanted eggs and how I wanted. Since I couldn't find the menu and was just taking my seat, told him I wasn't ready. Started checking the buffet and grabbing some waffles, the waiter asked me again about my eggs... (like 1 minute later). So I told him I wasn't ready, and as soon as I got back to my seat, checked the menu and called him. This guy from the other corner, saw me waving and gesturing me back "2 times" and could read his lips saying " you had 2 chances" and just passed thru my table saying "I gave you two chances man, now you wait.. this is how it works...." (what?) I got so perplexed, did not even react trying to figure it out what just happened here... and then he came back repeating same thing and then ask about my eggs... ok O_O asked for the omelet, since Benedict eggs were not included in the buffet. the he came back try to chat a little asking about my trip... I just answered him politely, but asked another waiter for coffee and sauce for the omelet. Well... since other waiters weren't accounted for this particular guy... tried not to ruin my day and even left a nice tip

I had breakfast here three mornings. Nothing special, an average hotel breakfast. The bacon was very well made though, crispy and tasty. The salsa was hot and good. The scrambled eggs were "dry"- and tasted very little. The fruit was good as was the availability of good yoghurt.

Good food. Near the airport-in the Hilton Airport/Harbor Island- has take out menu- Great Marina view. Despite the large dinner party that was there, they treated us wonderfully. Everything was efficient. They gave us a good meal and took care of us courteously and promptly. The breakfasts there are good. The breakfasts might be pricey but we were hotel guests and had vouchers.

Have stayed at this Hilton many times for business. This time for pleasure as wife and I were flying back from Atlanta. We were seated and then ignored. For a long time. So we left. Have eaten here before. It was ok. Standard hotel food. And we ate for breakfast the next morning and it was good. But this anniversary dinner is one to forget. And I am a Diamond Hilton member. Guys, work on your night staff

Love the spring rolls with the tangy asian sauce. Service was awesome and super fast. Cant wait for my next meal here.

My husband and I stayed downtown for a friend's birthday celebration and met them for brunch the next morning at Sierra Pacific. The views of the marina were stunning and we loved their mimosas!

Dinner: I chose the seared salmon salad, excellent value and tasty. Salad was superb greens with variety (not that cheapie iceberg lettuce) and large -- a complete dinner. My waiter (the tall thin black guy) gave excellent, courteous, attentive service. Lovely view of terrace from restaurant window. For breakfast, I chose the full buffet: bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, and potatoes (and there's other things available, e.g. toast and muffins).

We had a great three course meal on New Year's Eve with delicious tenderloin and chocolate mousse. The waitress was exceptionally nice and friendly. We had a nice view of the boats in the marina. We would definitely eat here again!

This restaurant offers a breakfast buffet. You can chose the continental buffet or the full buffet. My husband got the continental buffet and liked it. There was plenty of food to fill him up. I ordered blueberry pancakes. I got three large pancakes full of blueberries. Very good and I could not eat all of them. We had good service. The server was very friendly,

This place has some really good views of the Marina and is very comfortable Happy hour prices are great and they have a nice selection of appetizers. Service is friendly and efficient I will be going back!

Good breakfast buffet ; choice of full or continental only Can customize according to preference Early start by 6am Prompt service Beach view

i didn't think you could get french fries wrong -- even they were over done, too salty and inedible. just pay the $10 cab ride and go somewhere else.

Enjoyed Dinner and Breakfast here. We enjoyed great food, a very friendly and attentive staff and nice views of the marina. Thank goodness, no standard buffet offered here. Order off the menu, sit back and enjoy your meal, while being well looked after.

Very small but nice restaurant in the hotel. Drinks were very yummy. Music was live and DJ took request. Very great customer service and clean environment. Can eat/drink right next to the water or dine in and on comfy chairs.

One of the problems of staying on Harbour Island is there lack of places to eat. Stashing at the Hilton for one night I just wanted to eat early then sleep. I went for the happy hour menu. The food was great but the portions were very small and I ended up having three different orders to makes up a quite small meal.

Possibly the worst meal I’ve had in a restaurant in 10 years. It’s super convenient if you are staying there and the service was polite, attentive and quick. If you like tasty food, I’d eat elsewhere. Not much of a menu. Was there for dinner. Caesar salad with salmon. Lots of the lettuce was the white rib part with very little darker green. Overcooked and dry salmon.

I noticed on line the nearby restaurants to the Hilton where we were staying were filling up fast so we decided to pop in for dinner since it was not yet crowded. We were seated at a window table with an unbelievable view of the marina. Our server Brian was outstanding. Quickly made us feel comfortable and made some wonderful suggestions. After a long flight I was able to unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the end of the day and things winding down in the marina. Food was outstanding and we ended up sharing food around the table. I would love to go back when I have some more time and not between flights. Enjoyed the baked brie and salad, and the oven roasted chicken. Although we got lucky at the time to walk in and get a table, I suggest reservations.

It was just OK, services were good though. Really shot menu, but when you something specific, they try to accommodate

Had breakfast here the other day while staying at the Hilton. Nice stay, good service. I have the eggs benedict which was very good while my wife had the two eggs any style. Not cheap but, it was good. Very nice inside with a good view of the marina.

I spent a few nights staying at the Hilton Harbor Island and during such time I enjoyed dining and some beverages at the hotel bar/restaurant. Aside from good food, what really stood out to me was the Bartender Jill. She embraced my visit to the area and gave me travel suggestions, some excellent conversation and fellowship. She is everything I would expect in an awesome bartender in a normal bar but really exceeded my expectations being a Hilton Food and Beverage employee. Great work to Jill, and the management of the Hilton for instilling such an amazing work ethic and customer service with its employees. Kudos. Business or pleasure, the Hilton Harbor Island will always be in the forefront of my mind when visiting the area again.

We had dinner here the evening of Thanksgiving after a long flight. We didn't want the special turkey fare, so we ordered off the regular menu. The chicken was delicious! And those truffle fries are addicting. We had great service and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Food is plated well but not the cleanest restaurant and the food wasn’t prepared properly. Got a chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked. Chick fil a makes chicken fantastic and this place called their kitchen cook a “chef”. Then they should know how to cook. Our eggs were runny and uncooked whites, bacon was over cooked and the creamer had foreign matter in it we had to fish out. The fruit was clearly cut on a board that onions were cut on, not only the taste of onions but also had onion skins on the fruit. Cross contamination and we told them of food allergies. Scary at what may go on In their kitchen. The servers were on point, but the bartender doesn’t know how to make mixed drinks at all. If you like guatar music from the 60’s hang out I’m the bar in the evenings on Friday nights. With all of that, they are over priced for what they have to offer. Some desserts are OK, the others don’t measure up. Their fish and chips were horrible. Pass on those, incredibly fishy tasting, not the good kind. Their breakfast buffet isn’t very appealing looking in appearance, but they have a nice juice bar

For dinner, I had the halibut with a Myers rum butter sauce. The salad good, the sauce and steamed veggies were good, but the halibut was overcooked and dry. Service was poor, slow in taking order, and after my salad, the waiter took my knife and bread before I got my Halibut. Price was $33 for the Halibut with a diet coke. In the morning, I had a complementary continental breakfast which was very spartan, lots of different breads but poor fruit selection, just a few cereals, and I had to wait for waiter to pour coffee, and he was very slow in coming. Last thing I need in the morning. There was a "Hot Breakfast Bar" but just 3 items above the continental breakfast for an extra $5.99 (eggs, hash browns, and sausage). Kind of felt like a tourist trap.

The food was delicious and being off the marina provides a great atmosphere for an ocean view and looking at various boats on the water while enjoying your meal and drinks

Panorama Bar & Grill is part of the Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Hotel and overlooks the marina. We stayed at the hotel (the last weekend of August) and although we were expecting to be seated on their patio, we actually had breakfast inside which was the first day the restaurant was allowed to have inside dining (in probably a few months) Of course all the social distancing rules were in place but we appreciated that! Although the menu was somewhat limited, we enjoyed a nice and flavorful breakfast. The staff was very pleasant, efficient and attentive. There is a bar area that too overlooks the marina.

We very much enjoyed our morning breakfasts while staying at Hilton Harbor. Also enjoyable was the attached bar that we visited at night. Views of the harbor is the proverbial icing. Staff is attentive and décor is modern and enjoyable as well. Be sure to go outside and visit Tucan and Sam (the pet names I assigned to the seagulls who camp out on the balcony outside). : )

I had the pleasure of staying a night at the Hilton San Diego Airport on May 14. The hotel was great but unfortunately it was dark when I got there so I didn't have the chance to enjoy the beautiful marina view from my balcony. The highlight of my stay was the Sierra Pacfic Restaurant at the Hilton. It was great to relax and unwind listening to the acoustical live music from a father & daughter duo on Sat. night. But most notable was the excellent service I received in the restaurant from Jill (#10). I wanted a simple grilled chicken sandwich which was not on the dinner menu. She delightfully offered me a selection from the lunch menu which was perfect. She didn't have to offer this but went out of her way to provide excellent service and I was very appreciative. She was very attentive and I enjoyed conversing with her. Jill made me feel welcome and appreciated in spite of my special request. Kudos to Jill and the Sierra Pacfic Restaurant for a lovely evening!

We stayed at the Hilton, and so breakfast here was simple...but so was the menu. There wasn't anything interesting, everything was routine. I had the eggs benedict, and it was nice, but really, at the prices here, you'd expect WOW! Not so much.

The food was delicious. Staff seemed genuinely interested and made us feel welcome. It was a great way to kickstart our holiday, and I will surely be back when I return to this beautiful city!
Very acceptable hotel restaurant and bar
We were staying in the hotel but preferred dinner elsewhere. However, we did have breakfast and drinks from the bar in the evening. The first thing to say is that all the staff were very friendly and attentive, even remembering our preferences for breakfast! We did not sample the cooked breakfast but it looked like the typical American offering. The continental breakfast was a buffet with the usual selection of fruit, yogurt and cereals but also tubs of homemade yogurt which were delicious! One noticeable item was that, in response to the drought in California, water was on request! The bar is adjacent and both overlook the marina with views of the many yachts berthed there. Despite the usual TV screens showing sport (with the sound turned down), the bar felt cosy and welcoming with a selection of craft beers available. It also had a surprising well stocked selection of Scottish malt whisky as well as the local offerings!
