Staying at Fountainbleau, I had seen reviews of Papi Steak and wanted to try it. Made reservations, which is required, although it was quiet on a Monday night. Elegant but vibrant interior. Was seated quickly by an amazingly friendly and beautiful young lady from Mexico with the warmest smile. Great start!! My waiter was Georges (I hope I'm right). He was extremely helpful and very pleasant and attentive. As per usual, I am a single diner, so atmosphere and service is VERY important to me. Papi Steak did not fail. Ordered a cocktail, the whisky sour which I must admit was rather blah, the least of all great dinner!! Drinks are expensive, as it the food. Question is, is it good. Answer, def!! Started with the chilled prawns $36 for 4 prawns, served with both the cocktail and remoulade sauce. Served beautifully on a bowl of crushed ice, and they were excellent. Preparation and delivery very well done. A tad behind Anthony's at the M's, but not by much. They were a good size, meaty, very tasty and the sauces, especially the cocktail, nice. My main was the 6 oz American Wagyu filet done medium at $105 and the roasted Brussels' Sprouts which were $21.00. Before dinner arrived, the show went off as 2 table ordered their famous $1000 44oz Tomahawk and the show went on. It's fun to watch, yup, a bit over the top for sure, but this is like a dining/entertainment value, so you get the best of both Worlds. I actually loved it. Meal arrived in decent time, not rushed, which I liked, I could enjoy the abidance, and since it wasn't crowded, the noise levels were not obtrusive. Food arrived, and it looked fantastic. The steak was perfectly booked to medium with a nice pink center, and def tender and juicy. I went right to the sprouts though, as I had waited for those forever. Spectacular, a bit of chili's added onto the top, roasted perfectly with an amazing sweet and tart glaze, they were absolutely great!! Then came the steak and it was very good. I had never eaten Wagyu before, and don't pretend to be a beef expert, but it was certainly flavorful and tender. Finished every bit. No room for dessert for me tonight. Bill totally to close to $200, just for myself, but the 20% tip for Georges, so def an expensive meal. Not something to do every day, but on a yearly visit, YES!! I can see myself returning. Billed to the room as you get points for everything you buy at Fountainbleau, so keep this in mind. I was very pleased with every aspect of this. It's elegant, but not too stuffy, rather fun, with the show, and the food, def worth the visit. Maybe a different drink choice next time, but not everything is perfect. This came close. Thanks to George my waiter, all of the other staff who kept the table cleaned during every part of the meal, (also while refilling water constantly) and the hostess for being so sweet and starting the night out perfectly. That's great staffing, which is important for a venue of this style and price. Good job, Papi's. See you in 2026.

The food is good. However unless you want to spend the evening shouting rather than having a normal conversation I would avoid this place. It’s excessively loud. Every time someone orders a $1000 steak the while waiting service comes out like a fanfare parading the steak with even louder music. It’s totally unnecessary. You really don’t want to hear this every 20 minutes. The bar staff were really unfriendly but waiting staff for dinner were excellent. If they just tone down the music this would be a great place.

We were on time for our reservation. We had been at a conference all day so we were ready for a wonderful night. However, when we got there, they made us stand at the bar for a half an hour, and then I stood by the check-in for another half an hour it was an hour wasted. When a person has a reservation, the table should be ready within five minutes not an hour. Especially for someone who’s been standing on their feet all day, which is why a lot of people go to Vegas in the first place for conferences and events. We ended up walking out. They really pumped the jam on the menu and wine prices as well. Liquor is four times the price of most Las Vegas restaurants.

Very disappointing! We had reservations for Saturday February 24, 2024 and got called to cancel them 5 minutes before our reservations. We had already arrived at the restaurant to tell us they had a power outage when everywhere else in the hotel was lit up. They did not accommodate us or even help us find another restaurant on a Saturday night in Lasx Vegas. Will never go back to any Papi Steak!

1. We had a 7 pm reservation...it's 8 :08 pm.. still waiting to be seated... My wife is hungry and pissed!! Hopefully I survive

A night out with a group of seven friends and Papi Steak House did not disappoint: the food was really good coupled with attentive servicing and an energetic ambiance. The venue is a touch loud for ongoing conversation, but emits a wonderful and entertaining vibe not to be missed. With respect to the cuisine, everything was truly very, very good although not exceptional save for the potato latkes that have to be amongst some of the very best available anywhere!?! With that said, our sampling of deserts were decidedly notable and on the outstanding side of the equation to say the least. In overview, Papi's is definitively worthy of a return engagement for both the potato latkes and the entertainingly energetic ambiance alone.

Went here based on a youtube review from Vegas with Shin and we did habe a great evening. It was Saturday night, fully booked, atmosphere is fun, lively and there were some fancy people but also average Joe's. We ordered the 1000USD Steak and amazingly it was really good. Sides were good too so the apetizers, had the jumbo shrimps. Paired with a 2013 Silver Oak Cab for USD 525 and our dinner was really good, but of course you pay way too much. The table for 3 was tiny and there is only 1 restroom inside the restaurant. If you look for entertainment and are ready to smash the cash, go and enjoy. We had a fantastic time I won't forget. The good news? The other guy did take the check, haha

Papi steak is a vegas "club style" venue that also serves food. The setting is a cool decor with overwhelming sound system. Papi steak is a step-up from STK (at cosmo). It is so loud that servers have difficulty hearing to get drink and food orders correct. The wedge salad is "ok", nothing special. The $350 A5 waygu filet was good but not great. The cream corn was flavorful and probably the best aspect of the dinner despite not being served warm. The drinks were ok once the order was corrected (waitstaff could not hear the order). The show for bottle service is club style. the venue is too loud to talk during dinner unless you are sitting directly adjacent to your dinning companion. This vegas local will not return for dinner (suggest Peter Luger, Jean George, Bavette's, golden steer or Toca Madera). I would go to Papi steak again for a drink.

Hard no to this place. We were attending a conference next door, and staying at the Fountainbleu. We got back to the hotel 25 minutes ahead of our reservation, so thought we would go a little early and grab a cocktail. There were two of us from a group of 8. My companion has a disability, and can't walk far or stand for long. They wouldn't seat us without the entire group, so we attempted to go to the bar. No seats, barely standing room. We explained to the hostess our dilemma. They did not care. After my friend said she would need to sit on the floor (no chairs anywhere). Well... that inspired them to get a seat for her. ONE SEAT ONLY. I stood there for 25 minutes, while almost every table in the restaurant was empty. They obviously do not make any exceptions for the handicapped. My only other comment is you might want to bring earplugs. The noise was deafening.

You don't go to Papi Steak if you want to eat a steak. It may sound ludicrous, but that is how it is. Or at least, you don't go there primarily for that reason, rather to have a mundane experience, to watch and being watched. Unfortunately, that evening I was just looking for a good steak with my family, inside the hotel where we were staying. Outside the restaurant there was no information (menu, prices), and that time I didn't really feel like looking for information before entering a restaurant. Some times you just want to sit and order. In retrospect, it would have been useful to search first. Full disclosure: our family runs a Michelin-starred restaurant. We know what it takes to run an exclusive venue, and what fine dining means - the costs, the difficulties, personnel management, and more. It is never nice to give a bad review of another venue, but I feel compelled to do so, honestly, because what I found was not only different from what I expected, the experience itself was just disappointing in several respects. Prices were simply ridiculous. A minimum of $30 for a glass of wine of modest quality, over $100 for a small piece of meat, rising to $1000 for a real steak, is an outrage. Pure and simple. And this even if the service is polite, elegant, polished. Sorry to say, but a deejay and a trendy venue are not enough to justify such prices.

If you are after a fun, loud dining experience, then this is it. Service and food was awesome. Was a little concerned based on the reviews but whilst expensive it was an epic experience. Will be back.

Stay away, no matter what it takes. Had guaranteed reservation with credit card and they attempted to seat us at a table barely large enough for one. Place was jammed with conventionersand we were the victims. We left and will never return. Place is loud and dark.

Papi Steak does it again!! Located in the new Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Papi Steak brings the same flare and delicious food as the original Miami Beach location. All the steaks are fresh and yummy!! I also love the crab cakes, latkes, and pastrami!! The manager Evan is running this place to a tee. The hospitality from the staff is unreal! Such a fun place to go with friends to grab amazing food, refreshing cocktails and celebrate. DJs, dancers, and even a baller $1000 tomahawk steak you can purchase that comes in a briefcase with a show!! Definitely check out Papi Steak Las Vegas next time you’re in town! Martin at the door is the man!!

Really enjoyable steakhouse experience with a beautiful sleek nightclub vibe.. Everything we ordered was great and the service was spot on .. If we hadn't also dined at Don's Prime (the additional Fontainebleau Steakhouse on property) I would be giving this the top slot in our steakhouse Casino dining options while spending a week here but our experience at Don's Prime managed to knock it out of the park so hard that we likely won't return to Papi Steak as a result and will instead confine our dining to Don's which is one of our top ten favorites of ALL time! But as Papis goes .. Well done and an overall very enjoyable dinner experience

This place is amazing! There were 8 of us and we took the servers advice and shared everything. Caesar salad!!! Two rib eyes and one strip loin. Perfect. Sides of whipped potato spinach corn. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend

Fun vibe and great space but the food is, in my view, terrible. This place has so much potential if they could figure out the food. Even the $1000 suitcase steak that we ordered, was fatty, average and tasteless. There are so many great restaurants in Las Vegas. There is no need to waste a meal in this Miami Beach out post. That said, it was fun, the music and dancers were great but the food was very average. Other issues: this restaurant has two single toilet bathrooms so there was always a wait at the restaurant. The other drawback was that the restaurant was adjacent to a food court. The new Fontainebleau, where this restaurant is located, is also a poorly conceived plain vanilla resort that one should avoid. Nothing special about the restaurant or the hotel where it was located. Thus, while the experience was enjoyable, the food was terrible and I can’t see ever returning to this one or the original in Miami. Avoid at all costs.

Is this place really worth the hype ? NO, in my opinion. $550 dinner for two not worth it. Ambiance is the typical Vegas style loud music and happening. Try having a conversation or ordering meal is impossible. Extensive wine list with bottles starting from $150+. A glass runs around $30+. Service is top notch. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Food options are good but over priced. Food quality and price don’t go along. We ordered the following- Tuna tartare- very good, small portion but tasty Caesar salad- well presented but a lot of dressing making it too salty to consume Lamb chops- flavorful and well cooked Truffle risotto- risotto under cooked and overly seasoned Truffle corn- was perfect Front desk needs more training on service with a smile when welcoming customers. I won’t be back here as the experience and hype is something I didn’t enjoy and also paying for overly priced food is not something I will be doing again.

Such a fun restaurant with great vibes, excellent staff, delicious food and drinks. The staff was very caring and served our side plates and steaks to each guest and continuously asked us if we need anything. There were burlesque style dancers all night in various parts of the restaurant and the servers did a whole service if you order a special steak with candles and signs - fun and festive vibes throughout the night! We didn’t want to leave - such a fun and memorable place!

Papi is more of a nightclub than a restaurant With an excellent selection of meat and wine. Cooking is definitively not their forte Loud music Fake excitement Poor lighting

Yes, it's fancy and had a cool vibe - but the food is nothing more than you could get at a less expensive steak house. Had ribeye and lobster. Mediocre at best. Servers were very professional. Dinner for two was $350 (that does not include tip). Two steaks, two lobster tails, one side and two cocktails.

Regularly stop by Papi Steak's bar for a quick dinner and have yet to leave disappointed: The cuisine is simply outstanding accompanied by exceptional and conscientious servicing amidst an truly energetic and welcoming atmosphere. Also, having dined in the restaurant itself, echo my aforementioned perception of this fine establishment. Everything on the menu is brilliantly prepared and executed and look forward to many a return engagement....

It’s effectively a club vibe with extremely good food. Loud? Undeniably. Fun? Yes. Everything we ordered was excellent, with the pastrami being the one of the best things I’ve probably ever had.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. The American Wagyu filet was delicious as was the corn. Also had the chocolate cake. It was delicious and too huge for two people to finish. The entire experience including that provided by server Nathan was excellent.

I need to share my experience at Papi Steak in Las Vegas. Initially, it seems that this establishment caters more to the Instagram influencer crowd, willing to spend $30,000 to $40,000 for the sake of photos. However, for regular entrepreneurs and businessmen seeking a pleasant atmosphere and quality food, this place falls short. The experience can be likened to “amateur hour.” The food was disappointing, and despite having a reservation, guests are required to wait outside in line. The staff attempts to upsell aggressively throughout the meal. Should you resist these sales tactics, the attitude shifts, subtly branding you as a lesser individual in their eyes. For those who value their money and prefer it to “simmer” rather than “burn,” I recommend visiting a more authentic gentleman’s steakhouse, such as Peter Luger’s. In comparison, Papi Steak seems like a mere facade.

What a wonderful time we had at Papi Steakhouse located inside the Fontainebleau hotel. Firstly, it’s absolutely stunning! Decor is a 10/10 with richness and beautiful details…even the dinner napkins are elegant and monogrammed. From the moment we walked in the VIP treatment was in full effect. Service is stellar! Theo took amazing care of us from start to finish. DJ Irvin had us out of chairs dancing our shoes off spinning hit after hit. And the manager Jessica even came by to ensure our happiness and gave us some delicious Papi shots! And the food was just as amazing as the atmosphere and the service. The filet mignon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The crab cake melted in my mouth and the sauce it is prepared with was culinary perfection!!! The Brussel sprouts were amazing. The truffle risotto gave me life!!! Outstanding… you must try it! Of course there’s a full bar. Espresso martinis were top tier!!! Loved the Chanel cocktail served by the drink genies and topped with a spritz of rose water! It was literally just a complete experience!! And we were so excited to see someone order the $1000 PAPI Tomahawk steak. The whole restaurant lights up and the staff gathered and did a full on celebration. It was awesome to see. I highly recommend and will return.

Excellent food and service! Lots of good options for food and drinks! Gorgeous restaurant! Payed great music! Fun vibe!

What a scene? From endless energy, to beautiful people and a great vibe. One of my friends ordered the Japanese Kobe strip steak and it was amazing. I ordered the American Kobe strip, and it was overcooked and pedestrian. This is a salad was excellent. However, this is a very, very very expensive place. But it’s Vegas.

Papi Steak is located at the fabulous Fountainebleu Hotel on the second floor. Beautifully decorated in red velvet, mahogany woods, plush furniture, low lights, and loud music by a DJ, this should be on your list to visit. This is a steakhouse with a nightclub that offers a $1000 Tomahawk Steak for those who are celebrating something special The steak is brought into the dining room by several lovely girls carrying giant sparklers and the chef or headwaiter carrying in a very elegant and specially made briefcase aka The Berf Case with the steak on ice to the celebrating table. Everyone stops what they are doing and all eyes are on the Presentation of the Beef Case, a 55 ounce Australian Wagyu Tomahawk steak. We were fortunate to be sitting right next to a table of girls who ordered the Tomahawk. We had a blast watching it all go down. We ordered and shared the 14oz NY Prime steak, the Whipped Potatoes, and Creamed Spinach. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The potatoes were buttery and delicious as was the spinach. My daughter had her Casamigos Reposado drink and I tried the El Padron. Both were very good. For dessert, we had the Papi Steak Strawberries & Cream Creme Brulee presented in its special container. It was incredible with the strawberries caviar! We enjoyed our entire experience and would return during our next trip to Vegas.

I came to Papi Steak for the vibe and the steak — and the atmosphere absolutely delivered. The service was attentive, the energy was electric, and the live DJ added a fun, upscale touch to the evening. As for the food, it was good, but not quite on par with the price point. I’ve had better steaks elsewhere for less, so if you're coming strictly for the culinary experience, you might find stronger contenders. That said, it’s totally worth visiting for the ambiance alone!

Absolute disrespect towards guests. They take reservations for 10:30 PM, but by 11:10 PM, you’re still standing near the bar with no one approaching you. Every time, the reception staff lies, saying, ‘We’ll invite you soon’ or ‘We’ll call you soon.’ This is the worst place in Las Vegas!!!!!

I was excited to finally dine at Prime Steak - Las Vegas, a place that I read about previously. Unfortunately, the experience was tainted by what can only be described as racist behavior. The service seemed unresponsive as soon as we arrived. Despite seeing unoccupied tables, we waited for a seat for 1.5 hours. After being led to a seat far in the back of the restaurant, behind the server station, I saw that every other black person (10 people) was occupying the same section at the back as me. Again, they sat all of the black people in one section in the back of the restaurant. They did nothing at all to alter the circumstances or the appearance of the problem after informing their management staff about it. Rather than alleviate our disappointment, they extended to each Black individual in this particular section a glass of champagne. Nobody expressed regret or even empathized. As a black man, I felt this kind of treatment to be unacceptable. A restaurant should be a welcoming place for everyone, and Papi Steak's 's actions made us feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Because of this experience, I won't be returning to Papi Steak. There are many other fantastic restaurants in Las Vegas that treat all customers with respect. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more inclusive dining experience.

If you are not into loud rap music in a lounge environment you should go to Don’s Prime on the same level at Fountainebleau. I personally don’t like the music’s intrusiveness and “one style” approach. Only one classic song from Al Green. The rest was rap many with questionable taste and so loud it’s difficult to have a conversation. Aside from that debacle, the wine list is prices at about 4x to 4.5x the retail price of your favorite wine. Mine I could buy at retail for $165.00 was priced at $550.00. And there were nearly no wines at $250 or lower The food was outstanding! The dry age NY strip was perfect at MR+. The Mac &Cheese was the best I’ve had in decades. Shrimp cocktail was perfect. The prices, however, be ready for a real hit on your wallet. The steak was $125. A petite filet was over $90 for 8oz. The service was excellent and very professional. Just first class. Cocktails were also done very well and served by a lovely, professional cocktail waitress. A+ there too. The decor is spectacular. Truly unique and creative. My wife loved the vibe. I hated it. Therein lies the problem. She wants to come back. I don’t. But it the music scene IS your scene, and the prices don’t bother you, this is a spectacular place.

Had a 5:30 reservation. Ordered the pretzel bread (which was very good) but our server told us “the chef wants all food ordered at the same time”- we didn’t like that very much. I ordered the 8oz filet - which was just ok Partner ordered the 8 oz wagyu- again just ok. Whipped potatoes were good. Partner LOVED the maitake mushrooms. Our biggest issue was how dark the restaurant was, they used flashlights to have us cut into our steaks, they had actually served us the other persons steak. We used our phones several times to see the food items before we put it in our mouths. Our verdict is the restaurant is overrated and overpriced. Perhaps more training for the servers. We would not return or recommend to friends.

So we're frequent Vegas visitors and a big part of our trip is fine dining. We decided to try something different and thought Papi Steak would be fun. It wasn't. We arrived well dressed and on time, we were directed to the bar, which was fine but as we stepped into the dining room we noticed a lot of poorly dressed people - t-shirts with crass logos, and a lot of kids. Far from the roped entrance vibe they're giving off. I thought weird but we'll be accommodated as a couple with a good table - we weren't. The hostess led us to a corner table next to a very busy waiter station. I've got one major rule in an expensive restaurant - don't take a bad table. This had to be the worst table in the house, stuffed next to a bunch of other two tops and buzzing with staff. I told our hostess, nicely, we're not sitting here. She said she's see what she could do - another trip to the bar. After 10 minutes or so she came back and directed us to another table, another cramped two top next to a family with small children. My wife and I told the hostess if she didn't have anything better we'd leave. She was very apologetic and said she'd talk to a manager. A few moments later she returned and said that was all they could offer - so we left. Papi might be fun, but at 8pm on a Saturday night it was far from the club experience we thought we were getting. Compare this to Delilah @ Wynn and there's no comparison - I think they're both going for the same market/crowd. Vegas is a transactional town, we're willing to pay for a great experience, but if that doesn't happen I'm not spending time or money dealing with it because there are a million other places. We ended up at Don's downstairs and had a good meal, but not what we had hoped for. Fontainebleau is a beautiful property but the delivery isn't quite there. I'll save that for a separate review.

From the minute you walk up to the restaurant you realize how special this place is . It’s gorgeous on the inside. It’s a show and dinner must see.

Horrible customer service! Our reservation was for 10:30 PM, but even after an hour, they were nowhere near ready to seat our group. When we asked about the delay, they called security, and then the manager came over, pretending like nothing was wrong. This is the worst place to dine and waste thousands of dollars for nothing

Papi Steak is pure Vegas drama—dark, moody, and unapologetically over-the-top. The tomahawk steak is the star of the show (go for the Papi Steak presentation if you’re feeling bold), but the pastrami appetizer is a standout in its own right. Don’t skip dessert—the strawberry crème brûlée is to die for. Service is sharp, and the energy is high—perfect for a special night out with a party vibe.

We were in town for a concert and decided to have a nice dinner before the show. Three life long friends enjoying the evening catching up. We got to the restaurant for our 530p reservation, were sat immediately, and our server came and started our dinner experience. He was knowledgeable of the menu and answered all questions we had. We ordered 3 appetizers, steaks, sides, cocktails and dessert. This is NOT an inexpensive spot!!!! Our bill came and was paid... We were about 30mins from our concert starting just next door. When a gentleman, who was not our server, came to our table and leaned down.... and said....(and I quote...) "Hey folks, no rush, but, maybe another 5-10mins, but we ARE going to need this table." (it was a simple 4 top) I WAS STUNNED!!! One of my friends simply cut him off... and he left our table.... We sat there for a minute and just looked at each other.... mouth agape. This, THIS, is how you treat patrons who spend an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money on a steak dinner. Don't get me wrong, the dinner was very good, but in all honesty, I have had better meals with better experiences. Was it because we weren't their target demographic? Were we too old for their "look"?? Were we not dressed well enough for their establishment?? Who knows.... I was taught to NEVER judge a book by its cover. You never know who has money simply by the way a person dresses.... This was such a complete let down to an otherwise enjoyable night.

Made reservations for son's 21st birthday, which we indicated on the reservation. The food was decent, but not worth the price tag, and it was clear our server wasn't interested in our table. We watched him join other birthday announcements, but nothing at ours. We opted to just order entrees and leave.

This is not just a restaurant but an experience. The bartenders and servers are friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered drinks and appetizers at the bar while waiting to be seated. The music, lights, and food deliveries kept us entertained! Our dinner was perfect, and dessert was incredible. This restaurant is more expensive than others on the strip but worth every penny. We will be back!

I sat at the bar for dinner on the friday night of the F1 Grand Prix weekend. It was loud, dark and difficult to read the menu or the check. I ordered a simple grilled salmon and a glass of rose . I put a 20% service on the check that I could not read in the dark and left the place after 30 minutes as it was so loud and unpleasant with birthdays being celebrated with defeaning stupid rap music!! It is after I got home and saw the charge on my credit card that I noticed that I was charged $ 155.00!!!!! They charged me $ 45 for a glass of bland rose and $75 for the salmon . The salmon was mediocre, overcooked and tasteless. I am SURE that the wine was a cheap rose and they charged me for a vintage overpriced wine. How can a chef mess up a grilled salmon?? I make them all the time very easy and tasty. This place is all hype , loud, dark and poor food. I will NEVER go back . All about Fontainebleau is overpriced and overrated. Do not go to this restaurant!!
Unsure? Don’t do it.
I can only express my sincere disappointed at this venue. I read the bad reviews but disregarded them as I thought it would still be fun with my friend. I was sincerely disappointed…check in to the venue was bad and Chris who managed the bar was one of the rudest individuals I’d ever come across. To the point that we encountered him and had to leave afterwards. If you’re unsure. Just don’t. It’s not worth it. The service is terrible .
