While visiting my son in Atlanta we happened upon Papi’s and I am so glad that we did. This small Cuban grill has a great vibe and amazing food with such great flavor. The mojito was one of the best I have ever had- created with just the right amount of muddled mint! Our server was very pleasant and had a great knowledge of the menu and readily gave recommendations for both of us. Papi’s is worth the trip- just go, you will not be disappointed!

I recently took a group of women in my Lunch Bunch group to this restaurant located just down from Peachtree Road. Usually one has to go to Buford Highway to get a good Cuban sandwich and Cuban food. But here you have it right in the city. Parking is easy in the back of the restaurant. It's right across from Mary Mac's. Portions are large and the service was good. People liked the Cuban sandwich as well as the other items they ordered. Black beans and rice and chicken and soups were on the menu. If you crave a good Cuban sandwich. Try it here.

Authentic Cuban/Caribbean food with great flavor and atmosphere. I have tried a lot of Cuban sandwiches and theirs are the best! The traditional cuban plates are delicious as well. I love the outside patio and the fun music they have playing. I have spent a lot of time in the Caribbean and Papis food is legit! Every time I am in Atlanta I make a stop by here!

Great midtown location to hotels. The Cuban sandwich and Ropa vieja bowl were outstanding! We will go back! Highly recommend!

The food was delicious. If you follow GPS it will lead you to back of building but it's in the front. The service was ok. The server seemed as though she was rushing although it wasn't that crowded. She said she would bring a drink menu but never did. We sat on the patio area to eat. Also I saw the Insert menu was only Friday..we went on a Saturday. Since you can't still order from that menu they should not include in on the weekends

Great food at a great price. Location is good. Parking is a little tight. Staff is friendly. I would say it's worth the time to visit.

Food so plentiful that you can easily share. mid priced and delicious.Maduros comes with many meals. If they don't order them as a side. The vaca frita or pollo vaca fritas overfill the bowl . this place is worth a try.

My review is actually for the Papi's at the Atlanta Airport Concourse T near gate 8. It has the most awesome Cuban sandwich ever (available anytime). A meat-lovers heaven. The pork is soooo tender. The prices, for an airport, are reasonable. Others said the salmon patties are also awesome so next time I will have to try them. Breakfast looked good and was reasonalby priced.

I was waiting for my flight back to DCA from ATL and wanted something simple, but different. This was my first visit to Papi's. When I say that I experienced southern hospitality from the time I entered the place until the time I left - I am not joking! Derrick escorted me to my seat and Ms. Sylvia waited my table. I ordered the Rey Cuban Sandwich - yes, yes, yes! I told Ms. Sylvia I needed a small salad (had to have my greens). She said "I got you baby" and that she did! I am so grateful that I met such nice people on my return trip home and had excellent food to go along with it. If you are in the Atlanta airport, stop by Papi's and have some cuban/caribbean cuisine. You won't be sorry! Shout out to Derrick and Ms. Sylvia too!

The food here is terrific and the prices are affordable. The decor is a bit out dated but appropriate not a fancy place but I'd go back for the food. They also have a full bar.

This is my favorite place in the city to get Cuban food. The cuban sandwiches are good and the entrees as well. Always like to try the croquettes too

way over priced for dinner menu; my family and I ate there last night and I ordered the steak which was paper thin and overcooked and $20.00 my mother ordered the shrimp which was good...stick with the medium priced dishes and stay away from the steak.

I didn't know anything about Cuban food before. I loved it. We were a party of 8 and everyone enjoy their food.

I absolutely love Papi's, I've eaten at most of the Atlanta locations! LoL I love the energy of the restaurant when you walk in, especially if they're playing dance music! #Love great place for a date, or chill at the bar and gab to your bartender. BUT, when you order the yuca fries for your appetizer make sure you specify/differentiate which you are getting, fried or boiled!! I made the mistake once, but still had no issue, it's just a texture thing for me and the sauces are different for the 2 options. One is oil-based (boiled), the other is cream-based (fried). Equally good, but if you're texture sensitive like me, take heed. LoL oh & try a new fruity drink! Never disappointing!

They have great cuban food here and are authentic. The prices are decent for a decent amount of food..you will enjoy it veyr much..

The food is excellent and authentic . The service is always good. Parking is kind of an issue depending on the time you go.

We ate here twice in one week because of the convenient location to where we were staying and our love of Cuban food. The media noche was great, sweet plantains & rice & beans as well. The meats were dried out on the entrees and ropa vieja wasn’t served for dinner only lunch. The bar drinks & desserts were incredible. There is a parking lot and street parking and unfortunately the street clientele gets sketchy in the evenings.

Great recommendation by an Uber driver! Everyone has different tastes and so you never know what your in for when a complete stranger suggests a place to dine. This was a great place. Just like typical Cuban restaurant nothing fancy but functional. We had a pleasant waitress, got orders quickly, great food, great mohitos. Not a huge menu but you’re sure to find a satisfying authentic style Cuban meal.

We noticed a fair number of airline employees patronizing this place so we had dinner while waiting for our plane. The service was excellent, and the food had real taste. It's a solid four stars for an airport, and somewhere between 3 and four stars for a non-airport restuarant. We would eat here again.

I guess I didn't know what to expect from Cuban cuisine other than what I see on travel shows. I expected something punchier but I suppose it's unfair to judge a place based on TV shows when it is your first time. That said, taking the foods on it's own merits I thought it was OK. I had pulled pork and a side order of mofongo. The dishes seem familiar to Interior Mexican food but lack the same depth, which in that case I'd rather seek a good Interior Mexican place. Nothing was bad but nothing was memorable, nor produced a strongly positive association with Cuba. Meh.

We had enough time to sit and enjoy the meal and it was delicious, just like some of the great Cuban/Caribbean food in Miami. Surprising that the food is as good in an airport. If this restaurant was near my work, I would eat there every week. They understand that sometimes you need to eat quickly and can accommodate, but you must let them know. Masitats con Puerco and Vaca Frita are delicious. Say hello to Sylvia. She treated us like family. What a pleasure.

Awesome Cuban food. The best we've had in several years. It's a hidden gem that's very authentic. Good pricing too!

My husband and I had plenty of time to kill waiting for our flight at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, so we walked back and forth through the entire airport checking out ALL of the food places. We decided we wanted to try something we had not eaten before, so we selected Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill and we were NOT disappointed!! At the cash register, we asked what are the best dishes? The wonderfully nice lady advised us on the menu. She asked if we were getting takeout or eating there, and we said we wanted to eat there, so she advised the waitstaff and they were able to quickly seat us. We ordered what the cashier had advised - Pollo Vaca Frita for me (I love chicken; not a red meat eater), and Masitas de Puerco (a succulent pork dish) for my husband. Both meals were absolutely delicious; however, the yellow, flat, pancake-looking item that came with my dish wasn't flavorful, so that is my only complaint. I recommend eating that WITH the other food at the same time, not separately. Eating the rice and chicken together was great - loved it! My husband loved his dish so much that he's now craving this type of food and can't wait to eat it again! He's been looking for cuban/caribbean food places near where we live so we can go eat at one of them. I'm sure he'll be looking for a dish that is or is similar to what he ate. I tried his dish as well, and he is RIGHT! I don't typically eat pork or beans, but he gave me a spoonful of everything that was on his plate (all together), and it was really delicious - more flavorful than my dish too! The combination of everything that was on that plate was indescribably good!!! Then we had a flight delay - so we asked our waitress and other staff about good desserts. We got the Tres Leche Cake and Lemon Cheesecake. Of course, I love cheesecake, so I ended up loving the Lemon Cheesecake the best (and I've never had lemon cheesecake before - it was REALLY GOOD!!!). I'd say the Tres Leche Cake is more for those who don't like their desserts too sweet or rich. Believe me, it really was good, but I loved the cheesecake more. Also, the Tres Leche Cake tastes the best when it's room temperature. That's when you can REALLY taste its flavorful goodness. Well, it was truly an airport treat! Can't wait to eat there again and try something else new!

I live in Miami so I know a thing or two about Cuban food. My kids and I had a long layover in ATL and decided to try Papis Cuban Restaurant. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about eating Cuban food in outside Miami, but the food was quite good. We ordered their Masitas de Puerco (fried pork chunks) platter and their Pan con Bistec Sandwich (steak sandwich in Cuban bread) with Yuca Fries. The Masitas de Puerco was accompanied by Moro rice (rice and black beans cooked together) and fried ripe plantains, both were very good. This entree was delicious and authentic. Their Pan con Bistec sandwich however, was good but prepared differently to what you get here in Miami. It was prepared with Mayonnaise or something similar to it – this sandwich is not prepared with any type of sauce – but it was not bad. The restaurant has a full bar and it’s located inside Terminal T. ¡Buen Provecho!

We looked up the menu online before going... what we didn't know was this is a chain & this particular location doesn't serve the full menu that's online... and unfortunately a couple of our selections fell into this category (including the Fish Tacos, which was the whole reason we came). The food we ordered ended up being fantastic, especially for the price. The server we had was less than attentive. When we first arrived, we were sat at a table & asked if we could sit at the empty booth. He response was a simple "no." Several minutes later, he sat at the booth we wanted to roll silverware. And apparently rolling silverware took priority over taking our order, refilling beverages, and getting us the check. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but since we now know this is a chain, we'll go to one of the other locations next time.

Tried Cuban food for the first time & loved it. Small inside but we were served promptly. I got a Papis Hurricane and a chicken dish with yellow rice. Food was flavorful & the best black beans I'd ever tasted. You'll enjoy it !

The Cuban and the Ropa Vieja were both delicious. Casual, friendly atmosphere. Tip: you don't need sides with the sandwiches. They're HUGE.

The Cuban sandwich have a lot of meat on it. You will get your money worth place a little small but good ole fashion cubans

Authentic Cuban and Caribbean menu choices. HUGE portions! Not a fancy place and reasonable prices for every menu choice. Friendly and fast lunch service. We'll go frequently!

Having lived 23 years in Miami, I know Cuban food. This place is ok but not as good as many places in Miami. But since left Miami 10 years ago coming to visit our son in Atlanta includes a Papi's obligatory visit.

It's authentic Cuban food...the ropa vieja plate and Cuban sandwich are a couple of their best foods. Drinks are good too. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food given. It gets packed for lunch so parking can be a bit of a hassle. Other than that its good eatin'.

I just had the black bean soup.. my friends had more food.. and they said great things.. especially about the mojos!

Food was delicious and the music was good. Made us feel as if we were in Puerto Rico again. Even better, Papi's location is in close proximity to the Georgian Terrace Hotel.

Our favorite go-to place before heading to the Atlanta Fox for a show. The food is delicious, service, well depends on the day, most of my experiences have been great with timing. I always tell my server the time I need to leave to get to the show on time. Very Casual, but delightful atmosphere.

The food is out of this world. The maduros are deliciously sweet and savory. The Papi Sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. Location is awkward, but the food and service are amazing and authentic.

We ordered take away. Pickup ended being pretty easy as there was a space to wedge in my car behind the restaurant. Food was ready on time. There were 2 items on the online menu that were not available from this location and that's why the rating isn't 5 stars. One was the mofongo appetizer and the other was the ajiaco step. Both sounded absolutely amazing but are inexplicably not available at the Ponce location? My son had the Cuban. He proclaimed it the best short of a place we love in FL. I had the Cuban fish with safron rice and beans. I thought it was very good. Maduros are always a favorite and they were done well. All in all, very pleased. Also really good value.

So hungry, we ordered the sampler platter (Potato puff filled with beef, ham croquettes and beef empanada) to take the edge off. Great decision. We also ordered the Masitas Pork (fried cubed pork with Congris, fried plantains and Salad) and the Papi's Combo Cuban sandwich. Large portions. Oil and vinegar on the table for the salad. Some of the pork pieces were a bit dry/chewy, but tasty.

I went to the Emory location today. I called my order in for beans and rice at 12:07 pm, my lunch was 12 pm to 1 pm today. I went to pick up my food which is across the street and I waited ( along with others ) at the spot to pick up orders. I waited 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. 3 people got tired of waiting and left. I would have but I had already placed the order. In the mean time people came in were seated and served. Finally was asked if I had been helped AFTER 20 minutes and then took my money for my order. Then more waiting.... It was awful because the AC was not working. I finally got out of there at 12:45 pm with my lunch and by the time I got back to work my lunch was over. Now it will be dinner. I can not believe it took almost 1 hour to get rice and beans. Never again

I visited this restaurant on 7/7/17 with my bestfriend. This was our first time and we weren't sure what to expect. I must say the food was delicious. The presentation, taste and look of the dishes were superb. I will definitely recommend it to anyone. Staff was very professional and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

We came to Atlanta to shop and wanted to try Papi’s. I had a Cuban sandwich with lettuce and tomato called a Papi’s sandwich with black beans and yellow rice. The pork inside the sandwich was cooked to PERFECTION!

We were very pleased to see Papi's located in terminal T Atlanta airport. We don't go out of terminal T very often so this was a welcome surprise and nice change from the usual food places. We stop at the Papi's off I 75 just outside Woodstock often and have always enjoyed the food so didn't hesitate to drop into this location. I tried the fish tacos for the first time, they were GREAT, he ordered the Cuban sandwich which was also top notch. Service was fast and friendly. Will eat there in the future when on terminal T.

Small restaurant but the food was incredible. Took me a long time to find parking in the area so be patient. They have parking meters and the meter agents are on point driving in the area and checking the status. Once we made it in, we were given a table immediately and the drinks came not long after. Ordered the empanadas as an appetizer and they were packed with meat inside. Then the feast arrived and it got even better. The true Cuban flavor was all there. The quality was impressive and the quantity was even better. We ended up taking food back to the hotel. Highly recommend.

First time here but it won’t be my last! I was amazed at not only the taste of the food but the generous portions as well....don’t remember my servers name but she was adorable thanks

Ordered online for takeout. Food was ready in time and everything was correct. We all got the grilled fish, and it was truly delicious. Soft and perfectly flavored, melted in the mouth. I usually don't like plantains, but I even liked that part! The rice and beans were flavorful as well. This was our favorite restaurant of our trip and we will definitely return next time!

My husband is half Cuban and loves to eat Cuban cuisine whenever he gets the chance. We had been at the Fox theatre for an afternoon show and Googled places nearby that we hadn’t eaten at previously. This place is on Ponce de Leon across the street from Merry Mac’s. The menu was big and had some different twists on the classics. The service was excellent, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is fun. No frills really. There is a small dedicated parking lot behind the building. Prices are reasonable. Wine, beer, cocktails, Cuban coffees. Loved it.

Food was great. Service was fast and prices were decent, place is a little small but would definitely recommend it.

From side ordered tostones, maduros to ROPA VIEJA, VACA FRITA, POLLO VACA FRITA, and a Cuban sandwich special... soooo much food to share and sample, AND, a happy toddler with her rice and beans, let everyone eat in the comfort of our home. Fast and easy online service and delivery made it effortless, less muss and distraction of eating out. Thank you Papi's for a delish meal!

Pleasant atmosphere with an exceptional menu outside of Hialeah, fast and courteous service, very friendly owner, surroundings with many paintings and decoration from Cuba!

Very unassuming location on the corner of a busy street and a side street. Upon entering the ambiance reminds me of a restaurant in the Caribbean. Full bar, attentive staff, authentic food with flavors from Cuba and surrounding areas makes this place a definite go to for something outside the norm. I would recommend this place for couples and friends. The inside is somewhat cramped, but they make great use of the space. Parking can be an issue, but I was able to find some behind the building in the small parking lot. I have to mention the Cuban white bread they serve with the sandwiches is superb! You can tell they make the bread fresh daily.

Small place, and there was a wait for lunch, but it was well worth the wait. We had a party of five. Jerk Chicken Salad was huge and could have served two. Rey's Cuban Sandwiches were a hit and very tasty. Kids had chicken fingers and fries and that kept them quiet. Now, the meal that brought down the house was the Masitas Pork dinner! Wow, this was delicious. A couple of us had been to Cuba a few times and we all gave the food high ratings for authenticity. We will very definitely return to eat again.

Staying in mid-town to attend an event at the Fox Theater. This place is a short walk away and offers very good Cuban fare. Very crowded on a Saturday evening. Good service at a very reasonable price. Obviously, many people are regulars and were greeted by name upon entering. Food came in large portions and bar drinks were well made.

Delicious tostones with pork topping. Also tried pernil (pork) with rice and black beans. Servings are bug enough for 2 and prices are reasonable. Highly reccommended!

No atmosphere to speak of. But service is friendly. Menu offers a variety of Cuban dishes and sandwiches. The Cuban sandwich with crispy fries was excellent and so was the ropa vieja. No draft beers, only bottles. The portions are large enough to satisfy big eaters. The price was adequate. Good experience.

I was craving a Cuban sandwich for lunch while I had some time in midtown last week and Papi's was perfect. It was the best medianoche I’ve had in a long time. You can eat at the bar if it gets too crowded which I imagine it does. The food is too good for it not to.

We were looking for a Cuban restaurant, and we were so fortunate to find Papi’s! Delicious authentic dishes and huge portions!

Went to the airport location and thought I could get their famous Cuban. Unfortunately they only sell what they are known for (Cubans) at lunch and dinner. I could see that being the standard practice at the actual restaurant, however, at the Airport you want people to be able to have access to all your food at any time. We can get sausage, eggs and bacon at any other restaurant. But the Cuban food is what differentiates you.

Visited Papi’s again and glad we did so. With so many great places to try in ATL it’s been awhile since eating there. We were not disappointed. The Cuban sandwich is a favorite, and the Ropa vieja is delicious. Plantains are perfect, buttery and sweet...and the Cuban coffee is the best we’ve had anywhere. Only one negative...the empanadas get a mixed review. The pastry is delicious, perfectly fried and tasty, but, the filling is dry and lacked flavor. The service at Papi’s was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Will go again.

This is the best Cuban food in Atlanta, Good reasonable the place to be across the street form Mary Macs..

First, let me say the entire experience here was amazing!!! The service from beginning to end was awesome!!! The food is delicious, drinks tasty and strong, and to top it off the price is GREAT! So we have good food, good drinks, and at a good price. You can't beat that!!! In regards to the service the server customer service is outstanding. I always appreciate good customer service. I went with a group of friends and got caught up in conversation. Our server was patient with us, very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and answered all the questions we had regarding certain entrees. I recommend everyone to go here. I know I'll be returing again soon and taking some people with me.

I am a son of a Cuban and have an idea what good Cuban food should taste like. The Cuban sandwich is the best in Atlanta! The pork is cooked just right. And the bread perfectly pressed. And you have to drink a Materva(Yerba-mate soda) with it. The entrees are good. But, do not forget some yucca(root plant like a potato, but better!) and the mojo on top! Bien provecho!

After a day looking around Atlanta needed somewhere cheap and cheerful for dinner, and this certainly fitted the bill. Arrived with no reservation just before 8pm and was seated in a booth. Almost immediately a queue formed with some turned away. good food and beer selection. Staff friendly and helpful in terms of the menu. Really good Cuban food great value!

Not much of "Cuban". The rice was bland. The black beans loaded with oregano and inedible. I was very disappointed.

Decided to review after having several Great Visits to Papi's on Ponce...I work near the restaurant and we often order from Papi's..We have NEVER been disappointed..Keep up the Good Work...Make Papi proud!!!

On busy Ponce de Leon Avenue, at the edge of a quiet residential part of midtown, sits Papi's midtown location. This is pretty much a neighborhood joint; not fancy, not huge but well worth a visit. As the name suggests, Cuban and Caribbean food is what you'll find on the menu. Rey's Cuban Sandwich is a signature dish, and it's terrific. Have it with a side of maduros (fried sweet plantains) and you'll walk away satisfied for hours. Prices are extremely reasonable. Parking appears to be on street only (I walked) but the restaurant is an easy walk from several midtown hotels. While not an enormous place, it's bigger than it seems - big enough to offer a full bar in addition to ample seating. It's a popular place with a steady stream of patrons. If you're looking for something a bit different, this is a good choice. Bonus: read the history on the back of the menu.

Service and Food Were a Major Disappointment. During a visit to Atlanta, decided to give this place a try- the menu read really interesting and found some dishes to try. I had the Lechon with rice and beans with Tostones. My Wife had the "Ropa Vieja with Yellow Rice". I'll start by saying the service they provide is worse that fast food places. It was unreal to witness the attitude and the way the speak to the customers. Although I was ready to go elsewhere, my wife decided to stay. The Pork is not "Asado" as the menu states, nor anything similar. It is basically pork cooked in a crok-pot, dump some lemon and orange juice, add half a bottle of adobo goya and perhaps some broth to keep it moist. It was moist, but SALTY and greasy. The Rice had zero flavor. The black beans were out of a can, without any other ingredients besides some Artificial Ham flavoring (like Knorr-Brand Cubes). I've eaten my share of Caribbean dishes in my lifetime and this by no means represent any effort on cooking a latin nor cuban dish. The Ropa Vieja was nothing more than a beef stew with only bell pepper and onion added, little flavor and lots of tomato sauce. Reading up on the Cuban way of making the Ropa-Vieja Dish found they don't use "Tasajo" which is the correct meat for the dish. Even then, they effort to season it in any way to tase like Ropa Vieja was not used. The Tostones were the highlight of the meal as they were freshly made and not over cooked as some places tend to do. The Mojito was made from a mix and not mixed properly- Overly strong and Expensive for a short glass. Most places serve it on a tall glass IF you go there for Drinks, DO not think a Cuban restaurant will make a good Mojito, this place confirms it is a Myth. Take the time to stand next to the bar with a clear view of the sink where they "Wash" and Rinse their Glasses. You'll probably be as turned-off as me, when you see their "Soapy" water has no soap. It is just plain water. Salty Food does not equal Good food, not Caribbean food.

I had never had any Cuban cuisine before but I loved my first time experience here! The food was great, the price was fantastic, and although the service was a little slow, it was because it was Saturday night and there was a wait but it was truly worth it!!

I walked 20 minutes from my hotel to get this sandwich and it was worth it! That pork and the special sauce! Yum! Not to mention the delicious bread! I will be back and highly recommend you stop by if you want some delicious food!

I ordered the ropa vieja menu item and it was absolutely amazing!! The place does get packed very fast and easy as there isn’t a lot of space but the service was good and the food was even better. Just be prepared to wait for your dinner table! The wait is worth it!!

All my coworkers know if they are going to lunch with me, then we are going to Papi's! So many great choices with very large portions. My favorite is the Tostones Supremos - basically like supreme nachos but on tostones. If you are in a rush, ask for your check once the food arrives. But the best experience is to just relax and enjoy island time for a little bit!

What can I say, never disappoint, very consistent, love this place, cost, service, location! You leave full, meals are of great proportion, meats are tender, love the beans and rice, plantains are looked to perfection!

This whole in the wall was everything!!! The people were cool and the food was so good and babbeee the drinks, I had a peach margarita and it was on point!!!

Delicious lechon, empanadas and first rate service. Cant go wrong for delicious cuban food. Went for dinner and then back for the cuban sandwich. So so good. Felt very taken care of. Would go back again when in atlanta!

Fresh from Cuba and wanted more Cuban food so we checked out Papi's restaurant to try their empanadas. They do not offer a vegetarian option but they guava one is delicious like a dessert. The yellow rice was pretty good. One of us ordered black beans and the other ordered black soup. You could not tell the difference which was which so I asked the server and he said they give you more juice in the soup and more beans in the plain black beans! Wow. We had to send the soup back because it was under cooked. My spouse and I both felt sick for two days after eating the fish. The service was very inattentive considering it was not a busy restaurant.

So I have been going to Papis for a long time it was not as bustling as it is now so try to beat the lunch rush or go mid-day..my favorite dish to order is the Jerk Chicken plate, you get an amazing amount of food for like $7 or $8 bucks. Chicken, rice, salad, plantains and beans. There are still a few of the original people but sadly I notice the waitstaff is always changing which disappoints me because that was always the beautiful thing about this place..everyone was like family. Still great food...I recommend highly!

I love Papi's! Their cuban sandwiches are delicious, and I also really enjoy their cuban milkshakes (mango is my favorite!). The sandwiches are hefty, with lots of meat, and they have just the right amount of sauce on them. Their milkshakes are smooth and sweet. If you're in Atlanta and looking for a quick bite, I would defnitely recommend Papi's!

Papi's has $5 Margaritas and Mimosas on Thursdays, but I am happy going any day of the week just for the amazing, authentic, affordable food. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I ordered chicken soup cup and grilled chicken breast as take away. Chicken and black beans was packed in separate container and rice with chicken was packed separately. Soup was ok ok. Rice along with chicken was good and liked the Banana roast.

Awesome service and great food enjoyed it all today; Ray’s Cubano, beef and chicken empanadas, Medianoche sandwich, Cubano

We were lucky to come in the "back door" (upper door facing street) so that we got a seat before the crowd. The food was great, I think very reasonably priced for what you get. Service nice, ambiance nice. We also felt lucky to get a parking space on the main road, however BEWARE there was a homeless person asking us for money when we left the restaurant that was very persistent and rude.

WOW! The food, the service, the environment was all so good that I can't wait to good back again. My wife had the beef, rice and beans, but it's was the plantains that were the most outstanding item we had. The parking was the worst part but after we got a space we found out their parking lot is behind the restaurant. Don't let that stop you from going here because the other more than makes up for it

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. We stood there for a good 10 minutes and no one greeted us nor told us to seat ourselves. Several servers walk by us and no one said anything. I had to stop someone and ask to be seated and she said you have to seat yourself and walk away. They should of at least taken the time to inform us. They need a sign that states it or something!!

Always good!! Been there many many times ... try their carne frita with tostones. Have a tres leches for dessert!!

My daughter and I had lunch here and had one of the lunch specials...pork, rice black beans, salad and fried plantains. It was so much food that we took he home more than we ate. Will go again and try the Cuban sandwich.

I love soups and tried their chicken soup, which was filled with chicken, noodles and potatoes. The potatoes weren't expected, but they were good and melted in my mouth. The soup came with some type of cuban bread and it was very good and I couldn't stop eating it. My friend got a cuban sandwich and I tried a dish with shrimp, yellow rice and spices, with salad and fried plantain. The fried plantain was a bland, different from my previous experience with it. My friend loved her sandwich, but not so much on her fries. I loved my shrimp, yellow rice and spices, though there was too much salt and I could feel my feet and ankles swelling later in the evening. Meal was very good, quick and super inexpensive and we enjoyed ourselves as our last meal before leaving Atlanta.

We always try and find Cuban food!!! This is the real deal!! Michelle our server was awesome!!! I had the Cuban sandwich it was big! I also did the black beans and yellow rice. Wife had ropa sandwich with fries, it was big also. $25.75 total bill not bad!!!

Had seen Papi’s driving by over the years and it came up on reviews recently when I wanted a good Cuban sandwich. Definitely worth the trip from Sandy Springs. This is not some smushed panini with Cuban looking ingredients. Instead, I enjoyed a huge sandwich on warm soft fresh bread with just enough crust to hold it together without be tough or chewy. The pork and ham were tender and moist, the cheese was melted and gooey and the mayo put it over the top. Yum! I should have only eaten half but I could not stop myself... nevermind about the rice and beans. They tasted ok but took a backseat to the sandwich and got mostly left behind. Lunch crowd was steady but not overwhelming. Good lunch stop on Ponce.

Their appetizers are definitely worth ordering and their Soursop milkshake is like drinking a cloud of HEAVEN! A great must check out restaurant

We have been twice now while traveling. So good! Chicken soup w/ bread one time. Torta w/ yucca fries the other time. Next time we go through Atlanta, we'll be sure to stop again.

My husband and I happened on Papi's in Midtown after visiting the Aquarium. He had the Ropa Vieja and I had the Tostones with shrimp. Both meals were excellent. The service was wonderful. Our waitress and others kept checking on us to make sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely make sure to come back next time we are in Atlanta.

We got exactly what we came for. Some good Cuban love in 2 Cuban coffees. The ambiance was authentic and the place was packed. Food and drinks were flowing. I had the Cuban Sandwich, it was really good, but it was premade as some of the bread was soggy. Still delicious flavor. My wife had the Palomilla steak, very good! Definitely worth the stop.

Great food, great service, great value..... we had to wait but definitely worth waiting for. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I found this gem of a place wandering around and it was awesome. The Cuban sandwich and Vaca Frita were so good as well as the appetizers. We ordered some drinks and those were some tasty adult beverages. Our server was so friendly and quick to our needs. We highly recommend Papi's!!

Late Sunday Lunch; Never disappointing—- but very crowded —- they need to expand. Frozen Mojito was refreshing

Lunch here was definitely worth the walk from our hotel. I had the pork and it was very well done. Very juicy and tender. My better half had the grilled chicken and that was just as good (I stole some off her plate) I definitely recommend the food. Service was good but slow at time but that was because it was packed.

This place was wonderful. The food was delicious. I got the jerk chicken platter, and everything on it was tasty. The chicken was tender and so flavorful, the plantains were perfect, and there were black beans and yellow rice, too. Plenty of food for a great price. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this place.

I just arrived alone and they just offer me to sit at the bar, because I refuse it, then they told me that I have to wait but outside in the cold, that I can not stay inside even in the bar waiting. They really mistreated, they should hire people with manners, very disappointed and unprofessional.

Small cozy restaurant but loud! Screaming kid the whole time we were there but service was quick and food was good. Must have an ID to order drinks even if you are way past 21 years old!

Stepping into Papis was a step back into the Caribbean restaurants in old Havana . Tables seating six to eight people on a bench allows strangers to mingle as they dine on traditional dishes from Cuba and other Caribbean countries . Not a fancy place but the atmosphere is very warm and the service was great . The menu had a variety of beef, pork ,chicken and seafood entrees all reasonably priced . The portions were generous and very tasty . A good place to visit for a different experience in the deep south.

Great food but horrible customer service! Please do not go by the online menu definitely not right. I had the fish sandwich and it was delicious! You’ll enjoy this quaint little place. Customer service really really needs work but the food is delicious. Parking is pretty tight so have patience.

The waiter wasn't able to answer a few questions regarding some of the menu items. He was rude and sassy. When our food arrived it was not appeasing to the eye and the taste confirmed how it looked, not good at all. The bread on my cuban sandwich was not even close... The coffee was just ok.

I was craving some caribbean food while visiting Georgia, and this place came up in my searches. Great choice! I was there right when they opened, and they welcomed those of us waiting at the door with a friendly greeting and got us to our respective tables The food was great, and served promptly. I'll need to go back someday if I'm in Atlanta again.

No one in their right mind would do this restaurant when they had to catch a plane. The food may be OK but the service is so slow it's almost impossible to have any chance to enjoy your food. I ordered the race sandwich and 30 minutes later it still had not arrived. Hard to imagine they can stay in business in an airport

In my circle we call this a hole in the wall. Now don't get me wrong. Our group goes out of the way to find spots like this. Went there 2-3 times a month when I worked closer, and still go on occasion when we need something a little different. Overall a great little place. Sitting can be difficult during lunch hour, but the food is worth the wait,

Hubby and I went to Atlanta for the day and he insisted on stopping by to have lunch here. Well, I am certainly glad he did. I had the best empanadas, plantains and rice and beans that I've ever had. He really enjoyed his Cuban sandwich and we will definitely be back the next time we come to Atlanta.

I dined at their Atlanta airport location and I was very pleased. I was greated by a very pleasant hostess/server and was seated promptly. The menu is somewhat limited but I chose the Papu's bowl with the shrimp. The red beans and rice were very good as was the shrimp but it was the plantains which stole the show. Along with the wonderful sauces, the dish was wonderful. There is a good selection of beers but I did make the mistake of ordering a large beer. The large is 32 ounces and was really more than I wanted. The small is a pint and that would have been sufficient for me. Nonetheless, I loved this place and recommend it highly.

As a cuban raised in Miami (the capital of cuban food), I can tell you that we were pleasantly surprised with Papi’s...their food and service was superb. We had vaca frita (both, beef and chicken) with platanitos maduros, tostones and yuca frita.. the cilantro sauce is to die for. #notatourist.trap

This was my first time in Papi’s. I was looking for an authentic Cuban/Puertorrican meal. This is the place! The flavors are authentic. The service was superb! Great place to have great food.

Ate at the Papi's at the airport while waiting for a connecting flight. Waitress was great. Mentioned that we only had 30 minutes and she made sure we got our food quickly. Had the Cuban and kids had Empanadas. Beer was good and cold. Much better thn eating fast food.

Best place to eat at the airport in Terminal T. Patrice was delightful! She took care of my husband and me. The drinks were awesome and the food was delicious!

I always have the ROPA VIEJA. It's a dish with shredded beef, onions and nicely slightly spiced. Nothing spicy. Just nicely flavored with Cuban seasoning.

We ordered jerk chicken salad, roja viaja, and fish fillet. Everything was fine but we have tasted much more flavored Cuban food elsewhere.

My husband and I love empanadas, and an internet search showed us that Papi's has them in several varieties. Drove up there mid afternoon on the Sunday of July 4th weekend. Were fortunate to get a parking spot in the fairly small lot behind the building. They are located just across the corner from Mary Mac's, which has always been a special place. It seemed that we got there just in time (around 4pm), as just after we ordered, many more people came in, and the place was really full by the time we left. It is not very large, and has two sections separated by a few steps, but they've done a good job getting as many seats in there as possible. Upper section has a bar plus tables, lower section is just tables. We sat in the lower section. We started with yummy mango Cuban milkshakes (I would have gotten passion fruit but they were out of it), and the empanada sampler platter, which is wonderful. Normally has 1 each of beef, chicken, ham + cheese, and guava + cream cheese, but they were out of guava, so let us choose an extra meat one instead. A pleasant surprise was that the empanadas were a bit larger than most, and as expected, they were all delicious. It would be difficult to choose a favorite! Next, we got a traditional Rey's Cuban sandwich - huge and very tasty - but needs some mild seasoning in the pork - and more mustard. Loved the fresh authentic bread, real cheese, and ham, plus the tender juiciness of the pork. Also chose a mojito to share - fantastic and refreshing, but the truly grand finale was their awesome mango cheesecake topped with whipped cream and drizzled with kiwi-lime sauce - wow! Service from Madison and a Hispanic guy was fast, friendly, and much appreciated. We plan to return there for more empanadas, milkshakes, mojitos, and mango cheesecake sometime after they have re-stocked guava and passion fruit. Thank you, Papi's, for a really great meal. Highly recommended!

I am a recent transplant from the largest Cuban populated city in the US, Miami Florida. I KNOW GOOD Cuban food. My family cooks it, I learned tried and true recipes from the age of seven and I cook it, friends families AND bomb restaurants in Miami cook it. The most I can say is their dishes are Cuban inspired. To those that don't know any better it would be passable, plausibly delicious. To those that do, the food was lacking the "sazon" that great Cuban food has. Tostones served with a spicy garlic sauce reminiscent of a Peruvian restaurant is not authentic. Gelatinous mojo that had to have been poured out of a gallon jug, tender but flavorless Lechon asado with no onions, frijoles with a spice added...not cumino...something else that made them taste more like Tex Mex than Cuban and the largest offence NO ROPA VIEJA. NO BATIDOS DE MAMEY. Supposedly RV is only served weekdays until 3 pm. At a CUBAN RESTAURANT. It is the NATIONAL DISH! Imagine a Jamaican restaurant not serving jerk. Or Puerto Rican spot with no arroz con gandules. Cuban what?! Where? I am so offended that this imposter has set up shop here opened several restaurants and is doing fairly well it seems because selling this mediocre representation of my people's food to unsuspecting people who don't know any better. I will be trying other spots and will report back when I find Cuban food worthy of the name.

I must say that this place was very good. I had "Rey's Cuban" sandwich. I really enjoyed it. The bun was buttery and crunchy just like on TV. The pork on the sandwich was not amazing. It was a touch dry, but still tasty. Next time I will get the ham and cheese or maybe the Jerk Chicken. My wife is crazy about yucca fries. Theirs were a bit stringy and under-done. Very tasty, but not amazing. I enjoyed the garlic dipping sauce. It reminded me of middle-eastern sauce. The show stopper for me was the "TRES LECHES CAKE". If for no other reason, go there to get this cake!!!!!! I have had it at several other places before, but none this good!!! Definitely going back for more cake.

My daughter and I were in Atlanta and the restaurant we were going to eat at had to long of a wait so we saw Papi’s while walking. What a great surprise. We sat at the bar and she had the best Mojito along with the food was fantastic. We have recommended Papi’s and plan to go back again soon.

I grew up in Tampa and as a result have strong opinions about Cuban food. I was surprised to find this small authentic Cuban place in Atlanta. In Tampa or Miami Papi’s would be your typical neighborhood joint but its real Cuban food is rare in Atlanta so getting to this downtown take out/bar/sit down place is worth the drive. The ropa was very good. The black beans were great and the house made Cuban bread was almost as good as Tampa’s La Segunda Bakery’s loaf. Service was excellent. Vibe was low key and about as casual as an upscale sandwich shop. Located across the connector from Georgia Tech. Parking is tough but worth the effort.

Saw Papi's in the Atlanta Airport while on a layover and decided to try it for dinner. The Bride and I were very pleasantly surprised at the great quality and reasonable prices. One would not expect to find a great Cuban restaurant at an airport, but Papi's certainly was. We both had two different sampler platters and even took some home with us. The wait staff ladies were pleasant and vey efficient. The food was delicious, served piping hot to our order. The only thing we were sorry about is that there were some things available at their other locations that we would have liked to try. Maybe we just need to take a trip to Atlanta to eat at another location. This is one great place that is a MUST for Cuban food lovers.

This was close by our AirBnB, and came recommended. This is the best food I had in 3 days in Atlanta. All of our meals were great, but this one was tops.... THE best. The flavors were excellent, and we all left with a full belly. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll be coming back here again, and you should too!!! There were only 2 waitresses for a small restaurant, but they managed to fulfill everyone's requests, and smiled all along. I visited on a Tuesday, and there was a wait outside the door for dinner. I recommend getting here early on a weekend.

Amazing Cuban food. Pollo vaca! Seasoned to perfection. Great tasting black beans. My husband had the steak and it was tender and tasty.

Just stopped by for lunch with my wife and son. So after waiting a few minutes to suit. Ordered usual soft drink, answer, no we don’t have it. Ok ordered ropa vieja, a staple at all Cuban restaurants. We don’t sell it on Sunday We had also ordered an appetizer that we never got. I asked for the bill for the 2 sodas we had , paid and left. On my way home realized they charge me for the appetizer that we didn’t get. Never returning. Would advise to call first to see if they happen to have what you want. And no apologies from anyone.

We lived in FL and grew to love Cuban food. So, we look for Cuban wherever we go. Papi’s was about as good as the FL Cuban we have enjoyed. We did takeout for 6 people so we got a good variety of food: papa rellenos, tostarones, lechon asado, ropa viejo, roasted chicken and rice, Cuban sandwiches, and desserts. We had extra black beans and rice and plantains. It was all very very good. I think the lechon asado was especially good. We’ll do this again!!!

Papi’s Cuban food is the real deal. The Cuban sandwich, Palomilla steak, and Ropa Vieja are all top notch! We can’t say enough about this quaint neighborhood family friendly wonderful place! The food and service are awesome! A huge round of applause to Kaitlyn for an authentic cafe con leche!

If you are in the T terminal at ATL Papi's Cuban is a good choice. It is less crowded than some of the restaurants on the main drag in the terminal. They have both table service and carryout. If you have the time, sit at a table, have a beer and a Cubano sandwich or a dinner plate.

We were looking for something unusual instead of the normal chain food. They had a variety of food. I had to ask the server what things were and she explained well. The pictures on the menu helped.

So this is pretty decent Cuban without being in FL! We came for dinner early cause of parking. Had two cocktails, Mojioto & Havana something ( fresh pineapple juice and white rum) they were awesome. Ordered plantains with empanadas sampler. Wow!!! Empanadas were fantastic!! Great combo of meat and sweet! Great with the cocktails. I could have stopped there. Oh no! I had the pan fried pork with caramelized onions on top, black beans mixed with Rice so good! Hubby had special roasted Pork that was shredded in sauce. I can't remember the names but I did take a pix of bill. For $52 we have had less!! Great place but casual. Lunch, dinner or just cocktails yum!

We have just returned from our U.S vacation and found this restaurant on our very last day. What a find! My Husband and I both choose from the $8.00 lunch menu and wow we were disappointed! Mouthwateringly tasty, lovely and hot ( temperature wise), a nice gentle warming spicy and morish, great atmosphere and super cool surroundings. This was our first experience with Cuban food, and we wish we didnt live the 4,500+ miles away from the restaurant, it was so good. Even though we choose from the cheap lunch special the server was so attentive and friendly. Many thanks to you all at Papi's cuban for looking after us..we hope to visit you again some day

Love this place. I drive from downtown to eat here. Usually always a good experience. I'll be back to see if the jerk isn't as dry over usual and add 2 stars back!. Good stuff!

Not much room to stand while waiting, but it is totally worth it! The medianoche Cuban sandwich is delicious! The sandwiches are large and the beer is cheap! What could be better?

Unassuming location, no frills, but full of personality and super friendly. Ordered specials off the menu, received a full plate that was seasoned just right, full of flavor and very affordable.

Great place to meet friends! Huge portions (may want to share!). Service is always really good. Food is fabulous. Love the "Cuban".

“Do you make REAL espresso?” We asked. “Si, si - real espresso we can make...” But the fluid we got wasn’t REAL espresso made on a REAL espresso machine. It was the usual American brew they CALL coffee. To a European there is a BIG difference. The waitresses were very nice, though.

The food is delicious and great seasoning. Delicious Guanábana juice and perfect Tres leches cake. Affordable prices and good portions. Amazing customer service as well.

Everything time I come to Atlanta I make sure we come to Papi's. Their food is amazing! !! Great prices too!!! Oh and don't forget the drinks!!!

Enjoyed the restaurant, the food was excellent and the services was just wonderful. My husband and daughter got this coffee that is very popular I'm not a coffee drinker but I did tasted it and it was good.

EVERYTHING is Good- i especially enjoy the Ropa Vieja and their Chicken Soup! The buttered Cuban Bread is Delicious... and with a cup of Cuban Coffee- Yum!

Went there for my birthday, first time ,the food taste good but the attention of the waiter didn't like, service was bad. Good music. / Fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños con mi familia,la comida sabe bien , pero el mesero ,el servicio estuvo muy malo. La música es buena.

We dinner here last Monday night based off of recommendations from our hotel staff. It's did not disappoint. From the drinks to pur main course, everything was good. The place was packed, but we were sitted within 5 minutes. Our bartender I like her name was Maddison (long red hair) was a doll. She made our drinks so good I ordered 2! We enjoyed her because she held conversation and she loves what she does. I would go back here anytime I'm in ATL.

Wow! We’ve made a few Cuban items ourselves but this place is layered with flavors! Jerk chicken sandwich fabulous, appetizers fabulous, the Cuban fabulous!

I went in and place an order to go. The entrance area wasn't overly clean, and the man who took my order wasn't very nice and I kind of felt as I was an inconvenience despite the restaurant being completely empty. With this as my first impression, I wasn't expecting much of the food, but I do have to say my Rey's Cuban sandwich was really great. Too bad the service couldn't have matched the food quality.

Early morning ATL breakfast before flight. The Cuban coffee and the BEST pancakes I have ever had. Husband was jealous that he had not ordered the pancakes. The hostess and the waitress, Ashonte, sported big smiles and pleasing personalities. Regret not having time to enjoy lunch on our return flight.

We decided to stop here for lunch on our way to Charleston, SC, and we were glad we did! We ordered a few items to sample including Empanadas, Tostones, and Cuban sandwiches! The Empanadas were so flaky and fried golden brown. They were surprisingly light for being fried pastries. Both the beef and chicken were great, but beef was everyone’s favorite! Gotta try dipping them into Papi’s Special sauce and Salsa Verde. So much flavor, bright and fresh! We purchased a couple bottles to take home with us too. The Tostones are crispy, fried plantains that you can also dip into the Salsa Verde. We should have split Rey’s Cuban sandwiches, because they were loaded with juicy pork, ham, and Swiss. The bread was fresh, pressed and grilled, and the pickles and sauce brought everything together! I couldn’t eat a Cuban without having a freshly made mojito to go with it. Very good lunch! Thanks for everything!

Fun and busy spot for a meal. The Cuban sandwiches were awesome. Met some friend there before and concert at the fox and quickly found out that you gotta get there early on weekend. Easy to get seated with 4, but our party of 6 had to get creative to be seated.

The decor and ambience were enough to draw me in, but the menu promised more than it could deliver. My authentic Cuban dish included the driest pork I have ever tried to eat, and the shaved carrots in the salad were so dehydrated they looked like orange construction paper. The margaritas were excellent, however, so I drowned my sorrows by ordering two. I write this review in hopes the kitchen will read it, since Papi’s deserves better.

Delicious food in a totally ATL vibe place. Feels like home with a great chef and familiar servers. Chicken, shrimp....it is all good. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

Closed on July 4th but service was adequate as was the food. Caribbean food, served hot it was ok and enjoyable but nothing to make lasting memories. As stated before it is an adequate restaurant.

We tried this out for lunch on Saturday. I had ropa vieja and it was great. My favorite was the side of Maduros (fried sweet plantains). I would definitely try again. My biggest complaint is parking. There is no designated parking. I had to park on the street on block down and came back to the car to find a parking ticket although there was no sign within reading distance stating it was a no parking zone unless you have a residential parking permit. So go and enjoy the authentic food, just beware of where you park.

Food and service was excellent. Late night dinner after graduation ceremony, Saturday night. Place was crowded got a table pretty quick, seated by bar so music was pretty loud. We did enjoy our food and the music and watching dancers, but conservation was between music sets. Totally worth it for the food.

I stopped by Papi's with a colleague recently for a long lunch. The food and drinks here are great! I was really impressed by the value of their daily lunch specials. I was also a big fan of the deep-fried food sampler (which, I suppose, is a hybrid of Cuban and Georgian food). They also have some tasty cocktails. This is a great place to grab a fun lunch in Atlanta.

It’s a good place to have “ok” cuban food. The service is not their best strength. Greasy tostones, burned maduros, and medicine taste cocktails. However, their arroz congri is good, and their mojitos is the most authentic I’ve ever tried in the US. Their Yuca al mojo is really good. It’s an Ok experience. There is a big room to improve.

Very relaxed and friendly service. Excellent choice of entrees. The chicken empanada was excellent, the white sauce that goes with it was very tasty. The pork masitas were perfectly cooked. It was a very nice dinner .

That was the first time that i tried cuban food and i have to say that i loved it. I ordered pollo vac style and it was delecious. A good option in Atlanta...

It's a little like a dive cafe but we sat ourselves next to the window and enjoyed our experience. Our server was friendly and helpful offering suggestions. The mojito is phenomenal. Order one. We started with the empanada sampler with half beef and half chicken (4 total). Both are good and we were split on which was better. Nice spice. They served a spicy sauce on the side along with a garlic aioli, both good. We ordered the grilled fish filet which had great flavor, pollo vaca frita which we decided was our favorite, and lechon asada (slow cooked pork) which was good but just not as flavorful. We finished with tres leches and loved every bit of our dinner. This is definitely a place to add to your list.

While traveling south, we spent the night in Stockbridge, GA. Papi's was near the hotel, and our daughter, who had lived in Atlanta, recommended their food. Because of Covid precautions, we chose to order for pickup, which went through a third-party site, Chow Now. We placed our order and almost immediately received an email saying we would be notified when the order was ready. An hour later, I called the restaurant and was told it would be another 15 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, the order was still not ready, but they were obviously quite busy. Finally I was back at the hotel and ready to eat. The food, unfortunately, was bland and lukewarm, although the portions were huge. My wife's shrimp had no seasoning on it at all. And the kicker? The next day at noon we received an email saying our order would be ready at 12:30.

Food was nice but not the best, the prices were reasonable but not a place that will be memorable or ill consider going back.

The server was awesome, I had to catch a meal just before a flight and she made a great meal suggestion, and made sure I was taken care of with time to spare. There should be a sign please seat yourself, but other than that no complains. Food was great, service was good and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I will be back.

We ate here for a rehearsal dinner and instead of table service we enjoyed a small buffet. prepared just for our group. We enjoyed their pork, chicken dishes as well as Cuban sandwiches. We also had beans and rice and plantain. All were excellent. Very surprised that such good Cuban food could be found this far from Tampa or Miami.

Delicious cuban food! Specially "ropa vieja" sandwich or full meal. One of the best in Atlanta. You will not regret.

I have not, but if this is what it taste like, I am booking a ticket. This place was enjoyable and the food was fresh and tasty. The empanadas were excellent and the marinade for the pork was worth stealing. The portions were large. You will not leave there hungry. This warrants a return trip for sure.

Authentic Cuban food! Very good variety, generous portions and fair prices. Service was quick and efficient. The flan was excellent!

Amazing food! Flavorful, well cooked, and big portions! The sandwich bread is incredible. Grilled fish with plantains, rice, and beans was wonderful. Guava Cuban milkshake was refreshing. Lots of people picking up take-out while we were there, so they clearly do a good business. Will absolutely return!

Looking forward to a Cuban sandwich, very disappointed. All I could taste was the pork, it overpowered the sandwich. Could not taste the ham or mustard and just one small pickle.

Everything was good. I would order again and recommend it all. We had the empanada sampler platter with 2 chicken and 2 beef. They were flavorful and the crust was perfect. Dipping sauces also great. We split a Cuban sandwich since they are large with rice and beans on the side. Got mojo sauce to dip in. One of the best mojo sauces I’ve had. Mojitos were delicious. And had a Cuban coffee to finish the meal.

We love Caribbean food and tried this restaurant during a day trip. The food was good. The prices were moderate. The location was ok. The staff was also just ok. Nothing stood out to me as AMAZING or EXCELLENT, but I would say that it was ok. We didn't regret eating there as everything was good and are willing to try it again before making a final verdict. I would say you should try it.

Great surprise. Friendly staff and very affordable. Get the 24-hour slow roasted pork with yellow rice.
As good as the review says
We wanted to eat something we never had before and googled up places to eat in Atlanta. We found a "49 foods you should eat in Atlanta before you die." And this place was on the list for their Cuban sandwich. And we loved it and agrees with the recommendation. We got there at 1240 and was seated right away. The restaurant was small but clean. The server friendly. We got our food quickly. It was hot and full of flavor. We got the Cuban sampler, Cuban sandwich with beans and rice, and flan for dessert. My husband and I shared the meal and we pretty much cleaned the plates. Everything was delicious! And having never had real Cuban food, we felt like the food was unique in flavor and preparation and different than our norm.
