Our group of three had different meals and each one of them was amazing. Service was outstanding and friendly. This is a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion!

I always love Pappadeaux when I get a chance to go, so haven’t been to one in awhile. Was surprised to see the crab fingers. These are fried blue crab claws, which I ordered both the appetizer and the entry. They were excellent, I could eat them every day! I’ll be back soon!

So I finally made it here after tired of hearing how great it was from the mister. I have to say, that it is all that and then some. The restaurant was packed and I had thought we would wait a while to be attended to, but our waiter was there almost as soon as we were seated. First I would like to say that it is definitely not cheap but then... good things ain't cheap. The portions are super generous so again, it makes the price you're paying worth it. And if you have a sweet tooth, they have an amazing selection for you.

Just visited Pappadeux’s in Dallas for a business lunch. What great flavorful food. It is mainly seafood but has a few other things on the menu. The crawfish bisque is to die for. Great atmosphere as well

Visit was awful staff was rude management would not talk to us I will be notifying corporate about this matter

Went for dinner with colleagues who enjoy Cajun food. The appetizers were interesting, and the group ordered three different dishes so everyone could sample something different. The waiter was knowledgeable, so everyone got the types of dishes they were interested in. Presentation of the food was professional, and the Cajun afficianado in our group was quite happy with the food, which says a lot about the place, oassing a genuine Louisanan s taste test. Menu heavily seafood oriented, so if you prefer seafood, this is a great choice. It got very busy at dinnertime, another hallmark of a good restauraant.

Service is outstanding! Food is AMAZING! Huge servings, served hot and right away!!! Must go when in Dallas!

Pappadeaux is a great place to take a date. It has a full bar, and a large seating area. The food is great as far as the seafood, cajun food, and the pricing is reasonable. The service is also good. The location on 75 in Richardson is the best in my opinion.

Outstanding food. I recommend the Boudin appetizer. I love their shrimp and grits. Wife and daughters loves their salmon and scallops. Son in laws love their king crab legs. The service was outstanding + .

(This review is the Pappadeaux’s at the DFW airport in Terminal A) I had a meal tonight at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen at the Dallas/Forth Worth airport. My service and dinner were excellent… my server was Kaliah P. and she was super!!! She was super attentive and did a great job!!! Her boss, Racheal Kyle, also came around to make sure I was taken care of….. I was so impressed!!! Kaliah was a super server and helped me pick out my meals and drinks!!!! This place is super and I want you to come here!!!!! Great food and drinks and service!!! What more could you want from a restaurant???? Try this place in Terminal A!!!!!!!! The crab and shrimp cocktail was the best!!!!!Love this place!!! Thanks Kaliah P!!!!

the food was nothing special just barely. The gumbo had too much shrimp and rice in it. You could not stir to get any gumbo juice. the shrimp was overcooked very dry . The fried catfish shrimp platter was dry and no flavor. Very disappointing and was not worth the drive . I can say the spinach dip was great. The other couple ordered it.. I had been waiting to come here for 2 years. We was not pleased at all. Left the food on the table.

The stuffed crab and crab cakes were so delicious. I will be bringing the family in soon. I will always remember the first time I went here when I was 20 and my birthday was in 2 days. They are amazing.

I went for lunch, had a awesome "Hurricane" drink, fried shrimp, salad, sausage stuffed with dirty rice, chicken ceaser salad, mashed potatoes, did not want fries with my shrimp. Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly, ( I hate over seasoned food) just all around good. My waitress was nice, polite and helpful, this was my first time visiting; I live in Pennslyvania, Closest Papadeaux is in Atlanta Ga, so visiting Dallas gave me ca chance to experince Papadeaux

We enjoyed crawfish bisque, shrimp gumbo, shrimp poboys and delicious salads. Service is great and the venue is lovely and clean. This was our second trip. We still couldn't hear ourselves speak and could only hear the waiter if he leaned over and moved closer. The music is too loud. We were told the volume can't be controlled. It was deafening in the restroom.

We came here on our vacation to Dallas and were extremely pleased with our entire experience. The hostess and our waiter were so helpful and sweet. The dishes we had were amazing and since it was our first time they offered us a free dessert. We highly recommend and will be back if we are ever back in town!

Ordered the PO Boy sandwich in both catfish & shrimp and I’m not sure if it was because I have been in Europe or just travel period but it was awesome everything tasted great

The food is delicious like always. The waiter was sucky. I tried blackened tilopia and shrimp. I ordered pecan pie with sweet potato pie on the bottom it was not what I expected no sweet potato pie on the bottom. The waiter gets upset because I bought it to his attention.

Good eating and good service. The desserts were just over the top delicious. I had shrimp with pasta and my dessert was a chocolate brownie.

It has be a while since we had been there .. We received a coupon in the mail and decided to go on a Suday Afternoon around 4.. First I will say we had Nice Service.. ..My husband had Catfish which was ok.. I had crawfish étouffée.... almost <<>>$30.00.<<>>. which to be honest is really out of line .. but I did it as we were celeberating and had a coupon... Really expecting something special.. I basically had a plate of rice.. and perhaps a small cup of Crawfish Etouffee.. over the top..That was it .. Served warm.... What more can I say... except at that time of the afternoon I thought it would be quieter.. but No.. you could not hear yourself think.. I am tolerant but this was out of line in most every respect..

If you come to this area for Southern seafood, come to Pappadeux Seafood Kitchen! I made a reservation by phone and it was for a Monday night and I had to change it to a later time and that was no problem! In order to get prepared for this visit, I signed up for e-membership to their club and a few days later, I received an email welcoming me to the e-club and got a free appetizer coupon! The second thing we did was buy some Pappadeux gift cards at Target as you can get 5% off per gift card when using your Target Redcard to purchase the gift cards. Third thing was trying to get to the restaurant as we got lost using google maps and didn't realize that all the Pappa franchises are located together: Pappa Bros Steakhouse, Pappasito's Cantina, Pappadeux Seafood Kitchen are located on Lombardy Lane and Pappa's Bar-B-Q on W Nw Hwy. Well, we got there on time after all and we were seated in a large booth filled with Mardi Gras beads all around the booth! So festive and fun! We had our own private booth. Then I whipped out my free appetizer coupon (anything you want except for crab cakes, grilled Spanish octopus and lobster bites) on the appetizer menu. I let my hubby order the appetizer since he is fussy but he had his choice of crispy alligator, shrimp and crawfish fondeaux or fried calamari but he chose the lesser of the three evils that he doesn't want to eat! He ordered the large fried calamari and artichoke hearts and I was left to eat the tentacles! The fried calamari was delish! We shared a very tasty Pappadeux House Salad which had croutons, baby tomatoes cut up, red onion, egg, bacon, grated cheese, and creamy vinaigrette on the side! Our entrees were just as delish and generous! We had the chargrilled Texas redfish with broccolini and Costa Rican mahi and lemon chile crab! The portions were huge and fish was tender and meaty! We had to eat slowly and enjoy every bite! The service was friendly and attentive and our server said we could help ourselves to the Mardi Gras beads!

The place was packed on a Sunday evening. Many of the restaurants in the area were closed due to power outages, so this place caught all those customers. I had fried catfish fillets. They were too thick, but had a good fresh flavor. The gumbo didn't taste bad, but it wasn't gumbo. That was not a surprise as places outside Louisiana tend to have poor imitations of seafood gumbo.

Best of Pappas restaurants. Service is exceptional. Server is very knowledgeable and responds to requests quickly. Food quality and quantity is better than the Pappas in Clear Lake Tx. All the fried food here is well prepared and taste really good.

On our last night in Dallas, we went to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. The food was amazing. My husband had catfish with red beans and rice. I had the grilled Caribbean lobster tail. My portion was certainly big enough for us to share. The prices are reasonable for the food preparations and portion sizes. It was a great dinner.

Ryan made great recommendations for my brother and I to enjoy. He kept the flow of the evening smooth and he was very attentive. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were nice and professional. This location is pretty large and accommodating.

Airports often have mediocre restaurants. Pappadeux at DFW is exceptional. The restaurant is downstairs from the concourse (by stairs, escalator, elevator). At diner time, the place is crowded and kind of loud. But the service was great and the food was delicious, even if a bit expensive. One scotch and one beer = $21. The crab macaroni and cheese ($16) was really great and the Andouille and shrimp gumbo ($13) was spicy and quite tasty. A slice of garlic toast was a good addition for $0.99. Isel, our server, was attentive and friendly. We often travel through Dallas and this will be our dinner site from now on.

We both had the soft shell crab, pan sautéed, with dirty rice. That was our go to entree 15 years ago when we lived near their Richardson location Our waiter, Tim, assured us it would be like we remembered and was correct. Both food and the service was great!

Very good--the ambiance, which was impressive for a restaurant as large as Pappadeaux and the price which was quite reasonable for the amount and quality of the food Good--the food, especially bread and onion rings. The shrimp po'boy lacked flavor. Could have been better--the service, which was slow (at a time when the restaurant wasn't that busy) and was marred by serving the wrong sides. The meal portions at lunch are huge so be sure to have an appetite.

We had a very good dinner. Highly recommend the crab and shrimp cocktail, and the seafood Cobb salad. Oysters were also delicious. Drinks are pricey, and hubs martini was average. We thought it was strange to bring the appetizer out at the same time as the meal, next time we will order separately. Also, at the end of the meal, people were sweeping and deep cleaning tables right next to us. Wouldn't it be better to do entire, empty sections all at once, to be sure to not disturb diners who are trying to enjoy their meal.

We have tried Cajun food in several states and this place is very good.it is pricey, but we leave with leftovers. The crayfish etouffee and Mardi Gras Pasta are delicious. The place is very noisy at dinnertime, though, so don't go hoping to have a quiet meal.

By far, the most exceptional seafood quality, service great and enjoyable atmosphere of any restaurant in Dallas. This has been our seafood go-to for 20 some years and is always wonderful. The menu variety is unmatched and “it’s all good”. We each had a dozen raw Gulf oysters for an appetizer. Of course, we started things off with the hot French bread and butter and a couple of Old Fashions. If you can save room for the desert, it's worth it. See pictures

Everything here was good, the staff, the waiter, the food was good & hot, the drinks was on point, the bread was fresh & hot....Thank You!!!

I ate at Pappadeaux at the Dallas Airport while waiting on a flight. It was my first time, but I had heard a lot about it. I love the decor of the restaurant. The crabcakes were beyond delicious and the shrimp etouffee was good. I don't not if I'd have it again, it was good a filling. I will definitely dine here again the next time I have the opportunity and try some of their other menu options.

By far, the most exceptional seafood quality, service reliability and enjoyable atmosphere of any restaurant in Dallas. This has been our seafood go-to for 18 years and is always wonderful. The menu variety is unmatched and “it’s all good”. Our latest visit was Sunday, March 3rd, and we sat at a booth in the bar. We each had a dozen raw Gulf oysters for an appetizer followed by entrees of Spanish octopus and fried soft shell crabs. Of course, we started things off with the hot French bread and butter and a couple of Old Fashions. My mouth is still watering! The original and still the best - Pappadeaux!!!

Excellent food friendly service loved it Only second time here but same experience both time good food and service! If you like seafood check them out

Afternoon lunch during the week. Oysters on the half shell were huge and tasty. Shrimp and grits were awesome. Seafood platter was very good. High quality food and reasonable prices.

I stopped by during the Texas-OU weekend after the game. It was crowded. The server was so-so-good. The orders were not explained fully to the small group. Some food was received that was not wanted. All in all, we ate and left. Nothing magical occurred with service. There is a lot of room for improvement.

this is a one good placein Dallas to have dinner on the weekend especially summer or fall time. The seafoods is good but its little high end prices and the dink also good but expensive.

I am a picky eater, meaning if I order and pay for a meal I want it to be perfect. I was not disappointed. Both my husband and I were blown away by the atmosphere, the staff, and the food.

Excellent service and food was delicious I highly recommend this place. Family and I were the Dallas area to be at the Arkansas Razorbacks vs Texas A&M game At AT&T Stadium

On a business lunch with three colleagues. The menu was very diverse, with lots of options. House salad was great and grouper/crab meat/shrimp entree was really well done. Service was great as well. Couldn't eat dessert, but they sure looked good!

We stopped by after closing on our house at the title company. The lunch was so good on a cold and rainy day. Had the red beans, shrimp and andouille sausage lunch plate and the shrimp and grits. We could have shared either meal. Both were delicious. The cheese grits have corn and andouille stirred into them and are so good. I can't say enough and we will be back.

I do not have the pleasure of living in an area where there are Pappadeaux restaurants, so I go to one every chance I get! After a long day of cancelled flights and lost luggage, it was wonderful to have great drinks and food here for dinner! I got the redfish with butternut squash and it was just divine!! I also got my favorite cocktail, the Garden of Eden! We had great service at the bar and it was a nice way to end the day.

Our flight home from Dallas-Fort Worth was cancelled so we grabbed dinner and drinks at the airport before heading to our hotel for the night. We were tired and frustrated, and our server did a great job of brightening our mood. Food was good, and drinks were delicious.

The crab cake appetizer was awesome!! You should try the “Swamp Thing” mixed drink; my all-time favorite. The Praline Cheesecake was also faboulous — turtle brownie is really really really rich, so share it or take the half home. Service was great as well for a party of 7 with special requests!!

Went there for husband's birthday. We always go there when we visit our son's family from out of town. Since we moved to Dallas, we had not been there for a while. The décor is the same, but the food menu did change - less choices (seafood) for senior. So we had to go with the regular dinner. However the food portion size was still big and cooked just right. This time, we noticed the loudness of the crowd. Previously we also went on Friday nights, but the restaurant was not as loud. The only disappointment again was the service. Still slow as ever. Tried to locate our waiter seemed to be a difficult task. Also one suggestion for your seating. DON'T seat next to the emergency side entrance. Even the door was closed, people just ignored the sign and went out through that exit. The chilly wind came through the opening door would make you get sick.

Visiting Dallas for the 1st time to Visir our Daughter and Son-in-Love. Is he took us to Pappadeaux's for my Husbands Birthday Lunch her Brothers in San Diego Chipped in. The Restuarant is Lovely! The servers kind and Very attentive! A bustling, and Exciting atmosphere, as you watch the amazing meals make there way to the patrons! I'm not big on Seafood, my Daughter insisted I try her Rainbow Trout. Ohhh My it was DELICIOUS! My Husband was quite except for the frequent Mmmmm! This is So Good! He had Complimentary Shrip Cocktail (it was our 1st visit) Seafood Gumbo and Rock Shrimp and Red Snapper Dinner! I had the Ribeye Steak! Everyone was more than Pleased! Need Pappadeaux's in California Excellent Restaurant

Always a great treat when traveling, stop at Pappadeaux if there one close by. The food is wonderful, the service is great and is always consistent no matter which location you visit.

Had a reservation for 8PM and got there a few minutes early and was told to enjoy a drink on the outside while we waited to be notified when our table was ready. The heat was unbearable and the tables that were not occupied were all dirty, the front entrance was overcrowded and allowed no space for social distancing. We decided to step inside the bar to cool down a bit and was surprised to see all the tables in the restaurant being used, no distancing or care for the well being of customers or staff. Complete chaos, I saw customers sitting at dirty areas around the bar which were being cleaned while they sat their ...... I mean safety measures were completely non-existent. I got out of there and headed to Flemings where it was clear from you walked in that they were in compliance with safety measures and valued their customers and staff. At 8:45 we got a message that our table was ready, I laughed and told them we would be there after we finished our dinner at Flemings.

During a business trip, met up here with some friends for dinner. Great selection of food and beverages, with an emphasis on Cajun seafood. Not really any way you could go wrong here. Loved the place, would certainly return.

Went there when we were in Dallas on business. We had a coupon that when we arrived we showed our server. We were told that everything was ok, only to be told when the bill arrived that our coupon was no good. We were threatened with the police and were treated like we were trash! In so discussed and will never go back to this place.

Food and service are both excellent, just as every other Pappadeaux that I've been to. The gator was excellent. The fried and sauteed crab fingers were amazing. We had 3 different entrees and everything was done perfectly and portions, as always, were slightly over the top. Is it inexpensive? No - but it is worth every single penny.

We had a nice evening with the colleagues! Waiting time was about 30 minutes, so if you want to skip the queue, don’t forget to make the reservation! The food came quite fast and the plates are generous! The only negative thing is regarding the noise! If you want a quiet meal, this is not the place!

Reservation was not honored. We arrived early and told them we were there. Went to wait on the BEAUTIFUL patio. No call,so 15 min after our reservation we checked again and they said they had called our new, but there was nothing on our phone. They aid another 10 min so we went inside and stood near the hostess stand. When we were seated everything seemed OK, but they were out of one of the featured vegetables and the alcohol for one of the signature cocktails. Another cocktail was so sour it was undrinkable. Meals for 5 came out 2 at a time with about 5 min in between and the kids meal was served last.. Kids fried chicken came out as fried shrimp. Overall, our family all prefers the flavors and service at Razoos, and their prices are much more reasonable.

I stopped here for dinner before flying out of Love Field. Extremely friendly bar staff. My meal was also very tasty. I will return on a future visit to Dallas.

always outstandng food and service//the fish dishes are real and fantastic//the staff is sll about the service and the wine selection is off the hook

Great late lunch- lobster bisque a great, creamy way to start the meal. No wait at 3. Bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese & jalapeño is so good. On the Keto diet & our server was easy to provide substitutes for the rice. Broccoli instead of rice was easy. B was our server & she was on top of everything. This is my favorite when traveling to Texas. I’ve never been disappointed in any dish I’ve ordered.

Oh yea! Still the best seafood in Dallas area. Great seafood served in a comfortable atmoshere that is quiet enough to have enjoy the conversation and food at the same time.

Once I got started coming here I think I have to eat here whenever in town. The food is great the service could be a little better but the food makes up for the service. You never leave hungry.

To leave that is...omgoodness! Some of the best seafood and service that I have ever received! A more than sufficient menu options...a bit pricey but not overly so...nice sized portion and a more than satisfying meal...when the check comes you don't mind paying and tipping above the average ... beautiful surroundings, you'll want to sup there again and again!

Visiting the area from Baltimore and Ms. Sovereign was our waitress and she was DABOMB! The Food was Excellent! The staff in general was very nice.

Came here to have dinner. I had been craving seafood and this place came in highly recommended. I can honestly say it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is great, the décor is really good, the food is amazing and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely be back.

Meet a friends for dinner and it was a great environment to catch up. Great drinks amazing food love love love!

Great service with super attentive waitress. Our pre dinner cocktails from the specialty menu were very nice. The meal was fabulous, my salmon entree spectacular. Loads of folks there enjoying their meals as well. Very popular spot indeed.

Went for lunch with friends. Excellent service in a lovely restaurant. Warm bread to start with fresh butter. Had the shrimp and grits. Shrimp seasoned well and nicely grilled. Grits were creamy with bits of corn. Way too much sauce for me so I asked for plain grits on the side. Much better. I would order again with sauce on the side. Good food but meals are pretty pricy.

Our Texan friends took us here for dinner. Immediately taken to our table, served iced water and drinks order taken. Our entrees were a dozen oysters for $9.95 special. They were the best oysters I have ever eaten in my life. My husband had the lobster bisque. He said it was amazing. There were so many main meals to choose from. I choose the whole trout with spinach, capers, chopped walnuts and crab. So delicious. Fresh bread was bought out and drinks topped up. The service was incredible. We were all too full to eat dessert but the choices were incredible. If you are in town - visit here. It’s wow.

Had never eaten here before, so I had no expectations. One of the best grilled chicken lunch salads I have ever eaten. I will be back.

My daughter and I visited for an event we were in town for. We got there pretty late around 10. Our wait time was around 30 minutes. They are always busy because they are always good. We have visited before and the food is always consistent with large portions. All she ever wants are fries. But her mother is a foodie so I ordered a big platter of grilled seafood with Cajun style rice. It was absolutely delicious. Every time we come to Georgia we try to go here for dinner. You won’t be disappointed!

First time to eat at this location and lunch was amazing! Very nice service and all the food was fried to perfection - love the Sampler - the stuffed crab was so yummy and the shrimp is always perfect. Started off with the fresh shrimp ... There was so much food we could not finish it! You know you will always get a great meal here!

We love the Pappa's restaurants and always try to visit when we can now that we live in a smaller town without them. We were so looking forward to our favorite Crab Claws and Crawfish Bisque on this last visit only to find that they are no longer on the menu! What? We've been enjoying them for 25 yrs so that was a huge disappointment. Our waiter was ok, but not great. The food was had was good, but not what we had planned. Not sure we'll be returning.

I love Pappadeaux’s. I love that no matter which one you go to they have consistency of the quality of food. However their staff is different. In the Austin location it is absolutely always spot on great service. This location was lacking and customer service.

My cousins and I met for dinner at Pappadeaux. The service was excellent and the food was on point. I ordered the Yvette and my son had the Alexander. Both dinners included salmon and it was magnificent. The decor in was elegant and very beautiful. Love this place, it's my new favorite.

We met here for an informal business lunch and it was a good location for our meeting. It is quieter than a lot of similar establishments and the food has been consistently good. My business partner is originally from Louisiana and he always enjoys their cajun influence. Service on this visit was not as good as usual, but it was adequate. It wasn't too busy when we were here, but there was a short wait. We were told that due to COVID, they were short staffed.

Incredible Dinner tonight at Pappadeaux’s in Houston next to the convention center. The food was cooked perfectly and i loved it! The shrimp are so fresh, andouille sausage is excellent, thumbs up on the shrimp gumbo. You will certainly enjoy your dinner here! Gabriel the bartender really understands customer service. He has a great positive attitude!

We enjoyed a good lunch before heading to the airport. Good food and very nice atmosphere. The waiter accommodated our requests and food was served without a long delay. The grilled shrimp were a good size and the lemon Caper butter sauce added extra flavor to the meal. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal.

The food was great as always. We sat in the bar area in order to watch Sunday night football. The bartenders were very attentive.

Very good! Excellent food, our waiter was very nice, not very much traffic but we did go at 4:00pm, so expected. A little difficult to find, but easy enough. Prices were very high, might I add

Excellent food , service and drinks at the north Dallas location. I had a huge salad with chicken tenders. My son had a great soft shell crab plate and my wife had the shrimp and grits. Both were very good. Enjoy.

First time eating here, and I will be back! This will be a top 10 place for me, and that competes with all the 5 Star places. It was great!

Wow. We had some of the best seafood we have ever had here and highly recommend the seafood fondeaux, the crawfish etouffee, and the key lime pie. I was not prepared to be so impressed and will definitely be back.

One of my favorite franchise restaurant in Texas . You can’t go wrong here and food is always on point. Came here for Father’s Day and we ordered tons of apps and entrees for a family of 6.. crab lump , and shrimp coconut , seafood fondue and dozen oysters for apps.. for entree we ordered crawfish etouffe , Pappardelle pasta , crispy Atlantic salmon and scallop, Mississippi catfish and a special pasta with salmon , shrimps and scallops. Everything was delicious and they offer great services. This place is always good and everything on menu is excellent.

Great cajun food and huge portions!!! I come here everytime I am in Texas because the food is so good. I wish they would open one in California!!!

In town for business and this place came highly recommended. It is a New Orleans style seafood restaurant. I’m not one for spicy food but I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent flavors, not spicy. The portions are very large. My husband and I were able to split the grilled tilapia and lump crab dish with fresh green beans. Our waiter was attentive but not very friendly, he hardly spoke. The atmosphere is kind of dark and a little dated.

I just admit when we first looked at the menu we were a little price shocked. Over the last four weeks, we have enjoyed great food at affordable prices. That being said, the quality of the food was worth every dime. The Pappadeaux Platter has enough food for 2 or more people. We usually don't get deserts but the display plate was within site and drove us crazy during dinner. Never had such a large piece of key lime pie before, BTW it was great. The wife had the creme brule and wanted to lick the bowl.

My wife and I went to Pappadeaux's for dinner on our trip to Dallas/Las Colinas to attend a Mannheim Steamroller concert at the Toyota Music Factory. Now we have been fans of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchens for quite some time and have eaten at numerous locations but last night's experience was perfect! Throughout our time at Pappadeaux's, our service, meals and beverages were outstanding! Those, coupled with it being my 65th birthday, made for a fun night. We arrived about 5 PM on a Sunday night and was a bit surprised that the restaurant wasn't busier. Was advised that it happens when the Cowboys are playing and after the game, they will get quite busy. I enjoyed it, the low volume of customers made for a dining experience at a low sound level that made conversation easy. Ron introduced himself as our waiter for the evening and told us about an off menu item we might like to try - a red snapper fillet in a lemon butter sauce topped with 5 Rock Shrimp (taste like little lobsters) and served with sauteed broccolini. My wife and I ordered a spinach and crab dip appetizer and some cocktails while we studied through the menus. Let me say here that typically when I go to Pappadeaux's for dinner, my go to order is there fried soft shelled crab with a side of their dirty rice. Honestly, if I had better at any other restaurant, I certainly cannot remember where that would be. Tonight though, my wife and I both followed Ron's suggestion and ordered the snapper. So glad we did, it was amazing. Also, my first time to try broccolini. Had to do a little research on what it was - a green vegetable similar to broccoli but with smaller florets and longer, thin stalks. It is a hybrid of broccoli and gai lan (which is sometimes referred to as "Chinese kale" or "Chinese broccoli"). It too was amazing. Without a doubt, will be returning to this location of Pappadeaux next time we are in the vicinity. When we do, we will ask to be seated in Ron's section. I would suggest you ask for that seating too and enjoy his friendly and attentive service. Kudos Pappadeaux's and a special thank you to Ron for making the evening so enjoyable!

Pappadeaux's has very large portions and the food was excellent! I had the creole shrimp and grits and I will not go back to the grilled version. Our waitress was wonderful!

Over time, we have eaten regularly at Pappadeaux but the last couple visits we have been disappointed in the quality of food. Uncertain what is wrong but disappointing and we are reluctant to return.

Being a chef from New Orleans having written two Creole/Cajun cookbooks, you would think I would stay away from chain restaurants like this. The thing is, the food is excellent. I have eaten at Pappadeaux's every time I'm near one. There food is not to be missed.

My first time here. The beer was super cold, the gulf oysters were great, and the Grouper was EXCELLENT! I love grouper and this blue crab crusted grouper was the best I have had. Loved this restaurant.

I actually went to the restaurant at the airport but could not find in review list. This place has a great menu and all of the dishes are expertly and beautifully plated. I had what the patron next to me was having, a hand tossed shrimp cocktail. It was divine. My only problem is I hadn't noticed it had avocado in it, which I am allergic to. I simply removed and was ok. It was still the best shrimp cocktail I have ever had. My only complaint was that they had no non-alcoholic beer, but maybe that is because it was small bar at the airport. I looked on to other plates salivating at how beautiful and delicious they looked, I wish there was one of these where I live so I could try a new dish every week. Pappadeaux please come to Omaha, NE-we need you!

Friday evening dinner for family of seven. Kim was our server and she was great! The food was good, hot , and big portions- appetizers and dinners. Had to take half of my meal in a to go box, and it was even better the next day!

When an appetizer and two glasses of wine is eighty five dollars, that is a bit much even for a restaurant located in the airport.

Decided to go to dinner while in town for work. Did not have high expectations for a chain restaurant. We ordered and the food came out within a normal time frame. There was s light issue with my entree, so I addressed with the server Larry C. Before I knew it the manager was at the table apologizing for the issue and immediately advised another plate would be brought out and that she would cover the entree. Even after I received the new plate of food, she came back to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. I was extremely pleased with not only the managers handling of the issue but the fact the server got the manager involved immediately. The food itself was extremely well prepared and fresh seafood. I will definitely go back when in the area. I am aware mistakes sometimes happen, it is all in the way it is handled afterwards. Pappadeaux exceeded my expectations in that area.

The new smaller cheese bites appetizers are great, just pop them in your mouth!A great improvement from the cheese sticks.

Great atmosphere and exquisite cuisine! This place is definitely tops on the list when in Dallas. Affordable prices also!

Ok, i can't find the right listing for the airport, but if you have an extra 45 minutes, this is a must visit. Quick in and out, delicsious meals, large portions, a dramatic change from most airport locations. Yes, it's expensive, but in reality, for what you get (come hungry), it's not overpriced at all

This place never disappoints. We have been to the location in Atlanta and our first time here . The food is consistently cooked to perfection and tastes delicious. Well done!

We’ve been to Pappadeaux’s before. Our visit on Friday did not disappoint. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, and we will definitely be back.

I try to stop here when I'm in town. Great selection, staff and food. Never had to wait for a seat and the food is always really good.

There is not a bad dish in the house. My favorite is the gumbo and the the blackened catfish. It is also one of the few places that you can get "spaghetti squash". If you eating on the healthy side and love pasta as I do.

Business dinner with colleagues. I had the shrimp and grits. Creamy and flavorful. Colleague had the shrimp and lump crab salad and it was huge. Another had the scallops and said they were fantastic. Service was as good as the food. A little pricey but sooo worth it! Definitely give it a try.

Hubby & I have heard so much about this restaurant but had never had an opportunity to go. We visited on a trip to Dallas, it was quite busy. There was about an hour to an hour and a half wait. It took probably about 30-40 minutes to get sat which was better than what was quoted. The ambience was nice, the food is a little pricey but great portion sizes. The restaurant was fairly big, but it is Texas & everything is bigger in Texas. Overall the service was great, the food was absolutely AMAZING! We're still talking about it!

We were staying next door at the Marriott for business and came over on a Friday night about 6:30 p.m. The place was pretty busy, but we were able to get a spot at the bar for the 3 of us. We had Michael waiting on us from behind the bar and he was awesome. I highly recommend the Purple Voodoo (Ciroc Coconumt vodka, house made hibiscus grenadine, pineapple, orange & lime juices) - so good!! We shared the New England Lobster Bites - they were awesome. Then I had the lobster biscque soup and Shrimp & Lobster Cobb Salad. We ended sharing the chocolate cake for dessert. Since I have an allergy to nuts, Haley the general manager came and explained the dessert menu, which was very much appreciated. Couldn't recommend this restaurant any more, just sad we don't have one in WI.

We liked the atmosphere and the food here. A bit greasy but delicious. Many choices. Quiet place yo talk, as well.

Amazing dinner tonight at DFW Terminal A of all places. Trout and Shrimp were perfection, delicious and great service as well.

Amazing meal from start to finish. Pappadeux never disappoints. This is always my go to for a night out with my hubby. I love the food and the atmosphere

Came here for dinner on a Monday evening. We were seated promptly & our order was taken in a timely manner. It went downhill from there... We ordered a bottle of wine (more on that later) & when the waitress brought the glasses they had lipstick on the rims, were covered in fingerprints & dusty. We had her bring different glasses which were also dirty & one had a big chip out of the base so we sent them back again! All the while, we're thinking about cleanliness in the current COVID-19 situation - not good! In the meantime, our salads came - no dressing for mine - so I asked the waitress to bring it for me. Instead, she waited on other tables, took orders, etc. After waiting awhile with no dressing brought to the table, my husband went to the check in desk and told the staff, who sent the manager to our table. He brought the dressing, clean wine glasses & our bottle of wine, which the waitress never brought. After he opened it, poured us each a glass & walked away, we realized what we ordered was not the wine we were served. We told the waitress when she finally stopped by our table. She looked at the bottle & said it was what we ordered - but I clearly heard by husband order & this was not it! So again talked to the manager. Oh, and while waiting on the salad dressing & wine other staff tried to serve us our entrees - which we refused as I hadn't even started on my salad! When we finished our salads and drank some of the wrong wine, we told them we were now ready for our meals. When they came my side dish was cold, but at this point I was too disappointed & upset to send it back. I just wanted to finish my meal & get out of there! in a nutshell, we enjoyed the food, after having to all but go get it ourselves, but not the wrong bottle of wine so much. The awful service was absolutely not to be expected for a fine dining establishment like this! The manager, though, did the right thing and comped our entire meal other than the (wrong) bottle of wine. And he even sent to-go desserts along with us. It's too bad, but we won't be back for quite awhile as this was most stress inducing meal I've ever had!

I like the soups & Lobsters also also the service was great ,some times the orders were came very late because of the crowded.😊

Gate 25, Dallas airport, downstairs. This was an excellent stop especially if you have the time to sit down and enjoy a minute. The place was huge so we were seated right away there was lots of staff all very friendly and smiling. We had a few drinks and some crab, macaroni, and cheese, and catfish Poboy in the seafood bowl, all three got us down the road to our next flight! ‘especially the Rita.

Started with the seafood & sausage gumbo & Pappadeaux salad. Chocked full of shrimp, crab & sausage! Salad has eggs & bacon & homemade croutons. Fresh, hot bread! Try the pineapple Moscow Mule! Stuffed shrimp was perfect & we had no room for dessert. Go early & no wait on a Saturday night! Wish we had one in our town.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. We arrived at 1:30 and was seated promptly. We had John as our waiter. He brought out fresh hot bread with our drinks. We ordered the fried cheese as are appetizer. They were hot and cheesy with a crunchy outside. I ordered the shrimp poboy with a cup of gumbo. The sandwich was full of shrimp. The gumbo was full of sausage and shrimp. My wife had a side salad for lunch. Everything was great.

You can always depend on good seafood at Pappadeaux. Be prepared to spend a lot of money, because it is not cheap, but it is guaranteed to be good. The wine is overpriced for sure. I mean, come on, nothing by the bottle for under $41, and it isn't high quality wine. But although I don't go there for the wine, I still go there! Boudin is the best anywhere I've eaten in Texas. But I recommend you order something and have them split it into two entrees in the kitchen. You won't regret it. The portions are massive!

I found this restaurant at DFW and informed the server I have severe celiac disease. He brought out the chef, who provided options, explained what could be done, and made a delicious meal for me. It was a delightful surprise to find a nice meal prepared with care and safety. Thank you Jillian and the entire crew. You rocked it for a tired traveler.

On my 68th, my husband and I traveled to Dallas, Texas to celebrate my birthday at Pappadeaux's Seafood Restaurant. I ordered the Stuffed Rainbow Trout and the Lobster Bisque as appetizer. The Lobster Bisque was delicious. Embellished with nice pieces of Lobster meat and the soup portion of the bisque was something prepared for Angel's. My husband ordered Salmon Yvette. Just so happen, my name is Yvette. This Salmon tasted like the it was prepared for the gods. The whole evening was a total pleasure with Red wine and Daiquiris. So hurry up over to Pappadeaux's in Dallas and enjoy!

We were on a short getaway to the Dallas area when we decided to have dinner here. The restaurant is comfortable, quite large, and very well staffed. I have allergies that make it difficult to eat at seafood restaurants. Upon mentioning my allergies to our server, a floor manager was almost immediately at our table verifying my dietary needs, and explaining options for preparing my meal. I was extremely grateful, and had a wonderful meal. They baked my fish entree instead of grilling. The service, ambiance, and food were all excellent. We would definitely return if back in the area.

The food was as good as it gets. But the service from our waiter, Brandon, was the best ever. He was friendly, helpful with a great knowledge of the menu. His smile is contagious.

There are 3 locations here is Dallas, and I've been to all em. My go to is the Richardson Location, well just because its closer to my home. Todd is the GM, and is Head of House. The staff is well trained, courteous and does their best to keep things moving, as this place gets moving at Lunch and dinner, Come at 1:30 pm and you can get a table without wait, Come at 7pm, and you may be in for a wait. But the food is worth it, with Fresh fish flown in daily, the choices are excellent and always evolving. My personal Favorite is the Pasta Mardi Gras, with Andouille Sausage, crawfish, pasta, shrimp, and Cajun cream sauce. But there are numerous Salad Selections to please any dietary needs, and the side dishes are both bountiful and plentiful. Don't forget to leave room for dessert because they are to die for (turtle fudge brownie is my favorite). Not cheap, but this isn't fast food either, I love the food choices here, including the Steaks.

Pappadeaux is always a mixed bags. Good wine selection and good happy hour menu. That is where it ends. I quit eating the full entrees because they are always soaked in butter or oil. However , good cocktails and appetizers or soup and salads. The place is packed most of the time..

We planned to get to the airport (DFW) early and have lunch. Terminal A. Saw pappadeaux, and got a seat. We've been to Pappadeaux in other locations and enjoyed. My wife had shrimp and grits that were to die for. Nice size bbq shrimp and wonderful grits. I stck with a burger and it was delicious. We both had bloody Mary's,,.. i opted for the spicy one. Wow, i like spicey, but jad to cut it with water to make it drinkable. I saw a lady a few tables away doing the same. Friendly waitress and a good pick for an airport. A bit pricey but to be expected.

My wife and I were in from Kansas City for just a couple of days and read the reviews about this place. We don't have very good sea food in Kansas City and Pappadeaux's was close to our hotel. My wife had the wild grouper and jumbo crab and I had the pasta mardi gras ( linguine) with crawfish, shrimp. andouille sausage and mushrooms. First of all, the portions were enormous...we could have easily split either the pasta, or probably her grouper as well. The creole flavors were great....no underlying fish taste...just a wonderful meal. I would have given the place 5 stars but the server had a bit of an attitude and they substituted shrimp for crab in the grouper dish without telling us. Now, they gave a great many shrimp....probably double or triple the weight what the crab would have been....and the shrimp was wonderful, but still should have said something about it to us. These were pretty small things and if i could i would give the place 4.5 stars rather than the 4.

Pappadeaux is one of those places that can almost become a destination / experience by themselves. The ambience is cool, service is good (almost too much), and the food is a character by itself. I have to say I am not a particular fan of the Creole / Louisiana style / Cajun food, yet I respect it, and can hardly think of a better alternative to taste it outside of its natural region. We had the alligator and oysters as starters, then I followed with a shrimp estouffe and a salad. Way too much food for my taste. Do go, at least once.

What a great restaurant! They bring the warm french bread out with warm butter, amazing. I had the blackened red fish with gumbo. Very Good. Bread pudding was also very good.

So we’ve been to Papadeaux several times now, different locations. And I’m confident in saying the food is microwaved. Room temperature outside, hot on the inside. Had the special Rainbow trout which was a little bland, overpowered by the butter. I’m sure the fried dishes are better, cooked to order. At these prices, I’d expect the food to be cooked to order. Giving it 3 stars for the coconut shrimp appetizer. Excellent start, but the entrees sadly couldn’t live up to the description.

This was our 10year wedding anniversary celebration. I had called and reserved the tables before our trip with the manager Teresa. Once my husband and I arrived in Dallas I called to confirm and make sure everything was in order for our big night with family. We got there early to make sure our tables were ready and to greet our guests. The food was amazing as always and our waitress Jasmine was the best! She was kind and attentive to our needs and handled our party of 10 perfectly. I asked to see Teresa who was busy herself with her own review by the big wigs. I wanted to thank her for being so kind and helpful with me planning this from out of state. Everything was amazing! I look forward to seeing you in another 10years for our special day but we will also be back before then.

Driving thru Dallas and passed a P-deaux. It was part of 5 or 6 Pappas Bros restaurants in a small area . Really nice facilities with great food. We just did appetizers, gator,a salad, dessert, and a special grilled spanish octopus which was as good as we had in Spain, and great mojitos. a little pricey when every thing is added up but well worth it. from past experience the shrimp and grits is great

Visited for lunch and chose to sit outside. Was a perfect day for it. The menu is amazing. So many great choices, it is hard to pick just one. This is one of those places I wish we could visit over and over so we could tty lots of different items. The table had Texas Redfish, Crawfish ettouffe, shrimp and a salad. Everything was skillfully presented and tasted great. Service was outstanding, we were well taken care of. Great place to eat, very nicely decorated. I would recommend this place for dates, "date night", seniors and/or families with kids of any age.

We stopped in for an anniversary lunch meal. Pappadeaux has always been a favorite and this trip did not disappoint. I ordered the lunch shrimp and andouille sausage with fresh green beans instead of beans and rice. The portion was substantial and flavorful. The buttery sauce was a great complement to the shrimp and sausage. My husband ordered the lunch fried catfish which included three large pieces of catfish. The breading was light which allowed the good flavor of the fish to shine through. We could have easily split one of the dishes but we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of flavors.

I had a long leisurely delicious lunch here - five hour layover. The very attentive waiter, Stevan, described to me what etouffee is, so I decided on that. He recommended a very good wine - so tasty I had two glasses. Even splurged on dessert - key lime pie - and when I spilled raspberry sauce on my sweater, he brought a cloth and soda water to clean it with. The people at adjoining tables were very friendly. All in all, it more than compensated for the delay.

I recently got take-out from here and was so impressed with the packaging of my food. They separated the sauce from the main dish so it wasn't mushy and even gave me extra hot sauce. Next time I'll have to eat it at the bar, it looked like a great atmosphere.

Pappadeaux Seafood is the real thing. Having lived for years in NO, this restaurant captures the flavor of the city, from the gumbo to the fried crayfish. At the DFW airport, it is its own special world, downstairs and away from the bustle of the travelers, it's a bit of a safe haven with a terrific atmosphere. The waitstaff is great, and the drinks, also strong and delicious. But man, it's a bit pricey, especially for some of the fried seafood, that, in NO, would be much cheaper at restaurants like Coops in the quarter. Still, when you want a break from arguing about flight delays and you have some time, it's worth it.

I always love to find a Pappadeaux restaurant they dont have them where I'm from so when I visit states that have them I can't wait to eat there.

10/10 would recommend ! Great portion sizes with the food crab spinach dip is my FAVORITE it’s Amazon love the bread it comes with! Salads great, catfish love it, shrimp love it, drinks love em ! I had the papparadelle pasta it was ok I didn’t like the taste of the sauce ! Follow me for more reviews on IG @Tacaraaaa_ & @Thelabbbb_

The food was delicious. The dining areas are comfortable and nicely appointed. The service (... or, at least, our server) needs improvement. Our server didn't get our orders right. He completely forgot to bring one entree and the bill was wrong (!). So while the food was very good, the overall dining experience was spoiled. I might go back sometime, but it's hard to recommend.

Excellent service even though a large crowd. Second time visiting this particular location but young man, KD, who served us was professional friendly courteous and prompt. Not to mention he remembered us from our first visit in September as well as what we ordered. Kudos!!!

Stopped here for dinner with the Hubby while in town for work. We started with the Crab Fingers, which were hot and fresh. He had the Mississippi Catfish Opelousas, a cup of gumbo which he really enjoyed. I had the Mardi Gras pasta, which is a personal fave. The combination of sausage, shrimp, crawfish, pasta and that creamy sauce makes me wish I had a bowl of it right now! The waiter even suggested to try it next time with just the white sauce, instead of what normally comes with it. Sorry no pics, it was too good and didn't get a chance. The server was fast, efficient and pleasant, offering answers to our questions and was great! We'll definitely be back!

I had a good experience. The service was good, the place was charming and the food delicious. Just what I needed,. They knew how to do all the standard seafood and salad dishes correctly. I needed this after a long airplane ride. Would recommend highly

Five of us had dinner here and all agreed the food was decent, seasoned well, and we were overall satisfied with our meals. The meals were large portions. I had the crab cake that consisted of mainly lump crab and little filler, which is a plus. The desserts were good and just like the meals, were large portioned. You definitely should not leave here hungry! I would not hesitate to go back to this restaurant again.

Had a lunch meeting here and and did not receive the same level of food and service I expect from them. We arrived during lunch hour so the place was crowded as to be expected. We waited a short time to be seated and then escorted to our table. The waiter took 10 minutes to come by to ask our drink order. Two of the three of us ordered catfish and shrimp blackened, the shrimp were small and the catfish was not even close to being done. Normally it just fllakes off but we both had to cur through it with a knife. After waiting 10 more minutes to tell the waiter since that is how oftern he came by we just ordered more shrimp to replace the catfish but after a 20 minute wait we gave up and said we would just take the check. That brought the check and nothing was done to the bill to correct the issue either. This is not my usual dealings with any of the Pappas chains so hopefully this will not happen again because 90 minutes for lunch is a little excessive.

This restaurant is big, has outdoor seating weather permitting, bar area seating and general area seating. There is a wait and depending on the evening and time could be up to 40 minutes, however there is seating around the bar and the booths around the bar are open to first come, which we didn’t know or would’ve sit there, hostess needs to let us know that when coming in. Wife and I had some drinks while waiting and they were priced averagely, bar staff was attentive and friendly. Most all the staff I encounter was proper, respectful and friendly. Once seated it took our waiter about 2-3 minutes to greet us, mind you there was a lot people and groups there on Saturday evening, so be patient. Our waiter was outstanding, welcoming and we ordered immediately. Wife and I shared sausage and seafood gumbo for appetizer and it was delicious, however could’ve went without the clams; UGH! We shared the 8oz lobster which was perfect, with mashed potatoes and broccolini (that was delicious and has a little spice kick). The food was enough for us to share as we don’t eat much, overall a great dinking experience, menu prices are expensive and we also received military discount which I’m thankful for.

When we go to this area we always stop in to eat. The food is some of the best you can get. Service is outstanding and this is a place you and your family will enjoy!

We loved our visit here and it started with warm crusty bread and butter! Shrimp cocktail to start was yummy! I had chicken and shrimp and a loaded baked potato and it was great. I recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

On a long layover at DFW, we decided to try this restaurant. The menu is focused on seafood, with an emphasis on southern and fried foods. We had the crab cakes (excellent) and the crawfish etouffee (good). We also experienced great service. For an airport food option this is 5 stars.

Dinner was great, nice atmosphere, great waitstaff, all items were cooked to perfection, will visit again when in Dallas

Excellent food and service (thank you, Ryan) A nice respite from the hassle at DFW I particularly liked given the choice of size glass of wine with dinner

We decided to stop on a rainy Saturday for our favorite appetizer-the oyster fondeaux. Pair that with a nice white and you are set!

Amazing food, great service. We were at the Airport and this food was the BEST airport food I have eaten in a long time. The prices were reasonable.

This is our favorite place to go for family meals, business affairs, church meetings and much more. We went 2/7/26 at 5:00pm the hostess and manager were so rude and could not accommodate our requests to dine outside. We informed them that we have to Forster children that are special needs and we needed an outdoor table. We were rudely told that we would have to order the food to go and take it outside. I asked why we couldn’t enjoy our meal on plates once we ordered and they both stated that they had no outside servers. There were several tables available and several people dining outside. My husband asked what about those dining outside and she responded that they had been there, whatever that meant. Still we were refused. We ended up at our usual table and as always the food and the waiter was spectacular!!!!!

Made an evening visit to Pappadeaux for a little taste of New Orleans. They have a wide selection to choose from. I chose the Costa Rican Mahi, shrimp, scallops and crawfish, with a little extra spice. Wow! What a great plate! I sure wish I would have had room for desert, but the main course portion was just too much (no, not too much). I will visit Pappadeaux again, and again

The Cobb salad with fried crawfish is large, delicious, and just over 1100 calories or so. The best part of this salad is I can eat half and take the rest home. It serves me all day. The service is remarkable and if there is any errors the management makes it right. A wonderful choice for lunch or dinner.

There are several of these in the area, we went to the one on Copeland. The rating is mostly based on the service. The food was great and everything we ordered was enjoyable, however, our server was very inattentive and not the most friendly.

Ate the the airport location during a recent layover. Great service...very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent food, had the grouper special. The three of us each had an entree, two beers, and we shared a dessert. The bill was $75 each. The meal was good, but not that good. You definitely pay a premium at the airport location. If you don't mind spending that much, this is a great choice. Value is the only reason I held back one star.

I had the best seafood dish of my life at Pappadeaux. I had a shrimp, scallops and Octopus dish over butter noodles in a lemon sauce with cherry tomatoes! Oh my god! I purposely did not eat it all so that I could eat the rest of it the next day! It was also reasonably priced!

Feb2025: 5⭐: I would recommend this location and this work group. I came to this location with my spouse to eat a late lunch and early dinner. We were seated quickly upon entering the restaurant adjacent to the bar in one of the circle booths. My spouse really enjoyed this location daily for lunch when working in the nearby office building. This location has plenty of parking spaces in the area and several handicap parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The parking lot is spacious enough for a crew cab type pickup truck to maneuver comfortably in the parking lot to find a parking spot. Host. We were greeted after being seated in the restaurant. The pace of our drinks and food was sufficiently quick for us to enjoy the drinks, the appetizer, and the main meal without feeling that we had been forgotten by the server. Our server was very efficient and mindful that we were there and his customers. This server definitely earned his 22% tip. The restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms when I went in to check. The food was hot when served and tasted as well as it looked when it arrived at the table. The bread one it was brought to the table was still warm enough to melt the butter and enjoy! I ordered the catfish and my spouse ordered the ginger salmon. We enjoyed the strawberry lemonade but one of the mocktails that I ordered was not good and too expensive for something I didn't like. June 2019: 5 ⭐: I came to this restaurant during the dinner hours. We spent a little bit of time standing in line but we were seated fairly quickly. Our server came by the table asked us for drinks and appetizers and was very professional. He brought the calamari appetizer and the drinks in a timely fashion. Power sued arrived within a reasonable amount of time after we place our order for the shrimp and grits and the crispy salmon. The food came out great and the server did a very good job of taking care of us during our meal. The restaurant was fairly full during the time of our meal so we decided we would sit for a little while longer and eat some of the pecan pie which was very very good and fattening.

Papadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Dallas is one of our favorite seafood restaurants. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. Gulf Oysters on the Half-shell are a must for me. Their trout and Mahi-mahi are also favorites.

This was my second meal at a Pappadeauxs in two days. Dinner the day before in Austin and lunch the next day in Dallas. I never tire of this restaurant. The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. I highly recommend Pappadeauxs.

We really like the redfish and shrimp dish and split it. They bring extra beans and rice. The frozen margaritas are quite good. Service is excellent. Friendly and helpful. Warm salsa with fresh chips served. The tamales are excellent. In August we ate the hatch green chili specials of enchiladas and tamales and they were so good we went back a week later. Now they are out of season but we will get there next August and September.

I took family members here to celebrate birthdays recently. It was a very busy Saturday night. At 6:00 there was about a 15 minute wait for a table. Once we were seated, our dining experience was over 2 1/2 hours. Dinner included drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Staff was attentive, but not so much so that we felt rushed. It was a most enjoyable and relaxing evening around the table with family.

In Dallas and finally got to eat at Pappas seafood. Stated with Oysters, then Greek Salad and finished with a bowl of crawfish bisque. All dishes were wonderful. Service was great!!!

On a business trip with a colleague. This was recommended buy some others and they didn't steer us wrong. GREAT place. Very busy but the service was EXTREMELY good and the food was over the top. A must visit if in Dallas.

Food and attention was fantastic!!!! Good price as well.I love that they will serve it split! This takes he hassle away from us at the table. They also don't mind adding extra sides to make them seem like an entire order...

Wednesday evening early dinner and still waited 20 minutes at the table before we asked a manager for assistance. But he graciously comped an appetizer and dessert. After that the service and food was great.

We had lunch at the DFW location. We had the shrimp Cobb salad and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were very good. The shrimp was plentiful and the burger was huge. Service was friendly and efficient. We recommend Pappadeaux and will return on are next time in DFW.

You can't go wrong with this place. The location is perfection! Located in a quaint spot just north of downtown Dallas and just south of Highland Park.

The food and the service were EXCELLENT. Really big portions, we ended up with two To-Go boxes! Highly recommend, but expect to spend about $25-30 per person.

We chose this place after looking here on TripAdvisor and it was well worth it. A little more pricier than your standard chains but better quality and you get a ton of food. We had the fried shrimp and the shrimp and fish combo. We could have split a plate and done an app or dessert. Our server, Simon, was great. Overall great dinner due to having to stay in Dallas unexpectedly.
Excellent Food
Great Louisiana cooking. Many delicious choices with several gluten free items. Moderately priced with good service.
