Sat outside with my wife. A bit chilly, might have been a day to eat inside, which was warm and cozy. Deviled eggs were just okay; lacked zip, kind of bland. Everything else was superb. My wife’s seafood omelet was large, stuffed with shrimp and crab, and the veggies (instead of potatoes) were great ... so she said. My pappardelle (sp?) was a delicious dish — lobster and shrimp with homemade tasting pasta served perfectly hot. Coffee (Lavazza) a nice finish. At $72 with a tip, somewhat pricey lunch, but worth it in my opinion.

What can I say? Everyone has a "happy place," and this is mine. I've been eating here for 30+ years. Went once a week with friends for years when I lived near. Now that we live in north Dallas, it's more for treating visiting family/friends, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. But, we try to get there as often as possible because it's just as good today as when it opened. Elegant, eclectic, excellent!

It is in the neighborhood and very good. Gone during weeknights and thoroughly enjoyed. And very Good and Reasonable Wine List!

recommended by the hotel. great food, great service and great atmosphere. if you're nearby, definitely go here.

My first time at Parigi did not disappoint. I loved the hip vibe of the restaurant that is located on Oak Lawn Ave. Parking, as always is a challenge in the neighborhood, but we were able to find something very close to the restaurant. First impression was that the artwork in the small(ish) restaurant was eclectic and engaging. I expected a more traditional French décor, and was surprised in how comfortable and hip it felt. My party of 4 were there for brunch. Of course we had Bloody Mary's. :) They were delicious and our waitress and bus people were attentive. Our food was excellent. My partner had the sea bass, one of the specials, and I had the lobster omelet. Our friends had the pancakes and the eggs benedict. My omelet was fantastic. Very flavorful and had just the right amount of lobster. The potatoes that accompanied the dish was my only disappointment. They were precooked and not that great. My advice is to provide piping hot, crispy potatoes or leave them out. Luckily the omelet was so good that I didn't care about the potatoes. My partner's fish was delicious. I got to try to pancake and that was good -- nothing to write home about, but tasty. We finished off our brunch with a shared peach cobbler and coffee. The cobbler was very good and the coffee good and strong. All in all this meal was superb. The wait staff contributed to the excellent experience, and twice the chef came out to see us personally. Well done Parigi -- we will be back.

My wife and I ate here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. A little back-story: we were on vacation in Durango, Colorado on the Fourth of July and were paired with a family (two parents, an adult son and his teenage sister) on a drive to Silverton between a rafting trip and train ride. The son turned out to be the chef/co-owner of Parigi. We chatted briefly about Dallas and Tulsa (I work in Dallas but live in both places; he had a connection to Tulsa, as well) and the fact that he owned this restaurant. I regularly go to Eatzi's and Green Papaya, but never noticed Parigi right in-between them. He invited my wife and me to Parigi's for our next anniversary, which would be three weeks later. So, come our anniversary weekend, there we were. The restaurant interior is cozy but elegant; conservative but stylish. The staff is very friendly, from co-owners Chad (the guy we met in Durango) and Janice (who responded to my reservation e-mail personally) to our waiter, Robert, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Although the restaurant was full on Friday night with several people waiting (we had reservations), we were never rushed. The food was delicious (I had grilled salmon with zucchini cut like pasta and some great mashed potatoes; my wife had the risotto, which she loved). The wine we chose - Riff pinot grigio, was a good pairing (fruity, tart, with a slightly salty finish, I liked it). We finished with what was probably the best dessert either of us have had in years - a brownie/peach cobbler combination a la mode. I don't know which was better, the brownie or the cobbler, and I'm usually not a big cobbler fan. The appetizer of the crab cake trio was tasty but tiny (crab nuggets I jokingly called them) and accompanied by a heart of palm pico de gallo that was more intriguing. All in all, I would definitely recommend this gem.

Nice food for Saturday afternoon. Casual service....almost too casual for the price point. French 75 drink was great.

We had dinner with friends at Parigi's last week, and my wife and I were disappointed. I had the short ribs, which were stringy and not as tasty as I can prepare at home. My wife had the shrimp, and said she wouldn't order that again. Our hosts eat there regularly, so perhaps one needs to know what to order and what to avoid.

They have these mushroom fries that you have to sample if you go there. Definitely a fall kind of place so that you can sit outside and observe the CRAZIES that are walking by.

We lunch at Parigi’s at least once a week. The menu changes every 2-3 weeks, so there is always something new to try. Of course there are always the old favorites, and lately not only is the food wonderful, but the presentation has become exceptional.

My friend & I were early for dinner. The staff was welcoming & friendly, & I believe that they bumped up serving time just to accommodate us. My wine was superb, & between the Shrimp Risotto & Grilled Arctic Char, I don't know which of us could've had the best dinner. Their combination of serving a peach cobbler & chocolate brownie/lava-type dessert was terrific. Our waitress was very nice & the manager was, as well, when both assisted my friend who burned herself on the dessert serving plate. We're very thankful to our sweet saleswoman @ Eileen Fisher for recommending Parigi to us. My friend & her husband travel to Dallas more often than I do, & she can't wait to steer her husband there on their next visit. I'll be there too on my next trip.

We went for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. The crab beignets and deconstructed Cali roll were fantastic. My girlfriend proclaimed the Caesar salad was the best she ever had. The papparadelle is not to be missed, the creamy sauce and seafood was seasoned just right.

Due to Dallas weekend storm, Toulouse on Knox, where we usually stop to eat lunch with our dog, would not be open till 5pm. We were returning to the Hill Country after our appointment & grabbing a late lunch (with our dog). Living in Dallas, 1969-1991, can't believe we never ate at Parigi's. What a delightful and scrumptious grazing, lazy late lunch on the beautiful treed patio with my husband and dog. Our server, Corey, was fabulous....so were the deviled eggs, pomme frites (actually better than Toulouse), pate, mushroom soup, Veal Milanese. A great menu and wine selection.....of which we would have ordered a bottle if we could have stayed the night at the Melrose down the street. Unfortunately, they are not dog friendly. P.S., Corey also surprised me with a deliciously, heavenly dessert for my BD...a "Half & Half"....yummmmmmy!

We decided to try Parigi for dinner. Prior to 6 PM an abbreviated menu with lower prices is provided. The Sea Trout was prepared very well, the service is good with attentive and friendly staff. The wine selection is good. Prices are reasonable.

From their award-winning Caesar salad to their incredible portobello fries to the most delicious beef tenderloin you've ever had, you simply cannot go wrong at this prized Dallas bistro. Half of the menu changes every two weeks and the other half changes seasonally. There is always something on the menu to satisfy everyone's taste(s) and the customer service is flawless!

We had a great dinner in this friendly bistro while staying in thenieghborhhod. The service was friendly, and the food very good.

The Dallas area has plenty of excellent restaurants, and whatever your taste may be, you will find it in our community. Of all the restaurants, of every type, Parigi's is the restaurant that most satisfies the tastes of each of us each time. This is a small, personal restaurant, with a variety of fresh daily specials, as well as a consistently appealing menu. The items are always fresh, and made as one orders, with fresh local ingredients (sometimes you will even encounter the chefs at the local Whole Foods). None of the meals are ever boring, and the creativity and taste is always a treat to the senses. One can eat inside or outside in clean surroundings, and notice that there are generally happy people there with you, enjoying their food and conversation. I never feel the element of time to be an issue while dining at Parigi's, which makes the experience even more satisfying. Either before or after an event in the arts areas, Parigi's always offers an excellent experience to add to the cerebral enjoyment of the day.

Excellent food and service. If you are staying at the Warwick Melrose which is one block away I would definitely recommend eating here. We found Parigi on our 1st night in Dallas and it didn’t disappoint. Although we had no reservation and the restaurant was extremely busy, we were quickly found a table and the staff couldn’t have been better. A great start to our holiday.

On a weekend trip to the DFW area, we shared dinner at this restaurant. We made a reservation about five hours earlier, day of, and though it was for 5:30, we accepted. Our drive from the DFW airport area took about 30 minutes and we easily found valet parking behind the restaurant. You must pull into the parking area behind the restaurant to find parking. Don't try to look for on-street parking as it is a busy area with many restaurants. The restaurant staff was welcoming and helpful. Our waiter was especially knowledgeable and prompt with attentive service. The menu was inventive and the food delicious. We liked the small appetizer of deviled eggs and the dessert was quite tasty. My friends said the steak was the best they've enjoyed and I though the halibut good too. We lingered with good coffee and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The kitchen is partially open to the restaurant and it is always interesting to see that activity. Though it's a small place, the restaurant arrangement allowed us a quiet enough space to enjoy conversation and a very good meal. We liked the table against the wall as it's always a bit quieter than being in the open where people can walk all around you.

I was looking for a good, dog-friendly restaurant to have dinner at and Parigi came up. A lot of great reviews on here so decided to check it out. Parking-wise, there's complimentary valet at the back. We had our puppy with us and were seated at the outdoor patio. Ambience was really nice and it's definitely a good place during those warm spring/summers in Dallas. We ordered the Devilled Eggs, Escargot, Pommes Frites, Texas Pasta, Pappardelle, Cake of of the Day and drinks. Devilled Eggs ($11) - Pretty good, but actually got this one for puppy and he loved it. Escargot ($14) - Not the best honestly, it lacked flavour and was a bit rubbery. The Baguette was good with the garlic butter, but the escargot really didn't have any taste. Pommes Frites ($7) - If there's fries on the menu I always have to try it and they were quite good and crispy. Pappardelle ($32) - Good quality ingredients, but really missing the flavour, felt a bit heavy as well. Texas Pasta ($22) - Again, great ingredients, but lacking flavour. Quantity of both entrees was good. Cake of the Day ($9) - Carrot Cake and this was by far the best dish of the night, so good we got one to go. Good size and amount of icing too. It was perfect! Drinks ($14.50, $13, $15) - Old Fashioned, Frozen Frenchie and Domaine Ott Rose. The Old Fashioned wasn't that great but the Frozen Frenchie was good. Didn't enjoy the Rose but that's on the Rose. Quantity 5/5 - Very filling, huge quantities - had to get both entrees to go. Ambience 5/5 - It was very nice, especially on a warm evening - the patio seating is perfect. Nice lighting outside, makes for a good date night spot. Service 5/5 - Service was fantastic - everyone was lovely and accommodating. We had our puppy with us and they were really nice, got him a bowl of water and even took some pics. He really enjoyed himself. Spice 0/5 - A given, wasn't expecting it! Taste - 3/5 - Have to say it was a bit average, nothing really memorable - other than the cake which was truly freshly made and perfect in every way. Ambience and service was great - dog friendly too, but as for the food it was lacking some flavour in a few items. Maybe we selected the wrong dishes for entrees, it wasn't bad just not great. It's a lovely place though and would be back to try some other items on the menu and definitely whatever is on the dessert menu. More of a 3.5 review but gave 4 stars as the service and ambience was on point and would be back to try some other items.

Exquisite food! Didn't get enough pics. Finest dinner in all of Dallas! Chef owner Janice is available and sweet and great Chef.. Server Daryl (female) was superb! Wine she suggested was incredible. Can't say enough about this quaint, classy, fine place!

This family owned restaurant has been operating for over 30 years. They personalize service to accommodate any requests. The service is fantastic and well appointed. The menu changes daily while there are certain dishes that are famous in Dallas. The restaurant supports local farmers for it's produce. The patio is wonderful for sunny afternoons and mild evenings. Extensive wine list, and well made cocktails. Favorite Caesar Salad ever...........

Friendly, convivial atmosphere, modelled on Parisian bistro principles. Innovative approach to menu, with frequent introduction of exciting new dishes. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is fast and cheerful. Wine list is impressive.

I have lived in the Dallas area for 18 years and I had no idea this little treasure has been here for over 30 years. I am hooked and can't wait to go again very soon. Apparently several very famous chefs got their start at this eclectic bistro and I can sure see why! The food was absolutely over the top, and the wine was superb. The owner is charming and the staff is attentive and friendly. The restaurant is small and quaint, and the kitchen is open for all to see. I felt very at home there and could not have been more impressed. I'm just sorry that I missed the first 30 years! You can bet I won't miss the next 30!

Although I've lived in the Dallas area for quite a while and the restaurant has been in business for YEARS, I had not heard of Parigi - Definitely my loss. Our party of 6 met for dinner and we were just delighted with the food and service. Beware that the entry is hard to spot from Oak Lawn, they have valet parking in the rear. They have an ever changing menu to take advantage of seasonal ingredients and to keep the menu fresh - what a great idea for more restaurants to adopt. Be sure to view a sample lunch or dinner menu to appreciate the variety of dishes and styles. Others have described Parigi as French or Parisian but I'd classify them more as European with French, Italian, Spanish themes. Their Caesar salad is award winning served with small delicate Romaine leaves and a lighter Caesar dressing. The 3 cheese Manicotti with Dallas Mozzarella's cheeses could not be beat anywhere. You can not go away hungry after eating their home made Pappardelle chock full of shrimp, crab claws and other fine seafood. I may have to go back soon while it is still on the menu. The cocktail menu had unique concoctions and the wine list had something for every taste and budget. Prices are reasonable and the service was attentive. As General Douglas MacArthur said during WW II -- "I will return"

Simple and sophisticated.

My family treated me to a Father’s Day brunch this morning at this fine establishment. The restaurant was spacious and clean and staff friendly. There is a complimentary valet parking in the back and seating available outside or in the dining room. You should make reservations as this place does get plenty of guests. We shared dishes which comprised of salmon, French toast, lobster bisque, Caesar salad and deconstructed Cali roll. Our meal was topped of with a combo peach cobbler and chocolate blob a la mode. This is a definite visit again place and the location in Dallas was favorable.

The service, food and ambiance were lovely here, we spent many hours here having dinner with friends and it was a great experience. I'd definitely go back for another night dinner next time I am in Dallas.

The service here is amazing and the food is definitely above average, however we drove down from Frisco to have brunch here and although good I wouldn't say definitely drive here and eat. I had the cinnamon bread french toast with a side of bacon. Good. My friend had the chiliquiles and it was very good. Their tomatoes are roasted to perfection. Our other friend got the eggs benedict like dish (dont know name on menu)...be prepared for very thick cut. Sauce was yummy!!! We ordered the half and half (half peach cobbler and half chocolate lava cake) for dessert and it was yummy. Served ala mode with Henry's Ice Cream! Hello Henry's!!! Both are filled with pecans or walnuts though so FYI for non nut lovers (2 of the 3 of us...ate around it). For those of you who are nearby definitely eat here, but if not there are many places closer to home for us. Not bad though...and staff very attentive.

We tried Parigi after almost a 2 year hiatus. We sat outside on a Friday late afternoon. The staff was attentive and courteous. The appetizer of Creamed Leek soup was delicious. The Grilled Fish of the Evening was Fresh Atlantic Salmon with Brussels Petals, Apple Smoked Bacon, Caramelized Shallots, and Sherry Gastrique. It was prepared perfectly. The waitress recommended the Bichot 2012 Bourgogne Blanc that was perfect with the Salmon. Definitely a very good evening meal. We will return.

Don't be fooled by the nondescript location, this is a high quality neighborhood spot. Fit for Foodies with great service. The menu is creative and changes often so you can have a different experience every time you go here. The Chicken Pot Pie was fantastic, with a little bit of spice.

We were invited here by friends and what a pleasant surprise it was! Bistrot type feel and exquisite starters and main courses. The wine list is also very good, offering a fine blend of European and American wines, spirits and cocktails. In short, great cuisine and most definitely a true taste of France/Italy here in the US (Texas!!!!!!).

A colleague picked this spot for a business meal and I'm really glad we went. The food and service were superb. Got a visit from the chef/owner as we ate. You need to know exactly where it is and the parking behind the restaurant is impossible to find unless you know it's there. I'll be going back with my wife.

Actually, in truth, I often enjoy brussel sprouts. But the brussel sprout salad at Parigi was perhaps the best way I've ever tasted them. If you're cautious about the salad, get one to share. But I'll tell you, you might regret sharing. Our entrees were excellent as well, I had the meatball / pasta and our guest had the fish special. I can't wait to go back and see what else we might enjoy there. The atmosphere is tightly-spaced, but with nearby tables enjoying their food, it seems quite pleasant.

Look for the trees wrapped in lights on Oak Lawn west/south of Lemmon Ave and you'll find this happen'en place! Only problem -- it's hard to be a new diner here because the regulars treat this like their private dining room. Some have been eating Sunday brunch here for 26 years! Yeah, a testament to the good food and fun atmosphere. Interesting chef-driven menu.

Stopped for lunch. Soup and sandwich combo is a good meal and also had the burger fries combo. The fries were tremendous! Burger very good as well and my wife enjoyed her soup. Nice patio to sit out in front with heaters all around.

I loved the location, atmosphere, staff, etc., but...an hour after I ate there I got sick. I had the deconstructed California roll salad, and when I tasted the whipped avocado (which by the way, would be so much better as just avocado) it tasted odd, but I thought that was just the flavor. Like clockwork - totally sick an hour later, and have been sick ever since. I don't think it was the crab, but something was not right. Very unfortunate, as it seemed like a cute place! I don't think I can go back, as I have been so ill ever since!

excellent lunch today. Kristen provided excellent service. My husband had the burger and I had the grilled artichokes. My artichokes were very good, but his burger was spectacular. Big fat juicy tasty.

My wife and I had brunch at Parigi on a Sunday in late June and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Cost for coffee, then for my pancakes and eggs, and for my wife's breakfast chile relleno (more details to come) was $51, including tip. The food was top-notch. I had a blueberry polenta pancake with walnut cinnamon butter and maple syrup. This was a dressy version of a breakfast classic. I added scrambled eggs (basic, but executed well). My wife had a chicken-and-rice stuffed chile relleno with a fried egg on top. She was impressed. Overall, the food was creative and tasty. The service was good as well. Ambiance was nice inside, and as long as it's not too hot, the tables out front are great as well. Overall, this was a nice, upscale brunch. We would definitely return and recommend it.

Here's the deal...I've been coming here for a solid 2 years now. You see, I live in the Midwest but work for a company based in Dallas. I fly here every other week for two nights and eat at Parigi almost exclusively. On occasion I wander to another restaurant but I always end up back here. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff is out of this world. If you are visiting Dallas or you live here, go to Parigi...you will not be disappointed.

Parigi has been an institution in Oak Lawn for over 30 years. Fantastic chef, inventive tasty menu, nice laid back service. I enjoy Parigi both for lunch and for dinner. Makes a great place to catch up with friends or a nice date night

This place is consistently good. The food is made with care and it shows. I haven't had a bad meal here. The rissoto specials are always a treat. If you are lucky you will score a table opposite the open kitchen, where you can watch the magic happen. Wine selection was a little lacking in my opinion, but the delicious meals make up for it. Love this place. Advice, reserve a week in advance.

ALWAYS special, extraordinary menu and daily special options, attentive service, great atmosphere, and vibe! Tonight, we enjoyed the chefs daily pasta selection with curry squash and creamy goat cheese. Very rich, but delicious. Fortunately, we will enjoy as leftovers. In addition, the daily risotto special, ceasar salad, pepper soup, and buttermilk pie rounded out the evenings dining experience. For more than 40 years, we've been enjoying this awesome culinary experience and hope to for many more years.

I don't understand why this restaurant is not rated higher, but it should be in the top 10 of Dallas! If you have not tried Parigi's, then do yourself a favor and head down there today. Small, chic yet casual restaurant with amazing up-to-date stylish food, at very reasonable prices. A classy, sophisticated crowd yet not uptight or dressy. I have NEVER had a bad meal here. If it sounds good...it will be. Look at the menu online to get an idea of how delicious the dishes are, and give it a try. We need to keep this restaurant busy!

The wife and I came here recently for dinner with another couple. This is a very chi chi in town restaurant, with avante guard décor, and hip people. We got an outdoor table. We were quickly greeted and seated, at a table of our choice. Great wine list, but somewhat pricy. Most of our party ordered fish, but I had a house salad and beef short ribs. The ribs were excellent, nicely braised with mashed potatoes. Salad was merely leafy greens and dressing, oh so bland for a place of this caliber. Nice place, in style, and the place to see and be seen.

wonderful food, excellent service. great selection of appetizers which is what I usually order. always a winner.

Parigi feels like it should be in New York or Chicago; it is small, lively, and the food is great. My wife took my here on my birthday and we had a great experience. We started with the tomato fondue which is a fancy way of saying excellent bread to dip in excellent spicy tomato sauce. Just what the doctor ordered on a cold December night. She had the rigatoni, a regular menu item. I had the risotto of the day. The rigatoni was excellent. The risotto was properly done al dente. The protein in the risotto was tenderloin and the dish may have benefited from a more fatty cut (like the beef cheeks in the rigatoni). Still, it was enjoyable. We finished with half chocolate glob and half peach cobbler. Who needs birthday cake when you can have that? Service was perfect. We'll be back!

We recently dined with several couples and had another great evening. Our server, Jessica, was very attentive and friendly. The table set up was very beautiful and classy. The food was all delicious - from the wine & cocktails, to the salads and appetizers, to the entrees, and on to the desserts. Every item was beautifully plated and tasty. The standouts were the caesar salads, beef tenderloin risotto and the peppermint red velvet cake - Yum!! I enjoy the consistent service and quality when dining here. Another very enjoyable meal!

Visited for many years. Recent party of 8, great cafe nice atmosphere at night, very comfortable, intimate dining. Everyone got something different for main course, Beef was terrific. Crab was the runner up, everyone else stated their meals were just average. We tried everyones dishes, pasta, pizza, specials..etc Everything was fresh, prepared well, just average tasting at well above average prices. Get the beef.

We can’t get enough of this place. It’s our favorite go-to for Sunday brunch. We live the polenta pancakes and the lemon curd French toast. Both are luck-the-plate good. Friendly staff, never rushed at your table, chef serves every table with perfectly plated food. You must visit!!!

Just went for the first Time last night, but will definitely be back! Quaint small restaurant, packed on a Saturday night. We had a party of eight, and half ordered three special risotto of the night, beef tenderloin. It looked Amazing and by all accounts was worried delicious. I had the carbonara. Oh my! These best I've ever eaten! My daughter and I shared their arugala and fresh pear salad - again, over-the-top delicious. And for dessert we ordered and shared around the table the peach cobbler/chocolate "glob". Quite interesting and delicious pairing!

Parigi has been an all-time favorite of mine for over 40 years! Many fond memories have been created here through lunch, brunch, or dinners. I’ve known it through all the owners and I must say that Janice has done an amazing job, taking it up a notch and keeping the quality always perfect, her friendly and attentive staff always recognizes you and calls you by name. It’s a must try. There are too many wonderful things on the menu, but the chicken au Poivre is one of my favorites, and the french fries that are cooked in duck fat are hard to beat the buttermilk pie. Is something like your grandmother would’ve made! I never met a Minetta-made cake there that I didn’t love!

Excellent restaurant. Everything is wonderful. Great French menu which is constantly changing, great inexpensive wine list. The Food is terrific. This time I had the short ribs. The desserts are great : The Blob with HENRY'S Ice Cream. Yum ! The waiters are attentive & knowledge ! A MUST when is Dallas.

Parigi has consistently good food and a great atmosphere. It's small so be sure to have a reservation or call before you go to make sure a table is available.

Nice small intimate space in busy location for parking with good friendly service. Very busy. Salads and fish very good, Been here a while so is doing many things right and well. Nice place to relax and chat. Lot of repeat local customers.

Great salads and all enjoyed their meals. The mango tea is AWESOME. The salmon deviled eggs were too salty and I didn't like how the salmon was in the filling and not in top. Service was great and efficient even in COVID-19 days.

We celebrated our daughter's engagement last Saturdayvevening. What a nice surprise. Food was local and the menu was quite innovative. I ordered the veggie plate. A scooped out squash with four veggies covered with cheese. Nice flavor and very unique. Other diners had pizza, and risotto. Delicious all three. Did I tell you the appetizers were also different. Truffle oil mushrooms and lobster on toasted bread. The bread served added another favorite to the meal. We shared carrot cake and the chocolate glob and peach cobbler served with an oatmeal chocolate chip ice cream (locally made). The weather cooperated with us and we dined Al Fresco.

From the Saturday Brunch menu I ordered the, “Knuckle” Sandwich with lobster, it was to die for! Such amazing favors pouring out of this sandwich. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is light and cozy. Felt like a little Paris cafe. All the food ordered at the table tasted fresh including the pommes frites (French fries).

We thoroughly enjoyed Parigi -- and the chef-owner was wonderful to watch at work in his tidy kitchen. Our waiter was attentive and made good suggestions. We also liked the fact that many other diners were regulars and there was a nice buzz of conversations. The wine list was serious enough to grab your attention and the food was incredibly good. The portobello fries are a must appetizer. If you ever want a perfect risotto, come here for it. Obviously a carefully run establishment, and not over-expensive for what you get. Will definitely eat here again when in Dallas.

A neighborhood gem. Small, friendly and the food is awesome. My martini was large and great. They said "we make them like we drink them". Go here for dinner.

A wonderful bustling bistro where service is impeccable but not pretentious. Fabulous wine list, and a robust menu. Escargot served in shells, bread nice and yeast- chewy. I felt I was back at Rue Lauritan in Paris before “fusion cuisine” took over Paris.

Parigi has long been one our favorite Dallas restaurants. It reminds us of a good NYC Madison Avenue bistro. The food quality is always good and the service is consistent. The number of regulars tells you about this spot. Janice, the owner and chef, has been there for a long time and carefully monitors and upgrades the menu and wine list on a regular basis.

I have been eating at this restaurant since it opened- back then,it was the cool place for the beautiful people, and a great place for people watching. Some of the best nouvelle cuisine in Dallas. And now...IT IS BETTER THAN EVER! Consistently excellent food, perfectly prepared, served in the best low key but professional manner by a superb waitstaff. The prices are just right at lunch, a little pricey at dinnertime, but well worth it for some of the best food in town without the stuffy and pretentious atmosphere found in many of Dallas' top venues. I eat almost every meal out, due to a frantic work schedule, and this place is always in my TOP 5 BEST OF DALLAS. Kudos to Janice, (owner/chef), for many years of beautiful meals, and to a delightful waitstaff for always perfect service. With love and gratitude, R. Peterson

The knuckle sandwich was a bit over "buttered or oiled" and the amount of lobster seemed low within the bread. The drinks were fine for brunch and the desserts were loved by all. However, the rose delivered to my husband was such a short pour--I would have complained if it was my drink serving.

We had the same experience as Billp95- the maitre'd was really out out and snotty. The service was excellent- very seasoned waiters, but it may because they basically have had the same tired menu for decades. The risotto, ceasar salad, cali roll, rich potobello fries- I usually get the basic filet and mashed potatoes. They have this one down and it rarely disappoints. I wouldn't expect current cuisine, but great old 80's favorites. Maybe that's why the place is turning into a L ' ancesttral ( upscale senior living favorites) It used to be like a friends lovely dinner party with the owner coming by and talking to tables, but that died out years ago. Still, you will find an old favorite if the rude host decides to seat you.

Walking distance from the Melrose Hotel is nice. Small interior thats ok. Had a Monday evening dinner that was good. My Osso Buco had good flavor but was mostly fat. Disappointed.!!! Service was a little slow. Still I would go back again..!!

the slowest service I've ever had in a Dallas restaurant...and it was a Monday night! I think they were busier than expected but that's when you get reviews like this...that's not my problem but you made it one. The food was just OK, it might have been better but all five of us at the table were so hungry by the time it arrived that I'd bet none of us could remember what it...wait, I had Chicken which by the way it was described on the menu, I thought I was getting a half roasted bird...nope, two dry breasts with some sort of mildly spicey paste substance on top of them. Didn't matter....will never go back.

So last night my partner and I had dinner at our favorite restaurants, Parigi's. I always forget to write something about them and today I will. Every time I go I always have the risotto. It changes daily and I have never been disappointed by the selection. No matter if you have lived here for years like myself or if your just visiting Dallas, you have to go and experience the amazing food, people and more importantly great service. Oh! Try the acorn squash dish! Freaking WOW with the balsamic sauce!!

I've been a huge supporter of this special restaurant for over 25 years (lunch, dinner and brunch), however selected the wrong item this weekend. That wrong item was the lobster knuckle sandwich...the description sounded awesome and the waitress indicated it was great, however at $25 plus kettle chips I was VERY disappointed and would caution everyone to think twice...at best a glorified tuna melt! The redeeming side was the always perfect brussel sprouts salad. Use your $25 on some of the other amazing entrée selections, but avoid the lobster knuckle sandwich.

The outside can be unassuming and hidden, but the restaurant is fantastic. Everything is great! Carefully prepared and beautifully presented.

Great place for weekend brunch the ever changing omelette recipe is always a nice surprise, the polenta pancakes are a nice twist to the classics and the revisited BLT is worth the trip

As usual, Parigi did not disappoint last night. It is the "near perfect" combo of casual chic, perfect service & fab food. Everything, for the most part was great last night. Our service was flawless by MICHAEL- perfect mix of knowledge, friendliness, humor & NOT a "helicopter". Had the garlic, pate & olive medley for appetizer- great lobster bisque(rich & tasty & my old standby- tenderloin . My only comment is the portion size on the tenderloin( used to be thicker & bigger) & my buddy's scallops(dinky'ish). Maybe I just am out of touch w/ portioning these days but it used to be different in the past. Overall, one can hardly go wrong here!!....One final thing that has never changed are the seat height perimeter mirrors throughout which make discreet people-watching a breeze....lol (not that I'd ever do that....lmao)

Parigi was recommended to us by the Daisy Polk Inn. Just walking distance from the Inn, this restaurant served wonderfully delicious cuisine. 5 Star recommendation!

have been going there several times in past year. always been a great experience. the service is just so attentive. one of my favorite oak

Food was very good and they will customize your order. Very pleased with that and the quality of food. Service was lacking though. Its a tiny little place and packed to the brim, but enough staff to take care of all tables. We had to wait about 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone approached our table and offered us water. Another 10 before waiter came, no menus yet, then we waited about 30 minutes after we ordered to get our food. Not acceptable for a place like this.

Apparently Parigi has a new chef and his cuisine is much more adventurous (and successful) than his predecessor. While nothing fell in the category of outstanding, everything was very pleasant and often successfully combined offbeat combinations of flavor.

After several enjoyable experiences at this local Italian restaurant we were very disappointed in the changes we saw this last visit. Good: reservation was honored. Disappointing: the tables have been moved much closer together, even placing some in the doorway. Food service was very slow, 45 minutes for entrees, with a normal crowd level Food was much degraded in taste from previous visits. Two of the three entrees were not hot, flavor was poor, plating was okay. Appetizers, like the Pate assortment was not as represented on the menu, mostly salad mixture. Peppers were skimpy and simply okay. Service was by a disinterested waiter who always had a knack for looking through you but not seeing you when you were signaling for him. Unfortunately we will not be giving them another go. To bad, so sad to find a good place going downhill.

We have been to Parigi on three different occasions and the scene is much the same. This is a small crowed space with comfortable patio out front and parking out back. The food is casual and fresh although inconsistent. The Backed Garlic was great as was the grilled fish. Seems that this is a well tested local hangout and for that we like it just fine. The service and food are good and the dining experience is good fun. We will certainly return for another visit.

This is a great small classy restaurant with a very good menu. The best for lunch is the Cali roll undone! Lumpy crab meat is delicious. The Chef features local farmers produce in great ways. Patio is wonderful most days and the restaurant is intimate. Love this place for business or girls lunch.

I feel so lucky to have had Parigi recommended when on a recent trip to Dallas. The food was superb, the service was attentive, friendly, and informed. The experience was so wonderful that I went back a second time with friends. The name of the restaurant comes from the Italian word for the city in France, Paris. The menu was a mix of the best styles of Italy and France. Excellent selection of wines by the glass. Highly recommend.

I just returned from lunch with several colleagues at Parigi and it was absolutely delightful. The restaurant is quite small and was packed, though we were (luckily) seated immediately with no reservation. The atmosphere is inviting and service was spot on. The clientele was a mixed bag of business people and what appeared to be locals based on the warm hugs provided by the manager greeting those as they entered. One person in my group ordered a tuna melt, two had lunch salads, one had a chicken special and all meals were really excellent. Fresh ingredients with inventive combinations of food made for a great lunch. Water, soda, and iced tea glasses were filled without asking. Prices were reasonable based on the meals provided. This restaurant is just down the street from the Warwick Melrose hotel, and it appears to have plentiful parking. Do yourself a favor and even for lunch, make a reservation. You will be glad you did!

I ate here with two friends for brunch on Saturday. The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. There are a limited number of breakfast items on the menu. I ordered chilaquiles, one friend ordered eggs benedict, and the other friend ordered the cinnamon pound cake french toast. Everything was very good. The chilaquiles were generous. I found the sauce on the chips to be a little too spicy for me so I couldn't eat all of them, but I ate everything else on my plate. The cheese topped tomato was especially good. I'll definitely be tempted to order the French toast next time -- it was amazing. For dessert we ordered the "half and half" - peach pie and chocolate lava cake. We had them add a scoop of Henry's homemade vanilla ice cream. That was the very best part of the meal! The restaurant was not busy (it was a very cold January morning) and the server was attentive. I rarely give an excellent rating, so that says a lot. You won't be disappointed!

Nothing fancy, little but with excellent food. Very reasonable prices. Valet service and spacious parking if you want to do it yourself. Very, recommendable.

Nice atmosphere, good wine and drink menu, and many unique food options. We had the baked garlic with cheese bread and tomato mozzarella salad as appetizers. Both were great. The daily risotto special (with beef tenderloin) was very tasty. Skip the pizza, it was a let down in comparison to all the other food. We were told dinner selections change every other week. Service was excellent-attentive and friendly.

Love, Love, Love Parigi's!!! I have been here several times, NEVER DISAPPOINTED. Went there with a friend after working a marathon expo in Fair Park. She had never been there. Ordered a glass of red wine from the bartender at his suggestion...FABULOUS choice. We told our attentive waiter to surprise us with his favorite appetizers. He brought us his pick of peppers stuffed with cheese (came to the table in the shape of tulips!!!). Tasty! And the grilled artichoke with voodoo sauce...yummy! Next we had their Caesar and the Shaved Brussels Sprouts salad! Both were the bomb! I opted for their soup of the evening as my main meal...so fresh. My friend had the special which was zucchini pasta of some sort. I had a bite and it was sooo good! We decided to go over the top and ordered dessert...cobbler with chocolate lava cake a la mode! We were licking the bowl!

Delicious food and excellent service. I met a friend for lunch, we had salads, ceasar for me (yummy, homemade dressing) and she had the arugula pear. I had the risotto special and she had the lamb. Both decadent, would recommend. They bring bread and butter as well. We both had iced tea. Be prepared, it is expensive, our lunch was $100 plus tip.

I often bring out of town guest to this little restaurant as it is close to market center and makes for easy access.. But I forget this is one of the very best restaurants in Dallas! Funny when I treat out of town guest here..when they return they always want to go back,..it never fails to thrill.....Great Wine..wonderful bread and make sure you try the goat cheese and roasted garlic appetizer....YOU will love this place...

Had a wonderful brunch - great selection of egg dishes plus amazing pancakes! Even the coffee was special. Of course, it didn't hurt that we had a waiter who was helpful and informative. All his recommended dishes were delicious,

Hard to find a white table cloth establishment open on Saturday for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! While I was indulging myself with the perfectly prepared Atlantic Char on a bed of caramelized onions and Brussel sprout petals, I was coveting the deconstructed California roll to my left and the monster burger (brioche bun) with goat cheese oozing out the sides....when I inquired what was on the burger, the diner said "everything but the kitchen sink". The basket of crusty bread on our table had super salty butter to slather on it. Can't wait to go back! Outdoor patio curbside. Valet parking. Recommend reservations.

We have eaten here numerous times. Last night was just that, our last night. Average food served with average service. Such a shame. The service was the bigger disappointment. Adios.

This restaurant was recommended to us so maybe our expectations were somewhat high. Also we arrived around closing time which could have been the reason for poor quality of the food. Garlic starter: Naked garlic, it tasted like this garlic bulb had been lying around for some time and just zapped up in the microwave to serve. Bread also not too fresh. Lamb dish messy and overcooked. Salmon dish was good though, the only reason we did not rate this restaurant as poor.

My partner and I love this restaurant and have been going for several years... I have never had anything but wonderful food and wonderful service. The cheese plate is divine with honey comb and an amazing array of cheeses I can't pronounce any further than "yum." Friendly, charming wait staff that is attentive but not in the way. Always a risoto to choose from, which is always good. Another favorite is the constantly changing deviled egg offering. Best to have a reservation, it can fill up quickly.

What's not to love about a small Italian restaurant that changes its menu daily, offers a lovely outdoor patio with a courtyard feel, and goes above and beyond to deliver excellent food? My favorite of the ever-changing risottos is the mushroom with steak tips, but if it's not on the menu for the day, the chef will accommodate a request if possible. The service is friendly without hovering. And then there's "the blob" dessert. Its name scares off less hardy diners, but the adventurous few will be rewarded with a bowl of half-baked brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. And it sounds really weird, but you can also get a half-blob with half-peach-cobbler. Trust me. This is one of those odd couples that just works.

Lived in Dallas since June and this is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. Making it a point to explore new restaurants each week and nothing even gets close to the perfection that is Parigi. I'm a lover and regular visitor of NYC and this restaurant reminds me of a high-end neighborhood gem in Manhattan. The ambiance is lovely, the service is spectacular and the food divine. Parigi will be my go to restaurant for a foodie treat and visiting guests I want to impress.

Its easy to drive by here but you shouldn't. Great spot, very pleasant patio under the trees and it doesn't disappoint food wise. I didnt find it expensive, even at lunch, and the food is light and fresh. Salads are creative and very good. Accessible wine list and a very friendly and efficient staff. It feels very cosmopolitan in here and there are plenty of varied choices on menu

We dined at Parigi on the recommendation of the innkeeper where we were staying. I have to say right off the bat, that our waiter, Oscar, was infallible. I should clarify that we were there on a very slow Monday night, so it's not like there were a lot of tables to keep track of, but still he anticipated our every need without intruding or hovering. Water was also refilled promptly by support staff. We never had to ask for refills and we never ran dry, a pet peeve of mine in fancier establishments especially. The menu was very seafood heavy that night, but my non-seafood-eating husband still had a few choices. He settled on the Texas lasagna, an interesting twist on the classic, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. He was also pleased with his pear and arugula salad, which had a wonderfully light dressing and impressibly plated ribboned pear. I loved my crab beignet starter, just wish there had been more lemon aioli served with it. My seafood pasta (a pappardelle with crab, lobster, and shrimp in an oil wine sauce) was less impressive, although still fine. The wine list was rather pricy, as was dessert ($9 for a slice of pie, but my was it delicious!). Overall we enjoyed the meal and the ambiance, including a peek into the open kitchen. But did feel the value for the meal was a bit skewed. For nearly $150 we expect to be wowed by every bite.

Always a great mix of people in here. Never had a problem with the food or the deserts. Tiny little bar, make reservations, a great place to people watch.

Had to be in Oak Lawn area on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to try something new. Parigi was right down the street. Has a nice Euro feeling patio, but we opted for inside. It was quite busy at around noon an a Saturday. Menu options plentiful. For some reason, we both opted for lobster based dished. The omelette and the "knuckle sandwich". The omelette was loaded with enough lobster that you could actually tell it was there. It was just a little too under seasoned for my taste. However, my GF loved it so I ate half her sandwich and she half of mine. We were both very happy. I thought the sandwich was quite tasty. Oh and we started with some deviled eggs which were very subtlety and well seasoned. Do give them a few minutes though. They came straight out of the fridge and were too cold to enjoy straight away. Our neighbor had the halibut and said he was pleasantly surprised. It looked cooked to perfection. His kids had burgers and no complaints from them either. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. Will certainly come back to try other items.

I had a glass of champagne to start with a cup of Chorizo and Vegetable soup followed by Crab meat, gently fried with an Aoli dip. Fabulous. Main course was the most perfectly cooked pork chop on the bone, juicy, tasty and tender. The 5 ingredient Mole sauce that accompanied it was gorgeous and I should know I live in Mexico!! A half and half dessert of chocolate volcano and stewed apricots with cream on the side was delicious. The service was as perfectly conducted as the pork chop was cooked. It's not cheap, but it is really worth it!!

I noticed that TripAdvisor missed Parigi in their “best patio dining” recommendations. That’s just ridiculous and a major error. Parigi has served Dallas for 34+/- years. It is as dressy or casual as your mood. The food at Parigi is outstanding. The menu is broad and very focused to beautiful and delicious plates. The Caesar has been on the “best of” list for multiple years, (perhaps decades). Parigi supports local farms, vineyards, bakeries, and ranches. The cocktails are crafted and the service is personal and attentive. The patio is well known as the premier patio in town where you likely will see many familiar local leaders in media, acting, sports, art, hospitality, business, design, fashion, and politics. These are only a few of the reasons that Parigi is also known as one of the premier catering restaurants for the most meaningful social and philanthropic events in town, year after year. FIVE STARS.

Excellent restaurant with great service. The menu was not large but was wonderfully versatile in covering quite an inclusive group of choices. The acoustics are not the best, it is a small space and difficult to hear when full. Food worth the loud buzz.

Parigi offers decent food with exceptional service. Everyone was happy with their meal. The food itself wasn't very memorable, but it wasn't bad. Our table had an assortment of appetizers and an assortment of entrees as well. No complaints, but not really sure what the food was. Some Italian, some French, just kind of Euro-style mishmash. Our server was the real star of the night. She was memorable. Quick and efficient, she catered to every request including at one point bringing our table an outdoor a/c unit, which I thought was extraordinary.

My husband and I visited this restaurant duing our holiday vacation in Dallas. We sat outside in their patio because we had our 4 legged son with us, Charlie, a beautiful well behaved German Shepherd. Letting us bring him is priceless to us as he goes everywhere with us. We were waited by "Daniel", a wonderful man who knew the menu from a to z. Very courteous and amicable. We ordered the escargot and the filled cauliflower as appetizers. Both were delish. I don't know how they do it but we were sitting outside in about 50 degree weather and the food came out very hot and stayed that way. Which is fantastic.... The escargot were perfectly seasoned with the right amount of garlic and herbs. Beautiful to dip their out of this world bread in.....The cauliflower was very unique and tasty. Would definitely repeat both. My husband ordered seafood risotto, which again, came out to the patio steaming hot and remained that way until he was done with it. I had a bite and it was very very good. I ordered chicken breasts wrapped in prosciutto with the most wonderful macaroni and cheese side I have ever tasted. It was NOT your ordinary mac an velveeta, but a brand new fusion of white cheeses, garlic, herbs and a crusty breading on top....OMG I could eat that every single day of my life. Their wine selection was very nice and varied. Their prices are reasonable as well as their wine. Overall exciting experience. Strongly suggest this place!!!!

Came here based on a recommendation of a friend. The summer salad was delicious and fresh. The deviled eggs were wonderful. Ordered the salmon and it was raw. My friend ordered hers specifically well done and it was raw too. Service was slow. Seemed to not have enough help.

Our visit started with an attentive waiter who was enthusiastic and helpful who explained the wine list and menu. His shift was ending which he apologized for and handed us off to another waiter who was not as attentive. We had to pour our own wine refills even though he passed by the table with empty wine glasses on the table. We had to ask twice for the check. The food is ok; probably better but the lack of attentiveness did not help the taste. The problem with this restaurant is that the kitchen opens into the dining area. The wait staff congregates there and at the bar spending too much time socializing with the other employees leaving the customers to fend for themselves too often.

Outside seating on busy street, no outdoor lights. Didn't see anything remotely French and everything we ordered was flavored with an overwhelmingly odd spice. Too expensive for the experience, though it seemed a local favorite.

This is always my “ go to” choice in Dallas. Always good fish choices with daily specials yummy and wonderful !!! The feel is more of a European restaurant with significant attention to detail.

Had friends in from out of town and was told this was a good place for brunch. Was disappointed by the restaurant and food. One of their special dishes was chicken and biscuits. The chicken tender strips were over cooked and dry. One of my friends had the eggs benedict and the english muffin was so hard, it was tough to cut much less eat! My group had reservations but we were placed at a table where one of the party had to sit in the open doorway to the outside! When asked about moving to another available table, we were told they were reserved but no one ever showed up! Disappointing!

A small and wonderful place for brunch - they had good food and nice place to eat outdoors under umbrellas.

We arrived at noon on Sunday, and our party of four was seated immediately at our reserved table. We ordered the roasted garlic with cheese and the antipasto platter for appetizers. For entrees, we ordered the knuckle sandwich, deconstructed Cali roll, Papparedelle pasta with seafood, and chicken with pesto risotto. Everything was delicious, perfect temperature, and served in a timely manner. The atmosphere was leisurely; not rushed, but not lagging. Our waiter was very personable, and we were never at want for drink or looking for the next plate to be served. As we were with family, we shared our meals so that we could taste everything. Wonderful experience.

Starting with the martini everything was excellent: cheese board (manchego & blue), ninny's salad. Pan seared grouper! Great service. Really enjoyed the entire dining experience here

Went there last weekend to meet up with another couple. Service was gracious and a wonderful waiter with a dry humor who was just perfect. Food was outstanding - everyone's meal look scrumptious for sure. I was there for a lunch about 3 years ago and the place is as outstanding now as it was then.

Allison was amazing and so was my service. The food - the closest I’ve come to France in Texas by far. The Pate’, French wine, and Chicken au Poivre was out of this world.

We made a point of trying Parigi during our recent visit to Dallas since it caught our attention the last time but they were closed on Sunday night. Our lunch was delightful in this quaint bistro. We chose the Fish Special which was a lightly pan fried Striped Bass over warm brussel sprouts, bacon and carmelized shallot salad. The portion size was just perfect....I don't need a plate that feeds a family of four. Our server, Oscar, was very efficient and tended to us promptly on a bustling Friday afternoon. They have a great wine selection, fresh French bread to start and the Oatmeal/Chocolate Chunk ice cream was delish and plenty for the three of us to end our rainy day lunch. This is a small place and outside seating is available which I would like to do next time but it was pouring the day we were there. We will return for sure.

The restaurant is conveniently located on Oak Lawn Ave. There are a few parking spots out front, but more are available in the back. Its interior is decorated tastefully, while maintaining a casual feel. If you want a romantic setting, you will have to come here early, as it gets a little noisy when the place filled up. We came here for an early dinner, so we did not order a lot of food. But the quality of the ingredients and cooking was excellent. Every entree at our table (osso bucco, grilled white bass, seafood pappardelle, and cappellini) was handsomely prepared and tasty. We did succumb to sharing a couple of desserts. The peach cobbler was excellent, but the chocolate glob was a little too sweet. Overall, the food is much better than what you will find in most other Dallas restaurants of this price range. Our server for the evening could have been a little more attentive. He asked for drinks order without giving us time to study the drinks menu. It was also one of those instances where our table was the only one that was not served bread. In summary, excellent food but a couple of small things that can be improved upon.

The food at Parigi is always fresh and delicious. The service is fast, yet the atmosphere is relaxing, especially if you sit on the patio on a beautiful day.

Hadn’t been here in 20 years and some things never change. This French brasserie-style restaurant is as wonderful as ever!

Parigi is always at the top of our list for dinner out in Dallas. This small restaurant with it's tiny kitchen cranks out some of the most fabulous food in Dallas. The menu is focused on seasonal freshness and local suppliers. Service is hard to beat too. Make reservations! This is a local favorite so they are always crowded. You won't be disappointed.

We've been visiting Parigi for 30 plus years, and no matter whether it's lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch, the menu, quality of food, service, and ambiance are ALWAYS a treat! We look forward to enjoying one of our favorite restaurants for many more years...

Excellent consistent food. It is an American bistro with European flair. It is cozy with close tables. Good for ladies who do lunch, small family gatherings, or a romantic dinner for 2. Weekend brunch is very popular. There is a small outdoor patio, overlooks Oak Lawn Avenue, but with plenty of plants to soften the atmosphere.

food was organic and fresh...excellent service, and the atmosphere was very inviting. I would go back here in a heart beat.....the people who run this place were very organized and the homemade bread really hit the spot.

On a busy Saturday night, we were seated promptly at 7:30. Within 20 minutes it was completely full and the noise level was high decibel. The table of four next to us had to yell to be heard, making conversation between my husband and me almost impossible. Water and bread were brought right away, however, it took about 15 minutes for a waiter to speak to us and bring us menus. After that he was very friendly and engaging. He even brought a wine cooler to chill our overly-warm red wine for a few minutes. On the plus side, the food was quite good. My caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had. My husband's deviled eggs were average. I had the Chicken Gratin Manchego with mushrooms and spinach. It was excellent! My husband's beef tenderloin with mustard sauce was fork-tender and perfectly cooked medium rare. We will return, perhaps on a week night when it's not so busy and loud. Nice atmosphere inside and a lovely patio where some were eating even though it was around 95 degrees outside.

Very good dinner, with locally sourced menu. Pretty good vegetarian options (for Dallas). Somewhat cramped, though pretty décor inside. Parking was Valet by default. Service was also very good. Recommended.

Excellent service, excellent food, expect it to be pricey. Cozy Parisian style seating, so don't expect to have a private conversation. Had reservations made weeks in advance and the two small requests were not met, so one "star" needed to be removed.

I like it here, great patio, friendly servers, nice intimate bar (small). It should be more than average. But to me it is. There doesn't seem to be those "oh wow" dishes to me that would make me come here often. I can have a steak in many Dallas places, so the steak isn't a draw. My pork chop was overcooked...cmon. But, it still has a nice feel, and worth going to, at least once, to see if "that dish" is there for you. Ill go back again, hoping to find it....once.

I went to Parigi's for a fun girls lunch, and it didn't disappoint! We sat outside on the charming patio, and all of us commented that it would be a romantic place to come back to with our hubbys. All of us enjoyed our meals very much as well as the looks of everything brought out to other tables. We had great service, great food, and in a great atmosphere. I will be back and soon!

While staying at the Warwick Hotel a couple blocks away many times, we have driven or walked by this nondescript location many times. On this cold winter evening, we decided to give it a try. One question -- what took us so long? This quaint little French bistro is wonderful. We began with the crab beignets and the pate. Both excellent. My wife the have the Risotto of the day, a Stroganoff. Said it was one of the best things she has ever had. I had the special Poblano Pepper Chicken Pot Pie. Wow, one of the best flavors I have ever tasted. Service was excellent. The ambiance very French. This place could easily become one of our favorites when visiting Dallas.

The setting is nice and the service attentive. The foods “sound” nice as described but what arrives lacks finesse and attention to detail. My vegan daughter had an acorn squash filled with quinoa. It was a massive and clunky mess that did not welcome being looked at, let alone being eaten. My friend had the trout with mashed potatoes, which she liked, though the presentation was sloppy. The hamburger was greasy and the fries also greasy and uninviting. The espresso was excellent. My friend is a regular client and enjoys the food, here. The rest of us left unsatisfied.

In a City that is distracted by everything new, this cafe breaks convention by going strong three decades. A beautiful small sliver of space, with a romantic outside terrace, albeit on the busy Oak Lawn Avenue, the ambience delivers inside and outside. Innovative to bring small plate fare with tapenade and olives in its beginning, and still on the menu, entrees now celebrate local Texas farmers and purveyors. We had the beet and bursts salad as a starter. Large enough to share and beautiful deep colors drizzled with a green virgin olive oil. Main plates were paradelle with crab and shrimp and Parmesan. The light sauce was clean and delicious. The salmon on brussel petals was perfectly seared. I would not order again the cauliflower purée. Too run and flavorless, it reminded me of cream of wheat. Wait staff was attentive and custom fashioned cocktails. This is a local treasure, beloved by its regulars. Keep it in mind on date night or on your way to an arts performance downtown.

The restaurant is always busy and lively. I love the atmosphere...casual, but intimate . you can go as a single and feel welcomed and also have a very nice experience with your wife and friends. The menu is not large and cluttered, but well balanced with many items to satisfy any taste level. I can say I have tried so many items that I cannot list my favorite...but the specials change every day and I always start there, the service is THE BEST, and Janet always makes you feel special. I have been in Dallas for a couple of months and will return to Colorado soon for the summer and will miss Parigi , call ahead for reservations , JP

This place has been opened for years and it still has me camming back for more creative fare served in a hip and original environment. Small place that is awesome for that special celebratory dinner or lunch.

We stopped at Parigi just before Thanksgiving and it was an awful experience. To be fair, the food was good but not exceptional, with the cheese plate being the best of the lot. The server's mind seemed to be elsewhere all evening, but in one memorable sequence, took the dessert orders of everyone but skipped me, was called back for my dessert choice, brought it but with no utensil with which to eat it, brought me decaf instead of coffee, then brought me lukewarm coffee, while mixing up the dessert orders of the couple on my left.

My friend and I had lunch on a Tuesday. It had a nice sized lunch crowd. She opted for a French martini and said it was 'alright'. She is quite the martini connoisseur so for what it's worth. She went for the risotto which was made with lamb. She had to extract some tough/grisly pieces of lamb. She said she would not order that again. I had the Chicken Club which is not a sandwich but a salad with fried chicken strips on greens with bacon and avocado with cherry tomatoes. It was good but not $13 good. The bread on the table are small pieces of artisan bread in the basket. It has "complimentary" valet parking in the rear.

My fiend invited me for lunch and I was one of the best times I had. That waiter was so attentive and the food exquisite. A small restaurant with a big atmosphere.

This is fine dinning at its best. We started with Bloody Mary's ($11.50 ea) which were delicious. The entrees are large so my wife and I shared a great Caesar salad ($9.48) and the lobster omelet ($21). We shared a fantastic cheese board (you choose 3 cheeses) with another couple ($18). We shared a dessert($8) and had coffee ($3.75). Add another round of those great Blood Mary's and our bill came to $106.05 Great brunch and everything was top notch ...... I've included the prices so those on a budget can get an idea of the cost. For us, we will reserve for special occasions ..... great food but being retired, we can afford this luxury only occasionally.

Last night was my first visit to Parigi. I thought the ambiance and wait staff were excellent, but my meal was a disaster. I ordered their veal entree for about $30. The very thin piece of breaded veal was overcooked and dry, reminding me of shoe leather. I should have sent it back, but the restaurant was crowded and I knew it would take too long to get another meal. Later that evening I had an extremely upset stomach. I don't think I'll return.

The staple items such as the tapenade is INCREDIBLE, other items can be very hit or miss and often lately without flavor. the service and ambiance is STELLAR! The only patio choice in central oak lawn. Never a cheap date, but always a stylish one!

My second visit did not disappoint. I would return again. This restaurant is a winner. The service, surroundings, and seasonings were on point. Try the Portobello "Fries" as an appetizer. Seafood Paparadell as an entree. The pasta was perfectly cooked and topped with pulled crab and four petite claws. The meat of the claws was sweet and delicate. The shrimp were of good size and quantity, but not properly veined so they becam rubbery and unappealing. I could not eat them. The broth was delicate and well-seasoned. So all in all, a bit disappointing. Desert--pie of the day- black cherry and I opted for oatmeal chocolate chip ice cream. Parigi's dinner crowd is a a lively well-dressed bunch and the acoustics allowed for enough privacy without dampening the atmosphere. A touch more volume for background music would he welcomed. Service- my waitress, did not handle my food restrictions gracefully: too many trips to the kitchen without solid dinner options. And I felt I needed to keep reminding her. She needed to be flagged down, not intuitive about my body language. And did not check in on me proactively. But she dropped the check just a minute after my dessert was delivered even though several empty tables remained. HMMMMMNNN... I was single diner and with the exception of the food Expeditor, Jesus was phenomenal either poise and excellent eye contact. not feel embraced this visit. Another waitress, Jen really saved the experience. She insisted on removing the entree from my check. I wasn't looking for that, but it was the right thing to do and she earned back a star. Reservations recommended.

Always an enjoyable visit at this 30+ year establishment and rarely disappoints. Atmosphere is great, however close seating quarters for some tables, friendly and professional servers...but the seasonally changing menus and imaginative dishes are hard to beat! Of course the menu still has many of the 30 year favorites. Lunch, dinner or brunch, best to call ahead for reservations. Great menu, wine and cocktail options for this upscale Dallas bistro!

Had dinner at the bar. Excellent mixologist! Will be looking for a bottle of St Germain next time shopping..Started with the foie gras with cherry bacon jam and what tasted like housemade crackers...delicious! Then had the Petit Veal Osso Bucco. Not an overwhelming portion-perfect for what I needed. Nice wine menu...

We were in Dallas for a funeral and tried this restaurant since it was close to our hotel. The food was very good, but the service was slow.

We had Sunday brunch here as it was close to our hotel the Warwick Melrose. It was absolutely delicious!

Visited Parigi's without reservations and we were able to secure a table. Crowed, but not over crowded on a Wednesday. The restaurant is French with a twist - the personality of Chef Janice - a veteran. The Wine List is very good and fairly priced. The Wine glasses are are appropriate. The wait staff is professional & knowledgeable about the menu. No teenage wait staff. The food was excellent. Had the Fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Yum. Hot. Enjoyed the Avacado - Cucumber sliders. fresh ! Thank You ! My wife enjoyed the Salmon. It too was terrific and the service excellent. No desserts, but a great list. This restaurant is fantastic - give it a try some night !

It had been a couple years since my last visit, and it is even better than I remembered. Came for my birthday celebration with my wife, son and daughter-in-law. Everything was excellent. Service was attentive. We began splitting a couple appetizers. The piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese were both a piece of art and a taste sensation. I have attached a photo. The crab beignets were cooked just right and not oily as some can be. For main courses we all had daily specials: my wife and son had the risotto, I had a wonderful seafood pot pie that was unlike anything I have ever tasted in my life, and my daughter-in-law had a halibut fish special. Every one of us raved about our choices. We shared a bottle of wine, a wonderful Dagueneau Pouilly Fume. It was well priced. And then for dessert we shared a Chocolate Glob and a Peach Cobbler. Again perfection. This place is hard to see along the busy street and parking in front can be difficult but there is a lot in the back. I highly recommend it.

Amazing innovative cuisine with historically famous chic location with constant adaptions in decor atmosphere and ambiance fun to follow supporters of local goods and farm items just incredible no place holds a candle to the team efforts here and a tradition in my life

Parigi has been one of my favorite Dallas restaurants for the last 30 years, though this most recent visit was the first in approximately 5 years. By far, this meal was one of the most disappointing, not only for this restaurant but for all other Dallas restayrabts as well. For the Eggs Benedict, the English muffin was not toasted, the slab of ham far too think (and tough) for such a delicate dish, the bernaise sauce tasteless. The crab stack was overwhlemed with mayonase. To return again? Probably at least another 5 years and in hopes enough time has passed that culinary improvements have been made. What a disappoint way to start a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

This is a wonderful small boutique restaurant with excellent service and a delicious menu that changes biweekly.

I was in Dallas the past 2 days on business but have several friends in the area so 2 friends and I went to Parigi last night. It was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is not large but very cozy and had a great decor. There is valet parking in the back which you probably will definitely utilize and parking is tough to find in this area. The restaurant was very cozy. We got a table outside and very comfortable as they had pillow cushions as well at the table. Our server, Alex was VERY friendly and a good guy that was very efficient. We had a few appetizers. The jalepeno stuffed with cheese was GREAT. So were the deviled eggs. Definitely try those two. They were very good. My friends enjoyed their dishes. I got the special which was blackened grouper with jalepeno infused corn and fresh vegetables. It was very good. For dessert they didn't have a big menu but I got the Pecan pie with Apple Pie and it was decent. All in all a really cozy and great place. The clientele was all very classy. A great place to try in Dallas.

Impressive food in a small, simple atmosphere. Great service and good price. Great for business lunch or romantic dinner.

Cannot believe that I have never heard of Parigi! Booked a reservation wanting a special dinner for a family celebration and the on-line menu looked interesting. We were in for a treat! Located on Oak Lawn in a small space, but beautifully decorated with a feeling of casual elegance. My only complaint was an unfriendly hostess that did not seem too pleased that I asked to not be seated at the first table by the front door. (Really? I had made reservations and there were only 2 other parties seated.) The tables were beautifully decorated with white linens, candles, and beautiful pink roses. Our server was fantastic! (Shout out to Daryl Ann) She was the perfect mix of professionalism, friendliness, information and consideration - especially to my 83 year-old mother-in-law. The wine list and cocktail list was quite good. The menu was amazing! I can usually narrow my choices down to 2 and we were all having trouble deciding between 3 or 4 that caught our eye. Daryl Ann described each dish in detail and helped us to make choices, though I do think there would not have been regrets. The caesar salads and brussel sprouts salad were both extra delicious and are served with a variety of fresh baked breads. Our entrees were the pan-seared halibut with marbled potatoes, sea scallops and polenta, fresh gnocchi and blackened chicken risotto. Every item was near perfection. We enjoyed passing around tastes of each dish. Desserts included buttermilk pie and their "chocolate glob", this is exactly that - a bowl of chocolate brownie-like dessert with ice cream. YUM!! This may just be one of my new favorite restaurants in Dallas. It is a nice, upscale restaurant but pulls it off without feeling stuffy and pretentious. Two thumbs up!

This is a small restaurant built into a small strip-shopping center. While it’s easy to miss, you should make a point to eat there! It’s a wonderful experience! Everything was fresh and made from scratch in their tiny kitchen (which was open for the public to view). I love when a kitchen can be viewed by the patrons! The chef was completely skilled at his craft! We will definitely be back next time we’re in Dallas.

I enjoyed Parigi very much on my first visit ever. The brunch was very good and well priced. I took a group of friends and we all enjoyed the fab desserts as well

Great food! We were visiting Dallas for the weekend. We had the salmon and pecan encrusted chicken as well as the caesar salad that they're famous for. My best friend claims it was the best entree all weekend. Try to make reservations since it's rather small. Parking in back. Loved it.

Atmosphere was upbeat. Good energy. Busy kitchen. Friendly, efficient staff. Seemed to play well together. Food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic! From trout to pasta to the burger (what a burger!) and crispy fries, all were spot on. Deviled eggs and artichoke hearts also great starters. A bit pricey, perhaps, but not really when you consider the quality of the food. Always a plus and nod to freshness of fish is you don't smell it. At all. If you're a coctail person, this is your spot. Manhattan and Old Fashioned were a hit and we had a few. Buttermilk pie for dessert---amazing! Daryl Ann Thomson the manager, is an amazing woman and terrific representative of this under-the-radar gem of a restaurant.

I’ve heard really great things about Parigi. We’ve been wanting to come here for a year, but every time we thought of it, it’s Sunday evening and they aren’t open for dinner on Sundays (why?). The resultant itself is kinda hidden on Oak Lawn behind trees so you miss it unless you’re looking. We made reservations for a Monday night at 6pm (we had a show at 730). The restaurant was slow and we were seated immediately. The lights were way too bright for a restaurant, especially at dinner time (dim them, it’s more romantic!) and there was a fish smell in the air. We had a decent bottle of wine, an appetizer, salads and dinners. Service was pleasant, but slow. I think our waitress forgot to take our dinner order- it was well after we had finished the salads before she came back to take it and collect the menus. Again, the restaurant was NOT busy but it took quite a while for our food to come. It arrived around 720 so we had to rush to eat, and were late to our show. A restaurant with under 5 tables dining shouldn’t take this long to serve food. I’d be more understanding if it was busy (and our server didn’t forget to take our order). The food itself was good, but nothing special. It was presented beautifully, though. Overall, I’d say overpriced for what it is. Parigi was “OK”, but when there are so many options in Dallas, there is no need to revisit somewhere that isn’t great.

Greeted with a smile, and served with style. My sever, Shayla handled my food restrictions with grace, presenting my best options: the carpaccio followed by the Acorn Squash stuffed with Quinoa, veg, and dusted with cheese. It was delivered by Chef Janice- a nice touch. Don't pass on the bread basket- fresh baguette and a lovely stone wheat. ( secretly, the squash choice meant I still had "room for desert") Despite my indulgence, I made room for the Pecan pie topped with oatmeal chocolate chip ice cream. The pecan pie was served warm and had a delicate, almost fluffy texture beneath the brûléed pecans. The flavor of the ice cream was perfect, but I give it low marks for mouthfeel as it was a bit icey rather than decadent and creamy. All in all, Fete accomplis! Vive Le France.

Parigi has usually been a reliable Dallas standby but this visit last Saturday night was a disappointment. Appetizers came our reasonably fast, but had to repeatedly flag down waiter to order additional drinks, and fully 40 minutes between appetizer and mains. Reconstructed Calif Roll was superb appetizers as usual, as was the Ninny Salad, most of the mains were room temperature which was particularly inexcusable given the 40 minute wait. It appeared that management may not have been on sight this night which could account for the poor experience. Hope to give another try but will be awhile.

My first visit to Parigi, joining friends who told me about it after having lived in Dallas for 4 years. I love all things Parisian, and regret that I didn't know about this place before now. It is outstanding! Loved the Grilled Artichokes and Baked Garlic cloves as starters. I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken au Poivre, which had so much flavor. My friend enjoyed the Pan Seared Salmon, perfectly cooked. We ended the evening with espresso drinks and split the extraordinary Cherry Pie. Outdoor dining on a beautiful evening will make you think that you're sitting near the Eiffel Tower. Kudos to chef and all staff.

Always love the seasonal menu and pleasant personnel. Parking is in the back....even valet if needed.

After reading reviews online, my wife and I decided on this place. We walked in without reservation, the staff said they were very busy but they found us a table. From the drink menu to the dinner menu everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Good food, good service, solid wine list, poorly designed space
We dropped in for a quick saturday evening meal before theater. The maitre d'hotel was at first offput and it seemed to take a great effort to see if he could seat us. He finally agreed to seat us; unfortunately the restaurant space is poorly designed such that ever time the door opens a cold rush of air descends over the restaurant. Don't miss the devlled eggs.
