Very loud place, lousy service

By Adriana P |

We visited this place while attending an event at United Center. At first we were denied a table even though there were LOTS of empty ones because they claimed all of them were "reserved", which I found absurd considering it was almost half the tables in there. Then we were given a table and the server took forever to bring our food (about an hour for 3 burgers), got the wrong refills and brought me spicy tacos after I repeatedly told him I was wanted nothing spicy. The food was good and the place had a good ambience, lots of TVs and very lively, but the service was so lousy I'm not sure I'd ever want to return there.

Excellent service and food

By Tccutler |

Our waitstaff was very attentive and everyone’s food was delicious. Good beer selection. They validate parking and there is a free shuttle to/from the United Center.

Veery good happy hour

By HBM2010 |

Mon-Fri happy hours offer very good deals on drinks and food. Lots of beers on tap and half price drafts during happy hours ( 4-7). Food looked good, we only had the fried cheese curds which were excellent. Drink pours were generous. Patio is nice and inside there are double bars.

Good location before a Hawks game!

By Batholemew |

We went before a Blackhawks game. Fun place with lots of activity. They offer a shuttle bus before games which is helpful. I thought the food was so-so. The service was decent. They have a nice bar selection. My issue was the table we sat at. Right by the door and extremely cold. We had reservations and asked for a different table and were denied. Again, its a fun place but very little parking close by and alittle expensive.

Poor service

2.00 taco tuesday.. got 7 tacos and a coke... ended up costing 29.54.... called and they just blew me off....

Great restaurant before a Bulls/Blackhawks game

By EyeDoc01 |

Park Tavern is a very nice place to go before and/or after a Bulls/Blackhawks game. The service was very good (Julian was our waiter). We went before a Bulls game, and the restaurant provides free parking in back of the building and a free shuttle to the United Center. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We ordered pizza, which was not up to our standards, but other people around us ordered burgers and tacos, and they said they were very good. The beer selection was good, and aside from the pizza, there are probably other items on the menu that are good.

Love the food, pre-game atmosphere is cool

By Mags2155 |

Their menu is awesome, the deviled eggs with bacon and buffalo sauce are my fav. Make sure you make reservations if it's before a Blackhawks game, the place gets crazy.

Good beer variety, surprisingly good pizza

By JJPrem |

We ate here on 11/7/15 after the Bulls game. The place is near the United Center so we went in for the purpose of having a couple of beers. There must be 30 different beers on tap. Eventually, as is usually the case, all the beers made us hungry, so we ordered a deep dish pizza (sausage and peppers, of course). It was some of the better deep dish I have had in Chicago. There were also several huge TVs which made watching all the college football games easy. Would visit again if near United Center.

Good Place to Eat Before a United Center Event!

By T B |

You will want to reserve a table if you plan on eating there before a UC event, otherwise hope you can squeeze into the bar. The tavern has a nice bar, but there was only one bartender to service the big bar area which was slammed on a Thursday night after work and before a UC show. The food was good and reasonably priced. The tavern also offers a shuttle to the UC where the driver works on tips. There is on street parking and a parking garage, so park and have a bite and then head to a show. The shuttle will pick you up after the show and return you to the tavern.

Food good Service not so good

By 2barefoot |

We had dinner here as it was across the street from our hotel. It was extremely busy, and our waitress was unable to keep up. Food was good ( bar food) and was delivered in a reasonable time. But it was impossible to catch our waitress, for napkins ,drinks, or our check. We finally resorted to catching a different waitress. Hopefully she got our tip. They have a shuttle bus to the United Center. This was a great option, as it was pouring rain. Would return in the future, with hopes for a different level of service.

Great place for bar food before an event at the United Center

By NBKFamilyOfFour |

We've eaten at the Park Tavern a few times before Hawks games. It's alway super crowded on event days, so go to Open Table as soon as you get your tickets to grab a reservation. Sure, it's bar food, but it's always been good. I don't think in the dozens of meals we've had there have been any complaints. Service is generally pretty good considering when we've been there it's always been crazy busy due to the game. Great selection of tap beers. Assuming you park across the street, don't forget to grab a validation on the way out so you save $6 on parking.

close to united centre

By cantravel14 |

meadiocre waitstaff service, nice that they had shuttle to blackhawks game and they did get our food out quickly

Excellent Food & Service

By Lauri B |

Beer can chicken was delicious! Enjoyed the tacos, calamari, and pretzel rolls. Very convenient walk to United Center. Parking across the street in garage was $5. Staff was very friendly. Lots of TVs to watch sports events. Big patio outside. Large portions. Could make meal of appetizers alone or meals, both was too much food unless you want leftovers.

Close to United Center. Good food and craft beer

By Keith H |

We visited the Park Tavern a number of times on a recent trip to Chicago for a concert at the United Center. They offer discount for those staying at the nearby Chicago West Loop Hotel and even have a shuttle to take you to and pick you up from events. The staff is exceptional and the food excellent. There is a wide selection of craft beer as well. Highly recommended

Great Food & Value!

By Jennifer E |

We were a group of 6 before the Paul Simon concert & the place was packed. Appetizers came out quickly & there was a bit of a delay for our entrees as everyone was trying to eat & get to the concert quickly. Our server Jennifer was apologetic & kept us informed. She was great & we will definitely go back even if not attending an event at the UC.

Great place

By jevan332 |

Good food, great prices. Stopped in before the CBS Sports Classic. Nice place to go before/after an event at the United Center

Great food and location!

By Dianne T |

Great food and prices! It gets very busy for United Center events and shows, but we found a place at the bar around 5pm.

Average Sports Bar

By Darlene43 |

Food is very average unless you stick to appetizers and drinks. Nothing special although a LOT of TV's with all sports.

Beer. Burgers. Teamsters. Great!

Beer. Burgers. Teamsters. Great!

Nice Sports Bar

By Bubba0951 |

We attended a concert at the United Center last night and went to the Park Tavern for dinner prior to the concert. The pub was large with lots of televisions tuned to sports with a large selection of beers on tap. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of the beers on the menu. I'm not sure if it was because of a large turnout for the concert the evening before or because they were changing from summer to fall brews. We tried some of the appetizers, Animal Tots, quesadillas and buffalo wings and all were good. Happy hour is from 3-5:30 and they have a happy hour menu for appetizers. Prices are very reasonable for a bar in the city. Our server was Jeff and he was the best. We got there fairly early wanting to miss rush hour traffic and not knowing how busy it would be and Jeff was our server from 3 until 7. It was very convenient to park at the restaurant for free and take their shuttle to the UC and we ended up walking the four blocks back to the car. This restaurant is very good for attending an event at the UC. I would give the restaurant, food and beer a very good and Jeff the waiter an excellent, we will definitely go back.

Go here if you are headed to the United Center

By Bob S |

Last night I took my mother to a concert at the United Center. A few days before, I researched it a bit and then a friend reacted strongly when I told her my plans to start at the Park Tavern. I was looking for a place that had a shuttle to the stadium. She said she had been there before a Bulls game and had a good experience. That was enough to seal the deal for me. I could not be happier with the ENTIRE evening !! Getting there was easy and a parking garage was only a few steps away across the street. We easily made it to the Park Tavern and went inside to see a very large and modern setting with lots of seating as well as a huge outdoor area. Lots of tv's and atmosphere. The service and food was top notch as we killed a few hours before the concert and the place filled up. I had the foot long grilled cheese and tater tots & my mom had the fish and chips. Delish and huge portions. The staff were also very helpful by validating our parking ticket for the garage and filling us in on all the details of the shuttle to the concert. The shuttle driver was very nice and the ride took only 3 or 4 minutes to get us to almost the front door. Easy peezie ! He said he would be right there after the concert and he was. Even with many vehicles coming and going after the show, he returned in every 10 min for another load. We were dropped right back at the Park Tavern and the night was complete. I HIGHLY recommend heading here for anyone that is going to the United Center. I will certainly make the Park Tavern a permanent part of any event there in the future !

Very helpful staff

By Paula I |

We had food there which was good, not outstanding but fine. The last orders were 10 and they were great in leaving it to the last minute as my husband was travelling. Drinks good and service excellent. The next night they were shut for a party but loaned us their corkscrew as our hotel did not have one, legends!!! We got 10% off due to our hotel having a deal which is appreciated. Nice area outside for drinks too.

Easily accommodated a large group

By Joshua N |

We went here is a large group attending a conference. Naturally we called ahead and they had nearly 40 seats reserved for us during prime dining hours. Great service, good food and a perfect place to bring large groups or hang out at their modern bar.

Excellent lunch/dinner spot near United Center

By John_Loster |

I've been going to Park Tavern a ton since they opened about a year ago. Food is very good, smoked chicken sandwich is incredible. Pizzas are good as well. Lunch specials half-priced sandwiches on Wednesdays can't be beat. Good drink specials in evening, $4 craft beers on Monday. Free shuttle to United Center events. Highly recommend this place

Great Wings & Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

By cotraveler2370 |

Good selection of tap beer, great wings and buffalo chicken sandwichs. Get the mango habanero sauce.

Great food at a reasonable price

By Suenos911 |

The Baja fish taco's are excellent. The French dip is good as well. The fries both regular and sweet potato are not greasy and were hot when the plates arrived. Right across the street from Hotel Chicago. This will be the place we go when we need food fast and with great service.

Great for UC events

By soxfan55 |

Stopped here before a Hawks game and was pleasantly surpised. Free park yourself parking in ample sized lot. Reservations accepted. Plenty of TV's to catch game action. Best of all the food was excellent- a notch above standard bar fare. Even their house wines were decent. The shuttle could not have worked better for us. Thankfully with temps in single digits it appeared as soon as we exited UC and we were on our way.

Hidden Gem in Chicago

By gm2147 |

Friends happen to be staying at the hotel across the street from this place. We decided to check it out. Great inside space. Great selection of beer and wine. Interesting food menu. Loved the Foot long Grilled Cheese sandwich. A great place to visit.

Awesome!

By TheTinyThingsInLife |

Staff is awesome and the food is to die for! It is a great place to have a craft beer and some food before going to to a concert etc to United Center. Situated at walking distance. We will definitely go again if we go to Chicago! We highly recommend!

Place to go before an event at United center

By Juancho D |

Awesome - great food and selection of drinks - great beer selection - service was good even though the place was packed - these guys know what they are doing - parking place right next to it and I did see a shuttle to the United center - would not know how that works though- 7-10 min walk to united center

Worth a visit for burger and beer

By Scott M |

Located in a very non-cozy part of town, it turns out to be an inviting place with great burgers and a cool beer list. Our server was very attentive for a busy place, bustling with pre-game Bulls fans. One of us had the brisket plate with two tremendous sides (coleslaw, jalapeno-bacon mac and cheese), and the other had the brisket burger with fries. Tried an Epic Tart and Juicy Sour IPA - quite good! Parking in Teamster's structure across the street.

Great for drinks

By Tom G |

Tuna tacos -- sure, we tried them and my wife thought it was the best starter she had ever had -- Drinks were strong, did I really need that third Scotch? it was a warm autumn day and sitting outside on the second floor was just great. Service also very attentive.

Oink oink

Nice place but a bit hidden from the car park area. Found the baby pork ribs really nice, tender and fall off the bone easily. A great selection of beer.

Hawks Pregame Flop

By LilPig115 |

My family and I went to this Resteraunt before the Hawks game on December 23. Being able to park for free and take the shuttle to the game was a huge plus. Due to the game the place was busy but we got seated quickly. It took forever to get the waiter to come by our table and when he finally did, it took forever to get our drinks. We eventually placed our order and after another long wait I got the wrong meal. The waiter apologized and put in the correct order. As my entire family was finishing their meal I asked where mine was and the waiter said he would check. I asked him to put a rush on it due to us needing to leave for the game and he said he would try but didn't guarantee a quick turn around due to the cook "being moody." After another extended period I finally got my dinner and had to inhale it because now we were running late. My second meal was still messed up so I had to pick out the onions and choke down the blue cheese. At least this time I got a buffalo chicken wrap and not buffalo chicken mac, like the first time!!! The only positive out of this dining experience was that my meal was free due to the confusion. I will continue to use the free parking and shuttle service at Park Tavern but will no longer eat here. A few beers at the bar is about all I am willing to do.

Miss and a hit

By Ed B |

They were busy. Dropped our order. We hadn't complained but the manager and waitress both apologized. They comped our meal which I didn't expect. We liked our meal and will come back on our next visit to the United center

Charming place!

By JanRO56 |

We had a great experience here. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We ate inside but there was a large nice patio also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We had steak nachos and a burger.. They have a wide menu. We loved that it was right across the street from our hotel. If we are in the area sgain we would return!

good food and wine. good service

By Edward Z |

We enjoyed the Park Tavern. The food was excellent and the service was great! The menu is extensive, from great burgers and sandwiches to homemade pizzas and salads. The have good wines available.

Great location

By bobgibson011 |

If you are going to a United Center event, eg. Blackhawks, concert etc. You can walk which is about 3 blocks or Park has a free shuttle service back and forth. As far as the food goes... I ordered a plate of fried calamari for the table which was very greasy and when I asked for some cocktail sauce, the waiters looked at me like I was krazy. They said we do not have cocktail sauce but do have ketchup. We had orders of burgers, which were like a hockey puck, french fries dripping of oil, mac and cheese which was worse than terrible, catfish special which was terrible. As I said great location, terrible food. I'd suggest finding a place which would be a bit out of the way with a better chef.

Definitely recommend

By Rachel C |

Excellent food (I had a burger and the hand cut fries), friendly staff, good music, nice atmosphere and a clean place. Within walking distance from Rush hospital. 10/10 would recommend

Close to United Center

By CheddaP |

This is a great location if you'll be going to the United Center later on. We walked from Park Tavern (10 minute walk) but they also have a shuttle. The inside is a little bit plain and boring, but the food is good. We had a good waiter.

Best roasted chicken we ever had!

By Theresa K |

Wonderful staff, great food! A whole chicken with two sides for $20 feeds 2-3 adults. Free shuttle to and from United Centerpoint events and safe validated parking.

Service not so good

By kim l |

Dinner before the Eagles concert with my family. Seated at 610 waited forever for food that was finally served at 730 and the Concert starts at 8:00! When I told the man I assume was a manager that we needed to make the concert at 8 pm he said “Yea you and the 150 other people here tonight. Do you want it or not?” I would think you’d plan accordingly for nights of events when you know it will be busy. Food was lukewarm and what little we could quickly get down was not so good. Don’t recommend this place

GREAT Pre-event Spot

By jessengee |

Whatever you are heading to the United Center for, MAKE SURE you make this your first stop. The atmosphere is boisterous and fun and the food is GREAT. I had the buttermilk fried chicken...OMG one of the best I have ever had, anywhere. First, the chicken was smoked, then battered and fried! Sooooo tender and tasty. The others in my party all had the sliders (some beef and some pulled pork) and all liked them. Great selection of beers, so-so selection of wines. FREE shuttle to the United Center and validated parking across the street are bonuses!

Great sports bar close to United Center

By Cara M |

Huge sports bar with lots of room and plenty of tvs!! Came here prior to the sweet 16 games at United center. Staff was very friendly and the outdoor space is huge!! Didn't order food but it looked good! Also they offer shuttle service to the United Center -- huge plus if you are attending an event and don't want to pay for parking at the United Center.

Poor communication and management!

By John L A |

The bar itself was fine and we thought we were in for a fun evening prior to a basketball game. We had been at the bar for about 90 minutes and had just ordered some additional drinks when the manager came around and announced we had to leave the main bar area. The whole main bar area has been reserved by the Kansas Jayhawks fans! Absolutely no issue with that. The manager said we could move to the small bar for our dinner. Of course, at that point the small bar was full and no seats were available. When we called the manager on cashing us out he stated he told everyone when they walked in and that we must have “bum rushed the hostess stand”. Of course we didn’t - we had just been spending money there for over 90 minutes and were about to order food! The manager did not apologize - just cashed us out and said we had to leave the main bar area! As far as we are concerned the guy needs a lesson in customer management! Anyway, we just left. And we tipped our wait staff because none of this was their fault - just the manager’s! We took our dinner tab elsewhere - the Hyatt hotel bar/restaurant was not as crowded with good service and no managers were telling us to move!! Anyway, still looking forward to some good basketball! Go Cats and go Sparties!!

Park and eat near work and the games

By Nicholas L |

The restaurant is a sports bar and grill, which is located across the street from a pay to park garage. There is parking on the street, but the street parking spaces are usually occupied during the day. The location is five blocks from the Chicago Bulls and Hawks stadium. If you are going to a game or concert and want a meal and beverage, this is a good place to visit before start time. If you work at one of medical centers in the area, Park Tavern is a nice place for lunch or after work. The menu is a light meal and pizza / sandwich and burger menu. The food is good and the staff provides great service.

Busy night but staff found us a table

By Carla U |

If there is an event going on at the United Center, they shuttle you for free Highly suggest reserving a table. We didn't staff fit us in in a dark corner on a high top. Not ideal, but the service was excellent and the food so-so. The free shuttle made up for the so so food

Has potential, needs work

By MLB1221 |

The location of Park Tavern is good for any United Center event. Unfortunately the wait staff was only adequate at best. We were there before a Blackhawks game and while the atmosphere was nice, the wait staff made the experience less than satisfying. Even though they knew there was a game that night, they were inadequately prepared for the crowd. Bar stations were unstaffed and it took a long time for drinks and food service. This place has great potential but I feel they are missing out by not being properly staffed and responsive to customer needs.

Dinner

By A N |

In my opinion this is not a good option for dinner. It's a nice place to have a couple of beers and cheese curds. That's about it!the service was great.

Great place to eat and drink

By Nancy A |

We have been going here for years for drinks when someone retires from our nearby office. They have always been gracious accommodating our large group with a set aside space and wait staff. Last time we went for drinks we were the first ones there, so we ordered at the bar. It was packed, yet when it was my turn to order, the bartender could not have been more attentive to my draft beer questions and although she was efficient, she did treat me like I was the only person in the place at that moment and my order mattered to her. Really cool. On a sunny day a few weeks ago a few of us decided to go for lunch to enjoy the great outdoor space. So glad we did: all of us loved our food. I had half sandwich (grilled cheese=delish!) and salad (chopped=yum!) and I have seen worse knife cuts on salads at the best and most expensive restaurants. Oh and the waitress was great too. Yesterday a few collogues went for lunch and raved: it was just that good.

Great Food!

By Nicolmaree |

A friend and I looked for a place close to the United Center for the Justin Timberlake concert and came upon Park Tavern. The menu looked interesting and there was a parking garage across the street. We had pretzel sticks and a thin crust pizza. It was very good! We also had a brownie with ice cream on top for dessert that was yummy as well. We took our left over food to the car and little did we know there was a shuttle that took us right to the concert! Jerry was the driver he was very helpful and nice!! We didn't have to move are car from the parking garage. He took us there and showed us where we were to be picked up and he was ready waiting for us. Would definitely return here if we were back in town to go to a show at the United Center.

A lot of beers on tap

By Shonna D |

This place is very busy and very loud. They do have outdoor seating. You should really make a reservation because we had to wait 40 minutes on a Wednesday night. The mac and cheese is really good. The portions are very large. The animals tots are a Chicago must have.

Great post game stop

By zimmys57 |

We stopped in after a Bulls game and had a round of drinks along with a pizza. It was not very busy so our order was taken promptly and the piping hot sausage and spinach large pizza arrived in short order and it was just what we all were looking for. We will definitely return again when we have a United Center event.

Before Queen concert

By ForTheLoveOfTravel |

Great place to eat before an event at the United Center because they have a free shuttle. Everyone extremely friendly. Our waitress was terrific and attentive. Great food with quite a variety on the menu. There also was a gluten-free menu with many choices. I really liked the gumbo and their Caesar salad made with their homemade dressing. However, the original Mojito was the worst one I've ever had. One leaf of mint and it wasn't even stirred nor mottled. I don't think technically you could call it a Mojito. But enjoyed everything else. definitely will be back.

Closest to United Center

By ktkadish |

Met friends here before event at United Center. Only had apps and drinks. Was very crowded, but able to get table on OpenTable. Most guests were standing around one of the two bars. Thought I saw a shuttle bus taking some fans to United Center, but walk was less than 10 minutes. Convenient if taking cab/car service from other parts of city. If parking at United Center, might be a different story.

United center MJ pic

By ao7841 |

Cool place. My brother and I stopped by after taking a pic at the MJ statue at the United center. Lots of beers on draft and specialty drinks. For a Friday afternoon the place was packed. Lots of friendly drunks. Lol.

Rooftop Dinning

By Crashman1000 |

Weather happened to be nice enough (70) for a Group of us to eat up there and it was great. Views of Millennium Park were cool. They have those portable fire stands around to help keep some warmth around. Food was above average. I had the pork chops which tasted great but the one was pretty dry. I told the waiter and he said sorry.. Our group had apps and deserts and wow both were tasty and huge. More so the deserts. So big the 5 of us couldn't finish them.

Drinks near the united center

Had an awesome bartender, good drinks great food not far from Marriott and Chicago Hotel. Near united center

Loved This Place!

By Lindsey K |

My boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here before heading to the Bulls vs Cavs game. I had heard good things and we have been to the one in Rosemont before. We parked in the public parking garage across the street and walked over. We were an hour early for our reservation, but they sat us immediately. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had a couple drinks, an appetizer and two entrées. I told them it was his birthday and they brought him out a chocolate brownie with ice cream and a candle. Just an FYI, this was not free. We had an $8 charge on the bill for it. If you take the time to stop at the hostess stand and have them validate your parking, your parking will only be $5! We decided to take the complimentary shuttle to the UC since it was freezing. The driver, Jerry was funny and got us there in one piece. His short bus stalled in the middle of an intersection on the way back after the game, but it was so funny and it really made the night.

A rare place to have a drink by the United Center

By Scott319 |

We had lunch here between morning and afternoon games during the Big Ten Tournament. The relative isolation of the United Center means there aren't many options of places you can get to/from in the two hour break between sessions but the Park Tavern was perfect for this. Huge beer on tap selection and sandwiches that I liked. Two beers I had that were fantastic: Firestone Double Jack IPA and Acadia Loch Down Scotch Ale. I also had the Founders Centennial IPA that I didn't like as much. I had a Mexibano sandwich (pulled pork) that was decent. Lots of TVs to watch games and the wait staff really hustled to serve hundreds of Big Ten fans. I will be back.

Great Blackhawks bar

By Shelliu |

Crazy busy before every game and concert at United Center and the location is perfect since it’s walking distance. Food is mixed but drinks and bar are better. Tacos are huge with 4 tacos, beans and rice and one of my favorites. Wings and wedge salad were disappointing.

Great atmosphere, great building

By Justin C |

To start: it's so very easy to park right across the street from Park Tavern and have them validate your ticket, and that means a lot more in Chicago than you'd think. The food was all uniformly delicious - they had a tater tot and bacon casserole that was so much better than how it might sound on pen and paper. There's a separate second floor party room that overlooks the rest of the restaurant, and it really gives it a much more upscale feel despite it essentially serving bar food. Great place, would absolutely go back!

Great for pre United Center events

By JennSkellington |

We stop here every time we are attending a concert or a game at the United Center. The staff is very kind even though it's always super busy. Good food, great beer list and the shuttle to the United Center is helpful when it's raining. Overall a place we'll be back to again and again.

Very busy and hectic

By M D |

Went here before the Maroon 5 concert. It was super busy and very hectic. Upon arrival the worker took my number to text me when a table arrived. I received her initial text to let me know we were on the list. Yet, I’m still waiting 2 days later to get the text that a table is ready. We went outside and got some drinks from the bar and sat around. Finally the bartender told us we could order from him. So we did. He said it should take 10-15 minutes for our food. It took an hour. The place started clearing out as concert tile drew closer so he told us we could move to a table outside and our food would be out soon. Lots of people were complaining about the long wait for food. When it came it was Luke warm but it was delicious. If it wasn’t so busy and chaotic I’m sure this place would be a really cool place to get some drinks and food.

Good stop before a Hawks game

By Steven C |

The Park Tavern is a great stop, close to the United Center to grab dinner and drinks before a game or event at the Center. The bar is quite big and has two bars downstairs with ample seating and an upstairs lounge with bottle service only. The tavern does accept reservations and it is a great idea if you plan on stopping here for some food before a game as it does get quite busy. Another great feature that the tavern offers is free parking behind the building and a free shuttle service to stadium that will also pick you up at the same drop off location after the event is over. Great way to save a couple bucks on parking and do not have to deal with the traffic trying to leave the center. Would highly recommend this a stop if you are headed to an event at the United Center.

Good food and shuttle service

By flybye60 |

They have a very large patio if you want to sit outside. Insider is very spacious. Decent size bar seating. The food prices were very good given that it can be pricey in Chicago. They had great beer selections and cocktail offerings. A really nice touch was the free shuttle to the United Center. They took you and picked back up after the venue. And, of course it was time to keep the party going. The staff is friendly. They book up quickly when there is an event at the Center.

Amazing 😍

By dgee86 |

We visited this restaurant prior to a concert and it was A-MAZ-ING. I loved the atmosphere, the staff was awesome, and my tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend!!

Convenient, with a good selection

By VictoriaK2 |

I enjoyed that this was right across the street from my hotel. They had a good happy hour special. The menu had a nice selection and I really liked the Chicago Roll and the steak dinner.

Great place before Hawks game

By thee5gees2015 |

I tried to make a reservation online, but it did not work. But the host/hostess was great and found us a table anyways. Drinks were good and food was quick and really good. The server we had upstairs was awesome. Thanks~~~

Pre venue place - PERFECT LOGISTICS

By Juancho D |

if you have an event at United center please read and follow - (highly suggested - thank me later) Make a reservation in this awesome restaurant - park right in front of it (the restaurant will stamp the ticket for parking discount) - eat great food American pub style - get in the free (only tips) shuttle provided by the restaurant and head on to event - have fun- get picked up by shuttle and head back to park tavern or parking lot ... perfection

40th Birthday Weekend

By Mrsj0320 |

Let me start off by saying that I will NEVER in life visit this so called place of business again. We were there Dec 2nd, and I asked was any sections available we was told no from the bar tender and there was. Also, can the drinks be watered down any harder?? Now my husband played for Green Bay and New Orleans so I can afford a section for my 40th. So we sat in some chairs by the bar me and 5 of my female friends. Two security and I guess a employee *all male) very angry telling how we can't sit there. If my husband was there...very disrespectful to women. The African American guy with the dyed beard and glasses needs to get some so he won't treat women like that!

Visited Park Tavern for dinner and drinks before the Hawks game. Above average bar food and large beer selection. Service was slow but the place was packed with Hawk fans before the game. Offers shuttle to game but only a few blocks away so we walked. Reduced parking rates at garage across the street from bar.

Great food! Will go again!

I was there for a short while during my overnight stay in Chicago. Their shrimp tacos is really good. The place is pretty huge -- has two bars and would like to go back for drinks especially on a game day.

Have been a couple of times now and really starting to enjoy the joint. Great beer selection - always important to me - and very good food. Quickly gaining favor on my list!

Great food & bartender

Got take out from here. Food was delicious (buffalo mac and cheese to die for) and the bartender was gracious and nice!

Nice environment. Good food, affordable and a bar what more do you need? If you're in the area checkout their Saturday evening party.
