Real Southern Cookin'

By OldEagle48 |

Whenever I am in Terminal B in Atlanta, I try to grab breakfast at Paschal's. The food is pure southern and I enjoyed the eggs, bacon and fried potatoes - I usually have the grits. While it is a buffet, the food is always hot and tasty. Their lunches are also typically southern with chicken and greens. I am not a fan of greens, but the people I go with say they are good. I will be there again on my next trip.

Great Early Morning Breakfast between flights

By tig1974 |

Landed at Hartsfield Jackson Intern'l around 7:30 am looking for a good breakfast spot! I followed the crew that flew our flight and they were all headed to Paschal's(located in Concourse B). Ordered the Sunrise breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the ample servings of scrambled eggs, biscuits with choice of gravy toppings and grits. Vickey M was cheerful and energetic as she took my order. This is definitely a go to for a great meal which included coffee for under $10. Judging by the line that formed soon after my arrival, I gather that this is a very popular spot for many early bird flights. Definitely would return to enjoy a wonderful morning breakfast. Great job Vickey M

Worth a longer layover

By Lanny |

I was first introduced to other Concession Paschal's in Hartsfield-Jackson airport by a now-departed friend Willy Leventhal in 2005. Now, whenever I fly Delta I schedule a longer layover so I have plenty of time to enjoy a delicious soul food meal at Paschal's on Concourse B. This would be good food anywhere but compared to the overpriced fast food fare in this or any other airport, it's amazing. Everything is cooked from scratch right here in their airport kitchen! You have to try it for yourself. And the staff are warm and friendly, just what you would expect from the much talked-about "southern hospitality." Can you tell I'm a fan?

Fast Avia

By soldieroflite |

Avia asked me what I would like and I ordered the biscuit and gravy with eggs and grits. And she was helping out a couple in front of me. Avia was very efficient and took care of the me and the couple in front of me quickly. I sat down and ate the biscuit and gravy. It was the good. The eggs needed seasoning and I couldn't find the salt and pepper.  The grits were good.

So Glad We Tried It-Delicious!

By pennypbj |

We were waiting for a flight and decided to give this a try. We're so glad we did! My husband loved his fried chicken and greens. I got a vegetable plate and the sweet potatoes were delicious as were the greens! This is by far the best airport food we've tried!

Good quick soul food

By John C |

If you need some good, quick soul food, stop here. As usual, I tried the fried chicken and greens since it was my first stop here. It was solid! I really liked my food. Price was reasonable too. I only give 4 out of 5 because it’s a limited menu when compared to a stand alone restaurant. That’s understandable considering it’s an airport food court. Try them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Hit the southern spot!

By Cynthia Z |

Friendly staff! The fried okra, collards and black eyed peas were the bomb! Should have ordered 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweetened tea mixed- as it was too sweet for me but all was delicious!

Southern Cooking Like No Other

By alisone97 |

Decided to try this location after poor service at another franchise. Glad we did. This is excellent southern cooking with all southern menu choices. Being born and bred in the south myself, I'm an expert at the taste of southern dishes. It's not too fatty, too salty, or gritty.

Southern fast food in decent prices

By Jefferson A |

But not decent variety and super greasy. Cafeteria style, food is sitting around and getting crusty; not cooked to order. Still might be an interesting choice to try something new. Really nice people and fast service.

Rude employee

By NJTZ |

Imagine that you are in a foreign country and not familiar with the breakfast menu at all, instead of trying to be nice, all you get from the employee was only being impatient and mean..... if you don’t wanna work in the morning then don’t, why ruin the travellers’ morning. Too upset not to write the review.

Biscuits and gravy, BLAH

By redwinguno |

Waiting for a flight, got biscuits and gravy hoping to have some real southern food. If this is southern food, I'm not impressed. Just waaay too much flour and hardly no sausage in the gravy. It was very bland. I couldn't wait to get home to make some good biscuits and gravy. I really wanted to try the corned beef but there was a pool of fat around the meat which looked really bad. It had no scoops of of it so it wasn't old just bathing in fat. No thanks, really dissapointing.

Best Airport Restaurant In The Country

By kbw20112016 |

If you like southern food, Paschal's is the best airport restaurant in the country. They have great chicken (baked or fried), fish and the best sides. I got the baked chicken, collard greens, yams and cornbread. The service is great as the employees have that southern hospitality as you will hear "thank you sweetie" and other southern sayings. Their breakfast is awesome also as you get a lot of food for the money. The line moves quickly so no worries if you have a short layover. Head over to terminal B and enjoy!

Yum!!

By JRD1024 |

We foumd this place by mistake. We ordered two dinners: fried chicken, Mac, greens and friend chicken, Mac and yams. I also got a side of fried okra. My father owned several soul food resturants and no matter where I go I am never able to buy a full meal in which everything was good. Here I was able to get a full meal and everything was on point. Even the biscuits were really good. It always good to get real food vs. Wendy’s etc. The only negative thing is that we were really full and still had a full day of travel. But I honestly can’t wait to go back.

Horrible!!!

By Jwvv |

This is really bad food and abusive employees. If it wasn't in an airport it would be bust in 1 day. I only wanted chicken and they charged me more than a meal with the same amount of chicken. As I walked off the employee chided me. NEVER AGAIN

The Walkers Trip

Went to this restaurant and really enjoyed the food and the historical background. Would go back to this eatery and will tell our friends to visit.

Surprisingly Great!

By Vaycay18 |

I ate the candied yams, collards, cornbread, chicken strips, and peach cobbler. The food was very good. I typically don't prefer to eat soul food from restaurants because it usually tastes fake/commercial, non- traditional or just plain bad. This food was on point! Anyhow, the restaurant was packed with customers waiting to order, and some of the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Food was flying out the pans. Anyhow, I plan to stop there from now on when I am ATL. I was so surprised at this find. Anyhow, portion sizes were good, and price was reasonable. M y meal costed about $18.

Nice food

Stopped and ate during a layover here in Atlanta. Was pleased with the baked chicken, collards and Mac n cheese.

Best Chicken

By Roland S |

Some of the best fried chicken I have had in years. Mac and cheese was great as well as the greens. Staff was super nice. Great for airport food.

Quick disappointment

By BowserJournal |

Stopped here in my way to BNA. The line was long but they moved you quickly through it. I ordered fried chicken, corn, and macNcheese. They messed up the order and gave me collard greens. The fried chicken tasted good but was dry. I would not eat here again.

Three Vegetable Plate

By SavantIII_11 |

We departed Dayton this morning with temperatures in the low 30’s to Palm Beach with temperatures in the mid 80’s. We have allowed ample time for Delta delays, and dodged the bullet in reference to the East Coast post-Christmas winter storm. We have discovered Paschal's Southern Cuisine. Interesting Southern Fare. We eschew the fried meats, and enjoy a Three Vegetable Plate: Collard Greens, Black-eyed Peas and Sweet Potatoes. Paschal's Southern Cuisine is a great option when connections do not permit a longer dining experience.

Best airport choice

By Brian K |

Had the chicken tenders which were just made. The candied yams and mashed. All were excellent and really enjoyed every part of my lunch. Surprisingly good for the airport. But similar attitude from all ATL restaurant staff down right angry people

Good food BAD Attitude

By Tracy G |

I wanted to ensure I left a review of my experience yesterday at Terminal B at Atlanta Airport. I wanted soul food before I left Atlanta and was excited to see a black establishment in the airport. The food looked and smelled amazing. The line was very long to be expected. Soon as I got to the front after 15 min wait. I was told the fried chicken (was cooking) and would be a 15 min wait. So I said well I'll wait I guess since I've been in line waiting for awhile. The staff member a female has braids and her nasty attitude was off the hook. I mean rolling the eyes. Tossing the to-go food box to the side. cutting me off like NEXT..... she was at least 24-30 and around 5"4. I didn't sound aggressive to her.... and didn't say anything out of character for her behavior. People are at the airport for a reason. They are waiting for flights. My flight was boarding while I was waiting for chicken to cook. And this female who was acting like a real jerk putting on a show. I noticed her staff nudging her. or whispering something to her to knock it off. I am a business owner of 2 companies and would be livid at my staff. I wanted to let you know I'm disgraced and embarrassed about "my people" acting like a dam food. So this Is how I handle things is via social media. Get her in check or get rid of her. Your business will suffer greatly with someone like that giving attitude to paying, waiting customers. We all have many other options in the food court!!!!!!! The food was bomb (meaning very good) I'm from Boston and this is how I do business!

Surprisingly good pulled pork

By Sailingalbvi |

This was a great lunch stop. Service good, food tasty, and friendly employees. Had the BBQ pulled pork, very nice tangy, the collards were hot, tender, the potato salad tasted fresh, cold and homemade. The corn bread little muffins were good with honey. I’d return the next time I’m in ATL.

Terminal B - dependable...

Terminal B - dependable... It's a decent breakfast for a fair price. Courteous employees and the food is consistently hot and fresh. Thanks for reading my review!

Good Breakfast during layover

By cedso16 |

I ordered the eggs and southern grits plate with a biscuit and my oh my was it delicious. Better than I expected. There were other items being offered that looked tasty. They are located at the end of the line in the corner near the windows. Well worth the walk and wait. I will definitely look for this concept on future layovers at the airport.

Good greens

By Expert Traveler |

The collard greens were excellent, not bitter at all. They were made very well. I also enjoyed the black eyed peas. And the macaroni and cheese is also great. This is a nice alternative to the same old same old food in the airport. I will eat here again

Good food and service!

By lemlov |

Arrived at airport few hours early so decided to find some good food. I stumbled upon this place by 'searching' airport food. Food was seasoned very well. I had a vegetable plate (sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese, black eye peas, and greens) all seasoned well. My only criticism would be the corn bread, as it's very dry. Otherwise, I felt it was reasonably priced for portions and quality.

Excellent Southern Food

By Thomas G |

We ate here during a layover November 1. I asked about the fish, and was told they would have to make some and it would take about 7 minutes. As I considered, the lady added, "it's worth the wait". I'd say that it definitely was worth the wait. I got the mac & cheese and the collard greens. Both were very good. Not many places serve collard greens and an airport restaurant is even more of a surprise.

Lunch before our flight.

By Paula R |

What a pleasant surprise. Very nice ladies working today 6/13/17 @1:32 pm. My husband ordered the two piece baked chicken meal with greens and corn. I had the two piece fried chicken and greens and sweet yams, with both trying cornbread. Good amount of food for the price. Every airport has expensive food. This was better than a lot of places we have tried in Atlanta airport. I didn't enjoy the greens so much, I have had better so I am spoiled. They were good just not fantastic. The Yams were VERY good. I think I enjoyed the yams the best. The Chicken was also good. This is in the Food Court in Concourse B in Atlanta Airport. I would definitely come back in future. I didn't realize they serve breakfast too.

doesn't get any better

Nothing so special

By lalav m |

I had two fried chicken meal with mac n cheese and collard greens. The fried chicken was just ok, there’s nothing special about and the collard greens were little too salty for my taste. I had a high expectation because of all the good reviews but it was quite average.

Very good option

By James Hytner |

Fast and friendly service. The fried chicken was light and crispy. The baked chicken had great flavor and was not dry. The collard greens were the star - well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese was just ok. Reasonable prices - great airport choice.

Love their breakfast

By Brent V |

Good breakfast food at a reasonable price for an airport. Great Sweet tea. It is in the food court in concourse B.
