I visit my daughter on the West Coast at least once a year. Last year we discovered Pasta Sisters which is located 5 minutes from my daughter's home. We loved our dinners and knew we would be going back. I was in LA this past week and we ordered takeout one night and we ate lunch in the restaurant one day. Each time we have tried something different. Our meals were delicious. The tiramisu is also fabulous! I bought one to take on the plane back to Boston. The staff is warm and welcoming, answering questions and offering suggestions and helpful in making decisions. As other reviewers have said, it is small with limited seating so you should be aware of this. They have a case full of homemade pasta and sauces and desserts to take home. My daughter tried to buy their nutella cookies both visits this past trip and they were sold out. I can't wait for my next trip to LA for more delicious food at Pasta Sisters.

We visited this restaurant on it's 5th day of opening. Even though the place was heaving the staff and service they delivered was really good. The food was excellent. I would recommend to anyone.

Homemade pasta and sauces from sustainable organic sources. Prepared by loving family hands. Always a warm welcome. Order at the register then sit down with your basket of fresh bread and beverage. The menu is ala cart, pick and pair their tender pasta with your favorite sauce, or, try something new. The gnocchi is so light and tender, lovely with the salmon and cream sauce. They offer hearty casseroles, eggplant is back! Or beef stew in a rich tomato gravy. Sandwiches salads side dishes and sweets too. Not hungry enough for a meal, try one of the cold plates. Check the boards for the daily specials. Specialty coffee and teas or bottled/canned cold drinks. This is a lovely young family, arriving with Grandmothers cook book in hand and while they follow her recipes to perfection, they are working to perfect their own. They are always happy to stop and spent a few minutes with customers, very attentive. The dining area is very small, no outside seating. While they do not serve breakfast let me tell you, take home some leftovers, slide into a skillet, crack an egg over top cover and heat gently. Best breakfast ever!!! For brunch try taking home some naked pastas with a few sauces, meats and cheeses from the deli then add your fave veggies and fruits. Call ahead take out orders, catering and delivery available. 323-870-5271. Monday-Friday 11:30 am. till 7:30 pm Saturday 11:30 till 3:30 closed Sunday. The only negative, no public bathroom.

Love the new Culver City location: cosy and stylish, the pasta is as delicious as in the first Pico location.

We had an amazing time. There was no table available in the patio for four, but our server made it possible by joining tables and moving a few tables around. He was amazing. It was very busy but still food came out on time and food was delicious

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who raved about the place - and I see why. I had the gnocchi with pesto sauce and it was absolutely fantastic. The pesto was creamy and full of flavor - the best I've ever had. The gnocchi were pillowy soft and delicious, not chewy or spongy like often is the case. My fiance had spaghetti with cream sauce and it, too, was incredible (we split our dishes with each other). The sauce was buttery and smooth, free from the gloopy texture cream sauces tend to be. The one downside to our visit is the wait and the micro-sized 'dining area' - I quoted it because the store has a very small footprint and room for maybe 8-10 people to sit. I counted 22 people waiting to order and/or waiting to receive their food - the line was well out the door. This place is destined to move into a true, full-size restaurant space given the quality of its food - hopefully soon.

Maybe it was an off night but the service was pretty bad, and I can't give Pasta Sisters the review its food deserves. Stood in line a long time to order at the register, at least 20 min, then waited at least as long again for our food to come to the table. Everything came out at once, the cocktails, entrees, and desserts. No napkins or silverware, just figure it out yourselves. I don't get how this service model is good for customers. Also did not appreciate the manager who interrupted our conversation to tell us not to use parmesan cheese on pasta with clam sauce. The desserts were delicious, but we couldn't wait to leave.

My daughter took us to Pasta Sisters on our LA visit last week. The Caprese plate was delicious but the pastas... Salmon in cream sauce, pesto and Bolognese were all amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant on Pico is tiny but the food is so worth it!

Our grandson (age 13) had seen a DVD of a pasta competition where Pasta Sisters won against some famous chefs. So, before we left CA, we had to visit. The daily-fresh pasta was excellent. Four of us had three different dishes. Our grandson used superlatives - "best ever." It's a small place - seating 15-20 patrons, and we could watch a chef measuring and cutting sheets of pasta from a long roll. If we lived in CA, we would go here often. Great service, really fine food.

Genuin Italian food with something special every week on the menu. I loved every pasta I tried and my favorite is Pappardelle porcini mushrooms 🍄.dont forget to try their homemade Crostata or ricotta sfogliatelle as dessert, coming on a daily basis directly from Naples Italy! 🇮🇹

Pasta Sisters is .......a SUPERLATIVE QUALITY ITALIAN FOOD TYPE OF RESTAURANT. BEST pasta dishes ever tried. Best of the best goes to the gnocchi. All types of pastas are handmade respecting the typical Italian tradition. They also have min courses, from fish to meet, and they are all unpeccable. Mainly Take Out but they do have 2/3 little tables and you can eat in. Probably the BEST Italian restaurant in LA without getting ripped off !!!!!! Excellent quality. Also it's a real family business and you feel it. They put all they have in any single dish prepared. This is a MUST !!!!!

My friend and I went here when we were in LA area going to Universal studios and Disney land. This is a must go to!! The food was absolutely amazing and the price was right!!! We were coming from San Francisco and we have great food in San Francisco so we have a high bar for restaurants to impress us and Pasta Sisters does not disappoint. It is a must!!!

Hand-made pasta, perfect sauces, what else can you ask for? We had the gnocchi with pesto, gnocchi with bolognese, and the tagliatelle with a tomato basil sauce. Out of this world. However, there are only seats for about 10 people. It is small, and was very crowded when we came, so we sat in the car to eat, and it was totally worth it. This is NOT a sit down type of restaurant.

This place has a total of 16 places to sit. I won't say tables, because they only have three tables, and two counters. I suppose the idea here is to order take out, and they certainly have the customers for that. The place is usually packed, because the food is authentic Italian. To our dismay, however, there is virtually no room to sit down. We were lucky in that we hit the place just as a counter became free. But if you're planning on eating in the restaurant, good luck. Perhaps you can bring it out to your car and sit in it to eat. Not my idea of a fun date. But, if you're a foodie, this is the place for freshly made, authentic pasta and an assortment of other dishes. Just don't plan on eating it here. When will they get a large enough space already? They clearly have a big following . . . .

What a find! The pasta sisters, from Padua, make their own pasta. We've tried several kinds, and they are all delicious. The salads are also ample and fresh. Another idea - one of our friends bought their homemade pasta sheets to make her own pasta. They are sweet and accommodation. One tiny complaint, the take-out portions are a bit small. But, hey, everything under $10, and fresh pasta. Such a cute place too - you can easily see into the kitchen. We spend 2-3 months each year in Rome; so we know our pasta, and this is excellent.

A very small new restaurant that serve freshly made pasta with a choice of delicious sauces and preparations, plus a daily special. Friendly staff.

I have flown from Singapore and put Pasta Sisters on the top of my list of places to visit. It did not disappoint. The flavours of the sauce match the texture of the tagliatelle perfectly. Simple, fresh and made from the heart.

They make homemade pasta there on site which is very good. And the tomato basil was the best! Unlimited bread, *super good and already salted*. The line gets long and there are limited seats.

My husband and I ate at the new restaurant in Culver City on Friday. You place your order at the cashier and get a number for your table where they bring your your food. We brought a bottle of wine and since they had just obtained their wine and beer license, they gave us free corkage. I did not like the fact that they bring all of your food at once because I would like to eat my appetizer before my entree. You could order your food at different intervals, but this would require having to wait in line each time and the line was almost out the door by the time we finished our food. The gnocchi with pesto was really good as well as the black truffle linguini. We also had the burrata with argula and tomatoes. If I were them, I would substitute ripe cherry for beefsteak tomatoes. All and all, this was a good meal, but I would like spaced service.

Read great reviews of the first one and ine the one in Culver City. My experience unfortunately did not yield a great meal. I could be find the bolognese sauce on the past. It was a take out order- stale bread and small portion for the price they charge. Too bad- I was thinking how nice to have this close by.

Went for take out sandwiches. Bread was homemade and sandwiches very tasty. The highlight though was the blood orange gelato. While we were waiting of our sandwiches we noticed the pasta dishes. You pick your past and then the sauce from several selections. It looked terrific. We'd order that next time.

Came here for lunch, the very friendly and helpful Francesco recommended that I try the Bottarga with homemade spaghetti. It was an umami explosion, so delicious! The noodles were perfectly al dente and the bottarga was the right amount of crispy and salty. The accompanying bread and olive oil was incredibly fresh. I followed up with the panzerotti combo-Francesco happily informed me I could have one of each. The crust was so flaky and and the fillings with bursting with flavor, the sauce was the perfect compliment. You could taste the freshness in each bite. I sat at the counter and chatted with fellow patrons and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They were very on top of everyone finishing up who needed their plate cleared and provided diners with anything they needed to make their experience even better. It's very apparent that all staff from the kitchen to the cash register really cares about what they are creating and are very committed to making fresh, artisanal flavors approachable to all. I can't wait to return to this unexpected neighborhood gem.

I had some pasta with truffle sauce and gnocchis. Almost better than the ones I had in Venice a couple of months ago.

My girlfriends and I like trying new places and this new restaurant popped up on Instagram the day I met up, so we decided to give it a shot. The location is very random near Pico and Arlington. It's a bit further south than most of the popular restaurants, but that didn't stop us or the many patrons that stopped by while we were there. The place is teeny tiny with a few barstools and maybe 3-4 tables. You'll need to get there early or the tiny place will be filled with people waiting to place their order. I liked how customizable my meal was. I was able to chose the type of pasta and the sauce I wanted it with. Customizable meals are not always the best quality, but this place is totally different. The handmade pastas were tasty and perfectly al dente. The mushroom sauce I chose was rich and perfect. I'll definitely make it back here.

When you have great quality food people notice and if you know real fresh pasta you applaude them. This place, quite small, can really make fresh pasta and amazing display of plating for a fast food style. Don’t order first and second since the system is yet to accomodare the timing. Glad to endorse and great luck for the future.

Incredible value for fresh made pasta with really good ingredients in each sauce! Place is incredibly small so they do a huge take out business. But we sat at the bar and watched them make every order (dine in and take out) to order, was quite impressive. Manager who runs the place provides great service. FYI, no beer or wine sold here. Also they have a secret menu. You can add a huge bubble of baratta to any pesto or tomato based sauce, salmon with cream sauce and a few other surprises; just ask.

We saw this place in a BuzzFeed video and decided to try it as they were reviewing it well. And they were right ! All the pasta was freshly made and the sauces were very good. Would definitely recommend !

My daughter wanted to go there for her birthday, we drove almost 2 hours and I'm glad we did. I just visited Italy this year so I wanted real Italian food, and pasta sisters did not disappoint me. The pasta was fresh (homemade) and delicious! the sauces were perfect, along with the basket of wonderful (all you want) fresh bread. the salad was the perfect compliment to our pasta, the cheese was A-mazing! You can also buy olive oil to take home, also balsamic vinegar and cheeses. I wish they had more products from Italy. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the place is extremely small and parking is limited, other than that I have no complains. I plan on driving the 2 hours again just to have that pasta again and again.

First for those who are not aware. Pasta sisters is a deli in a strip mall with very few tables. They offer freshly made pasta and sammies for takeout. My niece had read about this place and to make her happy we drove one hour out of our way to come here. For us it was a waste of time. We are from jersey, the land of pizza shops and Italian restaurants. Perhaps this is California Italian, but it was nothing like jersey Italian. We ordered a ricotta and spinach panzarotti. It was the size of an empanada and very watery inside. The ham and cheese panzarotti equally small and not very flavorful. I got an order of lasagna. The noodles were so overdone. It really had no flavor. My sister had the gnocchi with pesto which she loved. My nephew also got the gnocchi but did not care for it. We did not care for the food, perhaps someone else would find it more to their liking. Funny aside though, we were starving and went next door to pick up a few donuts, they were delicious

This place is a whole in the wall. I've ordered twice and every time has been good. I love pasta and this place definitely fulfills my pasta craving. If you're looking for real authentic tasting pasta this is the place to go. Customer service is great as well!

Pasta Sisters is amazing!! It's a family owned restaurant that is cozy and comforting! I heard about this fabulous pasta spot from Buzzfeed video and I had to try it when I cam to LA to visit. The staff and manager were so hospitable and took the time out to explain each pasta and sauce! My family and I enjoyed the homemade warm bread and delicious three cheese pasta and meat lasagna... I will be back to sample the eggplant parm when it is in season, delicious and amazing!!

Delicious fresh pasta. Probably would have been a lot better if we got to eat immediately; however, due to the limited seating area, we took it back to our hotel..which ended up about 30 minutes to return to. Still, it was delicious. Enjoyed the tiramisu! They were quite busy ..which must say a lot for their food.

Without question, the best FRESH pasta and Italian eating in Los Angeles. We had the Parmigiana de Melanzane (eggplant); this is FRESH and not oily or excessively cheesy. The best I have had!!! We had the Gnocchi pesto/pine nuts; fabulous handmade gnocchi and the pesto - umph! We had the Ravioli Spinach & Ricotta; absolutely fabulous fresh pasta and a creamy Porcini Mushroom sauce. We had the Arugula Salad; I swear they have a garden out back and they just picked this lettuce, and it comes with toasted walnuts, grapes, shaved parmesan cheese, with lemon oil dressing - GREAT! To top it off we had Tiramisu and Crostata Ricotta, what can I say? I'd go back daily!!! This is primarily a take-out restaurant, VERY limited seating.

I have been to Rome and have eaten Pasta but for the first time in my life that I have tasted the best pasta outside Italy. Superlatives is not sufficient to describe the food here. Wonderful people. If you ever visit Los Angeles you need to try Pasta sisters. But make sure you order before you leave the house. Food will be ready by the time you land there.

Great food, absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are super sweet, and the food is really reasonably priced! We got the clams spaghetti and procini mushroom pasta and both were delicious! Would come back!

Don't be discouraged by the traffic, parking and limited seating at Pasta Sisters because the pasta and other menu items more than make up for them. We drove all the way down for NoHo to sample three plates: the bolognese, alfredo and mushroom. They were every bit as good as we expected from all the good reviews we read. We sat at the front counter and watched them make the pasta fresh which is a big plus. I really enjoyed it and most items are under $10 so there's much to explore on the menu for our next trip!

We were out visiting gramma and grampa at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and afterwards decided we wanted Italian. I did an online search on my LG V30 smartphone for "pasta" and up popped up Pasta Sisters about 3 miles away. We thought we would try it out given it had a 4.5 or greater rating on Yelp! from over 1000 reviews. Let me tell ya, we were not disappointed! I ordered the meat lasagna and it was the best lasagna to date I have EVER tasted. It was seared on the corners and literally melted in my mouth. Just a fork was needed. To wash it down I got a citrus drink in the bottle straight from Italy that was to die for. The establishment is cozy and has limited seating but the nice waiters were able to get two small tables together for the 5 of us. Prices are mid range. My meat lasagna was $13 and the total was $65 plus 15% gratuity. I highly recommend Pasta Sisters.

I ordered the Fettucine with the three cheese sauce. It was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce was very well balanced, not overly cheesy, just right. The bread they give you is sprinkled with salt, which is not my favorite, but it comes free, so I can't complain. Next time I will try one of their desserts, perhaps Tiramisu?
Delicious, even to go
I had Pasta Sisters my last day in SoCal. Literally ate it in the car on the way to the airport. It was delicious and I can't wait to eat it again.
