The appetizer of cold meats was presented unusually. The salami was a pile of cubes, a few thin edges of cheese, some canned olives, etc. The empanadas were ordinary. The veal chorizo sausage was tasty. The wine was good; the pour methodical. We will likely not return.

Great food and good selection of wines especially from Argentina, the steaks are great and the empanadas are also very good

I loved this place fresh tasty quality food, great flavors, pleasant ambiance, what's not to love. I started with beef empanadas. Delicious! I enjoy the Spinach bacon vinaigrette salad. My husband had the ham stuffed chicken. I was so jealous! It was so good! This place is newly opened and not crowded. Come check it out!

We love Patagonia. The food and wine is diverse and delicious! The asparagus soup is a small taser about how good the rest of the meal can be. Not another Texas her is our biggest ribeye restaurant. New dishes appear regularly. You could eat there every week for a year and not have a dish served in most Houston Restaurants. Sebastian is the owner-chef, he treats his guests like family. The staff is trained to excellence, will always remember your name, and show a genuine care for all the guests.

It was a major disappointment. We dined a group of friends during restaurant month on Saturday night. The bread they served was cold and saggy. The steaks were burnet and over cooked. The wine bottle costs $55 but it tasted like a $10 wine. The restaurant was busy but the quality of the food was a second grade quality. I read the reviews before we went and most of the recent reviews were bad but we decided to go anyway. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

We were in a booth and it was a lovely locale for conversation. Quiet and comfortable with live music in the background. The service was perfect - very attentive waiter and staff. The trout was quite good, as was the eggplant appetizer. The ribs were not very tender, though, and the pork was a bit dry and tough. We would go again because it was such an enjoyable evening. We’ll try different foods next time.

We had been here before and really liked it. We made a reservation they didn’t have. We sat at a booth and there was a table of 12 and maybe one other table. We literally waited 30 min with only water. Another group sat down after us and got their drinks before we saw a waiter. When we asked that waitress why no one had come to our table, she said they were very busy and she was just filling in for our waiter. She could not have cared less. And whatever we said, she answered “Perfect.” We finally ordered drinks and 2 Old Fashions came that were not Old Fashions. We gave up and left.

A coworker and I had lunch here just before Christmas. This is a well appointed restaurant with good menu options. I ordered empanadas and milanesa with Russian salad. The salad was good but I was disappointed with my milanesa, as the breading was thin and soggy. The empanadas were flavorful but oily. As far as the dessert round, the flan was very good but the panqueque with dulce de leche my friend ordered was almost completely covered in chocolate and flambéed–soaked–to the point where all you tasted was alcohol and chocolate; my friend simply couldn't eat it. Our waiter was attentive and the service in general was good.

We enjoy genuine Argentinian food, so we were delighted to see this restaurant open nearby. The mgt is from Argentina and Uruguay, and they brought the classics with them. Wonderful empenadas, beef and other traditional favorites. And awesome Tres Leche to finish.

It all starts with the bread with chimichurri sauce. fantastic!!!! Then we ordered empanadas (exactly the same as in Buenos Aires!). I got the milanesa and my husban got the Bife de chorizo. The milanesa is something else! And he was crazy about his dish too. And to finalize, panqueques de dulce de leche. Delicious!!!!

Good Argentinian atmosphere with a wide variety of options. Despite of the full house, the service was good and satisfactory. Good live music on Sat night. The "parrillada" for 4 was good to feed 7-8 persons. Constructive Feedback: I have made the reservation via Open Table and did not like they called me a couple of hours before the time to get my credit card number, which I have not given. Trust you customers !. Price was on the high side.

We stopped by for an appetizer and a drink and kept on ordering the empanadas. We love this family owned place.

We went with another couple and didn't want to eat too much, so we had a blood sausage and a New York steak. The sausage was cold inside, and we asked to take it back and grill it a little more. Came back overcooked. The steak was obviously not grilled but cooked on a pan, greasy, burned outside, oily. Awful. Since we shared it, they offered to cut it in half "so they will give you another salad". And they charged "split fee" (???). They offered bread, and they also charge for the bread basket without any notice. I don't think I'm coming back.

Met friends here for dinner. The server was friendly and gave us space. The fried calamari was good but not great. Paid $75 for a bottle of wine that was ok but not great. We all ordered from the Houston Restaurant Week menu. The spinach empanada was the highlight of the meal. The ribeye was so thin it looked like a normal cut had been sliced in half. Unsurprisingly it was well done. The desserts were all good but nothing memorable. Patagonia could be so much better, but the value fell short of the price.

We had dinner there last evening and it was a very nice experience. The service was great and the food was very good. It is pleasantly decorated and there was someone playing the saxophone ( not too loudly ). The restaurant was not very full— can’t really understand this because everything was very good.

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and we have dined here on at least 4 separate occasions. A couple of times we sat at the bar to catch the Astros game, and that was ok. Every time we eat here we feel like we paid too much for value received, but it is in the neighborhood and I keep hoping it will get better. Don’t get me wrong, It is a very nice restaurant, with great service. Tonight I felt the need to post a review. I asked the waiter for a recommendation for a nice bottle of Argentinian Malbec. Our waiter recommended an $85.00 bottle of Loscano Private Reserve Malbec 2015. I looked up the wine and it is rated 3.6 with and average price of $12.49/ bottle. I expect to pay double for a bottle of wine, but not almost 7 times the average price of the wine. My wife had an appetizer, and I had a 12 oz skirt steak and our bill with tip was over $180.00.

First time at Patagonia. We have been to Argentine Patagonia and Ushuaia and loved the food there. Were surprised to find such a wonderful restaurant in Houston. There are over 7,500 restaurants in Houston and many South Americans too; We have experienced many of them. Surprised to find Patagonia and rate it as one of the Top Top restaurants in Houston. Amazing value and quality. I have the Argentinian beed which is amazing, grass fed beef with flavor that corn fed beef will never have.

We were a party if 3, and we had to wait half an hour to get a table. Once seated, it took them 15 more minutes to come and get the order. Restaurant is not very big, probably 20 to 30 tables, therefore I assume they are understaffed. We ordered the menu for the houston restaurant week, which for 35$ it includes starter, soup, main course dessert and a glass of wine. Food was good, tasty and well presented. For the food only, it would be a 4 star rating. Here is the problem, we requested to continue with a bottle of the same wine we were already drinking. They charged us 90$ for the wine. All if us believe it was overpriced for the wine they served and definitely unfair. I will never go back.

This restaurant was a real find. There is a bar when you walk in where you can order wine and appetizers if that's all you want. The house wine is excellent (Malbec). This place prides itself on its wine selection and they have some rare wines for you wine aficionados. One of the owners makes regular trips to Argentina and he brings back wines from there. Food selection is also great. You can get meat plates as you would expect but also seafood too. I had the cathedral salmon which was quite tasty. There is a meat dish which you can get which can be shared amongst 3 or 4 people. Even with 4 people, you might not finish it! They also have a very good tres leche cake for dessert which I highly recommend. The staff is very warm and attentive. Service was excellent. For large groups and special occasions, they have a private room which can be used. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I was impressed. I will definitely return to this place. If you are seeking an Argentinian restaurant, this is a good choice.

This was an excellent choice to celebrate my lovely wife's birthday. The tone of the atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially as we were greeted upon arrival by a skilled pianist softly playing to a modest dining crowd filled with aromas of premium meats and wine glass vibrations, clinking joyfully to the table side convos an smooth melody. The steak was magnificent to say least. I recommend the New York Strip, Aspen Ridge, CO. #delish. The wife requested the Salmon which was also delicious in it's own right. Victor our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, with every recommendation being seemingly the perfect choice. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and believe you will too. Good job Patagonia Grill & Cafe

I took my friend to treat her for lunch, late birthday. I was also looking at this restaurant as a prospective location to hold my boss' Birthday lunch for our department about 15 people. Family and friend and I have traveled pass this restaurant with the question of whether it was a good place to enjoy a meal. Upon entering the restaurant, the decor was nice. Very deep tones and pleasant. We wanted to be seated and were even asked if we had a preference. The restaurant at the time was not full with only 3 booths that aligned the wall of windows having 3 couples. We decided to sit at a table. I asked the waiter about their lunch menu. He stated very flatly that they did not have it this day due to a Valentine's Lunch and Dinner special. I thank him and ask if they would have it on other days, once again in gather information for my Boss' birthday. He said yes and when asked for the prince he stated about $25 dollars, something that was about what was stated on their website. He left without offering his name or taking out drink order. Twenty minutes later, he returns to take our drink order and meal order and leave. He returns to bring us our drinks and I have to call him over again to switch out my drink, because it had too much ice. By this time two more customers arrive and are seated, one at a table and the other in a booth. Both are asked their drink order and served. We noticed that everyone was served a basket of bread and when I asked if we could have some, one of the waiter very sardonically states "The bread is being baked. As soon as it is out everyone will get bread. The entire restaurant will get bread." Well, as we waited for the bread, our meal arrives. We had order 3 different empanadas on the same place. Not know which was which, we ask another gentleman to tell us which is which. abruptly the waiter who took our order, interrupt him to point to each, this is this and this is this. We commenced our meal and I notice that the same gentleman that told me that "The whole restaurant will be given bread" was passing bread basket out to every table but ours. This was the last straw. The service was downright discriminatory. My friend and I could not decipher what was it that distinguish us from the other patrons. As we examined the tables, perhaps it was because we were only women? Could it be that I choose to speak in Spanish to the wait staff? Could it be that my friend was the African American in the restaurant? I don't know the definite reason but I felt that they was a difference in the service my friend and I received that I asked to speak to the manager. His name I believe is Sebastian, since I overhead a lady walk in and say hello to him. He did come over and I stated the issue with our meal. He apologized and asked if he could compensate us with a free dessert, which I replied that my complaint was so that we could be compensated with something free. I informed him that the reason I wished to speak to him was so that he was aware of the caliber of service his wait staff provided and that he just missed out on having us for my boss' party. He questioned who in his wait staff spoke to me sarcastically about the entire restaurant getting bread, to which I indicated the gentlemen. I told him I suspect we are both Hispanic, to which he agreed, and that it is customary for us to go out of our way when provide a service. He apologized again. I thanked him, paid my bill with a tip and left a small message on the bottom in Spanish. Bola de mentirosos! Nunca nos trajieron el pan. Food was good but if the service is bad, it isn't worth it. Now I am disappointed I have to look for another venue for my boss' party.

This restaurant is wonderful! We have been twice and will make it a regular stop. Wonderful food, great Ambiance, great waitstaff, and Tangos on Wednesday night. Wines are very good as well. The pasta dishes are fresh and the best we have found. It’s a great relaxed atmosphere.

We had our office Christmas party there, and were not disappointed. Good Malbec house wine, good steaks, and a pleasant decor. Better value than some of its competitors, although it did not have a bandoneon or tango dancers. We had good service for a party of 12.

We had a group visit with eight people. The service off slightly since an appetizer was omitted, but because we ordered so much, it was not really a problem. We did mention it and the management said next time the appetizer is on the house. Next time, it was on the house and all was good.

This was our second visit to this fairly expensive restaurant in Houston. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is very friendly. Our food, its presentation and service was uneven this time. One dish we ordered was the grilled shrimp--which the menu stated was eight of--but only seven were on the plate. Even so, it was a tasty dish. My order of chicken was over cooked as were the potatoes but the sauce was good. My companion's order of wild boar arrived a bit late and proved to be a disappointing choice as it had much gristle in it. Kudos to the excellent salads though.

This little gem just off the Katy freeway is a not-to-miss. The collection of Malbecs from Argentina is without comparison here in Houston. It's a warm atmosphere with a private room for larger groups. Sebastian has done an amazing job of creating true South American cuisine from the asparagus soup with chicken to the meat and cheese plate, the empanadas and fantastic main courses. Try the flan and desert crepes to finish the experience. It's a must-stop for visitors and locals alike.

My wife (Argentine native) and I adore this restaurant! Everyone caters to the guests without overpowering presence. Professional yet courteous. Food is always delicious and prepared as if you were at home with family and friends. Wonderful experience each and every time.

This was my second time in Patagonia ,our first being 6 month ago ,and was very good so we took our friends for dinner and was a bit unorganized , we have reservation but we walk together with someboby else that they didn't but she took then first to the table because she knows the couple,we set on the table for like 8 minutes and finally the server shows up and he wants our food order ,we didn't have drinks ,so i asked for wine and appetizzers , they got us bread and chimichurri and the empanadas then somebody else carry the provolene but by then we didn't have any bread .we wait and wait nobody stop in our table even after we call somebody .finally i get up to ask for bread ,the cheese was cold ,we wait again until our waiter shows up to take our order and we wait another 25 minutes ,the food was good but service was horrible ,my friend ask for sweet tea and they forgot the sugar ,my husband ask for hot tea ,no hot water , They told us that they run out of bread ( on a Saturday Night ) It took us 3 hours to be able to finish dinner , Is so sad because the food is good and is nice place but they need people with more experience on the floor , they have enough people running around but they don"t know what they are doing, manager never visit our table ,on the way out the personel, owner or manager were eating seating at the bar and they didn't said good night Hope that they can get better training

Spectacular!!! Had the Argentinian salad and it was fresh and vibrant, full of flavors. I then had the Churassco sandwich and it was remarkable. Garlic toasted bread with herbs, tomato, lettuce, cheese with a beautifully seasoned tender flank steak topped with two fried eggs!!! An explosion of flavor. You have got to come here.

Our friend invited a few of us for her birthday celebration at Patagonia Grill & Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!!

Despite the wait while the restaurant is full, service and food are excellent. We celebrated my husband birthday and everything was great. If you are planning to eat prime meats in any location, good meat takes time to cook properly and you must enjoy the time with a glass of wine and great company. We had the parillada mix for 4 with mashed potatoes and green salads. Best dish ever! We recommend this place to have a great dinner.

I dine and lunch at Patagonia frequently. The bar is elegant, decorated in dark colors, nicely lighted and well stocked. The bartenders are elegantly dressed in black and white outfits, a la French/Italian style, are very pleasant and knowledgeable professionals - the prepare classical martinis, finest Caipirinhas, and Single Malts. They also serve the finest Argentinian and Spanish wines, amongst other wines and spirits. Chef Sebastian Abraham, who came from Bariloche, a world class Ski Resort in the Patagonian Andes, to Houston offers an extensive and varied menu, including Argentina’s well known fares - steaks, pastas and wild game, previewed by a long list of incredible appetizers (Provoleta melted cheese, chorizo(s), empanadas and much more). The service is impecable

Very good service, steaks and ribs were excellent on our 1st time there. Also, very decent wine selections. Highly recommend this one. Will be going back this weekend.

The ambiance is great and the food is delicious! It is a great value for your money! The service was fast, with the waiters being constantly attentive to your needs. Then about mid-way through dinner, a man began entertaining the guests with an accordion - loved it!

The best chimichurri ever. From the house wine, "bife de chorizo", mushroom ravioli (Alfredo sauce) and to even the coffee, everything was to die for. And on Thursdays there's live music 👌🏻

This is a very stupid rating system. There should be a "Good" between "Average" and "Very Good." Yah?? Wanting to support a non-chain restaurant near our neighborhood, I called four days in advance for a reservation, six people on a Tuesday night at 7:15 pm. I had a pretty in-depth discussion about their wine menu with the gentleman who took the reservation. The very attractive space was looking lively when we arrived the following Tuesday evening. However, they had NO record of my reservation. Some excuses were given: "You must have talked to my brother; I am just helping tonight." I inquired about the empty side room (with a table for 10). "Oh no, the people from Churrascos are coming." So, I am pretty much chopped liver. . . . Danny, host and co-owner crammed us in to a booth after our wait. No thanks. I had already told him that we wanted a table. He finally delivered by pulling together two tables from opposite sides of the dining area. After I had my little snit fit about the table, Danny came around and seemed to work hard to make our evening a success. The food was Very Good (4 of the 6 of us have been to Argentina). They were out of the calamari; but, the ceviche was quite nice and the empanadas were the best we'd ever had. The big mixed grill (ordered medium rare) was an awesome meat fest. We ordered the size that allegedly feeds four; it fed the six of us (plus some dogs, later). The food is worth going back for (after we have digested like snakes). But I wouldn't go back if Danny had not come around and (finally) treated us like appreciated guests. FAB wine selection! I say go.

We were looking to get to-go so we called ahead at 9:35, the person on the phone claimed the kitchen closed at 10. So we get there at 9:42, get seated at the bar with menus after saying we would like to order to-go. At 9:45 a different person walks up and claims that the kitchen closed at 9:30 and that we can't order. The food may be the best food on the planet but the service was so poor I will not be coming back. I do not appreciate having my time wasted, severely disappointed.

We stumbled on this place even though we live nearby and happy we did. We have now dined there several times. Owners are always there and super-friendly they check on every table. Some of the best empanadas I have ever eaten, they serve them as appetizers. Fantastic wines from South America. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Have had about everything on the menu you can't go wrong with any of their offerings.

We excited to visit this place as it is close by, had a great menu and we like to support local merchants. Unfortunately our meal was a disaster. The atmosphere is cheerful and unique but it was pretty much down hill from there. The fried calamari was mediocre (it is hard to beat the calamari at the Italian chain owned by the Aussie-themed chain of steakhouses if you get my drift) as the sauce was bland. The salad was delicious because of the cilantro dressing. We tried one of their house specials, their venison even though they said it would take 45 minutes. Well it took more than 45 minutes and when we tasted it we figured out why.....we ordered our meat medium rare but it came well done. It was so dry it was inedible. As the manager was our server (they havent worked out their staffing issues yet) we pointed it out to him. He was very nice and cordial but all he did was comp us on two glasses of wine.so we paid for a high-priced entree that we couldnt eat. It will be a long time before I go back.

I went to this place with my colleagues, not many people so very cozy environment. The food is very good and the service is good too. I like the fish which was the recommendation from the hotel.

Starting off with great decor and followed up with great friendly service, my family and I had a great lunch. From traditional empanadas, bife de chorizo and entraña to pasta, chicken, salads, soups and even a burger, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Even the kids menu options are paired with nice sides. My wife ordered the bife de chorizo and I had an amazing pork chop. Both came with great sides and a green salad. Everything on our plates was awesome. If you're out with family or out for a business meal, Patagonia will surely impress and make you come back for more.

We stopped for lunch. It is a wonderful sit down full service restaurant. Not a quick lunch, for us it was perfect. It would be a great place to have a longer business lunch if needed. Service was excellent, and the food was tasty. I would return again for dinner when we are in the area.

Fish is always fresh and very tasty. Good selection of wines to accompany your dinner. Waitstaff is very helpful with food and wine recommendations. Super generous portions of fresh veggies and mashed potatoes served with fish entries. Try the polenta, grilled shrimp and asparagus super tasty appetizer.

There isn't much positive to say here, except the salmon my friends had was good. Food: Fine dining prices in a casual atmosphere. Menu offered veal milanesa. Maybe the owners think all diners are idiots, but someone who knows food knows veal when they're eating it. This was not veal. When pressed, the server was very uncomfortable, but protected the establishment. Wine: List presented on plain white sheets stapled together - very elegant. All CA wines listed as Napa, but several (most?) are from other regions. Do your research, because some wines are marked up as much as 5 times wholesale, some are only doubled. There are several better options for Argentine food in Houston...please, seek them out. At this rate, these people will close soon anyway.

Mother's Day 2017 celebration for my wife at Patagonia Grill and WHAT A PLACE! Exquisite Argentine food in a fantastic atmosphere. The background music was great and non-imposing. The wait staff was professional and the prices reasonable. Will make this a favorite for our family when whenever we come to visit Houston.

Like so many places in Houston, from the outside it looks like a retail storage unit, but inside I found a very decent place serving particularly good Malbec, cool as it should be. I didn't stay for supper unfortunately, so the bread and chimi chunga sauce was all I savoured, while the saxophonist did his thing in the corner

We went on a Saturday so they had live music. The place is mid-size and charming decor. The menu was full of options and we went for the beef. The service was great. This is high-priced restaurant so better for special events.

Driving through Houston at rush hour on our way to Louisiana we looked for a restaurant to wait out the traffic. There, on Yelp, a restaurant right off the highway and well-rated, Patagonia Grill and Cafe. We went into a quiet and calming room with muted tones and muted TV, were given attentive service and had a vet nice meal of asparagus and bacon soup, a salad and roast duck with potatoes. I would have preferred my potatoes not cubed so tiny and maybe served a little hotter. My husband loved his soup and the chicken was very good. The tres leches cake tasted a little too refrigerator-milky to me rather than sweet milky but overall it was a good meal. The service was excellent.

Interesting wine list of wines from Argentina and Chile. Nice menu items. Friendly staff and wonderful service. We ordered steaks, shrimp and chicken. Every thing was well prepared in large portions.

It’s by far the best Argentinian place in The USA. The food it’s so fresh and the Vino is the best. Absolutely love it.

I am a native Houstonian, from an entrepreneurial family, so I am all about supporting Mom & Pop establishments. I expect professionalism and appreciation for all customers, family or otherwise, but at this restaurant, it appeared you had to be family to be served. There was little or no interest for the customer, the food was okay but it took forever for it to come out. There may have been 10 other customers, 5 of which were family. The server was only there to take the order, no input, no explanation of their new restaurant and/or food, a lost opportunity to engage with the customer and build their excitement on their food :( and their ethnic environment. Oh well, there are certainly other better restaurants, that value their customers.

As they say you get what you pay for........perfectly cooked ribeye, great customer service attention to detail, clean restrooms, delicious food and acceptable prices (a little on high end)Recommended to anyone.

My husband and I both ordered the NY Strip and we were super happy! It basically melts in your mouth. Delicious! We got the venison sausage as an appetizer. I would NOT recommend this dish. It was tasteless. Other than the appetizer though it was great all around. The server was attentive and friendly. The kids meal portion is awesome basically 2 kids could share 1 meal. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and is accommodating. We will be back!

This is a great restaurant, The food is outstanding, The service is top notch and friendly, The exotic dishes are very well prepared. From great steaks to Wild game and fresh fish. They really do the Argentine very well. Oh and wait, I almost forgot the Wine!

My wife and I had heard about this place from friends, and on a lazy Friday evening we decided to try it out. Since this was a long weekend it was not busy so we had great attention and it was not crowded nor loud. The restaurant is very well furnished clean and classy, with a nice long comfortable bar: we sat in one of the booths. The food was absolutely fantastic: the menu is dominated by meat (go figure) so the prices are not cheap.....if you are looking for a quick inexpensive meal this is not a place for you unless you perhaps partake in the appetizers. We started with the provaleta which was hot and gooey, and excellent. We then shared the 16oz ribeye which was perfectly cooked medium rare. There was plenty for both of us: we each got half the steak, with a portion of french fries (which were amazing) and we also ordered the asparagus au gratin (that was also amazing). Overall the meal was very, very good. The wine list is heavily Argentinian with names that I was not familiar with, but the Malbecs we chose were very tasty and accompanied our meals very well. We then finished off with the Argentinian pancake (with dulce de leche) and a couple of espressos. That was a fantastic way to finish off such a great meal. Our waiter was attentive and charming, and the Argentinian owner/chef Santiago came over several times to chat with us, and of course talk with my wife who is also Argentinian. Overall this place is great, and we will be back to enjoy a Friday happy hour at the long bar. Again, the prices are a bit steep for such a small place tucked into a strip mall along the freeway, but the atmosphere and quality of food/wine is worth it if you are willing to pay. We will definitely be back.

We ate here after a family event. I had the Wild pig pork chop. It was well prepared and very tasty.

I just had one of the Best steaks I ever tried, I asked for a rare piece and it was perfect , only rare in the good way. Juicy and so tender it melt in my mouth. May be the wine selection helped to the experience. A business partner who is not a wine connoisseur, asked the Don Genaro, a great affordable Malbec with all the distinguished varietal notes. But later I wanted to go further and I took chances... I asked for La Velona Brunello, out of this world experience...... A classic bold Italian wine. I was told later that wine is one of the best Brunellos according to Wine Spectator. Good to learn new stuff. Even I didn't have to order dessert , because I really finished enjoying the wine , that keep evolving as time passed by .... 👍

I had a combination of epanadoes for an appetizer and a spinach stuffed chicken. The wine was excellent and the tres leches desert was very tasty. They had a variety of game meats and very good steaks. Try it when you are in Houston.

This restaurant recently opened near us, and we've tried it several times for both dinner and lunch. Unlike other reviewers, we've never had any trouble being seated, so perhaps we've been on off days or just hit the right times. The decor is very pleasant, and we've all enjoyed the food. I've ordered the beef empanadas twice and they have been the best I've eaten ever. The pastry is light, flakey and crisp while the meat is flavorful. My daughter got a filet which I split with her last night. It was extremely tender. My husband got the rib-eye which was cooked with their excellent chimmichuri sauce. For me, it was too oily, but my husband liked it. The steak itself was cooked just right to med. rare and very tender. Previously someone ordered the cannelloni, which I had as a leftover. It was different from traditional Italian ones, but delicious. I've also tried the mushroom ravioli and it was very good. Everyone in our family who has had the lentil soup has liked it as well. They do seem a little disorganized sometimes with people milling about, and the food comes out when it comes out. It's not a fast food restaurant, but a good place to linger with friends over wine. So far, none of us have had anything we didn't like.

A wonderful restaurant. Quaint with the right amount of Argentinian charm. The service is excellent and our waiter was very helpful especially when it came to selecting a wine. Which by the way I recommend the Patagonia Malbec which is made by the owner. The food was delicious! From the appetizers, to the salad and entree. The Chilean Sea Bass w/grilled vegetables is outstanding. My wife ordered the tortellini pasta which she said was amazing. The combination of ambiance, music and the service makes for the perfect evening of romance and fine dining. Definitely a must visit.

Nice atmosphere and great service. Food is nice but wish it lived up to the menu imagination... Wide range of dishes, but suspect the meats are the best choices. Loved the empanada starters!

Bartender was very knowledgeable about the lions and about the food. It was delicious food. It was very clean

This is our to go place for steak fine dining or diner with the kids. Cozy and beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and amazing high quality food. I recommend the Parrillada, it is sooooo much food and satisfies all tastes! The morcilla and entrana (outside skirt) are my favorites. Delicious! The empanadas are yummy and the best I've had. Their wines are excellent and their bar offer great cocktails too! I am a regular at Patagonia and have never had an issue, everything I needed or asked for was provided in a prompt and respectful manner. I love the quietness of the location and easy free parking too! I highly recommend!

I admit that I have been to Patagonia now multiple times and now just getting around to a review. Don't let the fact it is in a strip center stop you from going! Each time we visit the owners and staff make you feel like family! The atmosphere is wonderful. And the food, wow! Everything is fresh, creative, and plenty of it. They have a great wine list and will take the time to talk with you and help you order something that fits your taste and budget. We go both for lunch and dinner. I can't say enough good things about Patagonia!

It was our second time there and we tried the "parrillada" (a kind of sample platter of different meats and sausages). It was excellent. They bring it with a tray that keeps the meat warm. The crew is very attentive too. Jaime and Victor are experts, and will not harass you very 2 minutes. I recommend it. Regretfully, they close early. Being an argentine restaurant (in Argentina the restaurants stay until late), they should stay at least until 11pm.

Not what you expect in a Home Depot mini shopping strip. Great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly service and great meal - the Trout was a suggested and did not disappoint! Highly recommended

We had a five person birthday dinner last night. Two ordered steak and raved about it. I had the milanesa chicken. A pre nade thawed piece of shoe leather that smelled of dat old grease. Covered with some tasteless red sauce and cheese. This was accompanied with some ‘russian salad’ a concoction of potatoe salad and mayonaise. No flavor. Needed salt ans mustard. This was recommeneded by waiter. No one at the table ate very much of this crap. Two orher dinners wrre reported as not good. The only thing outstanding was the bill for $360 which included two bottles of $75 wine that was ok but not outstanding. Please stand outsude restaurant and if i every show up again put A stick my eye

We came here on a whim with our three small children. The food was scrumptious! Only down side was that the Kid meals were typical and a little bit pricey for what they were. Overall good restaurant!
Place is ok, but not for the $$$
This is an Argentine Restaurant with Churrasco pricing, but without the Churrasco experience or meat quality. The place is nice and has a big wine selection. Big famous steakhouse pricing makes the experience less than expected. If their $55 steak were $35, I could see the value proposition. At $55, I rather go to Smith & Wolensky or Pappas Steak House. It's not bad, but is overpriced.
